Well, this week brings a convincing victory over political journalist John Rentoul; he only managed 1/10, but I trumped that with 6/10. I did not know the answers to questions 3, 4, 7, and 9.
Laura Towler and Sam Melia
I included material on the blog yesterday about Laura Towler and her husband Sam Melia. I am not personally acquainted with them, and am not, as such, a supporter of their organization, Patriotic Alternative, but obviously am, as they are, supportive of European race and culture, and want Europe to have a future worth living. I also support free speech and freedom of expression.
Yesterday, Sam Melia was sentenced to 2 years in prison, a result of his having been convicted of what amounts to political offences. He will therefore probably be in prison for a year (possibly/hopefully a few months less).
I also happened to see this crowdfunder for the couple, who have a young child, with another expected soon.
Suspended sentence for rape on the same day Sam Melia is imprisoned for two years for thoughtcrime. Raped a girl in the castle keep and in her own home. They came as refugees.https://t.co/QVIAjAppIj

Sam Melia. Wrong race, wrong nationality, wrong “crime”…
The Sam Melia case draws a pretty unambiguous line in the sand, on one side of which is freedom and the other “diversity”. To think, an “English” jury could enforce such a vile disgusting criminal abuse of the law…
No doubt Sam Melia’s solicitors and Counsel will be considering whether to appeal, at least on sentence. A tough choice, though, when there is the danger of an increase in sentence in the appellate forum.
This is exactly why I don’t think Russia or anyone else banning the LGBT movement counts as “bigotry” or intolerance. LGBT is an organisational structure for a criminal political agenda. You have a right to defend yourself against it. https://t.co/Dzi9lWey6L

The little Indian money-juggler, Sunak, is going down politically. This time next year, he will probably have relocated to California or Bombay, and/or be another fake “lord” in the now-ludicrous House of “Lords”.
While it is true that a huge “Labour” majority would merely increase the repression on social-nationalism, at least there would be no nonsense about social national people having to play the “electoral” (rigged) game.
The faked pseudo-democratic “two main parties” game has to be brought down. If the Conservative Party can be almost wiped out at GE 2024, that party, half of the “two party” scam, may never recover. That in turn will lead to a vacuum which may then be filled by something new.

As for Sajid Javid, his brief political career is now at an end, unless he becomes yet another “plastic peer”. A near-loonie, who once praised the “antifa” thugs; also an acolyte of the Jewish “philosopher of selfishness”, “Ayn Rand” (Alisa Zinovyevna Rosenbaum), and so pro-Israel and pro-Jewish lobby that he even spent his honeymoon in Israel. An ex-Muslim apostate, who thinks that the UK’s multikulti society is a “success” only because he happens to have made plenty of money here.

“A year in prison for stickers that told simple truths is as disgusting as it was expected.
Sam Melia was foolish to run with an obvious honeytrap group, and to be caught flirting with deeply demonised ideas, but that doesn’t alter the gross injustice of locking up a young father for purely peaceful dissidence, in order to intimidate other indigenous Brits into silence about our ongoing marginalisation and dispossession.
By refusing to allow peaceful and constructive expression of these issues, the UK state is pushing angry individuals towards a much less benign way of expressing their fears and frustration.
They were meant to learn from the Troubles in Northern Ireland, not repeat on the mainland the sort of injustice and repression that helped create them. #freespeech.”
The scale of Galloway’s win indicates he may well have taken the seat even without Azhar Ali’s suspension. In addition Reform are currently struggling to leverage their national poll lead into hard votes. Both of them will harden the view of many Tory MPs Sunak needs to go early.
George Galloway received 39.7% of the vote at Rochdale. The combined vote of the next three candidates (Independent David Tully, Labour Party, and Conservative Party) totalled only 41%: see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2024_Rochdale_by-election#Results.
The combined vote of the Labour and Conservative candidates was a mere 19.7%.
When Dan Hodges talks about Sunak “going early“, he is not referring to resignation but to Sunak calling an early General Election 2024. I had thought September or October, but it now looks as if June or July are possible months.
I just looked on the Electoral Calculus website [https://www.electoralcalculus.co.uk/userpoll.html]. On present opinion polling, the Conservative Party might end up with as few as 43 MPs. Happy day, though equally I hate the idea of the Labour Party “elected dictatorship” that would inevitably result, and which might make Blair’s regime seem mild.

If those idiots attack Russia, there will be a direct response. “Three in ten troops from across the Armed Forces are not fully fit for combat, official figures have revealed.“
[Daily Mail]
The MOD still claims that up to 50,000 Army people are fit for actual combat. Others say that 30,000 is a more realistic figure; some say as few as 20,000. Are they seriously suggesting taking on Russia, China and others simultaneously with that puny and probably ineffective force?
“A former leader of the Shin Bet domestic security force has said Israel will not have security until Palestinians have their own state, and Israeli authorities should release Marwan Barghouti, jailed leader of the second intifada, to direct negotiations to create one.
Ami Ayalon, a retired admiral who also commanded Israel’s navy and was wounded in battle and decorated for his service, also said destroying Hamas was not a realistic military goal, and the current operation in Gaza risked entrenching support for the group.
He came relatively late to his current views, after leaving the military where the enemy is just a target to be killed, he said. His position at Shin Bet required him to regularly meet Palestinians, including visiting PLO leader Yasser Arafat.
He made Palestinian friends, among them PA security chief Jibril Rajoub and Sari Nusseibeh, a philosophy professor from Jerusalem who can trace his family’s presence there back to the 7th century. “So can I tell him, OK, this land is mine and you are a visitor here? It is nonsense.”

The above idiot-tweeter either has not considered the fact that literally hundreds of millions might have (under the present outdated rules) a “well-founded” or “valid” claim to remain in the UK once here… or does not care.
Not hyperbole. Fact. Hundreds of millions. All they have to do is set foot on UK shores.
Surely even tweeters such as the above (who probably thinks himself very clever) might think twice once a hundred million, or more, invade the UK? Or maybe such bien-pensants prefer not to think what kind of UK is already being created by migration-invasion? Or are such people out-and-out traitors, doing —or wanting to have done— more damage than old-style terrorists or spies could ever do?
Incidentally, and ironically, the above-noted tweeter reposted the tweet below, but seems unable to connect the housing crisis with the mass immigration of the past 20+ years. Not the only factor, I concede, but probably the main one.

