Betar failed to repair the Struma’s diesel engine and signalled distress. The Romanian navy returned and Betar demanded the Romanians fix their engine for free; the Romanians refused and requested to be paid for their time and the parts. Betar refused to pay the Romanians so the passengers paid the Romanians with their wedding rings instead; the Romanians then fixed the Stuma’s engine.
Two days later the Struma’s engine promptly failed again and she was towed into Istanbul harbour by the Turkish navy on 15th December 1941.
It was then revealed that Betar hadn’t arranged any visas to Palestine at all for the passengers or the Betar youth. The British refused them permission to migrate to Palestine as illegal immigrants (per the British White Paper of 1939 on this) and Turkey refused to grand them entry as illegal immigrants (so as to not encourage more such immigration and burden their tax payers and ports).
Weeks of negotiation followed between the British and Turks; the jews then ran out of food and refused to let Turkish police board the Struma. The result was the British honoured expired visas for Palestine held by a couple of the passengers plus granted visas to any jew who was 11-16 years old. While the Turks hospitalized one jew who was ill but the bulk of the jews didn’t fit this criteria. However neither the British or the Turks agreed to take these jewish illegal immigrants.
The Turkish government spent weeks trying to repair the Struma’s engine but failed. Eventually the Turkish authorities had had enough of jews demanding things from them (food, immigration visas, free repairs etc) so they towed the Struma out to international waters for jewish organizations or another country to sort out.
The Struma floats around a bit with no engine; jewish groups make no attempt to rescue the crew and passengers.

Unbelievable. Farage gets in at PMQS, and again goes on the Chagos Islands. He's either given up on Gorton and Denton or is deliberately trying to lose it.
Have to say, Gorton & Denton is the strangest by-election I can remember. Having been up there, my instinct was Reform would pinch the seat despite Labour's optimism. But given Farage has decided to abandon it, it's hard to see how Labour don't hold on.
I do not agree with that conclusion. I still think that Reform (Matt Goodwin) could do this. All three main contenders (the others are jokes and wasted votes) are within one point of each other, around 28% (so not far off the 30% each I predicted weeks ago on the blog).
What surprises me, even in a constituency full of uncultured, uneducated Pakistani Muslims and former tribal-Labour English, is that over a quarter of voters are, even now, going to vote Labour! What do they have between their ears? Not brains, I think.
The only serious theory – and I wrote about this a couple of weeks ago – is that Farage sees Starmer as such a huge asset to Reform he wants to keep him in place.
That has occurred to me, as have several other theories. One of those would be that Farage wants Reform to be a kind of populist “Conservative” party with a few add-ons, whereas Matt Goodwin is halfway to social-nationalism (having started his ideological journey, years ago, as a kind of “anti-fascist” academic stooge-type. I think he even tweeted against me once or twice). Certainly Farage has not been very supportive of Goodwin during the by-election campaign.
It occurred to me that Mandelson might (but probably would not) flee to Israel, as a Jew with “right of return”, and I put that on the blog about a week ago, but the BVI (British Virgin Islands)?! Absurd. The BVI is a British Overseas Territory, so not a safe place of sanctuary.

This shift could further deepen internal polarization and fundamentally alter the “social contract” that binds Israeli society. 5) For the first time in 15 years, Israel has seen a negative migration balance, challenging the Zionist vision of the country as a primary safe haven for Jews worldwide.

The polls open at 0700 hrs tomorrow morning. A few votes may decide the issue.
Whether Matt Goodwin wins it for Reform, or the Greens win it, or even if Labour retains the seat by a whisker, any of those outcomes will show that Labour is on the way out. Labour scored 50.8% there in 2024, so any result less than 1. a Labour win but also 2. with at least 40% of the votes cast, is bad for Labour and for Starmer. Gorton and Denton has always been a “tribal” Labour area.
Final Gorton & Denton prediction:
Genuinely haven’t a clue. Everything I saw last week told me Labour’s vote is imploding. But Farage’s weird strategy – or non strategy – doesn’t demonstrate confidence. And I don’t think the Greens have sufficient organisation to win outright.
Thus speaks the typical “Westminster Bubbler”, or political gossip insider. Politics as a matter of organization, “comms”, a get-the-vote-out local machine etc.
Dan Hodges may be right, and all of the above matter.
For me, the actual result is not the main thing. For one thing, a third of the voters are Muslims, mostly Pakistanis. As far as I am concerned, their participation renders the vote non-legitimate anyway, if it results in a win for Labour or the Greens.
Secondly, what matters is that, even were Labour to win with, say, 35% of the vote, that means that in most of the country, in places where Labour is not part of a secular trinity (Labour-NHS-football), Labour is toast.
The point is no one, outside Westminster cares about Chagos.

MPs in Gorton and Denton this week all basically saying very different things, one saying they are sure that Reform will win, two more saying Labour could, another saying it’s turned into a Labour- Green battle. Polls showing Greens ahead. All sees v tight…
I have blogged previously, several times, about the Gorton and Denton by-election. From (obviously) a considerable distance, I see it as being very close among Reform/Greens/Labour, but I just cannot see who would vote Labour now, in that seat or elsewhere.
Having said that, the one-third of eligible voters in the by-election who are Pakistani Muslims are hard to fathom. Many cannot even speak English, and their educational level is probably rock-bottom. Who knows what their motivations might be? Labour is said to have an effective electoral machine up there (though journalists say that little has been seen of Labour canvassers etc).
I can see the dilemma of the Muslim voters, perhaps unwilling to vote Labour because it is a Labour Friends of Israel misgovernment, also unwilling (perhaps) to vote Green because Green policies include the decriminalization of both drugs (all drugs) and pornography (all pornography?), yet unwilling to vote for the (supposedly) anti-migration-invasion Reform UK.
The Muslims would probably have voted for George Galloway or his candidate, but he has endorsed the Green Party candidate, thus greatly boosting the Greens’ chances.
I should imagine that most white English/British voters in the seat will be voting Reform; we shall see. To vote any other way would be turkeys voting for Christmas.
My own feeling is that Matt Goodwin, for Reform, could still do this, but it may run very close.

