So Yvette Cooper, the would-be dictator, Labour Friends of Israel puppet, and expenses fraudster, currently posing as Home Secretary, will probably ban Palestine Action. Pretty silly.

For one thing, this seems to have been decided not because a couple of activists vandalized RAF planes by daubing graffiti, but because they have made the RAF, the woman “commander” of that base, SERCO (who apparently provided the outsourced and in fact non-existent “security”, no doubt at a high price), and the Government, look very very silly.

Had there been even one dozy military policeman on duty and doing his duty, the protesters could have been told to get lost, or been arrested before they got anywhere near those planes.

This was not “terrorism” but fairly standard protest of the “action directe” type. The action that makes sense would be to actually have proper security on Britain’s few remaining RAF bases, and not to label a small protest group “terrorist”; which will, in any case, only drive the situation underground, I should imagine.

In the 1930s, both the Soviet Union and National Socialist Germany allowed tourism, in the case of Germany free individual travel as well as group tours, in the Soviet Union mostly escorted and tightly-monitored group travel. Where they differed more was in the reverse situation: the German authorities were happy to let their citizens travel, knowing that few if any countries in the world would eclipse Germany under Hitler in terms of lifestyle, facilities etc. In the Soviet Union, of course, only the approved few were allowed out to tour foreign countries.

When I lived in Devon and Cornwall (both, first in a large country house in Cornwall, then in a farmhouse in Devon), I would see badgers at night quite often; sometimes, on the Devon side of the Tamar, I would drive down an almost unused single-track lane at night which was a back-lane off a back-lane. Badgers would be there, unafraid of the car because they rarely saw one, and would mass ahead of the car, about ten at a time. I would have to wait until they deigned to move aside. Lovely creatures. I cannot understand why backward cruel people sometimes hunt and kill them, but then Marx did talk about “rural idiocy“…

Tourism is dead, investment is dead, trade and commerce is all but dead, and Iran still has thousands, perhaps tens of thousands, of missiles, and untold numbers of drones, while Israel is running out of defensive missiles, we are told.

The damage is so bad that anyone photographing it, or posting photos online, is subject to arrest.

Meanwhile, those Jews who can, are fleeing.

Russia or, rather, the Russian people, will eventually, in about 1,500 years, become the leading edge of the world, just as the Germanic/Anglo-American element now is. That may be why Russia cannot be successfully invaded from west or east (as in the cases of Napoleon and Hitler). The double-headed eagle looks both east and west at the same time.

Russia is not really either European or Asian, but sui generis.

Still, when many “journalists” cannot spell, or write decently, why should some M.O.D. bod be any better?

I cannot know, but do suspect, that similar situations exist in the Army and Navy, and also in SIS/MI6 and MI5 (and, of course, in the police and CPS).

I cannot get too worked up about the Brize Norton attack, because for me the invasion of the UK is happening in small boats across the Channel, via “legal” immigration, and via births. I do not take “Britain’s defensive capability” against the (non-existent) “Russian threat” seriously, not in the slightest. Russia is only bristling because the UK is taking pointless and self-harming measures against Russia in the first place. We should be in loose alliance with Russia.

Having said that, it is clear that serious attackers, such as Spetsnaz commandos, would have no difficulty causing absolute havoc on such bases, should they ever be tasked with doing so.

Madness. The governments of the EU states and UK do not care at all about the welfare of their own citizens.

Ha ha! Jews are quite funny (without meaning to be) a lot of the time. It’s always “all about them”, in any and all circumstances. For example, Israeli Jews destroying every single hospital in Gaza is simply war damage, and really the fault of those being bombed, but if a hospital in Israel as much as has its windows broken, it’s some kind of evil “holocaust” (and so on…).

A few hundred cowardly Jews with dual nationality leaving their own (supposed) beloved country because they wish to avoid all risk is apparently the same as the 1940 Dunkirk evacuation of the British Expeditionary Force (my own maternal grandfather having been one of those taken off the beaches then) facing possible annihilation; and with the 1940-41 London Blitz thrown in as well! No wonder so many Jews are comedians…

Having said that, I believe that the lady tweeter is herself at least partly Jewish, but not (not completely, anyway) pro-Israel.

