An opinion poll that should be perused closely by, inter alia, the police (including Hampshire Police, Gloucestershire Police, and Essex Police), and the “Clown” Prosecution Service, among other bodies.

I republish some of my own relevant experiences below:

Talking point

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/debate/article-14385273/genz-dictator-democracy-starmer-trump.html

Britain’s in decline. Democracy has lost its way. Yes, many would squeal – but it’s no wonder so many of my generation believe it’s time for a dictator: CHARLIE DOWNES offers a provocative view.

Young people in the UK – born, like me, in the 21st century – are constantly told how lucky we are to have ‘freedom’.

To our parents and grandparents, steeped in the baggage of the Second World War, ‘freedom’ is the ultimate democratic right.

But many in Generation Z can see that our ‘free’ society has degenerated into instability and uncertainty.

If ‘freedom’ means being unable to afford a home, to live in overcrowded and overpriced rented accommodation, to work soulless jobs in order to pay sky-high taxes, and to have no sense of belonging or identity, perhaps freedom is not what we need.

So it’s no shock to read that a recent survey commissioned by Channel 4 found that 52 per cent of Britons aged 13 to 27 have lost faith in democracy and would welcome a dictator – a strong leader ‘who does not have to bother with parliament and elections’.

A third of my generation believe ‘the UK would be a better place if the Army was in charge’.

Other polls have found that many of us are likely to back the death penalty, while a Mail on Sunday survey this week found that two-thirds of us favour castrating sex offenders.

These reports have caused much alarm among liberal commentators – for whom democracy and the social contract are sacrosanct.

They don’t want to face the brutal truth that the social contract has been ripped up by a political class that has long refused to put the interests of ordinary British people first, or to deliver on our repeatedly expressed wishes at the ballot box – on immigration, crime, tax and much else.

Drug use, shoplifting and defrauding the state go unpunished. Millions of economically burdensome migrants from places and cultures vastly different from our own are invited in, housed and fed at our expense – and we are attacked and slurred as bigots if we complain.

As for democracy, it’s obvious from the visible decline in our country – which worsened after the 2008 financial crash and which has accelerated under Keir Starmer – that it isn’t delivering the right results.

Our supposed parliamentary rule is either an illusion, an anachronism or, if it does exist, clearly not fit for purpose.

After Labour’s landslide win last summer, it rapidly dawned on many of us who had voted for the first time that we were essentially politically impotent.

Britain is crying out for leadership that can steer the country to safety.

Gen Z’s demands are not unreasonable: fairer taxes, affordable homes, cheaper energy and an end to unlimited immigration.

We ask that everyone contributes their fair share and that crime is properly punished.

We want to trust our neighbours, and talk to them in our own language. We want a sense of identity and belonging.

Which is why, I believe, we now need decisive action: a leader who would declare a state of emergency in response to illegal migration.

Without a strong leader who can reverse deindustrialisation, neoliberal economic policy and mass immigration, our country seems condemned to a future of being riddled with crime, political strife and social unrest.

Yet perhaps, out of this ongoing catastrophe, renewal will come.

History, after all, has a way of throwing up great men or women when the hour calls for them.

…young people in particular recognise that political leaders of all parties have made an abysmal mess of running things. No wonder so many believe it’s time for a radical alternative.

It sounds drastic – because it is drastic.

But otherwise we all face the continued rule of grey, miserable politicians with grey, miserable ideas, dragging us towards disaster.

And Gen Z will not tolerate that much longer.

[Charlie Downes, writing in the Daily Mail]

The author seems to be about 24, and possibly a member or supporter of Reform UK: https://www.linkedin.com/in/cfdownes.

Where to start? Firstly, “freedom” and “democracy” are not the same concept or even similar concepts. The linkage, though it exists, is loose.

I examined the idea of democracy some years ago on the blog:

Of course, if people lack shelter, clothing, warmth, food, other needs and/or wants, then “freedom”, let alone the existing form of supposed “democracy”, will not seem of the most pressing importance.

One has to wonder why the Daily Mail is allowing such views, those of this Charlie Downes, to be blasted so explosively on its pages. It seems to me that the main reason is that the Conservative Party is as good as dead among the vast majority of the electorate, and the Labour Party is in a similar condition except that it is still psychologically embedded in the mentality of the voters of much of the North of England and, also, most of the blacks and browns vote Labour en masse, and they are now 20% of the whole electorate, much more in the great cities.

Labour support among white people (the people formerly known as British) is no more than about 10% (at most), in reality. Maybe only 5%.

The Daily Mail’s owners, and others, now look for a party neither socialist nor national socialist/social nationalist but which may capture mass support. Reform UK.

A quasi-dictatorial period may be necessary in the UK, but only if the policies are those I have promulgated on the blog over the past 8 years. Basically social national policies. Anything else is useless and wrongheaded.

This country is just mad now. Also, can you imagine how much this Tuckett person must get, not only in salary but also in generous expenses if he can travel weekly, or more often, from his home in Finland to London? All that might even be acceptable…were he and his office(s) of any use whatsoever.

Before us, I see two possible futures: One where the United Kingdom is remembered as a cautionary tale — the lone state that took the doctrine of modern liberalism (mass immigration, social egalitarianism, net zero) to its logical conclusion, and descended into poverty, social unrest, ethnoreligious balkanisation, and civil war. Britain gave birth to liberalism, after all, so in a way this would be quite a fitting end. The other is one in which a new, daring elite forgoes all niceties and brings order to the British Isles. Perhaps we are seen as a pariah state for a while, having gone to war with modern liberalism — but when all is said and done, our nation is secure. I know which one I prefer.”

