The Jewish/Israeli lobby in the UK, which is effectively an offshoot of Israel, has been trying to close down Al Jazeera for years. “UK Lawyers for Israel”, “Campaign Against Antisemitism” and the rest. All part of the same basic or overall “operation”— a Hydra-headed monster.

Even some Zionist Jews, both inside and outside Israel, are appalled at the Israeli brutality in Palestine (in this case in the West Bank).

Not everything in Israel is evil, but when Israel is destroyed, as it surely will eventually be destroyed, almost all the non-Jewish world will breathe a sigh of relief.

All that Macron could do would be to repress the Jew-Zionist lobby in France itself, but I doubt that he would do that, looking at who put him into power in the first place. See:

The time may be coming when the people will have to take matters into their own hands, at least temporarily.

This is what happens when you fail to clear out a backward culture, which has no right to be in any part of Europe.

Jew (Israeli) casualties during the Hamas incursion into southern Israel of 2023— about 1,000-1,500, many of which were members of military or security organizations, and many of which were killed in fact by Israeli forces operating a scorched earth policy.

Palestinian Arab casualties in Gaza killed or badly wounded as a result of Israeli/Jewish retaliation and revenge— about 200,000, mostly civilians, mostly women and children, many shot for evil sport by Jewish soldiers, or simply killed to clear a whole urban area. That, plus deliberate starvation, cutting off of water supply, deliberate withholding of medical supplies, bombing and complete destruction of hospitals.

The disproportion alone is staggering.

If what the Israeli Jews are doing in Gaza are not war crimes, then the term is meaningless; same goes for “genocide”.

This is how standards across the board in society start to slide. Not dramatically. Gradually. A gradual acceptance of the inferior. You see it everywhere now. Academia, including both universities and schools. The Bar. The Church of England. MPs (of all parties in Parliament). “Journalism” (newspaper scribbling). Administration generally, both public and private.

Incidentally (and, today, typically), the Mail’s report is only semi-literate. Look at the second paragraph/sentence for further proof, if more were needed, that the 20-something scribblers now called “journalists” cannot write English properly. That sentence makes it seem that the woman decided to go to the zoo to feed herself to the lions!

That is akin to what happened to me about a year ago. A uniformed policeman came to my door and confronted me with a print-out of some alleged tweets, while explaining that there was “no need to worry” because the matter had already been “NFA’d” [“No Further Action”].

The tweets were not very literate, very much not similar to my own writing style, and seemed to be a criticism of someone (as far as I could see, unnamed).

The policeman would not let me examine the alleged tweets in detail once I had explained to him, in terms, that I had once had a Twitter account but that Jews had had me expelled in 2018, and that the last time I had tweeted anything was therefore in 2018. In other words, the alleged tweets could not have been from me.

I presumed at the time that that incident had been triggered by yet another false accusation or complaint by some Jew, as has happened to me several times over the past decade or so. I still think so, but heard no more from the police about it.

So that policeman had completely wasted his time coming to see me about alleged tweets which were anyway obviously not unlawful (and therefore had been binned as requiring No Further Action by the police). So why even talk to me?

Incidentally, I was unable to see my name anywhere on that document, in the brief seconds when I looked at it. I have no idea why the police even thought that it had anything to do with me (assuming that they did in fact think that).

It is hard to overestimate the influence of Frank Lloyd Wright on American domestic architecture in particular. I once had a girlfriend in Tampa, Florida, who lived only one or two roads away from one of his more ordinary houses built for private clients.

Genuine humanitarian aid to Ukrainian families is acceptable, despite the fact that it also, to some extent, helps the Kiev-regime war effort. Humane behaviour needs to survive in war.

You can see in that Scandinavian Airlines System [SAS] TV ad that the destruction of people feeling good about themselves, their history, their culture, is not confined to Britain, France, Germany, but is still being pushed in Sweden, Denmark etc. Who is behind it, ultimately? Three guesses (“them”)…

Thus we see the constant pro-immigration propaganda across Europe.

People are fighting back in various ways, sometimes via political parties and elections, sometimes via direct action, and even on the individual level, as we saw in Norway quite a few years ago.

