Diary Blog, 3 July 2023— riots in France, climate change propaganda, and banks censoring and repressing their customers

From the newspapers

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-12256949/Banks-warned-protect-free-speech-Jeremy-Hunt-said-deeply-concerned.html

Banks are to be warned by ministers that they must protect free speech as increasing numbers of customers are having their accounts closed for holding allegedly controversial views.

The Chancellor Jeremy Hunt is reportedly ‘deeply concerned’ that lenders are blacklisting customers they are deemed to hold contrary political beliefs and social values.

The controversy flared up last week after Nigel Farage revealed his long-standing account had been closed by his bank, while a vicar was dropped by another lender for questioning why their branches were displaying Pride flags.

[Daily Mail]

I have blogged about this previously. Farage is, as the report notes, not alone. Repression on freedom of expression by banks (bank staff) has been a fact for a few years now. Laura Towler, Sam Melia, and Mark Collett, all of Patriotic Alternative, had their personal bank accounts closed. Straight political bias.

The only thing that will stop the trend to censorship and repression is if bank directors, managers etc are held accountable directly. The same goes for MPs, msm talking heads etc.

Incidentally, maybe 99% of the repression of freedom of expression in the UK comes from the malicious and manipulative Jew-Zionist element; certainly 90%+. See, for example, my own experiences, published at the top of this blog post. “They” are almost always the troublemakers, if you investigate the matter.

https://inews.co.uk/news/world/sicilian-farmer-oranges-bananas-mangoes-italy-tropical-2417532.

Rosolino Palazzolo, a 44-year-old Sicilian farmer, has just finished picking the first pitanga (Surinam cherry) and acerola (Barbados cherry) on his farm in a tiny village called Terrasini, close to Palermo. He looks at the bright cherries in his hand, smiling proudly.

These fruits would normally be found growing along the equator but, in the past few years, climate change and year-round warm temperatures have led to a produce revolution in Italy’s deep south.

Italy is turning into a tropical country. That’s why I also grow papayas, mangoes, passion fruit, baby bananas dubbed ‘bananito’, black sapote [a soft, orange-fleshed fruit], annona [custard apple] and even coffee and chocolate plants,” Mr Palazzolo [says].

Tropical fruit is the future of Italy’s agriculture; it will save the country from the negative effects of rising temperatures and crazy, wild rainfalls.”

The farmer still grows traditional fruits such as pears, citrus fruits and peaches, and vegetables such as tomatoes and courgettes, but in smaller quantities due to the tropical-like climate that has taken hold in Italy, particularly in the south.”

Interesting. Adaptation to a warmer climate.

La France— réveillez-vous!

The only way to stop the epidemic of drug abuse in the West is to eliminate the users. Poppy cultivation cannot simply be banned everywhere, because opium derivatives are used for essential products such as morphine. India and Australia (Tasmania) are among the larger producers of legally-farmed opium poppies. Afghanistan accounts for about 80% of the illegal trade.

Eliminate all rioters in the field.

Typically misleading Sky News. In fact, it was not “the hottest June ever in UK” (as seen in that tweet) but the hottest June since records began, which was only in 1884. As the report does say, previous hot-June records were reached in both 1940 and 1976. Even the headline, “hottest June on record“, though technically correct, is misleading, because many will assume that records go back to maybe 1700 or so, which is not the case on a reliable or consistent basis.

In historical terms, 139 years (1884-2023) is almost nothing.

We know that there were relatively warm periods previously in recorded European history, notably in the “Mediaeval Warm Period”, often estimated as having happened from about 950 AD to about 1250 AD: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Medieval_Warm_Period.

Before that, there had been a “Roman Warm Period” running from about 250 BC to about 400 AD: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Roman_Warm_Period.

There was no measurement of temperature then, but warmer climatic conditions can be inferred from forms of agriculture known to have been current, and from animal and plant remains, tree rings etc.

There are various theories as to why those historical periods were warmer than other times before and after, but one thing is for sure— it had little or nothing to do with “carbon emissions”. These were societies without very large populations (the Roman Empire at height may have had 60 million inhabitants), without the internal combustion engine, without industry except on a very small scale, and without the widespread use of coal: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Coal#History.

Those two warm periods hosted higher levels of civilization and culture than the cooler periods on either side of each. Be careful what you wish for.

Again the technically-correct but very misleading “on record” assertion.

I agree with that tweeter about the sheer audacity, as I think I would term it, of the online fraud and “grifter” “Jack Monroe”.

That sheer gall is what really sets her apart from the numerous other online “grifters” around— her sheer criminal audacity, as well as her relentless use of about half a dozen tactics: pretending to be an “activist” for “the poor”; various mental and physical problems (useful to be able to blame critics for making them worse, though most if not all of them are non-existent); pretending to be short of money and/or living in poverty (rather than a house, possibly with a sea view, in a rather expensive Essex suburb); attaching herself to this or that group as expedient— LGBTQXYZ, disabled, “poor”, struggling single mother (despite her affluent family living in the same area), “socialist” (despite her false “feed a family for £20 a week” claims, “cosmopolitan” (despite rarely having been outside Essex), and displaying little or no obvious knowledge or education), etc.

Then there are the fake biographical details, such as having taken a leading role after or even during the Grenfell fire incident.

What is truly amazing is how many people, even some journalists, still believe all of her rubbish.

I still fail to understand why a black woman in Bristol is (I think) still facing Crown Court trial for allegedly having crowdfunded for legal costs to make a civil claim that (allegedly or apparently) never happened, and then having (allegedly) kept the monies raised for her personal use, but “Jack Monroe” raised monies similarly, supposedly to sue Lee Anderson MP, then did not even send preliminary formal complaint to Lee Anderson, and quite plainly ripped-off the said monies for her own uses, yet (so far) is not charged with anything. Why not?

Late tweets seen

Well, wonders will never cease. I agree with all of that.

The directors of the banks should be held accountable, directly.

Please refer to previous comment.

Eliminate all rioters in the field, then deport their base populations to somewhere outside Europe (maybe to French Guiana).

“Jack Monroe” latest

I am not a doctor but, in my layman’s view at least, “Jack Monroe” is a type of psychopath not unknown in psychiatric literature: relentless, and likely to “double down” on her lies even after they have been comprehensively exposed as lies.

The “sue Lee Anderson and Martin Daubney” “grift” has been typical. She crowdfunded to sue them (ostensibly). She never in fact had a case, because their (I agree) defamatory (as innuendo) statements saying that “Jack Monroe” “lived off the backs of the poor” etc were, in a word, true. They were true statements (though possibly simply “mere insult”, and not actionable). Anderson and Daubney therefore had a complete defence of “truth”, even leaving aside fair comment, honest opinion etc, and the “mere insult” point. Also, had the matter gone to trial, “Jack Monroe” would have been required to disclose at least the outline of her financial affairs. She could never allow that.

It is noteworthy that the Jew lawyer, Mark Lewis, who had conduct of the libel case brought by “Jack Monroe” against Katie Hopkins years ago (a case impossible to lose; Ms. Hopkins was in the wrong, was possibly badly advised, and should have eaten crow a bit, and settled at an early stage), has in the past year not even emerged from his kennel re. “Jack Monroe”.

Lewis, now resident mainly in Israel, does not take on cases certain to fail (because he would then make no money).

It always looked like “Jack Monroe” had simply kept the “sue Lee Anderson” monies, and I shall believe that (as with her previous scams) that is exactly what happened in this case, unless and until I see at least plausible proof to the contrary.

“Jack Monroe” now simply “doubles down” and says “I could have won against Lee Anderson and Martin Daubney, but chose not to“! Stunning mendacity. The sad thing is that a great many of the mug followers of “Jack Monroe” will actually believe it.

