It now goes without saying that, on those figures, Starmer-stein would lose his own seat.

Ha ha. System mouthpiece Andrew Marr once again comes out to bat for Blair-Brown Labour.
Apart from puffing Gordon Brown’s premiership, 16+ years on, Marr says as little as possible about “Harriet Harperson” and nothing at all about the real concerns of millions of British people. His list of issues mentioned did not even include mass immigration, which is tearing this country apart.
Actually, if you want to use the hackneyed “traitor” gibe, there are few better candidates:
An enemy of the British people.
Incidentally:
“Regarding his political affiliations, he was formerly a Maoist and a member of the Socialist Campaign for a Labour Victory, a left-wing pressure group founded by Labour Party members, now known as the Alliance for Workers’ Liberty. His interest in Mao Zedong began as early as age eleven, when he gave fellow Craigflower School students copies of the Little Red Book that he had requested and received from the Chinese embassy.[12][13] His affinity for Maoism continued into his time at Cambridge, where Marr says he was a “raving leftie” who acquired the nickname “Red Andy“.
A Maoist as a university student, so as late as 1978 (Mao died in 1976).
Does not say much for Marr’s political judgment.
It is one thing to be a “Maoist” aged 11, as Marr was, or thought he was —I too had two “little red books” (Quotations from Chairman Mao Tse-Tung, and On People’s War by Lin Piao) given to me when I was a similar age, in my case in 1967 in Australia— but it is surely different when the person is a hopefully more mature 18-21, and in 1977 or even 1979. Incredible…
In normal circumstances, Keir Starmer’s appointment of Gordon Brown as his special envoy on global finance and Harriet Harman as his adviser on women and girls would be seen by Labour MPs as sensible. Tapping the wisdom of the party’s elders to solve important problems would be…
[“In normal circumstances, Keir Starmer’s appointment of Gordon Brown as his special envoy on global finance and Harriet Harman as his adviser on women and girls would be seen by Labour MPs as sensible. Tapping the wisdom of the party’s elders to solve important problems would be viewed as competent if dull technocratic government.
However these are not normal circumstances for the Prime Minister. His MPs see him as responsible for yesterday’s electoral catastrophe. He indeed has insisted he does take full responsibility.
And that is why the appointments are in fact incendiary. Because they are seen as – at best – irrelevant to the crisis faced by the government, and for many MPs and ministers they are provocative, an insult, a manifestation – in the words of one minister – “that he simply doesn’t get it.”
This is what one senior and influential member of the government told me:
“The Harriet and Gordon thing and his Guardian article [in which he said the government should neither move left or right] has annoyed Labour MPs even more. It’s tone deaf. I think people give him until Monday to actually show he gets it or he’s done.”
To be clear, this minister would often try and defend the PM. Not any more. And that’s not altogether surprising, given that few Reform voters are likely to say “I was thinking of voting for Nigel Farage but I’ve changed my mind now that Keir has tapped Gordon to create an international off-balance-sheet finance facility for defence spending.”
Another minister told me that the preference of MPs and Labour’s members would be for Starmer to stay and turn around the performance of the government, but they were increasingly doubtful he was capable of doing this.
This minister’s mood, and that of his colleagues, he said, “was increasingly of despair”.
Perhaps the biggest problem was that Starmer “is seemingly unable to give a clear coherent sense of direction for the country.”
“Voters will forgive you many of your mistakes if you can tell them where you want to take them. But he has been incapable of doing that, and none of us know whether he ever can.”
Even those members of the Cabinet who are genuine loyalists talk about him on the basis of hypothesis and guesswork. None of them seem to actually know what makes him tick or what he wants (one told me he was planning to set out his own policies more publicly in the hope that perhaps the PM would adopt them).
In that sense Starmer seems more isolated than any prime minister I’ve ever known.
A very big test for him comes on Monday, when he is expected to give a speech that will be billed as his agenda for the rest of the parliament but is in practice a plea to his MPs to give him a last chance.
I asked a minister what MPs would need to hear to be clear that he does understand their concerns, that he “gets it”.
This was the reply. “I mean god knows because I dont think he does. It’s not anything anyone else can tell him it has to come from him.”
And that, in a nutshell, is why Starmer is in so much trouble.“]
I sense, though, that the mainstream political scribblers and talking-heads still have not quite got their heads around what is happening. It is not all about Starmer-stein. Public dislike of the bastard is certainly more focussed than is dislike of the old Lab and Con parties, but what we are seeing now is rejection of the whole LibLabCon rigged political system that has been a fixed state in the UK going back certainly to 1945 and arguably to around 1900.
If you listen to the tramline minds of Andrew Marr and his type, you may think that all that Labour has to do to recover its prestige and vote is to swap one sinister clown for another, whether it be Andy Burnham, Yvette Cooper, or even Angela Rayner. No. Just no.

Let's check in on Beatrice.