Maybe, but Reform is currently running somewhere between 28% and 34%. That is really all it needs to triumph, in the absence of one really strong opposing party. At present, the Labour Party is running between 22% and 25%, while the once-great Conservative Party languishes somewhere below 20%, most recently 15%.

It may well be that the younger voters, the teens and twenty-somethings, will not much favour Reform, overall, but many of that age group do not vote, a trend likely to stay in place while the System parties are so uninspiring or even despised.

If Reform has a ceiling of 35% or even 30% (and we do not know as yet whether that will prove to be the case), that will probably still be enough to give Reform a Commons majority, looking at where the other main/System parties are.

It seems to me unlikely that the Conservative Party can ever recover, because its demographic and ideological bases are eroding daily. To get from 15%-19% public support, where it now is, to the —at lowest— 28% which might give it a Commons majority, is unlikely. Indeed, under Nigerian chancer Kemi Badenoch, its share of potential general election votes seems more likely to decline than to increase.

As to Labour, despised, held in contempt by many, but with support still from the ethnic minority blocs, and from the public service employees, particularly NHS people, who alone number in the hundreds of thousands:

That is the NHS in England, i.e. excluding Scotland, Wales, Northern Ireland.

A significant voting bloc, and mostly voting Labour.

Labour is currently running at public support of around 20%-25%, but might be able to recover to 30% or higher, in principle. It won the 2024 General Election on only 33.7%, so the devil is, as it often is, very much in the detail.

If both Labour and Reform were around 30%, then both would probably end up with 250-300 seats. Hung Parliament.

At present, though, Reform is still the only game in town, and the others are scrabbling to catch up in a societal situation where nothing seems to be improving for the voters.

Starmer-stein, a little man trying to play it big on the world stage. Meanwhile, the UK is gradually collapsing.

To my mind, it is not whether some form of untidy, messy social/civil/racial/cultural war will break out in the UK, but when, and what form or forms that conflict might take.

The Kiev regime is losing, effectively has lost, on the battlefield, but the BBC, Sky News etc are still feeding their viewers rubbish from paid pseudo-experts (in Kiev, London, Washington) who are still pushing the line that it is Russia that is losing and cannot continue.

Interesting. I knew that barrister and (sacked) part-time judge, Simon Myerson (of Leeds and Manchester) had been a witness in the case, and that the trial judge disbelieved his evidence (or discounted it as having been worthless) but had no idea that he was one of what looks now like a conspiratorial gaggle of Jews who apparently were “advising” the three losing defendants.

Newbon, of course, killed himself when he realized that his family home was on the line for having lost the libel case. He had concealed everything from his wife, too.

Sounds as though Myerson should probably be reported to the Bar Standards Board (not for the first time, I believe).

…and that is why I am hoping that Reform do well in the next few years; because when they form a government, and it fails because (it will be) too pro-Jewish lobby, too pro-Israel, and not nearly radical or social-national enough, then a real social-national movement can arise and, the “Overton Window” having shifted, take the people with it.

Much of a muchness with other recent polls. Reform with 375-400 MPs and a large Commons majority, Labour with about 122 MPs, and the Con Party left utterly irrelevant with about 27 MPs, making it only the 4th, possibly 5th-largest, party (after Reform, Lab, LibDems, and possibly the SNP).

I suppose some tyrannical leaders might be tempted to covertly eliminate them.

It seems that, not satisfied with having seized, or tricked the Arab Palestinians into giving up, 97% of the land of pre-1947 Palestine, the Jews now want the remaining 3% for Jewish Lebensraum.

There is now effectively nothing left of the original, or even original post-WW2 (1945-1989), Labour Party.

The irrelevance of the Conservative Party is plainly seen there. Despite Starmer-stein having a disapproval rating of 60%, and Kemi Badenoch having one of “only” 35%, when it comes to positive approval, the two are both down in the trough of public esteem: Starmer 23%, Kemi Badenoch 24%. Indeed, fewer people actively disapprove of Kemi Badenoch (35%) than disapprove of Farage (41%), but when it comes to positive approval, Farage, on 37%, easily outpaces Kemi Badenoch’s 24%.

