Diary Blog, 24 September 2025, including thoughts about Trump, Russia and Ukraine, and an important tweet-thread about the secretive Jewish and Israeli cabals inside the Labour Party and UK Government

First thoughts: Trump, Russia, Ukraine

Trump seems to have finally gone off his head. I always favoured his election (on both occasions), and for one reason only— to avoid a Russia-USA or Russia-NATO conflict which would probably degenerate into a nuclear exchange, devastating Europe as well as Russia and North America.

I was never under any illusion about Trump, and, during his first term, called him “a squawking parrot in a gilded cage, guarded by a phalanx of Jews“. That has not changed.

Now Trump has (apparently) totally changed his stance on the conflict between Russia and the Kiev regime in Ukraine. He is sanguine about Russian planes being shot down if they overfly even the borders of Polish airspace, and has made the extraordinary statement that “Ukraine” (the Zelensky regime in Kiev) can “win” (defined as seizing back all territory occupied by Russian since 2014: Crimea, Donetsk, Lugansk etc).

The fact is that, even if supplied with new weapons (and Trump has not offered any directly), the Kiev regime would not be able to re-occupy those regions, because, first of all, the Kiev-regime armies are crumbling away. They lose 1,000-2,000 men per day, and try to plug the gaps by abducting men aged 25-65 from the streets of Ukrainian cities, pressing them into service by brutal compulsion.

Then there is the fact that most of the populations of Crimea, Donetsk and Lugansk are actually Russian and/or Russian-language speakers. They do not want to be part of the Jew Zelensky’s shambolic, corrupt, and brutal fake state.

If Trump orders huge new weapons transfers to Kiev, or that is done via NATO, and if it looks as if Russian advances are being pushed back, it may trigger a reaction in Moscow that few if any want— the use against the Kiev regime armed forces, or against Kiev itself, of tactical or even strategic nuclear weapons by the Russian side.

Trump says one thing one day, another thing another day. His brain, in strictly medical terms, may not be working normally now. That should worry even those of us who were (relatively) in favour of him in the past (though, personally, I myself never favoured most of his policies anyway, only some and somewhat).

Russia cannot lose this war and will not lose it.

If that is right, then all well and good (though if the analysis is correct, Trump should lay out his strategy more honestly or at least more clearly).

Put them up against a wall.

Incidentally, those deportation flights to Romania carry almost (?) entirely not real Romanians but Roma gypsies (with Romanian passports), a fact ITV News glosses over. Don’t insult real Romanians by conflating them with the Roma predators and scavengers.

Is this true? Can people be that stupid (even bearing in mind the disappointingly poor quality of Reform’s policies and people)?

If accurate, that would result in a Commons with Reform having about 287 MPs, Lab 192, LibDems 63, Cons 56, SNP 22 (etc). A minority Reform government, or one requiring Con MPs’ votes to keep it afloat.

Well, for once I agree with radio loudmouth James O’Brien, as well as Dan Hodges.

Farage should have added the unsaid, i.e. that those taxi drivers were (obviously) Muslims. Not that that necessarily makes their words an accurate prophecy, but it would have given needed context to what Farage was saying there.

[“This decision sends a green light to any Muslim who wants to enforce an Islamic blasphemy by taking the law into their own hands. The court is effectively saying that if you attack a blasphemer with a knife, he will be convicted of causing you harassment, alarm or distress and you won’t have to spend a day behind bars. Moussa Kadri has been let off with a suspended sentence after repeatedly slashing Hamit Coskun with a knife while shouting that he was going to kill him. Kadri had been enraged that Coskun was protesting against Islam. Hamit is still living in hiding having been convicted of a “hate crime” for burning his own copy of the Quran.”]

A completely wrong decision.

As the famous Dickensian character said, “the law is a ass, a idiot“…

Hard to believe that a violent foreign crazie like that has been effectively let off, even in today’s Britain.

Mass deportations now!

The Czechs…always a subject people…

God. Just look at them. “The simulacrum of the human”, as someone once called “them”.

A long tweet-thread, but enlightening.

Every. Single Time.

If not “them” directly, their agents or, to put it more plainly, slaves.

About the same number every day now. 1,000-2,000. It means that, over the course of a year, the Kiev regime is losing about half a million, or more, men.

Monkeyworld.

Presumably, the “security guard” has been told not to try to detain the thieves. They obviously know it, and are not at all deterred by his pointless presence.

Enoch Powell was not only right, as far as he went, but also wrong inasmuch as he did not go far enough, and never could have foreseen (even in his later years) the jungle that Britain’s urban concentrations have now become.

Get rid of them all.

As for the BBC, it puts the old Soviet propaganda to shame, so blatant is its lying, tendentious, and unwatchable garbage.

As previously noted on the blog, neither side should be directly targeting civilians.

[“The Spanish Prime Minister announced that he will send a warship to accompany the Sumud global fleet in Gaza to “ensure respect for international law”. Turkish MP Ozgur Ozel appealed to Erdogan to send Turkish ships to protect activists traveling by boats to Gaza: ‘We appeal to those who govern the country: the Sumud fleet is the conscience of humanity! Support this fleet. Whatever happens, protect this fleet!

Italian Minister of Defense: An Italian Navy ship has been dispatched to the “Steadfast Fleet” to provide assistance after it was attacked.“]

It would be a great thing if the Spanish, Italian, or Turkish naval ships in question ended up sinking the Israeli ones. It might lead who knows where…

Let us hope that that report is accurate.

Semitic.

Is that true? If so, why are they talking about it? Seems doubtful.

Blast from the past

I notice that a blog post from 2016, one of the earliest on this blog, has had a hit, the first for years:

Tweets seen

Perhaps if the black “yoots” (aka petty black gangsters) were to stop shooting and stabbing each other? Maybe that would help? Just a thought…

The police are sometimes called “woodentops”, sometimes for good reason.

The main good thing about that officer, as far as I know, is that the malicious Jewish lobby dislike him (because of the much-reported incident involving liar/perjurer Gideon Falter of the fanatical Israel-lobby group “Campaign Against Antisemitism”, or “CAA”): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_Rowley_(police_officer)#Commissioner_of_the_Metropolitan_Police

Overall, though, yet another careerist and idiotic quasi-traitor, it seems.

More Israeli war crimes. Every day, more atrocities. Speak out about what the Israeli Jews are doing and also about the link between Israel and the Jewish communities in the USA, UK, France etc. The latter act in concert with the former.

All very interesting.

[“Italian PM Giorgia Meloni hosted Volodymyr Zelensky at the Rome conference dinner – to remind Ukraine of its crushing debt to Europe, L’AntiDiplomatico reports. The dinner, hosted by “the duplicitous Meloni,” was formally meant to reaffirm economic support. In reality, it was a partial reckoning: The debt must be paid – they just need the right mechanism. According to the publication, the conference served as an opportunity to determine who would take charge of reconstruction – effectively seizing Ukraine’s wealth.”]

Irrelevant, because Ukraine east of the Dnieper, which is where almost all of the war damage is located, will be Russian territory before very long.

…and that actually happened, unlike the “German SS officer sniper” in the “faction” film, Schindler’s List

Incidentally, I think that many naive people think that Schindler’s List, adapted from the novel, Schindler’s Ark, is “history”, a factual account of events, whereas it is actually “faction”, i.e. mixed fact and fiction. You might compare it to the book and film, Day of the Jackal. In the latter, most of the main characters existed, as did most of the surrounding factual basis— the Algerian conflict, the OAS, General de Gaulle, the rebel leaders etc. The story, however, was a skilful blend of real events and made-up events and people.

As a matter of fact, the author of Schindler’s Ark (at time of writing of this blog still alive at the age of 89), was only a small boy in the early 1940s, and is Australian. His book is a novel, not “history” as such.

Rachael Maskell. Think I have not heard of her previously. Looks and sounds actually insane, as Dan Hodges says (and rarely do I agree with him!). She must be mentally-ill. Alternatively, she looks as if she might be affected by some drug or other. Her demeanour is very odd.

