“A far-right activist who was caught with a library of online stickerstelling non-white people to “go back” has been found guilty of inciting racial hatred.
The jury at Leeds Crown Court returned a verdict this afternoon after spending less than a day deliberating the case of Sam Melia.
The 34-year-old was on trial following a raid at his Pudsey home on Town Street in April 2021 in which police uncovered a catalogue of downloadable stickers which were “intended to stir up racial hatred” and encouraged racially-aggravated criminal damage. They also found a poster of Adolf Hitler on his wall and a book by the infamous British fascist, Oswald Mosley.“
[Yorkshire Evening Post]
There was a time in England, not so very long ago, when people had real freedom of expression. Even in the 1970s, when free speech had already been cut back, it still existed to an extent unthinkable in the England of 2024, in which the “woke” or “politically correct” rule almost supreme, and in which the malicious and fanatical Jew-Zionists “monitor” anything British people say or write, lest it might be —or can be be contrived to look— “grossly offensive” (to “them”).
The great British jury has also fallen by the wayside, and now almost inevitably finds anyone accused of “inciting racial hatred” guilty, no matter how flimsy the evidence. Rubber-stamp juries. I have no idea whether that was the case in respect of the Sam Melia trial. I know only what has been in the Press over the past day or two.
Not only that. Anyone found with such innocuous things as “racist” stickers may get, not even months but years of incarceration, in an England where real crime, even violent crime, is often scarcely punished by the courts.
Look at that Yorkshire Evening Post report. Things actually perfectly lawful (having a poster of Hitler on the wall at home, owning a book by a long-dead British politician) added to the mix in a “nudge-nudge, wink-wink” way…
I do not know Sam Melia, only of him, and only slightly even on that basis, but I very much regret that he has been found guilty. My thoughts are with him, and with his wife, the socio-political activist Laura Towler.

I asked Russian Foreign Minister Sergei Lavrov if western leaders were psyching us up for an all-out war against Russia.
He gave a very eloquent answer, showing the reality of what’s happening as contrary to Washington & London’s heated rhetoric.
Ukraine’s (Kiev regime’s) only hope in this war is to bring in NATO on the Kiev-regime side; to widen the conflict. Russia has not taken the bait so far, but the Zelensky regime keeps pushing, keeps prodding, in the hope of provoking a massive Russian response which might draw NATO into the war directly. If that were to happen though, it would be but a short step to a world war.

The ITN film of a Palestinian civilian shot dead under a white flag is horrific. Keir Starmer, Rishi Sunak and now the US State Department have all point blank refused to condemn it. More and more people are realising that the political class are utterly subservient to Israel.
The guilty verdict for Sam Melia today really does mean that anyone pushing back against the agenda can have a case manufactured against them by the state.
The same state that wants you to go to war for them.
The toad set up an organisation called the 'Free Speech Union'.
Over the last year there have been a number of cases where people have been falsely imprisoned on clear free speech issues with state persecution such as the case of Sam Melia.… pic.twitter.com/Px4n1W4uc7
Tell me about it…I myself face a sentencing court next week, after my conviction for having published a few supposedly “grossly offensive” comments, cartoons etc on this blog.
Many people kid themselves that we live in a somehow “free” country, when what it really is, or has become, is an “iron fist in velvet glove” dictatorship. Well-disguised at times, yes, and somewhat shambolic too, which gives the appearance of laxity (and so “liberty”), at times, but still a repressive dictatorship under (((the usual))) influence; and it is getting worse almost daily.
For asking whether the host of 'Free Speech Nation' would cover the political persecution of Sam Melia, an archetypal free speech case: https://t.co/3CmuJWlsdD
Sam Melia has been convicted of producing stickers that the prosecution admitted contained no unlawful statements, meanwhile the "Free Speech Union" stays silent on the matter and concerns themselves with this nonsense instead. https://t.co/C7IjBzVcdG
The usual “controlled opposition” grifters, such as Toby Young, can be disregarded as a total waste of space.
While I've no time for #PA, this has to be said: Sam Melia is dragged through the courts and portrayed as a racist monster over stickers with messages such as "White Lives Matter", which graced a few hundred lampposts.

Meanwhile, Tommy Robinson is allowed to post blatant incitement and heavy-duty ‘Islamiphobia’ like this to a gigantic audience.
I have always believed that the Muslim #grooming gangs – and the native traitors who facilitated them – should be tried and, if convicted, executed. But to use their crimes to incite generic hatred of an entire community is nothing more or less than conditioning for war against Iran – a war for Israel, without a shred of legitimate British interest.
Make no mistake, this is the UK deep state giving an asset free rein to prod the herd to war.“
Griffin is, of course, correct.
All the same, we must be clear from where the poisonous repression is coming. Not from, at root, the police, MI5, the CPS, but from the “special-interest cabals” behind them…
“David Mundell says Scotland Office was not consulted about Mone’s 2015 appointment.
David Cameron breached “proper process” when he appointed Michelle Mone to the House of Lords in 2015, David Mundell, who was the secretary for Scotland at the time, has said.
Ms Mone is not a successful entrepreneur, she is a small-time businesswoman with a PR exposure far in excess of any actual success,” Anderson wrote. “Awarding her a peerage for a very mediocre business performance brings the awarding of titles into disrepute by rewarding failure.” [a well-informed Glasgow business leader wrote— to Cameron privately— at the time].

I blogged about Mone’s fakery at the time. Like so many in both the Commons and the Lords, she was always a fake.
“Forests with two or three tree species are on average 35% more resilient to storms than forests with only one species, simulations created by researchers found. The type of trees also matters – forestry plantations are typically made up of fast-growing tall trees such as conifers, but they are more vulnerable to high winds than slower-growing hardwood species such as oak.“

Behave yourself Tice / the only agitators is our government Putin causes no risk to the UK https://t.co/zGGxAkKdQJ
Tice is hopeless. It is a measure of how unpopular the present misgovernment is, and how discontented are many of the voters, that Reform UK, even under Tice, even though it is not social-national, is apparently now on 13%, acc. to opinion polling.
Whether that will cut much ice at GE 2024 remains to be seen. We have, in a sense, been here before, with both UKIP and Brexit Party (both Farage vehicles, as is Reform UK). The difference, maybe, is in the degree of desperation felt by the voters.
When the voters feel real desperation, and in sufficient numbers, they may be ready, finally, to turn to real social-nationalism.
Richard Tice is no leader. We need someone with charisma a man of destiny no less.
“...the light shineth in darkness; and the darkness comprehended it not“…
Those latest polling figures are striking all the same. They might translate, at GE 2024, to a Labour majority of 420, with the “Conservatives” left as a rump of 35 MPs.
There are a legion of half-wits who are compelled to throw their money at anyone who utters anything remotely anti-Tory, and the grifters like Jolyon Maugham, Dr Julia, Simon Harris, Supertanskiii, Jack Monroe etc are more than happy to take their cash.
It is depressing, though, to observe how many of the said idiots are unwilling to see the truth even when it is presented, unambiguously and with irrefutable supporting evidence, to them… a bit like the people in the 1930s, 1940s, even up to the 1980s, who sincerely believed both in Marxism-Leninism and in the idea that the Soviet Union was a wonderful society, maybe with a few flaws here and there. I must have met hundreds like that.
Gaza (and the Jew-Zionist quasi-genocidal devastation there) is a very important issue but, as an acerbic Dutch lady once told me, about 42 years ago, “the shirt is closer than the skirt” (apparently an old Dutch proverb akin to “blood is thicker than water”). First things first. This country is now in a truly terrible mess. Our own people have needs that are not being addressed, still less satisfied. No wonder so many people say that they are “politically homeless”, and are unwilling to vote for any System party.
So it seems that the winds are set fair for a second Trump presidential term.