41% of people are unsure as to whether they approve or disapprove of Kemi Badenoch, a sure sign that she has made little impression on the public (and it can be seen that what impression she has made is mostly not favourable). By contrast, only 22% of the public are “unsure” about Farage— people either approve or disapprove of him, in almost equal numbers.

People are even more sure about Starmer. Only 17% are “unsure” about him, but 60% disapprove of him.

Quite simple. 14 years of total maladministration and misgovernment finished the Conservative Party with most of the electorate, though 3 out of every 12 voters who voted (3 out of every 20 eligible) still voted Con in 2024 (Labour had 4 out of 20 or 4 out of 12). Most of those Con voters were over 60 years of age, many over 80. They have mostly now gone to Reform UK, and many are expiring daily by reason of old age etc. The next general election may not be until 2029; how many habitual Con voters will have expired by then?

The young (anyone under 30, indeed the vast majority under 40) will not be voting Con. Most of the ethnic minority (rapidly becoming majority) voters prefer Labour or other parties. So who is left?

Once again, the “snake in the grass” here is the Jewish-Zionist/Israel lobby in the UK, which has most of the politicians of the two main System parties (and Reform, too, it seems) in its pocket. The (((lobby))) wants many many organizations banned or prosecuted; it wants many individuals prosecuted, too (they have already tried it with me: see below:

Strange that that former Conservative Party tweeter, Fiona-Natasha Syms (her ex-husband was Conservative Party MP for Poole until 2024; he lost by a mere 18 votes; and she worked for him, paid generously out of her ex-husband’s MP expenses) thinks that (of all people) Yvette Cooper is to be admired. Nein danke! Yvette Cooper is a would-be dictator, very dishonest, a moneygrubber and expenses cheat (as was her husband, Ed Balls), and a “refugees welcome” dimwit to boot! Also, like all of Starmer-stein’s Cabinet —except a few servile Muslims— a member of Labour Friends of Israel.

Short-sighted Con voters in some parts of England have, in the past couple of decades, shown themselves willing, in my view very wrongly, to vote for non-Europeans such as Kemi Badenoch as their constituency MP, so long as the right party label is affixed. Putting promises of low taxation etc above racial or national pride. That has led to the brainless Conservatives imagining that the country as a whole will vote, in effect, for a party led by a non-white MP. Very misguided. Look at Sunak.

True, that was not the only factor that sank the Conservatives at GE2024, but it was one important factor. Sunak was, in that sense, more “electable” than Kemi Badenoch. After all, people look at Indians en masse and see business, at least some organizational skills and, in Sunak’s case, a UK upbringing. Added to that, the vast wealth of his wife’s family and so his own wealth, meaning that, whether rightly or wrongly, he is at least perceived to be “in it” not for personal money reasons. Compare that to Kemi Badenoch, a loudmouth careerist carpetbagger.

Most Brits, not unfairly, look at Nigeria and see chaotic maladministration, corruption even worse than that of India, and nothing at all to admire. Kemi Badenoch was not even brought up in the UK. Her parents made sure that she was born in London, so that (under the law as it then was, in 1980) she could later claim a British passport, but she was only in the UK for a few days before being returned to Nigeria. She lived there and in the USA until at least age 16.

For those who say that Kemi Badenoch is scarcely a typical Nigerian, well, yes. As F. Scott Fitzgerald said, in effect (not an exact quotation), “the rich are different from you and me; they have more money“.

Yes, Kemi Badenoch is not a typical Nigerian. I have known a few like her, such as the Nigerian princess with whom I was acquainted in the mid/late 1980s, and whose (much older) husband was a Federal High Court judge in Nigeria. However, the basic model is still there, not far under the surface. (if anyone is interested, that Nigerian princess was shot dead in her luxury apartment in Lagos , nearly 30 years ago; Lagos is a rather dangerous place).

I just cannot believe that the British public will vote for a Prime Minister who is a Nigerian woman. The very idea, at least to me, is utterly farcical.

When you add to that her abrasive personality etc, you see how disastrous Kemi Badenoch is for the Conservative Party, which looks increasingly irrelevant.