Beatrice is a four-year-old Light Sussex hen in the back garden of a retired widower in a Yorkshire village. She arrived three years ago with three other hens, brought by his daughter to “give him something to look after.” It worked. He talks to them. He pretends, to himself, that he doesn’t.
Beatrice has been busy this morning.
5.42am. Beatrice exits the coop first. She is always first. The other three hens, by long arrangement, wait. The arrangement was not agreed in writing. The arrangement is, by every working measure, in force.
5.51am. Beatrice locates a slug on the lower lavender. She eats the slug. The label on a supermarket egg box would describe Beatrice as “vegetarian-fed.” Beatrice has not read the label. The slug, by 5.52am, is no longer the slug.
6.18am. Beatrice eats a worm turned up by the man’s spade in the vegetable bed. The man is digging the bed because Beatrice has, by long observation, taught him that digging the bed at 6.15am produces worms, which produces hens nearby, which produces a small social arrangement that the man has come to look forward to.
7.04am. Beatrice eats a beetle. She eats it with the considered focus of a hen who knows that beetle protein is, by every measure, the highest-quality protein available to her, and that the beetles do not, on the whole, last long once identified.
8.30am. Beatrice lays an egg. The egg weighs 64 grams. It contains, by every available analysis: a complete amino acid profile, choline, lutein, zeaxanthin, B12, vitamin D, vitamin A, selenium, iodine, and cholesterol of the kind that the human body, contrary to forty years of dietary advice, regulates by itself. The egg is, by every honest nutritional measure, one of the most complete single foods on earth. The man eats it for breakfast at 8.45am.
10.00am. Beatrice eats the man’s vegetable peelings. Carrot tops. Cabbage stalk. The end of a leek. A small piece of stale bread. This is, in industrial poultry terms, an unauthorised diet. In actual hen terms, it is the diet hens evolved on for several thousand years before anyone thought to feed them only one thing.
11.30am. Beatrice kills a rat. It is the second rat she has killed this year. She does not eat the rat (rats are too large) but she does, with great commitment, prevent it from getting near the feed. Beatrice is, by quiet local agreement, the most effective pest-control system in the village.
1.15pm. Beatrice naps in a dust bath of her own construction. The dust bath has been positioned, by Beatrice, in the precise spot in the garden that gets afternoon sun for the longest. She did not ask the man’s permission. She did not need to.
3.40pm. The man, in the kitchen, calls her name.
Beatrice comes.
She does not come for the daughter. She does not come for the postman. She comes for the man.
Things Beatrice has, in one ordinary day, debunked:
That hens are vegetarian. They are not. They are obligate omnivores, and the supermarket “vegetarian-fed” label is, by every honest reading, a deficiency diet sold at premium prices.
That eggs are bad for you. Forty years of dietary advice, substantially walked back since 2015. Eggs are now, in most modern guidelines, considered one of the most nutrient-dense foods available.
That chicken farming is, by definition, cruel. Industrial poultry, in many cases, is. Beatrice’s life is not. The honest argument targets the system, not the species.
That backyard hens spread disease. The disease vector data points overwhelmingly at intensive operations. Beatrice’s three companions and the half a million UK households who keep small flocks are not the problem.
That eggs are a luxury. The man pays approximately £15 a year per hen in feed. He gets, in return, around 280 eggs, two dead rats, a worked vegetable bed, a dust bath in the right spot, and a small quiet relationship with a creature who comes when he calls.
Beatrice is, by every honest measure, the smallest unit of working agriculture in Britain.
She is also, by quiet local consensus, the reason the man still cooks a proper breakfast.
Eat the egg.
Be the hen.
Resource the backyard.“]

[“Rajiv Menon KC, a highly respected silk at Garden Court Chambers and a former head of chambers, is facing proceedings for contempt of court. The alleged contempt concerns a closing speech that Rajiv delivered to a jury at the Woolwich Crown Court in January 2026. The trial involved pro-Palestine activists causing criminal damage to weapons and other property at a factory in Filton, Bristol belonging to Elbit Systems, Israel’s largest arms manufacturer. Not only is this the first time in English legal history that a barrister is being prosecuted for contempt in respect of a closing speech at a criminal trial, but the procedure being used to prosecute Rajiv is wholly novel and without historical precedent.
Until this week, any publication about Rajiv being prosecuted for contempt has been prohibited by various court orders. As a result of reporting restrictions now being lifted, Garden Court Chambers is at last able to comment publicly on this matter. We have supported Rajiv throughout the proceedings, including significant numbers of our members attending court hearings at the Royal Courts of Justice.
Rajiv is independently represented by solicitors and leading counsel who have made powerful arguments about the jurisdictional legality and procedural propriety of the contempt proceedings being brought against Rajiv. Judgment is currently awaited from the Court of Appeal (Civil Division). It is hoped that the arguments being advanced will prevail, and that the proceedings against Rajiv will be swiftly concluded without Rajiv having to stand trial. Whatever the outcome, Garden Court Chambers will continue to support Rajiv.
It is important to note that the prosecution of Rajiv for contempt has wider constitutional implications. We are extremely concerned about the chilling effect on the Bar of the state seeking to criminalise barristers for their representation of their clients. Such action is bound to undermine the confidence of the public that those charged, particularly in political and controversial cases, can receive the committed representation that they would expect to be provided.“]

For what it's worth, my own view is next week will see a consensus form that Starmer needs to set out antimetable for his departure. It's clear there is now no way of putting the Genie back in the bottle. And the various candidates need an orderly way of setting out their stalls.
Just a reminder that at this point, a lot of people are working out their tactics – whether they support or oppose the West move – based on who they want to replace Keir Starmer, not on whether they want to keep this PM https://t.co/9zTD84ZVNK
A game that the LibDems have played, and before them the Liberal Party, for many decades. Default option for those unable or unwilling to support Lab or Con (and now, Reform or Green).
It really exposes the nonsense of FPTP voting that the LibDems are now in 5th place in popular polling, behind Reform and Greens/Cons/Lab, yet are predicted to come second or third in terms of seats, merely because the LibDem vote is concentrated in about 100 out of 650 seats. Thus the LDs get 50-100 seats, despite only getting, nationwide, below 15% of the popular vote.