The Conservative Party remains in complete denial. It thinks Reform will soon disappear and voters will forget the Tory years of broken promises and national decline. When will the once great party of Churchill and Thatcher wake up and draft a plan to put its house in order? The country still hasn’t been given even the beginnings of an explanation for why the party failed so comprehensively in the painful years of May, Boris, Truss and Sunak. Losing 251 MPs didn’t do the trick. Reform overtaking the Conservative Party in membership and opinion poll strength hasn’t shaken Badenoch or her throwback shadow cabinet. Even an exodus of donors has provoked little signs of life or resolve. The top tier of the party still thinks they’re the natural party of govt and that Labour unpopularity will eventually restore sense to the vast bulk of former Tory voters. Most Tory commentators are going along with this complacency. The lack of urgency and the modesty of Badenoch’s first 100 days really shocks me. I am beginning to contemplate that the party’s decline might be terminal.

What is the Israeli/Jewish excuse this time?

In reality, everything that has been happening in all parts of occupied Palestine relates to the plan to settle immigrant Jews everywhere, then to expand Israeli Lebensraum and to create, over time, a “Greater Israel”:

It’s not hard to figure out why Reform is now surging in the polls.

Millions of hardworking, tax-paying, law-abiding people in this country are utterly frustrated & fed-up with the elite consensus that has been imposed on them from above for the last 30 years.

An elite consensus that’s defined by a deliberate and extreme policy of mass, uncontrolled immigration which is making us poorer not richer, is driving crime and ushering in millions of people from culturally inferior and incompatible nations.

An elite consensus that’s given us broken borders which make a mockery of our claim to be a self-governing, sovereign nation, are allowing an assortment of murderers, rapists and criminals onto our streets, and which our so-called “leaders” refuse to fix because they’re more interested in helping strangers than protecting their own citizens and children.

An elite consensus that’s ripped open our economy to a rampant and relentless globalisation that benefits an alliance of urban elites, global corporations and immigrant workers but which is smashing the working class apart and hollowing out our national economy.

And an elite consensus that would rather see Britain waste billions of £££ overseas each year on foreign aid and trying to maintain our failing asylum system than redirect all this money from British taxpayers into fixing Britain and helping British families before reaching out to the wider world.

For much of the last thirty years this broken consensus has been imposed on the Forgotten Majority in this country by both Left and Right, by both Labour and the Tories —by the Uniparty. They are the architects of the disaster that you see around you today, of the managed decline of a once great and proud nation that you used to know and love but today no longer recognise.

And so just as you’d never invite back an architect who took the home that had been loved for generations and destroyed it the people out there are now starting to reject the architects of what they see around them today —endless, unavoidable, embarrassing, never-ending national decline.

They might not think Nigel Farage has all the answers. They might not think Reform is the perfect vessel. But what unites them is a feeling that is far more powerful than any one leader or party can convey. “We want our country back”.

This is why we are now starting to see wholesale and historic change in the national polls and, soon, the country. Because what I think we might be about to witness in British politics is not just a revolt against an out-of-touch elite minority but a full scale revolution against the Uniparty and all that it stands for.”

“‘No medical evidence’ to support Lucy Letby’s conviction, expert panel finds.

Babies the former nurse Lucy Letby was convicted of murdering were in fact the victims of “bad medical care” or deteriorated as a result of natural causes, an expert panel has concluded.

Outlining what the senior Conservative MP David Davis described as “one of worst injustices of recent times”, the international team told a press conference there was “no medical evidence” to support claims of deliberate harm.

A panel of experts, chaired by Dr Shoo Lee, examined the cases of 17 babies whom Letby was charged with murdering or harming at the Countess of Chester hospital in north-west England.

Lee, an emeritus professor at the University of Toronto, said said the 14 experts had found “so many problems with the medical care” of the babies and nothing to support the claim they were attacked. “In summary, ladies and gentlemen, we did not find any murders,” he told a press conference in Westminster on Tuesday.”

[Guardian]

I personally have no fixed opinion at all on the matter (and have not read up on it in any great detail), but the way that the NHS now is, I do find it impossible to ignore the possibility that the unfortunate babies in question were not murdered but simply died as a result of poor care.

Also, if the Lucy Letby convictions turn out to have been unsafe, it would not be the first time that events triggering huge public anger will have also resulted in egregious miscarriages of justice.

David Davis has courage. He would have made a far better leader of the Conservative Party than any who actually were elected in the past 25-30 years.

Historical note

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Charles_Coughlin

Charles Edward Coughlin (/ˈkɒɡlɪn/ KOG-lin; October 25, 1891 – October 27, 1979), commonly known as Father Coughlin, was a Canadian–American Catholic priest based in the United States near Detroit. He was the founding priest of the National Shrine of the Little Flower. Dubbed “The Radio Priest ” and considered a leading demagogue,[1] he was one of the first political leaders to use radio to reach a mass audience. During the 1930s, when the U.S. population was about 120 million, an estimated 30 million listeners tuned in to his weekly broadcasts.[2]

Coughlin was born in Ontario to working-class Irish Catholic parents. He was ordained to the priesthood in 1916, and in 1923 he was assigned to the National Shrine of the Little Flower in Royal Oak, Michigan. Coughlin began broadcasting his sermons during a time of increasing anti-Catholic sentiment across the globe. As his broadcasts became more political, he became increasingly popular.[3]

Initially, Coughlin was a vocal supporter of Franklin D. Roosevelt and his New Deal; he later fell out with Roosevelt, accusing him of being too friendly to bankers. In 1934, he established a political organization called the National Union for Social Justice. Its platform called for monetary reforms, nationalization of major industries and railroads, and protection of labour rights. The membership ran into the millions but was not well organized locally.[4]

After making attacks on Jewish bankers, Coughlin began to use his radio program Golden Hour to broadcast antisemitic commentary. In the late 1930s, he supported some of the policies of Nazi Germany and Fascist Italy. The broadcasts have been described as “a variation of the Fascist agenda applied to American culture”.[5] His chief topics were political and economic rather than religious, using the slogan “Social Justice”.

