Diary Blog, 14 May 2023, with items about John Osborne, Anatoly Golitsyn, and the Russia-China rapprochement

From the newspapers

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/article-12080849/PETER-HITCHENS-impoverish-nation-help-poor-world.html

“Labour, as we know from the blurted revelations of the Blairite functionary Andrew Neather, actually wanted to change the character of the country. The Tories wanted lots of cheap labour, and didn’t care if it changed the country. The policy continues. I doubt that the latest law on migration will make much difference.

Lord Green of Deddington – a measured former diplomat who deals in hard fact – mordantly pointed this out during last Thursday’s debate in the House of Lords. He said: ‘The Government have actively encouraged large-scale economic migration,’ and produced clear evidence of this.

He warned: ‘The current scale of immigration, of which asylum is only a small part, simply cannot be allowed to continue. The pressure on our schools and public services is heavy and increasing. We already have to build… nearly 300 homes every single day just to house immigrant families.’

[Peter Hitchens, in the Daily Mail]

[should be captioned “MIGRANT INVADERS”]

Naturally, the pro-immigration careerists and “useful idiots” will display the details of some “refugee” brain surgeon or scientist, maybe one single individual out of every thousand.

John Osborne

“Given a platform to express his views in the 1957 anthology Declaration, he took the opportunity to criticize monarchy:

I have called Royalty religion the ‘national swill’ because it is poisonous… the leader-writers and the bribed gossip mongers have only to rattle their sticks in the royalty bucket for most of their readers to put their heads down in this trough of Queen-worship… My objection to the Royalty symbol is that it is dead; it is the gold filling in a mouthful of decay.[67]

[Wikipedia]

Polemical, but he had a point.

More from Osborne:

Critics saw a conservative attitude to empire reflected in West of Suez,[41][36][45] and later in the 1970s he expressed support for Enoch Powell;[76] in the words of Osborne’s biographer Michael Ratcliffe, “he drifted to the libertarian, unorganized right”.[69] Several commentators have argued that a conservative and nostalgic strain was apparent in Osborne’s work from an early stage.[77][52][76] As early as 1968, in an interview with Kenneth Tynan, he had declared himself “a patriot in the sense that my life only has meaning here, not somewhere else. This sort of spurious internationalism, where people respond to one another across nations and continents — it seems to me very unreal.[47]

[Wikipedia]

I am warming to his words, especially after the pathetic “Conservative Democracy” “conference” (about 100 people), at Bournemouth yesterday, had an even more pathetic knot of pro-“refugee” (migrant-invader) protesters (about 3 or 4) outside the “conference”. They were there, apparently, to support non-existent “climate refugees”.

The unreality has now permeated all levels, from mainstream System political parties (look at the last few Prime Ministers— Sunak, Liz Truss, Boris-idiot, Theresa May) to tiny groups on all sides, even the British nationalist side in some cases.

…and do not forget that millions of “me too” idiots promoted the facemask nonsense, including many many “healthcare professionals” such as doctors. Those who realized the nonsense was nonsense mostly kept quiet to protect their jobs and money.

Interesting but, if the KGB was so cunning, why was it unable to save the Soviet Union itself? The collapse of “the West” may be in train, but that of the “socialist” world already happened, starting (arguably) in 1989.

Not that that means that Bezmenov was completely wrong.

Defectors have to sell something, usually either “secrets” or some kind of analysis of events. cf. Golitsyn [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anatoliy_Golitsyn].

As for Bezmenov himself, he died in Canada at the early age of 53: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Yuri_Bezmenov.

Talking about Golitsyn, his stock was low for decades. I recall discussing the matter in the early/mid1980s, after dinner with a senior member of the (British) Foreign Office research apparat. It was at his home in Blackheath (London), and was a merely social invitation via one of his daughters.

The FO man was dismissive of Golitsyn and, after a couple of his excellent aged Scotch whiskies, emphatically so. I had, at the time, the bad habit of playing devil’s advocate or advocatus diabolus

All the same, while the Soviet and Chinese communists may not have expressly plotted together to deceive the West about the Sino-Soviet split [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anatoliy_Golitsyn#Controversies], look at what is now happening— what looks very like a slowly-emerging Russia-China rapprochement against NATO/NWO.

Slightly alternatively, a Russia-China rapprochement combined with a strategy of undermining the West not only militarily but also in financial and commercial areas; weakening the dollar as the default world currency, and bypassing the financial centres of the USA, UK, and EU.

Sometimes, ideas may not become official policy yet have unexpected effects later, down the line. An example of that would be the Helsinki Accords of 1975 [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Helsinki_Accords].

Many saw them as meaningless, an example of the Soviet Union “fooling” the West. That may well have been the intention of the Soviet leadership. However, the dissidents in Russia and the Baltic states, Czechoslovakia etc, used the superficially “paper” agreements to push for liberalization of the whole socialist system in the Soviet Union and Eastern Europe. The rest is history.