There used to be a saying, something about (I forget which creatures) leaving the sinking ship…

Oh, dear…what a pity… and only yesterday or the day before, I read that the shares on that stock exchange were rising fast, after Israel’s sneak attack on Iran. Life is so unexpected…

People are always saying how wonderfully talented Fry is. I cannot see it, for all his fame, acting career etc. In Jeeves and Wooster, that wonderful adaptation of P.G. Wodehouse, Fry was admittedly very good as Jeeves, but Hugh Laurie was the star, really. In Gosford Park, Fry’s police inspector ruined, in my view, the atmosphere, by importing a kind of cheap comedy into the film. As for his film about Oscar Wilde, it was nowhere as good (or as historically accurate) as the 1960 film starring Peter Finch, The Trials of Oscar Wilde. Fry’s version (if I recall it aright— I have seen it, though long ago) almost completely expunged Wilde’s heterosexual side [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oscar_Wilde#London_life_and_marriage], and said little about Wilde’s life or views outside of Wilde’s obsession with Lord Alfred Douglas and various disreputable youths.

I knew a barrister who met Fry at a wedding, and said that he, the barrister, had been quite shocked at how “left-wing” (a term I myself rarely if ever use) Fry was. Said barrister was himself Labour, though of the John Smith “centrist” (?) tendency. Where Fry’s true sympathies lie is disputed: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stephen_Fry. I am unsure whether he really has what might be called an ideology. He is, of course, half-Jewish.

Iran’s most deadly missiles may not be capable of interception.

It may be (speculating wildly, so be it) that the Iranians, often though not always noted for their subtlety, have been using their “pawns” (drones and slower missiles) as sacrificial pawns (as in chess), with the idea of exhausting the Israeli supply of ground-to-air defensive missiles. Then, when the Israelis run out of countermeasures such as Iron Dome and Arrow missiles, the Iranians will launch the real stuff…

That occurs to me as I recall the arguably most famous game of the Soviet chess grandmaster Mikhail Tal (a Jew, incidentally), who sacrificed almost every piece he had on the board, even his queen, in order to deliver the final brilliant and inescapable line of moves that led to checkmate (via a minor piece, at that). I think that that game was in 1968 or thereabouts.

Horrifying. A form of infanticide or even murder, in lay terms. The deliberate killing of a completely viable foetus (which after all only means unborn baby). When you consider that it is commonplace for babies to be born days or even weeks prematurely, and then go on to thrive, this proposed law, which will obviously become law now, decriminalizes the killing of any unborn child, even if done only hours, minutes, seconds even, before actual birth, and for any reason whatsoever, so long as the expectant mother does the killing. Truly horrifying.

Not sure whether the new law will validate that, exactly, because the killing will (from what I have read, anyway) have to be by the mother to escape legal sanction.

The Israeli military acknowledged firing in the area of the crowd in Khan Younis and said it was looking into the incident.

The swift (Apus apus) is an acrobatic aerial bird, a remarkable sprinter and endurance flyer that rarely touches the ground. When these sickle-winged birds do come down – after several years in perpetual flight, even sleeping midair – it is to nest in the eaves of roofs across Europe after spending winters in sub-Saharan Africa, migrating 7,000 miles (11,000km) every year. They are celebrated by nature lovers, artists and poets as they race through city skies on long summer evenings, filling the air with their screaming calls.

The fastest bird in level flight (top speed: 69mph/111kph), they feed on airborne insects. Swifts are in trouble because of steep declines in insects, but also because they are losing traditional nesting sites. Swifts once nested in caves and hollow trees but moved into buildings hundreds of years ago. Modern insulation, particularly in roofs, removes the crevices and cavities where they have nested for centuries.

What are the prospects for swifts?

Grim. Swift populations in Britain slumped by 66% between 1995 and 2022 and have continued a rapid downward trend. Since the last count of 59,000 breeding pairs, the population this summer is set to be just 40,000 pairs. In five years’ time there could be fewer than 25,000, unless action is taken.

A swift brick is a hollow brick that slots into the brickwork of new or old homes, providing a cavity where swifts can nest. The bricks have also been found to help other cavity-nesting birds, including the rapidly declining red-listed house martin, house sparrow and starling. Other species including blue tits, great tits, nuthatches and wrens will also nest in the bricks.

Swift bricks are made by brick manufacturers large and small, and typically cost about £35. There is a British standard for them and some developers are already fitting them to new homes.

Russia could, in theory, tell the United States that, should the US bomb Iran, Russia will bomb or rocket Israel. That would stalemate the situation, and stop the Americans from attacking Iran. Bad news. Why was Iran not better prepared? Not that I support the Iranian regime, as such, but I would, needless to say, never support the Jew-Zionists either.

