Diary Blog, 10 December 2024, including thoughts about Russia’s strategic direction following the fall of Assad in Syria

[1930s Germany— girls of the Bund Deutscher Madel (BDM) ride in a forest]

Putin, Russia, Assad, Ukraine— where does Russia go from here?

I saw a piece by the veteran anti-Russian scribbler, Edward Lucas: https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-14175769/EDWARD-LUCAS-Putins-imperial-overstretch-Ukraine-means-hes-weak-protect-vital-ally-like-Assad-cornered-prove-dangerous.html.

I disagree with Lucas’s analysis which says that the fall of the Syrian government weakens Russia. It weakens Russia in the Middle East, yes— but in the big scheme of things, that makes no difference.

Back to basics. When Stalin was Soviet leader, the Soviet Union had a very small navy, and one which was mainly confined to seas around the Soviet coastline. For Stalin, the geopolitical reality was that the Soviet Union’s power rested on its huge land-based armed forces, and on its huge geographical size, as well as a large population.

With the coming of the atomic age, Stalin’s scientists and spies ensured that the Soviet Union acquired the weapons at first possessed by only the USA and then the UK. At that time, all Soviet atomic and nuclear weapons were land-based, i.e. launched from aircraft themselves based in the Soviet Union and, in a few cases, satellite states.

Khrushchev, in his memoirs, disparages the senior naval officers pushing for a global Soviet naval presence. After Khrushchev’s fall from power, his successors did the opposite, creating a massive navy, which included ships and submarines capable of launching missiles including, eventually, nuclear ones.

That post-1960s global-profile strategy included supporting various factions in Africa, Asia, Latin America; that included the Middle East. Superpower rivalry.

A clear cost-benefit analysis, however, shows that, in the present, post-Soviet era, Russia actually does not need bases in Syria or elsewhere. Its strength lies, as before, in its geographic size, its still-large population and, crucially, its strategic rocket forces. All of those still exist. Moreover, the Russian strategic rocket forces are, it seems, at least as powerful, and as awesome, as those of NATO (i.e. USA); perhaps more so.

If Russia is forced by events to take a smaller part in the events of the Middle East, then all to the good. It can concentrate its forces and attention on the key areas of Russia itself, Ukraine and other areas of the “near-abroad”, and on advancing its most important forces, the strategic rocket and other nuclear forces.

The main thing now is to defeat the Kiev regime, and to install in Ukraine, at least in Eastern Ukraine, along the Black Sea coast, and in Kiev, either direct Russian rule or a pro-Russia Ukrainian government. It may be thought expedient, and historically consonant, to allow an independent Ukrainian government in Western Ukraine, and based on Lvov.

In respect of Central and Western Europe, Russia merely needs to obtain a modus vivendi with those states by encouraging the election or other installation of governments not hostile to Russia. Such governments need not be “pro-Russian”, or under the control of Russia; they need only be independent of the USA and, of course, free from the Jew-Zionist influence now so pervasive throughout the West.

Putin and his supporters and/or successors should be focussing on their nuclear arsenal, together with active measures aimed at helping political parties and individuals in Western and Central Europe that want a civilized rapprochement with the Russian state and people.

Naturally, I expected the Labour Friends of Israel government led by “Tel Aviv Keith” to be hopeless and rubbish, but not so obviously so and so quickly.

Talking point

“Tel Aviv Keith” Starmer, former bureaucrat-lawyer; Rachel Reeves, fake “economist” and one-time bank office bod; David Lammy, thick-as-two-short-planks “diversity hire”; Yvette Cooper, expenses cheat fraudster and “refugees welcome” hypocrite. The rest as well…

Do you really expect that lot to be anything other than rubbish?

Now it seems that Rachel Reeves, who could not even control her own personal (and interest-free) House of Commons credit card, is apparently going to “scrutinize every penny” of public spending. i.e. do spending cuts.

Ecce “democracy”— 14 years of misguided “austerity”, so the “Conservatives” are eventually voted out, and in are voted (at least by 4 out of every 20 eligible voters) fake “Labour”. First thing they do (apart from arrest protesters and online commentators)? Impose more spending cuts…

Oh well, “worse is better“, as Lenin said. Maybe there will be a “straw breaks camel’s back” moment. Starmer, Reeves etc will then, I hope, get what’s coming to them.

That refers to this: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Christian_and_Nick_Candy.

Well, political parties need funding. That Nick Candy person certainly has money, and knows others with money. Still, his interest in UK politics has been anything but narrow, to date:

“...The Times in March 2021…named Nick as the leader of fundraising for Shaun Bailey’s London mayoral campaign.[78] In June 2020, The Guardian also reported that Candy had donated £100,000 to the Conservative Party in March 2020.[79] In February 2024, Nick was reported by the The Independent to have expressed support for Keir Starmer‘s Labour Party.[80]

[Wikipedia].

Controlled opposition, of course. Both main System parties are fading (finally) in public estimation, so to prevent something social-national emerging, up pops Reform UK— pro-Israel, pro-Jewish lobby, anti-Welfare State, not (very) “racist” etc…

Still, the Overton Window is moving.

Same goes for “Ukraine” (the brutal and shambolic Kiev regime).

[“but I voted Labour to keep the British welfare state functioning, to improve the NHS, and to get this country running properly again, not to waste money on militant Arabs, or to throw money and arms at the Jewish regime in Ukraine!“]

Jew-Zionist barrister (a “KC”, no less) who, apparently, has never heard of diplomatic immunity. Unless it is some kind of joke the humour of which escapes me.

My case grinds on. Here’s a thing though: this is Mark Lewis, he’s a solicitor at Patron Law.

One of the most important rules about the conduct of solicitors is that they must not mislead or attempt to mislead the court. I now have clear evidence that suggests Lewis attempted to mislead the court. It is a serious allegation. The sort of allegation that, if true, should end Lewis’ career. The big question is: how are Lewis and his firm going to respond? @MLewisLawyer @Patron_Law.”

[James Wilson].

Actually Wilson is wrong in one respect. That is not “Mark Lewis Lawyer”, as his Twitter account used to be called; that is Lewis as he was about 12 years ago. He is now physically and mentally in a very poor condition, can scarcely walk, and his faculties are not what they may have been a decade or more ago.

Lewis and his fellow Zionist Jews in at least two pro-Israel organizations have been making false and malicious accusations against me for a decade now. I have responded with the truth, on Twitter (until “they” had me expelled in 2018), and on the blog (since late 2016).

See also:

The above video clip shows Lewis and his wife, Mandy Blumenthal, after their attempted political stunt (and scam) at the Edinburgh Fringe, in August 2024, failed risibly.

As for the latest information said to be in the hands of James Wilson ending Lewis’s career, that career is already effectively at an end. Many would say that (such as it was) it ended a long time ago.

When Lewis was fined and censured by the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal in 2018, his own Counsel asked the panel to be lenient in terms of fining him because his sole assets were his clothes, a private pension worth £70 a week, and a mobility scooter! Even his car, at the time (before his domicile changed from the UK to Israel), was provided to him free of charge by the Department for Work and Pensions (DWP), under its Motability scheme.

Actually, Lewis’s Counsel may have (I presume, inadvertently) misled that Tribunal, inasmuch as Lewis had, or so he once claimed, a flat in Eilat, Israel.

Lewis and the pack of Zionist Jews connected with him (eg those in the so-called “Campaign Against Antisemitism” or “CAA”) have never sued me for anything I have written about them. They have preferred to make malicious and false complaints about me to the police etc.

Having said that, it is true that my present impecuniosity would make me a pretty poor target for any civil suit; I have even fewer assets than Lewis, if you include his flat in Israel which he seems to have concealed from the Solicitors Disciplinary Tribunal.

Even if they were to sue me and even if they were to succeed at trial (and they have not done so at any time in the past 12 years), their victory would be very very expensive for them. Hundreds of thousands of pounds expensive.

My allegation is not that Lewis’ clients are vexatious, but that the evidence I have suggests he cannot be trusted not to attempt to mislead the court. If I am right, what does this mean for all the other cases in which Lewis has acted? What if there have been other attempts to mislead the court?

Lewis has misled the Court and his own clients several, perhaps numerous, times, but so far has got away with it, at least to the extent of not having been struck off the solicitors’ roll. Part of his immunity from punishment has been the protective shield around him, consisting of other Jews, in the Press and other msm, not reporting negative things about Lewis, and indeed puffing him to a ridiculous extent, especially years ago.