Also, speculating philosophically a little, I think that, once an idea has passed through even one human mind, it has incalculable effects down the line.

A somewhat similar idea (re. Helsinki etc) was behind the episode of The Sandbaggers (for me, one of the very best spy story series on TV) called My Name is Anna Wiseman.

I confess that, when I first saw that episode, I thought it rather far-fetched. I thought the same, more or less, about Andrei Amalrik’s Will the Soviet Union Survive until 1984?, which I first read sometime in the early 1980s. [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Andrei_Amalrik]. In both cases, I was (at least partly) wrong. Sometimes, life can be very surprising. I have found that.

Not only to “Ukraine” (the Kiev regime), but also to Israel:

The Jewish lobby in America captured Congress decades ago. The same is true, to a large extent, of the House of Commons in the UK.

I wonder how long it will be before the first nuclear missiles explode in or over Western Europe, and where they will be exactly. In the UK, for example. Faslane? Chicksands? London?

I myself live only about 20 miles from a major likely target area (Southampton). Maybe, in the end, the thing to do would be to buy an excellent bottle of Chateau Margaux or, maybe, Chateau d’Yquem, and just accept that one can do nothing to stop the madness.

If the Russians keep getting poked and prodded and, indeed, endangered by the NATO powers (egged on by the “you-know-whos”, as usual), this can only end one way.

I recall that, when I was living in the South West of the UK, ~20 years ago, a large amount of cocaine was discovered by a dog walker or the like on the wooded banks of the river Torridge, near Bideford. Obviously left by a small boat at night, probably off a larger ship (this was a couple of miles from the estuary, beyond which is the open sea).

Cannot quite remember the value, but I think it was in the hundreds of thousands, at least.

The finder reported it to the police. What else? After all, even leaving aside moral or legal imperatives, most people would have no idea how to sell such a haul. I certainly would not. I do not take prohibited drugs, and know no-one who does, or who would buy that —or any— amount of them.

Doesn’t take much to scare them, nicht wahr? I wonder where their boltholes are? USA? Canada? UK? France? Australia?

Germans know that their territory might well be the first to be obliterated if a terrible nuclear war were to start.

This is the Jewish comedian before whom the entire “Western” msm and political rabble have bowed down…

Zelensky always looks unwashed to me; frankly rather unclean.

I think that the musicians will beat the comedians…

Do you expect manners from “them”? Don’t expect it, then you will not be disappointed.

Now reverse-engineer it.

“Jack Monroe”, a complete fraud. Amazing that she is still being invited to various festivals, though I think only small ones, and she is still occasionally seen in the mass media. In fact, there are still (as of today) 429 utter mugs each sending her between £3.50 and £44 monthly via Patreon. Those idiots must have cotton wool for brains.

Yes, I know that there are other online “grifters”, such as one “Supertanskiii”, a blond woman who has made a living ranting pointlessly on Twitter about “the Tories” (because fake “Labour” under Starmer would be so much better…oh, no, wait a moment…). “Jack Monroe”, though, is a particularly egregious, and indeed pathological, liar.

That is very restrained.

I blogged about those events several times in 2022. As I guessed, there never was a libel action launched, but “grifter” Jack Monroe pretended for quite a while that there was, and solicited donations from mugs.

In fact, her one-time chosen lawyer, Israel-based self-promoter Mark Lewis (about whom I have also blogged in the past), has not even come out of his kennel on her behalf in the past year, as far as I know.

The further tweets are worth reading.

Saturday quiz

This week, I scored 7/10, thus again beating political journalist John Rentoul, who scored 5/10. I did not know the answers to questions 1, 6, and 7.

Inexorably, the war moves towards total war. The Russian side cannot tolerate forever the continual escalation.

Ukraine (Kiev-regime) is running out of soldiers. One can see why.

Hard for the Jews (in Israel) to continue to present themselves as perennial “victims” when advanced jet aircraft supplied by or paid for by the American taxpayer mercilessly attack Arab real victims, who have no means of self-defence at all.

Comment about Starmer’s latest speech. I agree with the extract quoted by Rentoul but, having said that, one could say that “Labour” is no longer “socialist” or even broadly “social” (politically) and is (just like the “Conservatives”) also completely out of touch.

Both System parties, and both entirely in the pocket of the Jewish-supremacist lobby.

Import the uncivilized non-white world (and allow the non-whites to breed prolifically, and also fail to control them) and you import these sorts of social problems.

Not that all such problems are caused by non-whites, but most are. About 90%, even though the non-whites are “only” about 20% of the UK population, and about 40%-50% (?) of the London population.

The Eastern European states, and the poorer EU states generally, love the EU for its financial largesse, the redistribution of wealth from the “old EU” to the “new EU”. Ireland, the Baltic states, Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, etc. For the larger, longer-membership, western and central European states, the wealthier ones, the EU is disastrous. UK (until recently), France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Netherlands; also Sweden, Denmark etc.