This is what Wikipedia says about Rachael Maskell: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rachael_Maskell.

On the face of it, not Jewish, and identifies as “evangelical Christian” (like many pro-Israel non-Jews), though I note that her family seems to have been tied-up with some Jewish individuals.

53 years old, apparently unmarried, and has lived entirely, it seems, in areas not much or at all blighted by mass immigration— Highcliffe in Dorset, Winchester, Norwich, and the London Borough of Barnet (a heavily-Jewish area).

Very pro-Jew and (?) pro-Israel: https://hansard.parliament.uk/commons/2019-06-13/debates/EAE3C409-8761-4044-90CC-B1A26085D755/JewishCommunityContributionToTheUK

MP for York Central since 2015: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/York_Central_(UK_Parliament_constituency)#Elections_in_the_2020s.

56.6% of the vote in 2024, so pretty firmly ensconced, it seems. Let’s see if Reform can get rid of her in 2028 or 2029.

Rachael Maskell MP— plainly treacherous. An enemy of all British people.

Incidentally, in that same 2019 House of Commons debate, part-Jew Ruth Smeeth (now in the House of Lords as “Baroness Anderson”), a proven agent of both Israel and the U.S. Embassy in London, and involved heavily with the malicious and mainly Jewish “Hope not Hate” group, said the following:

“As my hon. Friend is touching on the battle of Cable Street, I feel that I should put on the record my pride that my grandmother spent the 48 hours in the run-up to the battle of Cable Street—she lived in the east end of London—putting razor blades into tomatoes to throw at Nazis. I take a great deal of pleasure in being able to contribute to such an important debate, because the Jewish contribution to British life has had many different forms.” [https://hansard.parliament.uk/commons/2019-06-13/debates/EAE3C409-8761-4044-90CC-B1A26085D755/JewishCommunityContributionToTheUK].

Leaving aside the fact that members of Mosley’s British Union of Fascists [BUF] were not National Socialists (I wish they had been, and wish they had fought for European race and culture instead of, as many did, fighting 1939-45 in British uniform against German forces, often in North Africa and then Italy).

Ruth Smeeth is pro-Israel, pro-ZOG, pro Jewish political street violence (members of her own family were also hard-core criminals and gangsters), and here we see her true nature exposed from her own mouth.

Ruth Smeeth has admitted in that extract that she thinks that street terror by criminal Jews is a “contribution to British life”.

With a grandmother of that sort, well…what can one say?…

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ruth_Smeeth. Treacherous, an apologist for criminal activity and political street violence, and an agent for at least two foreign states. Now sits in the degraded “House of Lords”, and rules over the people she spied upon.

Ecce the “anti-fascist” type…

Westminster is an evil swamp now. Drain the swamp, or wash it away.

Good grief! What’s happening?! I agree with Dan Hodges again. Twice in a single day. Unglaublich...

I would, had I the political power, “stop the boats”.

How? By shooting down all cross-Channel invaders, and by rooting-out those facilitating the invasion (both on the European mainland and in the UK itself).

I should also “stop the boats” by degrading and punishing the Navy and Border Force (“Farce”) if they were to prove unable or unwilling to do their duty, then by replacing those orgs with another marine force, and/or by “privateers”, i.e. licensed “stop the boats” motor vessels crewed by bounty-hunters.

Further, I would task special forces (or, again, private and specially-licensed bounty-hunters, if necessary, i.e. if the SAS, SBS etc refuse to do their duty), those “privateers” or “bounty-hunters” to be charged with eliminating the gangsters in the EU (France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany etc) who are facilitating much of the invasion. Also, the fake “charity” “grifters” and other pro-invasion traitors.

Whatever it takes. Whatever it takes.

Rachel Reeves is very quiet. Must be having a quiet weekend cry at her grace-and-favour bolthole, Dorneywood, despite her not even having been attacked at Manchester Airport.

Mr. Rodin has given approximately £570,000 to Starmer’s Labour Party. He is chairman of the Israeli venture capital firm Hetz Ventures. Hetz employs prominent ex-members of The Mossad and IDF. £8,350 from pro-Israel lobbyist Trevor Chinn. £18,000 from Palace Yard Communications. Jo has received freebies and hospitality from the Football Association and funded international trips. With her husband comfortably ensconced in the Lords, her £93,904 salary, expenses and her generous donations, Jo is doing very well for herself financially as an MP. From the horse’s mouth.

Every. Single. Time.

Ironic, though, that Sweden, which now allows in every piece of trash from the backward parts of the world, is the only country to which I have ever been refused admission; at the port of Malmo, in 1982. The Swedes said that I was not carrying enough money to go around the Gulf of Bothnia to Finland. I was put back on the ferry to Travemunde, a small port on the then border between East and West Germany, the same day I arrived.

I would say “so another traitor speaks“, but of course Sajid Javid is not exactly a traitor, because he is not in any real sense British anyway; an apostate Pakistani Muslim who worships Israel and the Jews, and follows the crazed evil “teachings” of “Ayn Rand” (Alysa Rosenbaum), a mentally-disturbed Jewish woman sometimes called “the philosopher of selfishness”. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ayn_Rand.

Bin both “Ayn Rand” and Sajid Javid.

Incidentally, I see that Penny Mordaunt, chucked out by the voters, and who did not get a consolation peerage, is now trying to stay in the career loop via the old “antisemitism” racket, like mentally-unwell sex pest John Woodcock (now “Lord Walney”) and others.

See also:

…says the fanatical and very unpleasant Jew-Zionist who conspired with the so-called “Campaign Against Antisemitism” and “UK Lawyers for Israel” (“CAA” and “UKLFI”) for years to get me both disbarred and prosecuted. Typical Jew-Zionist hypocrite.

For those unaware of the existence of this blot on the Bar of England and Wales, Myerson was briefly a Recorder (part-time judge) who was sacked about a year ago (though allowed to call it “resignation”) after he repeatedly abused people on social media. Also, his sworn testimony in the fairly recent libel case of Wilson v. Mendelsohn, Newbon (deceased), and Cantor was not believed by the trial judge (who said so impliedly, if not expressly), which must say something about Myerson.

Good news but, by 2029, Yvette Cooper will be 60 anyway. Losing her Commons seat will, in my view, not be anything like the punishment that should be visited upon this would-be dictator, traitor, and expenses fraudster. Still, there it is, I suppose.

On the face of it, very impressive.

It seems clear that the USA was induced by the American Jewish lobby and Israel directly to attack Iran because Israel was in serious danger of losing the recent contest, its international airport closed, its ports mostly closed or avoided by foreign ships.

Those underground facilities in Iran indicate a long-term goal— regional hegemony. If Israel disappears, that leaves Iran as sole regional “superpower”, which may be why the craven Gulf Arabs are now effectively satraps of Israel and the USA. They are afraid of Iranian/Persian power.

War with Russia would be mad, but that does not mean it cannot or will not happen.

The real invasion (not the fantasy “Russian invasion”) continues, and will continue— unless the order is given to open fire, and neither Starmer-stein, nor Carpetbagger Kemi, nor Farage and his crew, will ever give such an order. They are all System fakes.

Saturday quiz

Well, this week 7/10, thus just beating political journalist John Rentoul, who scored 6/10. I did not know the answers to questions 6, 7, and 10. I admit that my (correct) answers to q.’s 4 and 9 were educated guesses.

Blog readers

I am always interested to see from where hits on the blog come. In the past week, from 16 different countries (inc. UK). Of course, with advances in technology, you cannot say for sure where readers are located; some may be, say, in Australia but appear to be in the USA, but I daresay most locations are accurate.

I was just looking at the apparent location of readers since I started the blog towards the end of 2016, so 8 years ago. Readers from 155 countries and territories in the world, so from about three-quarters of the world. There are 195 states in the world, plus some extra territories that do not have that status (such as Antarctica— and, yes I have had the odd hit from there, presumably from some scientist at a polar research base).