General Sir Patrick Sanders, Chief of the General Staff, will stress the need for ministers to ‘mobilise the nation’ in the event of a wider conflict against Russia amid its invasion of Ukraine.
Gen Sir Patrick – who has been openly critical of staff shortages in the military – believes there should be a ‘shift’ in the mindset of the public who should be willing to defend the UK against foreign adversaries.
But while the Army head – who is standing down in six months after allegedly falling out with Admiral Sir Tony Radakin, the overall chief of the Armed Forces – is not thought to be in favour of conscription, Nato bosses have warned allied nations to be prepared to take any and all actions necessary to fight Vladimir Putin’s forces.“
[Daily Mail].
[Daily Mail graphic]
What utter nonsense. Conscription would never produce effective soldiers in the social milieu of Britain in the 2020s. Look at the population! Look at those aged 18-40!
Apart from that, what world do our politicians and military “geniuses” live in? One, it seems, in which the atom bomb, nuclear weapons and ICBMs have not yet been invented. The general appears (as portrayed by the Daily Mail, anyway) to envisage a WW2 scenario of massed armies fighting a ground war across Europe. Someone really ought to tell our military men that the massed armies of conscripts will not last long once their home cities and towns, and Army/Navy/Air Force bases, have been turned into charred craters by Russian nuclear attack.
Indeed, the said armies of conscripts would quite soon be turned into irradiated facsimiles of the Terracotta Army.
Even leaving all that aside, there is no overarching Russian plan, and no ideological impetus, to invade central and western Europe. Russia under Putin is not the Soviet Union in 1948, 1962, or even the 1980s.
Russia has no incentive to attack or invade NATO territory, unless itself attacked, or pushed too far. Put simply, Europe now has nothing Russia would want.
The hysterical propaganda from the msm calling for, or fomenting fear of, war with Russia seems to blithely ignore the fact that Russia has been trying —but not succeeding— to crush the shambolic forces of the Kiev regime for nearly two years. So now Russia is set to invade Central Europe? Western Europe? Scandinavia? How? With what? Why?
What is really behind this NWO/ZOG propaganda?
As for Sweden and Finland joining NATO, their leaderships must be mad, or part of an NWO/ZOG conspiracy. They have just made themselves targets for potential annihilation.
Thinking again about General Sanders, and his apparent view that the UK should be ready to “defend itself“, he appears to be unaware that, for many real British people (let alone the blacks, browns etc), there is a feeling abroad at present that there is now not much left to defend. Not much worthwhile, at least.
What are the serried ranks of the new conscript armies to defend? Enormous income and capital inequality and inequity? A nation and society largely destroyed already by mass immigration? The Zionist control, influence, and takeover of the UK’s mass media, publishing, law, legal system, and politics? Collapsing living standards?
If General Sanders (and his seaborne and aerial colleagues) want to “defend Britain”, they might start by securing the UK’s borders from migration-invasion, or from cultural invasion (i.e. from the USA). They can no more do that, though, than build (in their own little minds) a farcical copy of the Allied armies of WW2, and/or pretend to be about to face some fantasy conflation of the Soviet forces of the Cold War, and Hitler’s Wehrmacht.
The general in question is apparently about to retire. Looks like that might be not before time.

Yes my family is from Dagenham, my Grandfather worked at the Ford Motor Company. He moved to NZ when they started filling up east London with Blacks after WW2, which he fought in.
I plan on going back to England one day, but on a War Chariot, and I will swing the axe.
I too was tried (in November 2023) for having published the truth, though was not actually arrested (merely summonsed, in early 2023, by postal requisition). Incidentally, I shall learn my fate within about a week (at the sentencing hearing). Free speech is effectively dead in England.
…not to mention that it would prevent the present migration-invasion.

All this talk of conscription into the British Army doesn't worry me. I know I can avoid it. After all, it's a job, and I've successfully been avoiding those for many, many years now. I'm an expert at job avoidance, qualified by experience.
I find the whole (obviously contrived) “debate” puzzling. The whole idea that huge numbers of British citizens will “have to be” conscripted “if there is war with Russia” is simply bizarre, some kind of Loony Tune.
If NATO is at war with Russia, it will not be long before Russia’s 6,000-7,000 nuclear bombs and missiles are deployed. At that point, you can forget the new “Dad’s Army”, and much of the regular Army as well. Do idiots such as Tobias Ellwood really think that there would be much left of the UK in that scenario?
Yes, Russia would have its cities and bases destroyed too, but it has space beyond our usual imaginings. 70 times the size of the UK. Three times the size of the contiguous USA.
The fact is that any war with Russia which went nuclear (as it probably would) would spell the complete end of anything resembling the present UK.
This feverish speculation about upcoming war with Russia is being seeded by remarks from NWO/ZOG puppets, both military and civilian (military personnel, politicians and msm scribblers) across Europe and North America now. There is some kind of plot being hatched. A fairly obvious one, really, but the masses do not see it, they only see the noise and chatter, and take it as genuine.
The Kiev regime is now in serious trouble, and the Israeli regime is also on the back foot. The ruling circles of the West therefore deflect to the non-existent “threat” to western Europe and central Europe from Russia.
Is part of this “conscription” and “wartime regulation” thing just another attempt to corral the populations of Europe into behaving like compliant sheep, as during the “Covid” panicdemic/scamdemic?
Incidentally, Wikipedia is very reticent about Ellwood’s parents. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tobias_Ellwood. He was born in New York, but they also lived (1970s/early 1980s) in Bonn and Vienna. Diplomats? Nothing on Wikipedia. SIS? Maybe. Bonn and Vienna were centres of both diplomatic and espionage activity in those Cold War days; and Ellwood junior is now an officer in the sinister TA/Reserves 77th Brigade (disinformation, online snooping etc).
“Politicians hide themselves away, They only started the war. Why should they go out to fight? They leave that all to the poor.”@Tobias_Ellwood, you can poke your war up your arse. Sideways.
That should always be and should always have been the case.
Bob Moran
I see that the cartoonist Bob Moran, so prominent in the “Covid” panicdemic/scamdemic (he was sacked by the Daily Telegraph for being too honest and too cuttingly satirical) is now in (more) trouble with the Jew-Zionists:
Disgraced cartoonist who sparked outrage for Netanyahu cartoon charges £75,000 for paintings https://t.co/PJq8lGsm8F
— Campaign Against Antisemitism (@antisemitism) January 22, 2024
First of all, note the “typical” language. Those thought hostile to Jew-Zionism are always labelled “disgraced” (by the Jew-Zionists). In the same way, the (((very same))) “ones” always describe me as “disgraced and disbarred“. Disbarred (wrongfully and unlawfully)— yes. “Disgraced“— no.
Ironic, nicht wahr? They hate that Bob Moran cartoon so much that they have reposted it, many times now.
Note, also, how the money he is apparently getting for his pictures has “triggered” them…”A shark can smell blood in the water a mile off when he is hungry” [Control, in The Spy Who Came in from the Cold]
Looking at the cartoon, several aspects strike me. First of all, the cartoon is very hard-hitting. Why should it not be? After all, the Jewish government of Israel has killed, in the present campaign in Gaza, about 26,000 people, mostly civilians (and wounded, many badly, about 64,000).
Half the population of Gaza is under 18, and about a quarter is under 12. The arithmetic may not be exact, but that means that, in three months, the Israelis have killed about 6,500 small children and babies, and have wounded (including mutilation, and injury leading to amputations) about 15,500 children under 12, including babies.
It might be argued that the “offending” (?) cartoon is far more hard-hitting than any posted by me on this blog (and in respect of which, inter alia, a magistrates’ court will sentence me next week); likewise, that Bob Moran cartoon is, arguably, more hard-hitting than anything posted by Alison Chabloz years ago (in respect of which she was actually imprisoned in the end).
Not that I wish for the cartoonist to be prosecuted. Far from it. Satirical cartoons were always part of the rough and tumble of British opinion and commentary, that is until “they” arrived and started to influence the legislature, the police and, now, the Crown Prosecution Service.
Free speech is now all but dead in the UK.
Finally, funny how those who have reposted that cartoon in order to attack Bob Moran have spread the cartoon far and wide online and offline! Indeed, I myself would otherwise have been unaware of its existence.