Idiots like that Narinder Kaur woman (of whom I think I had not previously heard) are actually paid to spout garbage on “British” TV. Know-nothings, emoting and gushing anti-white and/or racemixing propaganda.

Needless to say (again), few if any in Ukraine “volunteer” to be killed on the Kiev regime’s crumbling front lines. Few even comply with the draft. They have to be abducted, and intimidated by threats of prison or death.

History moves on.

Labour MP Rosie Duffield has resigned the Labour whip with immediate effect.

Her resignation pulls no punches:

“As Prime Minister, your managerial and technocratic approach, and lack of basic politics and political instincts, have come crashing down on us as a party after we worked so hard, promised so much, and waited a long fourteen years to be mandated by the British public to return to power

Since the change of government in July, the revelations of hypocrisy have been staggering and increasingly outrageous.

I cannot put into words how angry I and my colleagues are at your total lack of understanding about how you have made us all appear.

How dare you take our longed-for victory, the electorate’s sacred and precious trust, and throw it back in their individual faces and the faces of dedicated and hardworking Labour MPs?!

The sleaze, nepotism and apparent avarice are off the scale. I am so ashamed of what you and your inner circle have done to tarnish and humiliate our once proud party.”

I might not agree on everything with Rosie Duffield (specifically, her support for Israel and the Jewish lobby), but she certainly has principle. These days, in the political milieu, that is as rare and as valuable as rubies.

Starmer shows no embarrassment because he is not really a politician, let alone a statesman, but a technician, put into power by the Israel/Zionist/Jewish lobby to do a job: firstly to get rid of Corbyn and any non-Zionists in Labour, secondly to impose the ZOG/NWO regime, meaning pro-Israel and pro-“Ukraine” (the Zelensky Jew-Zionist regime in Kiev) internationally, and a kind of “great reset” domestically; thirdly, to destroy what little free speech and freedom of expression still exists in the UK, fourthly, to impose a “woke” dictatorship intent on shipping into the UK as many non-whites as possible.

Interesting. Something of which I was previously unaware. I suppose it might just be co-incidence, but there so often do seem to be so many “co-incidences”…

I think that it goes deeper than that.

That kind of Jewish lobby (which after 1948 became also an Israel/State of Israel lobby) did exist prior to WW2. Churchill was its main agent; but it did not really or fully embed itself until after 1989, in the 1990s. Blair was, in this as in so many other negative things, the one who opened up the portal of darkness.

Ha. Seems that her principles do not extend as far as giving up, or risking having to give up, the pay and perks of an MP. She understands all too well that, in a rigged system like this, the voting masses only vote for a label, at least 99% of the time. Which makes me wonder why she has left Labour. Maybe she will jump to Reform UK. Seems unlikely, though, especially in view of her solid electoral support at GE 2024— 41.4%, with Cons second on 23%.

I was just looking at Rosie Duffield’s bio: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rosie_Duffield. Not very impressive; not at all. The main thing that stands out is her pro-Israel, pro-Jewish lobby stance. I have noticed that the prolific and fanatical Jewish tweeters on Twitter/X always support her— a very bad sign.

Rosie Duffield cannot return to a well-paid outside profession or career, because she never had one. She dropped out of school at 16, and her main activity apart from being a mother was as a teaching assistant for a number of years. She was 46 when she became an MP in 2017.

Maybe Rosie Duffield, in the end, is just quite genuinely horrified by the evident unfitness of Starmer-Labour, and has simply decided to sit it out as an MP for the next 4+ years and then either not stand for re-election or maybe stand for Reform UK or as Independent. She might yet have a chance if she goes to Reform and if Reform is by then the main challenging party.

She is older than she looks and (born 1971) is now 53. By 2029, she will be 58. Perhaps she has little interest in continuing beyond that point.

As for Starmer, I said on the blog, about a week or so after GE 2024, that he had already failed in government.

Friedrich Merz, the leader of Germany’s main opposition party, the CDU, said that “Ukraine can never defeat Russia, and that was never the goal.” In an interview with Bild, he said that the allies are helping Ukraine “not to lose the war.”

Asked whether Ukraine should win the war, he replied: ” Ukraine will never be able to defeat Russia, that was never the goal. But for me victory means: it must restore sovereignty over its territory. And Russia must stop attacking this country. We must do everything to make Russia consider the continuation of the war hopeless. But we are quite far from that.”

That horrible creature of Evil, Jacinda Ardern, has been a major player in the attempt to create a world anti-white, anti-free speech dictatorship. New Zealand may be far away from almost everywhere but until about 30 years ago was an almost entirely English/Scottish new-ish society. That, of course, had to be trashed… How did they do it? Same as everywhere else of importance— imported non-white populations, and destroyed free speech.

People talk a lot of nonsense about how the white settlers took over the existing Maori state in the 19thC. There is of course a kernel of truth in that, but the main Maori invasion and/or settlement was in the 14thC AD, only c.400 years before the white European settlement. In any case, after the Europeans and Maori came to agreement, New Zealand was a progressive and peaceful society until the late 20thC.

Jacinda Ardern worked at a fairly high level for the UK Labour Party under Blair-Brown for 1-2 years before relocating back to New Zealand.

15 years as MP, of which about 6 were also years as Prime Minister (2017-2023).

One puzzling aspect of Jacinda Ardern’s political regime is that she came to power as Prime Minister with a rather small amount of capital, yet is now said to be worth tens of millions of NZ dollars. How?

Anyone who has lived in the USA knows to what extent the Israel/Zionist/Jewish lobby controls the major parts of the news media (TV stations, radio stations, the newspapers, magazines etc). I do not hear John Kerry talking about that, though…

While admittedly not germane to the tweet above, I do find it puzzling that the parents of Ed and David Miliband were supposedly “poor refugees” “fleeing” “Nazi-ism”, so how did they obviously have so much money?

Miliband was born in the Fitzrovia district of Central London to Polish Jewish immigrants Marion Kozak and Ralph Miliband, a Marxist intellectual and native of Brussels who fled Belgium during World War II. He graduated from Corpus Christi College, Oxford and later from the London School of Economics.”

[Wikipedia]

Belgian-born Marxist sociologist Ralph Miliband and Polish-born Marion Kozak [were] both from Polish Jewish families.[1][7][8] The latter was a teacher before she became a homemaker. He was given the middle name of “Wright” after the American sociologist C. Wright Mills, a friend of his father.[9] He has said “I am the child of Jewish immigrants and that is a very important part of my identity.”[7]

Both his Polish Jewish paternal grandparents lived in the Jewish quarter of Warsaw. His paternal grandfather, Samuel, a trained leather worker, served in the Red Army in the Polish–Soviet War of 1919–1921 before moving to Belgium.[10][11] His paternal grandmother, Renia (later known as Renée), also moved to Belgium, where she first met Sam, and the couple married in 1923.[12]

The German invasion of Belgium in May 1940 split the Miliband family in half: Ralph and father Samuel fled to England,[13] while Ralph’s mother Renée and baby sister Nan stayed behind for the duration of the war. They were not reunited until 1950.”

[Wikipedia]

Miliband’s parents grew up in the impoverished Jewish quarter of Warsaw, Poland. His father Samuel Miliband (1895–1966) was a member of the socialist Jewish Labour Bund in Warsaw.[11]

[Wikipedia]

Ralph married Polish-born Marion Kozak in September 1961.[25] She was the daughter of a steel manufacturer, David Kozak, with a Polish Jewish heritage, and also one of his former students at the LSE. They made a home in Primrose Hill, and later in Bolton Gardens, South Kensington, and had two sons, David in 1965 and Edward in 1969.

So they flee penniless, supposedly, from mainland Europe, and not only get jobs in London; they have a house or apartment (I think house), firstly in the affluent area of Primrose Hill, and then in the extremely affluent/wealthy area of The Boltons, in South Kensington.

Even in the 1950s and 1960s, those were very expensive areas.

Moreover, their two children both go to university, and not just any university but Oxford (Corpus Christi).

Ed Miliband had so much money that, when he became Labour Party leader, Jeremy Paxman actually taxed him in interview with the question as to whether he had ever had trouble paying a bill. He floundered.