After the outbreak of World War II in Europe in 1939, the National Association of Broadcasters forced the cancellation of Golden Hour. In 1942, the Archdiocese of Detroit forced Coughlin to close his newspaper Social Justice and forbade its distribution by mail. Coughlin vanished from the public arena, working as a parish pastor until retiring in 1966. He died in 1979 at age 88.[6][7][8]

[Wikipedia]

It seems that Father Coughlin’s views were a more politicized, and more American (though he was born and brought up in Ontario), equivalent of those espoused by those of the great G.K. Chesterton, Hilaire Belloc, and others of a Roman Catholic or an Anglo-Catholic ideological background prior to the Second World War.

Leaving aside the rights and wrongs, “IQ” can only take you so far. My own IQ was once measured (40 years ago) at 156, easily within the top 1% of the population, yet I have not taken over leadership of the world and, at age 68, time is running out, at least in my present incarnation.

Looking at most politicians, commentators, business leaders etc in our society, intellectual mediocrity is more likely to lead to “success” than a stellar IQ.

Interestingly, it is claimed that Marilyn Monroe had an IQ equivalent to that of Einstein, which must make one question the basis for IQ’s societal prominence. We are only at the early stages of understanding what makes the brain, the human personality, and society, work.

Ukraine

https://www.theguardian.com/world/2025/jan/31/tired-mood-changed-ukrainian-army-desertion-crisis

When Russia launched its invasion of Ukraine three years ago, Viktor* was ready to die for his country. He volunteered to defend Kyiv as enemy tanks appeared and joined Ukraine’s armed forces. In the spring of 2023 he was fighting in the village of Tonenke, near the eastern city of Avdiivka. “When I arrived I was super-motivated. If necessary I would give my life,” he recalled.

Gradually, however, he became disillusioned. The battle was furious. “The Russians would smash our positions to the ground,” he said. Senior Ukrainian commanders gave unrealistic orders. Then, while he was defending a ruined building, a panel fell on his shoulder. After receiving injections to reduce the pain, he was told to return to the front. “I realised I’m nobody. Just a number,” he said.

In May that same year, Viktor left his position to seek further medical treatment. He did not come back. His commander marked him down as awol. Viktor is one of thousands of Ukrainian soldiers who have abandoned their units. The exact figure is a military secret, but officials concede the number is large.

The issue of desertion has made headlines in Ukraine. Last week the government launched an investigation into the 155th Mechanised Brigade. Fifty-six soldiers disappeared while training in France. Hundreds of others are said to be missing.

After three years of war, Ukraine is desperately short of soldiers, especially infantry. This has made it easier for Russia’s army to advance in the east. There are structural issues too. New brigades have been built from scratch. They performed poorly.”

[Guardian]

As noted on this blog for the past couple of years.

Russia is winning, slowly. The Kiev regime may collapse later this year. There may be a general advance of Russian forces later in 2025.

UK demographics

White British births have fallen to a record low! New figures have revealed that White British births now make-up just 55.6 per cent of all live births in England and Wales. But at the same time, the British population is skyrocketing, with the latest reports published in the press predicting that our population will surpass 72.5 million by 2032!

The meteoric rise in population is largely being driven by mass immigration. Both legal and illegal migration into Britain are now at an all-time high and the last up-to-date figures we released show that net migration has reached over 900,000 per year. This is shocking in itself, as that is more people than live in the city of Manchester!

Reform UK is part of the journey, not the final destination, of course. A useful bridge, if you like.

200+ Reform UK MPs would change the whole atmosphere at Westminster. For example, they could demand proportional representation and then, if the System parties block that, appeal over their heads to the British people via a second general election that might see Con and Lab even further diminished.

I feel, listening to what many people I hear in the course of everyday activity, that the British people have pretty much had enough of migration invasion, attacks on free speech, and enough of the still-encroaching police-state dystopia under the present Labour Friends of Israel cabal (and its “Conservative” predecessors).

Another big factor is the “nothing works properly any more” feeling, which is based on fact— things don’t work properly any more (a situation which, with the increasingly racially-mixed population, can only worsen).

The voters are willing to take any option that seems to have a chance. The System parties have all failed. If only there were a proper social-national party able to take on the challenge. The “Parliamentary road” is not the way forward, as such, but may have a part to play. All roads lead to Rome.

The truth is that, since the 1970s, paid work has become far more stressful in the UK. The “long hours culture”, “present-ism”, no proper lunch hours, the vulgar trend of people eating at their desks, the perceived “need” to be on-call in the evenings or at weekends etc. All for other peoples’ profits and self-aggrandisement.

As Fiona Syms (ex-wife of an ex-MP) knows well enough, Reform UK is not really a “fringe party”. It has only 5 MPs because the electoral system in this country is both grotesquely unfair and grotesquely illogical.

At GE 2024 (and in rough terms), out of every 20 eligible voters, 8 did not vote, 4 voted Labour, 3 voted Conservative, 2 voted Reform UK, 2 voted LibDem, and 1 voted Green.

If Reform UK is “a fringe party“, then so is not only the Green Party, but also the LibDems (who got 500,000 fewer votes than Reform UK), and indeed the Conservatives, who received only slightly more than 1.5x the votes cast for Reform UK. Even Labour only received just over 2.3x the Reform UK vote.

In actual numbers: Labour 9,708,716; Conservatives 6,828,925; Reform UK 4,117,620; LibDems 3,519,143; Green Party 1,841,888.

Casey’s book ‘Crisis Investing’ topped the New York Times nonfiction chart, focusing on the looming crisis facing Western civilization.

In subsequent books and podcast interviews, the veteran speculator has focused on signs that he sees as warnings, based on his study of historical events such as the fall of Ancient Rome.

