Vysotsky musings
I happened to find an old Vysotsky CD in the car. Playing it as I drove along, I found myself musing on Vysotsky. I was actually unaware, until I looked more closely at his Wikipedia profile, that he was half-Jew: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Vladimir_Vysotsky#Early_life. Surprising, perhaps, in view of his occasional lampooning of Jewish types and/or accents in some of his songs.
When I got slightly involved with the Soviet and Russian milieu in the late 1970s and then 1980s (though only in and/or from the UK; I never went to the Soviet Union, and first visited Moscow only in 1993), it struck me rather unpleasantly what a decadent society had grown up in that part of the world. In particular, the excessive drinking of some Soviet citizens (mainly men) and also the heavy smoking (especially though not exclusively men). Not everywhere, certainly not everyone, but enough to rot the society from within. That, and corrosive cynicism.
Vysotsky was to some extent the personification of all that. That is not to take away from his great talent as a singer-songwriter, but that sort of unhealthy lifestyle was, in my view, a large part of the reason why the Soviet Union collapsed so completely so unexpectedly, just as its semi-toleration of underhand dealings, criminality, and (largely Jewish) underground business activity in the 1970s and 1980s led, in the post-collapse 1990s, to the glitzy tasteless Russia of the (mostly Jewish) “oligarchs” under Yeltsin and, to a lesser extent Putin, and to the gangsterism rampant in the 1990s (though far less so now).
Andropov was probably a highly unpleasant man, and extremely repressive, as well as possibly half-Jew (it is not certain), but I think that he saw the train coming down the tunnel at Soviet society, and decided to stop it. His unexpected death really sounded the death-knell of Sovietism.
I read a Daily Telegraph piece about “middle class” homeless people (i.e. people who had good jobs, decent houses or flats, and then didn’t). The article waxed eloquent about the pressure on social housing etc, but the words “immigration” and “migration” did not appear; not once.
As Hitler said of many during the Weimar Republic period, “they want not only their daily bread but also their daily illusion“…
BREAKING.
A poll by Findoutnow has shown Reform (24%) ahead of Labour (23%) for the first time ever.
Another interesting thing about this poll is that while @Nigel_Farage & Reform are ahead of Labour they’re also more popular than the Tories among the under-65s … https://t.co/0qKp502tEw
While FPTP voting would still be cheating Reform of nearly half of its potential seats under full proportional voting (156), those figures would give Reform about 95 seats, according to Electoral Calculus (Con 219, Lab 207, LibDem 67, Greens 6, SNP 22 etc). Thus Reform would be the “kingmaker”, though even then the Cons would have to agree with another party to get over the 326 line, or even the ~315 practical line.
In fact, as Goodwin implies, the only factor that keeps the Cons even as high as 26% in the polls is the pensioner vote. That may reduce by 2029; we shall see. A result of Reform 26%, Con 24%, Lab 23% would result in a Commons with Lab 195, Con 174, Reform 149. Still unfair and illogical, but on that showing, Labour would be unable to form a government even with LibDem, SNP and Green support, whereas a Con-Reform coalition could, just about.
If Reform, Con, and Lab all got 25% (others as given), then the result would be Lab 245, Con 188, Reform 93, LibDem 69, SNP 22, Greens 6.
I myself tend to think that Reform’s star is waxing, but the others waning, so a result somewhere in the area(s) above is not unlikely, with 3 or even 4 parties having almost equal success.
[“Moskva” swimming pool, Kropotkinskaya, in 1980. At the time (it is no longer in existence) the largest swimming pool in the world, capable of hosting thousands of swimmers. I myself swam there daily when I was in Moscow in 1993 but, at that time, a year before its permanent closure, there were only about a dozen or so swimmers when I would visit (quite early in the morning): https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Moskva_Pool]
Well, this week I scored 5/10, the same as political journalist John Rentoul. I knew the answers to questions 2, 3, 5, 6, and 9. I could not quite bring to mind the answers to questions 1 and 8, and had no idea about questions 4, 7, and 10.
My feeling, with a mere 5 days to go before Election Day, is that, firstly and obviously, the Conservative Party has reached the end of its road.
What does it even pretend to stand for now? It has embraced every sort of “woke” nonsense over the past 14 years, and even tried to hit Reform UK yesterday with the accusation that a Reform UK activist criticized a police car flying a “Pride” (LGBTQXYZ) flag. How is such criticism even controversial? The police should not be flying socially or politically contentious flags.
The Conservative Party has also presided over the migration invasion, trying to manage the influx of millions of non-Europeans (over a million a year now) but never seriously trying to stop it; indeed, encouraging “legal” migration, which is 95% of all migration-invasion. Coudenhove-Kalergi Plan: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kalergi_Plan.
As for living standards, straight down, and set to continue, under Labour plunging ever-lower. That may give social-nationalism an opening quite soon (but there has to be a movement to capture the sentiment).
My view about Reform UK is that many of those who favour it have already voted, via the postal ballot. Most of the rest who are leaning to Reform UK will not be put off by the contrived scandal in Clacton; some may even like the outspoken comments aired on Channel 4.
There is also the point that maybe 20% of eligible voters are either not going to vote, or are still uncertain. Few will vote Con. They —in my opinion— will not, most of them, vote Lab either. So either Reform UK, LibDem, or Green. I should say that Reform UK will get more than the LibDems, maybe more than the LibDems and Greens combined. Even if that only boosts Reform UK’s vote-share by 2 or 3 points, so from ?18% or ?20% to 21% or maybe as high as 24%, that would be mega in terms of the ultimate results.
If, as seems, anything from 5% to 20% of voters are only going to decide in the last days of the campaign, or even on the day, that means that there is still much to play for.