I suppose that the riches came from the maternal side: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Marion_Kozak#Early_life_and_education

Puzzling all the same. We always hear how the “Nazis” confiscated all Jewish property. Does that mean that those Jews had riches stashed in other countries? If so, at least some “Nazi” propaganda would seem to be based on truth…

Labour are rubbish (and malicious), the equally-fake Conservative Party is equally-rubbish (the only reason Labour are in government is because almost all voters wanted the Cons out rather than Lab in).

People are looking for a new way forward. At present, only Reform UK, more or less “controlled opposition”, is looking likely to be able to mount an electoral challenge of any significance any time soon, but what Britain really needs is social nationalism.

The episode I saw was about the Varsity Line, of which I knew a little already. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Varsity_Line.

I like that kind of aerial travelogue, and this one was done reasonably well, except that the (Northern English) voiceover insisted on using the term “Nazi” when she meant “German“, as in potential “Nazi invasion” of the UK, or “Nazi bombs” falling on this or that city. I was glad, though, to see/hear the amusingly nerdy young custodian (?) or historian at Bletchley Park refer, correctly, to the encrypted matter and codes being studied as “German“, rather than “Nazi“.

A British man who crammed a woman and child into a tiny car boot with little room to move or breathe has been jailed, the Home Office has said. Leon Leslie, 39, stashed the Vietnamese migrants a 14-year-old girl and a 20-year-old woman into the back of his hired Kia and tried to transport them to the UK.

Border Force agents found the pair wedged in the boot when they stopped the car in Coquelles, France, on April 16 last year. Leslie, from Birmingham, was arrested at the scene on suspicion of assisting unlawful immigration into the UK.

When questioned, he refused to offer any explanation as to why the woman and girl were in his car, the Home Office said.

Leslie was jailed for three years at Canterbury Crown Court On Thursday, September 26, having pleaded guilty.

Farage is, of course, a major aspect of the “controlled opposition” phenomenon.

Having said that, Reform UK may well have a part to play in destroying the “three main parties” scam in the UK.

The strategy of the System seems to be that, if/when the main System parties are finally binned by the voters, Reform UK will be there, under (((the usual))) control to catch the ball.

Only real social nationalism can save the UK and all Europe, but Reform UK, and the Farage-style parties on mainland Europe can, despite their origins and intentions, be a step towards what is necessary, moving the “Overton window” among the people, and that is what matters most.

“The Charity Commission has discovered that Naomi Campbell’s “anti-poverty” charity raised £4.8million but only £389K went to good causes.

I suggest she fills the hole from her personal $ 80million fortune. The commission have now banned her from running a charity for five years as they they found widespread financial misconduct.

Astonished there isn’t a police investigation.

It emerged during the inquiry that the charity paid £9,400 for Campbell to stay three nights in a five-star Cannes hotel where she was appearing in a fashion fundraiser for the charity. Surprise, surprise the charity had chosen its fashion to coincide with the city’s film festival. The stars were aligned! Further, she ran up a bill of £6,000, once again paid by the charity, on spar treatment, room service and even her cigarettes. A new low. Not even paying for her own fags.

Campbell, 54, set up Fashion for Relief in 2005 saying she had been inspired by her “ honourable mentor” Nelson Mandela. Don’t imagine Mandela wants his name linked in that way. The charity was supposed, to provide relief during humanitarian disasters. All it provided was supplying relief when you needed a packet of cigarettes.

Another trustee , a lawyer, was banned for 9 years. He had received £290,000 over two years in unauthorised consultancy fees but picked up an average £26,000 a year in expenses. All this scandal confirms is the reason many don’t contribute to charity.

Naomi Campbell has been up to her neck in all sorts of criminality for years. See, e.g. https://ianrobertmillard.org/2019/08/11/the-jew-epstein-and-prince-andrew-the-british-royal-family-has-another-scandal-maybe-its-time-to-just-get-rid-of-them/.

The Epstein scandal is but one example.

As for charities, the regulation of them is far too lax, from the political and other activities of the larger charities (and the massive salaries they pay to the few at the top) to the smaller ones, some of which are outright frauds, as with the “Captain Tom” nonsense.

Of course, the egregious online “grifters”, such as “Jack Monroe”, the Jew Simon Harris (aka “Man Behaving Dadly”), the Depher UK fellow, Julia Grace Patterson, Mike Stuchbery, “Supertanskiii” are not, most of them, registered as charities anyway.

Britain in 2024

I happened to see this crime report in a local newspaper: https://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/news/24606453.robber-disguised-police-officer-raided-wealthy-sandbanks-home/.

“Robber disguised as police officer raided wealthy Sandbanks home.

An armed robber who tied up and threatened to shoot the wife and daughter of a wealthy company director in their Sandbanks home has been jailed for 16 years.

Career criminal Aaron Evans and accomplice Ashley Fulton held Kerry and Emily Aitchison at gunpoint during the terrifying raid on their luxury home overlooking Poole Harbour.

After tying up Mrs Aitchison they threatened to burn Emily, 22, with an iron and then shoot her mother in front of her if she didn’t open the safe.

Brave Mrs Aitchison, 55, called the pair ‘scum of the earth’ and didn’t give them the code.

Evans and Fulton ransacked the £2.5m house before fleeing with more than £200,000 worth of luxury watches, designer handbags, jewellery and cash.

The bungling robbers made a catalogue of errors that led police to their door.”

[Bournemouth Echo]

The full report is worth reading.

What struck me most, apart from the unpleasant violence and the sheer ineptitude of the robbers, was the fact that those robbers, despite not having been able to gain access to the safe, yet escaped with over £200,000 in cash, jewels, and other items.

The report says that the husband of the lady attacked owns, via a company, 21 care homes.

There is something wrong with England, with its economy and society, when someone can own 21 care homes and profit so much that, even in his own home, he and his family have hundreds of thousands of pounds in cash and jewels loosely lying around. Plus whatever was or is in that home safe. Plus, no doubt, investments which may well amount to millions.

For me, that is an example of what a Conservative leader (Edward Heath) once called “the unacceptable face of capitalism” (though Heath was referring to a very different kind of company— Lonrho).

On a smaller scale, I once encountered another example of such profiteering.

When I was a barrister based in chambers in Exeter (2002-2008), I appeared fairly frequently, often several days a week, at Exeter County Court which, for silly ideological reasons, was planned and built without any parking available at all. People have either to walk to public car parks or find parking nearby.

I used to park at a nearby hotel, and occasionally talked to the elderly-seeming attendant. It turned out that the parking there was contracted out to the attendant’s son-in-law, who had left the Royal Marines without a penny, and had started one of those vulture clamping outfits, later getting contracts with hotels etc. As I was hearing this, a beautiful blonde drove out in a new Range-Rover. The attendant’s daughter. The wealth and display thereof had been acquired within only 2 years of car parking activity.

Britain used to make things, sell things, and have decent professions like the Bar (now mostly trashed), but not now; these days, rather unpleasant nouveaux riches “coin it” as parasites, rather than useful private enterprise people. Car parking. Care homes. Buy-to-let.

Not just “illegal” migration-invasion (which is only 5%-10% of all immigration into the UK).

For someone such as John Rentoul, the political landscape is effectively unchanging. There will, he imagines, always be a “Conservative” Party, a “Labour” Party and a can’t-decide “dustbin” party (LibDems). There will, he thinks, never be radical or revolutionary change in the UK.

For the John Rentouls of this world, mass immigration is good or at least OK, and it is mainly beneficial, with a few small problems along the way. After all, in Hampstead and Highgate (socio-political) hurricanes hardly ever happen…

Rentoul voted twice for “Boris”-idiot to become Mayor of London: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Rentoul. ‘Nuff said…

Meanwhile, in the real world…

The Westminster Bubble journalists such as John Rentoul seem to have missed the main point about GE 2024, i.e. that “Labour”-label did not “win”; the “Conservative” Party lost, and it lost because the voters wanted to bin it. Labour’s fake “landslide” was merely an unavoidable by-product of that, as was the non-existent (despite the huge increase in seats) “LibDem upsurge”.

In reality, out of every 20 eligible voters, 8 decided not to vote (because there was no party they felt able to support, mainly). Of the remaining 12 that did vote, only 4 voted Labour, and many of those did so not because they really supported Labour but because they wanted to stamp on the last 14 years of “Conservative” misgovernment. Also, 3 of the 12 voted Con, 2 voted Reform UK, 2 voted LibDem, and (almost) 1 voted Green.