I have occasionally mused on who it might be in (inter alia) Lesotho, Antarctica, Greenland, Burkina Faso, the Aaland Islands (maybe I can guess who that particular one is), American Samoa, Chad, Tadjikistan, or Congo-Kinshasa, that is reading my thoughts and ideas.

The largest number of hits has always been from the UK, though (about 70%, with a further 10% from the USA).

The readership of the blog, on a daily basis, is still modest, never reaching over a thousand on any one day, and often not reaching even a hundred (I do not publicize the blog anywhere, and am not on Twitter/X or Facebook etc), but I have always taken the view that “one human soul is a big audience“.

Risible how System political scribblers, ivory-tower academics etc really still think that elections in the 2020s are still won by ridiculous local political footsoldiers knocking on doors, disturbing and and irritating householders, or by the voters reading the absolute shite put out on leaflets etc. This is 2024, not 1924…

John Rentoul seems unsure. He neither endorses nor dissents. He probably imagines that people actually read those (mostly) LibLabCon leaflets at election-time. Wrong; most, maybe 99%, go in the bin unread.

Even if Israel were to kill a million non-Jewish women, children, and other non-combatants (and the Israelis are well on the way, even in the past 15 months), many, perhaps most, Jews in both Israel and the West (including the UK) will respond to the expressed horror of others by referring back to the several hundreds killed by the Hamas assault of 7 October 2023.

A 15-month mechanized killing-machine operation, compared to an attack in one relatively small part of Israel abutting Gaza, which latter attack lasted a few hours, or a day or so.

Now the Israeli state is basically killing the surviving population in Gaza, via cold, hunger, destruction of hospitals, removal of help, medical aid, shelter, and also by randomly killing Gazan civilians of all ages.

No doubt, Israel will eventually settle the bulk, maybe the whole, of Gaza with militant Jews from places such as the slums of Brooklyn, or American/Australian/whatever suburbia.

At present, the Israelis are doing to Gaza exactly what the Romans did to defeated Carthage, but worse, because they are not even providing the survivors of the Gaza slaughter anywhere to go. Look at this report from the Israeli newspaper, Haaretz:

If there is one (now-ex-) politician I despise, it is Clegg. In 2010, a gullible voting public gave him enough MPs to demand electoral reform. Gordon Brown was willing to give him the halfway house of AV (Alternative Vote) at once (in 2010) without even having to hold a referendum; then later a referendum on real proportional representation, in return for basic LibDem support in the Commons for a minority Labour government.

That could have changed everything, but Clegg and his pathetic LibDem crew sold out to the fake “Conservatives” under David Cameron-Levita, and for what? Ministerial jobs, red boxes, government cars, higher salaries, and the fiction that the LibDems were finally “in government” in a meaningful way. That and, as a figleaf, a rigged AV Referendum.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2011_United_Kingdom_Alternative_Vote_referendum

Clegg and his LibDem crew acquiesced in all the terrible and damaging policies carried out by the part-Jews Cameron-Levita and Osborne between 2010 and 2015, then jumped ship to work (at a salary in the millions) for the Jew Zuckerberg at Facebook in California.

Incidentally, “Shortly ahead of the election, Clegg was asked about his own expenses by Andrew Neil of the BBC. Clegg allegedly claimed the full amount permissible under the Additional Cost Allowance, including claims for food, gardening and redecorating his second home. The Telegraph also said Clegg claimed £80 for international call charges.” [Wikipedia].

He took every penny he could despite his inherited family monies and trust fund, and despite both he and his wife being paid hundreds of thousands of pounds annually via salaries and (possibly) more legitimate expenses claims. The “food allowance”, by the way, was (until done away with sometime after 2010) a boondoggle via which MPs could claim up to about £500 a month, no questions asked or receipts required, “for food”. Many MPs, like Clegg, and like that horrible Jewish-lobby puppet Tom Watson [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tom_Watson,_Baron_Watson_of_Wyre_Forest], claimed the full amount (worth at least £950 a month in the money of 2025) every single month.

Graduate pay is falling – and an aggrieved generation could join white-collar workers in supporting Reform UK.

[Guardian]

Reform UK is but a stepping-stone, not the ultimate destination, and in multiple error ideologically, but the basic premise, based on the revolt of the “graduates” (whatever that really means these days), is interesting. The NSDAP was supported by many students and —often disenchanted— graduates.

My tentative opinion on that is that Trump is someone who likes to present himself as someone who gets things done. If Russia stays firm, Trump will offer more, probably.

From the Russian side, all that matters is whether Trump continues to give arms, ammunition, and money to the Kiev regime. There are three possibilities— more, less, or the same. “Less” can be split into “some” or “none”. My money is on “less” (but still “some”). That would mean that, in view of Russia’s superiority in numbers, arms, ammunition, and money, as well as having the backstop of both tactical and strategic nuclear weapons, Russian forces will continue to advance steadily in Eastern Ukraine during 2025.

As often said on this blog, Russia cannot lose this war and will not lose it.

Having said that, it is tragic that the Russian forces seemed pathetically incapable of executing a swift “Blitzkrieg for the sake of mercy” in early 2022, when the whole of Eastern Ukraine, as well as Odessa and Kiev, might easily have been taken with minimal loss of life and minimal damage generally.

Wilfully naive. The clue is in the name (Labour Friends of Israel)…

Forget the old “right”/”left” stuff.

Of the four seen fully in that photo, Wes Streeting, Ruth Smeeth, Jess Phillips, Anna Turley, two or three, I think three, are at least part-Jewish.

Rather noble. I have not been to Slovakia, though I have been through the part of Moravia (part of the neighbouring Czech Republic) not too far to the west of what is now the border (when I was travelling through by car, 36 years ago, it was all one country— Czechoslovakia).

So that is what Robert Largan is now up to. He lost his MP status at the 2024 General Election: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High_Peak_(UK_Parliament_constituency)#Elections_in_the_2020s. His previous job was as an accountant at Marks & Spencer: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Largan.

Largan has been volubly pro-Jew-Zionist and pro-Israel. As MP, and even before being elected in 2019, he frequently tweeted against those he considered “antisemitic”, including local resident and persecuted satirical singer-songwriter, Alison Chabloz. He tweeted a few times against me, too, if I recall aright.

I have no idea whether the trustee position about which Largan tweets is paid; I expect so. He does not seem to have taken on other work since he lost his Commons seat 5 months ago. However, the entire annual income of the organization is, apparently, less than £400,000, so any payment to trustees must be modest.

Seems that Israeli and U.S. “confidential contact”, Ruth Smeeth (now in the House of Lords) is or was another trustee of this organization. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ruth_Smeeth;

https://register-of-charities;charitycommission.gov.uk/en/charity-search/-/charity-details/3981970/trustees.

Others connected with that organization are Luke Akehurst, now an MP, and sinister former MP, “Lord” Ian Austin (search for my previous comments about him via the search box on the blog). https://antisemitism.org.uk/group-members/.

Having just looked at Largan’s Twitter/X timeline for the first time in months, I notice that its tenor is that of a politician still (local elections, local events, Westminster occurrences). Can it be that he hopes to be the Conservative Party candidate for High Peak next time? That is how it looks to me.

Largan, seemingly now resident within the constituency, will have an uphill climb if he wants to get elected again at High Peak. He won High Peak in 2019 by only 1.1 points (590 votes) over Labour’s candidate, but lost in 2024 by 16.1 points (7,908 votes).

In 2024, Reform UK came in a fairly respectable third, but Labour got more votes (just) than Conservative and Reform put together. Reform can only do better, arguably, next time, and may either win or deny the Con candidate the win.

Looking at a few of his recent tweets, I find a few things on which I can agree with Largan: for example, his opinion that The Battle of the River Plate is a very good film indeed. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_the_River_Plate.

The music, by Brian Easdale, is very fine, in my opinion.