Hopefully, when/if Trump becomes President again, American support for the Kiev regime will be scaled back and maybe stopped altogether. Other NATO states, and other states yet, will then and consequently rethink their pro-“Ukraine” (Kiev regime) stances.
The war will then grind to a halt within, at most, a few weeks. Zelensky and his cabal will flee, or be captured, or killed, and Russia will be able to redraw the map in suitable fashion, ruling the “Russian” part east of the Dnieper and along the coasts of the Sea of Azov and Black Sea, as well as Crimea; the rest of Ukraine can be an independent or autonomous state or territory centred on Lvov, peacefully and unthreateningly ruling its own lands and population. About half of Ukrainian territory as it was pre-2022.
As for Zelensky, if he survives, he and his wife can go to one of his villas in the Americas (Gulf Coast Florida, and/or the Caribbean), or to Israel, there to live off his stolen billions.

In 1989, when the Soviet crew of the Whitbread Round-the-World Race contender, Fazisi, were in the yachting hub of Hamble (Hampshire), I was also there for a couple of days. I was, with my then girlfriend, an Anglo-Russian (the Russian part being from pre-revolutionary White Russian origins), visiting my parents, who lived in Hamble at that time. In fact, they lived in a small private road, Crowsport, built upon in the 1920s, and only a stone’s throw from the marina where the Soviet yacht was being made ready. You could see the tops of the masts of the yachts in the marina from their house.
Having heard about the Soviet yacht (this was about 2 years before the official end of the Soviet Union in 1991), we decided to walk down to see the yacht and maybe say hello to its crew.
The yacht was there, crew aboard, and we started talking to one of the sailors, a handsome blond giant who was very taken with my girlfriend and, in a polite way, said at the end that we (it sounded more like she —not sure that I was included!) would be welcome to visit any time (she didn’t, though).
The crew spoke Russian language only, apparently.
I remember that the blond sailor said that he was from “Novgorod by Moscow“, more or less a suburb, to distinguish it from the large and historic town halfway between Moscow and the then Leningrad.
We were briefly introduced to the captain, who was carrying a rope, and who seemed stressed. He was going ashore, presumably to the marina office or repair sheds. He nodded to us, maybe shook hands (I do not recall), and trudged away.
The article above, written in 2008, mentions “tragedy” during the race, but does not mention the fact that the captain of the Fazisi committed suicide on the journey round the world, hanging himself in a wood in Uruguay: see https://www.latimes.com/archives/la-xpm-1989-10-13-sp-245-story.html.
In the end, the Fazisi, which had been delivered to Heathrow in one main piece (minus masts) in an Aeroflot cargo plane, the largest in the world, then on a road transporter, did not win the ocean race but still put in a creditable performance, including a one-day run of 386 miles which may have been a world record for a monohull.
That was a more hopeful time for Russia and the world. Sovietism had collapsed in all but name, all the chatter was about Russia becoming partner to the West, rather than enemy, and no-one was thinking about nuclear war any more.
This was before the horde of Western carpetbaggers hit Russia in the 1990s, and before the pack of Jew “oligarchs” got their claws into Russia’s money and natural resources during the Yeltsin years.
It was also before it became publicly known, in the 1990s, that the USA had a “secret” game plan to keep Russia down, and the USA as “world’s only superpower”.
Another, and even less-likely, scenario in 1989 was that Ukraine would break away from Russia, and then much later be at war with it. The captain of the Fazisi was himself of Ukrainian origin, judging by his name (Gryshenko).

