Makerfield by-election

Well, Burnham won. Not unexpected. The msm is going mad with this supposed great turning-point etc. Rather overblown, as is their contention that all Labour (or both of the main System parties) needed to do was to change horses, and both Reform and Restore would be left behind.

Not quite. At the 2024 General Election, Labour scored 45.2% at Makerfield, and Reform UK scored 31.8%. At the 2026 by-election, the Labour vote was 54.8%, so higher but not stunningly so, and the Reform vote was 34.5%, also higher than in 2024, despite the challenge from Restore Britain (6.8%) which did not exist in 2024.

While Reform and Restore together scored well below Labour’s vote, that combined vote still added up to 41.3%; quite respectable. Over 41% of the total of eligible voters did not vote at all, a sign that many are either apathetic or more radical than Reform and Restore.

Prior to the vote, enemy of the people Lisa Nandy made some foolish comment that “about 6% or 7%” of the Makerfield electorate were “racists” who would vote for any anti-immigration party. 6% or 7%. Now see the combined Reform/Restore vote— over 41%.

I think that several factors contributed to Burnham’s win. The split Reform/Restore was one. True, the two parties still scored a total below that of Burnham-Labour, but that might not have been the case had only one party stood.

Then there is the hullabaloo and msm reportage about how Burnham would unseat the hated Starmer-stein, and about Burnham’s supposed more radical and/or active ideas to improve life in the North of England. Unconvincing to me, but apparently not to many Northern English voters.

The other interesting parts of the by-election result were the poor showings of the Conservatives and LibDems.

The Conservatives scored only 2.2% at the by-election, and lost their deposit. In 2024, their vote had been 10.9%, and in 2019, 34.4%.

The LibDems scored only 0.4% at the by-election (a mere 163 votes) as against 6.8% in 2024.

An indication of how far the credibility of both parties, Con and LibDem, has fallen in parts of the country.

The growing anger and frustration of the British people may be expressed, by 2029, in Parliamentary form, or in some other form(s).

I remain far from convinced that the “our Andy” show (complete with “our communities” and “our NHS“) will travel well anywhere very far south (or north, or east) of Manchester.

I saw a minute of so, on BBC TV News, of Burnham speaking today. He wants to “re-industrialise the North (of England)” (how? has he never heard of China?) and spread much money here and there. For me, not at all convincing or even interesting.

The Irish “tinker” or “traveller” element is also, of course, notorious for such activity. Others too.

I can recall, from when I was staying in some hotel on the Corniche in Alexandria (Egypt) in 1998, looking from my balcony and noticing an obviously wealthy Egyptian family in a large Mercedes stop, and a little girl, obviously instructed to do so, exit from the vehicle with all their fast food boxes and paper bags, and simply dump them over the parapet into the beautiful blue sea of the Eastern Harbour, which sea once would have been seen by Cleopatra, Mark Antony, Julius Caesar and Caesar Augustus, not to mention Churchill and others.

With 10 days of intense effort by dedicated volunteers, the river River Roding Trust managed to clean up & restore 250 metres of the Aldersbrook (about 1/3 of the brook). This allows a direct comparison between the parts of the brook we restored & those we haven’t got round to yet.

These photos & videos are all from May 2026. The first is on a part of the Aldersbrook still to be restored & shows the old flood defences which are no longer needed & are killing the river but which the EA won’t remove unless we volunteers pay them £50,000 just for surveys.

These defences have caused 2-3ft of stinking sludge & silt to build up over 70 years, such that the water in the brook is just a few centimetres deep. Combine with huge amounts of rubbish & and out of control knotweed infestation & the river ecosystem is essentially dead.

A river that is older than England destroyed by official indifference.

A hundred metres away, and it’s a different story. The rubbish & the invasive species (I sprayed the knotweed myself last autumn) are gone. The silt that used to clog the river is now spread on the banks & rapidly providing fertile ground for native plants. Instead of sludge, there’s 2-3ft of water, so fish have returned to the brook for the first time in decades, along with dragon flies, herons & a nesting moorhen.

We river guardians knew our intervention would make a difference, but have been shocked at quite how quickly nature has come back. The restored Aldersbrook is now a rare jewel: pretty much the last fully natural tidal brook in London. The EA now has a choice. It can salvage some good from this situation & work with us to restore the remaining sections of the brook, or it can continue to do nothing. If the latter, river guardians *will* be back this winter to finish the job & the EA can see how well prosecuting volunteers for restoring a river without permission goes for them.“]

2025 was a ‘mast year’ for acorns. In order to have the best chance of reproducing, some trees like oaks all produce a huge amount of acorns in the same year. This sheer abundance overwhelms creatures like squirrels that snack on the nuts, as they simply can’t eat them all.

