What can I say?

Stray thoughts on a hot afternoon

I have never claimed a long culinary repertoire; indeed, before I married for the first time, I lived almost entirely on cold food (whatever the season), or fed while outside my residence(s), though I did occasionally cook buckwheat kasha (quite nice if boiled then fried), scrambled eggs and, from time to time, vegetable curry.

Two marriages etc have, perhaps counter-intuitively, led me to pick up a few other recipes, such as fish pie. Today, though, I embark on something new, formerly had only at other people’s houses (often in gardens) in summer— okroshka.

Okroshka is cold soup, which if made properly is very pleasant on a hot day. Many recipes can be found online, e.g. https://www.anediblemosaic.com/okroshka-recipe-refreshing-russian-cold-soup/.

Sometimes, okroshka has ham in it, but I do not eat meat, and I think that (as with Russian or “Olivier” Salad), ham or other meat is an unnecessary extra anyway.

I doubt that mine will match examples had elsewhere, prepared by foodie people, and I lack kvass (a drink made from fermented rye bread), a usual ingredient, but I expect it will be good enough.

On this hot day, I have also been thinking about something else, namely the fact that the Starmer-stein Labour Friends of Israel government has lost control of this country in every way.

Migration-invasion continuing at an even greater rate, with an average of about 1,000 a day now crossing illegally, and a further 5,000+ coming in “legally”, as (or posing as) “dependent family”, “spouses”, “fiances”, “tourists”, “high-skilled workers” (Indians able to work a computer, medical staff etc), “students” (few ever return home), and so on.

We also have an “invasion by births”, births of non-Europeans, whether born in the UK or not.

Court system on its knees, street crime ubiquitous (in the London area). The latest wheeze is to release “some” (presumably, non-political) prisoners after they have served 20% of their headline sentence, so someone sentenced to a year will only do about 10 weeks, and a 3-month sentence will presumably be, in reality, 2-3 weeks .

If there were no non-Europeans in this country, or only small numbers, the prison population would not be about 120,000 but nearer to 20,000. In fact, if the Irish “tinker”/”traveller” element, and the Roma Gypsy element, were also both removed, the number of prisoners would fall to about 10,000.

The court system has backlogs which are getting worse. I noticed that Professor/Dr David Miller, now being privately prosecuted in the magistrates’ court by the malicious Jew-Zionist org “Campaign Against Antisemitism” or “CAA”, had his first appearance a few days ago. Trial is set for December!

In the Crown Courts, many cases starting their process now, have trial dates, in some instances, set as far ahead as 2029!

The streets, especially in London, are becoming an urban jungle.

This government has pretty much lost control. Ironic, really, because there has not been a UK government so full of control freaks since the days of Tony Blair.

Incidentally, another cold soup I like is vichyssoise. Maybe tomorrow or the next day.

I almost (but not quite) feel sorry for Penny Mordaunt. After a non-“silver spoon” childhood and youth, and some years in public relations, she became an MP at 37 (in 2010), a minister in 2015, and a Cabinet minister by 2017. By 2022, she was regarded as a potential Conservative Party leader and so, at the time, Prime Minister.

Penny Mordaunt’s two Con leadership bids ran quickly into the sand. She then lost, in 2024, her Commons seat (fairly narrowly, and because Reform UK ate into the Con vote: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Portsmouth_North_(UK_Parliament_constituency)#Elections_in_the_2020s).

Now, Penny Mordaunt apparently makes an income as part-time “consultant” to British-American Tobacco, though it is hard to see what value, if any, she might bring to such a role.

Penny Mordaunt (whom, as a politician, I do not entirely dislike) is now politically irrelevant, and still seems to regard the Conservative Party as the main show in town, whereas in reality the Con Party is on its last legs. The polling says it all: Starmer-Labour is a dead party walking, in much of the country, but that does not mean that the Conservative Party will bounce back as in the past. Look at the opinion polling. The Con Party is on 16%, 17%, somewhere around there, with no sign of increasing its support.