For once, I can agree with at least some of what Owen Jones has written. Not his pro-“diversity”, pro-immigration stuff, though. Those and other factors have to be included in the reasons why western societies are decaying, declining, and not unlikely to collapse.
“Musicians” seems to be the self-designation of Wagner Group contract soldiers, as I noted recently on the blog. Presumably a reference to Richard Wagner.
How shallow. Immigration is a key factor in dragging down wages, and overwhelming the NHS and other services. It is not a discrete or a side issue unconnected to the others.
The Tories are also heavily distrusted on immigration among key target voting groups (between -53 and -76)

As a voter, you can vote for the misnamed “Conservative” Party, which at times has talked a semi-good game on immigration but done little or nothing to fulfil the big talk talked, or you can vote equally-misnamed “Labour”, which does not even bother to pretend that it would slow (let alone stop, or reverse) mass immigration, but weasels about “managing” it better, meaning automatically allowing most applicants for asylum or visas of various kinds to enter the UK.

“The total collapse and break-up of Vladimir Putin‘s Russia has begun and the West must be prepared to deal with the potentially catastrophic aftermath, a top official in Volodymyr Zelensky’s Government has warned.
Oleksiy Danilov, the secretary of Ukraine’s National Security and Defense Council, said the West must be on high alert, having in the past failed to be ready for the collapse of the Soviet Union.
He said Kyiv [Kiev] believed Russia was about to fall apart in ‘spectacular’ fashion within the next few years.
But he warned that China currently holds the upper hand over the Kremlin’s imminent capitulation. He said if the West allowed China to take territory in Russia, a new grave problem would be created.“
[Daily Mail]
Normally, I would discount anything said by members of the corrupt and dictatorial Jew-Zionist regime in Kiev, but in this case the prediction may be accurate, at least in part.
Russia today has no ideology beyond pro forma Great-Russian shadow nationalism and chauvinism, mixed with a pathetic 1930s/1940s pseudo “anti-Nazi” propaganda campaign (re. Ukraine), which campaign fell flat as soon as it was introduced a year or two ago.
In the past (pre-Russian Civil War, and pre-1917/18), there was Tsarism and the Russian Orthodox Church; in the formulation of Pobedonostsev, “Autocracy, Orthodoxy, Nationality” (Правосла́вие, самодержа́вие, наро́дность).
Later, there was Marxism-Leninism-Stalinism, which from the early 1940s mixed elements of the previous “Holy Russia” into the mix. Post-Bolshevik messianism mixed with geopolitical expansionism and the other bits and pieces.
After 1989, Russia and many of its people signed up to Western materialism and the largely but not entirely (of course) fake “liberal democracy” Schauspiel. That, in its very active phase, lasted for only about a decade. The Russian people soon discovered, like the cat in Breakfast at Tiffany’s, that the “freedom” promised by the semi-Americanism under Yeltsin included some unwelcome “freedoms”, such as the “freedom” to be homeless, jobless, cold, and hungry (though, to be sure, Sovietism itself had produced plenty of most of those, especially before the 1960s).
This lack of overarching ideology is Russia’s primary problem, the one which underpins all the others (e.g. the poor morale of the Russian Army and intelligence services).
Russia has to find an ideology which is both intellectually coherent, and able to inspire the Russian masses emotionally.
Looking at the situation now, Russia has only one indisputable trump card— its strategic nuclear arsenal. In all other respects, Russia has few if any cards to play. So far, its military machine has proven so poor that it has had to be stiffened by the mercenary Wagner Group. As for the SVR and GRU, Stalin would have shot half of them by now. The same goes for much of the senior officer corps.
Russia does seem to be reprising its historical role of the “colossus on legs of straw“. Judging from the outside (I have not been there since 2007, and now have no connection with Russian laws, business, or people), it seems to me to have only limited internal stability, though at the same time little significant political opposition to the present Putin government.
I doubt that there will be a split into separate countries, if only because Russians remain one people (albeit with hundreds of minor nationalities alongside), with one language (ditto), and a shared history. What might happen, and has happened since 1991, is increasing autonomy of various far-flung territories.
Ukraine was always almost one country with Russia. The present war is almost a civil war, which may explain its bitterness, and its sometimes barbaric standards.
In the end, Ukraine will probably be devastated and then repopulated with Russian settlers, at least east of the Dnieper. We shall see.
One thing is for sure: if Putin does not do something to break the static situation that now exists in eastern Ukraine, he will follow the Soviet Union and DDR, and Nikolai II, into history, and sooner than he ever imagined.