My point here is that voters voted primarily to bin the Cons.

Rentoul and his type are assuming that if, in 2028 or 2029, the voters want to bin Lab, they will revert to voting Con. Maybe not. Maybe they will, even if not much convinced, turn to Reform UK, whatever its flaws.

Look at that Techne UK poll. Both Lab and Con down 2 or 3 points, but Reform UK up 3 points. It is not improbable to imagine Reform UK getting 20% of the vote, and 25% is not impossible.

Hung Parliament territory, with the existing FPTP voting system.

What if the population were to turn like a school of fish, and 30% were to vote Reform UK? Still hung Parliament, but with Reform UK challenging Labour for the position of being largest party in the Commons.

Naturally, I could only support (or lead) a social-national party, and Reform UK is far from being that, but one can see that events (particularly the catastrophic and continuing migration invasion) may propel Reform UK higher over the next few years, and that will move —has already moved— the “Overton window”. Next stop— social nationalism.

“Following weeks of criticism Starmer, Reeve’s and Rayner have just said they will no longer accept freebie clothes. Just reread that. Unbelievable statement considering all the criticism they piled on Boris and co. Such bloody hypocrites. Nobody knew about Reeves and Rayner having kept schtum as Starmer had to admit he took free suits and wife Victoria took free dresses from Labour donor Lord Alli. The public will not forget. This is already a wounded government. All on the take. Starmer led the way. Increasingly unlikely he will survive.”

The present rabble are just another face of the overall System, just like “Boris”-idiot, Sunak, Truss etc. No real difference, just different aesthetics.

Looking back on my blog posts (re. Starmer, going back several years now), I think that I can claim to have been the first, or one of the first, to see what was coming down the line (as with “Boris”-idiot).

The sheer ineptitude does not surprise, in fact, though the very early and very public unmasking of Starmer (as unfit to be Prime Minister) does. I thought it would take longer for his deficiencies to become apparent.

The Times reports that it’s now more expensive to power an electric car than to run a petrol or diesel vehicle.

Stats show using a public rapid charger cost 24.1p per mile, 16.4p for the slower public charger compared with 14.5p for petrol and 12.5p for diesel.

Homes which have a home charger are in much better shape due to dramatically cheaper electric meaning the journey will be between 2p to 7p a mile. But in cities three quarters of tenants and residents live in flats and terraces and therefore can’t have a home charging unit fitted and will have to use public chargers. This will turn out to be a big political issue as people will simply refuse to buy electric cars. The good news is that Ed Miliband will lose his job.

Electric car sales have stalled in the UK and fallen by 44% across Europe. The Times worked out that a London to Penzance return powered by super charger will be £148 compared with petrol at £89.”

Jacqui Smith. Expenses cheat. Labour Friends of Israel. Anti-free speech.

Apparently, the unpleasant Alan Milburn [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alan_Milburn] is also being brought back into government by Starmer.

We can already see the road being taken by the Starmer-Labour “elected” dictatorship. Cabinet members who are not even MPs (which has always happened, but not I think to this extent), and a likelihood of policies imposed with little or no consultation.

I covered the appalling Jess Phillips on yesterday’s blog, and have also done so in years past (see, for example, https://ianrobertmillard.org/2019/05/07/deadhead-mps-an-occasional-series-the-jess-phillips-story/).

A female Deliveroo rider who bit a customer’s thumb off in an argument over pizza has escaped jail.

[defendant]

Jeniffer Rocha caused Stephen Jenkinson a ‘permanent, irreversible injury’ while delivering him a Pizza Express order in a ‘reckless’ attack, a court heard.

Mr Jenkinson, 36, and Rocha, 35, had a brief argument over a delivery code before the Brazilian Deliveroo rider bit his thumb off.

Rocha, a married mother of two who was making deliveries on her moped as a replacement rider for her husband, admitted grievous bodily harm in March on the eve of her trial.

On Friday, at Salisbury Crown Court, Wilts, she walked free from court as she was handed a 16 month prison sentence, suspended for 18 months, by a judge who accused her of ‘excessive self defence‘.”

Peter Hitchens is a confirmed political spectator, and has certain fixed views, one of which seems to be a huge over-valuation of the importance of voting every 4-5 years. He thinks that MPs are terrified of their voters voting them out. No, because they have incentives to vote according to other motivations, such as lobby money, outside “work” as “consultants”, party discipline (careerism), possibility of a paid “peerage” down the line etc.

Another Hitchens characteristic is that he is very fixated on the “two main parties” set-up which has dominated British politics (with LibDem and SNP distractions) since the Second World War and to a large extent since the First World War.

Hitchens seems to think that it was wrong for the public to turn to Reform UK, and that it would have been better to have had a Labour government with a much smaller majority.

I disagree. That would change nothing, and the UK needs to change (though not in the Starmer-Labour way). Hitchens seems to support a different kind of Conservative Party, if possible, but you cannot put new wine into old bottles.

Regular readers will know that I have little time for Farage, let alone Tice etc. They are not social-national. However, their Reform UK project has moved the “Overton Window”, and has started to break up the rigged political system that has been in place all of my life.

Hitchens is right in saying, as he does, that Reform UK is just Farage, but you could have said that about, say, on a higher and more significant political level, Adolf Hitler and the NSDAP.

As Rudolf Hess said, famously, at Nuremberg in 1934, “Die Partei ist Hitler, aber Hitler ist Deutschland wie Deutschland Hitler ist!” [see https://www.dailymotion.com/video/x6uajey at 1:43:00].

For me, Reform UK is but one means to an end, not the final destination.

I wrote an assessment of Hitchens some years ago: https://ianrobertmillard.org/2019/05/19/peter-hitchens-and-his-views/.

Does Hitchens really imagine that Starmer-Labour is or will be worse than (or even very different from) the “Conservative” governments of the past 14 years?

Good grief. What a list! Only one or two are even European. Suella Braverman of Indian origins; James Cleverly of mixed African and English origins; Kemi Badenoch, Nigerian; Priti Patel, East African Indian origin; Tom Tugendhat, quarter-Jewish; Robert Jenrick, possibly fully-English (uncertain); Victoria Atkins.

So leaving aside the obviously non-Europeans, that leaves only Victoria Atkins [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victoria_Atkins], Jenrick [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Jenrick] and Tugendhat [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom_Tugendhat].

Speaking personally, if I were in any case a Conservative, I should find Jenrick unacceptable by reason of his seeming (?) corruption, his Jewish personal links (not just his wife, his social circle, which seems to consist largely of Jewish business sharks), and his poor judgment in office.

Tugendhat? Apart from his part-Jewish origins, he is very very keen on support for Israel and the Kiev regime. Also, I am always suspicious when someone, especially from a privileged background (his father was a High Court judge), has a large hole in his or her CV.

Tugendhat seems to have graduated in or about 1994, then spent a year (?) getting a Master’s degree in Islamic studies. After that, he spent a brief time as a journalist on an English-language newspaper in Beirut.

We next hear of Tugendhat about 6-7 years later, in 2003, when he is gazetted as a Territorial Army officer (after a month or two, joining the Intelligence Corps); as of 2013, Lt.-Colonel in the Int. Corps. He was also working, ostensibly for the Foreign Office and in a civilian capacity or role, in Iraq in 2005.

As MP and minister, Tugendhat has been associated with both “security” matters and allied matters of so-called “extremism”. He seems to be hostile to free speech, especially about Israel and the Jewish/Zionist lobby.

Well, one can draw one’s own conclusions.

Not much to say about Victoria Atkins. A barrister by training, and married to a multi-millionaire who is a director of numerous large companies, including British Sugar.

I cannot see any of the above appealing to the British voters.

The only Conservative Party MP for whom I would have any time at all would be David Davis [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/David_Davis_(British_politician)], who at least has proven that he has principle, respect for civil rights and, also, courage. He, however, is now 75, and may not want to lead that rabble anyway.

Saturday quiz

Well, this week brings another victory over political journalist John Rentoul. He scored 4/10, but I trumped that with 6/10. I did not know the answers to questions 1, 5, and 8, and was unsure about question 6, so also did not award myself a point for that even though I knew it was one of two particular architects.