Keir Starmer’s decision to return Gordon Brown & Harriet Harman to frontline politics shows how utterly lost he is. Why?
Because at its root the surge of Reform is a rejection of the Blairite project Brown & Harman embody.

I have had several similar nuisance visits over the past 12 years, all triggered by false reports by Stephen Silverman and others connected to the “Campaign Against Antisemitism” fake charity. Attempts to pervert the course of justice, as well as wasting police time.
That sort of thing (affecting others, at least) will probably now become more common after Starmer-stein promised Israel-lobby Jews, a few days ago, that (as during the 2024 protests) the rule of law would be partly abrogated to punish those even suspected of “antisemitism”…
In fact, the courts have said, explicitly, and repeatedly, that “antisemitism”, as such, is not a crime in England; neither is so-called “holocaust” “denial”.
There is a problem in the UK, and it is not “antisemitism”…

Yes. Exactly. As I have blogged for some time. Reform UK, Restore Britain (or Restore-allied), Greens, Islamist and other Independents. Not Lab or Con.
The thing people miss about the Zack Polanski's "Corbyn 2.0" strategy is in 2019 Corbyn still won 32% of the vote. That's a very significant pool of potential support. Especially in the context of our current political fragmentation.
People are getting seriously angry at the way this country is being run. The System parties are just not cutting it; they have failed for too long, and have been too dishonest and incompetent. People are clutching at whatever straws are available.
Of course, the “Greens” are no longer very “green”. One could scarcely imagine a policy less “green” than the near open-borders Green Party immigration policy, which is also a policy quite certain to destroy what is left of the Welfare State.

That Jew-Zionist bastard is not only plainly malicious and violent, but unable to exercise his present office (Attorney-General) properly. He also, frankly, sounds remarkably dim, perhaps surprisingly.
Incidentally, if white English people were training for civil war like the Jews (potential terrorists) shown in that TV clip, they would get raided by the police, possibly arrested and maybe charged (with conspiracy etc), but there seems to be a different and less strict legal and policing framework for Jews in the UK. They even have their own police force, complete with police cars that look almost exactly like real police cars. Anyone else trying that would be arrested.

The Green electorate will either fall apart or a lot of useful idiots will soon be pushed out and replaced by something very dark indeed. https://t.co/97flFWQWUo
The Greens have a few good ideas (i.e. ideas with which I might agree), but are mainly loonie now. At present they are between 12% and 20% in the opinion polls. It is an open question as to whether they can get to 32% (Labour’s polling at GE 2019) or 40% (Labour’s polling at GE 2017), but I should imagine not, in both cases. In fact, I should be surprised were they even to score 25% at any general election up to 2029.
As it stands presently, the Greens are looking at somewhere around 50-60 Commons seats, potentially, so not enough to be anywhere near forming a government but possibly (on a good or bad day) enough to be a very weak official Opposition.
I suppose that, a few years down the line, the LGBTQXYZ etc faction might be sidelined, and then the Greens might become a coalition of Muslims, hardcore socialists, urban pseudo-socialists, hardcore environmentalist/social justice types, and a few others, defined mainly by opposition to anything white national, English, British in any real sense, or traditional.
That “neo-Green” party might, bearing in mind the black/browning of the UK, be able to get into government, post-2029, but the UK would be on the brink of civil/social/racial/cultural war by then, and votes might not be the trump card they now are…
This is a perfect illustration of the problem facing Reform. No serious practical solutions. Just political posturing. Which works fine when you’re trying to make a breakthrough. But won’t cut it when you need to move to being a serious alternative government. https://t.co/szML6sTV9g
Reform has no real plan even to end most, i.e. “legal”, immigration, and plans to deport only those who arrive on the beaches or otherwise “illegally”. That does not cut it at all.
As for putting detention centres in Green-leaning areas, a very silly idea.
Also, with the numbers coming in now, even on the “small boats”, there would need to be places available for hundreds of thousands, i.e. 2x, 3x, 4x or more the number of prisoners in UK prisons.
Having said that, Dan Hodges and the System parties think that the way to deal with the migration invasion is to deny it is happening, deny its consequences, and cover everything up. Is that really better?

Well, I myself dropped out of school at 16 (admittedly, a fee-paying one, and my home was certainly not as hers has been described) and drifted about a bit for quite a few years before self-study led to “A” Levels, then university and a law degree, followed by the Bar, so that TV story is scarcely unique. Still, I suppose she has done well in all the circumstances, though her spoken English is slightly painful.
Anyway (not thinking specifically of that young woman), the Bar is a dustbin now, if truth be known.

“During the Nuremberg Trials, Hermann Göring gave an interview to psychologist Gustave Gilbert and said: “Of course the people don’t want war. Why would some poor farmer want to risk his life in a war when the best he can hope for is to come back to his farm in one piece? Naturally, people don’t want war. No one wants war in Russia, England, America — not even in Germany. That’s obvious. But in the end, it’s the leaders of a country who determine policy. And it’s always a simple matter to drag the people along, whether it’s a democracy, a communist state, a parliament, or a fascist dictatorship.” Gilbert objected: “But there is one difference in a democracy — the people have a voice through their elected representatives.” To which Göring replied: “That’s all well and good, but whether the people have a voice or not, they can always be brought to the bidding of the leaders. That is easy. All you have to do is tell them they are being attacked, and denounce the pacifists for lack of patriotism and for exposing the country to danger. It works the same in any country.” — Nuremberg Diary, April 18, 1946.”
Apply that to the present pro-war frenzy in the “British” Press (“Lugenpresse”/”Judenpresse”); the attempt to foment a terrible and unnecessary war between the western, some central, and some eastern European states, and Russia.