I happened to see the YouTube video below: DDR (East Germany) in 1988. I was there in the summer of that year, though in the south of the country, and only for a couple of days. I have blogged before how, though there was no sign of imminent collapse, yet the DDR seemed to be a kind of stage-set of a state rather than a real one. Just impressions here and there.
About 14 months later, in 1989, the whole system collapsed and, in a final irony, the President, Honecker, sought political asylum in Chile, the government of which the DDR had for years called “fascist” etc. I recall having been very amused by that.
Anyone watching such a parade in 1988 would have thought that the display exuded statist stability and permanence. So much for that.
Does our own system in 2023 present even the appearance of stability? I think not. Perhaps the difference is that, in 1988 and 1989, the East German population could look to the West, to —immediately— the wealth and relative freedom of the Bundesrepublik and then, beyond German borders, to the rest of the EC (as the EU then was), and to the Americas.
To what, to where, can our people look for a potentially better life? Nowhere.
Incidentally, here is another DDR ceremony, this one in 1979, utilizing marches that include old German ones and at least one from 1920s Bolshevism (slightly pre-Soviet Union):
The marching steps could also have been seen in both the Second and Third Reich.
I looked today at Amazon. The “Jack Monroe” book Thrifty Kitchen, which bombed on release a couple of months ago, is now no. 26,957 from the top of the bestseller list. This indicates sales of about 160 copies per month at its new reduced price of £8.50 (original price was nearly £20, but that was immediately reduced to £9.99), out of which “Jack Monroe” may be getting between 50p and £1 per copy. New or near-new copies can be had on Amazon for as little as £5.
No wonder that she wants to keep going the Patreon scam, which must still be providing several thousand pounds each month, presumably taxfree as well.
After over a trillion dollars given by global citizens to the #ClimateChange movement, how many rainforests have been replanted? How many rivers have been cleaned of their plastic and rubbish? How many third-world dictators have been forced to give up war and fix the environment?
Another (Chinese?) social control measure. How long before that sort of control arrives in the UK? The police of today, often politically-correct/”woke” automatons, would enforce it— we saw that during the “Covid” “panicdemic” and “scamdemic”.
The similarity between the technocratic authoritarianism of the lockdowns & the anti-car movement is no mere coincidence. ‘The Future of Mobility’, a 2019 government report that championed a ‘behavioural science’ approach to transport policy, was edited by https://t.co/YsbYq6gVi6…
If only that could be a matter of selection, affecting only certain groups.
When blacks say they want to kill all white people, we should believe them. That is not a joke. And how disgusting was that old Jewish lady that was supporting this antiwhite hatred? She was smiling. Every single time!
I propose that both men and women regain our private spaces. As I have been saying for long, the greatest civil rights issue of this century is the right to freedom FROM association. We must be allowed to live without Other/s inserting themselves into our lives by force.
Regardless of the source, the side that maintains abundant, affordable energy will win.

If you have AI, do you really need project managers and middle managers whose main function is organizing and propagating data through the organizational hierarchy?
Most of what one does, in any given occupation, is a waste of time from the point of view of the individual’s own utility or satisfaction.
For example, it is hardly a new idea that, in many ordinary, modest, occupations, one almost works in order to pay out to be able to work.
Leave aside highly-paid professional or other activity and focus on modestly-paid work (let alone minimum-wage activity). The employee, say an office bod, needs to spend out in order to get clothing for the office, say a few suits.
He (or she) needs to pay out for daily travel (which can be very considerable in cost), for luncheon food (even if only a roll and coffee, which might amount to £10 a day in Central London), and for various other things as well.
All so that the employee can work at all. Then there might be occasional or regular socializing, in which said office bod is more or less expected to participate. The resulting remuneration, after tax and “National Insurance” (more tax), is scarcely enough to do more than pay for the costs of having a job, plus food and basic shelter. Maybe not even that.
Likewise, look at someone who wins on a lottery, say £50,000. People say “like a year’s (or two years) pay” within the usual range in the UK. Not so, though. In terms of real pay, even a relatively modest sum such as £50,000 is huge, because most people, after all their taxes, costs, and expenses, have almost nothing left at the end of a month, or even year.
It’s not ‘puritanical’ to say that everyone should have upheld the most fundamental & universal ethical values we have as a society during the last 3 years.
This was not a great mystery that only a few were capable of solving. It was a basic and obvious test of decency.

Regeneration and transformation of land and landscape
Saw again this video, which I posted on the blog last year:
The lady at Bealtaine Cottage in Ireland was, sadly, persuaded by notorious Jew Twitter-troll Ben Gidley, under one of his aliases, to block me on Twitter, some years ago. No matter. I still think her work interesting. #MoralHighGround.
[Incidentally, the Jew Gidley is a lecturer at Birkbeck College in London. His admitted Twitter account is “@bengidley”, but he also runs “@bobfrombrockley” and, in the past, Twitter accounts closed down for trolling and online stalking: “@inthesoupagain” and “antinazisunited”. All accounts replete with Jew-Zionism, and mostly with a fake “socialist” tinge.
I am not the only person to have had problems with the Jew Gidley’s Twitter (and other) behaviour. The well-known journalist and columnist, Peter Hitchens, repeatedly exposed some of Gidley’s activities in his own tweets, though long after I had unmasked the little bastard. Others as well. I blazed the trail, though.
Other Jew trolls tried to defend Gidley by attacking me and others:
Before you double-down on this too hard, look through your new best friend Ian's timeline. His white supremacist stuff even *pinned*… 🙄 pic.twitter.com/tt5Cb1yK7k
As I tweeted some years ago (Jews conspired to have my Twitter account closed down in 2018), Gidley seems to spend most of his time tweeting, mostly via “sock accounts”, in the Jewish and Israeli interest, and most of that tweeting is negative trolling.
If, as seems, Birkbeck College is going to make a number of staff redundant, they could not do better than to start with Gidley, whose jargon-filled “academic” product is completely useless to society anyway].