London 2024. What will it be like by 2034?
Incidentally, I note that, once again, one of the “pay peanuts get monkeys” wannabee “journalists” of the Press has written “was stood” rather than the correct “was standing“. Standards of literacy in journalism, as with everything else in contemporary Britain, have fallen through the floor.
“A fraudster tried to impersonate would-be drivers in theory exams even though he looked nothing like them. More wonderful “diversity”. Why is the “brainless” invader even here? Why is he allowed to stay? How can the present society even be maintained, let alone advanced, when much of the urban population of the UK is similar to that?
If repeated at the election, Conservatives would lose all but 41 seats. MPs facing the axe include Liz Truss, Suella Braverman, Jacob Rees-Mogg and… Rishi Sunak
That tweeter suggests that Con Party might have 41 seats after the GE. My own attempt to predict it via Electoral Calculus (on the same figures but including EC’s Scottish seats prediction and my own “tactical voting” estimates) leaves the Cons with only 36 seats. Almost existential for them, especially as hardly any people under 50 (about 10%, according to YouGov) will be voting for the Conservative Party. https://www.electoralcalculus.co.uk/userpoll.html.
The British electoral system moves slowly over the years, but it really looks as though the Conservative Party is on the way out. It happened to the once-mighty Liberal Party after the First World War; and look at the SNP, in the other direction: the SNP took about 40 years after its foundation (early 1930s) to get a single MP (1970) and then another 45 years (2015) to get more than a handful of Scottish seats.
Incidentally, the YouGov figures also suggest a possible/likely LibDem bloc of 30 seats, double what they now command. That despite an opinion poll level of only 8%, re-emphasizing the importance of concentrations of votes. Seems that Clausewitz was right even off the literal field of battle.
As to Reform UK, the prediction indicates either no seats or 1 seat, despite the 12% polling. However, the night is young. Matt Goodwin does not rule out 15%, most of which would come out of the 2019 Con Party vote. Above that level, seat gains become possible, certainly if Reform UK managed to get 20% at the GE. If the Conservative vote continues to slide, 15% is quite likely, 20% not impossible, even if only as a despairing protest vote from “Middle England”.
Reform UK is not social-national, merely conservative pseudo-nationalist, of course. Also pro-Israel, and pro the Jewish lobby. Still, I am hoping that Reform UK does well, because that will help to destroy the Conservative Party (one of the two main System parties) and so destabilize the System as a whole. Again, a good showing at the GE by Reform UK will help to shift the “Overton Window” a little towards my way of thinking. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Overton_window.
I myself have met a number of Ukrainians in the past and almost-present, from (in the 1990s) people at ministerial-ambassadorial level, right through to riff-raff parasites (in more recent years). Only one out of the whole lot was a decent person. I concede that that is purely anecdotal but, for what it may be worth, there it is…
Paris, like London, has effectively fallen. Macron is in (((the usual))) pocket, and merely presides over burgeoning chaos. Only Marine le Pen has a chance of getting on top of this (not that I agree with all of her policies and views— her father was better).

"Conservative voters are becoming more, not less, concerned about immigration. Between 2011 & 2020, they were 20-30 pts more likely to cite immigration as a top issue than Labour voters. Since 2020, that gap has grown to 50 pts. And those who have left the Tories for apathy are…
“Conservative voters are becoming more, not less, concerned about immigration. Between 2011 & 2020, they were 20-30 pts more likely to cite immigration as a top issue than Labour voters. Since 2020, that gap has grown to 50 pts. And those who have left the Tories for apathy are especially worried about it”. https://mattgoodwin.org/p/this-one-map-tells-you-a-lot-about
Many Labour voters are also “concerned” (horrified) by the migration-invasion of Britain, but are also “concerned”, perhaps more, about cost-of-living, housing, the slide in the standards of the NHS, education etc (though immigration impacts on all of those issues). Much depends on how questions are put, and whether people understand how different issues are in fact connected.
Every Conservative manifesto since just after Windrush has promised reduced immigration. The only changes introduced have been hate crime and DEI legislation to force us to keep quiet and tolerate their repeated betrayal.
Doesn't that just reflect the fact that the only people who still plan to vote Tory are the relatively small number of people who are very anti immigration of any kind? Also, how can you be very worried and apathetic? Doesn't seem to square
Look at that last tweeter. She is so typical of the pseudo-liberal shallow thinkers who so often think of themselves as educated and intelligent (and “up with the times”, of course). Lives in Newbury, Berkshire, a place scarcely impacted by the migration-invasion. Probably comfortably-off financially, as well. Typical msm type, on the face of it.
That tweeter claims that only a “relatively small number of people are very anti-immigration“. Well, recent polls indicate that about 35%-40% of the British or UK-resident population think immigration the most important politico-social issue facing this country, so on that basis alone immigration is a very great concern for well over a third of voters.
If you take out non-white UK residents, that would be well over 40%.
That, however, is not the end of the matter. The other 50%-65% are, most of them, still “concerned” about immigration (taking out non-white votes, maybe 75%?) but, when asked to prioritize, have put cost-of-living, NHS, and housing or other topics above immigration. Many would still say that mass immigration is in their top five issues.
I believe that I saw an opinion poll recently to the effect that about 80% (without the non-white votes maybe 90%), have at least fairly considerable concerns about the invasion and occupation.
In other words, tweeter Penny French/Penny Horwood is the one in the “small minority”…

Rees-Mogg does not seem to know the history either of England or of his own party. The Conservative Party does not go “back to the early 18th Century“, as Rees-Mogg says in that clip, but only to the 1830s, over a hundred years later.
It is true that a faction of the Whigs in the 1780s, friends of Pitt, are sometimes regarded as the ancestors of the Conservatives, but they were not so called at the time, which anyway was at least 50-60 years after the “early 18th Century” suggested by Rees-Mogg. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Conservative_Party_(UK)#Origins.

Jez Turner of the London Forum got a year in prison for merely making the semi-humorous suggestion that Jews in the UK should be expelled, as happened in the reign of Edward I (13th/14thC). Sven Longshanks (James Allchurch) got longer merely for running a free speech Internet “radio” podcast show.
Where are the priorities of the CPS and judiciary?
There are wider questions of course, such as whether care homes of all sorts should be (as they now are) cash cows for exploitative profiteers such as, in the past, Duncan Bannatyne (the Dragon’s Den know-all/know-nothing), or run and organized quite differently.
Wider still is the question of the general —and quite apparent— slide in standards since Britain became “multicultural”. We just do not need such backward populations in our European lands.

Despite that, Russia is winning, slowly, in Ukraine. It has the positional and strategic edge now. The Kiev regime can only decrease, as the Russian forces increase in both size and tactical skill.

“Banks are to be warned by ministers that they must protect free speech as increasing numbers of customers are having their accounts closed for holding allegedly controversial views.
The Chancellor Jeremy Hunt is reportedly ‘deeply concerned’ that lenders are blacklisting customers they are deemed to hold contrary political beliefs and social values.
I have blogged about this previously. Farage is, as the report notes, not alone. Repression on freedom of expression by banks (bank staff) has been a fact for a few years now. Laura Towler, Sam Melia, and Mark Collett, all of Patriotic Alternative, had their personal bank accounts closed. Straight political bias.
The only thing that will stop the trend to censorship and repression is if bank directors, managers etc are held accountable directly. The same goes for MPs, msm talking heads etc.
Incidentally, maybe 99% of the repression of freedom of expression in the UK comes from the malicious and manipulative Jew-Zionist element; certainly 90%+. See, for example, my own experiences, published at the top of this blog post. “They” are almost always the troublemakers, if you investigate the matter.
“Rosolino Palazzolo, a 44-year-old Sicilian farmer, has just finished picking the first pitanga (Surinam cherry) and acerola (Barbados cherry) on his farm in a tiny village called Terrasini, close to Palermo. He looks at the bright cherries in his hand, smiling proudly.
These fruits would normally be found growing along the equator but, in the past few years, climate change and year-round warm temperatures have led to a produce revolution in Italy’s deep south.
“Italy is turning into a tropical country. That’s why I also grow papayas, mangoes, passion fruit, baby bananas dubbed ‘bananito’, black sapote [a soft, orange-fleshed fruit], annona [custard apple] and even coffee and chocolate plants,” Mr Palazzolo [says].
“Tropical fruit is the future of Italy’s agriculture; it will save the country from the negative effects of rising temperatures and crazy, wild rainfalls.”
“The farmer still grows traditional fruits such as pears, citrus fruits and peaches, and vegetables such as tomatoes and courgettes, but in smaller quantities due to the tropical-like climate that has taken hold in Italy, particularly in the south.”

The only way to stop the epidemic of drug abuse in the West is to eliminate the users. Poppy cultivation cannot simply be banned everywhere, because opium derivatives are used for essential products such as morphine. India and Australia (Tasmania) are among the larger producers of legally-farmed opium poppies. Afghanistan accounts for about 80% of the illegal trade.