Now, in woodlands & fields across the country, we see the results of this self-directed tree planting. Huge carpets of baby oaks that in some places are so thick they look like a grassy green lawn. I’ve honestly never seen so many oak saplings in my lifetime & this scene is all the more incredible given the oaks somehow knew to coordinate their reproduction like this.

Although this planting effort is natural, there are some things that humans can do to help. As self-sown oaks are usually significantly more vigorous & healthy than nursery grown saplings, encouraging these oaks will likely lead to much better trees than through planting.

What you can do depends on the local circumstances. Sometimes they can just be left to their own devices. If they have sown themselves in a area of high footfall, consider putting rocks or logs round them to stop trampling. If they are in an area with lots of deer, consider putting tree protectors round them, or fencing off areas of them. If we have a dry spell, watering your chosen oaks might help them through the dry patch. In choosing which of the many oaks out there you want to support, concentrate on those outside of the canopy of existing trees, where they will get light (the saplings under the shade of existing oaks are unlikely to make it long-term). You could also consider giving them light by removing invasive species (like rhododendron) or cutting back less ecologically useful trees (like sycamore), or potentially scrub (if there are no deer about) that are covering the baby oaks.

With a little bit of care, you could be helping to nurture a tree that will last for 500 years or more!“]

Woolwich Crown Court is high-security. Prisoners are brought to court via an underground tunnel from the nearby Belmarsh Prison. I once had a friend at the Bar who, in the 1990s, did quite a lot of “heavy” crime there, crimes such as security-van jobs and the like.

Well said. Political leadership is not the same as being an Army or Royal Marines officer (you cannot simply command people and events, and decisions have to be more nuanced). As the tweeter says, neither is political leadership similar to being a senior legal figure such as the DPP (you cannot simply lay down rules and regulations and/or threaten to use “the full force of the law” when people do not agree).

Come to that, political leadership is also unalike to being a top-level businessman, as Trump is proving to the world. Not everyone wants to “make a deal“. Some people will not “make a deal” under any circumstances, because they or their group, clan, or people are motivated not by a quantifiable outcome such as profit and loss, but by ideology, or religion, or even a wish for “death or (and/or) glory”. Such people often do not much care if they themselves end up worse off (objectively) without a so-called “deal”.

People, years ago, thought that Starmer-stein would be a Prime Minister fairly dull but at least intelligent, reliable, respectful of the idea of “a society under law”, and not likely to go off the rails in any serious way.

Well…people got the dull Prime Minister, but they also got a power-mad former bureaucrat willing to have protesters imprisoned for years for doing such petty crimes or non-crimes such as posting “inflammatory” tweets that few read and by which none were “incited”; same goes for idiotic young or not-young men willing to throw a few plastic wheelie bins towards a line of riot police.

The British people got, not a dull but reliable (and ethical) Prime Minister, but a petty tyrant forcing the entire nation to give large amounts of personal information to Israeli and other companies before being “allowed” to post on, or even use and/or read, Twitter/X, Facebook, YouTube etc.

They also got a Prime Minister willing to light Jewish-supremacist candlesticks in the windows of 10, Downing Street and in Trafalgar Square, and one willing to throw away enormous amounts of money “supporting” the Jew-Zionist/Ukrainian-thug regime in Kiev, while British people struggle without help.

The British people also got a crazed Prime Minister presiding over a migration invasion of enormous proportions, one which he has no plan to stop, and no intention of stopping.

In reality, any money spent on “defence” at present is money totally wasted. There is no threat from Russia or anywhere else to the UK, not in terms of ordinary warfare. The threats are all from the migration invasion or are from within the society— the demographic changes, the exploitative finance-capitalism tearing society apart, and the collapsing fake “democratic” political system.

Britain should not be getting involved in Ukraine, the Middle East, or the Indian Ocean. It is pathetic, anyway, now that our Empire is long-gone, given away by the LabCon traitors now all too ready to wave the flag around to “support” the thuggish and corrupt regime Ukraine, or the appalling Israeli state.

Indicates low enthusiasm for all existing parties. Translates to a Commons with about 284 Reform UK MPs (about 42 short of an overall majority), 93 Cons (weak official Opposition unless they make common cause with Reform, either coalition or other arrangement); Greens 68, LibDems 68, Lab 62, SNP 45 [etc].