East Germany, the DDR, was very strange; I have blogged previously about my impressions, gained in a short time (less than 3 days) there, in 1988, and while in car transit from then-socialist Poland to the then West Germany.
“Ostalgie”-Musik
As blogged previously, I find myself rather fascinated by “contrived” societies, societies which have in a sense invented themselves: the DDR, Singapore, Israel etc. It might be said that all societies “invent themselves“, but the phenomenon is more obvious in some as compared to others.

Saw this from Johnny Mercer, the MP for Plymouth Moor View:
Thanks to the Community Security Trust for bringing this to my attention, and doing your bit to look after brilliant Jewish colleagues like @RuthSmeeth
Think before you do things like this. We all have families – and for the record, colleagues get far worse. pic.twitter.com/xvrVgx2AN2
Mercer became a Member of Parliament on the back of his military career, with the obvious implication that he was, is, or considers himself to be, a British patriot or some such: see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Johnny_Mercer_(politician).
I was hoping, some years ago, that Mercer would prove to be an improvement on the all-too-often-seen MPs who put their duty behind their own financial or career benefit.
Unfortunately, as an MP, Mercer has been a big disappointment. First of all, it seems that he is, at least to a large extent, motivated by money. Criticism has been made of his making a considerable sum from commercial and/or “charitable” activities outside his work and position as an MP. His expenses have also been criticized.
Quite apart from the above, Mercer has had the “distinction” of having been sacked as a minister by the two previous Prime Ministers, first by Boris Johnson, and then by Liz Truss, the latter of which triggering a tweet by Mercer’s wife (employed by him on his Parliamentary expenses, incidentally), which tweet described Liz Truss (admittedly not unfairly) as “an imbecile“.
Presumably, Madame Mercer did not like the fact that Mercer (and so she too) thereby lost a ministerial salary of about £71,000 or so, per year (paid on top of MP salary and expenses).
Well, Mercer is now back in Government, as Minister of State for Veterans’ Affairs (the UK now using the American-style term “veteran” for someone who has served, however briefly, in the armed forces).
I daresay that few would call Mercer himself “brilliant“. Ruth Smeeth (now “Baroness” Anderson) has worked for BICOM, the overseas propaganda org supporting the Israeli state and government. She is, and/or has, also been involved with the malicious and basically Jewish “anti-fascist” org called “Hope not Hate”, and (I think) the even less pleasant “UAF” (“United Against Fascism”).
Ruth Smeeth is a member of Labour Friends of Israel, and was a major part of the anti-Corbyn campaign which, as noted previously in this blog, was effectively a Jewish campaign to remove Corbyn as Labour leader, a campaign crowned with success when Corbyn was replaced by Jewish lobby and/or Israel lobby puppet, Keir Starmer.
Ruth Smeeth is well-embedded in the System. Not only now elevated to a well-paid sinecure in the useless House of Lords boondoggle but also appointed, a while ago, as an “Honorary Captain” of the Royal Naval Reserve, an unusual —and, to me, puzzling— appointment.
In applauding the likes of Ruth Smeeth, Johnny Mercer’s stock, which has been falling in my estimation for a few years now, falls to the floor.
When Mercer was elected, I rather liked the idea that he was a bit of a “loose cannon”, as distinct from the usual yes-men in the Commons. I fear however, that he is, also, not much good, as his having been fired by two successive Prime Ministers would seem to indicate (albeit that “Boris”-idiot and Liz Truss were both also useless).
Support for Jew-Zionism and its creatures, however goes too far.
Mercer won his seat from Labour fairly narrowly in 2015, getting 37.6% of votes cast; the constituency was only created in 2010. In 2017, Mercer’s vote-share jumped to 51.9%. The 2019 election saw a further increase, to 60.7%. Driving factors may have been the LibDem collapse (16.9% in 2010, as low as 2% in 2017, and only 5.2% in 2019), the collapse and disappearance of UKIP (21.5% in 2015 but not even standing in Plymouth Moor View in 2019), and Labour’s decline (in 2019, 31.5%).
As to whether Mercer will retain his seat at the next general election, in 2023 or 2024, that is an open question, though it seems quite likely.
Correct. It’s because people like you insisted we institute a communist authoritarian regime for two years to deal with a non-existent crisis. https://t.co/19RkHJkHKA
Once again, much of society runs scared from a condition which is taken care of in almost all cases by a couple of paracetomol tablets and a few days’ rest. Pathetic.
We tend to think (or used to think) that it was very odd that people, only a few hundred years ago, in the 15th and 16th centuries, were hounded and even executed for speaking in favour of a particular theory of cosmology or theology.
We in the West also thought, during the Soviet period, how odd that people in the Soviet Union or its satellites could be imprisoned, or even executed, for not going along with the “reality” imposed by a half-crazy regime.
Well, look now: many European countries imposing quasi-mediaeval laws against “holocaust” “denial” (free historical research and publication) at the instigation of the Jew/Israel lobby, while “Black Lives Matter”, “trans” activist loonies and others try to restrict freedom of expression in the USA, UK and elsewhere. Behind it, or most of it, “them”. (((Them))).
We know what has to be done, but are “not allowed” to express it openly.

