“A charity shop in North Yorkshire has caused a stir amongst local residents after putting a golliwog doll up for sale in its window for £4.50.

The teddy, considered by many to be a racist caricature of black people, was first spotted by shoppers in the window of Preloved, in Skipton, on Wednesday.

It was removed on the following Friday, as some residents labelled the display as ‘disgusting’ and vile’.

However, it is still understood to be for sale for £4.50 inside the store, which raises money for Cancer Support Yorkshire.

Resident Anne, a retired carer, said: ‘I was tempted to buy it just to remove it. 

In February 2023, police seized a collection of golliwog dolls from The White Hart Inn in Essex, following reports of a ‘suspected hate crime’.

A month later, the pub was forced to close its doors, after Heineken and Carlsberg told the owners to stop serving their beer.

A maintenance firm also refused to work on site.”

The hysterical “anti-racist” nonsense continues, though I expect that it is confined to a relatively small if not very small minority. “Retired carer Anne” in that report, if she exists at all, is obviously a malicious old ideologue; she even went into the charity shop to harangue the staff. “Was tempted to buy it just to remove it” but…did not do so. “ I think I might go back and buy it just to stop it being displayed.” Yeah, right… Loony “anti-racist” cretin.

There is, in fact, nothing wrong with the golliwog as a mascot or toy; it was not meant to be anti-black or anything; golliwogs are or were (I supposed all but banned now) akin to teddy bears— beloved toys or “inanimate” companions for young children, as seen in the image below (said to be from the 1950s, though it may be earlier):

There is a madness abroad in this country, a kind of witch-hunt mentality, promoted by “the usual suspects”, the idiotic “antifa” dupes and, ultimately, by those behind the Coudenhove-Kalergi Plan.

Akin to the controlled opposition organizations and online “activists” of similar type seen in the UK.

As someone who spent about 3 years in Australia as a child aged 10-13 (early 1967-late 1969), I think that that is probably so, more or less.

We have seen this many times before: “global warming”/”climate change”, “Covid” “pandemic” (scamdemic/panicdemic), not to mention (virtually non-existent) “far-right” “terrorism” “danger” etc. The self-interested, ideologically-biased, often very very peculiar “experts” in this field or that.

Golliwogs are not the only victims of the new UK poundland police state (which will no doubt become even more insanely Stasi-like under Yvette Cooper and Starmer, the post-2024 Labour Friends of Israel tyrants); free speech is another victim, as is general freedom of expression.

Tel Aviv, other cities, and some thoughts about “new” cities

The events in Israel/Palestine have sparked a few thoughts.

Not very beautiful, but it is impressive all the same, when one thinks that, 150 years ago, there was very little if any urbanization, though the port of Jaffa, the original town in part of the location, has existed for 1,800 years: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jaffa.

“In 1906, a group of Jews, among them residents of Jaffa, followed the initiative of Akiva Aryeh Weiss and banded together to form the Ahuzat Bayit (lit. “homestead”) society. One of the society’s goals was to form a “Hebrew urban centre in a healthy environment, planned according to the rules of aesthetics and modern hygiene”.[32] The urban planning for the new city was influenced by the garden city movement.[33] The first 60 plots were purchased in Kerem Djebali near Jaffa by Jacobus Kann, a Dutch citizen, who registered them in his name to circumvent the Turkish prohibition on Jewish land acquisition.[34] Meir Dizengoff, later Tel Aviv’s first mayor, also joined the Ahuzat Bayit society.[35][36] His vision for Tel Aviv involved peaceful co-existence with Arabs.[37][unreliable source]

On 11 April 1909, 66 Jewish families gathered on a desolate sand dune to parcel out the land by lottery using seashells. This gathering is considered the official date of the establishment of Tel Aviv. The lottery was organised by Akiva Aryeh Weiss, president of the building society.[38][39] Weiss collected 120 sea shells on the beach, half of them white and half of them grey. The members’ names were written on the white shells and the plot numbers on the grey shells. A boy drew names from one box of shells and a girl drew plot numbers from the second box. A photographer, Abraham Soskin (b. 1881 in Russia, made aliyah 1906[40]), documented the event. The first water well was later dug at this site, located on what is today Rothschild Boulevard, across from Dizengoff House.[41] Within a year, Herzl, Ahad Ha’am, Yehuda Halevi, Lilienblum, and Rothschild streets were built; a water system was installed; and 66 houses (including some on six subdivided plots) were completed.”