Meanwhile, “Jack Monroe” is also claiming that her house on the South Essex coast has been besieged by large numbers of reporters and members of the public. Completely untrue, as far as I know.

That in turn has excited many of her mentally-unstable supporters, as with “David Salt (backing all strikes)” here below:

[6 July 2023 update: the David Salt tweeter has changed the name]

[28 October 2024 update: “”Oliver McGurn/@davidsalt2001” may have deleted his tweet, which read “I’d love to meet some of these people Jack, I’m not a violent person but I make an impact! Sending you hugs xx.” What a total idiot— presumably what is now, apparently, termed a “neckbeard”…].

Oddly enough, my blog received a semi-threatening comment (not published, and the sender blocked, of course) recently by a troll calling itself “No Name” and referencing my comments about “Jack Monroe” appearing on BBC Question Time (don’t they vet guests at all?) . I rather suspect that “No Name” was “Jack Monroe”. If not, one of her crazed supporters. Still, I am fair-minded, and it may have been just another mentally-disturbed Jew-Zionist.

I read, late last year, that a black woman in Bristol was awaiting Crown Court trial for crowdfunding for legal costs and then keeping the money for her own personal use. How is this different?

Then of course there is a long list of other “Jack Monroe” frauds, scams, and lies. Too many to repeat here.

[Update, 2 December 2023: well, the said black woman has been imprisoned for fraud but it seems that “Jack Monroe” grifts on regardless and with impunity, despite —as far as I can see— having done the same or similar: see https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/uk-england-bristol-67272603, and https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2023/oct/31/edward-colston-statue-protest-bristol-xahra-saleem-fundraiser:

A key organiser of the protest in Bristol during which a statue of the slave trader Edward Colston was toppled and dumped in the city’s harbour has been jailed for two and a half years for fraud.

Xahra Saleem, 23, admitted using more than £30,000 that was supposed to go to a charity for disadvantaged youngsters in the city to fund her lifestyle, including spending almost £6,000 on Uber rides.

…it took place soon after she had moved to Bristol and was living away from her family for the first time. At the time she had been taking drugs and drinking to excess. She also had mental health issues. He said there was little or no planning in what she did and she spent the money foolishly.

Over a 15-month period, she spent the funds on rent, an iPhone, iMac, purchases on Amazon, hair and beauty appointments, takeaways and Uber rides.

She made a string of false excuses about why she was not handing the money over to the charity – including that Black Lives Matters had advised her not to – but in the summer of 2021 admitted the money had gone.

[The Guardian]

How is that different from what “Jack Monroe” has done?]

My own impression, reading her tweets, and having seen her on TV once or twice, is that “Jack Monroe” is a dangerous woman, and one who, in other circumstances, might have been a more conventional type of criminal, or even worse.

Ha. Very true. I have never read or heard “Jack Monroe” say anything at all interesting, as far as I can recall. Maybe that is because, for her, everything revolves around her, and around her basically very limited world.

As far as I know, “Jack Monroe” rarely if ever travels beyond the UK or nearby countries such as the Netherlands, and exhibits no interest in a wider world of culture, politics, or the environment. She lives in a little —mainly London/Essex— bubble, and does not even drive a car. Maybe just as well, in view of her (supposedly past) problems with alcohol and (it is sometimes alleged) drugs.

As far as I can see, she has a very low level of education and culture, though admittedly that is concealed to some extent by a superficial glibness.

I wonder how she would score on the psychopathy test scale? My guess— off the scale.

“Grifter” and fraudster “Jack Monroe” still making empty threats, this time against Lee Anderson (again).

Sadly naive of that NHS mental health nurse, one “M Holland”.

[Update, 2 December 2023: the M. Holland tweet is now deleted or hidden].

The fact is that some people have mentally “bought into” “Jack Monroe” the way others have bought into “Covid”, the facemask nonsense, Greta Nut, Extinction Rebellion etc. Facts simply irritate them.

Ha ha! Hard to believe that there are mugs taking that sort of “Jack Monroe” nonsense as if it is really clever, as in “let’s keep our weekly shopping bill below £20 by simply…using up what we already have in the kitchen“!… It’s like something from a TV sitcom about gormless students or something.

Even harder to believe that (on paper) quite a few “Jack Monroe” supporters have (whatever they may now be worth) “degrees”, and professional qualifications in a few cases. As noted previously, few are under 50, few if any are from ethnic minorities (who presumably would never eat “Jack Monroe” swill-food), and few if any are, in a word, poor…

The mentality of “Jack Monroe” supporters is hard to fathom. “Blockheads” hardly covers it.

There is more to this than “Tories” supporting their own. “Boris” Johnson was an almost ideal NWO/ZOG candidate for Prime Minister— part-Jew, part-Muslim origins, born in New York City, brought up in the USA, Belgium etc before taking on “Brit” camouflage via Eton and Oxford.

Pro-mass-immigration. Obsessed with making money. Even more importantly, with not the slightest loyalty to anyone or anything, let alone Britain and its people, and willing to do anything for fame, money and (very much third in line) power. Uninterested in making the lives of British people better. Uninterested in stopping the migration invasion.

Quis custodiet custodes ipsos?

https://www.walesonline.co.uk/lifestyle/showbiz/jack-monroe-says-absolute-hell-27134514

The above newspaper report from an outlet called Wales Online has been the only newspaper, online or offline, to have reported today on “Jack Monroe”. It has done no investigation and simply reports what “Jack Monroe” has chosen to tell it. As journalism, on the lowest possible level of quality beyond actually inventing a story.

The Wales Online “report” mentions that “Jack, who is from Southend-on-Sea, was met with numerous messages of support” on Twitter (and quotes from three tweets) but ignores the dozens if not hundreds of tweets which, today alone, have been critical of “Jack Monroe” and her years of “grifting” and fraud.

Very poor. Written by one Sam Cook, who is described as follows: “Sam is our TV writer and showbiz journalist. Prior to working at WalesOnline, he was previously a video journalist and presenter at Local TV. Over the course of his career, Sam has interviewed several big stars including Michael Sheen, Jodie Whittaker and David Walliams. He is a member of the RTS Cymru Wales committee and currently hosts the podcast, In the Spotlight, for WalesOnline.

Rock-bottom-level scribbling.

Is “Wales Online TV reporter Sam Cook” somehow acquainted with “Jack Monroe”, apart from this “interview” (if I dignify it with such a term)?

Actually, rereading his piece, it seems to be not even just a one-sided and very poor interview, but simply a retelling of “Jack Monroe’s” own tweets, lifted straight from Twitter and then presented, superficially, as if the scribbler has had an interview with her.

Having said that, I am more interested in the fact that, despite “Jack Monroe” claiming that reporters from “Fleet Street” were ringing her doorbell (in Essex) and looking in the windows, i.e. more or less besieging her house, to the extent that she and her son (who may not even live with her anyway; that seems to be disputed) have had to flee elsewhere, not one major news outlet has reported on “Jack Monroe” today. Not one. Not even the Press pack tabloids such as the Daily Mail or Sun.

More “Jack Monroe” lies…

More tweets seen

The “Laurie Leebody” tweeter is not atypical of Twitter virtue-signallers, who express opinions despite knowing nothing of the subject-matter.

The weird thing about the whole Lee Anderson/Jack Monroe situation from the point of view of the Twitterati reaction is that hundreds of tweeters expressed disgust at “30p Lee’s” claim that he could make some kind of meal for 30p, yet the same idiotic Twitter-types fawn over “Jack Monroe” and her claim to be able to undercut Lee Anderson and make something for as little as 11p! (both claims seem, to me, to be from Alice in Wonderland home economics).

11p? That’s one or two slices of decent bread (no butter), or a tenth (?) of a packet of cheap pasta (disregarding the cost of cooking it).