Politically, and at only 52, Penny Mordaunt is finished, in my opinion. She has no Commons seat, and is unlikely to win back her former seat (though I concede that that might just be possible in a 3-way Labour-Reform-Con contest in —?— 2029 at Portsmouth North). I doubt that she would join Reform under any circumstances (and, to give her her due, I think that she is driven, partly, by principle as well as by expediency— but after her near-win in 2024, she would surely be “nailed on” if standing again but under the Reform banner).

Reminiscences: temps perdu, and thoughts about mortality

When one is well over 60, as I now am (68; b. 1956), thoughts may naturally turn to mortality, life and death, and questions larger than the everyday concerns of life. That may be so when one notices that many people one has known in life are now defunct.

Some of the people I have known, or have merely met briefly or peripherally in the past, are still alive; many, however, are not. Some of those who are no longer alive have died from various natural causes (and are too numerous to list), others expired from unnatural causes (such as a Nigerian princess I knew, shot dead in Lagos in the late 1990s) or from causes or reasons unknown (such as the ex-husband of a lady I knew in the 1980s, which ex-husband apparently drowned in the Thames at London). A few, friends of friends rather than people I knew well, sadly died via suicide many years ago.

These thoughts came again to mind yesterday when I noticed information online to the effect that a former American colleague, a major-league American lawyer called Tim Scrantom, died some time ago, in 2021, apparently of a brain tumour. He was diagnosed in April 2021, and died 6 months later.

Tim Scrantom was a couple of months younger than me, a fact which sharpens my reminiscence.

I met Scrantom after a headhunter in New York suggested to him and his two main colleagues, in 2001, that I might suit his niche law firm (based in Charleston, South Carolina). I was telephoned in Turkey, where I was then resident, and we arranged to meet in London at one of my usual haunts, the Churchill Bar at the Hotel Russell in Russell Square.

I drove back to England via Greece, Bulgaria, Romania (the latter two then not EU states, and very ramshackle), Hungary (excellent country), Austria, Germany (calling in at Berchtesgaden), Luxembourg, and Belgium.

The upshot was that Scrantom and I became colleagues, he based mostly at Charleston (the office was at East Bay Street, in the conservation zone of the city), I mostly in London, though we both visited various offshore jurisdictions, once or twice in tandem, as when we went to Liechtenstein one day (well, I did; Scrantom had left his passport at the Mayfair Hotel, and only discovered that fact when we met at Heathrow, prior to flying to Zurich…).

Scrantom was a genial host. He invited my wife and me to dinner in Charleston in August or early September 2001 and, on a later solo visit, I visited his home on Sullivan’s Island, by Charleston, where he lived with his then wife (I believe they divorced later) and young daughter.

Scrantom, though a graduate from American law schools, an attorney in several states, and a professor of law as well, was also a barrister of Gray’s Inn in London. I was a barrister of Lincoln’s Inn, though many years later (2016) wrongfully and unlawfully disbarred at the instigation of a pack of malicious and politically-motivated Jew-Zionists.

Scrantom, incidentally, was a modest fellow, very much a “Southern gentleman”, born in Georgia and from a wealthy background. I liked him. I never knew (until yesterday) about some of his earlier adventures, such as sailing around the Bahamas on his yacht, exploring the Himalayas, or visiting edgy places in Cambodia and elsewhere in South-East Asia, though he did tell me that he knew several of the people portrayed in the famous book and film Midnight in the Garden of Good and Evil [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Midnight_in_the_Garden_of_Good_and_Evil_(film)], the events of which occurred in Savannah, Georgia, where Scrantom’s family members were largely based.

In September 2001, I was with Scrantom in a taxi in the Strand, London, when his wife called to say that New York was under attack. We interrupted our journey (to the Berkeley Square area of Mayfair) to get out at a Dixons store to look at the TV screens.

I well remember him later fuming that Iraq “must have” been behind the attack on the World Trade Center (that was the neo-con and American msm line at the time, of course) and that “Israel has the right idea” (i.e. bomb the hell out…). Well, he was wrong, of course, and we disagreed about that. Like most Americans, and despite his intelligence and education, he was influenced by the pro-Israel propaganda so pervasive in the msm in the USA (though his main colleague, Ron, a hard-driving former USAF officer, was more alive to the menace of Jew-Zionism, and he was, as one might expect, also pro-USA to the hilt).