No, don’t resign. Stay in place, dragging down your double salary (MP + ministerial) plus expenses, and making money out of being an exploitative private landlady. That will help to sink Starmer-stein’s Labour Friends of Israel government even faster.

Anyone who has had to deal with the chaotic crazy mess called “HMRC” will be familiar with the term “Kafka-esque“. I am glad to say that my interaction with them ceased some 13-14 years ago (in relation to matters now 20-40 years in the past). I found it hard to believe, at the time, that such chaotic maladministration could exist in this country.

In fact, HMRC reminded me slightly of the 1950 comic novel, The Way Backwards.

Translates to about 414 Reform UK MPs, 94 Labour, 54 LibDems, 37 SNP, Cons 21.

That would be a Commons majority greater than that of Starmer in 2024, and almost as great as that of Blair in 1997. Prior to that, very large majorities were achieved in the early 1930s, in the 1920s, and by Earl Grey’s government of 1832. All times of sweeping change.

Of course, 32% of the popular vote is not huge in historical terms, but is about what Starmer-Labour gathered-in in 2024. It hardly matters that your vote is “only” 32% if your main opponents are getting 20% and 16%.

War is hell, even when unavoidable. May victory attend the forces of Russia in Eastern Ukraine, and be the forerunner of genuine peace.

Incidentally, I see that lying perjurer Gideon Falter, the head or figurehead of the “Campaign Against Antisemitism”, was allowed to publish a fairly long opinion piece in the Daily Telegraph. The horrible little bastard had the sheer gall to write about the small number of Israeli hostages held by Hamas in Gaza that they now look like Jews starved in German camps at the end of the Second World War.

That at a time when an Arab Palestinian population in the many hundreds of thousands, including huge numbers of civilians (many of them children), is being deliberately starved to death in Gaza by the (Israeli) Jews, a para-military campaign backed to the hilt by (non-Israeli) Jews such as Falter.

As a matter of fact, I should not be surprised if Falter, effectively an agent of influence of a foreign power, Israel, is not an Israeli passport-holder himself, perhaps a dual Israel/UK passport-holder (maybe even a triple passport-holder (Israel/UK/Austria).

I accept that the hostages in Gaza should be released, but the Palestinians have been pushed to the genocidal brink, and have few chips to play.

Israel should also release its own prisoners, of course. Some of them have also been brutalized and starved.

I once stayed overnight at Mappin’s hotel, a Victorian castle hotel at Tintagel, North Cornwall, the one-time seat of King Arthur. In late 2001; December 2001. It was not really run properly as “an hotel” should be; I believe that, since then, it has been taken in hand by Mappin, the heir to a very considerable fortune (think Mappin & Webb, the jewellers). I just read today that he bought it in 1999.

When I was there, it was hugely atmospheric, like a decayed private castle, an effect emphasized by the fact that my wife and I were the only guests, and the staff, in the evening at least, consisted of a not terribly welcoming middleaged Englishman and his (possibly Austrian) wife. I recall that our rather cold room (I think it may have had a four-poster, and an ancient bar fire set into the wall) cost £200 a night, quite expensive in the money of 24 years ago. Akin maybe to £400+ today.

I well recall, after eating informally at a local pub in the nearby village (no restaurant open then at the Castle), being seated before a Hollywood-film-scale blazing fire in the Great Hall, and being served a double or triple Irish whiskey, the absence of other guests making it seem as if we were in our own home (or castle).

In the morning, a very pleasant and very rickety old retainer-woman served breakfast in a long gallery, her tiny grandchild hanging onto her skirts, as the Cornish winter waves crashed onto the rocks below, as in Rebecca.

“Ukraine” (Kiev regime) “fighting until it wins the war” is now impossible. It always was, even if “victory” means merely taking over the oblasti of Crimea, Lugansk, and Donetsk (rather than any capture of the territory of pre-2014 Russia or destruction of the Russian armies in the field).

Reality has now been accepted by the vast majority of Ukrainians, and I expect that a majority would now accept Russian rule over all Ukraine east of the Dnieper.

Mendelsohn, Newbon (deceased), and Cantor.

One of the surviving defendants who lost that case, a Jew called Cantor, may now lose his home by reason of the negligence of his lawyers, particularly the self-promoting know-nothing, Mark Lewis.