There is also the problem of non-white migration-invasion.

The original EEC/EC was not so bad — relaxed trade and travel, even relatively easy residence and work—. It worked because the original EEC populations were closely-related northern European nations, and because it was primarily a trading bloc, not an ever-expanding political project.

There was no non-white migration-invasion, because Libya under Gaddafi, Morocco, and Algeria all stopped Africans from coming across the Mediterranean; also, the NWO had not yet destabilized the Middle East and Afghanistan. Even the Roma Gypsies were “imprisoned” behind the so-called “Iron Curtain” until 1989, and so unable to travel to the UK and other parts of Western Europe.

In the long-term, perhaps even medium-term, Israel is doomed.

The “musicians” are still playing.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-12059245/Inside-1billion-AstraZeneca-compensation-battle.html.

Britain’s compensation bill for victims killed or maimed by AstraZeneca‘s Covid jab could theoretically exceed £1billion, MailOnline can reveal.

Around 90 families are currently pursuing legal action against the pharmaceutical titan, claiming the jab was essentially a defective product.

Lawyers representing the claimants believe that some of the cases could be worth up to £20m in compensation, which is roughly 160 times more than the £120,000 Government support available. They hope to be able to prove that the vaccine was to blame in court.

[Daily Mail]

The woman who developed that “vaccine” was not only applauded by the stupid rabbits at Wimbledon but also got some kind of official “honour”, I seem to remember.

I think that many people, even today, will be honest if they find a purse or wallet. In the past few years, I myself have found two or three. One was a kind of wallet I happened to see in a clifftop parking place. I was there, unusually, early one morning, not long after dawn. I saw the item in the half-light, was curious, so went to pick it up.

The wallet contained about £50 in cash, I think also a debit card, a couple of other bits and pieces, and a student railcard in the name of some girl.

I went home, thinking that the girl must be fairly local, in view of the station which had issued the railcard, only about 8 miles from that car park. Her surname was unusual, so I called the few telephone numbers (landlines) with the same name. Only one answered. An old lady, so no-go.

In the end, I drove to the local police station (its desk manned by an old fellow, a civilian support person) and gave in the wallet. I made the point that there was a large college near the rail station which issued the card, so the girl was almost certainly one of the students there.

I hope that the girl got back her money and the rest. As for what a young girl aged 16-18 was doing in a clifftop car park and (presumably) after dark, and how she managed to lose her wallet, maybe it is better not to speculate…

The second wallet was larger, newer, and packed with both money and cards (an incredible number, literally dozens, neatly and individually carefully tucked into pockets), and had been left in a shopping trolley at Waitrose. I took it in to the help desk, and a member of staff took it from me. Probably the woman who lost it got it back soon afterwards. I imagine that she must have called the store in a panic.

Not that I promise to be a good citizen if someone leaves an attache case containing a million pounds somewhere, which amount of cash could not, in my view, be the property of any honest person. No, the (so far, hypothetical) million pounds stays with me, in that event.

The Conservative Democratic conference. Hall almost empty. Rows and rows of empty seats. The photos show no more than 100 in the audience. In fact, I think that I addressed a larger audience than this one when I spoke at the London Forum in 2017.

Hard to judge the age demographic accurately from the photos, but apart from a few younger persons under 30 (possibly students), and a few youngish blonde women (possibly journalists), the audience seems to have been predominantly grey-haired or bald. I should say, at a guess, that there were more people over 70 than there were people under 50.

Quite. A wilful amnesia which, if anything, afflicts the UK even more than the USA.

Looks as though not all Ukrainians want to fight for the regime in Kiev.

As previously blogged, Ukraine is now no more than a facade of a state. It is entirely propped up by the NWO— arms, ammunition, money, medical supplies, you name it. Basic non-military functions of the state, such as pensions, salary payments etc, are being bankrolled by, ultimately, the taxpayers of Western and Central Europe, and those of North America.

“Free country”? Free speech?

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/usshowbiz/article-12055015/Loose-Women-star-Carol-McGiffin-forced-quit-Covid-conspiracy-views-row.html.

Loose Women ITV star Carol McGiffin was forced to quit after a bizarre radio rant, including claiming the Covid pandemic was a World Health Organisation plot to take over every government.

...original Loose Women panelist Ms McGiffin also accused…mainstream news organisations of conspiring to brainwash the public, causing a mass mental health breakdown, after being ‘bought off by the Government’.

She had been a Loose Women regular from 2000 to 2013, then again from 2018.

But in her radio interview she slated the show, one of ITV’s most popular daytime programmes, hinting that she had been censored by its bosses.

She said: ‘I always look back at when I started working in television and radio as the good old days because they were much less policed, I suppose. Much less restricted and it was a freer place to be.