Frankly, I doubt whether anything approaching a decent feed can be had for less than, say, 50p, and that would be something like a tin of cheap sardines on toast. Not too bad, though, I suppose.

Tweeter “Liz Ward” is typical of a certain Twitter type. See how she jumps into an existing conversation, insults someone who has noted the lies and scams of “Jack Monroe”, then threatens —stupidly— to “report” tweeter “Reiltin” for “harassment“. A very stupid woman, evidently. Look at her Twitter heading: pro-trade unions (which are a dead letter now), pro-“Black Lives Matter” (i.e. socio-politically idiotic) and pro-NHS (as I am, in principle, but it is not working as presently constituted).

Seems that tweeter “Reiltin” thought that “Liz Ward” is just another “Jack Monroe” “sock account”. Maybe; she has hundreds.

“Jack Monroe” is quite obviously now very frightened of having to undergo cross-examination in court, whether by Counsel, a solicitor, or a judge (a judge has the right to ask questions of any witness, though most judges most of the time exercise that right sparingly). “Jack Monroe” is in that respect rather like some of the Jew-Zionists who have targeted me in the past (and continue to do so). They are afraid to testify against me because afraid of what will come out about them.

One “Ian Cameron”, another “Jack Monroe” “white knight”…

I myself have never seen proof of any “death threats” to “Jack Monroe”. That’s just another key on her scam-piano, along with “mental health”, “other health problems”, “her child” (apparently usually lives elsewhere anyway), “activism” (occasional anti-“Tory” tweets), fake/invented “Vimes Boots Index”, “costs of moving house” etc.

You can see how easy it is for people such as “Ian Cameron” to be fooled, totally played, yet that fellow probably considers himself educated, intelligent etc. Look how poor are his reasoning skills.

Thus it is that, as of today, 412 utter mugs are still signed up to Patreon, each sending “Jack Monroe” between £3.50 and £44 a month…a “nice little earner”, in the argot of South Essex.

Short and sweet…and convincing.

Why is “Jack Monroe” not being interviewed by Essex Police about her fraudulent activities? Are they too busy seizing “racist” teddy bears?

As I said. See above.

“Excess deaths”

Well worth watching.

A combination of the crazy “lockdown” “strategy”, and the dangerous and untested “vaccine”(s); the facemask nonsense too.

New book

Happened to see, on Sky News, the Chief Economics Correspondent of the Financial Times, a Jew called Wolf (I missed the first name), who has a book out about capitalism and democracy. It sounded interesting, from what he was saying.

The presenter somehow managed to bring in “holocaust” “denial” (historical revision), though the author did not seem to want to dwell on that. I wonder how many people were thinking “how is the present state of the world and Europe the fault of so-called holocaust deniers?“; I certainly was. A side-issue at best.

Indeed, it may be that only a bang, or a series of bangs, will save us from annihilation as a culture, and as white European people(s).

Another one who is far from “poor” or “struggling“, of course.

Seems that today’s “Jack Monroe” distraction tactic is “what is your favourite pasta dish?“. In the language of the 1950s, “don’t the mugs ever twig?“— seems not, though her Patreon “grift” is ebbing away: months ago, 800+ mugs were sending her money monthly, after Jewish TV cook Nigella Lawson promoted her; that number reduced to 636 after her dishonesty etc was exposed to the light more, then 522 (yesterday). Today— 495.

Her lying is truly pathological, it seems.

I repeat, do the mugs really believe her nonsense?

Re. “Jack Monroe”:

The “Jack Monroe”/”Bootstrap Cook” storm shows no sign of abating, with more and more stories coming out about vulnerable and actually poor people (i.e. unlike “Jack Monroe”) being, in effect, fleeced.

What was her fee? Or did she do it for the publicity and msm “validation”?

Same thing happened with the threat(s) by “Jack Monroe”/”Bootstrap Cook” to sue (in defamation) MP Lee Anderson and political commentator Martin Daubney. It appears that (so far— she has about 5 months or so left in which to launch an action, in principle), not only has no legal process been launched, but there has been no pre-action correspondence as mandated by the Pre-Action Protocols of the Civil Procedure Rules. Chances are that “Bootstrap Cook” never will sue those two, or anyone else.

The Katie Hopkins case was different. Ms. Hopkins had no arguable defence and was a sitting duck. “Jack Monroe” got £24,000 damages, while the claimant’s lawyers got, in effect, Ms. Hopkin’s house, that had to be sold in order to satisfy the costs order made. About £300,000.

Ha ha. Of all the products from the “Jack Monroe” fantasy factory, the “I was so poor that I had to boil down soap to make shower gel” (and/or “shampoo“) claim must be among the top few in the utterly-ludicrous stakes. It actually makes me wonder whether she makes up ever-more-fantastical stories just to see where the gullibility of her supporters stops; meaning at what point do they wake up to such lies, and/or stop donating to her (lifestyle)?

I suppose that it is just possible that she actually did boil down soap to make shower gel, mad and implausible though that would be; in my opinion, she never did.

I myself like Waitrose Sea Moss shower gel. It costs 90p for a bottle that lasts maybe 3 weeks (with me, at least; used once daily). No-one is going to tell me that buying soap, boiling it somehow, despite energy cost, and then somehow making shower gel out of it (is that even possible?) is cheaper than spending about 30p a week on proper shower gel. Also, Sea Moss from Waitrose is not even the cheapest; no doubt Aldi, Lidl, Tesco have even cheaper alternatives.

Or one could just shower with soap, as did previous generations.

Same goes, mutatis mutandis, for shampoo, except that soap would not be so good in that role.

What I find incredible is how long she has been able to keep this going. It says a lot about how poor the UK msm is that no journalist has thought to investigate her claims or to find out which (if any) are actually true. And where are the “consumer watchdog” journalists and TV talking heads? Hundreds if not thousands of people appear to have been duped or bamboozled into sending money— tens, and maybe hundreds, of thousands of pounds.

Meanwhile, millions of people are in real poverty and get nothing, or very little.

Advice from what seems to me to be a rotten cook (not that I can cook much either, admittedly) about how to make curry by opening a tin of sardines and a can of peaches, mixing the two together with curry powder and heating the mixture in a microwave, is not very helpful, in my opinion. Frankly, it sounds terrible. I would rather open the sardines, put them on a piece of toast, then eat the peaches separately later. In fact, I should prefer a plain baked potato to that mixture.

Ha. In fact the “award” mentioned was an “Observer Food” award a few months ago, voted for by Observer readers, few of whom are “poor” or “struggling”. In fact, the voters are exactly the same sort of people (and quite likely the very same people) who support “Jack Monroe” vocally on Twitter. The Guardian is of course the sister paper to the Observer.

Activism“, meaning “promoting oneself as a campaigner, and making a lucrative career out of it“…

The present government has no idea how to stop the flow, and no real wish to stop it. Google “Coudenhove-Kalergi Plan”.

Britain must become a white northern European ethnostate (again).

It is not, fundamentally, a question of “hate” but based on the concept that only the European peoples can provide the basis for the next advance in human evolution.

667 “mugs” and/or dupes, as of today; thousands of pounds month after month, in cash (minus Patreon fees).

“Jack Monroe” is not a lawyer, and not a consumer law expert or anything similar. Her only known job (as far as I know anyway) was answering the telephone at a fire station or call centre, and that ended about 11 years ago. Her “Bootstrap Cook” thing is far more lucrative, it seems.

People in financial trouble need accurate advice, from trusted sources.

As of today, 667 “patrons” (mugs and/or those who are unaware of the storm now enveloping the “Bootstrap Cook”); I believe that there were over 800 earlier in the year.

As blogged earlier, only in a country where real journalism is all but dead would someone be able to do all that without facing serious questions after a while.