The city of Tel Aviv grew rapidly as Jewish immigration increased in the 1920s and 1930s:

It could be argued that, like so much of the world, Israel/Palestine would have been better had it stayed under European, in this case British, rule (the British having conquered the region during WW1, and then administered it under League of Nations mandate).

I have seen other “instant” cities, at least cities which have been founded from effectively nothing and then have mushroomed quite quickly (in historical terms). Salisbury, Rhodesia (now Harare, Zimbabwe) for one.

Incidentally, “Harare” was, pre-1980, the name of an African “township” (poor suburb outside the city).

I remember well how struck I was when I saw the flowering trees and bushes almost everywhere in the central and near-central parts of Salisbury. I have never been able to discover what were the quite large dark-green trees with football-sized spherical orange flowers that I saw quite often in 1977. Very beautiful.

In a way, a city such as Salisbury (now Harare) was even more impressive as a testament to human enterprise than somewhere such as Tel Aviv, which after all grew upon an existing port, Jaffa (or Yafa; the Jews call it Yafo). The location of Salisbury was almost terra nullius; only a few African tribesmen were in the area at the time of its foundation as a fort in 1890.

Population increases are always key. The present Harare has over 2M inhabitants; Tel Aviv (including autonomous suburbs etc) about 4M.

Another city, where I lived for a full year [1996-1997] is Almaty, Kazakhstan, founded (like Salisbury) as a fortified stockade in the late 19thC and called, by its Russian founders, Verny. Now, a city of over 2M inhabitants.

I find rather fascinating cities —and whole states and societies— which grow from almost nothing in a relatively short space of time. One, which I saw in its construction phase, was Milton Keynes [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Milton_Keynes]. I knew it for a few months in early 1977; on returning a few times about 30 years later, the difference was incredible. Whole suburbs where only fields were before; a railway station where none existed before; a population of over 250,000 (in 1977, only a few thousand); bus services (in 1977, effectively non-existent); filling stations; large modern hotels.

I appeared as Counsel a couple of times in the years 2002-2007 at Milton Keynes County Court; in 1977, there was no such court; neither was there the whole Central Milton Keynes district where the Court and the railway station etc are now located.

I saw Doha, Qatar, in 2001. A sleepy and not unpleasant city. When I returned in 2008, Doha was already unrecognizable, a city of concrete and skyscrapers. Since then, a further transformation along the same lines. A kind of Manhattan-look in the desert, and on the Red Sea.

One thing I can say which is positive about the Israelis is that much —not all— of their town planning is pretty good, from what I have seen from photos etc. Many of their suburbs and towns seem well-planned, with trees, parks and leisure facilities.

Of course, the foundation and sometimes fast development of cities has a flip side: cities can sometimes disappear quickly as well.

It seems that the vast majority of cruise missiles and drones (though 99% seems very high) were destroyed in the air either by Israeli forces or by US, UK, French, Jordanian and Saudi aircraft. Such cruise missiles and drones are quite slow. If, however, the Iranians were to use the hypersonic missiles they are said to possess, then it might be a very different story.

Look at most of the “alt-right” msm and/or social media “controlled opposition” types, the so-called “populists”, including those who make money, or try to make money, out of being pseudo-national and/or anti-Islam or anti-Islamist: the academic, Matt Goodwin, is a rising star of that tendency; others include the notorious Douglas Murray, Katie Hopkins, “Tommy Robinson”, Paul Golding and most of the “Britain First” crowd, and Anne Marie Waters of the now-defunct “For Britain” group. Then you have Farage, Tice, and their UKIP/Brexit Party/Reform UK parties.

They vary. Some are national figures with considerable public support, and are welcomed on msm platforms (e.g. Farage, and Matt Goodwin); others are marginal (e.g. Paul Golding of “Britain First”, Laurence Fox and his tiny Reclaim Party, and others). All, however, speak in favour of Israel, in favour of the UK Jewish lobby, and against any enemies (especially Islamist enemies) of Israel.

Most are also vehemently hostile to what they are pleased to call the “far right” (anyone social-national).

Look at that one profile: UKIP, Brexit Party, Reform UK, ITV, BBC Wales, TalkRadio, GB News, Talk TV, and the Daily Telegraph.

Counting the rounds, I made that a total of 11, not 8.

Thus proving, once again, that at least a substantial minority of UK voters, and about half of Conservative Party voters, are absolutely brainless.

The only reason a slight majority think that life is better now than in the 1960s and 1970s is because a constant drip-feed of propaganda tells them so. Most of the respondents would have been born after 1980 or 1975, of course.