The latest “grifter” to have been exposed more widely (he has been mentioned occasionally over the last few years on this blog— “read it here first”…). He thus joins other frauds and thieves such as “Jack Monroe” (Melissa Hadjicostas), “Supertanskiii” (surely the least interesting of the lot, socio-politically— entirely derivative and unoriginal), and others who have found a happy hunting ground or grift-mine on Twitter/X and other online sites.
Don’t you remember? He was as cringe as that Russ in Cheshire. Always fundraising and went by the name as man behaving dadly. Cringe account that’s now been outted as a grifter too.
I had forgotten about “Russ in Cheshire” (who seems in fact to be yet another one actually in or from Essex, unless I am mistaken). Russ-in-Cheshire is on a similar page to the others, but poses mainly as social or political commentator on the fringe of humour, and has written a book about politics or society. He even appeared on at least one TV quiz show (The Chase? Not sure; maybe it was Eggheads, now that I think about it). I think that his team even won some money.
The key to successful UK online “grifting” seems to be to avoid simply begging for money. The more cunning “grifter” pretends to be a kind of charity worker or philanthropic type, raising money for others and giving —what at least is presented as— good advice.
Thus “Bootstrap Cook” and her dog’s dinner “recipes”, “Man Behaving Dadly” and his charity stuff (with rather a lot of the proceeds shaven off for his own shekel-store) and so on. Not forgetting Julia Grace Patterson, with her “NHS champion” grifting, while taking in donations and selling facemasks etc. In her case, the USP is that she is actually a medical doctor (though she only worked as such for a couple of years).
I presume that that other prominent “grifter”, “Supertanskiii”, lacks the ability to produce any tangible output or activity, so restricts herself to swearing at “the Tories”. Amazingly, some people are satisfied with that alone, and are willing to send her money just for that! Utter mugs.
Going through the YouGov MRP data to add some tactical squeezing. If just one third of Lab-LD-Grn voters in England and Wales vote tactically for the strongest party, the result changes to: Con 69 (-100 on MRP) Lab 463 (+78) LD 70 (+22) Nat 28 Grn 1
I predict that tactical voting will play a big part in the 2024 General Election. What will weaken it, though, is that it is clear to more and more people that none of those Lib-Lab-Con System parties is worth a plugged nickel.
Also, there are those who will always vote for one System party rather than another, even when, in that particular constituency, the loyal voter’s own party has never come first, or even second.
Still, I think that, now that even former Conservative Party voters want rid of the Con Party in government, tactical voting for the least-objectionable alternative will be widespread.
That may mean, as the tweet implies, that the utterly unmeritorious LibDems may be able to gather in a pretty considerable number of MPs. I was thinking 30, maybe at peak 45, but the tweet above says 70 (they have 15 at present). If so, remarkable, looking at the untrustworthy rabble that the LibDems are.
You are going to be in for a very big surprise when Labour hardly shifts from the current policies being undertaken.

Washington sent two aircraft carrier groups to the Mediterranean and Red Sea. But their presence will not change the situation in the Middle East and will not impress adversaries, US Marine Corps intelligence officer Scott Ritter said in an interview with the Judging Freedom YouTube channel.
In his opinion, the forces that the Pentagon is deploying in the region will not be able to have a significant impact on the brewing hostilities. They will not be able to intimidate Iran, Hezbollah, or even the militants who are launching attacks on American bases in Iraq and Syria.
“This is just posturing. In this way, the United States is trying to create the appearance of activity, while behind the scenes it is desperately trying to get Israel to defuse the situation and not invade the Gaza Strip,” Ritter explained.”

While I doubt that Aaron Bastani, Ash Sarkar etc are themselves proponents of a “free society” anyway, the fact is that an editor, a Jew at that, has been dismissed for noting the callousness of (I presume, not having read the material) Israel and the Jews and others outside Israel who regard the victims of the attack on the Gaza “Ghetto” as “collateral damage”, in some cases expressly.
You see that attitude in tweets by some of the unpleasant Jews in the UK prolific on Twitter/X.
The editor in question lives and works in the USA, with its supposed regard for “free speech”. However, as I have blogged in the past, while that U.S. Constitutional protection may save someone from being arrested and/or prosecuted, it does not save someone from being dismissed from a job, or removed from a profession (perhaps), and so (in a finance-capitalist society) possibly losing his place of abode, quite possibly also his family life etc.
Needless to say, the mainstream media, publishing etc are completely owned or controlled by Jews in the USA (and UK, for that matter), and even where not, strongly influenced by Jew-Zionism.

That “@blackwolfski” tweeter is just so typical of those who have a whole fake worldview of “woke”-ism. Akin to wearing a jacket of msm lies: supports “Jack Monroe”, Jacinda Ardern, Labour Party drones etc, and is entirely impervious to any “unapproved” truths. Note the faux-serenity and faux-“concern” of his (fake, “passive-aggressive”) good wishes to tweeter “@scbusiness4”.
That allowed a kitten to die in agony. That took thousands of pounds from people and spent it on furniture. That's taken thousands of pounds on patreon and fulfilled none of the rewards. That promised to sue a Tory, though she's funded and promoted by conservatives..