We have to improve and raise the overall intellectual level of the UK (and the rest of Europe). That cannot be done when millions of very low-level migrant-invaders are flooding in (whether “legally” or “illegally”) and breeding.
This thread details the recent sexual assaults and rapes in Britain carried out by asylum seekers.
Of course, it may be trite to refer to MPs, journalistic scribblers and talking heads etc as “traitors” and “enemies“, but then look at what they, most of them, have done for decades, and continue to do. Facilitation and promotion of the migration invasion, and the covering-up of its consequences, among many other crimes.

But why are they more despised than the Tories? Do people believe the Tories have delivered more or are less hypocritical? If so, why?
— Martin Calderbank (@MartinCald77022) May 3, 2026
If that is so, I think that I know why it is so. Such places were tribal Labour for a century or more, and now those people feel betrayed. They never expected the Con Party to help them, but they also never expected the Labour Party to stab them repeatedly in the back, or in the front for that matter.
It did not start with Starmer-stein but with Blair and Brown. Mass immigration encouraged, the demonization of the British sick and disabled, the ATOS carpetbaggers, the uselessness of police and NHS quite often. Then, also, freeloading and/or fraudulent MPs such as (to give merely a few examples) Stephen Timms, Caroline Flint (now binned), Wes Streeting, Liz Kendall, Rachel Reeves (all members of Labour Friends of Israel).

We’ve found similar in lots of our focus groups recently, combo of worries on one hand Farage maybe a British Trump, on the other slightly unexpected feedback that he’s become almost establishment. But such is people’s frustration at Government they’re willing to give it a go. https://t.co/YJcXPOMMyD
“Unexpected“? I have been predicting it for about 2 years, and proclaiming it as fact since Tice allied Reform to the Jewish lobby and Israel a while ago. Reform is rapidly becoming a System party and, now that it looks as though it may be able to form a government in 2-3 years, the Jewish/Israel lobby scrabbles to control it completely.
People are not going to vote Reform because they like or trust Reform or Farage, let alone Tice etc, but will vote Reform to hit out at both Labour and the Con Party.
System commentators live in the System Bubble and/or Westminster Bubble. They often fail to see that, for millions of people, this is not a clever little newspaper-scribblers’ game, nor a “debate” of some kind. For millions of people, this is a case of growing hatred of the way things are in this country, and that includes the System parties.
I’d broadly describe it as more a vote against Starmer (& traditional mainstream) than it was 6 months ago when there felt like more direct enthusiasm. In fact a bit like it sometimes felt getting feedback on Labour in run up to 2024, not sold but willing to try to get a change.

When I returned to the UK after a spell in Rhodesia, aged not quite 21, in 1977, I had no serious (well they were taken seriously, back then…) educational qualifications such as “A” Levels or a degree (having dropped out of school aged 16). I did not start to acquire such exam-pass qualifications until I was in my mid-twenties. However, it was very easy in those days to pick up casual/temporary low-level jobs in warehouses, factories, Post Office sorting facilities (heaving sacks of mail around) etc. You really had only to apply, in most cases. That was then.
Later, I acquired a law degree, then a Bar qualification (in fact, two, being Bar of England and Wales and the Bar of the State of New York, as well as a couple of “comity admissions” in other jurisdictions.

Sadly, no. It all has to do with some trivial storm in a teacup in a Scottish theatre.
22 July
I have just watched 22 July, a 2018 Netflix production about the 2011 massacre and bombing in Norway carried out by Anders Breivik.
Overall impression: quite well made, but very slow in the last hour [143 minutes in all].
As to Breivik and his action, I was not blogging in 2011, so have never written anything substantial about all that. I did blog about the rather similar attack which happened in New Zealand in 2019:
I disagree with the lady tweeter, but of course I would, being now 69 and markedly impecunious!
If the rubbish i Paper is right, then that is yet another reason to keep the Triple Lock…
Equally if not more seriously, that lady has apparently learned nothing from the fact that her ex-husband, one-time MP for Poole, lost his seat in 2024 (thus also depriving the lady in question of a fairly well-paid job as part of his office staff, though they were divorced long ago). She now pretends to run something called The Moderates, which I (perhaps uncharitably) think has a “membership” about the same as the number of empty bottles in her kitchen or cellar, and quite possibly no members at all.
Part of the reason Rishi Sunak did so badly at GE 2024 is because he is Indian, but another major factor (of several) was that, for one year, 2021/2022, he paused the Triple Lock, making pensioners worse off. He reinstated it before GE 2024, but by then the damage was done.
A very large proportion of the Conservative Party vote in 2024, as always in the past, consisted of people over 60. Many former Con voters, though, did not vote, or voted Reform. The Con Party has not recovered, and will (in my opinion) never recover. Abandoning the Triple Lock would hammer in the final nail.
Now, bearing in mind that the Con Party is already usually opinion-polling below 20%, imagine the reaction from the pensioner voters were the Con Party to abandon the Triple Lock; Con Party support would decline to around 15%, maybe even to 10%, and the party be all but wiped out.
The same is true of Labour, though. Labour polling is already on or nearly on life support. Getting rid of the Triple Lock would dent the surviving Labour vote very considerably. At GE 2024, 20% of voters aged 70+ were still voting Labour, as were 28% of voters aged 60-69.
So far, Reform has pledged to retain the Triple Lock, thus locking-in a good proportion of that crucial 60+ age-group vote.
Look at the Con Party. Led by a Nigerian woman (that, alone…) who is a finance-capitalist stooge completely in the pocket of the Israel/Jewish lobby, and who only has a British passport because her parents deliberately had her born in London (only staying for a few days in 1980).
Are many people going to vote Con, either at the next GE or in the 7 May 2026 local elections? I doubt it.
Well, this week a modest 5/10, but still enough to beat political journalist John Rentoul, who scored 2/10. I knew the answers to questions 1, 2, 3, 8, and 10, should have got questions 4 and 10 but did not, and my answer to question 2 was a wild guess but, to my surprise, correct. I may have dredged it up from my subconscious mind, maybe a submerged childhood memory.
Question 4 is not correct, in part of its premises anyway.