The rise of ‘woke‘ thought and digital currencies are among the warning signs that Western civilization could be about to collapse, said investor and expert Doug Casey.

He told DailyMail.com that there are now seven clear signs that he believes show that Western civilization is facing an end.

[Daily Mail]

Worth looking at.

There is one factor which dominates in the UK, which is the fact that “nothing works properly any more“. I started noting it on the blog years ago, and noticed (after a couple of years) some msm outlets saying the same.

Part of the decline in services and standards is, of course, caused by the migration invasion, meaning both the strain put on all services and facilities by the extra numbers and the nature (i.e. poor quality) of those entering the UK.

Then there is the decline in real education (not meaningless “degree” diplomas handed out like confetti).

The repression on free speech is another major factor.

The box-ticking culture in administration as well, combined with the “Common Purpose” and allied cancers.

When Adolf Hitler and the NSDAP took power, they were initially voted for, in 1932, by 33% of the people, which grew to 44% in 1933, yet the NSDAP vote had been only 2.6% in 1928. Quite an upsurge in only 4-5 years.

The reasons given for the upsurge in support for the NSDAP have been examined by many. The Great Depression in the USA, which spread around the world, was of course key.

The Jewish influence too, but that, after all, had existed for a long time in Germany, and had been especially prevalent after the defeat of 1918. The NSDAP had spoken against it for over a decade without, at first, having gained much traction.

There were other factors as well, but I think that what clinched Hitler’s triumph was the perception that things generally, in all areas, were not working properly.

The same was obviously true in the Russian Empire in 1917, after at least two lost wars, and with the ruling cliques of the Empire mired in corruption and scandal. Russia as a state was not working for the people in any way whatsoever.

Reverting to the UK in 2024, not so dramatic, true, but there has been a slow-motion train crash going on for the past ~25 years. It becomes hard to ignore the fact that the UK, in many ways, is now ceasing to work properly.

Government must, above all else, function.

Deadhead MPs and ministers, repression on free speech, official policies seemingly designed not to work (mass immigration, migration invasion, energy, foreign policy, NHS, social security etc), and the fact that ordinary everyday life becomes a tangled mess by reason of the pointless hoops that have to be jumped through: you name it— NHS appointments, and medical care in general; parking a car; getting through to anyone who can help with any given problem, whether at commercial enterprises, in local government, central government, or wherever.

The UK’s voters are tiring of the existing mess, and may be inclined to clutch at the Reform UK straw, in the short-to-medium term, but later, after 2029, may support a truly radical social-national alternative, which may exist by then.

If not, then “le deluge“… It will then be a matter of taking to the lifeboats.

There emerges an uneasy feeling that our present world system is not going to be around for much longer, the way things are internationally.

Daria Platonova Dugina — A Theory of Europe: A View of the New Right.

In a world increasingly levelled by homogenisation, Daria Platonova Dugina retrieves the vibrancy of European culture by delving into the intellectual renaissance of the French New Right.

Exploring the pioneering work of figures like Alain de Benoist and Guillaume Faye, Dugina traces their groundbreaking and provocative reimagining of identity, tradition, and belonging, where the spirit of ideas transcends the conventional boundaries of Left and Right.

Through a “Gramscianism from the Right” approach, she analyses how the New Right’s critique of universalist ideologies and its visions of civilisational revival present a cultural counter-hegemony that values rootedness and organic community over the globalist paradigm.

In this unique collection of lectures, essays, and interviews, Dugina highlights the complex intersections of New Right thought with currents like National Bolshevism and Eurasianism, investigating the philosophical and geopolitical frontlines of the fracturing world order.

Dugina takes readers on a far-reaching journey beyond the standard ideological spectrum, inviting a deeper understanding of identity politics in the contemporary age.

Here, philosophy meets praxis, inspiring those searching for alternatives in today’s monotone world to revisit the foundations and peaks of Europe’s intellectual heritage.

Daria ‘Platonova’ Dugina (1992–2022) was a Russian philosopher, political analyst, journalist, and artist. Dugina studied philosophy at Moscow State University and Bordeaux Montaigne University, specialising in Plato and Neoplatonism. The daughter of Alexander Dugin, she was an active member of the International Eurasian Movement and collaborated with the French New Right. Her life was tragically cut short by a car bomb on the night of 20 August 2022.

Not that I think highly of everything Dugin himself says or writes. His views are sometimes risibly simplistic, even puerile. Certainly not always, but sometimes, especially when it comes down to concrete realities and facts.

I rarely if ever repost anything by the above tweeter (the ex-wife of a former Conservative-Party MP), but (with the exception of “stable inheritance“) this has to be right. “Rachel from Accounts and Customer Relations” is a joke, a bad joke, a very unpleasant Labour Friends of Israel joke.

That AIPAC purchased the seats of about 90% or more of our current congress.

JFK famously wanted them registered as a foreign agent right before he was shot and thus they changed their name and never registered.

Why are we letting a foreign lobby buy off our congress?

That Israel was obviously the state sponsor of Jefrey Epstein, whose handler was Ehud Barak, ex head of Israeli military intelligence, his funding was Les Wexner one of the worlds richest Zionist ‘philanthropists’ and he was accused by ex Mossad assets of being Mossad.

Not to mention the Maxwell connection. (They had blackmail on Clinton, and many, many more.) He who holds the blackmail holds the leash- just ask J. Edgar Hoover.

That Israel is the only nation who has a defacto sanctioned, yet actually secret and unsanctioned nuclear program. A program that they stole from the United States- look into the Apollo affair, NUMEC, the Dimona nuclear facility.

That jews, muslims, and christians lived side by side in peace in Palestine before the Rothschilds purchased the country from Britain during WW1 (see the Balfour declaration) and began their colonial program.