The Kiev regime is running out of friends as well as soldiers.

Not an area of the world the politics of which I follow in detail. Unexpected to me. Why is it happening? In fact, what is really happening?

I really dislike everything about Jeremy Clarkson.

Most attacks on free speech in the UK come from the Jewish/Zionist pro-Israel lobby, who have been making malicious complaints about me and many others for (in my case) at least 12 years.

That tweeter seems to be hostile to persons expressing anti-Zionist views.

Law requires” maybe, but not all laws are in use every day or at all. English law still has statutes nominally in force which are now never applied. No doubt Iranian laws are similar in that sense.

Trump

Arguable. Open question (as to whether the attempt to kill Trump went beyond the 20-y-o sniper).

There do seem to be questions to be asked, and which are being asked.

https://twitter.com/raymo_g/status/1812533335308009807

Strange. I would not have thought so, looking at him, but there it is, for what it may be worth.

The Jerusalem Post does not address that, either way: https://www.jpost.com/international/article-810259

Neither have other Jewish and/or Israeli news outlets: https://www.israelhayom.com/2024/07/14/more-details-emerge-on-trump-shooters-background/; https://www.jns.org/thomas-matthew-crooks-20-idd-as-trump-shooter/.

Neither does Al Jazeera say anything about any Jewish connection, so there may not be one. https://www.aljazeera.com/news/2024/7/14/what-we-know-about-thomas-matthew-crooks-the-suspected-trump-rally-shooter

The Guardian:

https://www.theguardian.com/us-news/article/2024/jul/14/trump-rally-shooting-fbi-names-20-year-old-from-bethel-park-as-subject-involved

Demands for answers were mounting on Sunday as to how an armed man was able to get into position on a roof overlooking a rally and fire shots at Donald Trump – the 2024 presumptive Republican nominee – despite federal and local law enforcement presence and witnesses reportedly alerting police.

Trump was bleeding from his right ear and later described a bullet whizzing by while he was speaking at the rally. An attendee was killed and Secret Service agents then shot dead the suspect, with eyewitness reports that someone outside the rally had told police they’d seen the armed suspect heading to the roof but it appeared that officers did not respond.

How was it that someone could get [in position] on a roof … with a weapon and try to assassinate [Trump]?” Turner told CNN’s State of the Union show on Sunday morning, adding: “The fact that people knew there was a man with a rifle and were trying to get the police’s attention is a cause for concern.”

[The Guardian]

What we also know is that this shocking event is about much more than the shooter and the bullet. The race for the White House, which in recent weeks has seen Donald Trump pull comfortably ahead in the polls, was already turning deadly. On a private phone call with donors last week, Joe Biden reportedly said, “It’s time to put Trump in a bullseye”. Only two weeks ago he described Trump as “a genuine threat to this nation”. And these were only the latest in a long series of quasi-violent threats that came from the ‘liberal’ left of American politics, not the right.

There was Robert de Niro saying he’d like to punch Trump “in the face”. There was comedienne Kathy Griffin who posed with a graphic model of Trump’s severed head. There was Mickey Rourke who said he’d hit Trump with a “left hook from hell”On and on it goes. Anthony Bourdain, Snoop Dogg, George Lopez, Pearl Jam, Madonna, Johnny Depp, Rosie O’Donnell. These are just some of the many left-leaning celebrities who have threatened or wished violence upon Trump.

The two female U.S. Secret Service bodyguards look useless. Out of place.

The real UK population is already somewhere between 65M and 70M. Wake up.

It is bad enough when families like that get caught up in a “normal” war, but what we see in Gaza is a relentless and largely one-sided attack by one side (which alone has planes, real missiles, tanks, all sorts of advanced weaponry etc) upon an almost defenceless population. A kind of savage bullying of a civilian population by a heartless and ideologically-harsh tribe.

As for thick-as-two-short-planks Lammy, were he not (for his own benefit) willing to say more or less what the UK Israel lobby wants him to say, he would not be in the (Labour Friends of Israel) Starmer-Labour government, let alone Cabinet.

The last tweet there by tweeter “@alexphaea” is typical of kneejerk Labourites, i.e. “all that matters is having a Labour-label government, even if it is almost indistinguishable in policy terms (or results) from a Conservative-label one“…

One of the latest statements by Senator J.D. Vance, who today became a candidate for US Vice President in conjunction with Donald Trump, about the conflict in Ukraine :

“In particular, on the issue of Ukraine, everyone with a brain knows that this will end in negotiations… Ukraine is functionally destroyed as a country… […] Our policy towards Ukraine is unsustainable. The average age of a soldier in their army is 43 years old – No one older than me can articulate what $61 billion can achieve, so we need to seek a negotiated end to the war.

If Trump can get re-elected, and take away Zelensky’s ricebowl in all senses, the war can finish, either by negotiation in a few months, or via Russian victory east of the Dnieper in a few weeks.

Sadly, though, all mainstream American politicians are poisoned, at an early stage in their careers, by the Israel lobby:

Still, politics is the art of the possible. There are no social national candidates of any weight standing in those American elections.

England in 2024, a “nation” which pretends to be in mourning because the “England” football team, most of whom are not really English anyway, fail to win a football competition somewhere or other.

Diary Blog, 30 May 2024, including a few thoughts about Starmer

Morning music

[Neuschwanstein]

Starmer

I agree with that “@chelleryn99” tweet.

As with “Boris”-idiot, there is something of the onion, or the matrioshka, about Starmer. Several layers, but nothing (or something quite different and/or alien) at the centre.

Performative Labour tribalist (who however always looks uncomfortable with that), one-time criminal defence barrister turned high-level public prosecution lawyer, the not-quite-true faux-proletarian background (parents not so poor, and who sent him to a partly fee-paying school in a good part of Surrey), the (half-) Polish-Jewish wife, and the children brought up as if fully-Jewish… https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Victoria_Starmer.

Lady Starmer is Jewish and Sir Keir has talked about keeping the tradition of family Friday night dinners, where they are often joined by her father for prayers.

So I suppose that Starmer wears one of those little skullcaps, a yarmulka (I think) on such occasions? Maybe, maybe not. I have not seen anything as to whether all attendees at such dinners do or not. The Jewish prayer part of that paragraph seems to suggest that Starmer does wear such headgear but (needless to say) I have never seen a photo of him wearing it.

The YouGov/Sky News poll asked this week whether voters thought he would be a good or bad prime minister. Almost half – 47% – said bad. The older the voter, the more pessimistic they are.

Sir Keir is starting from a low base – not as bad as Rishi Sunak, but still bad. By contrast, only 33% said they thought he’d be good.

That level of enthusiasm suggests Sir Keir may not enjoy much of a public opinion honeymoon, just at a point where he is likely to have to start by making difficult decisions, most notably on raising taxes.

One of the themes of this election has been the party’s clarity that while it will promise not to raise income tax, national insurance and corporation tax, no such bar exists on other taxes.

[Sky News]

He will probably raise the level of VAT. Even a 1% rise would harvest a huge amount of money. Pretty tough on poorer people, though…Maybe an increase in fuel duty, too (sold —or not— to the public as “green”, of course…).

Where is Starmer, ideologically?

Starmer’s politics have been described as unclear and “hard to define”.[142][143][144] When he was elected as Labour leader, Starmer was widely believed to belong to the soft left of the Labour Party.[145] However, he has since moved to the political centre-ground.[146][147] By the September 2023 shadow cabinet reshuffle, most analysts concluded that Starmer had moved to the right of the party, and had demoted and marginalised those on the soft left, replacing them with Blairites.[148][149][150][128][127]

[Wikipedia https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Keir_Starmer#Political_positions].

So, again, Starmer is impossible to pin down. Not socialist, not really even a social-democrat, yet also without any of the respect for private enterprise or private views that one used to see in the “small-c” conservatives.