That would probably be good for social nationalism. A Reform or Reform/Con government would be a disaster but, as Lenin said “worse will be better“…

Once again, as in all polling for a long time, Starmer would lose his seat on those figures, as would any Labour MP in Makerfield (probably including Burnham, if he wins the upcoming by-election).

Leaving aside the schools issue, one thing is clear: Labourite drone and careerist Bridget Phillipson knows little or no history, despite her mixed history/languages degree from Oxford.

The Gestapo did not march “hundreds of thousands” (of any types) anywhere. I presume that the idiotic woman is confusing or conflating the Gestapo with the S.S.

The Gestapo was a quite small organization, largely made up of former detectives from the Kripo (criminal police). Its job was to track down spies and saboteurs etc, which it did mainly by sifting through denunciations sent in by citizens.

In fact, 95% of the work of the Gestapo was to examine, then dismiss denunciations made by people either mistakenly or maliciously. There were usually only a few Gestapo officers in even quite sizeable towns.

The Gestapo operated almost invariably in civilian clothes, and did not march columns of prisoners anywhere.

Disappointing but certainly not surprising, these days, to find such ignorance in a woman who not only read History (period studied not known to me), but also is now Secretary of State for Education…

You have to bear in mind, also, that those tested were tested after having been prisoners for some time, on restricted diets and, in some cases (Streicher, in particular) subject to ill-treatment amounting to torture at the hands of Jews in American uniform.

Britain should leave NATO, cultivate better relations with Russia, take Russian oil and gas at cost price (I think that easily achievable in the right circumstances) and, in Russia, find a ready and huge market for British goods and services, including our people’s great overall skill-set.

Carns may well climb higher. Exceptional. However, from what I have seen and heard so far, possibly (and, in view of his support for Jo Cox and her activity, probably) ideologically unsound.

I am all in favour of the UK being, in Carns’ own words, “able to defend itself“, but that must be distinguished from fomenting entirely unnecessary wars which are likely to entirely destroy this country and its people.

I can see Carns being appealing to many voters, though.

Carns’ speech is wrong in its characterization of the Attlee government of the mid/late 1940s. That excellent historian, Correlli Barnett [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Correlli_Barnett] made the point in his several books that the UK tried to do three things after 1945 (retain a global military presence, re-tool British industry and commerce, establish or improve the Welfare State), but only had the wherewithal to do two of those properly, and thus did all three but inadequately.

Having said that, Carns made a pretty good speech there, objectively.

I have seen, however, from Carns’ tweets and interviews on domestic matters, that he is very weak in areas outside his core comfort-zone of defence etc.

I am generally opposed to the death penalty, but there are exceptions. This is one such exception.

Only social nationalism can save this country now.

A stray thought out of season

I was just thinking about admirable scenes from films. One which shows a decision made by someone of real integrity is when “The Jackal”, played in the original film by Edward Fox (ignore the remakes), is told that the French security services have discovered his identity and the nature of his mission— “The Jackal is blown; repeat, the Jackal is blown“, and he therefore has the possibility of abandoning his mission and getting out, as well as keeping the half of his fee which has already been paid upfront. His car reaches a fork in the road on the Cote d’Azur. A signpost points left to Paris, right to Italy. After a momentary hesitation, he guns the engine and drives into France, to the fulfilment of his mission, despite the almost suicidal risk. That is integrity. Class.

I understood the paradox long ago: the USA has more military-destructive power than any empire or state in history, and can destroy any force, or whole country, designated as an enemy, yet cannot necessarily use that force without itself suffering mortal injury; also, it has not the ideological will to impose an imperium (not only military-political authority but also a continuing “way of life”) in the way done by the great empires of the past— Hellenic, Roman, Mughal, French, British, Russian/Soviet etc.

The USA should really make the (Israeli) Jews do what the USA requires, by cutting off arms and money, but of course the Israeli/Jewish element is embedded very strongly in Congress, as well as in the American mass media, influential think tanks, publishing, academia etc, as well as, obviously, business and finance.

I admit that, at first, I discounted the various tweets seen a few days ago, which tweets were saying that the fake “communitarian” gobbledegook put out notionally by the family of the murdered boy, Henry Nowak, was in fact forced on that family by the police or others (“the authorities”), but it seems that I was wrong.

I had thought that the typical System language of that family’s communique was simply because some police or “community relations” drone had helped them express their thoughts. As all too often, I was too kind. Seems that the whole thing was a “nudge” unit operation.