That the groups that founded Israel, Lehi, Irgun, and Hagannah, were declared terrorist organizations by Israel itself because their tactics were so deplorable (bombing British and Palestinian civilians) yet these three ‘paramilitary’ groups rebranded to form the IDF and their leadership became the leadership of Israel for the following thirty plus years.

That Israel is a foreign nation halfway across the world that has no business receiving my tax dollars. Why are we sending them billions of dollars of our tax money while our country burns, is overrun by illegal immigration, etc?

We are told Israel is our ‘greatest ally’ so why would they have had a massive spy network targeting US government agencies leading up to sep 11, 2001 – see the Israeli art students DEA report for copious evidence of Israeli surveillance all across the continental US.

This is an official government report that cites hundreds of incidents of observed Israeli surveillance teams documented by US government agents all across the continental US. And we still have received 0 answers why there were numerous fake Israeli moving companies positioned all across the eastern seaboard leading into September 11, 2001 and we have multiple eye witness reports, as well as hard photographic evidence that they knew the attacks were coming at least a day before they did and that they were positioned at a vantage point to photograph the attack up to a half hour before the first plane hit. Never got any answers- but you can read the official FBI reports about the incident. I’ve broken them down live on X before.

That’s just a small list of some of the best documented reasons why I, as an American, dont want Israel receiving any of my tax dollars. And I didn’t even mention my obvious objections to the collective punishment, mass surveillance, forced starvation, bombing of refugee camps, brutal murdering of women and children that’s been going on in Gaza and the West Bank for years, decades- which you can watch in graphic detail right here on X.

And that’s not to mention that somehow we let congress pass laws outlawing ‘antisemitic’ speech, despite our own first amendment. And we have anti-boycott legislation in multiple states, despite the fact that it’s perfectly legal to boycott American companies… just not Israeli ones.

Every content creator knows the fastest way to get demonetized, banned, and slandered is to be critical of Israel. I figured you would have realized this too after what they did to you and tried to do to X last year.”

Disappearing England

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-14262595/newbuild-homes-greenbelt-council-Lord-Rings-St-Albans.html

Fuming locals have raged at a council planning to build thousands of homes on green belt surrounding one of England’s oldest market towns.

St Albans Council sent its proposal to use land including 800 hectares of green belt to build 15,000 homes by 2041 to Labour’s Planning Inspectorate at the end of 2024.

Homeowners in the area slammed the ‘diabolical’ plan by developers who ‘don’t give a s***’ to destroy the countryside and said the extra homes would put local services under unbearable strain.”

[Daily Mail]

Very sad. Mainly caused by mass immigration. That, and profiteering by both farmers (selling land— look at the report; ONE FIELD sold for £38M!) and housebuilding companies.

As for housebuilders building tracts of housing and then refusing to adhere to agreements guaranteeing services (roads, parks, shops etc), if they do that, their precious “developments” should be blown up by the State, then rewilded; the companies should also be fined, very heavily. The directors should then be put to hard labour.

I used to spend occasional weekends at Sopwell House, which is walking distance from St. Albans. That was back in the early/mid 1990s, 30 years ago (incredible, to me).

Britain is slowly (?) becoming a multikulti slum where nothing works, and from where every English/white person wants to escape, either to the relatively few areas of the country unaffected by the spreading floods of ghastly ugly new housing —and immigration—, or overseas. Somewhere. Anywhere.

There are even TV shows called Escape to...

Saturday quiz

Well, this week 7/10, thus just beating political journalist John Rentoul, who scored 6/10. I did not know the answers to questions 6, 7, and 10. I admit that my (correct) answers to q.’s 4 and 9 were educated guesses.

Blog readers

I am always interested to see from where hits on the blog come. In the past week, from 16 different countries (inc. UK). Of course, with advances in technology, you cannot say for sure where readers are located; some may be, say, in Australia but appear to be in the USA, but I daresay most locations are accurate.

I was just looking at the apparent location of readers since I started the blog towards the end of 2016, so 8 years ago. Readers from 155 countries and territories in the world, so from about three-quarters of the world. There are 195 states in the world, plus some extra territories that do not have that status (such as Antarctica— and, yes I have had the odd hit from there, presumably from some scientist at a polar research base).

I have occasionally mused on who it might be in (inter alia) Lesotho, Antarctica, Greenland, Burkina Faso, the Aaland Islands (maybe I can guess who that particular one is), American Samoa, Chad, Tadjikistan, or Congo-Kinshasa, that is reading my thoughts and ideas.

The largest number of hits has always been from the UK, though (about 70%, with a further 10% from the USA).

The readership of the blog, on a daily basis, is still modest, never reaching over a thousand on any one day, and often not reaching even a hundred (I do not publicize the blog anywhere, and am not on Twitter/X or Facebook etc), but I have always taken the view that “one human soul is a big audience“.

There is a good possibility that that dog will be the most welcome border-crosser, and the least problematic.

Risible how System political scribblers, ivory-tower academics etc really still think that elections in the 2020s are still won by ridiculous local political footsoldiers knocking on doors, disturbing and and irritating householders, or by the voters reading the absolute shite put out on leaflets etc. This is 2024, not 1924…

John Rentoul seems unsure. He neither endorses nor dissents. He probably imagines that people actually read those (mostly) LibLabCon leaflets at election-time. Wrong; most, maybe 99%, go in the bin unread.

Assuming that the reports are correct (they seem to be), and that the longstanding government of the Assad family in Syria has fallen, there now stands only Iran against the Jewish state of Israel.

The Assad family has controlled Syria since 1970, 54 years, so this marks a great change in the geopolitics of the Middle East.

Background:

Now that Syria —not just Assad— has fallen, my expectation would be that the stage is set for a massive confrontation between Iran and Israel.