When I look back at the old Loose Womens I used to do from 2000 all the until I left in 2013, they’re completely different. There is so much offence. People take so much offence at so much and they never used to.'”

[Daily Mail]

I had not previously heard of Carol McGiffin, but that is of no matter.

Note how the Daily Mail scribbler slants the report, so that that woman is presented as rather loony: “bizarre radio rant” etc, while the report describes the often untruthful msm organizations as “reputable“.

Ha. Wes Streeting is a complete puppet of the sinister Jewish-Zionist lobby, which is the main enemy of free speech and freedom of expression in this country. The very malicious “Campaign Against Antisemitism”, and the snoop and strongarm squad “Community Security Trust”, mainly.

The msm in the UK is now packed with those who are enemies of the British people and of white Northern Europe generally. They hate us, they hate our history, they hate our capabilities. It’s us or them. Think about it.

Ship them back. Ship them out.

Exactly. Just like the Last Night of the Proms. Now the enemies of the British people even want to trash that island of convivial sanity.

Would have to be a very Draconian law to force most people to “mix” with her!

…and those cretins have a vote, just like you and me. Ridiculous.

Actually, I have to say, having seen pictures and bits of film of yesterday’s proceedings, what struck me was, in part, a feeling that quite a lot of it was rather unaesthetic. The word “vulgarity” came to mind, in fact.

I have seen, of course, parts of the 1953 Coronation of the late Queen Elizabeth II, and that (maybe because it was on black and white film, and/or filmed from a slight distance) gave the impression of a kind of sacred grandeur. That, to my mind, and from what I have seen, was entirely absent yesterday.

Sacred blood“? How far back does that person think the present monarchy goes? Ridiculous.

I have been meaning to do a “Deadhead MPs” piece about Lammy for about 4 years.

Can you imagine that that creature is a Bencher of Lincoln’s Inn (whereas I was expelled in 2016 after my wrongful and unlawful disbarment), is an MP and Shadow Cabinet minister (whereas I live in obscurity and without position or money) and, despite his huge ignorance, is welcome on TV opinion shows, earning about £200,000 on top of the MP salary and expenses.

Nothing, arguably, shows more clearly the sheer absurdity of where we now are as a country.

If the present Government were not utterly incompetent and completely lacking in credibility, it would have little difficulty batting away the present Labour Party but, as it is, the sheer ineptitude shown for 13 years is a gift to Labour.

Incredible how “entitled” the British “royals” are, bearing in mind their low intellectual and cultural level. Princess Anne has all the charm of her late father. Never met her, but I saw her a few times, one time being at a gala dinner at Lincoln’s Inn (to which I belonged for 30 years, until a pack of Jews procured my disbarment in 2016: see https://ianrobertmillard.org/2017/07/09/the-slide-of-the-english-bar-and-uk-society-continues-and-accelerates/). On the occasion of that dinner, in the 1990s, she seemed to be scowling constantly.

AI is inherently disruptive of authoritarian rule.” Really? Human authoritarian rule, maybe. AI may eventually dispense with human rule altogether. Be warned.

Britain has slowly become, over 2-3 decades (and is still becoming), a police state, though still rather a “toytown” one. Straws in that wind include, in recent years, people such as Alison Chabloz, prosecuted and eventually imprisoned for satirical cartoons and songs about Jews, and the recent seizure of golliwogs from an Essex pub.

The Jew-Zionist element is behind most of the gathering repression. Abuse of the law (eg Communications Act 2003, s.127), corruption and suborning of police, police commissioners, CPS staff etc.

Good point(s)…

The same was true, mutatis mutandis, in the pre-1933 Berlin of Sally Bowles and Christopher Isherwood. Then Hitler and the NSDAP took power, and cleaned up the city and the country.

Jeremy Vine, a typical BBC/msm drone— rather ignorant, hugely overpaid (estimated variously from about £250,000 to as much as £700,000 a year from various income-sources), and socio-politically tendentious (though he is OK as presenter of Eggheads).

American commentator not wrong about Liz Truss, but very wrong if he thinks that Winston Churchill was the first Prime Minister of the UK! There were in fact no less than 41 Prime Ministers before Churchill’s first term in office.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Timeline_of_prime_ministers_of_Great_Britain_and_the_United_Kingdom#Combined_timeline.

Talking of Liz Truss, saw this:

Look at her “I’ve won the Lottery” stupidly happy face. She has no self-awareness, and no real awareness of how much deeper into the mire she has pushed this poor country. She is just happy that, through (for her, happy, but for the people unhappy) circumstance, she became Prime Minister (for 6 weeks), and is invited to events as a pseudo-VIP, and also that she is going to be getting hundreds of thousands of pounds per year, indefinitely, having clambered onto the cart of a completely rotten system that rewards total incompetence.