Disabled kitten. Vets said to PTS. Jack said no. Made monetised videos about the kitten instead. Locked it in a bathroom on its own. Further monetised videos. Kitten died, likely in pain from it's disabilities, Jack plays distraught after cashing in on kittens pain. Abhorrent

Hard to judge to what extent that was so but, if accurate, it sounds like very bad behaviour (to say the least).
Always the way. One rule for them and one rule for everyone else. The irony that none of us are calling Jack names like this, just wanting answers while he abuses a wide range of people.
Tweeter “@jimellis123” is another very typical “Jack Monroe” supporter-type: the man of 50+ or 60+, retired or unemployed (as it seems), not seemingly poor or “struggling” (except possibly with mental “issues”); socio-politically— narrow-minded. Also, the “passive-aggressive” smugness, as seen in the tweet below:

Awfully Molly has left us with a gift of an archived resource – her excellent investigation into the incredible Jack Monroe scam that if I hadn't seen it unfold myself, would have thought was a crime drama: https://t.co/W5qJ6zYm8Q
Will be sad to see you go, SM can be trying tho. As you pointed out many times, she was being damned by her own words, the contradictions & lies. No doubt she'll be crowing about this but the curtain has been pulled back now, everyone can see the truth of the matter. Thank you
Jack, you don't have a stance. You have grifts. Constantly playing the victim to an army of imbeciles that keeps you in a more than comfortable lifestyle. Not knocking you for it, a fool & their money are easily parted. But the gigs near up now.
Do you agree that people should be manipulated out of their hard earned money or state benefits by someone who doesn’t need the money? Someone who admits to buying whiskey and sideboards then laughs at us all for being gullible?

No one drove the Jews out of their homes 2,000 yrs ago. Very few Jews were expelled by Rome. Jews lived there for centuries after Rome. The Mishna was written there. Jews moved to Rome, Athens, Alexandria, elsewhere voluntarily for centuries. Expulsion is a myth. https://t.co/LMHlvfMLeI
The Labour candidate, a woman who seems to have been a housewife/homemaker previously, as well as (from 2011) a councillor and (from 2015) leader of Cheshire West and Chester Council, scored 61.2%, Labour’s best-ever result in the constituency. The fact that she was brought up in, and has lived in, the area since the age of 4 cannot have hurt her campaign.
Conversely, the Conservative candidate did very badly, scoring 22.4%; the previous worst Con result was in 2001 (33.1%).
The LibDem, on 8.4%, was the only other candidate to retain his deposit. Their best result in a decade, but underwhelming when compared to where the LibDems were prior to the 2010-2015 “Con Coalition”.
Of the others, the only ones worth noting are the Greens (2.8%) and the new Farage vehicle, Reform UK (2.7%). The other four candidates scored 1% or below.
Thoughts? A very good result for Labour, despite it having been in a by-election. Labour’s previous best was 56.8% in 2017, which had been ahead of all other results, even that of 1997.
The voters are getting very tired of the Conservative Party, and even if they may not consider that Labour will do much if at all better on a number of issues, that alone cannot save Sunak and the Con Party.
Not much else to be said, except that Farage is proven once again a busted flush; his Reform UK party is not likely to get anywhere. Britain needs a real social-national party.
Finally, what did strike me was the low turnout— 41.2%, by far the lowest ever, though of course this was only a by-election. The previous-lowest turnout was in the General Election of 2001 (63.8%).
The low turnout might well indicate apathy, or apathy vis a vis the present political and voting system; it may also indicate anger and frustration, and a view that the present system cannot solve Britain’s problems.
Whatever the truth of that, the fact remains that 58.8% of eligible voters did not vote. How many were disaffected former Con voters unwilling to vote Labour or even LibDem? We do not know, but the fact is that 6,335 people voted Con at this by-election, compared with 20,918 in 2019 (when the turnout was 71.7%).
Britain has a basically binary political system. That only about 10% of eligible voters here cast a vote for the governing party must ring alarm bells at CCHQ.
[Note: incidentally, since writing the above, a few hours ago, I see that journalists and others are tweeting that the result was “the worst result for the Conservatives since 1832“. Not right.
The Conservative Party did not really exist back then, and the party referred to were the Whigs, some of whom morphed into what —much later— became the Liberal Unionist Party and then part of the Conservative and Unionist Party. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Whigs_(British_political_party).
The 1832 General Election now being referred to by journalists was one where there were three candidates in City of Chester, but two of those candidates were both Whigs —but with differing views— and the losing one, who came third, was the one now being called a “Conservative”.
In any case, that was a different world].
World Cup
I take no interest in the World Cup and similar circuses for the deluded masses, but have just now noticed that the “German” team is composed only half of Europeans (i.e. white players) let alone “Germans” (even if they may have a few bits of paper describing them as “German”).
I do not really want the photo on the blog, but I suppose that I have to make the point:
I suppose that the “England” team is now similar. What a farce.

Why are we being left to do this, the police are paid to keep our roads running clear of protestors. It's time they started pulling their weight and not forcing the public to do their jobs for them 🙄
Labour won the Chester by election with an 11% swing from the tories. But it was a 41% turnout. 6 in 10 people weren't interested in voting. I would've been one of them, nobody here represents me and mine. Our democracy is dying.
Short memory, it's certainly not as bad as the 'Winter of discontent' under Labour. At that time, bodies were stacked up in mortuaries, uncollected rubbish strewn along streets and essential services on the verge of collapse or on strike.
I never cease to be amazed at the ignorant comments made about the 1970s in the UK. The “Winter of Discontent” lasted for a couple of months in 1978-79, only really badly affected a few geographic areas, and even fewer urban areas had “bodies stacked up” etc, and not for long.
You also see people insistent that there were long periods of the 1970s with electrical blackouts etc. In fact, most areas did not have blackouts at all, even in the “three day week” period of late 1973.
The whole thing has been blown up into this fable in which a whole decade consisted of blackouts, nothing working, rubbish and corpses unburied or unburned, and a “three day week” which (according to the fable) lasted for years, rather than the few weeks it actually lasted.
What is actually alarming about some of those assertions is that they are made even by some people who were actually there at the time (as I was, incidentally: aged 17 in late 1973, and 22 in the winter of 1978-79). The fallibility of human memory is astounding at times; I notice it because I have always had an exceptional memory.
Good news: that ridiculous little monkey, Sajid Javid, the Israel-loving Muslim apostate and Ayn Rand devotee, is leaving political life.