GE 2024

Not only that, but Starmer-Labour’s vote-share of 33.8% was, of course, 33.8% of those that bothered to vote. Turnout was only 60%, so Starmer-Labour’s share of the entire eligible electorate was only 20.28%. That’s before you even take into account those too young to vote.

So active support for Starmer-Labour is, at best, little more than 20%, one in five of the eligible electorate. Even then, one has to consider that —as I have blogged since a long time prior to the General Election— the main motivation for all voters, except the quite small minority that actually voted Conservative, was to get rid of the Conservative government and, if possible, party, not to install a Starmer-Labour government.

It is quite likely that only about 10%-15% of the population really support Starmer-Labour.

Of course, it is worse for the Conservative Party. On the above bases and premises, real support for the Conservatives, in the country as a whole, is somewhere between 5% and 14%. Much worse than their headline 23.7% vote-share.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2024_United_Kingdom_general_election

Nearly 60% of voters, of the 60% who voted, voted for one of the three main System parties, but if you factor in the non-voting eligible voters, that means that a minority (well below 40%) of all eligible voters voted for a System party . Then factor in younger people unable to vote, and the true “support” figure for the System, let alone the Starmer-Labour part of it, reduces to somewhere abound 20% (with Labour having maybe 15%, as already noted).

What price “democracy”?

Her son literally sells his wife Only Fans, and she has no experience outside of being a trade Union representative, is she remotely qualified or experienced enough to hold the office she has? These are valid questions. But we could ask this of the entire cabinet? Literally none of them have experience of my distinction outside of playing politics. Look at the business Secretary, he has literally never owned or even worked in a business? What knowledge can he possibly bring to the role? These are important questions, that can’t simply be brushed aside with a few slurs.

Interesting.

Look at thick-as-two-short-planks David Lammy, now Foreign Secretary.

Admittedly, recent years have seen quite a few deadhead appointees to Cabinet anyway (including, as Foreign Secretary, Liz Truss and “Boris”-idiot), but look at this!

The only way this undeserved huge-majority Starmer-Labour government will not crash and burn within 1-2 years will be if it can stop mass immigration into the UK (I doubt that it will even try), and stop the cross-Channel “small boats” migration invasion (Starmer will probably simply set up “processing centres” in France, then rubberstamp 95% of applicants).

Starmer will also have to reconcile the “need” (caused mainly by mass immigration) to build huge numbers of new and really affordable houses and flats, meaning council or other social housing, and at the same time not trash the —mainly— English countryside, including Green Belt land.

Starmer-Labour will probably not have the money to build millions of dwelling units, so will turn to private housebuilding carpetbaggers, and so will probably let them loose on what should be protected countryside. Starmer will all but demolish planning controls answerable to local people.

I can see even worse bullying of the sick, disabled, and unemployed. Look at Rachel Reeves and Liz Kendall. Do you really see any compassion (or any particularly high intellect, or any willingness to think outside the box) there? I don’t.

Looks also as if the UK will continue to throw support, including money and weapons, to both “Ukraine” (the Kiev regime) and Israel.

I see no higher (indeed, lower) living standards in prospect. Mass immigration inevitably means lower pay (whatever some Twitter-twits may think), and also higher taxes (because most of the immigrants are, at best, parasitic overall, and many are prolifically criminal as well).

The fabric of society will continue to fray, both by reason of the importation of about a million non-Europeans each year and because of cultural and administrative factors.

In short, this new pseudo-landslide government will almost certainly fail the British people, and fail quickly. After the people wake up to that, anything is possible.

I recall reading a Russian-language book about Dzerzhinsky [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Felix_Dzerzhinsky], sometime around 1982. When he was, in the early 1920s, and amid his other responsibilities, head of the rail industry, he discovered considerable inefficiency, corruption etc. He had some executives and other people shot. Apparently, his methods, harsh though they certainly were, checked the problem sufficiently until systemic improvements were implemented: see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Felix_Dzerzhinsky#Director_of_Cheka.

Just a thought.

Labour’s less sanguinary alternative.

Some industries are, in the contemporary era, better under public ownership. Rail. Domestic water supply. Most electricity. Most if not all gas.

Oh, right…let’s have a “bas-class” Mauritian Indian and pro-Israel puppet as “Conservative” leader and, later, potential (will never happen, though) Prime Minister…

No thanks…

I always said that the reason why British people, most of them, have not turned to social nationalism over my lifetime [b.1956] is because not enough of them were hurting enough. Not enough of them hurting enough and not enough of them knowing where to place the blame and, also, not enough of them knowing where to place their trust.

The situation at present, as I see it, is that living standards are now falling (and have been for some time), that social and civic standards are in most respects at an all-time low, and still sliding, and that the background and intellectual level of MPs is at an all-time low, as is public trust in, and respect for, them.

All those above factors are getting worse, more pronounced. At the same time (and connected to the above), mass immigration is totally out of control. Not just the cross-Channel “illegals”, but the “legals” coming in on student visas, work visas, “family and friends” visas, “fiancee” visas, tourist visas (the “tourists” then disappearing or claiming asylum) and the rest. A million a year, give or take.

That whole situation has been the background for the loss of confidence in the Conservative Party, and is also the reason why Starmer-Labour is also actually quite unpopular, despite its “landslide by default”.

The happy cheers from TV studios and from System journalists such as John Rentoul are not echoed by the British people.

The situation on the ground is why Reform UK, despite its semi-“libertarian” bias, and its often underwhelming candidates, has managed to get 5 MPs and (arguably as important) over 4 million votes.

When Starmer-Labour falters, in 2025 or 2026, the British people may be ready for a much more radical movement of the “Overton Window”, policies well beyond those of Farage’s Reform UK.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Patrick_Vallance#Minister_of_State_for_Science

So it begins…

I notice also that Nick Boles, pro-Israel and a Bilderberg attendee, may be another to join the Starmer-Labour “elected” dictatorship:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nick_Boles#Policy_positions; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bilderberg_Meeting.

The System has several faces…

Tweeter “@jdpoc”, a self-describing “antifascist”, used to occasionally tweet rubbish about me, too. He has (as people now say) “issues”; he has made one or two guest appearances on one of my blog posts: see https://ianrobertmillard.org/2019/07/18/theyre-coming-to-take-me-away-ha-ha/.

Regular readers of the blog will know that I have never favoured the Rwanda plan, for several reasons (impracticability, cost, probability of political instability in Rwanda, numbers etc), but of course the cancellation will encourage the migrant-invaders (even more).

It is alarming to see (though Twitter is not at all typical of the mass of the public) how many idiots of the “Janet Cobb” type there are in the UK. Unwitting (?) gravediggers of our people’s future. Take a look at her Twitter/X timeline. Incredible wilful stupidity.

Now we see how Starmer intends to run his “elected” dictatorship. As a dictatorship. A Zionist-influenced or controlled tyranny. We are only on day 2 so far…

Jacqui Smith. Expenses cheat and freeloader, but that’s OK because she has the imprimatur from Israel…

…and then, after those who stole and grifted for years get chucked out in elections, those same cheats and freeloaders (such as Jacqui Smith) get invited back into government, given a peerage (no need for silly elections, oh no…), and a ministerial portfolio! How wonderful “democracy” is!

GE 2024

Disappointing. I wanted the Conservative Party to be crushed (~50 seats) whereas, now, on about 120 seats, it can still pose as a viable party, and its status as official Opposition reinforces that.

Labour, as expected, won the most seats, easily (with 2 results not yet in, 412 MPs, and a majority of about 96 or so).

The other System party, the LibDems, have apparently won 71 seats, almost all entirely by default, as “alternative choice”, or “dustbin” choice, or “tactical choice”.

Of course, this election again emphasizes the inadequacy of FPTP voting, but the “usual suspects” make sure that the System parties oppose proportional representation. “They” remember Adolf!

FPTP makes it very hard for small parties to rise up. That makes the modest success of both Reform UK and the Greens even more striking.

It has been hilarious to read the tweets bitterly whining at Farage having won at Clacton.

Reform UK now has a foothold at Westminster. The exit poll had predicted 13 MPs. Looks like 4 now. Still, the significant thing, apart from those 4 successes, is that Reform came second in dozens of other constituencies. When Labour (as is inevitable) lets down the voters over the next 4-5 years, Reform may be in a position to do much better.

The Greens also did well, though that party will never be able to convince the general public that they are really “green” while they continue to support mass immigration, or allowing the creation of large solar electricity installations, or huge wind turbines, on green fields etc.