Every single piece of literature and video we have put out during the Gorton & Denton by-election campaign has been in English, our national language. I should not need to point this out but with Labour & the Greens doubling down on dangerous sectarianism I feel the need to.
The betting market is strongly focussed on the Greens to take Gorton and Denton at the by-election. Maybe so, but I remain convinced that Reform and Goodwin can still do this.
Many 2024 Labour voters (50.8% vote-share) in the constituency will either not vote at all, or will migrate to Reform or the Greens.
Many of the Muslims, who comprise about a third of all Gorton/Denton voters, will migrate to Green; at any rate, the Muslim vote may be split between Green and Labour (in proportions that are and will be unknown, even after Thursday).
How many white English/British voters will go for Reform is also up in the air, as is any quantification of the chance of Reform being able to recruit people eligible to vote but who did not vote in 2024 (turnout was only 46.8%, pathetic for a general election). In 2024, Labour was returned with 50.8% of votes cast, but only about 23%-24% of all eligible votes.
My guess is that few real British/English voters are going to vote Labour in this by-election, and they are about 65% of all eligible voters. The Muslims will either go Labour or Green, probably more the latter.
My conclusion remains what it has been since the beginning: very close, but Reform can do this, if luck is with them.

That was Stephen Silverman, a toxic Jew-Zionist conspirator and self-styled “Head of Investigations and Enforcement” at the small but (((well-funded))) Israeli Embassy-connected “Campaign Against Antisemitism” or “CAA”. Silverman was exposed in open court, years ago, as an online troll who used the pseudonym “Bedlam Jones” (among several others), while threatening and intimidating anti-Zionists (mostly women) online. He also turned up to gloat and snoop at my free speech trial and sentencing of 2023-2024, a trial which he had spent years trying to instigate and procure (the “CAA”, i.e. Silverman, admitted “7 years“).
Silverman also made, over the years since 2016, a number of completely false complaints about me to the police. He really should, even now, be prosecuted for attempted perversion of the course of justice. Yet, even now, I see Silverman occasionally on the “does anyone watch?” Talk TV, pathetic GB News etc. He is apparently also even on Sky News and the BBC on occasion. Those newsrooms obviously cannot know the background.
Incidentally, the other main “CAA” troublemaker, Gideon Falter, a liar and indeed perjurer (though he has never been prosecuted for that, at least so far), is also often on TV and radio, promoting the idea that Jews are somehow “in danger” in the UK because of “antisemitism”. The division isn’t something we’re creating, it’s the inevitable result of mass importation and the deliberate erosion of our homeland.
The left, the foreigners they’ve imported, and the civic nationalists preaching endless “inclusion” are perfectly united in one thing: their hostility toward us.
They label any defence of our borders, our culture, our right to exist as the majority in our own land as “racist,” “hateful,” “divisive.” Yet they demand we embrace strangers who show zero reciprocity, who cluster together and exclude us in turn.
This isn’t about hatred; it’s about priority. England belongs first and foremost to the English, the natives whose ancestors built it, bled for it, and named it. We owe no one assimilation into oblivion.
We don’t want to “live alongside” or “accept” the transformation of our towns into foreign outposts. A shopkeeper here for twenty years doesn’t make this his ancestral home; it remains ours, always will.
The smears are predictable: paint the native who says “enough” as the villain, while the real aggressors, those erasing our identity through demographics and guilt, pose as the moral superiors. We’re already shunned, sidelined, and told our concerns are illegitimate in the country our forebears forged.
Unity on their terms means our surrender. No thanks. The English come first. If that’s “divisive,” so be it, better divided and honest than united in our own extinction.
And make no mistake: extinction is precisely what’s on the table. Official projections show the native British population will start declining outright from 2026 onward, births falling below deaths, with any “growth” coming solely from net migration that imports hundreds of thousands annually, even as the figures are massaged downward from the insane peaks of recent years.
The ONS and think tanks spell it out plainly: without endless foreign influx, our numbers shrink. And remember, the ONS data is 5 years out of date, I’d dread to think what the stats are like now in 2026. With it, we become minorities in the land our bloodlines shaped over centuries.
The demographic replacement isn’t conspiracy; it’s arithmetic. Towns turned unrecognisable, schools where English is a second language, hospitals strained by demands from people who never paid into the system, crime patterns shifting in ways no honest person can ignore.
Yet we’re told to celebrate this as “enrichment,” to shut up about the grooming gangs shielded for fear of “racism,” to pretend Islam’s incompatibility with our secular, hard-won freedoms is just another vibrant thread in the tapestry.
It isn’t. It’s an existential threat, accelerated by politicians who sold us out for cheap labour and virtue-signalling points. The English natives aren’t the problem; we’re the solution. We don’t need to “unite” with those actively displacing us, we need to reassert sovereignty, halt the inflow, reverse what’s reversible, and put our people first before it’s too late, that’s basic common sense.