In April 2023, Starmer gave an interview to The Economist on defining Starmerism.[152][154] In this interview, two main strands of Starmerism were identified.[154]

The first strand focused on a critique of the British state for being too ineffective and over-centralised. The answer to this critique was to base governance on five main missions to be followed over two terms of government; these missions would determine all government policy.

The second strand was the adherence to an economic policy of “modern supply-side economics” based on expanding economic productivity by increasing participation in the labour market, mitigating the impact of Brexit and simplifying the construction planning process.[154]

[Wikipedia]

Boiled down, what that seems to suggest is another Iain Dunce Duncan Smith-style attempt to harry the poor, sick, disabled (and the middle-aged not yet of State Pension age) to poorly-paid work “opportunities”, while cutting back social security “welfare” payments harshly. Also, Starmer will cave in to the any demands of the EU.

There is no obvious suggestion that Starmer and Rachel Reeves are interested in the effect of robotics and AI, which together may destroy existing jobs by the million, thus positing the need for Basic Income.

The last strand featured is as bad, or worse: caving in to the demands of the housebuilding industry.

Starmer will probably allow the large housebuilding companies to spread their expensive but often jerry-built “little boxes, made of ticky-tacky” across the English countryside.

Starmer will no doubt talk about the “housing crisis” but fail to note that most of that is consequential upon the migration invasion (a million or more every year now). Sajid Javid, another pro-Israel puppet (now washed-up politically), also showed himself unwilling to see the facts:

Try 10-15 million (over the past 25 years, including births to immigrants)…

As to the mass immigration influx itself, Starmer-Labour will eventually stop most of the cross-Channel small-boat invasion by the simple expedient of setting up “processing centres” (maybe simple offices) in Northern France. There, the would-be invaders will, almost all of them, have their applications to enter the UK rubber-stamped.

At present, 80% of those arriving here and claiming “asylum” have their applications approved anyway (under a system that was out of date decades ago), so Starmer will simply lower the bar even further so that 90% or 95% are approved (filtering out, it will be claimed, any known criminals or terrorists— all bs of course). The public will then be sedated into complacency— far fewer “small boats” (or invaders ferried in by the RNLI, Navy, Border “Farce” etc) will be seen arriving.

In fact, the more obvious criminal/terrorist invaders will still arrive, using the “small boat” or “back of truck” methods, but the numbers will be only about a twentieth of the number now arriving. As to the rest, armed with their new Starmer-visas, they will just take the ordinary ferries.

Of course, Starmer will not “solve” the migration-invasion crisis, but just cover it up. That is what he does. There is a massive dishonesty lurking in Starmer.

More? “Starmer has pledged to halve the rates of violence against women and girls, halve the rates of serious violent crime, halve the incidents of knife crime, increase confidence in the criminal justice system, and create a ‘Charging Commission’ which would be “tasked with coming up with reforms to reverse the decline in the number of offences being solved”.[190] He has also committed to placing specialist domestic violence workers in the control rooms of every police force responding to 999 calls to support victims of abuse.[191]

In 2023, the Byline Times wrote that Starmer “actively opposes a move to proportional representation for the House of Commons”.[192]

After confirming he would not scrap the current two-child benefit cap, Starmer was criticised by many within his own party.[193]

[Wikipedia]

There is a thread there, a thread of antipathy to civil rights; a thread of authoritarianism .

Remember how Starmer wanted even fiercer, more restrictive, and longer-lasting “lockdowns” during the 2020-2022 currency of the “Covid” panicdemic/scamdemic?

My response?

There are times in history when authoritarian government is inescapable; even outright —though temporary— dictatorship. However, that should not be the norm, particularly in a country such as the UK, with its history of gradually-broadening rights and freedoms.

Incidentally (?), “According to Declassified UK, Starmer is a former member of the Trilateral Commission.[225]

In other words, Starmer is a “chosen” part of the whole NWO/ZOG matrix, and that of course includes the plan to destroy the future of the European peoples, the Coudenhove-Kalergi Plan: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kalergi_Plan.

Starmer may take part in Jewish pre-prandial or post-prandial (?) prayers (as he has stated) but, once again, that seems to be something merely performative with him, he being an atheist anyway.

Foreign policy is easy to predict: Starmer was willing to say that the “Israelis” have every right to shut off even water to the suffering children of Gaza. He is a Jewish-lobby and Israel-lobby puppet. Completely.

Other than that, Starmer will do whatever the “Americans” (the USA’s ruling circles and cabals) want him to do. So… “support” for Israel, “support” (money, arms etc ) for “Ukraine” (the Kiev regime) etc.

Incidentally, there is much election bs being talked by Labour Party supporters as to how Labour will be a kinder sort of government than that of Sunak’s clowns. I doubt it. I would not put anyone in charge of such as Rachel Reeves, Yvette Cooper, and the other Labour Friends of Israel types. As to Starmer, his support for Israel cutting off food and even water to the women and children of devastated Gaza shows just how far his much-trumpeted “compassion” goes…

If Starmer is willing to cut off food and water to the suffering civilians of Gaza, what might he be willing to do to the people of the UK?

I see no real centre to Starmer; even his doglike loyalty to Israel and the Jew-Zionist lobby seems performative, yet that is the only thing that seems to mean anything at all to him.

Starmer displays no obvious ideological loyalty (as such), no old-fashioned class-loyalty (to any social class or category), and no religious loyalty (an atheist, presumably originally Church of England).

Who, really, is this?

It is hard, of course, to see evil in someone as dull as Starmer, despite the oft-quoted words of Hannah Arendt about “the banality of evil“. The expectation, I think misguided, is that Evil, whether cosmic or on the mundane plane, will somehow be more interesting than the Good.

Starmer should worry people, not because he has expressed any particularly “evil”, or even “bad” ideas (he even weaselled ab out cutting off water to families in Gaza, tried to evade the question etc), or some kind of (obviously) sinister ideological base, but more because he, like those he gathers closely around him, has no ideas beyond the most shallow. Someone trying to be elected (in effect) as Prime Minister is expected to come up with at least a few ideas, if not a coherent ideology, and Starmer either does not or cannot.

Will Starmer-Labour create a better Britain? No. I see a harsher, more intrusive police state likely to emerge. Mass immigration will continue, perhaps in even greater volume, and our towns and cities will, despite the encroaching police state, become no-go areas policed by even-less responsive paramilitary police.

Economically? A gradual downturn. The spending cuts agenda apparently very likely, combined with the cost of the continuing migration invasion of parasites, as well as the backfire effect of sanctions against Russia will ensure that.

Starmer’s government will, as predicted by Matt Goodwin, become very unpopular very quickly. However, in the absence of any real Opposition in the Commons (the Con —or possibly LibDem— official Opposition, post-GE 2024, may have only about 50 MPs), it may be possible for social nationalism to make real headway outside, in the “real world”.

Election notes

Well, we now know that 4 July 2024 is to be the fateful day. Is it a co-incidence that that is Independence Day in the USA? Does the choice of day have some symbolic, even occultic, significance? Maybe not, but there seems to be no obvious reason for that day to be the day.

Exactly 5 weeks from today.

Note the huge Lab majority, and the fact that the Cons are not even shown as the official Opposition (LibDems, incredibly). Also, the SNP predicted to lose three-quarters of their 2019 seats.

As I have been saying for a long time on the blog.

Gradually, gradually, South Africa descends into darkness. The European (white) population, which at one time (1911) was about 22% of the whole, has declined sharply since “majority rule” (African corrupt crony rule) came in 30 years ago, and is now only about 7%. Once that 7% figure drops to 1% or 2%, maybe by 2040, South Africa will go the way of the Congo, Nigeria, Zimbabwe etc.

Imagine if the Jews had never been allowed to create the Israeli state in the 1940s, and had (in the 1940s and 1930s, and also since 1956) been prevented from moving there. The whole of the Israel/Palestine situation, and much of the instability of the region, would never have developed.

If this situation continues to slide, by 2030 there will be no Germany, no Poland as we know them. Probably no Ukraine either, and quite possibly no UK, France, USA or urban Russia.