While I am disappointed with the overall result, and with some individual results too, I have seen plenty of results that have cheered me.

A number of the MPs removed have been featured over recent years in my “Deadhead MPs” series.

Some removed MPs:

Victoria Prentis [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victoria_Prentis], a complete puppet of the Israel lobby, and an exceptionally poor Attorney-General, has been removed (as MP). A Conservative Friends of Israel member.

Karl McCartney [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karl_McCartney], a very unpleasant Con MP, is now (for the second time) removed. Conservative Friends of Israel member.

Jacob Rees-Mogg [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jacob_Rees-Mogg] a kind of “cosplay” fake or would-be “aristocrat”.

Theresa Villiers [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Theresa_Villiers]. Complete puppet of the Israel lobby; member of Conservative Friends of Israel.

Penny Mordaunt. The now-washed-up “great white hope” of those Conservative Party members outdated enough to want a real English person as leader and possible PM. Not the worst of the ditched MPs. Never mind; she will always have the memory of that Coronation sword and, a few years earlier, that swimsuit moment…

Liz Truss. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Liz_Truss. Surely needs no introduction. As for Woollyhead Trussbanger [Kwasi Kwarteng— https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kwasi_Kwarteng], he stepped down before the General Election. Conservative Friends of Israel member.

Selaine Saxby. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Selaine_Saxby.

She will no doubt return to teaching girls, and eating self-packed lunches.

Nigel Evans. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nigel_Evans. A useless creature, whose only real job before becoming an MP was helping out in his parents’ corner shop. He was also lucky to escape conviction on sex offences (see my “Deadhead MPs” profile, below).

Therese Coffey. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Th%C3%A9r%C3%A8se_Coffey

Oh, God, what can one say? Actually, I already said it, years ago (see her “Deadhead MP” profile, below). She had one of the supposedly safest Con Party seats, too.

Justin Tomlinson. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Justin_Tomlinson.

Total deadhead. He will have to go back to managing a cheesy provincial “club” of some sort…

Scott Mann. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scott_Mann_(politician).

This was the idiot who wanted to put GPS trackers in the handles of all knives to deter “knife crime”! A total deadhead. He should have suggested putting microchips under the skin of those “likely” to commit knife crime, but that might be seen as “racist”, of course.

As I said in an update to that blog post, “Mann could, I suppose, go back to being a postman, a far more socially-useful job than being an MP, at least one of the type Mann has been. Otherwise, unless his friends can find a job for him, he may soon start to learn from personal experience how hard life can be in contemporary Britain for the unemployed, especially at his age (46).

That should not come as too much of a shock to him, though. After all, he himself voted for all of the anti-“welfare” nonsense put through from 2015-2024, and approved of most if not all of the Dunce Duncan Smith nonsense of 2010-2015.

Robert Largan. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Largan.

One of the best results of GE 2024, as far as I am concerned. Not merely a Conservative Friends of Israel member, but a very nasty little individual, who tweeted against me a few times in the past, and also gloated online at the convictions of Alison Chabloz, the satirist and singer, who lives and/or lived in the High Peak constituency.

Larghan was a “bean-counter” (accountant) for Marks & Spencer before latching onto the old MP racket; perhaps he will go back to that way of making a living.

After losing his seat as the HIgh Peak MP Robert Largan, who was standing for the Conservative party, says he has helped a huge number of constituents and brought money to the area during his time in power.

This morning it was announced that Jon Pearce had taken the seat with 22,533 votes and Mr Largan only getting 14,625 votes.

However, reflecting on his time in office Mr Largan said: “All political careers end in failure.

[Buxton Advertiser]

Largan, derivative to the end…(and most “political careers” last longer than 5 years…).

Incidentally, I notice that all or almost all of the Conservative Party MPs binned (not just the few noted above) would have retained their seats had it not been for the Reform UK candidatures.

Reform UK apparently got a national vote-share of around 14%. In a pure PR system, Reform would be allocated about 91 MPs, not the miserable 4 allowed via FPTP.

Will Hutton, like so many of his type, cannot see that most of the issues, if not all, that he highlights, have been caused, or have been made worse, and/or are still being made much worse, by the continuing migration invasion, numbered in the millions. Indeed, over the past 25 years alone, numbered in the tens of millions.

Labour’s “landslide” is an arithmetical trick, nothing more. No-one really has any enthusiasm for Israel-puppet Starmer and his unimpressive MPs. The result of GE 2024, as expected, was that Labour’s vote-share stayed almost the same (33.7%, compared to 32.1% in 2019), as did the LibDem vote-share (12.2% compared to 11.6%), but the Conservative Party vote-share dropped from 43.6% in 2019 to 23.7% in 2024.

Reform UK’s vote share (the official figure not yet seen by me but supposedly 14%) was obviously the main reason why Con losses and Lab gains were so great.

Another significant fact is that over 40% of those eligible to vote did not vote. Turnout was below 60%.

Tweeter “@BarnabyEdwards” displays the usual “woke” inability to think. He only accepts the logic he wants to accept. At first, it’s “ha ha, look at Reform UK! What a failure!“, then, when some facts about voting numbers are pointed out, it’s “yes, FPTP is rubbish, but fact is that Reform UK have only 5 MPs and yet are treated the same as serious parties like Plaid Cymru and the Greens, and will get more coverage than they merit“.

The said tweeter, one Barnaby Edwards, is really saying that Plaid Cymru, with its (faux) Welsh “nationalism”, and the pseudo-Greens, merit more coverage than Reform because (unspoken) Reform is anti-migration invasion etc.

Look at the popular vote numbers, though: Reform UK well over 4 MILLION votes; Plaid Cymru below 195,000, not even a twentieth of the number of votes received by Reform. As for the Greens, 1,842,000, so good but still a long way short of half the number of votes received by Reform.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2024_United_Kingdom_general_election#Results

Incidentally, tweeter “@BarnabyEdwards” has nearly 23,000 Twitter/X “followers”, whereas the more sensible or less biased fellow talking with him, “@cllranderson”, has a mere 2,000. Typical of the platform, of course.

Clacton and Reform UK

The System is now getting very worried about the level of support being shown even for Reform UK, a basically small-c conservative-type party. The anti-Reform UK rhetoric is now close to that displayed in the past against more social-national parties such as the BNP and, further back still, the National Front.

The System thinking must be, “if even Reform UK can be so disruptive, how more so would be a credible and genuinely social-national party?

That anti-Reform UK propaganda is broadcast as Reform UK reaches heights of popular support few thought that it would or could reach.

Some polls are putting Reform UK as high as 20%, and all are putting it well above 15%, the average now being around 17%.

Meanwhile, support for the Conservative Party has dropped to as low as 18%, and may go even lower. I have just yesterday heard admittedly anecdotal evidence that, in my own local area (in coastal Hampshire, and one of the most heavily-Con in England), lifelong Con voters are planning to vote anywhere other than Con or Labour. Many, perhaps most (?), are switching to Reform UK, and some to the LibDems.

I was just looking at my blog from about 8 or 9 months ago. I thought then that Reform UK would get a nationwide popular vote of at least 15% and, at the outside, 20%. Seems that I was right (so far).

Estimates of the number of MPs Reform UK might have by 5 July 2024, i.e. once the votes are counted, range from 1 or 2 to as many as 22. A few Reform UK optimists are doubling or even tripling that. It seems very open, with less than a week to go.

I doubt whether the Channel 4 undercover silliness will change the minds of many people planning to vote Reform UK, as witness the tweets below:

In any case, Channel 4 News is only seen by a small minority of people. Only about 4.5% of the viewing public even watch Channel 4 overall, so maybe 1% or 2% (?): https://deadline.com/2023/06/channel-4-woes-deepen-ratings-historic-low-1235417804/; https://www.dailymail.co.uk/tvshowbiz/article-12199071/Panic-Channel-4-viewing-figures-plummet-historic-low.html.

I doubt that more than a few hundred of the voters of Clacton will have even seen the “expose”. In any case, the main person shown was merely a volunteer. It may even be that some people will be more inclined to vote for Reform after having seen the Channel 4 piece. You never know.

There is also the point that postal voting has already taken place. Many of the older and/or disabled British voters, as at Clacton, will by now have voted.