From outside (and I know little more than I have read or seen), it seems to me that the defendant Cantor is going to have to sue Mark Lewis and Patron Law at least, in negligence, or lose the equity value in his home.

“On 12 August 1944 Wildermuth became “Fortress Commandant” of Le Havre in France. This came as a disappointment; he had hoped for a corps. Before taking his new command, however, he swore the ‘customary oath’ to Hitler: to defend the fortress to the last man, and only to surrender with the authorisation of his superiors.[3] This oath to Hitler was, broadly speaking, respected by Wildermuth. At his interrogation by the British in January 1945, he stated that his aim had been to deny the Allies the use of the port, and to tie down as many Allied troops as possible, and that this had been achieved to his own satisfaction, since two British infantry divisions and about 150 tanks were assigned to the siege of Le Havre for almost fourteen days. Furthermore, while Wildermuth personally surrendered to British troops on 12 September, after being wounded in the thigh, he refused to order the surrender of the garrison on the ground that as a prisoner of war he no longer had any authority to do so.[4]

Prior to the early September launch of the British-led Operation Astonia to take the port city Wildermuth had requested that French citizens be evacuated before heavy pre-assault naval and air bombardment commenced. His offer was rebuffed by Lt-General John Crocker, in command of the 1st British Corps which had laid siege to the city. Crocker would later argue that if Wildermuth cared about the civilian population, he could have surrendered the garrison before the bombing began, and that acceding to Wildermuth’s request would have served only the German interest, by gaining time and removing potentially disruptive French civilians from the defended fortress.[5]“

Another, but far more junior officer, Lieutenant William Douglas-Home (whose elder brother later became a Conservative Party prime minister), was also at Le Havre at the material time:

“Despite his opposition to the policy of requiring the unconditional surrender of Nazi Germany he was conscripted into the Army in July 1940 and joined the Buffs (Royal East Kent Regiment).[7] He went to 161 Officer Cadet Training Unit (161 OCTU) in the buildings of the Royal Military College, Sandhurst, where one of his colleagues was David Fraser. At Sandhurst, he was critical of the war, which he said had been unnecessary.[8] Douglas-Home was commissioned in the Buffs in March 1941.[9] While an officer he stood in the three parliamentary by-elections.

Douglas-Home was assigned to the 7th Battalion of the Buffs, which was converted to tanks as the 141 Regiment Royal Armoured Corps (141 RAC). In the Normandy campaign, 141 RAC was assigned to I Corps, a British formation within the First Canadian Army. In August, First Canadian Army was directed to mop up the German forces cut off in various sea ports in Normandy and Pas de Calais. In the first week of September 1944, the Allies moved against the port of Le Havre. A German garrison under Colonel Hermann-Eberhard Wildermuth was dug in on the hill overlooking the city. Wildermuth had been ordered by Hitler to defend Fortress Le Havre to the last man, and not to surrender.

When the Allied forces invested the city in advance of the planned aerial bombardment and subsequent assault, Wildermuth asked the British commander if the French civilians could be evacuated from the city, but that request was refused. Lieutenant (acting Captain) Douglas-Home was near Le Havre, awaiting the completion of the aerial bombardment. He was to serve as a liaison officer in Operation Astonia, the Allied attack on Le Havre. On the second day after the aerial bombardment had started, he learned of the German request to evacuate the civilians and the Allied refusal. The consequences of the bombardment were apparent to the waiting Allied forces and Douglas-Home refused to participate in the attack. He gave two reasons:[citation needed]

  • The unconditional surrender policy, which he thought compelled the enemy to fight to the end.
  • The refusal of civilian evacuation was morally unacceptable to him.

which created a moral obligation for Douglas-Home and he declined to participate.

The aerial bombardment of Le Havre lasted four nights, killed over 2,000 French civilians, 19 German soldiers and levelled the city. The Germans surrendered after two-days’ fighting and I Corps moved on to Boulogne, which was also subjected to a heavy aerial bombardment. At that time Douglas-Home, who had been placed under supervision (he did not consider himself at that time to have been “arrested”) wrote to the Maidenhead Advertiser and the publication of his letter in the newspaper prompted his formal arrest and detention.