All the same, it is desperately sad that, by reason of the incompetence of the Russian Army and intelligence services last year, there was no Afghanistan-1979 swift coup de main, seizing Kiev in the first week. Had there been an all-out Blitzkrieg for the sake of mercy, most of the harm, bloodshed, death and damage could have been avoided.

Impressive, if meaningless.

Diary Blog, 4 May 2023, with more thoughts about freedom of expression, and about the new Public Order Act 2023

Morning music

[the Firebird, from a Palekh lacquer box]

From the newspapers

https://inews.co.uk/news/essex-pub-displayed-golliwog-dolls-beer-supplies-2314995?ico=most_popular.

A pub in Essex that had its collection of golliwog dolls defended by Home Secretary, Suella Braverman, has shut down after suppliers cut off their beer supply.

[from the i newspaper]

Very typical of our times: the System repressing freedom of expression not only by opposing individuals politically but also by attacking their personal, family, and business life. It happened to Laura Towler, Sam Melia, and Mark Collett of Patriotic Alternative. Their personal bank accounts were shut down, not by the State directly, not by the courts, but by the unilateral decision of each individual’s bank. Meaning by malicious individuals in those banks, sitting in positions where they had the executive power to do what they did.

In the same way, one sees on Twitter the Jew-Zionist element very keen to contact the employers, or professional regulators, of anyone tweeting supposedly “antisemitic” tweets. See, for example, my own experience of 2014-2016, and up to the present day: https://ianrobertmillard.org/2017/07/09/the-slide-of-the-english-bar-and-uk-society-continues-and-accelerates/.

Reverting to the pub golliwogs story, obviously Heineken and Carlsberg should both be boycotted, but that is mere gesture-politics, really.

This is no trivial story, but goes to the root of what was once, but is no more, a “free society”.

One has to ask, at what point does the repression contra freedom of expression in this society invite direct action against those repressing free speech?

https://inews.co.uk/opinion/most-draconian-assault-free-speech-living-memory-now-law-2313273?ico=most_popular.

The most draconian assault on free speech in living memory is now law.

The Public Order Act was given royal assent and became law yesterday. Today, the Government will activate powers which prevent demonstrators from engaging in all kinds of activities.

[the Act] introduces Serious Disruption Prevention Orders (SDPOs), a kind of protester Asbo, which, if they’re imposed, can demand the individual report to authorities, or be banned from meeting certain associates, or be blocked from campaigning online.

The House of Lords did what it could to kick back. The original text of the bill allowed the courts to impose an SDPO even if the person had never been convicted of a crime, a truly unthinkable Orwellian proposition. The Lords killed it. They also killed a power to impose a 24/7 GPS monitoring tag on those who received a SDPO.”

[from the i newspaper]

Still, it is easy enough in these times for the political police, or malicious special-interest groups, such as the so-called “Campaign Against Antisemitism”, to conspire to get someone convicted on some trumped-up minor charge (the Jew-Zionist fanatics have been doing that for years, as with the Alison Chabloz prosecutions), after which that individual will now perhaps be made subject to one of these “Serious Disruption Prevention Orders”, which in their effect are not really any different to the way in which the Second Chief Directorate of the KGB, prior to about 1989, controlled and regulated minor dissidents in the Soviet Union.

Of course, the i newspaper people will have been all in favour of the repression exercised against the golliwog pub owners, while paying lip service to freedom of expression re. the new Public Order Act.

It is that hypocrisy that prevents so many “free speech” campaigns being effective, as with Toby Young and his “Free Speech Union”, which seems to take the view that free speech is all-important except when Jews complain about the free speech of those opposing Israeli or Jewish interests. The “FSU” never said a word in defence of Alison Chabloz or others; neither has it ever said one word in defence of my rights.

Come to think of it, I do not recall the writer of that opinion piece, Ian Dunt, supporting my free speech rights. In fact, rather the reverse, if I recall aright. One can guess why, of course…

Very true, but Starmer-Labour would/will be very similar.

Again, very true, but the main drivers of censorship —and against freedom of expression— in the UK are the fanatical Jew-Zionists.

As for “Tories“, we can already see that the Israel-lobby puppets in the Labour Shadow Cabinet would be, if anything, even worse.

Again, all true, except that the upcoming local elections will change little or nothing in terms of actual improvements to anything.

I should like to see a reduction of about 4/5ths in the world population, leaving 1/5th, mostly northern European. Not because of “hate” toward the non-Europeans but because, firstly, the natural world is under unprecedented strain and, secondly, only a European population in Europe (particularly) and northern Eurasia can form the basis for a necessary quantum leap in human evolution.

Obscure hit noticed

Well, a first (I think) for the blog today. No less than 8 hits (possibly from only one person, though) from Tadzhikistan (my preferred spelling, btw), one of the wildest corners of the old Soviet “empire” [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tajikistan].