It will be recalled that a “high-flying” Civil Service Jew set up the Downing Street “nudge” operation about a decade or so ago, and on the orders of David Cameron-Levita and George Osborne.

[“Online safety” laws and age verification mandates have absolutely NOTHING to do with protecting children.

You cannot stop under-16s from accessing a website without checking the age of everyone who visits it. And you cannot check everyone’s age without forcing them to prove who they are.

“Child safety” is the cheese in the mousetrap.

Laws sold under the banner of “child protection” constitute a Trojan horse for a system requiring every adult to verify their identity before they can speak, read, or post online. The child is merely an emotional shield. The adult is the real target.

And once that infrastructure exists, the pretext can be swapped out at will.

Cornwall has plenty of (mostly 18thC/19thC) ruins and follies. The decline in fertility across the world is a stunning but relatively little-discussed fact.

I think, subject to correction, that that news about India means that the only remaining parts of the world where the populations are growing via births, rather than from mass migration, are Pakistan, Bangladesh, and parts of Africa. Unfortunately, these are some of the most backward, and least useful, people on Earth, and are also those who, among others, are invading Europe (and elsewhere) on the mass scale at the present time.

One of the big questions is as to whether Restore (not mentioned in that poll) and Reform are fishing in the same pool, or whether one (Restore?) or both are, or will be, able to get usual non-voters, those disgusted by the choice previously available, out to vote. In other words, is the “nationalist” vote around 30%, or could it be 35%, 40%, or even 50%?Open question.

Taking that opinion poll as stated though, it translates to a Commons with about 378 Reform MPs (excellent majority), LibDems 60 (very weak official Opposition), Lab 56, Greens 54, SNP 44, and Cons 39 [etc].

Incidentally, on those figures, Labour would lose both Holborn and St. Pancras (Starmer’s seat) and Makerfield (which may or may not be Andy Burnham’s new seat); the former to the Greens, the latter to Reform.

I have no idea who that woman is but she parrots the usual Labourite nonsense that one hears from the likes of Lisa Nandy, Rachel Reeves, and other Labour careerist clowns and “multiculturalists”: “our communities“, “our NHS” etc.

Within just about three minutes, he lost consciousness and died. People with suspected internal injuries should never be moved or yanked abruptly—such actions can destroy the natural clot and lead to massive internal hemorrhage. Instead of immediately calling a medical rescue team and handing the patient over to paramedics, the police handcuffed him. If paramedics had arrived first on the scene, Henry’s chances of survival would have been much higher. “50%”—writes Dr. Magier. Paramedics could have quickly started an IV, administered fluids to increase circulating blood volume, and tranexamic acid to stabilize the clot, and if needed, performed needle decompression (inserting a large, long needle into the lung), because the issue wasn’t so much lack of lung function, but compression of the blood-filled lung on the heart and mediastinum, which blocks circulation. Worse still, the incident took place just a few minutes’ drive by car (2–3 minutes by ambulance with sirens) from Southampton University Hospital—a regional Major Trauma Centre equipped with a full team of specialists, procedures, and equipment. “I am convinced that if Henry had arrived there alive, the doctors would not have let him die”—writes Dr. Magier. In summary: the aggressive police intervention, instead of saving a life, led to death through improper handling of a severely injured person, even though world-class care was just minutes away. “I fear the Judge and pathologist were too lenient toward the police”—writes Dr. Magier.”]

Looks like the police might face a civil action on that basis, potentially.

I rarely support what the Israelis do, but had this murder taken place in Israel/Palestine, had the victim been a Jew, and had the murderer been a Palestinian Arab, the house of the murderer responsible would have been demolished by a bulldozer regardless of the culpability or not of the murderer’s family (in this case, the mother has already been found guilty of an ancillary offence, and others of the family have been charged and arraigned).

That stupid Labourite woman on the Peston TV show should see this, though she is the type that is impervious to evidence that challenges her ingrained views. “Second and third generation…” too. Happens in Belgium, the UK, Germany, France, Scandinavia, and elsewhere. We need to clear them out, and save what is left of Europe.

It is unacceptable, and has reached far beyond its original remit.

The Equality Act 2010 consolidated all of the previous Race Relations Acts into one anti-white monstrosity.