Typically misleading Sky News. In fact, it was not “the hottest June everin UK” (as seen in that tweet) but the hottest June since records began, which was only in 1884. As the report does say, previous hot-June records were reached in both 1940 and 1976. Even the headline, “hottest June on record“, though technically correct, is misleading, because many will assume that records go back to maybe 1700 or so, which is not the case on a reliable or consistent basis.
In historical terms, 139 years (1884-2023) is almost nothing.
We know that there were relatively warm periods previously in recorded European history, notably in the “Mediaeval Warm Period”, often estimated as having happened from about 950 AD to about 1250 AD: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medieval_Warm_Period.
There was no measurement of temperature then, but warmer climatic conditions can be inferred from forms of agriculture known to have been current, and from animal and plant remains, tree rings etc.
There are various theories as to why those historical periods were warmer than other times before and after, but one thing is for sure— it had little or nothing to do with “carbon emissions”. These were societies without very large populations (the Roman Empire at height may have had 60 million inhabitants), without the internal combustion engine, without industry except on a very small scale, and without the widespread use of coal: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coal#History.
Those two warm periods hosted higher levels of civilization and culture than the cooler periods on either side of each. Be careful what you wish for.

I agree with that tweeter about the sheer audacity, as I think I would term it, of the online fraud and “grifter” “Jack Monroe”.
That sheer gall is what really sets her apart from the numerous other online “grifters” around— her sheer criminal audacity, as well as her relentless use of about half a dozen tactics: pretending to be an “activist” for “the poor”; various mental and physical problems (useful to be able to blame critics for making them worse, though most if not all of them are non-existent); pretending to be short of money and/or living in poverty (rather than a house, possibly with a sea view, in a rather expensive Essex suburb); attaching herself to this or that group as expedient— LGBTQXYZ, disabled, “poor”, struggling single mother (despite her affluent family living in the same area), “socialist” (despite her false “feed a family for £20 a week” claims, “cosmopolitan” (despite rarely having been outside Essex), and displaying little or no obvious knowledge or education), etc.
Then there are the fake biographical details, such as having taken a leading role after or even during the Grenfell fire incident.
What is truly amazing is how many people, even some journalists, still believe all of her rubbish.
I still fail to understand why a black woman in Bristol is (I think) still facing Crown Court trial for allegedly having crowdfunded for legal costs to make a civil claim that (allegedly or apparently) never happened, and then having (allegedly) kept the monies raised for her personal use, but “Jack Monroe” raised monies similarly, supposedly to sue Lee Anderson MP, then did not even send preliminary formal complaint to Lee Anderson, and quite plainly ripped-off the said monies for her own uses, yet (so far) is not charged with anything. Why not?

His column this week is worth reprinting in detail:
“What is conservative about privatisation? What has it conserved? How has it helped the nation be stronger and safer?
Though there are many more, I will take just three examples.
Once, Britain had a first-rate nuclear power industry and could build its own atomic power stations. Then we privatised that and decades of experience and wisdom were scattered to the winds.
And now we have to get the Chinese, a despotic menace, to provide the nuclear energy we will so badly need, very soon, thanks to our mad dogma-driven destruction of coal-fired power stations.
Then come the railways, ripped to pieces so that pretend capitalists – sustained by far bigger subsidies than British Rail ever got – could trouser taxpayers’ money for providing a worse service than the one they replaced. In a bitter paradox much of the system is now run by foreign (nationalised) railway concerns. And this is a great British invention we gave to the world.
And now there is water. Thames Water, the vital strategic supply for the national capital and the economically crucial region around it, is now virtually bankrupt. Its boss quit suddenly last week. The official version is that the company may simply collapse under the weight of its debts, now £14 billion.
Under one of its recent owners, a foreign bank, £2.7 billion was taken out of the company in dividends, while debts rose from £3.4 billion to £10.8 billion. They have not since stopped rising, while Thames Water has become notorious for unfixed leaks and disgusting discharges of sewage into rivers.
You might think renationalisation is the obvious solution. But it will be hugely expensive, as the pension funds and other shareholders cannot simply be dispossessed without compensation. And here is the fascinating thing. You will not hear any significant voices in Sir Keir Starmer’s very Left-wing Labour Party calling for a full renationalisation.
The modern Left is keen to nationalise childhood and what used to be the family. It defies any attempts to reform the NHS or the schools for the benefit of the public. But it long ago abandoned its 1945 enthusiasm for state ownership of the commanding heights of the economy.
But that was in the lost days when Labour was led by patriots who wanted to make the country stronger. They have all gone.
And you might say that if Labour will not renationalise these failed private enterprises, what use is it? And I would agree with you.
If we want to undo this undoubted catastrophe, then rescue will not come from Sir Keir. Patriotic conservatives will have to nerve themselves to admit that the whole thing was a disastrous mistake and pledge themselves to put it right. If they do, they’ll be surprised at just how much support they will get.“
[Daily Mail]
Incidentally, while I concede that expropriation without compensation is contra international law, my inclination at this point is to say “and your point is?“…
“Senior ministers are expecting a “total clearout” of Tory MPs ahead of the next election, as party sources cited the experience of Boris Johnson’s premiership, the increasing stresses of the job and a continuing slump in the polls as reasons for a forthcoming bumper crop of departures.
More than 40 Conservative MPs have already announced they will step down at the next election – the most for a ruling party since the exodus of 100 Labour MPs ahead of the 2010 election in the wake of the expenses scandal and 13 years in government.
A senior party source said they were expecting “lots more” of the 352 Tory MPs to announce they were leaving as the election approaches. Insiders said the political chaos of recent years meant many had stayed in parliament much longer than they had intended. “There are loads more to come, there will be a total clearout,” said a senior party figure.”

“Half of the social housing in London is occupied by immigrant-led households. In my heavily council-owned neighbourhood, the students who flood the pavements on weekday afternoons are nearly all ethnically Asian or African.
Last week, a government impact statement estimated that within three years the bill for housing asylum seekers is on track to multiply by five times: to £30 million a day or £11 billion a year.
Indeed, one of the biggest pull factors drawing migrants from Calais is that France doesn’t provide uninvited visitors housing in the way that Britain does.
...asylum is a sideshow. It serves the function of the magician’s sleight of hand. The audience is distracted by one motion while the trick is slyly performed with another. Britain’s population is soaring from legal immigration.
Last year a Conservative government let 1.2 million people move to the UK, resulting in net immigration of 606,000. In a statistically meticulous report, Migration Watch calculates that if this same level of ingress is sustained, the UK’s population will rise to between 83 million and 87 million by 2046.
This will require between six and eight million more homes – the equivalent of 15 to 18 Birminghams. Apologies for the catastrophism, but that’s assuming the 606,000 annual influx remains constant, whereas the trend since Tony Blair came to power has been for net inward migration to keep rising.
Most new adult immigrants are of childbearing age, and Britain’s overwhelmingly non-European arrivals abundantly hail from cultures that favour larger families.
At current rates of immigration, between 263,000 and 313,000 homes would have to be built each year to accommodate rising population (in addition to the new homes a steady-state population requires, because buildings don’t last for ever). At current rates of immigration, between 263,000 and 313,000 homes would have to be built each year to accommodate rising population.
High immigration puts enormous pressure on the NHS – but we needn’t even go there.
Neither need we address the cultural implications of a foreign-born population already at 17 per cent of England and Wales – up from just over 13 per cent in only 2011.
Whatever your politics, this isn’t a matter of generosity and niceness. Even if you’re sympathetic with the plight of foreigners who merely want a better life, Britain doesn’t have the housing, much less the social housing, to accommodate the soaring population that results from current levels of immigration.“
[Daily Mail]
Down the line, a UK civil war, not a race war as such but a mixed social-racial-cultural-ideological war, is coming, inevitably now. Continuing mass immigration, and the consequences flowing from mass immigration, are a large part of the reason.

Back in the late 1980s, and up to about 1992, Barclays claimed that I owed them quite a lot of money. The Kiev regime is running out of soldiers. Eventually, Russia will win this, though the victory may well be bitter.

Reading that Daily Mail report, I notice that its Deputy Political Editor, one David Wilcock, does not seem to know the difference between “latter” and “last“. Typical of the times in which we live.
Naturally, I myself oppose both System parties, parts of the same corrupt and ideologically-wrong set-up.
It is a moot point as to whether it is better for social-nationalism that there be a weak System government (whether Lab or Con), or that one party (at present, Con) be all but wiped out. The former is probably the case, so that System politics is seen as unable to do anything to progress Britain, thus leading to support for social nationalism. At present though, it seems ever more likely that the Con party will be nearly annihilated at any general election, held in the neat year or so.