[“The claim that nobody at the heart of government — ie close to Starmer — knew Mandelson had flunked his security vetting is unravelling at a rate of knots. Starmer’s head of comms was alerted by the media last September. Sources tell me multiple folks in the Cabinet Office (where the UK Security Vetting unit is based) had known for quite some time. Cat Little, Cabinet Office Permanent Secretary, even had a copy of the UK Sec Vet January 2025 document concluding Mandelson was unfit to be US ambassador. She informed the new cabinet secretary Antonia Romeo. Soon there were about a dozen lawyers and officials crawling all over it. Such matters don’t stay secret for long in the upper echelons of Whitehall. But it seems the PM was still in the dark … until last Tuesday. Mmmmmm.”]
I agree with Andrew on this. The current popular narrative is Robbins didn't tell anyone because he believed he had his instructions from Starmer to get Mandelson in post come what may. But I still can't believe no one in No.10 was told. Regardless of the perceived "rules". https://t.co/B3BYyjxn3h
In a sense, a political-nerd/Westminster Bubble story and scandal. I cannot believe that, in public bars and golf clubs, people talk of little else, but it does tend to support the now-embedded narrative that Starmer-stein is either dishonest or incompetent, or both, which I myself have believed for several years.
I and other journalists know 7 months ago Peter Mandelson had failed his vetting. So Keir Starmer is either a Knave or a Fool > Daily Mail > https://t.co/4HsMPTrZ6I
If we zoom out, we can see he uses the same excuses, word-for-word, for why he didn't prosecute Savile or pursue rape gangs. Time and again, underlings are blamed for him supposedly "not knowing".
Seeing what's unfolding now, the bleakest explanation is Keir knew *everything*.
As frequently blogged previously, as far as the Pakistani/Muslim rape gangs are concerned, Starmer and Labour cannot afford to “offend” the voting bloc consisting of Muslims, especially, because they are now at least 6% or 8%, and moving towards 10%, of the population. By the time of the next general election (probably 2029 if elections are not “suspended” by reason of a contrived war against Russia), that ~10% bloc will be about half, maybe even two-thirds, of the Labour vote; Muslims are already at least a third of Labour voters nationwide. At present, Labour is polling at around 20%; without the Muslim voters, that would sink to 15% or lower, certainly by 2029.
At the same time, Starmer-stein himself is of course heavily pro-Jew, pro-Israel, is married to a Jewish woman, and has children being brought up as if full-Jew. He belongs to Labour Friends of Israel, and much of Starmer’s —and Labour’s— recent funding has come via Jewish links.
Starmer and his government are, therefore, being pulled in opposing directions, and are in any case incompetent and rudderless.
🚨 NEW from @Ipsos_in_the_UK: Reform lead down to 6 / Greens sustain highest score with Ipsos 🚨
Well, that translates to a Commons with about 293 Reform UK MPs (about 33 short of an overall majority), 84 Cons (very weak official Opposition), 78 Greens, 69 LibDems, 53 Lab, and 45 SNP [etc].
Once again, on those figures, Starmer would lose his own seat, a potential fact indicated by all recent (for several months) opinion polling.
One joker in the GE 2029 pack might be Restore Britain. If it stood enough candidates, it would split the “conservative-nationalist” vote, hitting Reform worst; maybe the Cons a little as well.
Restore at present does not look like it can supplant underwhelming Reform, so they might end up competing for more or less the same bloc of votes. I have little time for Reform, but it really is, at present, the only game in town if you want to wipe out Lab and Con (leaving aside the loonie new Greens, with their pro-drug and pro-mass immigration policies).
The above result, a hung Parliament, might be the best result for social nationalism: the System parties gravely and perhaps mortally wounded, and Reform unable to govern effectively without Con MP-votes. That might in turn lead to a demand for real social nationalism. As Lenin may have said, “the worse, the better“.
That opinion poll again underlines the main or central fact: people are voting against the System parties, not for either the Greens or Reform.
-/1 Reform will poll strongly and will likely be the largest party, but Greens, due to disaffected labour voting tactically to challenge Reform will likely vote Green. Nationally Reform 32%, Greens 28%, Tory 14%, LibDem 12%, Lab 8%.
If so, and as I expect, the central fact, or “big story” will be the collapse of both main System parties.
The local elections, many of which Labour tried to “postpone”, are about more than just local council seat numbers. Council seats are often training grounds for future MPs and, though mostly unpaid, do provide “expenses” of various kinds, and there is actual remuneration for those in charge of local “cabinet” briefs at the various councils. At large councils, that can add up to quite a good quasi-salary.
If Lab and Con are massively culled on 7 May 2026, that cripples their local organizations, and that has knock-on effects at the later general election (currently expected to be in 2029).
In fact, I think that only three local election leaflets have been put though my own door (New Forest area) so far: Reform UK, LibDems, and an Independent lady (the most impressive-looking candidate, arguably).
The main System parties have not put their tawdry wares on display here, so far.