Farage seems nailed-on to win at Clacton, as far as I can see. The Conservative Party candidate has not even been seen (by me anyway) on TV or online, while the young African standing as Labour MP has apparently been redeployed to help another Labour candidate, in the West Midlands, and has thus left the field of battle at Clacton.

I can only suppose that Starmer decided that only the Con candidate had any chance of beating Farage, having scored 72.3% in 2019, so scaled back the Labour effort at Clacton to zero for nakedly tactical reasons.

Also, the fact that Labour deliberately chose an African for its candidate at Clacton, of all places, would be likely to prompt a surge in support for Reform UK. Anyway, he’s gone elsewhere, and will probably not be seen at Clacton until the count on Election Night. I still think that he might lose his deposit.

As blogged previously, while I am not a Reform UK supporter, as such, its existence moves the “Overton Window” a bit, at the very least, and will help to break down the “two main parties” scam.

More tweets seen

The public’s view of the mostly System politicians is not favourable. Even Starmer, on the crest of his “popularity by default”, is only viewed favourably by just over a third of voters.

Look at Sunak. Only 19%, the same as the Conservative Party. I begin to wonder whether previously undecided voters will actually start to pile in against the Conservative Party now, or at the last minute, thus reducing the Conservative vote to somewhere below that 19%, maybe as low as 16%. We shall know in 6 days’ time.

I should say “80% that’s broken“, not “everything“. Otherwise, I agree.

As Hitler said, “dirty democratic politicians“…[Mein Kampf].

The African will probably get about 4% of the vote, and lose his deposit.

This is incredible. It does not necessarily mean that the Channel 4 “expose” was a fix, but it certainly raises questions.

How did Channel 4 News come to fasten upon that particular person for its undercover filming?

My view: both main System parties should be eliminated.

Gavin Barwell really is an utterly stupid person, yet there he sits in the House of Lords, getting nearly £400 a day (taxfree) any (sitting) day on which he chooses to turn up for 30 minutes and have his name ticked off… https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gavin_Barwell.

Yes. If all Con-leaning or anti-Lab-leaning voters were to vote Reform UK, Reform UK could just about win at Dover; even then it might be very close. One thing is for sure— the Con candidate cannot win.

So Giles Watling is still alive… I had seen and heard nothing from the retired actor since the Clacton campaign started. I assumed that he had fallen into his soup and drowned at the Garrick Club.

Watling has nothing in common with most Clacton voters. Hopeless.

The Jew Zelensky thinks that there can be a “peace summit” without Russia’s participation (unless Russia were to effectively surrender). He’s a con-man who has stolen billions.

I tend to agree, up to a point, with that last tweeter. Yes, the Cons are doomed, but look at what the Labour Party now is! A mixture of Blair-Brown-style fake communitarian rhetoric, “woke” craziness, “Ukraine” (Kiev regime) partisanship, and pro-Israel-ism, combined with pro-Jewish lobby repression of free speech and, in terms of domestic policy, almost indistinguishable in reality from the policies of the Conservative Party.

Incidentally, it is Bicester and Woodstock, a new constituency, not just Woodstock. That may explain the close polling.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bicester_and_Woodstock_(UK_Parliament_constituency).

Even Reform UK has more support among the under-30s in the UK, especially in England, than many suppose. A real social-national party might be able to capture far more hearts and minds.

This really is stunning. If accurate, it may mean a House of Commons with 483 Labour MPs (overall majority 316), 73 LibDems, 27 Reform UK, and only 22 Con Party MPs (SNP 18, Green 4 etc). https://www.electoralcalculus.co.uk/userpoll.html.

It would mean the LibDems as official Opposition, and Reform UK with several more MPs (27 in toto) than the rump of the old Conservative Party (22), which would not be the Opposition, not even third party, but a poor fourth. Finished. Washed-up.

I have yet to meet, in the past month or even longer, even one person who expresses an intention to vote Con. There may be some people I meet who intend to vote Con without my knowing it, of course; I meet relatively few people, and rarely talk directly about politics with most of those that I do meet. All the same…

In fact, and by my use of Electoral Calculus, it may be that, were Reform UK to poll at 24%, only 3 points higher than in this latest poll, Reform could edge the LibDems out of second place, which would mean Reform UK as the official Opposition, and Farage as Leader of the Opposition! Were that to happen, I should have to eat my words of a year or two ago (dismissing him as not such an effective politician despite his oratorical and mass media skills).

We shall soon know.

Brutal” is the word. Whatever one may think of Trump and his overall fitness for office, it is clear that Biden should now go into retirement.

The world has rarely if ever been in such multiform peril. The state with, by far, the greatest military-destructive power on Earth, is a “colossus on legs of straw”, and cannot, at this time, be commanded, even notionally, by someone not in command of his own faculties.

From the newspapers

https://www.bournemouthecho.co.uk/news/24416228.poole-labour-candidate-calls-others-denounce-hate-campaign/

The Labour parliamentary candidate for Poole, Neil Duncan-Jordan, said he and others have been targeted with ’disgusting and disrespectful’ comments.

He said he had been called a ‘white traitor’ and told that ‘Adolf Hitler had the right idea’.

Mr Duncan-Jordan has called on his counterparts in the election to distance themselves from antisemitism, racism and hate crime following a number of incidents he and his supporters have faced.

Mr Duncan-Jordan said: “In the last few days there have been three separate incidents that have caused me concern. I’ve been called a ‘white traitor’, one of my supporters was spat at and I was told that “Adolf Hitler had the right idea.”

“I think it’s important that all candidates in this election come out clearly and say that antisemitism, racism and fascist views have absolutely no place in modern Britain.

Spitting at someone because you don’t like their political views is disgusting and disrespectful. We cannot allow this kind of behaviour to become the acceptable norm.”

The candidate has reported the incidents to the police.

[Bournemouth Echo]

Well, while I would never condone spitting at (or for that matter, throwing milkshakes over) people (as a Labour supporter did to Farage recently), if a candidate wants to knock on people’s doors to engage them in political debate, he must expect some of his “victims” to cut up rough, bearing in mind what the System parties have been doing to this country.

God knows what, in the course of time, will be the karmic, including group-karmic, consequences of everything that has happened in and around Gaza in the past 9 months, or indeed the past 77 years.

“They” are always the “victims”…

The whole of the System msm is rotten.

Rishi Sunak‘s chief of staff has been interviewed as a witness by the gambling regulator as part of the row over alleged bets on the timing of the general election, it has emerged.

Liam Booth-Smith is reported to have spoken to the Gambling Commission last week to help the watchdog understand who may have known when polling day would be.

Sources stressed to the BBC that the PM’s top adviser – dubbed the ‘Treasury Travolta’ during Mr Sunak’s time as Chancellor due to his fondness for leather jackets – is not a suspect in the regulator’s investigation and had not placed a bet himself.

[Daily Mail]

Can you believe it, even today, as the UK goes into a tailspin? The Chief of Staff of the UK Prime Minister— and look at the bastard!

Liam Booth-Smith (born 1987) is a British political adviser who has served as the Downing Street Chief of Staff since October 2022. He previously served as de facto chief of staff to then-chancellor Rishi Sunak as head of the Joint Economic Unit.

Booth-Smith was born in 1987[2] in Stoke on Trent and was raised by a single mother.[3] He read politics and social policy at Loughborough University. Booth-Smith was appointed as Downing Street Chief of Staff in October 2022 after Rishi Sunak‘s accession as prime minister. He succeeded Mark Fullbrook.

In 2023 the New Statesman named him as the ninth most powerful figure in British Right-Wing Politics.”

In the 1970s, Britain still had many avenues open to it. Now, it is as if (?) we are painted into a corner, with almost nowhere to turn.

2024-2029…perhaps in the next few years there will, at long last, emerge the popular social-national movement that can sweep all before it.

When I stayed for three weeks with a French couple, in Paris, in 1971 (at age 14), I was taken once by car through an area my host referred to as the “quartier arabe“. Now it seems that much of Paris is the “quartier africaine“…

What about a population of ~70 million (the UK)?

600 in a day. Not counting those who sneak in on the backs of lorries etc. Not including the 3,000+ that entered superficially “legally”, on the same day (as “family members”, “students”, “fiances”, “fiancees”, those on fraudulently-obtained work visas etc, or as asylum seekers approved from outside the UK).

You still see pseudo-liberal idiots saying or tweeting that immigration is not a high priority in the UK’s list of problems to be dealt with. Think again. Immigration on this scale impacts everything, either immediately or later, and for endless years to come.