Very typical of our times: the System repressing freedom of expression not only by opposing individuals politically but also by attacking their personal, family, and business life. It happened to Laura Towler, Sam Melia, and Mark Collett of Patriotic Alternative. Their personal bank accounts were shut down, not by the State directly, not by the courts, but by the unilateral decision of each individual’s bank. Meaning by malicious individuals in those banks, sitting in positions where they had the executive power to do what they did.
Reverting to the pub golliwogs story, obviously Heineken and Carlsberg should both be boycotted, but that is mere gesture-politics, really.
This is no trivial story, but goes to the root of what was once, but is no more, a “free society”.
One has to ask, at what point does the repression contra freedom of expression in this society invite direct action against those repressing free speech?
“The most draconian assault on free speech in living memory is now law.
The Public Order Act was given royal assent and became law yesterday. Today, the Government will activate powers which prevent demonstrators from engaging in all kinds of activities.
[the Act] introduces Serious Disruption Prevention Orders (SDPOs), a kind of protester Asbo, which, if they’re imposed, can demand the individual report to authorities, or be banned from meeting certain associates, or be blocked from campaigning online.
The House of Lords did what it could to kick back. The original text of the bill allowed the courts to impose an SDPO even if the person had never been convicted of a crime, a truly unthinkable Orwellian proposition. The Lords killed it. They also killed a power to impose a 24/7 GPS monitoring tag on those who received a SDPO.”
[from the i newspaper]
Still, it is easy enough in these times for the political police, or malicious special-interest groups, such as the so-called “Campaign Against Antisemitism”, to conspire to get someone convicted on some trumped-up minor charge (the Jew-Zionist fanatics have been doing that for years, as with the Alison Chabloz prosecutions), after which that individual will now perhaps be made subject to one of these “Serious Disruption Prevention Orders”, which in their effect are not really any different to the way in which the Second Chief Directorate of the KGB, prior to about 1989, controlled and regulated minor dissidents in the Soviet Union.
Of course, the i newspaper people will have been all in favour of the repression exercised against the golliwog pub owners, while paying lip service to freedom of expression re. the new Public Order Act.
It is that hypocrisy that prevents so many “free speech” campaigns being effective, as with Toby Young and his “Free Speech Union”, which seems to take the view that free speech is all-important except when Jews complain about the free speech of those opposing Israeli or Jewish interests. “Vladimir Putin‘s ‘martyr complex’ is so out of control there is a risk he will embolden Russia to use nuclear and chemical weapons, a think tank has warned – amid rising concerns over the Kremlin’s ‘hysteric rhetoric’.
A new report published by the US think tank Heritage Foundation has highlighted a growing risk the Russian president will ‘make one of the most fateful decisions of the century’ in the face of his faltering invasion of Ukraine.
The study, named The US and Its Allies Must Understand and Respond to Russia’s Nuclear Threats, explores the actual likelihood that Putin will turn to using weapons of mass destruction.
Russian generals are understood to have discussed the use of tactical nuclear weapons in November, but is said to be cautious about the use of long-range weapons.
However, Russia has ‘increasingly portrayed the West as an enemy and appears to now accept tactical strategic nuclear weapons as an option for deterring further escalation of combat.
The country is understood to have between 1,000 and 2,000 nuclear weapons of varying sizes.
The use of such weapons is seen by Western nations as a last resort, but the report states Russia may turn to tactical nuclear weapons ‘early in the exercise or at mid-point’.
The report outlines four situations in which Putin would turn to nuclear weapons; pre-empting an attack on Russia; use against Russia; a threat, such as a cyberattack on Russia’s command-and-control systems; and an existential threat to Russia from conventional or nuclear weapons.
It says: ‘Russia has failed to defeat the Ukrainian military and is now focusing on forcing the capitulation of the civilian population by attacking electricity and water supplies.
‘It is therefore plausible that Russia will not only threaten to use, but actually use, a weapon of mass destruction to target civilian resistance in Ukraine.
‘Russia is focusing on destroying Ukraine’s power infrastructure, and with the nuclear industry now producing around 60 percent of pre-war power, a Russian attack on nuclear power stations to cut off electricity and create an improvised nuclear incident is a real prospect.’
It has also warned that the use of chemical weapons against metro stations in eastern Ukraine would be ‘devastating’.
The report cites the use of chemical weapons in Syria as evidence of Russia’s willingness.
It has also highlighted Russia’s efforts to ‘weaponise refugees’ and create mass flows of people into Western countries to the point they become ‘overwhelmed’.”
[Daily Mail]
The growing escalation by the NWO (NATO etc) is concerning; the flow of advanced weapons to the Kiev regime, together with ammunition, non-military aid, and cash.
If I had to guess, I should put the chance of the use of tactical nuclear weapons in Ukraine by the Russian side at about 30%, depending on how the war goes in the next few months. Any chance of Crimea being lost would make their use almost inevitable, but that raises the question of where such weapons might be used— on the battlefield, or against cities? Could Kiev be completely flattened? If so, what would be the NATO (US) response? All-out strategic response? Unlikely but not impossible. Limited but major conventional response? Maybe, but probably not. Nothing much? Possibly.
Russia would not hold back if subjected to serious or sustained Kiev-regime attack on its own unquestioned territory, eg in Central Russia.
As to a full strategic nuclear exchange between NATO and Russia in general, my view would be that that is at present no more than a 5% chance, but that is a very pessimistic assessment. Horses win at 20/1 all the time.
“‘I know I’m being sent to my death’: Ukrainian soldiers admit ‘we are just getting killed’ as they defend Bakhmut…and say Russia can already ‘taste victory’.
Ukrainian soldiers have painted a bleak picture of their on-going defence of Bakhmut, the small eastern city that has become the target of Europe’s bloodiest infantry battle since the Second World War.
Kyiv‘s soldiers have said they knew they were being sent to their deaths when they were given the orders to go to the city, and admitted they are ‘just getting killed’.
The Jews usually degrade, or even destroy, other societies over time. Now it seems that they are quite close to breaking up their own, Israeli, society, only 75 years after its foundation.

Would that, and the whole situation around that, have been seen or even conceivable in the 1980s, 1990s, even a decade ago? I think not. The West is not, mainly, being pressured by outside forces, but is falling apart internally. Maybe that is often the way of things, thinking of the Roman Empire, the gradual collapse of Sovietism etc.

Like a scene from Stalingrad in 1942/1943. War is hell.
Ukraine’s best soldiers are dead. The battle at Bakhmut will destroy another 10,000 Ukrainian soldiers. What is left of weaponry is in the hands of untrained conscripts.
The Russian Su-27 veered near the spy-drone to force it away as it was about to enter a zone the Russian military had declared off-limits due to the on-going military action. The US was obviously spying on troop movements below, to advise Kiev's forces.
It has been clear from the start, over a year ago, that the Americans have been feeding a large amount of direct battlefield intelligence from satellites etc to the forces of the Kiev regime. Had that not been so, the Russian forces would have had greater success in the field.
This comes close to the USA being a direct participant in the war. Madness.
US and European officials estimate 120,000 Ukrainian soldiers have been killed or wounded, however, Kiev keeps actual numbers secret. Poorly trained rookies "just drop everything and run," and a "shortage of ammo including shells and bombs"is a problem, said a Ukrainian official.
Forced diversity always weakens structure, design, organization…whatever you want to call a succeeding entity. Force individuals into the line….and what happens to the end result?
Unbelievable! Numerous disturbing videoes have been shown on world networks of Ukrainian war crimes, using human shields, targeting civilian homes and public places, and murdering captured POWs, and yet, Lindsey Graham cites Russia for war crimes to keep the war going…insane.
Business News: European banks saw their shares nosedive, Wednesday. Trading had to be halted for a number of bank stocks due to the steep losses. Shares of the embattled Swiss bank, Credit Suisse, hit another all-time low for a second day.
The finance-capitalist system is inherently unstable, and linked in such a way that (as with an uncontrolled reaction in a nuclear power station) panic a fear creates an unstoppable or almost unstoppable momentum.
Imagine though, if a banking sector collapse internationally co-incided with a European war beyond the Ukraine borders. That could be the trigger for a social-national and pan-European upsurge across the continent, enabling the extermination of evil powers and person, and also the foundation of a new and better society in the long term.
More thoughts around Russia and Ukraine
The missing factor on the Russian side, domestically, is real determination on the part of the ordinary population. That would change if any one of two things were to happen: a direct conventional-arms attack (by Ukraine or its Western quasi-allies and backers) on any major Russian city, or a large incursion onto unambiguously Russian territory by forces of the Kiev regime (or foreign forces).
Either of those two events would probably trigger a large scale and probably (tactical-) nuclear response by the Russian leadership.
Russia values Kiev as one of the birthplaces of the Russian state [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kievan_Rus%27], and I think that the leadership will try to capture the city intact, if possible, but if the Russian leadership felt that the Russian state itself were in existential peril, their response might be to destroy Kiev rather than face extinction as a state, as a people (a collection of peoples, but Russified and Russophone), and as a distinct European/Eurasian culture.