Those who live will see“…

What will never be admitted by the System parties is that we have been, for decades, in a deliberately-managed slow decline, which is now become a faster decline; in fact a slide. It is very much connected with mass immigration (the migration-invasion), and with the agenda of making the UK a multikulti, multiracial, and fairly poor country, with most of the economic benefit of its economy going to about 5%, if not 1%, of the population. That 1%, or even 5%, is mainly, though not exclusively, non-European. It includes many of “the usual suspects” (((them))).

[Jorge Ortega, victim of attack at Ilford Station, East London]

“The Ilford station victim has been named and pictured for the first time as his family pays tribute to him. Sixty-one-year-old Jorge Ortega was taken to hospital in a critical condition after he was seriously assaulted at Ilford railway station around 8.49pm on Wednesday, December 4. Jorge sadly died in hospital two days later on Friday, December 6.

Jorge’s family paid tribute to him yesterday (December 7) in a statement released by his son, saying: “Our dad was the most loving person, the kindest soul you could have the pleasure of meeting. Everyone who has met our dad or who has ever worked with him over the years will tell you this.

“He had a brilliant mind, enjoyed cooking, loved drawing, and was highly skilled in art. He was an amazing family man and would always put other people first. He loved his grandchildren, and in turn, they adored our dad. He was totally devoted to our mum and loved her beyond what words can describe.

British Transport Police officers were called to Ilford Station following reports of a serious assault on Wednesday. Paramedics and members of the Air Ambulance attended, and Jorge was rushed to hospital with serious head injuries.

28-year-old Ayodele Jamgbadi of Kingston Road in Ilford was arrested the next day and has been charged. He will appear at Inner London Crown Court on Tuesday, January 7, 2025.

“Our wonderful police”

https://www.mylondon.news/news/north-london-news/voyeuristic-met-police-officer-climbed-30368482?int_source=nba

A Metropolitan Police officer who told his colleague ‘What are you good at, other than shagging people on the team?’ has been found not guilty of misconduct after a tribunal. PC Muhammed Miah was cleared of grabbing his colleague’s bottom during a night out in North London, however the panel heard evidence he climbed a toilet to spy on his colleagues getting off in the cubicle.

The complainant, known as Officer A, experienced pressure on her bum at a Ping Pong bar in January 2020, but the misconduct panel found she had not complained at the time and that witnesses evidence was unreliable because they had been drinking since 3:30pm at Joker Bar in Chapel Market in Angel. A complaint was only made on the woman’s behalf two years later, the panel heard.

[My London]

A couple of points. Firstly, note that all three police “officers” involved are still in the police, incredibly. Secondly, note the appallingly-poor colloquial English (“bum“; “getting off“) used by the My London reporter, one Callum Cuddeford. In fact, I have noticed previously his poor English, and his habit of intruding personal bias (in other stories). He is not alone. “Journalists” scarcely exist now. What you get are 20-something scribblers and (on TV) talking heads, most of whom know nothing.

Cool. People should learn about how virtually every slave sent to UK colonies or the US was SOLD TO WHITE PEOPLE BY BLACK SLAVERS. They should also learn about Britain’s role in ending the international slave trade, so the BLACK SLAVERS had to sell their slaves to Arabs. And of course, they should find out that more white people were sent as slaves to Africa than black people taken out of Africa. Finally, they should learn about modern slavery, where the slavers are almost exclusively black and brown people. Libyan slave trade below. But of course, Jovan doesn’t want any of that. He just wants to tell one side of the story.

Also, there were “indentured servants” in Virginia and elsewhere, white British people sent to the Americas as —in effect— slaves for a fixed period: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Indentured_servitude.

Another aspect the “Good Law Project” fails to note is the very considerable Jewish involvement in the trade in black African slaves.

Incidentally, that African shown in the first tweet was the failed Labour candidate for the Clacton constituency at the 2024 General Election, and was soundly beaten by Nigel Farage of Reform UK; he ended up with a mere 16.2% of the vote, and in a poor third place: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Clacton_(UK_Parliament_constituency)#Elections_in_the_2020s.

I spent a month in 1998 (during several months I spent in Egypt) living in the oasis of Siwa, near the Libyan border. Until about 1945, slave caravans, bringing black slaves from Central Africa to Egypt, would pass through Siwa.

[part of the oasis of Siwa (Sahara), seen from the fortress of Shali]

Looks as though that African is going the same way as Femi Oluwole (a total waste of space, prominent online but not of the slightest use to Britain or its people): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Femi_Oluwole.

As for the “Good Law Project”, it is the vehicle of half-Jew barrister Jolyon Maugham, arguably best-known for having brutally killed, at his country home (a windmill), and using a baseball bat, a fox. Another waste of space, in my opinion.

The “Good Law Project” has become notorious for failed and/or doomed legal actions. See also: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jolyon_Maugham.

Incidentally, anyone who thinks that Maugham, a tax barrister (I do not know whether he is still in active practice) must, ipso facto (or otherwise), be some kind of great mind, should take a look at his efforts when on the team of Birkbeck (London University) playing “celebrity”/alumni Christmas University Challenge a few years ago: https://order-order.com/2022/01/11/jolyon-wins-university-challenge-after-getting-almost-every-question-wrong/. Maugham managed to combine self-importance, massive over-confidence, and ignorance, in a manner truly stellar.

Somewhere down the line, yes.

“Spending on ‘asylum seekers’ has increased by 36% to £5.38bn from £3.95bn. At the same time as they lavish billions on mainly single undocumented males, they took away the winter fuel payment from our most vulnerable. The Labour government’s own research showed that removing the fuel allowance will kill up to 4,000 pensioners – state sanctioned murder. £5.38bn would be more than enough to fund & operate a functioning & effective Remigration Unit.