About a million a year, maybe more, and if some say it is “only” half a million “net”, does that really make much difference? So either 10 million in the next 20 years, or 20 million in the same time-period…

Goodbye Britain as anything other than a dystopian hellhole if that happens, i.e. if a real British Government does not stop it.

How many LibLabCon politicians could attract a crowd a twentieth as large? A crowd composed of ordinary local voters, by the way.

If you look at Twitter/X, as always very very unrepresentative, you will see people lauding the unemployed 25-y-o African “eternal student” who is the Labour Party’s bizarre choice of candidate. Frankly, that useless creature will be lucky to save his deposit; he will certainly not get more than 15% of the vote. This is between Reform UK and the Conservative Party whose candidate is invisible.

As a social-national blogger and thinker, I should prefer there to be a social-national party that I could support, even if a party not led by me. However, there is no such party in the UK at present.

In realistic terms, all that can be done at GE 2024 is to destroy one half of the main System binary, i.e. the Conservative Party, and to move the “Overton Window”, so that there is space into which social-national ideas and, then, a movement, can flow.

The best chance at present is that the “controlled opposition” Reform UK does well enough to destroy the Conservative Party, even if at the cost of a Labour “elected” (by default) dictatorship for a while.

I have a feeling that Israel-puppet Starmer’s plan to enfranchise persons of 16-17 years of age may backfire on him.

Ideologically, I do not always have time for pro-Israel, pro-Jewish lobby Katie Hopkins, but it has to be admitted that she is something else…Tough does not start to cover it.

I agree with her there.

Exactly. The NWO/ZOG System wants Israel-puppet Starmer as “elected” dictator. He will clamp down even more on (real) free speech (as practised on this blog), he will flood the UK with even more non-Europeans, and he will be more finance-capital friendly even than Blair, Brown, Cameron-Levita etc.

Starmer’s expected enormous Commons majority will enable the installation of a kind of “woke” tyranny. It is then that the British people will have to go beyond the usual kinds of “acceptable” opposition.

Sunak, saying that he “has been fortunate” in his life…Married, of course, to the richest Indian in India.

Sunak always reminds me of some of the contestants on shows such as The Chase, people that make me think, “you are so ******* ignorant; why are you even on a quiz show in the first place? You could not buy a correct answer“…

Sunak is a bit like that when he tries to show that he has what it takes to be Prime Minister of the UK. He plainly does not have what it takes. The little Indian money-juggler neither looks, nor thinks, nor behaves, nor speaks like a prime minister.

I happened to see a Sky News report this morning. 900 migrant-invaders have already been landed at Dover today, ferried in by the “Border Force” (border farce). All in identical orange lifejackets, all on a very large Border Force vessel, delivering them at a fast rate of knots to our shores.

900 in one single day (so far).

The Conservative Party candidate in the famous Smethwick by-election had a poster saying “if you want a n****r for a neighbour, vote Labour“. 60 years on, it turns out that the second part of the sentence should have read “…vote Labour, Conservative, LibDem, or Green“.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Smethwick_in_the_1964_general_election

Interesting (even if Matt Goodwin, an academic, apparently needs to brush up on the use of the apostrophe).

Good idea.

Pity those trying to restrain the vandals did not give them the bejesus of a good kicking.

Israel has created ghetto-entities (Gaza, West Bank); cutting off oil via Turkey will ghetto-ize Israel itself.

I’m lovin’ it!

According to my use of Electoral Calculus [https://www.electoralcalculus.co.uk/userpoll.html], that would mean a House of Commons with 444 Labour MPs (overall majority 238), LibDems 65, Reform UK 50, Cons 45, SNP 20, Plaid Cymru 4, Greens 2 (etc).

If that were to come to pass, absolutely stunning. It would mean pretty much the end of the Conservative Party, certainly the end of it as a (let alone the) natural or default party of government.

For one thing, most of those wanting selection as Conservative candidates, and MPs, are careerists. Few will be attracted by a party that has only 45 MPs.

Donors are already withdrawing from the Conservative Party. Large donors usually want, at very least, influence in return for their money. A party which has only 45 MPs and is not the governing party, not the official Opposition, but only 4th in the Commons, has little to offer, little to sell.

If Reform UK really did break through to the extent indicated, the “Overton Window” will have been not only moved but blasted aside.

Social nationalism might then really start to take off. Exciting.

CASE UPDATE: Patron Law insist I get a costs order against Mr Cantor before I apply for costs against them. My application for costs against Mr Cantor is delayed because he is seriously unwell. For the record, can I state what absolutely first rate chaps Patron Law’s partners are (Mark Lewis, Benjamin May and Alexander Zivancevic) for putting their former client Mr Cantor through this in his current state of health. This is them.

(((Sharks))).

More about egregious Israel-based Lewis:

Most voters, most TV talking heads and newspaper scribblers etc have not yet caught up with me and a few of the more perceptive msm commentators (such as Tim Stanley) in understanding that, in Stanley’s words, “the [Conservative Party] brand is…just gone“, and that means that only a few habit-voters, mostly the very elderly, will be voting Con at GE 2024 or thereafter.

I notice that, in latest polling, the Conservative Party is down to 18% with one pollster.

That has happened before to the Cons, in 2019, and in relation to the brief rise and fall of Brexit Party, but not 3 weeks before a general election. In that year, I think that the Cons were down to 19% at one point.

On a secondary point, who could have imagined, in the 1980s, that Russian roads, in the provinces at that, would be better in 2024 than any roads in the UK? Shameful.

The people still voting en masse for the Conservative Party will be, as previously noted, lifelong Con habit-voters now aged 75+, who are concentrated mainly in the safest seats of southern England. In those constituencies, the not-poor and the elderly are the majority.

Having said that, my prediction, right or wrong, remains closer to 50 than 100 Con seats after 4 July 2024.

One has to ask whether the loss of a Commons seat would be sufficient punishment for a political criminal of that sort. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Laura_Trott_(politician). Indeed Sevenoaks has been regarded as a safe Con Party seat: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Sevenoaks_(UK_Parliament_constituency)#Elections_in_the_2020s.

Wipe them out. Stamp on them. Since 1989, at latest, this party has been completely useless and poisonous.

Anyone who uses “Mark Lewis Lawyer” is a complete idiot (or maybe just badly misinformed…).

As already blogged, I do not “blame” Sunak for not remaining at the 1944 commemoration. After all, he is not, in any real way, “British” in the first place, despite having been born here and having attended Winchester and Oxford.

As for Sunak’s poll ratings, hard to see how they could go much lower. He’s on the way out. Everyone knows it; he knows it. Within 3 weeks, give or take a day or two, he will no longer be PM. Within a few months, he will have been all but forgotten, like Liz Truss.

You might not want to hear this. Many people don’t.

I just spent the last week travelling between London, Helsinki and Tallinn.

I lived in London for many years but it has changed out of all recognition. Tallinn and Helsinki have a safe feel. Homogeneous. No “diversity barriers”. After London, it was quite a shock. You can argue about whether the changes in London are for the better or not but the kids in both Helsinki and Tallinn are skateboarding and drinking milkshakes. They are not carrying around knives and terrorising or stabbing other kids. There is space and clean streets. People are friendly – even to strangers.

London felt like it was crumbling. Closed roads everywhere. A murder minutes from where I was within 6 hours of my arrival. People seemed miserable. I want the UK to do better. To be better. But they need to change things significantly and stop the transformation of the capital city into a third world city. Anyone else agree?

Almost all people of sense agree. 90% of white (i.e. real British) people agree, and even very many of the non-whites agree. Just a tendentious 10% of the people disagree, but that includes most of the MPs, most of the fake “Lords”, and most of the treacherous msm talking heads and scribblers. Poisonous. Get rid of them, and the UK will start to improve.

Yes. Starmer is a disaster waiting to happen; not waiting as an actor or a barrister does, prior to striding onto the stage or rising up in court, but waiting like a man in a charity-shop raincoat, waiting for a bus in the drizzle of a London winter.

Laurence Fox is, politically, a sad waste of space. Pro-Israel, basically pro-Conservative but with a few quibbles around flags and monuments and the like.

Reform UK has one main use as far as I am concerned— to help kill off the Conservative Party. A secondary use is to move the “Overton Window” [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Overton_window].