Certainly, women often tend to vote based on emotional responses, or superficialities. Difficult question.
I do think that voting in national elections in the UK should be restricted to persons of 28+ years. Having said that, only about 40% or so of those under 28 vote anyway: see https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/cley905dg20o.

Whether Starmer-stein goes or stays, there will not be any general election called, because both Labour and Conservative MPs know that, should they vote, or vote in effect, for that, they will be turkeys voting for Christmas. Current polling suggests that, out of 513 Con and Lab MPs currently in place, only about 130-150 would survive a general election; only a third, maybe only a quarter of the present Lab/Con MPs would survive.

This Rwandan import, the 17-year-old son of Alphonse and Laetitia Rudakubana, was raised in a cauldron of screams, grunts, and objects hurled against walls.
He hadn’t stepped out alone in over two years. On the morning of 29 July 2024 his parents and brother simply watched him leave anyway.
Empty knife boxes littered the place. He glared through English neighbours like they were already corpses.
The signs were everywhere; the imported family ignored them, obstructed authorities, and let the monster walk free into a Taylor Swift dance class, which begs the question, they should be held accountable at the very least.
Three native English girls, Bebe, Alice, Elsie butchered. Ten more slashed and scarred for life. All because Britain imported this family from Rwanda’s chaos and pretended they could be turned into civilised locals.
The public inquiry mutters about “moral failure” by the parents and systemic breakdowns. Fine. But the root failure is national: a deliberate policy of flooding English villages with Third World imports whose cultural DNA carries violence, dysfunction, and zero loyalty to our people.
Axel Rudakubana did not spring from English soil. He arrived with it, was sheltered by it, and unleashed it on our daughters.
The family has scarpered into hiding, no doubt on the taxpayer’s dime. The neighbours endure a living nightmare.
The house is for sale like tainted goods. And still the elite refuses to say the obvious: mass immigration from incompatible corners of the globe imports incompatible savagery.
Native English children are not collateral damage in some enrichment experiment.
England belongs to the English.
Our streets, our villages, our daughters’ safety come first, before any foreign import, any asylum sob story, any diversity quota.
Hold them to account and then Deport the remnants of this family. End the importation. Reclaim our country before the next Rudakubana strikes. Nothing less will suffice.“]

Here is the father of Zionism: Theodor Herzl. There are more than 50 streets named after him in the modern state of Israel, more than any other national figure.
From beginning to end, this has been a grand farce: this is not the biblical Israel, this is not the nation of the prophets and patriarchs of old, this is not God’s chosen people nor the restoration of the House of David: that is not their star nor their banner!
They are false Jews, with a stolen land, pretending to be the “chosen ones” of a God in whom they do not believe and whom they serve even less.“]

If the police see us as the enemy, that inevitably means that they are no longer a necessary evil, but have become our enemy, have made themselves our enemy, which is sad, because many rank-and-file police are relatively well-meaning, want to keep decent order in society etc, but the fact is that they obey the orders of those who have been brainwashed by the Common Purpose cancer and Jew-Zionist “anti-racist” “training” courses.

Talking point
I happened to see again the following, a blog post I published nearly 2 years ago in 2024:
“As part of a privately funded experiment in Universal Basic Income in 2019, the Stockton Economic Empowerment Demonstration (S.E.E.D.) conducted a pilot project that gave a $500 stipend to 125 randomly selected residents for an 24-month period with “no strings attached.“[51] “
[Wikipedia]
“SEED was a Randomized Control Trial that distributed $500 a month for 24 months to 125 recipients. The cash was unconditional, with no strings attached and no work requirements, and recipients were selected randomly from neighborhoods at or below Stockton’s median household income.
Results gathered from the first year, which spanned February of 2019 to February of 2020, found recipients obtained full-time employment at more than twice the rate of non-recipients. Recipients were less anxious and depressed, both over time and compared to the control group. They also saw statistically significant improvements in emotional health, fatigue levels and overall well being. Recipients had a greater ability to pay for unexpected expenses.
People spent the SEED money on basic needs, including food (nearly 37%), sales/merchandise (22%, on home goods, clothes/shoes and discount/dollar stores), utilities (11%) and auto costs (10%). Less than 1% was spent on alcohol and/or tobacco.”
In my view, Basic Income must be the way to go, with AI and robotics impacting employment and set to do so more. The alternative to Basic Income is to have a tiny sliver of the population ultra-wealthy, a wider layer wealthy, and about 80% of the population near-destitute.“
I think that that is even more obvious in 2026.
Another talking point
“A country that has forgotten its culture, history, traditions and national heroes is doomed to extinction” [Tolstoy]
That is where the UK now is; or very close to it.
Another talking point
“Give white men a pile of bricks and they will leave you with a civilization. Give blacks a civilization and they will leave you with a pile of bricks” [Anon.].
Simplistic, of course, but true none the less. The white inhabitants of London, and many other European and North American cities, can vouch for the veracity of that.

Perhaps, after Reform UK gets into government but then fails to satisfy the needs of the British people, real social-national politics will come to the fore. We do not need universal support, nor even a majority, just a large enough minority (disciplined and equipped etc) to take over regardless of rigged System elections.

Israeli Jews did that, and much more besides, and even the Jewish-lobby organizations in the UK and other parts of the world admit (indeed, claim) that most Jews living in the UK and other countries support what the Israeli Jews are (once again) doing. Mass slaughter of civilians.