“Our NHS”…

https://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/news/24758424.elderly-woman-forced-wait-five-hours-ambulance/

FURIOUS residents said they felt ‘helpless’ after a 95-year-old woman was forced to wait on the pavement for more than five hours for an ambulance.

On Monday, November 25, Winifred Soanes was left on the cold pavement after falling and breaking her hip in Christchurch High Street.

Accompanied by her husband of 61 years, Andrew, 92, who ‘wouldn’t leave her side,’ several people stayed to help, with nearby businesses pulling together, offering essentials to keep Winifred as comfortable as possible in the ‘freezing’ weather.

David Lovell, who saw the fall, was the first to call for an ambulance, staying with Winifred and Andrew for the five and a half hours.

He said: “I can’t describe how cold it was, and as it got dark, the temperature dropped really quickly.

“She was lying on the cold pavement, and we couldn’t move her because she was in huge amounts of pain.”

Because of the way she fell, David and the others had to find a way to prop her head up, getting some shoe boxes from stall holders and a pillow from a pub.

Staff at Mountain Warehouse provided sleeping bags, and the charity shops gave blankets and hot water bottles.

Jennifer Baylis, who works at the Prama charity shop, helped throughout the day.

She said: “I can’t tell you how upsetting it was, she actually said, ‘I’m going to die here tonight’.”

Jennifer said a number of people attempted to call an ambulance and explained that she was a vulnerable elderly person. However, they were given no time frame and were told she was not a priority.

Winifred’s husband, Andrew, is diabetic and a veteran, but despite needing to care for his own health, he stayed by her side in the cold.

He said: “The situation was dire, but it’s great to know that when they need to, the community all pull together to help.

Andrew, who called his wife his ‘soul mate’, said she was taken to Poole Hospital for treatment and is waiting for specialist operation for her injuries.

People who witnessed Winifred’s distress criticised the ‘broken system’, many of whom have called for a reform of how the service is operated.

A sex pest who sexually assaulted a 20-year-old female passenger during a train journey has been spared jail.

Hamada Salah, 28, who is seeking asylum in the UK, targeted two lone women in separate incidents on a TransPennine Express journey from Leeds to Middlesbrough in February.

The victims were left feeling ‘objectified’ and ‘unnerved’ after the Egyptian national began showing them pornography, Newcastle Crown Court heard.

Salah targeted a woman aged 20, which he said was ‘the perfect age for sex’, and started touching her legs, before moving to another part of the train before rubbing his groin in front of a 67-year-old passenger.

Judge Carolyn Scott said it must have been a ‘terrible ordeal for a woman of 20’ and added: ‘She was on public transport and had no opportunity to escape the situation.’

She sentenced Salah to a suspended jail term and also gave him a sexual harm prevention order which prohibits him from communicating with any unknown female on public transport unless it is a member of staff in relation to her duties.

He has also been banned from deliberately touching any unknown female on public transport under the same order.

Judge Scott sentenced Salah to 44 weeks, suspended for two years, with rehabilitation requirements and 200 hours unpaid work.

Salah was ordered to sign the sex offenders register and abide by the sexual harm prevention order for ten years.

FPTP voting being the illogical and unfair thing that it is, those figures would result in a similar number of seats (for the English parties) as at GE 2024, according to Electoral Calculus.

If, however, Labour went down to 28% and Reform UK went up to 24%, the latter might have 48 MPs. Also, Labour would be a minority government.

Despite the evident hopeless incompetence of Starmer-Labour, the pseudo-Conservative Party shows no immediate sign of being able to mount a serious challenge.

I wonder what percentage are from the (((usual))) suspects?

I once knew someone whose ex-boyfriend, English and a Cambridge graduate, worked for the World Bank. That young man was sent to live in Yemen (at that time divided into two; I am not sure but think this would have been South Yemen). That would have been in the mid/late 1970s. The young man lived in fairly basic hotel accommodation for the year in which he was collecting and collating economic statistics in Yemen. At the end of the year, those would be the raw material for a report which would become an official World Bank report and the basis for economic help to that Yemeni state.

This was, of course, in pre-Internet days, and the statistics gathered in were all on paper in his hotel room. No copies, and there was no way, in the absence of an office, to relay any but the most basic information to World Bank HQ in Washington D.C.

At the end of the year, that young World Bank employee was ready to depart, carrying with him all the papers and files etc. It was at that point when a water pipe in his room developed a bad leak while he was out. The room was flooded, and most of the material destroyed.

On return to Washington, the young man sat in his office for a couple of weeks, agonizing about what to do. Eventually, a senior colleague came in and asked him what the problem was. He confessed. The senior colleague helped him to cobble together a report that looked plausible, though most of the statistics had to be simply invented.

“World Bank”. Like many things, organizations and people in this world, it sounds terribly impressive. On the surface…

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/World_Bank

As to the “young man” in question, I myself met him only once, when he was not that young anymore. Early 1980s. I was about 26, my then girlfriend 33, and the “young man” in this story about 33 or 34, maybe 35. He, on a flying visit, invited us, with a couple of others, also ex-Cambridge alumni (as always, I was the outsider) to dinner at a Chinese restaurant, I think on the Finchley Road, not far from where the other couple lived in Hampstead.

The economist’s American wife was back in the USA. Perhaps he was curious to see his ex-girlfriend’s new boyfriend. It could have been a little awkward, especially in view of the fact that there was an age gap made greater by the others being all rather established in worldly life, whereas I was pretty much “economically inactive”, and spending most of my time on occult, theological, historical, and speculative “alternative” political matters.

In the event, the evening went not badly, despite (maybe because) I was too busy talking to notice that I was pouring hot Chinese tea all over myself; the (other) lady present said that it was very impressive that I did not cry out. Very dry, very Cambridge…

I just looked up the said economist. Now in, at least, his mid-seventies, he has apparently also worked for the U.S. Treasury and on Wall Street, and has taken part at a high level in meetings of the Basel Committee [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Basel_Committee_on_Banking_Supervision]. Obviously still based, in the old term, “stateside”.