Those who know about such things tell me that the location of hits from overseas is unreliable, by reason of “proxy servers”, but I prefer just to believe that someone in Dushanbe or wherever, for whatever reason, has been reading my output.

I recall that, when I was on the committee of the Central Asia and Transcaucasia Law Association (CATLA) in the mid-1990s, someone had been reporting from Dushanbe (former Stalinabad, during the 1930s and 1940s) on the telephone, before gasping that she had to run “because a tank has just come around the corner“; there was a civil war going on at the time.

[Rudaki (formerly Lenin) Avenue, Dushanbe, Tadjikistan, the main thoroughfare]

The blog has had a few very obscure hits before, including one or two from Antarctica.

Diary Blog, 28 April 2023, with a few thoughts about the upcoming Coronation

Morning music

From the newspapers

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/royals/article-12022491/King-Charles-Coronation-ceremony-sees-key-roles-given-diversity-trailblazers.html.

We may be witnessing the beginning of the end of the British Monarchy.

The odd thing is that, as opinion polls —and simple observation— show, most of the blacks and browns (certainly those under 60) have no time for, or interest in, the Monarchy.

The same is true of the metropolitan LGBTQXYZ crowd, as seen on Twitter.

Yet Charles is bending over backward in the attempt to appeal to those and other “diverse” groups.

In other words, Charles is trying to appeal to those who either hate him and the Monarchy (a relative few), or to those (the vast majority) to whom the Monarchy is a total irrelevance.

It will no doubt be argued by the msm that Charles is being brave and principled. To me, that whole project comes over as weak and ineffectual. As does he.

As blogged in the past, I have nothing much against Charles himself, whom I once met at a small diplomatic reception in Kazakhstan (in 1996). He has championed some issues of importance, including matters of architecture, town planning, animal welfare, and the environment. He may not always have been successful in that —a chequered picture—but he has tried. I think that that cannot be denied.

It must be hard simply to behave decently when you are told by pretty much everything and everyone around you since birth that you are wonderful, special, way above others etc.

At least Charles does try. Look, by way of contrast, at his brother, Andrew… [and see https://ianrobertmillard.org/2019/08/11/the-jew-epstein-and-prince-andrew-the-british-royal-family-has-another-scandal-maybe-its-time-to-just-get-rid-of-them/].

However, this Coronation, far from boosting Charles, may well prove to be the start of his —and the Monarchy’s— downfall. He has invited the head of Sinn Fein to attend, yet not members of families close to the Monarchy for decades, even centuries (and not some individuals close to the late Queen).

The whole thing seems to be a “woke”, fake-“diverse” circus of nonsense grafted onto the comfortable and customary mediaeval and Victorian base.

Maybe that is why Meghan Mulatta is not going to attend, because she realized that she would just be one more “diverse” exhibit in the show.

The last Coronation, in 1953, was (apparently) eagerly awaited by much of the population. Sales of then-still-new- TV sets exploded, because it was going to be the first televised Coronation. Much of the population was engaged and, it seems, felt involved, even if, inevitably, only as background chorus and spear-carriers.

Now? Well, writing this piece, I actually had to look up the date of this Coronation, to remind myself (Saturday, 6 May 2023). I noticed one of the Readers’ Comments to that Daily Mail report: the comment said “I am being swept along in [sic] a wave of apathy“. Despite the error, surely correct. I have not yet spoken to anyone who has mentioned the Coronation in any way, positive or negative. Public interest is at or near rock-bottom.

I have blogged before to the effect that what will kill the Monarchy is not hatred, anger, or even principled dislike, or ideological opposition. No, what will kill it (and is killing it) is apathy as much as anything; the fact that the Monarchy, the Royal Family, their activities etc, have just no connection to, or relevance for, most of those living in the UK today.

For all the “diverse” nonsense, most of the non-whites, indeed most of the non-Brits, are simply not interested. Even in the white (British) “community”, there is a demographic split, most of the over 65s not only interested in the Monarchy but supportive of it; as for the under-30s, not. I think that a recent opinion poll said that about two-thirds of the under-30s would like to get rid of the Monarchy. Again, though, the reason is not anger (as in England in 1649, France in 1789 or Russia in 1917) but simple apathy and lack of interest both in the Monarchy and in getting rid of it.

The other glaring fact is the sheer struggle so many now have simply to pay bills, keep a roof over the head, children and companion animals fed, and so on.

The Monarchy will go at some point but , in the much-used phrase of Nevil Shute, “not with a bang but a whimper”.

Marina Purkiss

“In one astonishing moment, she raised the recent renaming of Black Boy Lane in Haringey, north London. Believing she had found a winning line, she insisted that ‘If you had a street named White Trash you might want to rename it’. Why Purkiss considers ‘black boy’ to be a slur on a par with ‘white trash’ was never made clear.