Ha ha! I can vaguely remember David Icke reading out the football results on — was it Southern TV? Wikipedia says BBC, so maybe BBC South— sometime around 1980 or so. Not that I would have been interested anyway.
I did not hear of David Icke again until 1990 or 1991 (looking at his Wikipedia entry, maybe the latter year), when I returned one time from the USA, and a friend mentioned as an example of something or other “David Icke“, and I replied “who?” (I had forgotten the name of the young man reading out the sports news a decade before). My friend laughed and said “you must be the only person in England who has not heard of David Icke!“. At that time, he was completely unknown in America.
A few years later, September 1994, I was invited as a birthday surprise by another friend to what turned out to be David Icke speaking at the Wigmore Hall in Marylebone, London, only a short taxi ride from where I then lived in Little Venice.
A quite good and very impassioned speaker, and dressed —if I recall aright— in his famous purple tracksuit, Icke was introduced by a remarkably attractive woman (about 35-40) who said that he was something like “the greatest thinker of our time“. I found that his speech did not quite live up to that billing, but was all the same interesting. My friend also bought me, as a birthday present, a signed copy of The Robot’s Rebellion from the stall in the foyer.
Icke used to follow my Twitter account (and I think that he was only following about 100-200 other people and organizations, so he must be rather perceptive!…). That ended when a pack of Jews had me expelled from Twitter in 2018. Icke himself was (as I had predicted would happen) expelled from Twitter later (by the same or similar Jews), but is now back: https://twitter.com/davidicke.
I would not endorse everything that Icke says or has said, but much of what he says is correct, and has been proven to be, e.g. the following:
“Why do we play a part in suppressing alternative information to the official line of the Second World War? How is it right that while this fierce suppression goes on, free copies of the Spielberg film, Schindler’s List, are given to schools to indoctrinate children with the unchallenged version of events. And why do we, who say we oppose tyranny and demand freedom of speech, allow people to go to prison and be vilified, and magazines to be closed down on the spot, for suggesting another version of history.
Of course the “usual” (((usual))) influence has contaminated Wikipedia, so its “facts” in respect of anything such as Jews, the “holocaust” farrago, and the Second World War, Hitler etc, are often not true facts at all.
The apparently intermittent dementia of the US President at such a time is more than concerning. Stupidity played a large part in the unwanted (by most people) start of the two really major wars of the 20thC; will actual dementia play a part in the start of the next such war?

Ironic. At present, they are certainly succeeding. I wonder whether they will like the eventual results (to them personally, as well) of their virtue-signalling “activism”?

In fact, Plymouth has a minority Conservative Party-ruled council. 25 Labour, 23 Conservative, 9 others.
The tree vandalism is appalling. I know Armada Way, which is a long and mainly traffic-free avenue connecting the central part of Plymouth to the famous Plymouth Hoe where Drake played bowls before defeating the Spanish Armada in the late 16thC.
The bit of Armada Way where I often was has thankfully been spared the axe, and is closer to the centre of the city. I often appeared at the County Court there (the building also contains the rather busy Plymouth Crown Court).
[the very 1950s (though actually built 1963) frontage of Plymouth County Court]
Plymouth could be a fantastic city, with its water frontage, and its rural hinterland, but somehow isn’t. It has problems of crime, drugs, drunkenness etc, and the local council is completely incompetent. I used to park at the very top of a multistorey car park quite near the court building. The Plymouth Council owned that car park. In about 6 years of parking there (about once every couple of weeks), the lift worked once, I think. Once out of 100-200 times. A small example but, I think, telling.
Plymouth Council is riddled with both freemasonry and Common Purpose, so often the nests of the mediocre. As with other councils with those characteristics, such as Birmingham, Plymouth Council is both incompetent and corrupt.
Incidentally, if anyone wonders why I always parked on the open top floor of that car park (about 10 storeys high) despite knowing that the lift would almost certainly be inoperative, well, there are a number of reasons. I like being able to park where there is always a spot, in a space almost always free of any other cars, not having to bother with other cars’ owners, people parking or leaving etc. In fact, about the only time I ever saw another car up there, it turned out to be that of a rather attractive lady barrister I knew slightly from court, Rebecca something-or-other. Secondly, I enjoyed the view. Thirdly, it is my long-held habit— I always park at the top of multi-storey car parks.
Disgraceful. Government, central and local, must step in, but it abdicated its responsibilities years ago. Buy to let and other similar forms of exploitation have to be stopped.

So the “Conservative” Party panel of Uxbridge and South Ruislip have reselected a part-Jew who was born in New York City, brought up in the USA and Belgium mainly (except when at Eton and Oxford), who did time (a few weeks) on a kibbutz in Israel, who describes himself as “Zionist“, and who has a long history of disgraceful and dishonest conduct in his personal life, as a journalist of sorts, as MP, as Cabinet minister, and finally as Prime Minister?
What am I missing? Not that he is some kind of great brain, as once was thought by easily-fooled people. As for real intellect and culture, forget it.
Still, at least it looks as if his time as MP is very limited, if the opinion polls can be believed:

Interesting to see. One of the worst aspects (culturally) of the Ukraine conflict is the ghastly music (I do not know what it is called), a kind of (?) Well-meaning silliness. Mikolaiv, or Nikolayev, will probably fall back under Russian control before very long; after that, I expect that Russian authorities will rebuild the city.
Incidentally, the Danish Ambassador and his government might be better advised to use their time, money, and power to prevent Denmark being further swamped by non-European savages.
I am willing to accept that the Ambassador’s own motives are probably reasonably good or charitable, but this is wrongheaded. Better to stop funnelling arms to the corrupt and vicious Jewish regime in Kiev, which merely prolongs a war Russia cannot lose.