Suella Braverman
Looking at the Conservative Party leadership contest, I saw part of an interview with Suella Braverman. Unimpressive. Her knowledge-level is inadequate for the role she wishes to play. Indeed, many have said that she should even never have been appointed Attorney-General (and, with that, granted automatic letters-patent as Queen’s Counsel).
There was a time when any barrister who became an MP could apply to become QC, and be granted it on the nod, which is how otherwise unlikely barristers such as John Mortimer (the Rumpole writer) got the rank. Now no longer so.
Ironic in a way, that it is now more difficult for barristers who are MPs to apply for letters-patent to become “QC” when, for all other barristers, it has never been easier. About 10% of all practising barristers are now “QC”. Devalued, like most other ranks, titles, and honours these days.
Husband is one “Rael Braverman”. Jewish? She herself, though, identifies religiously with Buddhism, not with Judaism or her original Hinduism (mother was a Hindu, father may have been Roman Catholic, having originated in Goa).
Suella Braverman, though, must have been born under a lucky star in that, from being a run-of-the-mill barrister, she is now, only 7 years later, at age 42, in the running (in theory) to be leader of the Conservative Party and Prime Minister.
Drove over a cat, failed to stop, later claimed not to have known. Also showed his lack of empathy by “offering to buy a replacement animal“. What? “A replacement“?! You cannot “replace” a dear animal friend.
“The Hawas family, owners of the cat, did not want to speak in detail about the cat’s death, but a family member told the Daily Mail: “We just want to mourn our cat. We want nothing to do with Tobias Ellwood.” [Guardian].
One aspect of that report made me laugh, albeit bitterly, at the cretinous mindset of a possibly typical Conservative Party voter: “Julie Holland, 61, who lives opposite the former vicarage owned by Stephanie Hawa, also 61, was also not sympathetic to the MP. Holland, who owns a cat called Boris, named after the prime minister, and a dog called Stanley, after Johnson’s father, said: ‘It’s a disgrace. If he had done that to my cat I would have done something about it. But, she added: “I’m still a supporter.”” [Guardian].
“Results of latest Tory leadership knockout at 5PM: Blow for Rishi as bombshell poll finds frontrunner would LOSE to Liz Truss OR Penny Mordaunt in head-to-head ballot of party members – as MPs finish voting to decide who will stay in contest.” [Daily Mail].
Well, guess what? Most rank-and-file Conservative Party members would actually quite like to be led by someone who is English (i.e. white). What a surprise. They do not want a party leader or Prime Minister who is Indian, Pakistani, or African.