“We should never have complied with tyranny.” They all said with one voice, muffled under the symbols of total compliance still strapped to their faces.
I wrote the following assessment of “deadhead MP” Matt Hancock over three years ago, long before he betrayed his constituents by accepting £400,000 to go on the so-called “reality” (i.e. unreality) show I’m A Celebrity— Get Me Out of Here:
“The leadership of that Church, always the first to surrender to the spirit of the age, has even advised vicars to avoid having carol services on the Sunday before Christmas in case they clash with some football tournament now raging in the Middle East.
A document called Making The Most Of The World Cup Final 18th December 2022, says: ‘Churches often hold carol services in the afternoon or evening, and this could still be possible if you choose the time carefully… but what if there are penalties?! It may be best to avoid that day altogether and host a carol service on Saturday 17 instead.’
And the grotesque Nativity play, called Greatest Of All Time, is one of ‘just a few ideas for how you could use the World Cup as a missional tool this Advent and Christmas’. I am not making this up.”
[Peter Hitchens, in the Mail on Sunday]
Pathetic bastards. They, and the Vicar of Dibley types (and/or the slab-faced lesbian “priestesses”) now found everywhere should each be issued with a toothbrush and a section of pavement to clean, as a penance.
Incidentally, the Mail is now “allowing” comments on Hitchens’ column, albeit “moderated” (monitored and censored), for the first time. Perhaps the “Overton Window” is moving a little…
The Guardians
I have continued to watch The Guardians, for the first time since it was shown in 1971. Worth seeing. It should be put on again, perhaps on some nostalgia channel such as Talking Pictures TV:
To my mind, the series was better in its first half-dozen episodes; the final two episodes (12 and 13) are a little too talky, a little contrived too, and the ending was not so plausible, but overall the series was quite creditable, if very much of its time.
As with so many attention-seekers, “leaving Twitter” turned out to be a brief respite. As Basil Fawlty once said, “blink, and you’d miss it…as you did“.
Yeah, that really didn't work out will for her did it?
It confirmed that she really isn't a "chef", instead she just mixes ingredients together to form a slop. Matt Tebbut had to guide her on everything.
Yes totally agree someone needs to have strength of character to look into this @BootstrapCook blocked me yesterday and as you can see by my feed I have never done anything than ask questions and found her behaviour suspicious @joelycett she appears to be ripping of the poorest
Tricksters, whether in the field of “poverty porn” or Parliament, are destroying public confidence in what the people see and hear. Corrosive of trust generally.
I follow the topic and it therefore shows in my feed when Twitter pads it out with suggested content. And a lot of people are upset with a lack of transparency regarding funds raised and non delivery of promises and have been for years. It’s an interesting topic
Since I assessed Jack Monroe/Bootstrap Cook on the blog nearly 2 months ago, I have watched the debate about her unfold (it started in late July).
One thing that occurred to me, looking at some Twitter accounts, is that (in my opinion) several of those accounts supporting her fervently are, in fact “Jack Monroe” herself. That is purely my opinion, though based on a number of factors. The impression given is that, while many tweeters are critical of Jack Monroe, others, of various kinds, support her. Somehow, much of it does not ring true, though I concede that that is my opinion, and not something that I can call established fact.
Vimes index doesn’t exist. ONS have confirmed she had nothing to do with that.
Fantastic next instalment in the forensic, evidence laden exposé of TEN YEARS of faux poverty grifting by Jack Monroe. Safe yo say @AwfullyMolly is doing a great job – and the repeated attempts to hack her site suggests to me that she's right on target: https://t.co/tt8GSN5caT
I am puzzled why people should decide that, out of all the “good causes” out there, the one that they want to support —to the tune of anywhere between £3.50 and £44 a month each— is a young woman whose parents are apparently rather affluent, who already has several sources of income, and who is hugely better-off financially than millions of people in this country.
All that Jewish-lobby puppet and Pakistani Muslim apostate Sajid Javid wants is more power for the State, to repress the views of social-nationalism. A horrible little NWO/ZOG drone.
Neither does the corrupt Jew-Zionist dictator Zelensky. Almost funny: I saw a tweet from one of his American supporters applauding the fact that the Kiev-regime government “is 80% Jewish“.
Because you can’t defend your children against government thugs coming to inject them with poison by sprinkling them with herbs. https://t.co/SyHiZC0ExV
There is truth in both points of view. Even accepting that defence is or will be necessary, a few small arms will not be very effective defence against a modern state armed with jets, helicopters, drones, tanks, armoured cars etc, not to mention large numbers of trained soldiers and police.