About time. For the past 12 years, malicious Jews connected with the so-called “Campaign Against Antisemitism” have been making false allegations against me, a campaign of harassment that ended with my free speech trial (2023) and sentencing hearing (2024). See:
Non-crime hate incidents (NCHIs) were UK police records for non-criminal acts perceived as hostile based on race, religion, etc.—often just tweets or speech that offended someone. Police had to investigate them.
As of today (31 Mar 2026), they're scrapped nationwide. Home…
Of course, the “CAA” Jews will still pretend that some tweets, blog posts, cartoons etc are “unlawful” by reason of the “grossly offensive” provision in the discredited Communications Act 2003, s. 127. That provision was set to be repealed, and repeal was recommended by the Law Commission (I myself am mentioned by name at the end of that Law Commission report, and thanked) but the “CAA” and other Jews involved in the repression of free speech lobbied heavily at Westminster against repeal. As a result, that bad law (very badly-drafted, and chilling of free speech) is still on the statute book.
However, it is now harder than it was for the evil and malicious “CAA” goblins to make allegations and/or to have them taken seriously or even semi-seriously by the police, Crown Prosecution Service, and Government. Consequently, the “CAA” has been forced to pursue its “Israel first” “lawfare” at its own expense, by launching private criminal prosecutions, such as that against Reginald D. Hunter, the black American comedian, and Nick Griffin, the one-time chief of the BNP etc.
In the Reginald D. Hunter case, the district judge not only threw out the “CAA” prosecution, but trenchantly criticized the “CAA” and its dishonesty and motivations. He also ordered that a copy of his remarks should be appended to all future “CAA” private prosecutions for perusal of the trial judge and any preliminary judges.
The “CAA” goblins are now seeking a High Court judicial review of that determination (presumably both the material case determination and the order to append transcript copies of the judgment to future “CAA” private prosecutions).
In the Nick Griffin case, there will be heard (I think in May) an application by the defendant to stop the prosecution from proceeding. Good luck to him and, as the Germans might say, Gott strafe die Kobolde! (“God punish the goblins!“).

The LibDems have been fortunate in having their voting support concentrated in a fairly small number of (usually leafy and affluent) parts of the UK. They still have 72 MPs. Had their support been spread more evenly over the country, they would have no MPs at all.
Incidentally, that latest opinion poll would result in a Commons with about 264 Reform UK MPs (62 short of an overall majority), 108 Cons (weak official Opposition), 92 Greens, 65 LibDems, 49 Lab, 45 SNP [etc].
What that poll says to me is that potential voters are totally underwhelmed by the poor electoral choices offered to them. They are only supporting —and not fervently— either Reform or Green because the other choices, the System parties, are so dire, so discredited, so despised and hated.

Saw three Irish Hares chasing past today, and luckily the third one stopped and stared for a few moments before scampering after the others pic.twitter.com/2wl0AkPN3Z
Though unexplained by the tweeter, this is a powerful sign in Irish folklore. According to Google AI:
“In folklore and spiritual belief, an encounter with three hares—especially when one breaks the pattern to look at you—is often interpreted as a powerful, personal sign from the “otherworld” or the universe.
The Symbolism of Three Hares
The Sacred Number: The number three has long represented divine unity—such as the Holy Trinity in Christianity, or the Maiden, Mother, and Crone in Paganism.
The Infinite Cycle: Because the motif often shows them in a circular chase, an encounter with three is seen as a physical manifestation of the cycles of life, death, and rebirth.
The Meaning of the “Stare”
A Personal Message: Folk belief suggests that if a hare pauses to look at you, it is “recognising” you. This is often interpreted as a call to trust your intuition or a sign that a major transformation is coming “softly at first, then all at once”.
A Call for Stillness: Spiritual interpretations of hares pausing suggest a need for internal stillness before taking a decisive action in your life.
Summary of Interpretations
Detail
Symbolic Meaning
Encountering Three
Unity, the Trinity, or a complete cycle of life/time.
The One that Stops
A specific message for you; a break in the “infinite loop”.
The Direct Stare
Recognition from the spirit world; an invitation to use your intuition.
Running Off
The fleeting nature of luck or a sign to follow a “new path”.
I wonder how such traditions started, presumably thousands of years ago.

If I wanted to live in a non-European backwater, and could choose, it would be somewhere like Rio, or the Caribbean, not the Middle East, certainly not the Arabian/Persian Gulf, and certainly not Dubai.
I suppose that Dubai, if it had Jews, and Jewish money as well as Arab, would be some kind of globalized template for UK society in the eyes of the likes of Richard Tice (Isabel Oakeshott’s personal partner), maybe Farage, and others in the leadership of Reform UK.
That is why Reform UK can only be a means to an end (destruction of the Labour and Conservative parties); in any other way, Reform is a dead end, a fact which will only become obvious to the British people after it forms a government (assuming, as I do, that that will happen in 2-3 years).
Incidentally, I now see that Isabel Oakeshott is International Editor at the online-only “Talk TV” platform, where (according to Wikipedia) her salary is £250,000 per year (there is no personal income tax in Dubai). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Talk_(streaming_service)#Change_to_TalkTV
Talk TV, owned by a Rupert Murdoch company, is so amateur that it reported, inaccurately (and the lie may still be up on the Internet), that I was “jailed” after the malicious Jewish-lobby “Campaign Against Antisemitism” [“CAA”] pressure group cabal (a volunteer arm of the Israeli Embassy in London) managed to procure a criminal prosecution of me a few years ago (2023; sentencing was in 2024).
In fact, I did not even get a suspended sentence, just a brief “community order” (basically, a few hours of discussions with a probation lady, about 5 hours altogether) and a fine (some internet sites “reported” that I had been sentenced also to do “community service”, i.e. slave labour. No, I was not).
For the truth about my trial and its aftermath, a rather more accurate account than you will see on rubbish platforms such as Talk TV, see:
Talk TV also hosts, occasionally, the one-time notorious Internet troll Stephen Silverman from the “CAA” (he grandly terms himself “Head of Investigations and Enforcement”), who is always whining about “antisemitism”. He used pseudonyms to target anti-Israel tweeters (almost all women). A very nasty individual.
I call it the “does anyone actually watch?” Talk TV.
UPDATE from Dubai as the sun goes down. Busy! Iftar soon! Gorgeous evening. For now, all strangely normal. Who knows what tonight will bring? Thank you @modgovae pic.twitter.com/6U0p8zh4z6
She seems to think that wonderful: a fairly underwhelming promenade, evening sun, a few palm trees, a few cafes, tall buildings and a marina nearby. There are worse places in this world, yes, but frankly I cannot see anything so great there.
I see you've realised you've got to stick to the government narrative or you can end up in trouble.