The 1970s in the UK were a lot better than most people today will believe, despite some (actually quite limited) industrial unrest etc.

As for the 1960s, I remember them well, having been born in 1956. Fairly OK in most respects (I should add that I spent the last three years of that decade in Australia (Mosman/Cremorne, in Sydney), and that was another world then, though the devil is always in the detail: those were —and are— among the better suburbs of the city.

By my use of Electoral Calculus [https://www.electoralcalculus.co.uk/userpoll.html], that comes out as leaving the Conservative Party with about 35 MPs (Lab 527, LibDem 48).

Looking at the above tracker graph, the Labour intended vote has been fairly stable (within parameters) for about a year or so, whereas the Conservative Party intended vote has steadily declined for what seems to have been most of the past year. They’re toast…

Were the Con percentage to decline even one point, to 18%, even without an increase in any of the other numbers, the number of Con MPs would reduce to only 28.

When you see that, and factor in the political intentions of those under 40, and under 30, and the fact that the Con core vote consists largely of the retired, indeed of those over 70, over 80, you can see that this really could spell the end of the Conservative Party.

In fact, even were the Conservative Party to retain 100, even 150, MPs, it would be all but irrelevant in a Commons with 450+ Labour MPs, and a Labour majority of maybe 300 or more. That would hit Con Party funding and ability to come back from the debacle.

I was just musing on such ideas as I carefully drove a few miles this morning on a rural A-road, its surfacing poor and dotted with troughs and potholes which one had to navigate around, as in some areas of Russia and Ukraine (or, in pre-EU-membership days, in Bulgaria, as I recall from 2001). The decline of Britain is seen even in mundane areas such as road maintenance.

How strange. The little Indian money-juggler did not see fit to “condemn” the slaughter, by the Israeli forces, of tens of thousands of women an d children in Gaza, nor the unprovoked attack by Israel on the diplomatic and consular offices of Iran in Syria, an attack on two sovereign states.

“Ukrainian failure will be “worse than Vietnam” for the West, Johnson predicts.

If Russia takes control of Kyiv, it will become a disaster for “American leadership on the world stage” that is much greater than the outcome of the Vietnam War. Boris Johnson is sounding the alarm.

He also said he was “praying” that congressional Republicans would end the roughly $60 billion blockade of funding to Ukraine, adding: “The situation is grim and the delay is appalling.”

The British politician also said that the chaotic flight from Afghanistan in 2021 is “nothing compared to a possible Russian victory in Ukraine.”

There are exciting possibilities opening up, potentially affecting not only the Middle East, and Eastern Europe, but also Central and Western Europe, including the UK.

The USA lost any right to claim the “moral high ground” post-Cold War when it engaged in torture and/or depraved humiliation of captives and/or the innocent at Guantanamo Bay, Bagram, Abu Ghraib etc.

As for the UK, the old term “America’s poodle” covers it well enough (or “Israel’s poodle“, as far as the Westminster monkeyhouse is concerned).

Very few choose to join any of the armed forces now, because the services have no prestige, a poor career structure (certainly for “other ranks”), poor housing and, at the end, after 3, 5, 10, 22 or however many years, are just dumped into civilian life, in many cases without non-military skills, without accommodation, and without much money.

Another point is that some potential recruits are being forced to wait for months, even a year or more, before being approved by the rotten private contractor, Serco.

Back in 1975, I was told by someone in the Intelligence Corps of the British Army that some people were desperate to join immediately because they had no roof over their heads, and literally no money. The Corps would stretch a point, and allow them to come in even before the paperwork had been completed, and before any binding commitments had been made.

Such recruits would be given accommodation (at Templer Barracks, Ashford, Kent, now turned into a housing development like everything else in England), would eat in the NCO’s mess (there are no private soldiers in that Corps), and something would be found for them to do for a few days or a week while the necessary box-ticking was being done.

If accepted, they would join the next recruit squad; if not, they might go elsewhere in the Army or, at worst, leave having had a week of food and shelter; no harm done. Not now.

Apparently, the various military units at Ashford (the Intelligence Corps at Templer Barracks, and also the much larger ordinary Army base which surrounded the guarded Intelligence Corps centre) have long since been moved on, and the area, redeveloped as housing, is now known as Repton Park, though I have just seen that there is a small reserve Army military presence nearby even today.

I am expecting a general advance of Russian armour and infantry, supported by air power, in 2024 and/or 2025. The Kiev-regime forces do not have the manpower to resist, or will soon not have. They are all now in purely defensive mode, despite the occasional missile or drone provocation attacking Russia itself.