The Conservative party leadership contest is a classic example of a rigged “false choice” election. Not one candidate who is really social-national (even slightly), and most candidates Jew or non-white.
“Britain’s top army general has told his troops to prepare to fight and beat Putin’s armies in a European land war, it has emerged tonight.
General Sir Patrick Sanders, who assumed overall command of the British Army this week, warned soldiers ‘we are the generation that must prepare the Army to fight in Europe once again’ as Russia’s invasion of Ukraine rocks global stability.“
[Daily Mail]
One is tempted to wonder whether the General had had a little too much Blackstrap (cognac/port mixture, not the rum of the same name) in the officers’ mess.
Look at the readers’ comments appended to that Daily Mail article. Most are scathing about both the perceived “need” to fight Russia and the actual ability of the UK to do so, bearing in mind that Britain was scarcely able to bomb Libya a decade ago, needing French and Italian assistance.
The British Army is somewhere around 70,000 “soldiers” (at present being reduced from 80,000+ to 72,000, officially, but in reality well under strength). A tenth are women. About three-quarters are rear-echelon forces. That leaves (roughly; I am sure that military buffs will correct me) 15,000-20,000 actual or potential fighting soldiers.
The Russian Army exceeds a million active troops. Yes, some are of poor quality; so are many of those in the British Army! Never more so than today. In the British Army, drunkenness and drug abuse are common (admittedly, the former has been known in the recent and historical past!), and the Army has had to lower its physical-condition entry standards for enlistment.
In reality, any “war with Russia” involving the UK would have the British in a role serving as very junior partners to the massive US forces.
To be frank, the British Army is in no state to take on any opponent at present, unless a very backward black/brown enemy (and that would not happen now anyway for several reasons, including the “lift” capacity of the RAF being very limited).
Armies reflect the societies from which they recruit. Britain is subsumed in decadence at present.
As a matter of fact, that general, busy moving his painted regiments on a painted map of Eastern Europe, seems to be preparing to fight the last war (meaning the 1939-45 war against the German Reich). He talks as if Hiroshima and Nagasaki never happened.
Russian military doctrine approves first-use of at least tactical nuclear weapons in any situation where Russia’s borders face existential peril.
The General’s ten or twenty thousand men (women are not on the front-line) will not last long in any war with Russia. Equally important, the families and homes of those soldiers will have been incinerated long before the soldiers themselves ever see a Russian soldier.
Taking a look back, at the bigger picture, this is all part of a cynical NWO/ZOG ploy, like the wars against Iraq. There is no need at all for the UK (or any Western or Central European state) to fight Russia.
The Soviet Union was an expansionist state, and motivated, however sluggishly since 1945, by an aggressive political doctrine, Marxism-Leninism.
That does not exist today. Russia is a mildly-nationalist traditional state, more or less. It may vaguely want to restore its core Soviet and Imperial-Russian borders (Ukraine, the “Pribaltika“, the Caucasus region, even Kazakhstan etc), but certainly has no interest in invading Europe west of Ukraine or Belarus.
There are now secret circles and cabals in the UK, USA etc which are pushing for war with Russia, using Ukraine (a “state” that has only existed for 30 years as a state, and with which the UK has almost no historical connection or common interests) as a pretext. Mad and bad.
Incidentally, I see that General Sanders is an alumnus of Worth Abbey school in West Sussex. In or about 1982, when the General would still have been at school there, I went with my then girlfriend and her two young children to some Roman Catholic gathering there. We camped in the grounds, just near the Abbey. I myself am not Roman Catholic, but went along for the ride, really. I was there for a dull day or two, and had a swim in the small and dark indoor pool, housed in a separate building.

Interesting. I once knew someone, a former officer, who lived in the Savernake Forest, not very far from Porton Down. He was convinced that the people of Salisbury had been used, en masse, for mood-altering experiments.
Whatever the truth of that, it is at least interesting that the Skrypal case occurred in Salisbury. Was punishment of the double-agent only one motive? Was there another, such as trying to tar Porton Down with suspicion generally?
We are in the midst of a gigantic propaganda campaign, and it is certainly not a Russian one. Idiots of the Piers Morgan type are basically puppets-on-a-stick, saying whatever is required of them by the people who really matter.
Piers Morgan would no doubt disbelieve his own eyes, were Russian nuclear missiles to start landing in his native Essex, and preventing him from taking half a dozen holidays a year in the Maldives, Seychelles etc.
The old Soviet Union was sometimes described as “Upper Volta with rockets”. Well, OK (though that was obvious hyperbole anyway), but the great fact was that those rockets existed. 6,200 still exist, upgraded and mostly ready to launch.
Yes, of Russia’s 6,200 missiles (and nuclear bombs), only some will successfully launch and reach their target areas. Probably half, or maybe fewer, even as few as a quarter. So about 1,500. Of which about a tenth might be aimed at UK targets. Call it 150. 150 nuclear missiles, landing in the UK, each one capable of destroying almost anything within a radius of maybe 10 miles or more. Just one, landing in Westminster, would affect directly as far out as the outer London suburbs. That leaves 149 other such missiles striking elsewhere in the UK: Portsmouth. Southampton. Every large Army base. Every airfield. Every major city and town.
Nein danke, Piers “useful idiot” Morgan.
Seems that some people need to be reminded of a few facts:
#Ukraine has only been an independent state for 31 years;
#Prior to 1991, Ukraine was merely part of the Soviet Union and, before that, of the Russian Empire, stretching back for hundreds of years;
#Ukraine is a corrupt and shambolic state run by a profoundly undemocratic Jewish cabal;
#The UK has no alliance with Ukraine, no military treaty, and no obligation under international law to funnel arms to its illegitimate rulers;
If Putin banned 11 opposition parties under the pretext of war, just as Zelensky has done today, Western media would be likening it to a Stalinesque purge.
I do not generally approve of the death penalty. I however distinguish between that and what amounts to a public health measure…

If the Soviet Union still existed, and if it still had any idea of invading [Western Europe and] the UK, now would most certainly be the time to do it.
The sturdy, resilient British of the past, who faced off the Spanish Armada, Napoleon, so many other foes, and (whatever one might think of the perceived necessity for that) the German Reich, not to mention the Soviet Union itself in the Cold War, are now just a rabble of snivelling, fearful, facemask-wearing serfs.
The elite divisions of the Soviet armed forces, if they still existed, would be able to roll over the present British rabble without any resistance whatever, and that includes the tiny parts of our Army, Royal Navy and Royal Air Force that still function.
It might even be a good thing, to be frank.