Still, look at “Boris”-idiot, who was able to fool much of the UK that he was a highly-intelligent, cultured, and serious, statesman, when none of those three are true (four things, if you include “statesman“). All it took was the fact that he had attended Eton and Oxford, and the expression of a few rote-learned Greek and Latin phrases. He also was “enabled” by a corrupt and stupid msm.

I have to say that —as readers have noticed— I am now far less favourable to “Jack Monroe” than I once was, or even since I published my assessment of her on 30 September 2022: see https://ianrobertmillard.org/2022/09/30/diary-blog-30-september-2022-including-an-assessment-of-jack-monroe-aka-the-bootstrap-cook/.

Incidentally, I thought that the monthly maximum that “Jack Monroe” was extracting from each of her “patrons” (mugs) on Patreon had been reduced to £10, but it turns out that £44 is still the max. Her monthly take-home pay from that source alone, for doing absolutely nothing, is therefore between £2,334.50 and £29,348, minus the Patreon fees, if any. In cash. Every month.

More interesting to me than the content of the above (not uninteresting though it is) is the fact that Katie Hopkins has been allowed back onto Twitter.

I also am minded to return to Twitter, and with “blue tick”, mainly in order to promote my blog, but also in order to mock (simply by being back on Twitter) the Jew-Zionist pack that had me expelled in 2018; also, to irritate the self-promoting would-be “celebrities” etc who managed to get those blue ticks previously.

I would not go quite as far as that, in that I am unsure as to whether “Jack Monroe” had fraudulent intent right from the start. I concede, though, that her evident lack of interest in paying back monies taken (or even engaging with former donors) does give a rather poor impression, at the very least.

I have come to the conclusion that “Jack Monroe”, aka “Bootstrap Cook”, is about 1% positive for society, and 99% negative…

The more I have learned about her, her behaviour, and her whole contrived sales pitch, the less I have been inclined to be favourable to her and it.

Many people really want to “believe”, though, and prefer to shut their eyes to the facts. As of today, and despite months of increasing online and even msm disquiet around the “Jack Monroe” “brand”, 665 mugs are still remitting to her up to £10 a month, every month, via the website Patreon.

I agree with her on those particular points (but not on many others), though I struggle to accept that a self-describing “journalist” seems to be only semi-literate.

I may be mistaken, but I think that I read some time ago that she was a student at Durham University. Literacy seems to be dying out in the UK, as witness the product of all the “Justins” and “Emilys” scribbling for the online Daily Mail and other news outlets.

Re. the behaviour of half-Jew Raab, people should also be asking the question as to whether Raab behaves like that because he is not up to the job. It is a frequently-seen phenomenon in people who want the status of a powerful job but who are not really up to doing it.

Williamson’s rise to power and influence (he is probably washed-up now) was indeed puzzling, a fact that I noted in my 2019 assessment of him: https://ianrobertmillard.org/2019/05/02/deadhead-mps-an-occasional-series-the-gavin-williamson-story/.

Ukraine

As I predicted, Russia will now run an “oblique war” strategy, just as the Americans have done in the past in some parts of the world. In between the first Gulf War and the second, the actual invasion of Iraq, the Americans, via both sanctions and other measures, followed by missile attacks, did what one analyst called “breaking every bone in Iraq’s body without killing it“. That meant degrading and eventually destroying the electrical power infrastructure and, inter alia, the water and sewerage systems (the latter, in Baghdad and elsewhere, relied on electricity, not gravity).

Ukraine was already a “failed state”, more or less, before this war. Now it is a facade, propped up by Western aid, arms, ammunition and military training help. Economically, it is on its knees. Now, its electricity generation and distribution systems are also being reduced.

I would not write off Russia in this war.

World population

https://www.worldometers.info/world-population/

News on the car radio this morning: there are now over 8 BILLION humans on Earth. In 1960, the figure was 3 billion. In other words, the world population is now not far from triple what it was only 62 years ago.

The detail is important, though. The rate of increase has slowed almost to a halt. Also, most of the population of the world is in a small number of countries: China, India, Pakistan, Bangladesh and a few others; and most of the increase in population is also in those and a few other countries.

The population of the USA has grown greatly in the past 60 years, but is now growing by only 0.1% annually. The same is true of many advanced countries. Some are not growing at all, others are growing only because of non-white immigration, but their core ethnic group is declining. Russia. Germany. UK. France.

There is now another factor: see https://www.theguardian.com/society/2022/nov/15/humans-could-face-reproductive-crisis-as-sperm-count-declines-study-finds.

I have previously mooted the idea that the number of human or humanoid souls rushing into incarnation (so as to experience the type of civilization we have presently while it still exists) has perhaps, arguably, come to a halt. That is, if you like, a “spiritual” explanation for the material effects noted in that newspaper report.

For me, the world must have a smaller population, perhaps 10% of what now exists, perhaps even smaller. It is equally important that that population be mainly white Northern European. See https://ianrobertmillard.org/2019/01/26/the-tide-is-coming-in-reflections-on-the-possible-end-of-our-present-civilization-and-what-might-follow/.

It is possible to lay the foundation, or the foundation of a foundation, for a later much higher level of evolution, a “super-race” if you like.

You carry in your blood the holy inheritance of your
fathers and forefathers. You do not know those who
have vanished in endless ranks into the darkness of the
past. But they all live in you and walk in your blood upon
the earth that consumed them in battle and toil and in
which their bodies have long decayed.

Your blood is therefore something holy. In it your parents gave you not only a body, but your nature. To deny your blood is to deny yourself. No one can
change it. But each decides to grow the good that one has
inherited and suppress the bad. Each is also given will
and courage.

You do not have only the right, but also the duty to pass
your blood on to your children, for you are a member of
the chain of generations that reaches from the past into
eternity, and this link of the chain that you represent
must do its part so that the chain is never broken.

But if your blood has traits that will make your children
unhappy and burdens to the state, then you have the
heroic duty to be the last. The blood is the carrier of life. You carry in it the secret of creation itself. Your blood is holy, for in it God’s will
lives.”

Either this incident was accidental, or the explosions are a false flag by the Zelensky regime, created to drag NATO into war with Russia. Either way, it was plainly not a deliberate attack on Poland, and thus should not trigger Article 5 of the NATO treaty.

In any case, now that states such as Poland, the Baltic states etc belong to NATO (which should never have happened), Article 5 should be abrogated. It is now nothing less than a dangerous trigger mechanism which may put all of Europe (and quite possible both the USA and Russia as well) to sword and flame.

This situation has been caused, at root, by the reckless NATO support for the Kiev regime. This is not our fight, and never has been.

“Jack Monroe”, “Bootstrap Cook”

Saw many tweets lambasting Waterstones for promoting the latest Jack Monroe book, Thrifty Kitchen, to be published in January 2023 at a cover price of nearly £20, but already discounted to £9.99. I wonder whether the “Bootstrap Cook” brand is now damaged beyond repair. Still, 665 mugs are still paying Jack Monroe between £3.50 and £10 a month each as an absurd act of virtue-signalling, so I imagine that she is pretty sanguine (so long as the thousands of pounds continue to roll in monthly).

I also saw this:

“Mark Lewis Lawyer” is not much of a threat to people who, even if they have libelled someone (not always as clear-cut as many imagine) have defences such as “truth”, “honest opinion”, “publication on a matter of public interest”, and/or either absolute or qualified “privilege”.

I have assessed and written about Mark Lewis several times over the years, though not recently (in fact not since 2018 or 2019). I would dispute that any of what I have written about him is actionable, but in fact he has never even threatened me with a defamation action, no doubt because he knows that he would lose, but also because he knows that my financial circumstances (both capital and income) are now such that even any victory in court would be of little use when any damages and costs awarded could never be collected. See below for more about Lewis.