[Spiked magazine]

Marina Purkiss, a “woke” idiot who thinks that civil rights or human rights such as freedom of expression are unimportant.

Alarming but not surprising that huge numbers of Twitterati think that she is great (and that she somehow “smashed” Jacob Rees-Mogg in that interview).

No doubt Marina Purkiss will continue to make a kind of career out of intellect-free emoting on socio-political issues. She apparently also has other, and remunerated, activity online.

Not that cost-of-living issues are unimportant. In fact, when people start to really struggle, in large numbers, that is precisely when they turn to radical and even revolutionary alternatives which may, down the line, be dictatorial and anti-free speech.

That could be the moment for social nationalism to strike. The missing element is a party or movement. At present there is none worthy of the name. However, in times of crisis and desperation, a party, movement, or individual personality may arise suddenly, out of the depths of the people and events.

Look at that crematorium drone, ordering better people than himself back to their places. The “panicdemic” really brought out numbers of self-important nobodies of that type. No more were they simple supermarket workers, shopworkers, or filling station cashiers. Oh, no! Now they were workers on the front-line of the “Covid” “emergency”, armed with powers (they thought) to order people back, forward, sideways, or to wear muzzles etc, just like instructors dealing with slow-minded military recruits. I had a few clashes with that sort in 2020-21. How they must have hated having to return to stacking shelves…

You still see anti-Hitler propaganda about the alleged euthanasia of some medical “hopeless cases” in the late 1930s. Not everything done in the Reich was correct, but what was done of that type was pretty much on a par with what was happening in the UK, USA and elsewhere. The Jewish lobby (mainly) screams endlessly about “the evils of Nazism“, when in fact the same was happening across Europe and North America, but you never or rarely hear about that.

As for a situation such as that in the last few years in the UK, even the Jewish lobby can hardly blame Hitler and the NSDAP for that

By reason of the repression of free speech already well-advanced in the UK, I am “not allowed” to say what I want to say about what should be done right now…

So people will be “expected” (required?) to stay incarcerated in something akin to an open prison, albeit with cafes and wine bars (in some cases)? Presumably, also forbidden from saying or writing anything anti-“communitarian”…

Au contraire!

I recall when I returned to the UK from the USA in the early 1990s and was trying to launch myself as a practising barrister out of rather rackety chambers in London. Through a series of odd events involving people from the former Yugoslavia, I had met a lady who lived in Hampstead Garden Suburb. Though not Jewish, she knew a number of wealthy Jews in Hampstead and elsewhere. She had been a high-flying model many years before, and had been on the cover of magazines such as Vogue. She had lived in Switzerland and in Montreal, and her style might be called “cosmopolitan wealthy”— a big Mercedes, furs, jewels etc.

We became involved, and she wanted to help me get work (legal cases) via wealthy solicitors that she knew. She told me post factum about one with whom she lunched, and to whom she had recommended my abilities. A Jew, his first question in reply had been to say, “is he Jewish?” Obviously, my girlfriend replied in the negative. Needless to say, no briefs came my way from that one.

Well, there it is.

Sad, and slightly infuriating, though tweeter “@JasonPedlow” is wrong in saying that the said pensioner could “obviously” get Personal Independence Payment [PIP]. In fact, the very opposite is true— he obviously could not, because he is, on the facts as given, a pensioner, and a claimant has to be under State Pension Age to apply for PIP: see https://www.gov.uk/pip/eligibility. He could, however, apply for Attendance Allowance, worth rather less than PIP but still worth having: see https://www.gov.uk/attendance-allowance/eligibility.

Said pensioner would also be entitled to Pension Guarantee Credit: see https://www.gov.uk/pension-credit/eligibility. That would also confer, in principle, further benefits: maybe housing benefit, if he rents where he lives; also various one-off government payments.

Having said all that, it sounds like the said pensioner is a bit of a dimwit, worrying about what non-existent or unimportant people might think about him collecting various benefits, or worrying about some absurd “principle” invented in his own head. At a time when the Government has thrown away billions, hundreds of billions, on the “panicdemic”, on “Ukraine” (the Zelensky regime), on the importation of millions of blacks and browns and others etc.

In fact, tweeter “Spriter” has got it wrong this time.

In international law, the once-accepted theory of “extraterritoriality”, i.e. that the territory of an embassy consists of the territory of the sending state (the state to which that embassy belongs) has not been accepted for many decades. The currently-accepted theory is that an embassy (building with grounds) is on the territory of the accepting state, but that privileges and immunities attach to both the embassy site and (in varying degrees) to its diplomatic, administrative, and technical/logistical staff.

From the newspapers

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-11965509/Maps-reveal-worlds-baby-bust-fertility-continues-drop.html

A fascinating chart highlights how the world is in the midst of a reproduction crisis — as developed countries fall out of love with having children.