Had I been in the responsible position in Iran, I should have prepared well in advance (as the Israelis did). Not only in the obvious ways. For example, the Iranians, via their Hezbollah proxies, and with better technical and financial resources, could have dug very deep tunnels from pro-Iran areas of Lebanon, much deeper than those uncovered in Gaza, and penetrated Northern Israel using those. Via such tunnels, mobile flying columns on jeeps, and also using armoured vehicles including armoured cars and even tanks, could then have emerged as a viable fighting force somewhere in Northern and maybe even Central Israel itself, perhaps as special forces used only to attack targets of the highest strategic importance on the ground.

Obviously, those proxy forces would then have waited before launching their attacks, not (as they did) attacking prematurely a couple of years ago. Co-ordination. Strategy. Logic. Remember Clausewitz— concentration of forces; Schwerpunkte.

Typical. “They” are always bullies, but cringe when they themselves are attacked, and then present themselves as “victims”.

Netanyahu claims that Iran has or had 20,000 missiles, not the 3,000 figure bandied about. That means that, even if the Israelis are destroying 95% of those incoming, there might yet be up to 1,000 able to reach their targets.

As previously blogged, for me the three main strategic targets in Israel must be the city of Tel Aviv (particularly targets of military or economic importance), the Ben-Gurion Airport 12 miles southeast of Tel Aviv, and the Dimona nuclear research/weapons complex in the Negev Desert in southern Israel.

There may be other worthy targets of strategic importance unknown to me (and/or completely secret) of course, but concentration of forces doctrine dictates choice of target; not everything can be hit by an attacking force anyway.

Interesting. So the Israelis hide command centres under civilian hospitals…is that why they destroyed the hospitals in Gaza, because they knew or assumed that Hamas was doing the same?

Well, I myself would not have “supported” the Jewish state no matter how restrained were its attacks on Gaza, but it is true that the brutal quasi-genocidal flattening of Gaza has opened many eyes to the nature of the Israeli Jews and their semi-ethnostate.

Sometimes people say something about what may happen, and even that they may do something; later the said thing happens, but you do not know whether that is co-incidental, or whether the people you spoke with were responsible.

Example: when I was in Rhodesia (now Zimbabwe) in 1977, aged 20, I happened to be acquainted with an Englishman about my age, maybe a year or so older, who had been (for whatever reason) chucked out of the training course for the Rhodesian SAS (which, unlike the British original parent version, recruited directly, not only from soldiers already serving in other units).

That young man told me that he and a few friends had an idea to break into the HQ of the Bank of Rhodesia and steal its foreign currency reserves. I laughed, thinking it impossible. Some time later, though, when I was back in the UK, I happened to read (I think in the Daily Telegraph) a small piece reporting on how that institution had indeed been broken into, and a large part of the foreign currency therein stolen. I think that the sum mentioned was either USD $5M or £5M pounds sterling (in today’s money, that would be at least £50M). As far as I know, no-one was ever arrested, nor the funds recovered.

So was that co-incidence, or was that humorous rogue whom I knew slightly (and whose name I cannot now recall) one of the culprits? I shall never know, neither shall I ever know whether he is currently sunning himself in Monte Carlo alongside a suitable blonde and a Campari-soda, or was, before long, dead in a ditch somewhere in Africa.

While I agree with the above, the “Free Speech Union” and Toby Young have damaged their own “brand” by failing to stand up for the free speech rights of those persecuted by the Jew-Zionist lobby and particularly the malicious and dishonest “Campaign Against Antisemitism” or “CAA”. Those conspired against have included me, Alison Chabloz, Jez Turner, “Sven Longshanks” (James Allchurch), Sam Melia etc, as well as better-known people and organizations such as David Icke, Dr. David Miller, and al-Jazeera TV.

Interesting. Naturally, it is often assumed that Jews would not betray the Israeli state, as the only actually Jewish state, but there are precedents, as when Soviet Intelligence ran a number of agents inside Israel, some of which were uncovered and punished.

The so-called “Director of Investigations and Enforcement” of the “CAA”, one “Slitherman” (as I call it), has personally made false and unlawful allegations against me in the past. See below for the facts, and the wider picture. Why have the police never prosecuted him? Why is he even now seen on the “almost no-one watches” Talk TV, GB News, Sky TV etc? He was exposed in open court (by the CAA’s own bungling lawyer) as a serial online troll and harasser of (mainly) women. Evil.

Lewis has been involved in trying to “get me” numerous times over the past 13 years, but I am still here, the blog is still being published, while Lewis has suffered quite a few blows of fate in the same period, and I think is now looking down the barrel of bad news.