As for the “Bootstrap Cook”, her libel victory over Katie Hopkins was inevitable. It took no legal skill at all, or very little, in my view, bearing in mind that, as far as the libel itself was concerned, it had occurred because Katie Hopkins had demonstrably said something untrue about Jack Monroe (apparently mistaking her for the obscure socio-political scribbler Laurie Penny) that had caused Jack Monroe serious harm. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Monroe_v_Hopkins.

See also: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laurie_Penny.

It occurs to me that the “Bootstrap Cook” may have become a little gung-ho about libel actions after her easy victory over Katie Hopkins, who not only had to pay Jack Monroe £24,000 but also to sell her house to pay the £300,000 legal costs of Jack Monroe, a goodly chunk of which went, no doubt, to “Mark Lewis Lawyer”. Probably a third or so.

Not all defamation actions are so simple, or the awards and costs so easily collected.

The (whites-only) referendum of 1992 which ended apartheid resulted with nearly 70% in favour of ending that applied concept and, in effect, in favour of handing over power to the ANC: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/1992_South_African_apartheid_referendum.

Tragic. Those idiots thought that their way of life would be mainly upheld if they appeased the ANC. How wrong they were. Gave up their historically-conferred right, and what for? A comfortable life, a swimming pool, rugby, an SUV in the drive, a beer in a sports bar, golf, and no outright war.

Had they only held on for a short while, South Africa as a white European-origin country would have survived. The collapse of the Soviet Union and its satellites meant that funds and arms to the black rebels would have been cut off. Cuba, so prominent in so-called “liberation” struggles in Africa (Angola, Mozambique, South-West Africa/Namibia etc) was also cut off from Soviet funding after 1991, and had to withdraw from Africa.

The white population could have accelerated real apartheid, laagering the white populations mainly in specific parts of the country, as already planned for, and creating autonomous black zones and regions.

South Africa could have defended itself easily, with its powerful armed forces (including a navy, an airforce, as well as army); it even had atom bombs (six, which were dismantled in the mid-1990s). Other very advanced weapons too.

Water under the bridge now? Yes, but the white and the black populations continue to suffer the effects, not of white rule but of black rule.

Ten years ago, in the epilogue of my book Bread: The Story of Greggs, I stressed the need for the astonishing increase in top earnings in Britain to be curbed. At that time this was considered a serious problem. Yet despite the best efforts of many influential public voices, this position never translated into policy.

Sadly, since then, the growing divide has become even more extreme.. The richest 10% of households now hold 43% of all the country’s wealth, according to the Office for National Statistics. The bottom 50% hold only 9%. We now have 177 billionaires in this country, up from just 29 in 2010, with a combined wealth of £653bn. The difference between very wealthy and less well-off people has become obscene.”

Policy statement

Certain key elements of our society have to be either nationalized or very very tightly-regulated by the State: utilities such as water supply, drainage, electricity and gas supply; also strategic transport, such as the rail network.

Electrical power: if people want to go off-grid, or work with the National Grid while producing their own domestic supply, then fine. I am talking about the large-scale producers— power stations, the distribution network, energy security.

Ukraine

If that is so (and I believe that it is), then why oh why keep poking and pushing Russia, arming the forces of the Jew Zelensky (armed to the teeth by the USA and UK), and supplying billions in money as well?

Liz Truss, surely a political imbecile, thinks that Ukraine can be her “Falklands Factor”. I doubt it, credulous as much of the British public often is.

As I blogged weeks and indeed months ago, the Russian high command needs to pull something out of the hat. That is now urgent.

At first there was delay, incompetence, and an inability to move quickly and to seize the initiative. Then came attritional warfare east of the Dnieper and along the Sea of Azov and Black Sea littoral. The Russian superiority in numbers and armament slowly won the day, but then that attritional superiority and movement, glacial as it was, stalled. The Western states began to supply good-quality and/or high-tech weaponry to the Kiev regime, as well as money and other supplies (eg medical supplies).

Russia has lost the initiative now. The Kiev-regime forces have the initiative, and are pressing forward. When they take a town or village, they shoot any people living there who do not want war with Russia.

The Jew Zelensky has declared it his aim and intent to take not only all the territory gained by Russia in 2022 but also the pro-Russian areas of the Donbass etc, and even the Crimea, where the population is at least 90% Russian, maybe even 95%.

I note that the Jew Zelensky is asking the USA to attack Russia as a “warning” not to use tactical nuclear weapons. Nothing would be more calculated to cause WW3. Zelensky is only a puppet of the New World Order, and he knows that his regime can only win by riding on the back of NATO power.

As things stand, the best result for Russia would be some kind of WW1 stagnant front. That is why the Russian high command needs to think outside the box, to regain the initiative, to unbalance the Zelensky forces, and/or to completely gain control of the theatre.

Predictions by Baba Vanga

https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/world-news/mystic-baba-vangas-ukraine-war-28171680

A Russian soldier’s wife broke down in tears during a wiretapped phone call to her husband after hearing of mystic Baba Vanga’s predictions for the Ukraine war.

The woman seemed wrought with emotion during the call which was uploaded to YouTube by the Intelligence Directorate of the Ukrainian Ministry of Defence.

The Bulgarian mystic made a series of predictions about the world before her death in 1996 – with claims that many have come true.

Among many major events, the mystic has been credited with accurately predicting 9/11, Brexit and Covid-19.

According to Vanga’s predictions, this will all last until 2024,” the wife said on the call.

She also predicted that Russia would become “lord of the world” after Europe is reduced to a “wasteland”.

She reportedly told writer Valentin Sidorov: “All will thaw, as if ice, only one remain untouched — Vladimir’s glory, glory of Russia.”

[Daily Mirror].

Interesting, anyway.

I blogged recently once or twice about “Jack Monroe”, aka “Bootstrap Cook”, and penned an assessment of her, she having become a minor public figure over the past decade: https://ianrobertmillard.org/2022/09/30/diary-blog-30-september-2022-including-an-assessment-of-jack-monroe-aka-the-bootstrap-cook/.

Of course, tweeter “@Scam_Watch_Ltd” is (apparently) under a misapprehension: Martin Daubney and Lee Anderson could not bring any counterclaim as such, because there has not (yet) been a claim by “Jack Monroe”. It is true that a counterclaim is merely itself a kind of claim, legally, and capable of being self-supporting, but I doubt whether either Daubney or Anderson are silly enough to sue “Jack Monroe”, bearing in mind her uncertain solvency and the sheer pointlessness of doing so.

The “Bootstrap Cook” did successfully sue columnist Katie Hopkins, but there were special factors: Katie Hopkins libelled Jack Monroe, because she, Katie Hopkins, was simply mistaken on the facts. She, Katie Hopkins, should have swallowed her pride and compromized on the basis offered by Jack Monroe. That not having been done, the matter went to the bitter end (never in doubt), and Katie Hopkins ended up having to sell her house to pay Jack Monroe the £24,000 damages and also, more importantly, the lawyers on both sides. Sometimes discretion really is the better part of valour.

There never was any doubt that Jack Monroe was libelled, and that that was obvious from the start. A child could have litigated that case, so there is no need to think that her self-promoting solicitor, Mark Lewis, now resident and/or domiciled in Israel, is any combination of Oliver Wendell Holmes and Perry Mason.

Katie Hopkins was stupid to defend the matter because, firstly, she had no defence and also, secondly, had valuable assets to cover any loss at court.

It seems unlikely, to me, that Martin Daubney and/or Lee Anderson will really be sued in libel by “Jack Monroe”. As previously blogged, it is even in doubt, despite her tweets, whether her previously-used lawyer, the egregious Jew-Zionist solicitor, Mark Lewis, has been “instructed” (though he may well have been consulted).