In 2020, the global average fertility rate – the average number of children born to each woman – was 2.3, compared to 4.7 in 1970 — a staggering 51 percent drop over a half-century. Swathes of Europe and North America are recording fewer than a two births per woman average.

Meanwhile, as fertility rates shrink in much of the world, they continues to grow in Africa. Thirty-one of the top 32 countries with the highest fertility rates are on the continent, with Niger in the first spot with a rate of 6.9 children per woman.

[Daily Mail]

“...some commentators – including Elon Musk – fear declining fertility rates could lead to a stagnant population, destroying many nations’ economies and overwhelming public support systems.”

Their research found little correlation across the world, and in the US, between available childcare subsidies from the government and changes in fertility.

Income has not proven to be a factor either – with the decline noticeable in women across socioeconomic and educational brackets.

[Daily Mail]

Would be interesting to see whether, in the USA (as in the world as a whole), the non-white and especially the “African” or Negroid population of the USA is breeding faster than the white European-origined population. My guess, or educated guess, would be that that is so.

A serious problem. The proportion of white ethnic Europeans (inc. those of European origin outside Europe) is steadily declining; even now it is only a couple of percent of the world’s population, yet only that small proportion can provide the basis for further human evolution.

I wonder what the end result might have been, had Gerry Adams been covertly eliminated c.1972? Maybe the same, though, ultimately…

Having said that, and in the old saying, “if voting changed anything, it would not be available“. Which is usually true, but not always, thinking of the 1932 and 1933 votes in Weimar Germany that brought the NSDAP to power.

The power of Fate can do anything. “With God, all things are possible“.

Britain, where most things no longer work properly, or at all.

…and while you are about it, “believe” —or pretend to believe— that a male person can become a sort-of female person via some enterprising surgery and a change of costume; oh… and —of course— “believe” that the all races and national groups are basically the same, none more intelligent, more compassionate, or more capable than any other.

It is that very willingness to bend the truth, even in matters which are all but unarguable, that convinces me that Jewish-lobby puppet Keir Starmer would make a terrible Prime Minister, even when compared to the other clowns of the past two decades.

Ukraine is a shambolic, corrupt mess of a “failed state”, scarcely a state at all, and ruled by what amounts to a Jew-Zionist dictatorship.

I think that that is too optimistic.

The Zelensky cabal in Kiev will rely on their embedded fortification of the capital, and their strategy (such as it is) will be to hunker down there, while calling on NATO to get involved even more directly. I would not rule out the use of “false flag” attacks on Poland, aimed at bringing Poland into the war. If that were to happen and if, then, the Russian side were to respond, both Zelensky and the Polish government would claim that Clause 5 of the NATO Treaty had been thereby triggered, “obliging” all NATO member-states (most importantly the USA, but also UK, Germany, France etc) to enter the war on the Polish (and therefore Kiev-regime) side.

That might trigger a full-scale nuclear war in Europe, and probably beyond.

Of course, the Brighton bombing was a terrible action. Having said that, merely one of thousands of British or American bombing raids over Germany in the 1941-1945 period would have caused a hundred or a thousand times the amount of hurt, death, and damage. The same would be true of more recent bombings, in Iraq etc.

Trump situation

Readers of this blog will be aware that I am no admirer of Trump, who when President was basically a squawking parrot guarded by a troop of Jews.

Likewise, I despise the fact that, when in his last weeks in office, Trump sat back and did nothing about the fact that thousands of social-national Americans are in Federal prisons. They could all have been pardoned by Trump. They were just left to rot.

As to Trump’s present situation, and speaking, of course, hypothetically, were I in his position I would rally my supporters with a call to arms. Then follow through. I doubt whether Trump will do anything like that, though. He is all hot air.

It is clear that the American political system is at least as broken as that of the UK, and that sinister forces have taken over the academic/educational sector, as well as the msm. Why play by the rules any more? Face reality. There is a need for a second American revolution, on several levels.

As matters stand, there is no “Parliamentary road”.

Moneygrubbing hypocrites deserve a good kicking.

Technically, Concorde was a great achievement, but I always had a problem with it ideologically: the mass of taxpayers taxed so that a tiny number of very wealthy persons could cross the Atlantic in a few hours. Concorde was subsidized twice over— in its research and development costs, and in its operational costs (losses). The mass of the British people could not dream of ever availing themselves of Concorde’s luxury —if cramped— travel.

I notice, though, that the number of utter mugs sending “Jack Monroe” money via Patreon has now again started to decline, having plateaued for a couple of months.

Last year, after Jewish TV cook Nigella Lawson commended the so-called “Bootstrap Cook”, the Patreon mug-donors numbered nearly 900 (each sending the “grifter”/fraudster between £3.50 and £44 a month, incredibly). That declined to below 500 from August-September 2022, but seemed stuck at around 480. It has now declined further to 460, as of today’s date. That’s still between £1,610 and £20,240 per month, though.