  • Repeal all laws which punish ‘racist’ speech, including Part III of the Public Order Act 1986 – which criminalises ‘incitement to racial hatred’.
  • Repeal law which requires courts to treat racial hostility as an aggravating factor when sentencing offences.
  • Replace it all with one simple act that ensures every British citizen is equal before the law and positively outlaws anti-white discrimination, so as to prevent activist judges from reading their own prejudices into the law.
  • Ban race-based, sex-based and religion-based quotas in public bodies and private companies.
  • Prohibit recruitment schemes restricted to particular ethnic groups.
  • End mandatory DEI training across government, local authorities, police and NHS bodies.
  • Ban positive discrimination in hiring and promotion.
  • Outlaw race-specific graduate schemes and internships.
  • End taxpayer funding for DEI officers or schemes across the entire public sector.

Restore Britain is committed to rooting out all laws, practices, and norms that systematically discriminate against white people.

In fact, the Reform/Restore rivalry, though a problem in terms of vote-splitting at elections, is a great thing in terms of moving the “Overton Window”. Already we see that the public discourse is moving, and quite rapidly moving now.

Farage and Reform are scrabbling to keep up with Lowe and Restore, and the public, many of them, are up front with Restore in terms of their views, in my judgment, even though Reform is still far better known, and has a higher profile (as has Farage). Quite interesting, and for me reminiscent of the house by Lewisham Park, a Victorian/Edwardian park in south-east London (between Lewisham and Catford), where I lived for a year (1983-84), until I started my law degree at the superannuated age of 28. I had a large room with a kitchenette, a sitting area with sofas and armchairs, and a door onto a tiny high-walled private garden separate from the main garden.

I piled my bed high with soft sheepskins, and subsisted much of the time on grechka (boiled, then fried, buckwheat grains) and lemon tea.

My landlady there was a rather frosty dragon called Mrs. Moore who, in the mid/late 1940s, had been an officer of military intelligence in India. She always called military intelligence “MI“.

Mrs. Moore lived, like me, on the ground floor, and was very strict about her tenants (of which I believe there were several, though I rarely saw or even heard anyone) notifying their presence or absence via a system of wooden slats by the large front door. Those slats said “In”, “Out”, or “Away” by a list of the room numbers; “Away” was for when people expected to be out overnight or longer.

One night I was “away” but notified only “out”, so Mrs Moore did not double-bolt the front door. I was criticized by her for my failure, and the consequent potential security breach, when I returned the following day.

That house was later demolished (late 1980s, I think), and a sheltered housing building, St. Mauritius House, hugely ugly (one can view it via Google Earth), constructed on the site. Today, a passer-by would have no idea that a pleasant little bit of 19th/20thC social history and domestic architecture ever existed there.

Morning thought

The way England and all Britain, indeed all of the British Isles, and most of Europe now is, it seems to me that the only way forward is a replacement of the existing political/socio-political system by a limited-period social-national dictatorship. It would last for 7 years, after which an intelligently-limited form of “democracy”, based on the Threefold Social Order, would take its place.

As to the limited-term dictator, it should be someone with a clear vision into the future, and also someone who, being at least of late middle age, is as devoid of ordinary personal worldly ambition as possible. I am loving the humiliation of that one-time would-be dictator, Nicola Sturgeon, and her entirely fake SNP Scottish “nationalism” (which, for example, looks upon English people as more alien than Pakistanis, so long as the latter were born in, or even just live in, some Scottish urban wasteland).

One can see why Restore Britain is being attacked by the Jewish lobby. I have just been convicted a second time for ‘hate speech’ and it is only due to a technicality that I could not immediately be sent to jail —to the judge’s frustration.

In an ironic turn of events it’s actually thanks to my previous prison sentence (for memes in a private group chat) that I am now still free —in a physical sense, at least.

Call me naive but I didn’t think they would take it this far, given that this precedent criminalises many of the arguments used by even the most moderate politicians critical of mass migration.

In February 2024 I gave a lecture at Catholic University Leuven wherein I linked mass migration to crime and a deterioration of our quality of life. Every single point I made was 100% the truth and based on scientific evidence.

Cynically, even the judge that convicted me admits as much by writing in his verdict: “Even if all of the statements made by Van Langenhove are based on scientific evidence and statistics, it makes no difference to the criminal intent. Van Langenhove is not charged with spreading false information. He is charged with presenting facts in a way that incites hatred against persons on the grounds of one or more of the protected criteria in the Anti-Racism Law.”

That’s a lot of words just to say he wants to send me to prison for speaking the truth.

Even the regime media write: “It did not matter to the court that Van Langenhove was quoting scientific sources. The judge argued that Van Langenhove’s main message was that a big part of the societal problems like insecurity, housing shortages and lowering educational standards are due to mass migration.”