Ha ha. Just imagine future historians trying to work out why the Jewess Monica Lewinsky had 1.2M Twitter “followers” in 2022, when basically all she is known for is sucking her employer’s **** a few times, 40 years ago. Society is just mad, now, and that is nowhere more obvious, usually, than in the USA.
It's amazing that they don't understand this. They really believed their false sense of importance, only propped up by rigged algorithms.
At this point anyone still saying things like "I don't know why rightwing culture warriors don't want to be nice to people" is ether being deliberately dishonest or just not paying attention.
Incidentally this is why Oriel, Oxford were right to keep Rhodes. You give these people an inch, they take a mile. Nothing will ever be enough until their anti-European resentments leave us in a blasted wasteland. https://t.co/U99LgmyNXv
The enemies of civilization will do anything to stop it being known or accepted that almost everything worthwhile in the world today comes from the European or, more accurately, the Aryan and post-Aryan.
Arguing or “debating” with the enemies of our culture and civilization is a waste of time. We are not in a debate but in a war, albeit a slow-burn race-culture war.
Still, a hosepipe ban in London is unlikely in the immediate future
While most would agree that London is in a climate drought — just look at the yellow grass — it would take critically low reservoir levels before measures like that were implemented https://t.co/9ZoRfAdZbWpic.twitter.com/dTPcWlune6
Where is the strategic direction from government? It is hard to think of a more basic function of government in the modern era than the supply of plentiful and clean water. Of all necessities, water supply is the most basic.
Measures that should be taken in the UK (southern England, really) include water-retention projects in upland areas, new dams and reservoirs, and construction of desalination plants for emergency use (Israel has some of the best technology for that; worth looking at).
Other measures would include those to minimize leaks. London may be losing a quarter of the water available and piped by reason of leaks.
Also, the UK population has increased by many millions in the past half-century. Stop importing unwanted people.
Cape Town nearly ran out of water 2015-2018, partly by reason of low rainfall, but also because (quelle surprise) African government has proven incapable of planning ahead: see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cape_Town_water_crisis.
Cape Town was saved partly by severe restrictions on use, but mainly because the rains started to arrive again from 2018. Los Angeles was in difficulties too over the past decade, but again was saved mainly by renewed rainfall.
In principle, I think that water, at least for domestic users, should be free or very inexpensive, but the reality is that there is a cost attached to the storage and supply of water (and also to the disposal of waste water). There is a debate to be had as to how to manage those costs.
Factors: abundant surface water, and a relatively small population, which until recent decades was mostly poor. Incidentally, it was not so long ago that most of the Irish population did not pay income tax.
I oppose meters for water, and I oppose the profiteering by the present privatized water companies in the UK. There should be a national water authority and, if water is to be charged for at all, a set amount —the same amount— paid for water (either per person or per household) over a determined period.
Water pressure can be reduced to save water in times of drought, though that is easier in some countries than in others. I recall a friend in New Jersey telling me in about 1991 that he had seen a special episode of This Old House [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/This_Old_House] from London, which included the information that water pressure was 18 pounds per square inch.
My friend said that “to us, that’s a trickle!“. I think that water pressure in the NY/NJ region is nearer to 80 pounds per square inch, so 4x higher than in London, thinking back to that conversation.
I make no excuses for the outrage I express in this film. It shouldn’t be left to me to say these things. @UKLabour need to condemn what Sunak said last night immediately https://t.co/WSRj3Uwqf9
Mostly right, though not mentioning the huge —and possibly irreparable— damage done to the UK economy by the ridiculous “panicdemic” measures of 2020-2022, particularly the “lockdown” shutdown(s).
How low has the UK sunk, that it could even contemplate having a Indian as its Prime Minister?

This is the sort of thing, or one type of thing, that happens when you mix up capitalist enterprise (economic zone or sphere) with the zone or sphere of social rights, politics etc. In the Threefold Social Order proposed by Rudolf Steiner, those zones or spheres (and the spiritual/cultural/etc zone or sphere) should not be confused. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Social_threefolding.
Bulb Energy was originally a mixture of economic enterprise and social do-gooding to do with “reducing emissions” and similar nonsense.
Other examples of “social entrepreneurship” have abounded in the Britain of the past 20 years. A swamp of fraud, chicanery and chaotic mismanagement. One of the worst types of the phenomenon has been the “social entrepreneur” company that presents itself as quasi-charitable but makes millions for its major shareholders out of public funds.
The maladministration and incompetence of Iain Dunce Duncan Smith at the DWP from 2010-2015 allowed dozens if not hundreds of such organizations to flourish. There were and maybe still are many examples, funded by not only the DWP but also other parts of government. I am not even sure that “Kids’ Company” was the worst: see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kids_Company.
Another one, the name of which escapes me for the moment, made millions for its controllers out of DWP funds; one of those ridiculous outsourcing companies finding “make-work” non-jobs for the unemployed and disabled.
The fat young woman who owned it with her husband (fortunately for them, their names also escape me right now) was on BBC Daily Politics and other TV shows between 2010-2015, talking about how good it all was. Only Andrew Neil was sharp enough to (obliquely) question the amount said woman was making (out of the taxpayers). She and her husband bought a large country house in Derbyshire before that particular house of cards collapsed. They made millions upon millions, were never prosecuted for what I consider an outright fraud, not to mention exploitation of desperate people, and still live in luxury today, I believe.

OK, but from another perspective, those Ukrainian civilians are not being treated at all brutally, no more than would be a protest crowd in London; arguably, far less brutally. Russian weaponry may incite fear, but the soldiers themselves do not, it seems.
As previously blogged, the Boris-idiot government will make sure that everything wrong in Britain for years to come will be blamed on Russia and Putin. For one thing, all the money wasted on two years of “panicdemic” propaganda and useless, pointless, “measures” (lockdowns, shutdowns, “furlough” payments, billions in fraudulent “loans”, tens of billions on completely useless “test and trace” etc), and consequent inflation caused by erosion of the real value of the pound sterling. Now we read that inflation may top 10% in a year. That is the fault of this government, not Putin’s.