So… from just two (of several) enterprises which have been giving him money, Burns has been, for years, blagging a total of at least £65,000 a year (quite possibly far more now), for only 192 hours work per year, i.e. less than five 40-hour weeks per year.

…and much of what is now pumped out by (UK) government, and msm TV, radio, and Press is designed to condition the public to getting used to a poorer life in every way. Examples include such as the NHS providing ever-worse care; the police rarely doing their proper job but also acting as a poundland KGB; lower pay; lower State benefits; power cuts and blackouts; a more meagre choice of supermarket foodstuffs etc.

I disagree with the idea that this is only because we are (notionally) “led” by idiots such as “Boris” Johnson, David Cameron-Levita, Liz Truss —Liz Truss!…Jesus Christ!— etc. Behind those monkeys stand the organ-grinders, and their several but connected agendas. “The Great Reset”, the Coudenhove-Kalergi Plan etc form one overarching cabbalistic agenda.

“Jack Monroe”, the “Bootstrap Cook”: an assessment

I have blogged (briefly) previously a few times about the person known as “Jack Monroe” (originally Melissa Hadjicostas, half-Greek Cypriot), whose rather clever nom de plume is “Bootstrap Cook”.

The name Jack Monroe is now her official name, it having been adopted by deed poll.

In the past, I was content to be at least neutral towards “Bootstrap Cook”, in that I felt that anyone putting almost anything into the public domain that might help the millions of financially-struggling people in the UK deserved at least a chance.

This is what Wikipedia has to say: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_Monroe; her own website is here: https://cookingonabootstrap.com/.

Incidentally, this blog is written in the English language, and therefore does not refer to a woman (whatever her views or proclivities) as “they” or “them”.

“Ideological” criticism of “Bootstrap Cook” has come mainly from two directions. The first group would be those connected to or supportive of the “Conservative” regimes of 2010-present. They tend to say that there is no justification for the campaigning of “Bootstrap Cook” to raise State benefits etc, and that any food poverty that exists exists because the individuals subject to it cannot “budget” properly, or do not know how to cook cheap wholesome food.

An ignorant point of view (though not without a small kernel of truth, as with many basically lying narratives), which infuriates many, especially when expressed by the likes of Iain Dunce Duncan Smith, the MP who has also been a huge expenses blodger and fraudster, and who claimed vast amounts on his Parliamentary expenses (even a £39 hotel breakfast) while —as Secretary of State for the DWP— taking money away from people living in real poverty.

The second group who tend to criticize “Bootstrap Cook” are those who agree with much of her campaigning on benefits etc, but who say that she actually “enables” attacks on benefit recipients by reason of her claims that a family of 4 can be fed well on £20 a week or less.

Now, however, a third group has joined the fray, being those who claim that they and/or others have been taken for a ride by “Bootstrap Cook”, and that she is a “grifter”, or even an outright fraud, who has sold goods and services which were never delivered. These critics also claim that much of the “Bootstrap Cook” back-story is untrue, or embellished.

For example, it is said that “Bootstrap Cook” was either never in poverty herself, or was so for no more than 18 months. It is said that at least part of her financial difficulties were caused by her own (apparently past) alcohol and/or drug abuse. It is said that she makes up implausible stories about her past financial predicament, such as “having to” sell her little son’s beloved dinosaur toy to raise money (really? How much money would that raise? £1? £2? And how cruel is that, assuming the story to be true?).

It is also said that her parents are not badly-off financially, that they own buy-to-let property, and that her paternal grandfather was a millionaire. In other words, that “Bootstrap Cook” always had a financial lifeline. I have no idea whether, or to what extent, that may be, or may have been, the case.

Recently, following a storm of criticism on Twitter, “Bootstrap Cook” deleted her Twitter account, though others claim that she is merely taking a 40-hour “rest” from Twitter, and will return. Why 40 hours and not (as with Jesus Christ) 40 days, or whatever, I have no idea.

One of my few blog posts which mentioned “Bootstrap Cook”: https://ianrobertmillard.org/2022/08/25/diary-blog-25-august-2022-with-a-few-thoughts-about-poverty-and-living-through-hard-times/.

One aspect that interested me, as a former barrister, was the tendency of “Bootstrap Cook” to threaten some of her critics with legal action. A few years ago, “Bootstrap Cook” sued Katie Hopkins in libel.

Ms. Hopkins had libelled “Bootstrap Cook” entirely mistakenly as to the facts, had no defence whatever, and should have backed down and got out with minimal damage when she could have but, like many maximalisti, found sorry the hardest word, and so was hammered: £24,000 in damages, and very large legal costs. Ms. Hopkins had to sell her house in St. Leonard’s (the best residential district in Exeter) in order to pay those legal costs.

“Bootstrap Cook” retained as her solicitor Mark Lewis, the Zionist Jew who now lives in Israel, though he has also a professional foothold in London. His no-win no-fee cases have often been controversial.

I have blogged about Lewis in previous years, most recently in 2019: https://ianrobertmillard.org/2019/01/11/update-re-mark-lewis-lawyer-questions-are-raised/.

I have to wonder how nice a person “Bootstrap Cook” is, if she is on friendly terms with someone such as Lewis.

As soon as people started suggesting, a month or two ago, that “Bootstrap Cook” was somewhere between “grifter” and fraudster, out came the Twitter threat that Mark Lewis and libel would be wheeled out (frankly, not so much of a threat— by no means have all of Lewis’s cases been brought to a successful conclusion, and when he was censured and fined by the Solicitors’ Regulation Authority about 4 years ago, his Counsel said that his fine should be reduced because his only possessions were his clothes, a mobility scooter. and a private pension worth £70 a week).

In fact, when “Bootstrap Cook” threatened libel action against Conservative Party MP Lee Anderson [Con, Ashfield] (in May of this year), nothing ever came of it, as far as I know:

Food journalist and activist Jack Monroe hinted at legal action against Anderson after he commented in an interview that “She’s taking money off some of the most vulnerable people in society and making an absolute fortune on [sic] the back of people”.[36] [Wikipedia].

It may be that Anderson will face legal action, but I have certainly not seen any news about an action having been launched. See https://www.theguardian.com/uk-news/2022/may/15/food-writer-jack-monroe-sues-tory-mp-claims-she-makes-fortune-poor-lee-anderson; and https://www.echo-news.co.uk/news/20141345.southends-jack-monroe-sue-lee-anderson/.

The Guardian says “sues“, but the Independent said “hints at suing“, and I have seen nothing on the Mark Lewis Twitter output to the effect that he ever was “instructed” (the Guardian, again) on the matter. He may have been, he may not have been. I might add that all the news reports are from 15-16 May 2022; nothing since then.

Was Anderson right, though? As I have said, I was willing to cut “Bootstrap Cook” some slack, because in recent years, the past ~15 years, the social security system has become inadequate, pay for work has also become generally inadequate, and millions are struggling both to eat and keep sheltered and warm. My view was that any useable advice was, well, useful.

I still think that (despite the fact that, to me, many of the recipes of “Bootstrap Cook” do look like a dog’s dinner, and despite the fact that many disagree with her costings etc).

More serious criticism is that she has actually been making a pretty good living out of Patreon donations, while never or rarely providing the extras offered in exchange.

When I last looked, “Bootstrap Cook” had at least 800 Patreon donors giving a minimum of £1 a month. £800 a month. In itself not bad. When you consider that the suggested minimum is £3 a head, the total increases to £2,400 a month (perhaps). I have seen a tweet where the tweeter claims, truthfully or otherwise, to have been donating £44 a month. Well, you see the point. “Bootstrap Cook” must have an income from Patreon alone of between £800 and (?) perhaps as much as £8,000 a month. Or more. That’s before one takes into account book sales, other donations, paid (?) TV appearances, other appearances etc. We do not know.