Now, it is considered more acceptable.

I do not much like the concept (and Jew-Zionists in England use “litigation insurance” to pursue pro-Israel “lawfare”), so maybe it is just as well that our professional connection was mainly severed in 2002, when I decided to return to the ordinary practising Bar in England. I then moved to a large country house in Cornwall, and was based professionally at Exeter.

As already mentioned, I liked Tim (though not his then wife, to be frank; I only met her once), though I should say that he and his two main colleagues had no idea at all about how to run a law firm.

Life is short, something few if any really understand when in their twenties or thirties. We all have to try to accomplish something, not in a careerist sense, but for the future of the Earth, while in any particular incarnation.

That idiot, a (?) 30-something wannabee or occasional scribbler, tweeted something about me quite a while ago, I think in 2023 or 2024. He seems to be very pro-Jew-Zionist and pro-Israel, and his msm scribblings (it seems as part of teams, not sole bylines) were 6-11 years ago. Apparently, that Cortbus person was once a UKIP activist (when a student, about 12-14 years ago).

I notice that that individual has only about 2,500 Twitter/X followers. When a pack of Jews had me expelled from Twitter in 2018, I had 3,000 followers (and that had been artificially lowered); by now I would have had tens of thousands of Twitter followers. Ah well…so much for “free speech” in this country…

Incidentally, I was unaware about that event in Zagreb. Looks as though parts of Europe are waking up.

…but look at that dishonest little Pakistani, Sajid Javid. Wrong once again. Remember his denial of the link between the migration invasion of tens of millions into the UK, and housing shortages?

Make that nearer to 10-15M, though…(plus births).

Starmer-stein is a total idiot. No idea about how to run the UK. Clueless. I predicted it, about 3-4 years ago, on the blog.

Scotland is even worse than England. Some of the idiots up there even claim to welcome being invaded by backward hordes!

The Labour Party in Scotland is actually headed by a Pakistani; so was (how ludicrous can you get?) the Scottish “National” Party, until recently.

As for that rapist, he will be out in 5-6 months. Shocking. The woman victim must be devastated and feel totally unprotected and unavenged.

Economic sanctions rarely work. When I was in Rhodesia in 1977, the roads outside the capital, Salisbury (now Harare) were empty, but that was not because of sanctions (fuel rationing only lasted 1965-1971). New cars were often seen in the city, though none were of British manufacture; French, I think Spanish, or other. Sanctions had limited effect— things such as books, Scotch whisky etc. Nothing really major. Tobacco, oranges, chrome etc were still exported (often under false flags).

Compare Putin to pathetic and dishonest Starmer-stein, or that truly ridiculous “diversity hire”, Lammy.

I presume that Lewis is hiding out in Israel. He has or had a flat in Eilat, a fact that he concealed from the Solicitors’ Disciplinary Tribunal when he was found guilty on several charges in 2018. Indeed, his Counsel told the Tribunal that Lewis should have his fine greatly reduced because Lewis’s only assets were his clothes, a mobility scooter, and a private pension worth £70 a week.

Mark Lewis is little better than a confidence trickster.

Incidentally, Lewis was an abusive husband when married briefly (one year) to the Z-list “celebrity” and, briefly, Sky News newsreader, Caroline Feraday (amusingly, best-known for having been sacked by text message by BBC local radio about 15 years ago).

Not that I care at all about Lewis’s abusive behaviour to his then wife, who now lives in a “nowheresville” in the outer regions of Los Angeles (see my blog posts).

The Feraday woman joined with Lewis in attacking me viciously on Twitter (about my opposition to the Jewish fake WW2 “reparations” scam); in fact she initiated the attacks, with which Lewis then joined in. Until then (many years ago, about 2012 or so), I had never heard of the bastard, or her.

Mark Lewis was (maybe still is) a “patron” of that evil and squalid organization, the “Campaign Against Antisemitism” or “CAA”, working with its main characters, such as Gideon Falter (a proven liar and, arguably, perjurer) and the Jew-Zionist Israel fanatic, posing as “Head of Investigations and Enforcement”, whom we can call “Slitherman”.