Very interesting, and very true.
Ukraine
A few more thoughts.
As Kiev inhabitants continue to flee, the food stocks in Kiev will last longer than the 2+ weeks predicted by Zelensky. How long they will last, though, is almost anyone’s guess. I presume that the defending forces will have stocks for far longer than the civilian population.
I have been looking at Google Maps and Google Earth to see the layout of Kiev, a city which I have never visited. I see not just the river Dnieper, but other streams, marshes etc. Approach from the northeast and east is difficult. The Dnieper cannot easily be bridged almost immediately south of Kiev because of the width of the river (dammed in several places for hydroelectricity). The same is true immediately north of the city. There is one crossing on the northern outskirts.
There have been isolated missile strikes in Kiev, probably to frighten the population into leaving.
I note a strange fact: despite the Russian forces having done huge damage to some of the Ukrainian cities, there has been no attack on Russian cities (except in the disputed Donbass area) by Ukrainian/Kiev-regime forces.
To me, that indicates either that the Kiev regime simply has no forces capable of attacking the small Russian towns near the border (Donetsk, a major city, is right on the border of Russia but on the notionally “Ukrainian” side), or that Zelensky is trying to maintain the “victim” narrative, i.e. that Russian forces are attacking civilians, but that the Ukrainian forces are not (except in Donetsk and the Donbass generally).
In colloquial terms, Zelensky has “played a blinder” in terms of international public relations. He is perceived now, in much of the West, not as a Jew clown, and as the figurehead puppet-on-a-stick of an ultra-wealthy and corrupt Jewish cabal, and with a $40,000,000 home in Florida (and God knows how much in offshore bank accounts), but as the brave Tribune of the People, a people under merciless attack by a ruthless and powerful enemy.
Ukraine has public relations but (it seems) scarcely any army, navy, or air force.
That tentative conclusion is supported by the fact that no attack was made on the now-famous “40-mile-long” Russian column north of Kiev. Even a defensive fortress-Kiev plan would, surely, allow for attacks on supply columns and the like?
Put simply, that column was not attacked because there was no-one to attack it.
Despite the huge destruction in Kharkov and in the smaller southern cities, I think that Putin wants Kiev to fall without too much damage, if possible. He may even have some idea of repopulating it with Russians, on a permanent basis.
Having said that, my assessment has been and remains that, if Putin can only “win” by flattening every city in Ukraine, he will do it.
Largely a result of the 30+ years of poverty and its consequences, under a succession of Jewish-Zionist-dominated cabal “governments”.
In the circumstances, £350 a month to house some refugees seems a modest-enough amount as “danger money”…
100,000 people register to take in refugees from Ukraine, yet no one has registered to house our homeless, because there is no register, and no Hotel rooms are available for our homeless because they didn’t enter our shores illegally, or is their another reason🤷🏻♂️
Went to a small town today. Saw a few very elderly (even by my standards!) people still wearing facemasks, poor old things. They obviously not only believed all the propaganda but also have not realized that the world has moved on…
Wise words, the voice of brief but bitter experience. When I was in Southern Africa (Rhodesia and Botswana) for a while in 1977, I met a number of people with varied military experience around the world: British ex-Marines and Paras, American ex-U.S. Rangers, ex-U.S. Marines and others, the odd New Zealander, some South Africans, and a Portuguese who had fought against Frelimo in Mozambique; even an Israeli.
I recall one Brit, conventional military provenance unknown but (I think) genuine or real, telling people his experiences fighting with the notorious “Colonel” Callan (in fact a Greek Cypriot and former Parachute Regiment corporal) in Angola in 1976. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Costas_Georgiou.
According to the said British person, there were wannabee mercenaries from the UK, with no military experience at all, who had been flown to Africa, signed up to the FNLA “army”, given weapons and uniforms, and then pretty much turned out into the field, into battle, fighting experienced African communist/nationalist guerrilla fighters and Cuban Army units.
Apparently, many of the Brit “mercenaries” did not even know enough to get themselves down on the ground when the enemy opened fire! Many were killed not very long after arrival, massacred in contacts with MPLA or Cuban units in the long grass of Southern Africa.
Oddly enough, the Brit telling the story defended “Callan” (plainly a murderous psychopath, who by mid-1976 had been captured, then tried and executed in Loanda), saying that he would get angry because some of the British would-be mercenaries refused to fight.
Whatever the truth of the above, the fact is that many Brits and others are now volunteering for war service with the Kiev regime. Some may have good though misguided motivations, others may scent loot. Those with little battle experience may not last very long.
Incidentally, two of the socialist “international observers” at that trial were Jack Dromey and Stephen Sedley.
The first, then a heavily-bearded and fierce militant, married Harriet Harman six years later and, like her, became an MP and Blairite government minister: see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_Dromey.
Stephen Sedley, a barrister, was later Sir Stephen, and a Lord Justice of Appeal: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stephen_Sedley. I myself appeared in front of him as Counsel a couple of times, when he sat as a judge of the High Court in the 1990s.
Yes, the idiot (Boris-idiot) must go, but there is actually no point in that if all that is going to happen is that he is to be replaced by another NWO/ZOG puppet, whether from the misnamed Conservative Party or the equally-misnamed Labour Party.

Exactly what I have been predicting in recent months. The “vaccine passport” will be conflated with all sorts of other data, from bank accounts, and normal passports, to health data and criminal records etc, and stuck on a microchip. Everyone, pretty much, will be forced to have one. Not forced by law, in most cases, but forced by the impossible inconvenience of not having one. Those rebelling, or dissenting, and refusing the chip, will find that using their banked monies, getting anywhere beyond their local area, buying food, using the NHS, will become all but impossible.

As for Julia Hartley-Brewer, the radio loudmouth, typical “controlled opposition”, just like such as James Delingpole, such as Toby Young, such as that GB TV thing (that I have never actually watched), and the so-called “Free Speech Union” (which never defended my rights of free speech, and which never defends those under attack by the Jew-Zionist element, victims such as Alison Chabloz and many others).
I have written previously about Sajid Javid, a typical NWO/ZOG puppet: of immigrant parentage, ex-Muslim, agnostic, pro-Israel, and a devotee of Ayn Rand (real name A.Z. Rosenbaum, the Jewish “philosopher of selfishness”). Javid is someone without any real cultural or national roots. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ayn_Rand.
Why would a government stop mandatory vaccination of Nurses today, yet be in the process of changing laws to allow for compulsory vaccination? Because the changes in our human rights legislation do just that. Wakey wakey
The idiot presently posing as Prime Minister of the UK is in Ukraine today, making a public relations gesture.
I don’t suppose that it will happen, but wouldn’t it be great if the Russians were to invade today?! Especially if Johnson’s last photo-opportunity were to be upstaged by a Russian T-72 tank, rolling over that clown as he cracks his last joke or spouts his last bullshit…
I have already blogged about Johnson’s absurd attempt to copy both Churchill and Mrs. Thatcher, and so create a mirage “Falklands Factor”. This is quintessential “Boris”, a smoke-and-mirrors gesture accomplishing nothing.
Putin’s putdown of the Downing Street clown was classic: refusing to waste time on “Boris” by scheduling another call after the first one never happened. “Close the door on your way out”…
On a more serious level of speculation, looking again at a map of the region, it occurs to me that Putin could go a bit further than I previously speculated.
[Daily Mail speculation]
I see that the Daily Mail‘s “experts” have concurred with my view expressed recently, that Russia might decide that the right strategy is to seize Eastern Ukraine (Ukraine east of the Dnieper river), as well as the Kiev area, but leave the more hostile Western Ukraine until it can be secured by a puppet, or at least pro-Russian, new government in Kiev.
I now go beyond that to wonder whether Russia might not also take Odessa (on that map, “Odesa“, the Ukrainian spelling).
Odessa is close geographically to the very pro-Russian breakaway “state” or “statelet” of Trans-Dniestria, by Moldova, where Russian forces are stationed, and only 100 miles or so from Crimea, now again part of Russia, and the location of its Black Sea Fleet.
Odessa’s population is nearly one-third Russian.
Were both Kiev and Odessa taken, along with Eastern Ukraine, then Russia would control all but one (Lvov, “Lviv” on the map) of the half-dozen most-populous cities of Ukraine, and its one major port (Odessa). That would leave any rebellious rump-Ukraine centred on Lvov as a weak “state”, and with no way of easily building up military power, or even importing and exporting except by land through Poland or Hungary.