Not that “Bootstrap Cook” claims poverty, these days. No, she claims, as I understand it (and perhaps truthfully) a degree of “precariousness” in her life and finances, and she is certainly not alone in that. It is almost the norm in the Britain of 2022.

“Bootstrap Cook” has a number of defence mechanisms. One is to threaten defamation actions, but the more usual tactic is to claim the shield of disability, and she has about two dozen options there.

A further defence tactic is, I read, to set her fanatical fans (she apparently calls them “flying monkeys“) onto any critics, and I have certainly seen tweets where mentally-disturbed fans have come close to suggesting violence against anyone daring to utter critical words.

The problem here is that “Bootstrap Cook” has become a totem for a certain tribe of virtue-signallers. Not really “the poor” but more the sort of people who like to think that they are socially-progressive etc. Facts do not matter to those people, belonging to the “right” tribe does. cf. “Covid”, Ukraine, “Black Lives Matter” and, of course, “FBPE/Remain/Rejoin” etc.

When you consider that someone who claims to be able to feed a family of 4 for £20 a week might be said to be, arguably or in effect, saying that UK benefits are perfectly OK and need not be increased, is that really something positive or not?

Some tweets seen about the issues raised:

It is better to be a little naive than very cynical, but the world makes it hard…

As many have noted, this whole Bootstrap Cook thing is more like a creepy cult than anything. It’s as if a lot of fairly affluent or at least not poor people have decided that supporting “Bootstrap Cook” —right or wrong— validates their evenings of going out, their Netflix subscription, their holidays in Cuba or Costa Rica, their new cars, and in fact their whole comfortable existence.

In fact, it reminds me of the “indulgences” sold by the Roman Catholic Church before the Reformation.

Not that that is necessarily the fault of the “Bootstrap Cook” herself.

Look at the loonies below, believing what they want to believe:

Well, if you can believe that the “royal” Mulatta is a sadly-abused “princess”, then believing that a poverty campaigner, who seems to be making “a nice little earner” out of it and naive followers, is a modern Joan of Arc, must be easy enough.

Well, that’s enough. There are hundreds of other tweets in similar vein.

As blogged previously, my view is that Bootstrap Cook’s stuff may well be of interest to many, though —as already said— much of it looks to me like carbohydrate-heavy food often presented like a dog’s dinner.

I do not think that “Bootstrap Cook” set out to defraud anyone, and it may be that she has no such intention now, but it does seem that legitimate questions about her fundraising have been asked by a number of donors, but not answered by her.

If people think that they are somehow accomplishing something by subsidizing the not-uncomfortable lifestyle of that person, then that is their business, in a sense, but it is legitimate for others, arguably more clear-minded, to ask “where is the money going?“, “is any of this true?“, and “are people being tapped for money under false pretences?“.

I can also see that her fans seem to be, almost entirely, not the truly poor but more those who are not “poor” but who support her “non-binary” profile, the “gender bender” aspects, and the general “government must do more for the poor” activism aspect.

I think that it is legitimate to question, not only “where the money went” (or goes), but also, whether in reality Bootstrap Cook has actually influenced government, or large enterprises such as ASDA (it seems that one or two supermarket chains were actually paying her for advice or consultancy or something).

Poverty is a huge problem in the UK now. Anyone claiming to be expert in it must expect searching inquiry.

Is this all really just a morning TV virtue-signal writ large? After all, at the end of the day, the decisive question is what government does or fails to do.

I personally have no animus against “Bootstrap Cook”, but my view of her has certainly become far less positive over the years since I first heard of her.

I do think, also, that if you claim that a person can feed healthily on £5 a week, you are really playing into the hands of swine such as Dunce Duncan Smith, Esther McVey, Therese Coffey etc.

I think that anyone wanting to help “the poor” could probably do so more effectively via GoFundMe or local foodbanks than by subsidizing the lifestyle of “Bootstrap Cook”. Perhaps I am mistaken, but that is my firm view and opinion.

On a wider point, we have in the UK this msm thing whereby TV channels or shows like to have a “go-to” list. Brexit discussion? Call Farage. Free speech discussion? Call Toby Young. Poverty discussion? Call Jack Monroe. And so on.

Thus you get “activists” who are really just “famous for being famous activists”. The Caroline Criado-Perez phenomenon. A hundred thousand or a million Twitter followers but, outside Twitter etc, really unknown and without real influence.

Of course, the msm now like to feature (supposed) “experts” who are, if possible, young, female, and black. “Bootstrap Cook” is not black, but as “Meatloaf” once opined, “two out of three ain’t bad“…

Well, there it is. I prefer to concentrate on other and larger issues really, but felt that I should examine the above first, after the recent Twitter storm in a teacup.

All that the doomed “Conservative” Party had to do, to consign Labour to the bin, was select a leader to succeed “Boris”-idiot who was even slightly competent. It failed to do so. Endex.

The implications are clear: either the Con MPs get rid of Liz Truss as soon as they can, and put in someone who at least looks semi-competent, or the Con Party will be near-finished by next year. Same goes, of course, for Kwarteng, Cleverly, and Coffey.

TV detective drama

I, among others, including recently Peter Hitchens, have written about how NWO/ZOG propaganda is now embedded in TV dramas, “soaps”, ads etc. See https://ianrobertmillard.org/2018/12/10/tv-ads-and-soaps-are-the-propaganda-preferred-by-the-system-in-the-uk/.

A good example was seen the other night. A new detective drama called Karen Pirie.

Set partly a few decades ago, partly in the contemporary era, even the older setting, in St. Andrews, Scotland, decades ago, had a black character appear. In a small town in what seems to be a bleak part of Scotland (I have never been there). Then we are introduced to the two detectives now investigating the cold case. One a small Scottish woman, the other a black or half-caste…

I do not have a great deal of patience with films or TV shows. If they do not catch the interest after 15 mins, switch— OFF. I gave this one 20 mins. A bloody bore, poorly conceived and worse-acted.

This evening, I saw an old episode of Wycliffe [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wycliffe_(TV_series)]. All characters more or less credible, and what I like best about Wycliffe is that it manages to catch the atmosphere of Cornwall well, from what I recall from when I lived there. It does not rely on cliche (most of the time, at least).

Update, 3 November 2022

In the month since I wrote about “Jack Monroe”, the “Bootstrap Cook”, the storm around her murky financial arrangements has become fiercer yet. A few tweets:

Her “free lawyer” is or was the egregious Mark Lewis, a Jew who lives in Israel, though he is connected to a small law firm in the UK.

I have blogged extensively about Lewis in the past:

He is sometimes described, inaccurately, as having become a “pro bono” lawyer who works for free, out of quasi-charitable motives, whereas he in fact seems to work on a “no win no fee” basis, which is not at all the same thing.

“Jack Monroe” has tweeted that she still has several/many months in which to sue the MP Lee Anderson and the politico Martin Daubney. In theory, up to a year after the alleged libel, but the relevant Practice Directions do say that the courts will still expect any claim to be made expeditiously, so not, e.g., 10 or 11 months after the alleged libel.

The courts may (probably will) penalize even a successful defamation claimant (“plaintiff”, as was) in both award and costs if the action is not brought expeditiously.

How do I know this? Because, though not now a barrister, I was one until a pack of Jews cobbled together a false complaint against me in 2014 (I was disbarred, wrongfully and illegally, in 2016): see https://ianrobertmillard.org/2017/07/09/the-slide-of-the-english-bar-and-uk-society-continues-and-accelerates/. I am rusty on the law here and there, but keep up to some extent (enough).

As my blog assessment said. Virtue-signalling Guardian/Observer readers for the most part.

[regular readers of the blog will be aware that I often repost tweets by @EternalEnglish, who however has now had his Twitter “account” “suspended” (probably removed permanently). It happened to me in 2018, and of course has now happened to most of the interesting Twitter “accounts” formerly online, such as those of David Icke, the London Forum, Katie Hopkins, Patriotic Alternative, Alison Chabloz etc. So much for the “free society”].