An example below of Lewis’s abusive social media activity, which (after several years) got him into trouble (though not via me— unlike the Jew-Zionist troublemakers, I do not waste time making endless complaints to police etc):

My own Twitter account, as explained, was deleted by Twitter itself in 2018 at the instigation of effectively the same pack of Jews, while Caroline Feraday deleted her original Twitter account a year or two ago, mainly because it was too embarrassing for her in various ways. She has another Twitter/X account now (with only 115 “followers”, despite she herself following 166 Twitter/X accounts).

Caroline Feraday’s now-deleted Twitter account had, at one time, tens of thousands of “followers”, all fake, all bought by her and by “Mark Lewis Lawyer”, who himself bought nearly 80,000 in an attempt to seem important, popular etc. Legal business news outlets even commented, cautiously, about the dishonest fakery of Lewis and his then wife.

Caroline Feraday now works for local public radio station KCLU in Ventura County, California, a subsidized radio station (National Public Radio network) with (putting it jokingly) about half a dozen listeners.

A few years ago, Caroline Feraday was publicly begging on GoFundMe, in an attempt to raise a mere USD $5,000. Sic transit gloria mundi…(and “celebrity”)…

From last month; I missed that one.

I have seen the odd thing over the years from Rod Liddle with which I have agreed; quite a lot with which I disagreed. Also, my impression (I have never met him) is that he is rather an unpleasant person.

I could suggest something, but would not want some Jew-Zionist troublemaker making yet another contrived complaint to the police “service” about me.

A rather nice Chevy Suburban. I wanted to get one of those a few years ago, but they are expensive when sold new in the UK; there are almost none used on sale, and actually they are not so convenient either, being heavy on fuel consumption and also rather outsize for roads and (especially) the cramped parking places in this country. The same is true of the Lincoln Navigator, though there are usually a few used ones for sale in the UK at reasonable prices.

Not that I am a car buff. I only had a driving licence from age 42, and for me the appropriate phrase would be “a second-class ride is better than a first-class walk“…

Realistically, one can see what is going on here. The Army wants to tick the “we’re rough and ready, if need be” box for benefit of those MPs (and the general public) rather than say the truth, i.e. “we have only a few tens of thousands of soldiers, maybe 70,000 at most, and only a few thousand of those are really battle-ready in any sense“…

Another truthful response might be “in any real war between Russia and NATO forces, much of Europe will become a devastated and irradiated wasteland, and the UK would probably be the worst-hit of all, with its US air bases and the Trident submarine pens in Scotland” (submarine pens do exist in Western France as well, though fully under French command).

In reality, the UK is only a major player in that deadly game because it is an “unsinkable aircraft carrier” for the US forces. Why are our treacherous NWO/ZOG governments still playing that 1940s-1980s Cold War game, and why are they pretending that “we” can fight Russia (in any way at all)? Indeed, why are they still pretending that “we” might “have to” fight Russia anyway, when Russia has no interest in invading Western Europe, Central Europe, or even (most of) Eastern Europe?

I agree with much of that which Goodwin has been saying in recent months. I agree with much, not all, of Reform UK’s views. However, they have several very weak points in their armour. The worst is, of course, this pro-Israel, pro-Jewish lobby viewpoint, which may be partly sincerely-held (though, if so, it does not say much for Goodwin’s, Farage’s, or Tice’s perspicacity), but is evidently partly in place because Goodwin/Farage/Tice/Reform are afraid of being “cancelled” on TV, radio, newspapers, social media etc by the power and influence of the Jewish/Israeli lobby. Craven.

Israel is no “ally” of the UK. Its founders hanged, shot and blew up British soldiers and civilians even during the 1939-45 war against the German Reich, terrorism that intensified after that war’s end.

There are other aspects to Reform UK policy which may put off large numbers of voters, particularly its pseudo-“libertarian” socio-economics, but also the fact that Reform will not deport “legal” non-European migrant-invaders, only (they say) the “illegals”. I doubt whether they will even do that on a large scale, but they say they will…

Reform’s only useful function, in my view, is to break up the existing System “three main parties” scam. Once that is achieved, we’ll see.