The stunning altar in St Aiden's church at Bamburgh, before which I gave up my prayers today. pic.twitter.com/yPNGKR4XlW
People generally fail to realize the power of prayer; likewise the power of “mere” wishes, let alone that of magic, something entirely different. Indeed, humanity generally has no idea what power the mind, or soul, has.
The current system must go. It is against God and nature. But we must not dance around the flames too enthusiastically. Destruction has its own wild hysteria and it can consume all.
Snap! Myself and husband have become obsessed with logs & kindling 🤣🙈 never in my life would I ever have thought I’d get excited opening a bag of logs! Best purchase of last year we love it! Heats the whole house and if ever need’s could boil water & cook on it 👏 pic.twitter.com/7rKD8EyMrS
The “panicdemic, together with its absurd “laws”, “rules” and “guidance”, has exposed, brutally, the level of psychopathology in large parts of the population. In various ways. Those who fear, not “the virus”, at root, but everything outside their own circle. The obsessive and pointless mask-wearing is one example. Another is the alacrity seen in those suddenly given petty power to tell others to wear a facemask, wear it differently or better, stay x-feet away from other shoppers (or from the said obsessive), and so on.
“The virus” has also exposed what little real respect most people now have for civil liberties, or even logic. So it was that the people —many, perhaps most, of them— accepted the ludicrous “Rule of Six” made up by the part-Jew, part-Levantine chancer and liar posing as Prime Minister.
Doubt about the official narrative has grown, but only slowly, and it may be that the System overplayed its hand, in that the conspiratorial “SAGE” committee (I used to call it “DUMB”— the “Department Under Matt and Boris”) heralded the “Omicron variant” as something likely to kill hundreds of thousands.
Well, now, only weeks after the latest alarmist predictions of the egregious Professor Ferguson and his cohorts, we see that “Omicron” is killing almost no-one, despite the frenzied testing and consequent announcement of millions of “cases”.
The public is waking up, though seems to have little real anger about having been played for two years. The System has spun it as “the measures taken mean that —if we keep “vaccinating”— we can live with Covid“. That spin or gloss pats on the back SAGE, the No.10 chancer, the government as a whole, and the poor saps otherwise known as The Great British Public…
Thus the Government (weakly opposed by the “we can run workhouses better” fake Opposition) can remove the various restrictions without having to admit to having got it wrong for 2 years, and without having to impliedly admit that the “panicdemic” was also —largely, not entirely— a “scamdemic”, and the measures taken for other reasons.
Seems that the latest news is that canvassers for the Conservative Party have been met with “a wall of disapproval” never previously encountered. That may mean a very low turnout as people “vote with their feet”. They cannot vote for any credible alternative because they have been denied that option.
The System parties have decided that, as with the Jo Cox assassination, the David Amess incident must be marked by the voters being denied a proper choice at the by-election, leaving standing only the “Conservative” Party candidate and a ragbag of small and/or joke parties and independents.
It will be interesting to see what proportion of the vote will go to Steve Laws (UKIP), who is somewhat known, by reason of his monitoring of, and tweeting about, the cross-Channel migration-invasion. He seems to be the front runner after the “Conservative” woman, though Catherine Blaiklock (English Democrats) may get quite a few votes.
I doubt whether Jayda Fransen (standing as Independent) will do well, but perhaps the Southend West voters will confound me.
Southend is not an area I know. I have been there, though only for an hour or so, and long ago, in 1977 or 1978.
I had returned from a youthful misadventure in Rhodesia, aged 20-21, and had signed up for a temporary job doing various kinds of casual work. One such, for a few days, was travelling around London delivering booze to various places as the driver’s mate, hauling crates around.
I remember that one destination was Pentonville Prison (for the guards), a cavalry barracks in Hounslow (the Sergeant’s Mess), and a bingo hall in some concrete town in Essex (Basildon? I forget now). Also, to what was either the Conservative Club, or the Naval and Military Club, Southend-on-Sea.
I remember that the Club to which we delivered was on a kind of bluff or clifftop overlooking the sea. There was a greensward between the Club and the clifftop. A tree growing there too (a monkeypuzzle tree? Or is that my memory inventing something?).
The sun was just setting over the sea, and that, together with the Union Jack on a flagpole, rendered the scene somehow elegiac. The Evening Hymn and Last Post might have been fitting.
Looking now at Google Maps and Google Earth, I think that that club was “Naval and Military” rather than “Conservative”. The latter seems to have been in a less pleasant setting in the middle of the town, and to have closed permanently a few years ago, a function of the declining membership of the Conservative Party: https://www.echo-news.co.uk/news/16385600.southend-conservative-club-close-doors-final-time/.
I remember the day mentioned partly because, having launched a crate of Scotch down a wooden chute to the cellar from the street, it had unfortunately slid down far too fast, and right into the gammy leg of the steward, who let out a few oaths that were certainly blue, and possibly naval, though not necessarily Conservative.
Thanks to the incredible resources now available via Google, Google Earth etc, I have just tracked down the place: Naval and Military Club, 20 Royal Terrace, Southend-on-Sea.
[Naval and Military Club, Southend-on-Sea]
Still going, it seems.
I have just been looking at some photos of Southend. Not terribly pleasant-looking overall. In a way surprising that it is a Conservative Party stronghold.