One of the main characters, the main one really, is a young Jewish doctor, who is a Freudian psychiatrist, or “alienist” as people used to say (though not in the series).
Apart from the Jewish doctor-investigator, there were a few other unexpected sights: the woman in charge of police forensic science and records is Chinese! I have no idea whether there might have been some miniscule possibility that a Chinese woman might have worked for the Vienna police at that time. Unlikely, I suspect.
As to actual blacks, yes, there were a couple, inevitably, in a street crowd. Again, unlikely in the real Vienna of that time, but I suppose you never know. Of course, they are in the TV show for the usual propaganda reasons, Coudenhove-Kalergi Plan reasons, i.e. to normalize (for the young, mainly) their being in Europe at all.
The locations were good; I recognized a couple of them.
As for myself, I doubt whether I have driven when over, certainly seriously over, the limit more than a relatively few times: a few times in the Caribbean (I nearly drove off a cliff once), maybe once in the former Soviet Union (but that was off-road), once in Hungary by Lake Balaton (long story…), and a few times (over a period of 20 years; I only had a licence from age 42) in the UK; thinking back, though, I was not “drunk” as such, but probably would have failed a breath test. The two or three times in question were around 2007. These days I drink very little even when not driving, and would certainly not drink (even a couple of drinks) and drive.
I am not sure how vigilant the police are now in respect of the above. I have been breathalyzed once only, about 20 years ago, when driving from Hereford to the South Coast in the early hours of the morning. The police (in Wiltshire) were very polite, and it turned out that my reading was zero, so they let me go on my way.
All the people calling the #londonprotest#COVIDIOTS the idiots are actually those that blindly listen to a corrupt government.. it’s about hospitalisations & protecting the NHS, but hospitalisations are lower than last month. So why restrictions and threats of #lockdownuk
Intel from a journalist who has just witnessed a staged attack on the police by a group of non protesters who came to help the press get the picture they want. It was done so the papers can deflect from the real protesters. They came, created a fake story and left. DISGUSTING
I write a good deal about the facemask nonsense, because it is the most visible symbol of fealty and indeed subservience to the emergent biosecurity police state.
I have made the same comment a few times on the blog. The DDR (East Germany) was ahead of the politically-correct curve in some ways: feminism, legalized abortion, and (officially) “anti-racist”. There was also quite a strong Communist Jew cabal there as well.
Looking again at those videos, the symbolism is not only quasi-Masonic, but a synthesis of symbology from both the Soviet Union and the 1933-1945 German Reich (note the marching soldiers, and the kissing of the “Blutfahne” flag by (the equivalent of) a Komsomol girl.
As I have mentioned here before, I spent a couple of days in the DDR in 1988. Interesting. A facade of a state, somehow lacking reality. At times, it was like being in a 1960s episode of The Avengers.
Not that the DDR was all bad (and the Bundesrepublik had —and has— its own problems), but it was certainly not all good! I recall how, on exit from the DDR (I had entered from the East, from notionally-socialist Poland) the car was literally dismantled in part, the seats and other parts actually taken out for search and inspection. The border guards did reassemble everything, though! A process that took over an hour altogether, despite there being no other car or truck crossing then, at what was a little-used crossing-point. You have to be a little suspicious about a country so keen to prevent its citizens from escaping…
The border had a number of layers, including guarded stop-points, raked sand, barbed-wire, mined strips, watch-towers etc. Once through about a mile of no-man’s-land, you came to the border of the Bundesrepublik (West Germany). One uniformed guard in a little sentry-box, and a 1 minute stop and passport check.

@adamjoh04282263 It is perfectly possible to take precautions of the kind you think effective, without using the force of law, as Sweden has shown. 'Lockdown' is a term from US penitentiaries, describing harsh disciplinary action against convicts. https://t.co/Sd5wA8uD9t
Even? Now @dpjhodges you have found out that those who want to shut down our society don't see the vaccine as any reason to restrain themselves, yet you attack *me*? . As I told you, this was always an argument about proportion. They don't have any sense of proportion. https://t.co/pbTAb77EWR