As always, I find it interesting to see how people’s lives are largely determined, not in every case but in many, by their advantages and disadvantages of birth, family income and capital, early education etc.

The economist’s father, I now see (from Wikipedia), died in 1988 and, as I already knew, was a Labour (later SDP) life peer, who had had a considerable medical, academic, and political career.

In the end, all humans live out an allotted span, and all in the end leave the Earth (until reincarnated).

The continuing slide of the UK down a dystopian slope

…or, as Katie Hopkins calls it, “Batshit Bonkers Britain“.

A few examples from today’s newspapers:

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-14091119/Geology-racist-linked-white-supremacy-claims-Queen-Mary-University-London-professor.html

A geography professor at a leading British university has described the study of rocks and the natural world as racist and linked the academic field to ‘white supremacy’.

Kathryn Yusoff, who lectures at the prestigious Queen Mary University of London, said that the geology as a subject was ‘riven by systematic racism’ and influenced heavily by colonialism.

The study of prehistoric life through fossils was also branded as an enabler for racism, with the professor referring to the field of palaeontology as ‘pale-ontology’.”

[What kind of creature is that? God knows.]

I am a transdisciplinary geographer focused on inhuman geographies. I understand the inhuman as a place from which to think about earthly relations and inhumane histories. Theoretically, I engage historical, geophilosophical and black feminist methods to speak to issues of environmental change, empires of geologic practices and the politics of planetary states.

Specifically, I am interested in the role of inhuman epistemologies in race, gender, and subjectivity for more equitable environmental world-building.

Professor of Inhuman Geography“? You couldn’t make it up.

Transdisciplinary” maybe; I think “trans” something else, too.

Enemies of European culture and civilization riddle our universities, the legal professions, politics etc.

There is a limit to what I can express on the blog. Suffice to say that Britain (and all Europe) will not free itself from this sort of nonsense via “debate” (which that sort expressly do not want anyway). ‘Nuff said.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-14091703/Official-figures-reveal-record-numbers-asylum-seekers-claiming-gay-sceptics-saying-seeking-lie-flout-ECHR-rules.html

A record number of asylum seekers have managed to secure their stay in the UK by claiming to be gay, official figures have revealed.

The figure almost trebled last year from 762 in 2022 to 2133 in 2023, of people who could demonstrate that returning to their homeland would be inhumane because of their sexuality.

Under the European Convention of Human Rights people who may be persecuted because of their sexual orientation can claim asylum in the UK.

Eight countries saw 100 per cent of claims were successful. These were people from Afghanistan, El Salvador, Syria, Eritrea, Myanmar (Burma), Libya, St Vincent and the Grenadines, and Yemen.

While Pakistan, Bangladesh and Nigeria saw the largest number of successful applicants.

Family campaigners have criticised as ‘grossly discriminatory’ plans to give trans men and lesbians access to NHS-funded IVF two years ahead of heterosexual couples.

Under the controversial proposals, trans men – those born as women who now identify as men – will be automatically assumed to be unable to conceive, as will lesbians and single women.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-14091247/Keir-Starmer-Britain-delegates-climate-change-Baku.html

Sir Keir Starmer has been accused of hypocrisy after it was revealed the UK sent an incredible 470 delegates to the UN climate change summit in Azerbaijan.

Britain’s huge delegation to the COP29 talks has left a massive carbon footprint – despite Labour‘s zealous drive towards Net Zero – and cost taxpayers millions.

The staggering environmental and financial cost comes despite the summit being deemed ‘no longer fit for purpose’, with leaders of some of the biggest polluting countries, including US President Joe Biden and China‘s President Xi, shunning talks.

Apart from anything else, without oil production the Azeris would be dirt-poor, as indeed they were before the discovery of oil over a century ago. Are they likely to go along with the “stop oil” nonsense? I doubt it.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-14090921/Britains-aircraft-carriers-sunk-war-games.html

“Britain’s recently built multi-billion pound aircraft carriers may already be out of date, with military sources revealing that the carries [sic] get sunk ‘in most war games’.

At present, the Royal Navy boasts two £6.2 billion aircraft carriers, the HMS Queen Elizabeth and the HMS Prince of Wales, which were only commissioned into service in 2017 and 2019 respectively.

However, given the constant advancements in weapon technology, the ships may now be too susceptible to modern missiles to prove effective in wartime operation.

As predicted years ago by both accredited “military/naval experts” and, inter alia, me (on this blog).

…and the Harehills (Leeds) riots were not “Romanian”, either.

Never confuse real Romanians with Roma Gypsies, which are (mostly) a kind of criminal underclass who live in Romania (and also now in the UK, thanks to our traitor politicians), may have Romanian passports, but are not Romanian an sich.

Romanians are, understandably, offended by being constantly conflated, usually by ignorant UK newspaper scribblers and TV talking heads, with the Roma Gypsies.

So Farage has now not only vehemently supported Israel and the UK Jewish/Zionist lobby, but also seems to be saying that Muslims in the UK should not be alienated politically either. The man is, as often said, a snake-oil salesman but, having said that, I would not rule out the chance of him becoming a Cabinet minister in some kind of coalition government after 2029.

Good.

That is what the Jewish state has done to Gaza in just over one year.

Quasi-legal thought

It occurs to me that, should anyone in the UK be accused of any indictable offence (meaning, simply put, one in which guilt will be determined by a jury rather than a single magistrate —or lay bench— as is the case with non-indictable offences), and if that alleged offence involves alleged hostility to Jews, or the Jews in general, the said defendant might be able to count on popular disgust at what the Jewish state of Israel is doing in Gaza to sway the jury. Just “a thought out of season”…