In fact, that seems not as clearcut as the election results for Southend West and other other local constituency (Rochford and Southend East) would suggest. Quite a high level of poverty, and the Southend local council is a non-Conservative minority-coalition administration, with little more than a third of all councillors Conservatives (20 out of 51).
The well-known anti-poverty campaigner and creator of recipes made on a shoestring, “Jack” Monroe, aka “the Bootstrap Cook”, is from Southend: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jack_Monroe.
I notice that the local newspaper report on the closure of the Conservative Club in 2018 reported that Southend “is not safe at night“…
…but the death rate will be far higher in the next few years, because the NHS has almost stopped treating people with non-Covid conditions, particularly those whose pathologies are at earlier stages.
Still clapping??
BBC “News”
This morning, watched, for the first time in a while, a whole half-hour of BBC TV news. Of the 30 minutes, about 20 mins was given over to the idiot posing as Prime Minister, and as to whether he broke his own ludicrous “Covid” “rules” or “laws”. Then we had 5 minutes about Ukraine and the possibility of invasion by Russian forces. A strange disproportion, to my mind: 20 mins about the idiot at Downing Street, and his cake and wine, but only 5 mins about the possibility (I would think probability) of (more) war in Ukraine.
The remaining 5 mins was mostly the weather report and forecast, the most accurate part of the whole broadcast.
The bit about Ukraine was mostly devoted to someone called James Nixey, an expert from the Chatham House think tank formerly (and surely better-) called the Royal Institute of International Affairs [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chatham_House].
I have little quarrel with what the said Nixey had to say, though it did not tell me anything that I did not already know (but then the news broadcasts are supposedly for the population as a whole).
If true, it is one of the (very few) things “Boris” has done of which I approve wholeheartedly. Why lie about it? I would rather those innocent animals be rescued than many of the Afghans, some of whom hate us or despise us, and none of whom will ever be anything but a nuisance to us (at best). If “Madame Boris” (Carrie Johnson) got him to do it, well, never mind. It is the sort of thing a “first lady” should do— exercise compassionate influence.
Ukraine: Biden warns Putin of personal sanctions if Russia invades – video https://t.co/wAfiUtbN4Y
Personal sanctions may be inconvenient to Putin (and those close to him) but they will not change his intent for a second. What is happening now around Ukraine is not the impetuous policy-on-the-hoof of the part-Jews David Cameron-Levita and Nicholas Sarkozy, when they stupidly decided to help the Libyan rebels in 2012. This is a long-considered and carefully worked-out plan by Putin, the Russian General Staff or Stavka, and the intelligence services, especially the GRU.
Putin and others see the Ukraine situation in the light of the 1100 years of conjoined close connection between Russia and Ukraine more than the 30 years of shambolic Ukrainian independence. They see it as a matter of territorial integrity (of the Slavonic heartlands), and also as a matter of existential national survival; they want a dead stop to NATO installing advanced weapons in Ukraine (and Poland, and the Baltic states).
What now? I myself would expect, as blogged recently, there to be an invasion at least of the Eastern part of Ukraine, and probably Kiev area too. I would expect the Spetsnaz forces of the Stavka, perhaps partly undercover, to create chaos in Kiev and some other key cities and non-urban locations first, before tanks roll in. and before the skies are full of descending parachutes.
I doubt that Russian forces plan to occupy anywhere much west of the Dnieper. Putin would rather install a pro-Russian Ukrainian government in Kiev, which would at least try to control the western part of Ukraine, while allowing the eastern part to exercise (pro-Russian) near-autonomy.
The Biden Administration is ready to go to war with Russia to save Ukraine’s corrupt so-called “democracy” while destroying our own democracy here at home.
US and NATO discussing deployment of more troops to Eastern Europe prior to any Russian invasion of Ukraine? If anything, NATO is going to provoke a preemptive strike by Russia. 😨 😟 😱 Although that might be the idea. This is utter madness. pic.twitter.com/e2LAXQKEU0
Russia gains little or nothing by delay. Every day that passes now makes a potential invasion or “incursion” slightly more difficult for Russian forces.
The Soviet Union always had awesome capabilities for swift mass deployment of forces (eg in Afghanistan), especially by air, and Russia’s newly-upgraded forces still have that, as far as I can see. The main reason that Russia did not simply invade a week or more ago was probably that Putin needed to “condition” the European states and the USA to the idea of Russian incursion, so as to obviate a sudden “Cuban Missile Crisis” situation developing.
Now, Putin can be sure that all that the NATO core states (really just USA and UK) will do is to impose blah-blah “sanctions” on Russia and its leaders. No attempt at direct military parrying. Biden has said as much. As for “Boris”, he is just a spectator, really.
Putin would probably prefer to “win without war”, in the famous phrase of Sun-Tzu, but it seems doubtful that the Kiev government will give him what he wants (though the Kiev leaders do seem to be disenchanted with the USA’s lukewarm support, so there is a slight possibility).
As said previously, I doubt that Russian forces would invade, or need to invade, more than a few miles west of Kiev. Mostly in the eastern part of the country, where there are several million ethnic-Russian civilians living.
Also, Russia will try to work psychologically on the Ukrainian population, mainly in Kiev and east of the Dnieper. Anxiety, maybe panic etc. If unexpected sabotage etc takes place, the countdown has begun.
I would expect the storm to break, if it does, within a week or so of today.
Just heard on GB news that one economic migrant costs £40k per year, when you think how much a state pension per year is worth (when we finally get it ) around £10k that's 4 pensioners for one migrant, no wonder we have to wait until 67yrs for ours.