As white Northern Europeans, those of us left alive at that point would be faced with the necessity of creating almost an entirely new culture and civilization as a basic foundation for a much later super-race and super-culture: see https://ianrobertmillard.org/2019/01/26/the-tide-is-coming-in-reflections-on-the-possible-end-of-our-present-civilization-and-what-might-follow/.

Here we are, at 1224 on a Thursday early afternoon, and Myerson has already tweeted, by my count, 49 times today, mostly to mock others.

This is not, in my view, an individual fitted to sit in judgment over others as a Recorder (p/t judge).

…and —wouldn’t you know it?— pro-Israel puppet Iain Dale stands, in that Daily Telegraph photo, with the branding of the malicious “Campaign Against Antisemitism” behind him.

It would be good were Dale to fail to be elected, but Tunbridge Wells has not elected anyone not from the Conservative Party since the present constituency was established in 1974: see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tunbridge_Wells_(UK_Parliament_constituency)#Elections_in_the_2020s.

Even Peter Oborne, though, does not mention, expressly, the “JQ”, or that the msm in the UK is not free at all (for that reason).

Note the BICOM connection. The half-Jewish Israel activist, former MP, and now life peer —thanks to Starmer— Ruth Smeeth was at one point one of its directors: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ruth_Smeeth.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Britain_Israel_Communications_and_Research_Centre.

Ruth Smeeth has also worked for other Jewish and Israeli organizations.

I have to admit that I did not know that Myerson had called another Jew a “house Jew“. I wonder whether that would count as “grossly offensive“? It would if I published it, no doubt…

Ha. Quite. Scotland, were it to vote for the SNP’s faux-“Independence”, would not be governed by Westminster, true, but it would be governed by the EU, by American or NWO/ZOG influence (NATO etc), by the international banking system etc, and domestically probably by a Pakistani “Scotsman”. Who are the SNP trying to fool? The Scottish people, I suppose.

I see that the SNP is now predicted to win as few as 12 seats (out of 57) this year, from 48 (out of 59) won in 2019. I think that the SNP has had its day as an overwhelming force in Scotland. In 2015, it suddenly shot into prominence with 56 out of 59 Scottish Westminster seats, but the last 9 years have been riven with scandal and underperformance. Above all, not only has Independence not happened, fewer Scots now support it than did a decade ago; it is a minority cause.

Good grief. What a deadhead. This is him: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_Logan_(politician). Hard to believe that the Foreign Office employed him in some capacity for a (brief? Not so brief?) period (in Shanghai). He also worked for a Chinese company. The gap between when he left f/t education around 2007 and when he started to contest elections (2017) is about 10 years, so there may have been other activity somewhere.

BREAKING | The new Dutch cabinet just nominated top justice ministry official and former intelligence chief Dick Schoof as the “preferred candidate” for Prime Ministership. And the situation is bad. Real bad.

Dick Schoof – or “Mr. Deepstate” as I’d like to call him – is the former head of the Dutch Intelligence and Security Service (AIVD) as well as the former national coordinator of the counter-terrorism unit (NCTV) which is known to focus on combatting “anti-government extremism”. As if that isn’t bad enough, he was also: – behind the Dutch covid regime – involved in the Trump-Russia hoax – behind the cover-up of flight MH17 reports – spying on Dutch citizens here on @X with fake accounts operated by the government.

He’s currently the secretary-general at the Ministry of Justice and Security, which makes him the highest ranking civil servant. He’s quite literally the personification of a technocratic bureaucrat and, – being a former member of the Dutch Labour party – the exact opposite of what the Dutch population has voted for during the elections last November.

@geertwilderspvv should have never given up his rightful claim to Prime Ministership. With a man like this leading the country I’m sure the digital surveillance state we’ve been warning for all these years will be here sooner than expected.”

Well, at least he has been identified…

Diary Blog, 27 May 2024, with more thoughts about Sunak’s “National Service” idea

“National Service”

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-13462137/rishi-sunak-national-service-open-doors-teenagers-university.html

Under the [“National Service”] plan, 18-year-olds will be given a choice between a full-time placement in the Armed Forces for 12 months or spending one weekend a month for a year [doing community work].

The Tories would also encourage employers to consider those who complete the Armed Forces placement during job applications.

However, the Armed Forces option would be selective – with only around 30,000 placements for ‘the brightest and best’.”

[Daily Mail]

So Sunak’s cockeyed “plan” for conscription turns out to be mainly a plan to have untrained 18-y-o young men and, I presume, women doing a kind of forced labour on one weekend per month for a year. Even by Sunak’s standards, this is pretty silly.

For one thing, the time is unbalanced. Leaving aside any Army/Navy leave or liberty days, it means that those choosing and being selected for the military or naval option will spend 365 days serving. The “civilian” option, though, will only take up 24 days.

Guess which option most young people are going to choose?

Even if you take off maybe 125 liberty days or leave days from the 365, that still only reduces to about 240 days on duty, as against 24. Ten times the commitment.

The idea that employers will give the “military/naval option” cadets an easier ride in later civilian job recruitment could not be enforced and relies entirely on goodwill.

In fact, the year of service (in either case) will set back the cadets or National Service litter-pickers for a year, especially the military/naval cadets, except those planning a Service career anyway.

As for the rest, spending one weekend a month picking up litter, helping clean hospitals, or planting trees, might not be a huge commitment of time, but will be seen by most as a kind of slave or serf labour, even if remunerated or compensated at say £150 per weekend (I have seen nothing so far, though, about any remuneration).

I suppose that, if the 30,000 military/naval cadets were offered pay (£15,000 p.a.?) and a gratuity, on completion, of some not-trifling amount (say £12,000 in cash, taxfree), that might spark some interest.

Over 700,000 or so people turn 18 every year in the UK. That means that 670,000+ will be on the monthly “community service” option.

What happens if the litter-pickers (etc) decide not to comply? Do they get taken to court? Fined? Ordered to comply on pain of imprisonment? What if there is mass non-compliance, or organized civil disobedience?

In fact, in view of the fact that the State has not the resources with which to imprison up to 700,000 young people, the most they could be given might be…unpaid work for a few days a month. Oh…

This has not been thought through by Sunak and/or those around him.

Likewise with the military/naval option. To train recruits to a basic level takes maybe 2-4 months (the British Army takes 14 weeks to basic-train standard recruits, the Royal Navy 10 weeks for ratings; officers are basic-trained for longer, 15-30 weeks), and overall training of those National Service cadets is likely to take a total of as long as 6 months (the British Army takes 44 weeks to fully train an officer).

In other words, after training, the cadets will only be available for deployment for 6 months before their time is up and they either leave or join the regular Army or Navy. Any trained to an officer level will only be available for deployment for a few months, or even weeks.

The latest statistics for UK armed forces state that 10,680 recruits joined in a year (all arms), plus 3,890 in the Reserves (former TA). So nearly 15,000 (of all ages). https://www.gov.uk/government/statistics/quarterly-service-personnel-statistics-2024/quarterly-service-personnel-statistics-1-january-2024.

In other words, the increase in manpower might only be 15,000 or so, or is the idea to have both ordinary recruitment and National Service recruitment? Looks as though the end result would be much the same.

Also, who would choose to join as National Service recruit when he/she could join up with (?) better pay and conditions as a regular recruit and/or as an officer-cadet?

Will the National Service cadets or recruits be put into dedicated units, or mixed-in with regular units?

Again, this really has not been thought through.

The people this crazy scheme is apparently supposed to “help”, or change, or just control and monitor the most, those disaffected 18-y-o individuals who are not at or planning to go to university, nor into a structured career or job of some kind, will be the least likely to opt for the military/naval option, so will “choose” the “one weekend per month” option, and probably either fail to attend, or may do it very unwillingly, like a “community payback” penalty imposed by the courts.

What is the point?

Also, if the government has a force of about 670,000 “litter-pickers” (etc) to deploy, how many older (older than 18) people will thereby be deprived of the chance of doing paid or better-paid jobs doing the same or similar work?