It may be that that general advance will move west and north-west until most of Eastern Ukraine (i.e. east of the Dnieper) is occupied by Russian forces.

Kiev itself has been heavily fortified in defensive layers, including massive minefields. It may be that there will not be an attempt to storm Kiev until much later, in late 2025, or 2026.

The Kiev regime is draining armed forces personnel, arms, ammunition at a fairly rapid rate now. There may be some kind of palace revolution in Kiev, with the Jewish dictator, Zelensky, removed and forced into exile, along with his cabal and their stolen billions. At that point, peace talks may well occur and result in an armistice, even if no final or formal result or peace is possible.

Ironic. That Jewish woman once, quite a few years ago, tweeted openly to another one that I (together with some other person, entirely unknown to me) should be given a glass of strychnine to drink…

The game is not…quite… at an end. As so often, people tweet or otherwise comment about the Muslim encroachment, and I have no argument about that, but they all too often ignore the fact of the far more powerful “Zionist” lobby, so embedded now in UK System politics, law, finance and business (obviously), and in the mainstream media and elsewhere.

Look at that cartoon. Islamic flags, but no Star of David or Israeli flags; yet which bloc or lobby is taking away freedom of expression in the UK? 90%+ of the repression is being co-ordinated by Jewish/Zionist and/or pro-Israel groups, such as the small but well-funded and very malicious “Campaign Against Antisemitism” kruzhok, which has attacked and tried to prosecute not only me but also such as Alison Chabloz, Al-Jazeera TV, David Icke, the Jewish —but anti-Israel— jazz musician Gilad Atzmon, and numerous others.

As far as my own situation is concerned, the “CAA” has engaged in a decade-long campaign against me (which fact the CAA admits, though saying it has been 7+ years-long). They also admit using the very peculiar Israel-lobby-owned “lord”, former MP Ian Austin, to pressure officials of the Crown (Clown) Prosecution Service, right up to the level of the Director of Public Prosecutions himself, to prosecute me on any basis that could be contrived.

The “CAA” (and their suborned dupes, the “Clown” Prosecution Service) were crowing online, including on Twitter/X, about having managed to get me convicted in November 2023, using the Communications Act 2003, s.127, a law so badly-drafted and unjust that the Law Commission has formally recommended its repeal, but the “CAA” has not tweeted at all about the sentence handed down in March 2024— 15 “rehabilitation” meetings with or via the Probation Service, and a costs order of £734 in all.

[I now, today, have just seen that the “CAA” website has published a long whining complaint that the sentence given to me was “scandalously lenient“. The “CAA” has nothing to complain about— its so-called “Director of Investigations and Enforcement” made a totally false allegation in 2021 that I had “racially abused” him. There was no evidence at all for that complaint, yet the individual has never been prosecuted, not yet anyway, for a quite plain attempted perversion of the course of justice].

I have little doubt that that “CAA” cabal will be trying to contrive another malicious complaint against me now that their 2021-2024 ones have fallen flat; fallen flat despite my 2023 conviction and 2024 sentence, because the sentence was fairly lenient (though I had hoped for an even-lighter sentence, a conditional discharge and/or small fine), and because the (rather fair-minded, in my opinion) sentencing judge refused to grant the pathetic —and pathetically-poorly drafted— Clown Crown Prosecution Service application to restrict what I say or publish on the blog.

Also, there was no suspended sentence of imprisonment— my written Defendant’s Argument on Sentence put paid to any idea of that sort, and Prosecution Counsel, to be fair, was not foolish enough to ask for one once the trial judge had effectively ruled that out at end of trial (let alone actual imprisonment).

Anyway, what that means is that, should the “CAA” and/or police and Clown Prosecution Service want to prosecute me again, i.e. for what has been posted on the blog since mid-November 2023, or what is being currently posted on the blog, they will have to start all over again, and if they were to do that (pointlessly wasting yet more tens of thousands of pounds of public money), the matter would probably not conclude until some time in 2025, or even later, were I to appeal any conviction and sentence (and, were I to be convicted again, an appeal might be more likely than it was in the 2023/2024 matter).

I should robustly defend any further attempt to prosecute me for anything, of course.

Actually, while I dispute that any of the material in respect of which I was recently convicted and sentenced was “grossly offensive” anyway, regular readers will have noted that the blog has, in the past months, taken on a more diplomatic and more thoughtful tone, while remaining staunch and steadfast in principle and ideology.