You may think the regime media are being sympathetic to me in the first sentence, but in reality they are warning people: even if you speak the truth, if you go against our narrative, we will crush you in every way possible.

Both the public prosecutor and the judge did not present a single real argument as to how or against whom I would have incited hatred. So even if I would accept their crazy, dystopic law, I still did not break it.

The only argument they present is that I created a “hostile atmosphere of us versus them” in regards to migrants. But even this silly argument (which is not even a punishable offence) is not true. To me, the deadly disease is self-hatred and one of its worst symptoms is replacement migration. My enemy is thus NOT the migrants themselves but those orchestrating the mass migration.

Sadly, in Belgium, evidence is not needed and ‘vibes’ are enough to put someone in jail.

Given the fact that I have another court case coming up in September and that I have a dozen active criminal investigations for hate speech, time is running out for me. I have already paid more than €420,000 in legal fees and there is no ending in sight. I have been in an intense battle of attrition for eight years and must now regroup to make sure I can still win.

A different jurisdiction but essentially the same kind of legalized injustice that sent Sam Melia of Patriotic Alternative to prison in the UK a couple of years ago.

The System and its drones (MPs, judges, prosecutors, msm scribblers and talking heads etc) have, so far, been able to bully and persecute people in that way without any serious pushback. So far.

I do not “support” Reform UK (or Restore Britain) as such, but what matters now is that Labour loses at Makerfield, and that cannot happen if the anti-Labour vote is split in any substantial way. I fear that, as things are developing, that may happen, and that Jewish-lobby System puppet Andy Burnham will “blag” his way to an unmerited by-election victory.

The NHS needs radical reform, just like much of UK society. Ring-fenced funding from taxation, but also a cull of the bureaucracy and the “woke”/”anti-racist” and other propaganda, and a clear hierarchy.

I agree with her.

That first tweeter, “Angloid” seems to believe that if only “nationalists” never “offended” anyone (Jews, blacks/browns/Muslims, “antifa” loonies and cretins, bien-pensant “normies” etc) then the mass of “normal” Brits would inevitably see the light and the “nationalist” side would triumph almost without having to struggle (no doubt at a “free and fair” general election before which the msm would present the “nationalist” case completely fairly on TV and in the Press)…

Well, that tweeter, “Angloid” is apparently 19. When I was 19, I also had some wrongheaded ideas (as well as some correct ones), so I should not wish to be too censorious but, when one is 69, as I now am, such naive thinking has or should have given way to a more realistic outlook, as St. Paul noted.

In an animated cartoon, a bell would, at this point, sound in or above someone’s head…

I am not someone who immediately sees a conspiracy in every situation, but I am inclined to think that both Restore and Reform are “controlled opposition”; however—in the absence of open revolution, or invasion by another state– the existing System parties can only be reduced to unimportance by the rise of a new party, or new parties.

Of course, two parties with (as it might be) 30%-40% of the popular vote split 2 ways are far less powerful a challenge to the System than one party with 30%-40% of that same vote.

Also, yes, that party or those parties may morph into System parties, as I predicted quite long ago would happen to Reform UK, but a Reform triumph (or Restore triumph) would still be far better than a continuation of the old “two/three main parties” scam, because Lab and Con would go, and with them much of the stability of the System.

I hear what Hodges is saying, but I see no evidence that System puppet Andy Burnham actually has any of the supposed great popularity anyway. Burnham may be more popular than both Starmer-stein and Kemi Badenoch, but that is not so difficult, after all. Also, Burnham has been effectively absent from public exposure (at least, for anyone more than 50 miles out of Manchester), so familiarity has not bred contempt…yet.

It does highlight how poorly the UK is provided with socio-political vision, though, that a mediocre fellow such as Andy Burnham is presented (by the msm and/or System) as some kind of Great White Hope.

That character in the red jacket is a not-atypical kneejerk Labourite, the type to be found, even now, all over the North of England and, at least until a decade ago, in Scotland (I believe).

Look at him! Lives in a rubbish area, wears cheap rubbish clothes, may or may not even have a job, and has probably voted Labour at each and every opportunity.

Makerfield has had a Labour MP uninterruptedly for 43 years, since the seat was created. For 15 of those years, it has also had a Labour government, yet what good has that done for that long-haired “anti-fascist”? He’s still living in a rubbish area, still wearing the cheap shoddy clothing, still probably penniless… (and, voting Labour, probably has a n*****r for a neighbour!)…