Once again, the consequential effects have not been properly thought through.

As if the pathetic French government is going to be able to do something/anything about this. The biggest weakness of all French governments is that they mistake making a gesture for actually accomplishing something. Macron is a prime example.

In fact, thinking of the French love for demonstrations and marches, most entirely ineffective, the tendency goes wider than just the political leadership.

Pity that the British Empire no longer exists. Churchill killed several empires, in effect— the German Reich, the British Empire (which died after using its sting to kill the German Reich), and the other European empires, which all eventually succumbed in direct or indirect consequence of what happened after 1939.

This is what the near future has in store for the UK— a literal Israeli agent as Secretary of State for Defence. Look at ex-MP John Woodcock (now “Lord Walney”), a sex pest and depressive case who is one of the worst Israel/Jewish lobby puppets at Westminster. He is apparently over-excited by the possibility that Israel will have yet another of its main “candidates” at Cabinet level, right in there with the others (Starmer, Yvette Cooper, Rachel Reeves, Liz Kendall, Lisa Nandy etc).

All true (about Starmer), but all I myself am interested in, re. the upcoming General Election, directly, is to collapse one of the two main System parties, even at the high cost of allowing the other to become an “elected” dictatorship. Only by unbalancing the “two main parties” system can a social-national alternative arise.

Ecce the ****-poor quality of political reportage in the UK. Beth Rigby (the woman with the ludicrous accent or diction on Sky News) thinks that Lancing (West Sussex) is “near” Oxted (Surrey). Near? Well, 65.4 miles by road; as the crow flies, maybe 50 miles.

Pathetic.

Says it all. A Con Party MP, with a majority in 2019 of 4,214, prefers to vacation rather than try to save himself from being ejected. He knows that he and his party are toast (in fact, his own majority has been sliding since 2015: see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Wycombe_(UK_Parliament_constituency)#Elections_in_the_2010s).

Those are the sort of cretins advising ministers and prime ministers in this country…

I think that that was in Downing Street, though, not at CCHQ (Con Party HQ). Maybe I am mistaken, but that was my recollection.

So the Jewish chief of the Con Party election campaign is being accused of falling down on the job, thus making it even easier for pro-Israel Starmer and his cabal to win said election with a huge majority? I feel a conspiracy theory coming on…

[Addendum, same day: a regular reader of the blog suggests that Isaac Levido is not Jewish. I do not know for sure, despite the name(s) and the look of the said publicist, so am adding this cautionary addendum in the interests of accuracy and fairness].

Having said that, why the voters are turning away from the Con Party is not mainly by reason of poor presentation but by reason of very poor actual government of the country over the past 14 years, and especially the past 5 years.

As Schiller put it, “Against stupidity, the Gods themselves struggle in vain“…[Schiller, Die Jungfrau von Orleans].

It is probably pointless to speculate on why those poor people, living on pennies, support the ultra-wealthy little Indian money-juggler. Mental degeneration? Insanity? Congenital mental problems?

Having said that, they are not entirely wrong, inasmuch as the Labour Party under Starmer, Rachel Reeves, Yvette Cooper, Liz Kendall etc will probably be as bad as, and maybe worse than, Sunak and crew as far as social security “welfare” in concerned.

What can it be? The Israeli flag is to replace the Union Jack? Unlikely (too obvious). Sunak has resigned and there will be an immediate leadership election? Just about possible. British troops are being sent to fight on the Ukrainian frontlines? In that case, Goodnight Vienna London; it has been a pleasure…

At time of writing, it is —right now— 2229, so back in a minute or so…

2235. Still waiting. The clowns cannot even get their big announcement out on time.

So that’s at. A desperate attempt to hold on to at least the former Con Party core vote of pensioners. The full registered electorate of the UK is about 45.5M; persons 65+ total about 11M, so about 27% of the electorate. Also, far more likely, traditionally to vote, either by post or in person.

These are pretty much the only people, or at least by far the biggest bloc, still likely to vote Con at GE 2024.

Whether it will make much difference, hard to say. Many pensioners will wonder a. as to whether Sunak will even be there after 4 July, and b. whether he can be trusted. There again, not all vote on the basis of perceived self-interest.

As a “big announcement”, slightly underwhelming, but I expect it will buy at least some votes. Absolutely desperate though, as a tactic.

Sending hundreds of tanks to Ukraine (from all over Europe and the USA) is a massive escalation. In reality, even one nuclear missile on London = the UK finished for a hundred years or more. Even one nuclear missile on each of New York, LA, San Francisco, Washington DC, Philadelphia, Houston, Miami, Chicago, Boston = USA finished for decades, maybe a hundred years or more.

Yes, Russia’s major cities and military centres too, but does that help us? No.

This is not the way to go. The escalation has to stop, and then be reversed.

The present UK Defence Secretary is what was once termed “a passed-over major“, a former officer who, when serving, was unlikely ever to reach senior command. Not someone who can be relied on now.

As a matter of fact, Wallace was a mere captain, not even a major, by the end of his service. See: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ben_Wallace_(politician)#Early_life.

That Tom Harwood person is just another pseudo-national traitor to the people of Britain and the peoples of Europe.

That was what happened in the Royal Navy and the U.S. Navy.

I recall that, when I first lived in the USA, in 1989 or 1990, the first US Navy ship to go mixed-sex was deployed to the Gulf. An aircraft-carrier, I think. The sailors did not object to nearly 100 women sailors joining the crew, but their wives certainly did! With some reason: when the deployment finished, it turned out that about 90 of the —less than 100— women on board had been made pregnant…

As for the Royal Navy, it matters little now, because the Royal Navy scarcely exists as an effective force. Apart from the paucity of ships, there is the question of the quality of many of the officers and men.

I happened to see about 15 mins of a documentary about a British warship. About a third of the complement seemed to be women. The junior officers (men and women) seemed to be incredibly dim, and rather wet (in a non-oceanic way). Drunk, too.

As for the crew, their shore leave in Italy ended with many drunk and near-incapable. Admittedly, rather an old naval tradition, but it was unpleasant to see, especially, the female members of the crew so drunk that they were unable to walk, falling into the gutter in their short skirts, just as they presumably did in the “left behind” UK towns from where many of them must have originated.

Jewish National Fund UK chair: ‘Jews have no future in England

In an interview with the Jerusalem Post earlier this month, Jewish National Fund UK chair Samuel Hayek warned British Jews may “feel more comfortable” after the defeat of Jeremy Corbyn but “the underlying issues have not gone away”.

In addition to suggesting British Jews should consider emigration, he said: “Let’s assume that Corbyn would have become prime minister. We all know our lives would have changed without recognition. We cannot even understand it fully.”

“Is it easy to sell their businesses?” he asked. “Could they do it quickly? Where would they go? To South Africa, the United States, Canada – hopefully, Israel.”

No, of course not; yet if you, as an English person, say “boo” not even to a Jew but about him (or her, or it), the skies will fall in as the police —or even, maybe, their “anti-terror command”— play at being a poundland KGB.

Labour Party

Interesting, and typical of many tweets seen this morning. Looks as if Keir Starmer’s Jewish-lobby “Labour” Party (Rachel Reeves, like Starmer and all his Shadow Cabinet, being a fervent member of Labour Friends of Israel) is not convincing many. I concede that Twitter is very unrepresentative, but offline I have not met an openly Labour supporter or voter for about 7 years.

That is one reason why I took a very early look, a few days ago, at the Erdington by-election. That looks very much like it is going to be a straight Labour-Conservative fight, in a situation where both main System parties have lost public confidence. The question is, which party is hated and/or despised the most?

In recent by-elections, the Conservative Party has done badly, losing two hitherto safe Con seats, but to the LibDems as relatively uncontroversial third party, not to Labour. Both Chesham and Amersham, and North Shropshire, were considered safe Con seats. Birmingham Erdington has been a safe Labour seat since the 1930s (with a near-upset in 1983).