Because of the article in the Maidenhead Advertiser, the Allied forces besieging Calais allowed the civilians to be evacuated from the town before it was subjected to a heavy aerial bombardment and final assault. Dunkirk was allowed to remain in German hands, with the besieged force bottled up, until Germany surrendered on 8 May 1945. In the wake of the publication, the British became sensitive to indiscriminate bombing of occupied cities and towns, although that consideration was not extended to towns and cities in Germany.

[Douglas-Home] served 8 months, initially in Wormwood Scrubs, then completing his term in Wakefield Prison.[11]

Captain Andrew Wilson, M.C. also served in 141 RAC. In his autobiography Flame Thrower, published in 1956, he recounts this incident and its consequences. Wilson wrote his story deliberately in the third person:

Even when he sailed with the regiment to Normandy, William had continued his private war-against-war. While headquarters were near Bayeux, he had written to the newspapers about some German ambulances shot up by British fighters. And what he had written was true. Wilson had seen the ambulances, riddled with bullets on the Tilly road.”

I knew the answers only to questions 4, 8, and 10 and (like Rentoul) also guessed one word of no. 1. On a few other questions, I came close “but no cigar”…

Incidentally, and for those unaware of the matter, the above tweets refer mostly to the libel case Wilson v. Mendelsohn, Newbon (deceased), and Cantor. Wilson, an academic from the North of England, won his case despite a whole battery of Jews giving, in effect, perjured or tainted testimony. The witnesses (all Jews, all Israel fanatics) disbelieved by the trial judge included vituperative barrister Simon Myerson (dismissed, in effect, as part-time judge in 2024, because he was unable or unwilling to stop harassing people online), Daily Star scribbler Adam Cailler, one Joanne Bell (prolific on Twitter/X as “@jobellerina”), and Nathan Comiskey (another keyboard “warrior” for Israel) as well as the defendants.

Pete Newbon, one of the defendants, a sadistic and crazed Israel fanatic who trolled people mercilessly online, as well as committing various (other) crimes (his employer, a university, had already disciplined him for his appalling behaviour), committed suicide during the trial because he had not told his wife that their house was on the line. It appears that Mark Lewis and/or other Jewish lawyers had misled one or more of the defendants as to their downside risk. Dishonest, or simply incompetent? The Solicitors’ Regulation Authority is going to pronounce upon that soon.

Now, it seems that “Mark Lewis Lawyer” (solicitor) and Beth Grossman (Counsel, of Doughty Street Chambers in London) are refusing to disclose evidence about their behaviour during the course of the proceedings. It could lead to serious consequences for them, though Lewis is so washed-up now that it might not make much difference to him. Well, time will tell.

I have met relatively few, not so many, Ukrainians. I have met many Russians, of all sorts. I have to say that I much prefer the Russians I have met to the Ukrainians I have met.

Subjective, yes of course. Anecdotal too, were details to be considered. However, consider the cultural riches of Russia: composers, writers, painters, philosophers and other thinkers. Now consider the Ukrainian equivalent. Frankly, there is no comparison.

This is the sort of thing that happens when free speech is attacked via not only misguided or deliberately-totalitarian anti-free speech laws but also via policy determinations that have no basis in law whatever, as with “non-crime hate incidents”. “Hate crime” itself has no real basis in law; even less so has “non-crime hate” etc.

This is akin to, parallel to, what happened during the 2020-2022 “Covid” hysteria— government wishes, or preferences, labelled as “official guidance”, and all of that farrago confused with actual law, and then “enforced” arbitrarily by police woodentops who often had, and have, no idea either as to what is and what is not law, and who also often have an inflated idea of their own powers under law.

Talking about “Covid” and thinking back to the facemask loonies seen everywhere 2-3 years ago (though not so often now the msm propaganda hysteria has died down), I saw a typical one today in a supermarket: a middle-aged woman, very fat, hauling herself along slowly, while wearing her filthy, probably 3-years-old, cloth facemask, and pushing a large shopping trolley full of high-carb, high-fat foodstuffs.