Coming hard on the heels of a Twitter ban on Melia, Laura Towler, Mark Collett, and PA itself, it is hard not to see this as part of a co-ordinated attack.
When the BNP started to get real traction about 20 years ago, Nick Griffin and Mark Collett were charged with “incitement to racial hatred” by collusive CPS lawyers and politically-motivated police. They were both acquitted in the end, thanks to the good sense of the British jury (and were lucky that the jury in the case was British).
The motivation was because the BNP was just starting to really go places. The same may be true now, in respect of this matter. PA is starting to resonate with many in the betrayed British enclaves of, especially, Northern England. The System wants to squash that, and leave the British people, especially the poorer ones, defenceless against the alien migration-invasion and the emergent police state.
I see from the BBC report that at least some of the charges relate to making or distribution of electronic or real/paper stickers. Stickers?! Is that something with which “Counter Terrorism Policing North East” ought to be concerning themselves?
“A prison reform boss is herself behind bars tonight after subjecting her husband to 15 years of physical attacks and verbal humiliation which has left him with mental scars ‘that will last a lifetime’.
Sheree Spencer, 45, was jailed for four years for making husband Richard’s life a living hell with daily beatings and verbal attacks that left him cowering on the floor in the foetal position.
On one occasion she defecated on the floor and forced him to clean it up, and on another she beat him with a wine bottle so hard it permanently disfigured his ear.
She worked at the highest levels for HM Prison and Probation Service and bragged to friends that she had the ear of former Prime Minister Boris Johnson.
Spencer’s reign of domestic terror finally ended in June 2021 when the police were called to their family home by a concerned welfare worker.
Her arrest that day on suspicion of assaulting her husband opened a door into the hell he had kept private for his entire married life.
[Counsel] said that Spencer had suffered bouts of depression and anxiety throughout her life which she had ‘wrongly’ sought to self medicate by drinking alcohol.
The court was told that on some days she would drink as much as three bottles of wine.
Spencer could be heard sobbing as she was led away to the cells to begin her four year term.“
[Daily Mail]
That case is evidently an extreme example of a phenomenon often seen, perhaps especially in the UK, i.e. a woman trying to hold down a bigger job than that which she can handle, and trying to compete with male colleagues etc, while completely falling to pieces psychologically.
City of London law firms are a typical breeding-ground for that kind of craziness.
I liked the last sentence, by the way, about how that wicked woman cried as she was taken to the cells. Justice, however inadequate.
Sheree Spencer, the defendant, will be out in a couple of years, but (presumably) will now lose her (supposedly) “high-flying” Civil Service position. Also, one presumes that, while she is enjoying life in some women’s prison over the next two years, her husband will probably divorce her, and (as primary care-taker of their offspring) will be awarded the “family” house, very likely, or most of its value. She will therefore come out of prison to no house, no family, no job, and no future, aged 47 or 48.
“Blessed are they which do hunger and thirst after righteousness: for they shall be filled.” [Matthew 5:6].
All the same, I cannot understand why the husband did not simply take her down many years before. True, a man should not, in principle, hit a woman, even (arguably) in self-defence, but every rule has its exceptions, and a woman who behaves as that bitch did deserves no misplaced cartoon chivalry.
How true it is that “there are more things in Heaven and Earth…than are dreamt of in your philosophy“…[Shakespeare, Hamlet].
“Britain’s Covid lockdown architect once warned that up to 200million people could die worldwide during a bird flu pandemic.
Professor Neil Ferguson, tasked with forecasting coronavirus-style scenarios in case the pathogen mutates to spread among humans easier, made the dire prediction in 2005 when fears of an avian influenza crisis were similarly high.
His original apocalyptic conclusion that up to 500,000 Brits could die if nothing was done to stop the spread of Covid spooked then-PM Boris Johnson into lockdown.“
[Daily Mail].
Many another society would have put the bastard up against a wall.
“Recent polling shared with the Guardian by HnH [the misnamed Jew-Zionist snoop and provocateur group, “Hope not Hate”] underlines the potential traction for such conspiracy theories among the public. As many as 34% of people claim to definitely or probably believe that “there is a single group of people who secretly control events and rule the world together”.
“Young people…More than a fifth (22%) of 18- to 24-year-olds thought it was “definitely” or “probably true” the official account of the ‘Holocaust’ was a lie…”

Cut off money, arms, and ammunition to the Zionist regime in Kiev, and the whole war or conflict will or would wind down fairly rapidly. Weeks not months. Russia will or would then occupy Kiev, Ukraine east of the Dnieper and also the Odessa littoral. The Jew Zelensky and his cabal, if still alive, can be allowed to go to Lvov (from where he will or would rule only parts of Western Ukraine before, probably, decamping to either Florida or Tel Aviv). Rebuilding can then start.

When Russia invaded Ukraine a year ago, it should have been “a Blitzkrieg for the sake of mercy” (as I blogged at the time): swift, overwhelming, and effectively bloodless, with little or no damage to the lives and homes of the Ukrainian population.
The inefficiency of the Russian Army, General Staff, and GRU ruined it. That was, if you like, “Russia’s fault”, but the continuation and escalation since then has been and is the fault of the Western powers (aka “NWO”) and their Jewish puppet regime in Kiev, figureheaded by the Jew Zelensky.
However, we are where we are. For the sake of the future, Russia has to win this now, however bitter any “victory” will be, for both sides.

When Jews started to flood into the then British-ruled Palestine, after the First World War, they were a small minority. In the period immediately before the Second World War, they were still a minority, but since the establishment of the Jewish state of Israel in 1948, the Jews have not only become the majority, but have gradually taken over most of the land of Palestine; by war, by terrorism, and now more by gradual encroachment supported by Israeli law and typical Jewish misuse of law.
In fact, if you include both Israeli territory and the Palestinian territories of the West Bank and Gaza, the Jewish population is not far in excess of the numbers of the Palestinian population(s), but of course the Jews control most of the levers of force and coercion. See also: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palestinians
The overall pattern has happened in muted form elsewhere. In Germany, particularly in the 1920s; also in the UK, mainly since the mid-19th Century and acceleratedly so since the 1930s. In the USA and other countries as well.
What matters is not the relative size of population(s), but rather the level of control exercised; not only over military power directly, but including that exercised over law, the legal professions, the mass media, money, and politics.

The NHS, though a good idea in principle, and even in practice (at times, perhaps often, even today), is not now providing a proper overall service. Needs root and branch reform.
The system known as “healthcare”, inc. NHS should be more intelligently linked to “adult social care” and “elderly care”, to provide a properly-working service for an ageing British population.
As for nurses, naturally I support them having a decent income, but they will —and rightly— lose much public support if they put their own financial interest (however justified) above compassion and care for helpless and suffering people.

When I lived for a little while in the Caribbean (about 22-23 years ago), I met an American naval officer on vacation with his wife. I never asked him his rank (or the name of his ship), but I presume at least a naval captain, maybe higher, in view of the fact that he commanded a U.S. Navy aircraft carrier.
A pleasant little man, who looked a bit like the Penguin in the 1960s Batman TV series, he had an air of unstressed command. Not exactly “commanding”, still less imperious or contrived; he just radiated a kind of urbane manner that conveyed that he knew that anything that he did order to be done would be done.
I asked that naval officer over a drink how on Earth he carried the responsibility of something like docking a ship of such enormous size, and he replied rather modestly that “ah, I have people to do things like that for me“…
I happened to see this menu from the House of Commons:
The MPs almost literally have their snouts in the trough, and at heavily-subsidized prices— at the same time as so many people are going hungry and (once the weather cools, from this coming weekend) cold as well.
The House of Lords offers its members similar if not better fare, also at rock-bottom prices. A friend of mine often dined there, though many years ago, and told me all about it. In those days, roast salmon, with all trimmings, was about £2 or £3, I think.
In fact, it is reminiscent of the old “Kremlyovsky Payok” (“Kremlin ration”), a system of both free and heavily-subsidized food rations originating in the 1920s, and which expanded under Stalin to become a whole system of (some) free food, and special shops with either subsidized or generally unobtainable food and other items, sourced both from within the Soviet Union and from outside. Ground coffee, for example.
The Kremlyovsky payok was the highest level, awarded to members of the Politburo and other very high-ranking persons, but there were more modest yet still worthwhile “rations” (and other items) available to anyone who was a member of the “nomenklatura“, such as GRU officers down to the rank of major.
In Kazakhstan, where I lived in 1996-1997, Army personnel still got a payok of that sort at that time; I recall that my “landlord”, a Russian colonel in the Kazakhstan Army (ex-Soviet Army; I became very friendly with him, his wife, and their youngest child, who all lived not far from me) received a large sack of grain and a lot of tinned goods regularly.
That system extended (in Soviet days) to —in effect— private hospitals, vacation “sanatoria” (hotels with a health and fitness aspect), and access to foreign (and usually better) domestic equipment such as refrigerators, ovens, washing machines etc.
A few extremely valued people (such as Mikhail Sholokhov, the writer of The Quiet Don, aka Quiet Flows the Don— https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/And_Quiet_Flows_the_Don; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mikhail_Sholokhov), and the holder of numerous awards, including 6 awards of the Order of Lenin and 2 awards of Hero of Socialist Labour, were even allowed “open bank accounts”, which meant that they could go to a bank and be given effectively any amount of money they wanted (Soviet roubles only, of course), whenever they liked.
Continuing facemask nonsense
Four Covid mRNA doses, recently recovered from Covid, walking outdoors away from people. For the love of science and humanity, please remove the mask.pic.twitter.com/9vNqE57Iir
Biden has at least the excuse that he is, or is said to be, somewhat demented.
I went to Waitrose yesterday evening (it being the only actual supermarket for miles), and noticed a woman walking to her car in the car park— alone, in the sun and a slight breeze, yet masked.
For some people, wearing one of those stupid masks or muzzles has become a kind of “I can prove that I really exist” virtue-signal, or a flag of allegiance to some sort of fake communitarian “clap for the NHS” club.
Those cranks must have hated it when shops were allowed to reopen without subjecting their customers (that’s customers, not prisoners) to the whole soulless and pointless rigmarole of “social distancing”, the facemask nonsense —“would you pull up your mask please!“— and the rest of it all, monitored by shop staff suddenly given petty power (but who now have to return to stacking shelves and helping the shoppers rather than corralling them).
The loonies or semi-loonies still wearing their (completely useless) facemasks remind me of the Japanese soldiers on Pacific islands, still fighting the war in 1980, not having understood that it finished in 1945, and then realizing (?) that they had just been wasting their time doing something rather stupid.
The result of a number of factors, among which are mass immigration, births to non-whites (causing an increase of maybe 10 millions in the past two decades), and the politically-driven sell-off of local authority homes (from the mid-1980s onward).