The Conservative Party vote-share fell hugely in the two by-elections mentioned; it also fell at the 2021 Batley and Spen by-election (won narrowly by Labour), and that at Old Sidcup and Bexley (won easily by the Conservatives).

However, in all those by-elections except Old Bexley, the Labour vote also fell, and by a considerable amount. The Labour percentage vote-shares were: Batley and Spen 35.3%; Old Bexley and Sidcup 30.9%; North Shropshire 9.7%; Chesham and Amersham 1.6%.

Another, earlier, 2021 by-election, was that held at Hartlepool, in March 2021. There, in a seat always Labour since its establishment in 1974 (and usually also in the predecessor constituency), and where Labour candidates almost always scored over 50% (Peter Mandelson 60.7% in 1997), Labour’s losing (to Conservatives) 2021 by-election vote-share was only 28.7%.

None of Labour’s 2021 by-election results can be plausibly laid at the door of the departed Jeremy Corbyn.

Out of those 5 by-elections, only one success (Batley and Spen) and only one increase in vote-share (Old Bexley and Sidcup). To me, the results show that Labour is being seen as not only unpopular but as actually irrelevant. As I have noted before, the Keir Starmer “pitch” to the public is, more or less, “we support what the Government is doing, on the whole, but it should be doing it better, and while down on one knee and wearing a facemask“. Not very inspiring.

The odds must be that the Birmingham Erdington by-election will go Labour’s way, but I am unsure about that. Until the past few weeks, I should have said that the Cons were only a couple of points behind Lab in the constituency. Now? Hard to say. This may be a battle between two blocs of apathy…

Islington North: more Labour Party news

A high-profile Labour woman who lost her seat ‘thanks to Jeremy Corbyn‘ should be the candidate to end his Commons career, it was suggested last night.

Party insiders say that one of several female MPs who lost in the disastrous 2019 election would be Labour’s best choice to stand against the former leader in his North London stronghold, Islington North.

Mr Corbyn is currently barred from standing as the Labour candidate in the next General Election because of a bitter antisemitism row with Sir Keir Starmer.” [Mail on Sunday]

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-10382919/Labour-woman-lines-Jeremy-Corbyn-London-stronghold-Islington-North.html

I think that one can guess what (((type))) of individual thought up that bitter and vindictive “pound of flesh” idea…

Mary Creagh was one of the most active and fervent pro-Israel drones in the Commons; Ruth Smeeth, half-Jewish and descended on one side from East London gangsters, was exposed by Wikileaks as listed as a “to be strictly protected” secret informant by the U.S. Embassy in London. In effect, an agent or spy, to put it one way. It is not known (by me) whether she was paid for that. Before becoming an MP, she was also employed by the Israeli propaganda operation known as BICOM.

Both women were or are members of Labour Friends of Israel. Both were found well-paid jobs heading non-governmental orgs after the electors of their constituencies disposed of them.

As to what might well happen if one of those two is selected by the Jewish-lobby “Labour” Party now headed by Keir Starmer to contest Islington North, that might be interesting.

Islington North is a very solid Labour stronghold. The last election there won by the Conservative Party was in 1935. No Labour Party candidate since 1931 has recorded a vote-share below 40%.

Corbyn has been MP for Islington North since 1983, and his peak vote-share of 73% (in 2017) exceeded even that which he achieved in 1997 (69.3%) and that of the winning Labour candidate in 1945 (67.4%). In 2019, his vote was at 64.3%. Only when he was first elected in 1983 did his vote-share dip below 50% (40.4%), and that was because the Social Democratic Party stood, and garnered a vote of 22.4% (Con 25.3%).

How much of that solid Labour voting is for Labour label, and how much for Corbyn? We have seen many past examples of former Labour MPs standing as independent or small-party candidates, only to be swept away. No doubt Starmer and “Labour Friends of Israel” hope that that will happen in this case. I doubt it.

This situation is, as far as I know, unprecedented. Former Labour ministers have stood against Labour in the past (notably in the SDP days), and with mixed but generally poor results. Never, however, has a former Labour Party leader stood for election in a constituency, against an official Labour Party candidate.

Corbyn is extremely well-known, to say the least, both in the country generally (since 2015) and in the constituency (since 1983; 38 years…).

I should think that, in such unique circumstances, Corbyn would have every chance if he stood as Independent, or Independent Labour. I doubt that, with his background, he would start a new party.

The Conservative Party vote-share in the constituency peaked at 66.07% in 1931; since then, there has been an uneven but gradual decline overall. In the 1980s and 1990s, mostly in the 20%-30% range, and lower since then: the elections 1997-2019 show 12.9%, 10.8%, 11.9%, 14.2%, 17.2%, 12.5%, and finally 10.2%.

See the direction of travel below:

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Islington_North_(UK_Parliament_constituency)#Election_results

There is every chance that the Conservative vote will slip below 10% —maybe even below 5%— next time. That means that the contest will be between Corbyn (if he stands) and whoever Labour selects to oppose him. Corbyn may well be the front-runner.

As to the LibDems, their vote peaked at 29.9% in 2005, and in the last few elections has been in the 10%-20% range (15.6% in 2019). It may be that they could mount something of a challenge in a 4-horse race. If Con votes joined with LibDem votes, on 2019 figures, that might add up to 25% or so, but it seems unlikely even then, that they could do better than a second place.

A situation to watch.

Mary Creagh

I just saw a comment by one of Mary Creagh’s former Wakefield constituents:

Mary Creagh was our mp, unfortunately. She is the most arrogant, self-important, waste of space. She literally did nothihng for the Wakefield area. Her attitude is appalling, she just could not be bothered with the area. Goodness knows why people voted for her. Islington is welcome to her. Strange isn’t it that she is still blaming someone else for her loss. She lost because she asserted remain when our area had voted leave and still the penny has not dropped for her. Her sense of entltlement is staggering. Watch out Islington!

Mary Creagh had her eyes on things far more important to her than the poor people of Wakefield, namely the interests of Israel and the Jewish lobby, followed by the pro-EU Remain campaign. Her own career and money too, of course…

Seeing TV reportage of Mary Creagh crying in anger and frustration, after the voters of Wakefield binned her, was stellar.

Addendum: saw this comment about Islington Labour voters: “Young professionals who have never lived through a Labour government. Could they cope through another Winter of Discontent with constant strikes, sitting my candlelight with no heating and rubbish piled up in the street?

The “”Winter of Discontent” myth has become as ingrained as the old “holo (you know what)” farrago! I was in the UK (aged 22) during the said winter. There were strikes in some parts of the economy, yes, for a few weeks in some cases. Few people had their electricity supply interrupted; same with heating. As for rubbish piling up, yes, but only in some areas, and for a few weeks. The whole thing was short in duration and limited in effect(s). It was not the Siege of Leningrad. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Winter_of_Discontent.

The “Winter of Discontent” has become one of those things that many think is so, but is only partly so, a bit like the aforesaid “holo” stuff and various other situations (eg that the UK only had basic foodstuffs until about 20 years ago, or that there were large numbers of blacks living in the UK in the 1960s or even 1950s.

You often see people moaning also about how terrible the whole of the 1970s were, with light and heat cut off because of strikes, and similar “facts”. In fact, the “three day week” and the power cuts affected mainly businesses, lasted weeks not months (in late 1973) and few domestic users were even affected. A few, for short periods. Yet you see people, even those who were there at the time spinning nonsense in newspaper comments sections, or on Twitter, about how they spent much of the 1970s without heat, light, or even food!

It does make me wonder about the fallibility of human memory.

Sometimes, non-violent resistance can work, if the regime opposed is not completely brutal and/or deranged; and if the time is right. It worked in the Baltic republics, the DDR and other Soviet satellites in the late 1980s and early 1990s, and indeed in the Russian core of the Soviet Union in the same period, but it would never have worked in, say, 1970s Cambodia.