Moscow travelogue

Very different from when I was not far from there several times in 1993 (in Leninsky Prospekt, at the Academy of Sciences). On my second and shorter trip to Moscow, in 2007, I was in another area of the city.

Whatever may be said about Putin, he has made Moscow a very much better city than it was either in 2007 or (a fortiori) 1993, when it was, palpably, on the edge of chaos.

Sovietism had to fall, after the years of gradual decline and the uselessness of Gorbachev. It fell into near-chaos, it was ravaged and pillaged by finance-capitalist carpetbaggers (mostly Jews) from the West, and also by (mostly Jewish) homegrown predators, the so-called “oligarchs”. Gangsterism too.

Putin put an end to much of that, certainly to the outright gangsterism (in 1993, in the Yeltsin era, I was staying in the same hotel, the Ukraina, as the top-level Chechen gangsters), but there are still huge social inequalities (and, worse yet, inequities) in Russia.

I feel that Russia is still in one of its states of transition. The situation will become clearer later.

I am not a “hanger and flogger”, usually, far from it, but the sentences handed down for quite bad crimes of violence are often risibly lenient. The public are rightly concerned.

Well, Corbyn proves, once again, that he is a bit of a political joke.

At present, Reform UK is between 28% and 34% in the opinion polls, which might result in anything between 200 and 400 MPs at a general election. Corbyn’s (I think as yet unnamed) “real Labour” party has not been much tested in opinion polls but seems to be somewhere between 5% and 10%.

That might result in anything from a couple of MPs (inc. Corbyn himself) and (at peak) half a dozen or so MPs. The likelihood is that Corbyn’s new party will take a small amount of support from Reform, far more from official Labour, and so give Reform maybe (?) a dozen more MPs.

I think that most of that is right. Trade-unionism was a product of the Industrial Revolution, a defence against unrestricted capitalism. The trade unions since, say, 1989, have become a pointless propaganda caucus obsessed with pro-immigration, “anti-racism”, feminism etc, often directly against the interests of their own members.

Corbyn is, of course, an anachronism. His is the world of the Durham Miners’ Gala (which persists despite there no longer being any Durham miners), the Tolpuddle Martyrs’ event in Dorset, steam engine rallies, Latino “community” fests in inner London etc.

As the lady tweeter says, Corbyn, without the Labour Party, has a niche political “market”— some disaffected real Labour people, some of the ethnic minorities, some anti-Israel people of various sorts, some NHS or other public-sector employees. Perhaps 10% of the electorate; more probably 5%.

You could argue something similar about Jewish behaviour and religion, but the Jews are a smallish minority (250,000+) and their influence and power comes not from sheer numbers but from control over msm journalism, radio, TV, commerce, finance, real property, political life etc. The Muslims have, and increasingly have, the raw numbers to exercise direct political influence.

In 2001, there were 1.6M Muslims in the UK. According to the 2011 Census, that year there were already 2.87M Muslims in the UK. By 2021, that contingent had increased to 3.87M. Today? Certainly well over 4M, maybe even 5M.

It might be argued that all major world religions have come to a dead end. Christianity, Islam, Buddhism, to name just three. The behaviour of their adherents does not create confidence.

Any result like that would certainly spell the end of the long-lived Con Party, would knock the stuffing out of Labour, and would write Reform UK a blank cheque (subject only to the House of Lords, where Reform has no peers at all, out of 836 peers at present. However, Farage could just create hundreds of new Reform peers, or simply abolish the Lords).

Among the hundreds of Labour MPs who would be booted out would be Stephen Kinnock, Angela Rayner, Dan Jarvis, Jess Phillips, Ed Miliband, Luke Akehurst, Stephen Timms, Andrew Gwynne, Bridget Phillipson, Liz Kendall, Nia Griffith, Maria Eagle, Angela Eagle, Lucy Powell, Yvette Cooper, Anna Turley, Paul Waugh, Sarah Champion, Kim Leadbeater, Gareth Snell, Torsten Bell, Emma Reynolds, Wes Streeting etc.

Interestingly, Starmer-stein might survive, but no doubt would resign as Labour leader. He would not be interested in staying on anyway.