I agree, largely, with this, though:

The voters have, most of them, already turned away from both Lab and Con, though the LibDems, as traditional default alternative or dustbin have managed to entice many former Con voters, and many young voters.

The flaws in the Reform policy offering may not much affect the overall result, because people are thoroughly sick of Lab and Con and want things to start to work properly again, putting it at most basic. Lab and Con both have to be destroyed; Reform is the only immediate way to do that.

Perhaps so, but what about the Jew-Zionist-Israel lobby, which suborns police and CPS, and makes false, lying, and indeed perjuring, allegations and accusations to police, professional regulators, the mass media etc under the anti-“antisemitism” banner?

Saw a few minutes of some TV propaganda piece featuring Starmer-stein and Rachel Reeves. She is so much of a robot that she puts previous political robots, such as “the Maybot” (Theresa May) into the shade. Rachel Reeves strikes me as a human tick-box, most of the time. There seems to be nothing in between a robotic impression and a meltdown impression, as seen in the Commons yesterday.

Many years ago, I wanted to visit Sukhumi, a small resort in Abkhazia, north of Adzharia , which resort was developed under 19thC Tsarist rule, but unfortunately there was considerable civil war damage after the collapse of the Soviet Union; at any rate, I never did go there; neither have I ever been to Batumi, an autonomous part of Georgia.

Yes to more English/British children, but no to more children from non-whites resident in the UK.

Even that does not tell the whole story, because quite a high proportion of the grandmothers, or grandfathers, or both, of the remaining 66% are in fact also non-white, non-European.

I have just looked at a few recent tweets by Steele. He is, it seems to me, in danger of becoming obsessed by the idea of Trump as Russian secret (or not-so-secret) agent.

As for the Conservative Party, probably damaged beyond repair now. 14 years of terrible misgovernment in almost all if not all areas, and now “led” by hopeless Nigerian woman Kemi Badenoch.

Is it surprising, really? After all, the State of Israel was founded on “ethnic cleansing”, massacres of Arab civilians (men, women, and children), and theft of land and housing. Dystopian London, on the island of strangers

Just look at that. Near-Central London. A citizen is attacked by an untermensch from God-knows-where. No station staff are around, no passers-by try to help much, or at all. The “island of strangers”, as Starmer-stein recently called it (and he ought to know— after all, he helped to bring it to birth…).

Eventually, the police do arrive, and arrest the untermensch, who struggles violently. At least that’s one detained, but how many more tens of thousands (or more) are still out there? What, anyway, will happen to that one? A suspended sentence for attempted robbery? Only a wall, and a squad, will eliminate that sort.

I know that underground station, the District/Circle Line station at Earl’s Court. In bygone days, mid-1970s and up to mid-1980s, I would go there from time to time, then walk to the now-defunct and disappeared Kensingston Rifle and Pistol Club, then located in a hidden place (unseen from the street) behind a caravan sales place at the junction of Warwick Road and Cromwell Road. The site is now yet another Tesco “superstore”.

I used to enjoy going there. Good company. Just me and my Browning. Actually, the other members were OK, if hardly the life and soul of the party. Mostly middle-aged civil servants and unspecified professionals, plus a policeman or two (I remember one policeman whose ambition it was to be on the training team for the police; as I recall, Met. Police, but the training zone was outside London, in Essex; he wanted to get paid for doing his hobby, in effect). The actor, Peter Wyngarde, was there too.

At the clubhouse bar, I used to drink rum and pineapple, mostly, but the secretary had bought a job lot of old Carlsberg Special Brew, and sold it half-price, so sometimes that as well or instead of.

Blair’s and Major’s kneejerk anti-gun laws killed off pistol and rifle clubs like that, but at least we no longer have gun crime! Oh, no, wait…

In the American phrase, “what a cuck!“… Tice really is.

If that Nigerian waste of space props up Starmer-stein, then she will be left with three MPs and a dog next time round; she will be gone anyway by then, though.

In the short-term, therefore, the matter will be decided by the side that can keep on delivering warheads onto significant targets.