The USA backed a violent putsch which overthrew Ukraine’s lawfully elected ( and non-aligned) government, and replaced it with an unconstitutional pro-NATO regime. Call me old-fashioned, but I regard that as an act of aggression. So would you, if Russia did the same. https://t.co/IklugSqJFF
As for the USA, whatever one might say in mitigation, it has attacked, or bombed, or engaged in warfare in, a huge number of countries even since 1945, including Korea, Vietnam, Cuba, various other countries of Latin America, Grenada, Iraq, Libya, Afghanistan, Lebanon etc.
I have no idols, sweetie. I am a Protestant Christian and worship only God. Do you know any real history? https://t.co/CrjtIQ2Zee
The tweeter “@ThePFofJudea”, as Hitchens implies (I think) has apparently confused William Joyce, aka “Lord Haw Haw” [shown above, when young, in the 1920s or early 1930s], with Adolf Hitler, merely because Joyce also sports a small moustache. Note the slashed face, a result of a politically-motivated attack on Joyce in 1924.
Actually when FDR and Churchill appeased the murderous and authoritarian Stalin in 1945, none of this happened. Appeasement secured 50 years of prosperity and peace in Western Europe, and Stalin’s regime eventually fell, mainly because it could not match that prosperity. https://t.co/Z7t0LgT2wm
We even gave him Poland, supposedly the reason we went into the war in the first place.

“No-one can rule guiltlessly” [Saint-Just].
1/2 @amb8819 You need to go back to the Wolfowitz Doctrine and to Brzezinski's Grand Chessboard. Wolfowitz believed that any resurgence by Russia must be smashed, Brzezinski that if Ukraine was seduced from neutrality to NATO membership , Russia would effectively be destroyed. https://t.co/7GKyUa5lm5
2/3 You also need to read Kagan here https://t.co/ykDvkKDMLJ , in which he admits Russia was provoked. Probably the cranking up the Ukraine crisis after 2014 was a response to Russia blocking US policy in Syria. https://t.co/7GKyUa5lm5
3/.3 @amb8819 It may make you *happy* to assume I am a defender of the invasion, but it won't help you understand anything, as I not only despise the invasion as an act, but regard it as a stupid mistake. He had a choice. I wonder who was happiest when he took it. https://t.co/7GKyUa5lm5
Putin had no real choice, but his decision must have assumed, evidently mistakenly, that Russian military intelligence (the GRU) and the Russian Army (both on the ground and in the General Staff or, to use an old term, the Stavka) was up to the job, competent. Not so, it seems to have been proven.
This is a potentially existential crisis for Russia as anything purporting to be an independent state, let alone a regional power (the “superpower” label having been lost except in terms of nuclear weapons).
Russia cannot lose this war. By that, I mean that Putin cannot afford to lose this war.
The Russian side is now proposing peace talks. The Ukrainian or Kiev-regime side has refused, saying that only the “return” of Crimea (historically, usually part of Russia rather than Ukraine) and the Donbass etc can be the precondition for talks.
Russia will never accept that Crimea, especially, and its almost entirely Russian population, be given , or “returned”, to the Kiev government.
The present situation is worrying even for those who live far from Ukraine. There is a mob, of the malicious and/or idiotic, baying for Russian blood, and for war with Russia, in effect. I wonder what a Venn diagram would look like if it contained that Twit-mob and also the similar mobs who wanted war with Iraq and then Afghanistan?
If the present limited “Ukrainian” counter-offensive in the south succeeds, and the Kherson pocket or bulge is eliminated, Russia may start to attack, more heavily than heretofore, Odessa, other cities, and Kiev itself.
There is a danger of huge escalation here. The Kiev regime is being supplied with more and more and better, more powerful, arms. Not only arms but money, food, medicines etc. Supplied by the West, but mainly from the USA and UK.
Without those arms, without that money, the failed state of Ukraine could not exist at all. It has almost no exports, its industrial areas are inoperative, or ablaze, or under Russian control. Millions of its wealthier and/or better-educated citizens are in exile. Within Ukraine, the Zelensky regime has shot or imprisoned opponents without trial, or after neo-Stalinist quick “trials”; it has banned trade unions and all opposition parties, and there is no freedom of speech.
In short, Zelensky, like his shambolic and corrupt “government”, is a “monkey on a stick”. This is a Punch and Judy show.
Having said that, if it is true that Russia’s forces are faltering, if it is true that Russia’s supply of heavy weapons to the war is slowing, then that may leave Putin and his top people with an incentive to escalate the war beyond anything yet seen. That in turn might provoke a NATO response. If that were to happen, European civilization, in Europe, itself might be in peril.
Pubs, fish and chip shops and the rest are being driven to the wall on purpose. The destruction is intentional. However hard to accept – it's the simplest explanation.
Look at the UK. Ten years ago, even five years ago, look on, eg, Rightmove, and you saw numerous English or Scottish country estates for sale, some with thousands of acres. Now? Nothing, pretty much. I blogged about this previously, even a few years ago.
Cash is being phased out. It’s a control mechanism. Once cash goes, the citizen is reduced to complete and utter dependence on his little plastic cards. If they are restricted or taken away, by whoever controls the system, the individual is immediately an outcast, without money, without any way (short of theft, robbery, or begging) even to access food.
When I last visited Hong Kong, in 2006, there was a regional technical problem with credit and debit cards. None worked for several days. Fortunately, I was already in hotel accommodation (the Sheraton, Kowloon) and had several thousand US dollars in cash as well, but what if a similar situation occurs, and you have no cash (because cash does not exist), and what if you are not in accommodation for whatever reason? You sleep on a park bench, and forage for whatever food you can find.
Do not imagine that the banks are some kind of unbiased arbiter or supplier of services. They may be, most of the time, but even now we see examples of people with “the wrong views” being cut off from banking services. It happened a while ago to Sam Melia, Laura Towler and Mark Collett of Patriotic Alternative. I am not talking even about the PA official bank accounts. No, I refer to the individual, personal bank accounts of those people.
You can see the way UK television drama has gone, even detective stories such as Endeavour, Grantchester etc. A kind of “we must have half the characters black, brown, other non-white, or at least gay” ethos.
Masking likely represents the most ambitious public health intervention in history.
An intervention we wanted all people: 1) to do multiple times per day 2) every single day 3) across a wide range of environments 3) with no clear end in sight
Mikhail Gorbachev, who rose to power in the Soviet Union and set in motion a series of revolutionary changes that transformed the map of Europe and ended the Cold War that had threatened the world with nuclear annihilation, has died in Moscow. He was 91. https://t.co/hYeovyISVapic.twitter.com/ExXIlukRl6
Gorbachev's foreign policy vision in his final years was not pro-Western
Gorbachev condemned NATO expansion, U.S. imperialism and Germany's hegemonic ambitions in Europe. He backed the Crimea annexation but warned against a spiral of tensions that would lead to nuclear war
Exclusive: A spy working for Canadian intelligence smuggled Shamima Begum and her two friends from Bethnal Green into Syria and Britain later conspired with Canada to cover up its role, according to explosive news claims @thetimeshttps://t.co/ewmSuvlk0a
Interesting that this alleged fact should emerge now, just as her family and friends, with other supporters, are trying to get her back to the UK. Is someone trying to provoke her assassination?
Not that I want her back in the UK. I do not want any of them here in the first place.
@rhhasdall. My main concern is to begin discussion in this country as to whether we have a national interest in prolonging and sustaining a Russian-American war in Ukraine. My own view is that we do not, but we do have strong reasons to support a peace initiative. https://t.co/bP7Oeijyai