Why have the Iranians spent years not building up an air defensive capability? They know what the Israelis are like, and what their capabilities are. This is criminally negligent, as is the failure to provide the urban populations with hardened shelters.

Not if you have no investments. I have none, and if the UK financial outlook becomes gloomy, all the better for social national revolution somewhere down the line.

European civilization has more than one enemy.
The US and Israel have launched new strikes on eastern, western, and southern areas of Tehran, the ISNA news agency reported. TASS has compiled the key developments in the Middle East conflict:https://t.co/P9acoDMO6epic.twitter.com/KrbSxsWXOC
A Russian Emergencies Ministry aircraft has arrived from Egypt to Moscow with over 80 Russians, who left Israel via the land border, on board, a TASS correspondent reported:https://t.co/6umKrsjgBO
One good thing may come out of the Zionist-instigated American attack on Iran: the USA and others will not be sending so many missiles etc to “Ukraine” (the Kiev regime).

The Israeli Jews up to their usual tricks— bombing schools and hospitals.
According to a report from Hebrew 12, the Israeli military cabinet has informed the army that Iran is just warming up and escalating the war. The missile strikes will intensify, and there's no end in sight yet.

I wonder whether the Iranians have saboteurs embedded. The Iranians are of course Shia, Kuwaits Sunni, but it might not be ideological; could be mercenary, if it was sabotage at all.
One troubling thing starting to emerge is that the Iranian drone strikes are proving more effective than military planners expected at the start of this conflict. They are much harder to detect and neutralise than Iran's ballistic missile capability. And much easier to produce.
One other thing about Keir Starmer's increasingly hopeless vacillation over the Iranian attacks on UK targets. It's obviously bad enough in its own right. But Vladimir Putin is sitting and watching this. What signal are we currently sending to him.
For once, I have a word of faint praise for Starmer-stein. After all, why should the UK join in (yet again) on the Jewish/Israeli side. As for “British base was attacked“, those bases now serve NWO/ZOG “American” interests, not those of the British people.
👀Looks like Iran has hit the oil facilities at Ras Tanura. Very big deal. Ras Tanura is not just the world's biggest oil export terminal. It's an iconic site that goes back to the very birth of Saudi as a petrostate. Here's something I wrote about it in Material World👇 https://t.co/aAuHc4xjP2pic.twitter.com/qw6MrhWmzL
Ah. “Saudi Arabian” oil (and gas). Discovered by Europeans and European-descended Americans. Extracted by Europeans and Americans. For a long time, refined by Europeans and Americans. Transported across the oceans by Europeans and Americans. Consumed mainly by Europeans and Americans. In another century, the Saudis will not be arrogantly visiting the cities of Europe and the USA, ostentatiously flaunting their unearned wealth. They will be back on their camels, and probably living in tents again. The same goes for the Gulf Arabs in general.
The thing about RAF Akrotiri is that it's not just another base, it's technically a British Overseas Territory like Gibraltar or the Falklands. Iran is attacking British sovereign territory. https://t.co/Q6xB6IxLBw
No. Reform UK could have won at Gorton and Denton if it were social-national, rather than a farrago of pseudo-“libertarian” finance-capitalist nonsense and worship of money, and also worship of Israel and the UK Jewish lobby. Also, it could have won if more English voters in that constituency had actually bothered to turn off the TV, and had got off their rear ends, and had voted. Also, had Farage put in more walkabout time there.
That said, the by-election result is most significant for the fact that Labour was trashed and trodden down. The fact is that Reform UK, despite its flaws, is still riding high, up to 30% in opinion polling, with both Con and Lab as low as 15%. Gorton and Denton may have rejected Reform UK, but Reform is still on track to gain hundreds of MPs in other areas at the next general election.
Stray thought
I was just reminded that the distance from Tel Aviv to the border of Gaza is a mere 47 miles, almost exactly the distance from my one-time (2002-2008) barristers’ chambers in Exeter to my (leased only, sadly) country house on the Cornish side of the Tamar. Once or twice, in emergencies, I managed to go door to door in only 30 minutes (on the dual-carriageway of the A30 for most of the journey but including single-track lanes and, in Exeter, traffic and traffic-lights).
It's crystal clear from the Hegseth press conference the United States has no coherent mission objectives or strategy. It's essentially bomb, see what happens, hope the Iranians rise up in some undefined way.