There must be some way for Russia to eliminate that troublesome Khazar.

Whatever the facts re. damage to those bases may be in reality, the overriding fact is that the actual war Iran-Israel will continue regardless.

The Israeli Jews (?) are out of control. Gaza is the obvious, but not the only, example.

If Iranian missile launches continue, will the Israelis, perhaps starting to run out of ground-to-air missiles, then prioritize the defence of Tel Aviv etc, moving missiles to those areas from perceivedly less important places? Hard to say at present.

As said, that may or may not be true, but in any event will not change the basic dynamics of the Iran-Israel war that Israel, after all, started recently. All that matters is how many missiles each side has.

If Netanyahu was, for once, telling the truth when saying a day or two ago that Iran still has 27,000 missiles (some sources give figures as low as 2,000), many too advanced to be easily intercepted, and if it is also true (as many claim) that Israel is running out of anti-missile missiles, then those claimed 27,000 Iranian weapons will be able to reduce Tel Aviv and other urban areas in Israel/Occupied Palestine to rubble, akin to the devastation which the Israelis have wrought in Gaza.

Ah. Another “volunteer” is escorted to his transport, waiting to take him to the frontline killing fields. So Yvette Cooper, the would-be dictator, Labour Friends of Israel puppet, and expenses fraudster, currently posing as Home Secretary, will probably ban Palestine Action. Pretty silly.

For one thing, this seems to have been decided not because a couple of activists vandalized RAF planes by daubing graffiti, but because they have made the RAF, the woman “commander” of that base, SERCO (who apparently provided the outsourced and in fact non-existent “security”, no doubt at a high price), and the Government, look very very silly.

Had there been even one dozy military policeman on duty and doing his duty, the protesters could have been told to get lost, or been arrested before they got anywhere near those planes.

This was not “terrorism” but fairly standard protest of the “action directe” type. The action that makes sense would be to actually have proper security on Britain’s few remaining RAF bases, and not to label a small protest group “terrorist”; which will, in any case, only drive the situation underground, I should imagine.

In the 1930s, both the Soviet Union and National Socialist Germany allowed tourism, in the case of Germany free individual travel as well as group tours, in the Soviet Union mostly escorted and tightly-monitored group travel. Where they differed more was in the reverse situation: the German authorities were happy to let their citizens travel, knowing that few if any countries in the world would eclipse Germany under Hitler in terms of lifestyle, facilities etc. In the Soviet Union, of course, only the approved few were allowed out to tour foreign countries.

Good grief. Shocking. Even worse than I should have imagined.

British/English people, most of them, are not having children. Those that do have children are restricting the number to one or two, for the most part. Not enough. Below replacement-level.

We need to have a bloc, however small, of English ethno-national people, even if most of them are “non-political”— that does not really matter, in the big scheme of things. A basis for the foundation of a later people who in turn can be a foundation for a super-race, a quantum-leap in human evolution.

When I lived in Devon and Cornwall (both, first in a large country house in Cornwall, then in a farmhouse in Devon), I would see badgers at night quite often; sometimes, on the Devon side of the Tamar, I would drive down an almost unused single-track lane at night which was a back-lane off a back-lane. Badgers would be there, unafraid of the car because they rarely saw one, and would mass ahead of the car, about ten at a time. I would have to wait until they deigned to move aside. Lovely creatures. I cannot understand why backward cruel people sometimes hunt and kill them, but then Marx did talk about “rural idiocy“…

Exactly right, as I have blogged both recently and in the past. We know that that will not happen, though.

As usual, the (Israeli) Jews thought they were so clever making that sneak attack on Iran, but now look— not only have they not (yet?) subdued Iran, but Tel Aviv, their “window on the world” and second-largest city, lies in ruins, much of it anyway. Tourism is dead, investment is dead, trade and commerce is all but dead, and Iran still has thousands, perhaps tens of thousands, of missiles, and untold numbers of drones, while Israel is running out of defensive missiles, we are told.

The damage is so bad that anyone photographing it, or posting photos online, is subject to arrest.

Meanwhile, those Jews who can, are fleeing.