…and what on Earth will it accomplish to stand in the street with a placard? Ha ha…

I think that I shall self-censor at this point…

Ellwood again. The “Conservative” MP from some kind of diplomatic or intelligence family background, who is now a colonel in the Reserves (TA, as was) 77th Brigade: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tobias_Ellwood; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/77th_Brigade_(United_Kingdom)#Activities.

Why? Because the Jew-Zionist element always tries to destroy freedom of expression, particularly for non-Jews. Wake up.

Jesus H. Christ!

Still, if we had any real social-national party or movement, an economic shock like that might be a gamechanger politically, just as the 1929 Wall Street Crash and the consequent/subsequent Great Depression was for Hitler and the NSDAP.

The NHS 111 service is near-to-useless.

I favour a free-at-point-of-use NHS service, but only for British people, not for “health tourists” and all manner of riff-raff. How such a service can be funded is an open question. How such a service can be staffed is another question. The aim should be for the UK to train its own doctors and nurses, for one thing, and they should be forced to work in the NHS, and not allowed to emigrate to the white Commonwealth or elsewhere, for several years (in the case of doctors, perhaps 10 years).

Back in the 1970s, even 1980s, despite many Press stories about deficiencies, the NHS did work, most of the time. Now, mass immigration and NHS maladministration has ruined it.

Management, or rather mismanagement, is one of the really major problems with the NHS.

I see that the propaganda campaign is being readied to pretend to the public that they, the public, are to blame for the NHS not working properly, because they, the public, are actually requesting the services that the NHS is supposed to provide.

This winter, the NHS will not easily be able to blame the 2020-2022 “Covid” “panicdemic” for its inability to run itself properly, and it has been 3 or 4 years since other illnesses or conditions (eg “flu”) were blamed (almost every winter for many years).

If and when the UK has a real government, it must tackle the healthcare mess and the associated adult social care mess as a priority.

One idea might be to use a “dedicated” or “ring-fenced” tax only for the NHS. “National Insurance”, which is merely another tax on top of income tax, is paid into general government funds. If it, or a large part of it, were only usable for health services, the taxpayers would accept it far more readily, especially under a suitable name such as the unoriginal but easily-understood “Health Services Tax”. It is claimed that that would be less efficient; I think not.

Another point: blaming the consumer, or worker, or citizen, now seems to be “a thing” in the UK.

NHS not working right? It’s because Joe Public actually has a medical problem and wants it dealt with. Water shortage? It’s the fault of the public, because they actually want to have a bath or shower, and to water their plants. People cannot live on peanuts? It’s their fault, for being unable to “budget”, or cook, or enjoy “fasting” (going without food— yes, the Daily Telegraph suggested even that recently).

From the horse’s mouth: the effects of the half-****** “Brexit” carried out by part-Jew chancer and liar “Boris”— an increase in non-European, non-white, immigration.

Of course, it is all too easy to eulogize the past, but a basically white Northern European society can progress; in our age, the black/brown societies cannot, which is why the forces of Evil support and promote “multiculturalism”, because it results in a never-ending cycle, the Eternal Recurrence, as Nietzsche put it.

In the 1970s, whatever problems Britain had could be solved, in principle. Now, with a far larger population generally (70 million instead of about 56 million) and huge non-white populations as part of that, I am not optimistic that problems can be solved. The direction of travel is downward.

Quite. Tweeter “@sorrelish” is right. Sophie Corcoran must come from the “George Osborne” school of social observation.

Seems that Sophie wants to make a well-paid “career” of making would-be “edgy” socio-political remarks, though naturally not “antisemitic” ones (the acid test…), in the manner of wastes of space such as Tom Harwood or, previously, Katie Hopkins, Toby Young etc.

Would-be “edgy”, rather than truly iconoclastic…

Ukraine

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2022/jun/10/ukraine-casualty-rate-russia-war-tipping-point

The Russian forces in Ukraine east of the Dnieper river are doing what I expected, though far more slowly than I expected. They are squeezing and trying to encircle the large Ukrainian forces in and around the Donbass (southeastern Ukraine). This is the main industrial area of the country and is already, effectively and mostly, in Russian hands, with pockets of resistance in places.

I had expected Russian forces to advance north and south from the areas of Kharkov and the Sea of Azov coast respectively, then forming a line through Zaporozhye and Dnipro, and up to/down from Kharkov, thus cutting off all Ukrainian forces east of that line.

The Russians have not done what I expected, perhaps because of supply problems, perhaps also because of the apparently successful Ukrainian counter-attacks in the Kharkov area. The Russians may have redeployed forces formerly in the Kharkov area further south, around Izyum and Lisichansk.

The present focus seems to be on the town of Severodonetsk.

Instead, there seems to be an attempt at a more limited encirclement, involving about a third of the area mentioned above.

The Guardian is reporting that Ukrainian casualties, both killed and wounded, may top 1,000 per day. Even the lower estimate of 600 per day would not be sustainable for long. The Russian attrition rate is believed to be far less now, partly because the Russian forces have a longer-range capacity:

“...with an artillery overmatch of 10 or 15 to one, according to the Ukrainians, it may well be that the invaders’ casualty rate is far lower at the moment, because they are able to deal death from a greater distance to defenders who cannot see them.” [Guardian]

Ammunition is certainly running short on the Ukrainian side, again by their own admission. Vadym Skibitsky, the deputy head of Ukraine’s military intelligence, has said Ukraine is using 5,000 to 6,000 artillery rounds a day, and has “almost used up” its stockpile of Soviet 152mm standard shells. It is now relying on Nato-standard 155mm howitzers; it is unclear how many of these it has.” [Guardian]

Western support is still in place, as shown by the UK announcement to supply a handful of – perhaps three – multiple rocket launchers this week, even if Kyiv said almost immediately it wanted many times more. But it is Russia’s forces that have found a way to advance in the Donbas, raising the question of whether the three-month war is at another turning point.” [Guardian]

If Russian forces can succeed even in this more limited encirclement, they will capture huge numbers of prisoners (usable as bargaining chips), and territory, but also will more easily be able to overrun much of the territory of Ukraine east of the Dnieper and south of Kiev and Kharkov.

If the Russian forces succeed in their present operation, then I would expect them to attempt something akin to the larger encirclement of territory suggested at the top of this blog post. There may be relatively little opposition by that time. Also, the open and flat rural landscape will play to Russia’s strengths.

At that point (assuming that Zaporozhye, Dnipro, and perhaps Kharkov are all taken or bypassed), a very large assault on Kiev might be prepared.

I am assuming that the Ukrainian side is talking about their shortages of arms and ammunition in the hope that the UK and US (etc) will provide more and better. Maybe they will, maybe not.

That might be the case were Kiev seriously threatened. NWO/ZOG seems to want to provoke further conflict, so who knows?

How can a more advanced society be created with such as those? In fact, how can even a reasonably-decent society, such as ours still (just-about) is, even be maintained? It cannot.

Desperate fighting, akin to the WW2 battle for Stalingrad, though on a far smaller scale.

So constructed ~1972. Ironic that the Soviet Union finally became at least liveable only a decade or so before its collapse.

The Jew Zelensky and his whole cabal know that their main chance is to lure the NATO allies deeper and deeper into this war, until —in effect— NATO forces are fighting Russian forces. Unfortunately, the largely Jewish-controlled or strongly influenced msm in the UK, USA and elsewhere are pushing Zelensky’s line, and his demand for more and heavier weaponry, and for more ammunition, rockets etc. If acceded to, that could lead to a nuclear war in Europe, and indeed across the USA, as well as across Russia.