Incidentally, readers may like to know that no Prosecution application was made to the Court at trial or after sentence that any material should be removed from the blog. All the (5) blog posts (out of 1,800 posted since 2016) which were the subject-matter of the trial remain extant and, while naturally it is the wiser course for me not to link to them, browsing readers interested in seeing what nonsense the prosecution was can see all of those blog posts via the search box or otherwise.

Indeed, the Clown Prosecution Service and “CAA”, as well as the few mass media outlets that reported my conviction and/or sentence, have themselves republished most of the supposedly “grossly offensive” remarks about Jews allegedly first posted by me, thus spreading those remarks far and wide. Thank you, clowns!

My legal position now, in respect of the blog, is what it was this time last year, or indeed in 2022, 2021, 2020, 2019, 2018, 2017, and 2016 (when the blog started). The blog remains, all previous posts remain in place, and I continue to blog, despite the inevitably chilling effect on freedom of expression of the past year’s repressive legal process.

I have to say that the few Palestinians I have met (mostly in Qatar and around) have impressed me in that way, and far more favourably than the arrogant and stupid Gulf Arabs (Qataris and Kuwaitis) also met.

Sometime in the 1970s, I think probably in late 1977, I met the PLO representative in London, Said Hammami, who was based at the Arab League offices in Mayfair, and he was rather dismissive, but in retrospect I suppose that he had things on his mind, and probably little time in which to speak to a young person (21-y-o) with his head in the clouds in some ways…

I do not remember much about the discussion; mostly that the PLO man wore a rather filthy sheepskin coat in his little office, and that a young and rather stylish Arab woman in the outer office smoked a kind of long brown cigarette called More; I remember asking her what they were [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/More_(cigarette)].

Unfortunately, that PLO fellow was shot dead in the same office only (as far as I can recall) a few weeks later. The matter was never solved by the police. Apparently he was in favour of talking to the Israelis; that may have been the reason behind the assassination.

Obviously, I would take issue with some of that, but there is no doubt that National Socialism and Zionism both emerged from similar ideas current in the Central European region in the 19th Century, Zionism from the “blood and soil” ideas of Herzl, and National Socialism from similar but Aryan/European-oriented ideas. “Mathematically impossible numbers“? I seem to recall another situation in history involving “mathematically-impossible numbers” of individuals supposedly killed…in fact, that other situation involves numbers so vast, and industrial contrivances so complicated (and for which there is no historical evidence at all), that it seems that, at least in the way “they” usually say, and/or in the numbers “they” say, it is doubtful that that situation ever occurred at all…

If the numbers shown from Gaza are —supposedly— implausible (according to the Israelis), then those other numbers, from that other —supposed— incident of world history (promoted constantly by the Israelis and the world Jewish lobby) are completely unbelievable, as are the supposed events in detail.

As far as the Gazan deaths and injuries are concerned, the Israelis seem to be saying something akin to “we have not killed 30,000+ people, mostly women and children, neither have we injured 100,000+. The figures are far less high, and far fewer children were killed or grievously injured.”

Do the “Israelis” really think that that sort of argument cuts much ice, even if true (and, after all, they are inveterate falsifiers of history)?

I have always been puzzled at the career of Jeremy Vine. Basically rather mediocre as journalist and presenter, with a 2:2 degree in English. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jeremy_Vine. Just fortunate, I suppose. Also, always parrots the System line, whether re. free speech or, say, “Covid”…

There are bigger issues.

Happened to see the above. I have read it. Nothing obviously objectionable in it. The leader of that new party is Alek Yerbury, of whom I only recently heard.

Worth pointing out, though, that the tens of thousands of pounds (maybe hundreds of thousands) the police (behaving as a poundland Stasi) and Clown Prosecution “Service” spent and wasted (over years), employing drones and dogsbodies to trawl through about a thousand or more of my blog posts, might have been better spent dealing with real crime, not invented and contrived thought crime. Just a thought.

All that money and effort (and it would have been thousands more had I availed myself, as I was entitled to do, of my right to instruct solicitors and Counsel via legal aid) has resulted in a sentence of 15 days (part-days) talking with the Probation Service, plus a costs order of £734 (part of which has already been crowdfunded, and which is anyway being paid off at a not-too-painful £91.75 per month).

Jesus H. Christ! Even Nick Ferrari has apparently woken up to the menace of Israel and the UK Jewish lobby. I would scarcely have believed it.

Now all we need is for the suborned UK police and CPS to wake up and stop allowing themselves to be played by “the lobby”…
