Saturday quiz

This week, I scored 7/10, thus again beating political journalist John Rentoul, who scored 5/10. I did not know the answers to questions 1, 6, and 7.

Inexorably, the war moves towards total war. The Russian side cannot tolerate forever the continual escalation.

Ukraine (Kiev-regime) is running out of soldiers. One can see why.

Hard for the Jews (in Israel) to continue to present themselves as perennial “victims” when advanced jet aircraft supplied by or paid for by the American taxpayer mercilessly attack Arab real victims, who have no means of self-defence at all.

Comment about Starmer’s latest speech. I agree with the extract quoted by Rentoul but, having said that, one could say that “Labour” is no longer “socialist” or even broadly “social” (politically) and is (just like the “Conservatives”) also completely out of touch.

Both System parties, and both entirely in the pocket of the Jewish-supremacist lobby.

Import the uncivilized non-white world (and allow the non-whites to breed prolifically, and also fail to control them) and you import these sorts of social problems.

Not that all such problems are caused by non-whites, but most are. About 90%, even though the non-whites are “only” about 20% of the UK population, and about 40%-50% (?) of the London population.

The Eastern European states, and the poorer EU states generally, love the EU for its financial largesse, the redistribution of wealth from the “old EU” to the “new EU”. Ireland, the Baltic states, Poland, Romania, Bulgaria, Greece, etc. For the larger, longer-membership, western and central European states, the wealthier ones, the EU is disastrous. UK (until recently), France, Germany, Austria, Belgium, Netherlands; also Sweden, Denmark etc.

There is also the problem of non-white migration-invasion.

The original EEC/EC was not so bad — relaxed trade and travel, even relatively easy residence and work—. It worked because the original EEC populations were closely-related northern European nations, and because it was primarily a trading bloc, not an ever-expanding political project.

There was no non-white migration-invasion, because Libya under Gaddafi, Morocco, and Algeria all stopped Africans from coming across the Mediterranean; also, the NWO had not yet destabilized the Middle East and Afghanistan. Even the Roma Gypsies were “imprisoned” behind the so-called “Iron Curtain” until 1989, and so unable to travel to the UK and other parts of Western Europe.

In the long-term, perhaps even medium-term, Israel is doomed.

The “musicians” are still playing.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/health/article-12059245/Inside-1billion-AstraZeneca-compensation-battle.html.

Britain’s compensation bill for victims killed or maimed by AstraZeneca‘s Covid jab could theoretically exceed £1billion, MailOnline can reveal.

Around 90 families are currently pursuing legal action against the pharmaceutical titan, claiming the jab was essentially a defective product.

Lawyers representing the claimants believe that some of the cases could be worth up to £20m in compensation, which is roughly 160 times more than the £120,000 Government support available. They hope to be able to prove that the vaccine was to blame in court.

[Daily Mail]

The woman who developed that “vaccine” was not only applauded by the stupid rabbits at Wimbledon but also got some kind of official “honour”, I seem to remember.

The “trans” nonsense continues. What a loony!

The Daily Mail refers to the individual as “her” and “she“, and also makes spelling mistakes (but then, the “journalist” scribbling it is one “Vivek Chaudhary”…).

I think that many people, even today, will be honest if they find a purse or wallet. In the past few years, I myself have found two or three. One was a kind of wallet I happened to see in a clifftop parking place. I was there, unusually, early one morning, not long after dawn. I saw the item in the half-light, was curious, so went to pick it up.

The wallet contained about £50 in cash, I think also a debit card, a couple of other bits and pieces, and a student railcard in the name of some girl.

I went home, thinking that the girl must be fairly local, in view of the station which had issued the railcard, only about 8 miles from that car park. Her surname was unusual, so I called the few telephone numbers (landlines) with the same name. Only one answered. An old lady, so no-go.

In the end, I drove to the local police station (its desk manned by an old fellow, a civilian support person) and gave in the wallet. I made the point that there was a large college near the rail station which issued the card, so the girl was almost certainly one of the students there.

I hope that the girl got back her money and the rest. As for what a young girl aged 16-18 was doing in a clifftop car park and (presumably) after dark, and how she managed to lose her wallet, maybe it is better not to speculate…

The second wallet was larger, newer, and packed with both money and cards (an incredible number, literally dozens, neatly and individually carefully tucked into pockets), and had been left in a shopping trolley at Waitrose. I took it in to the help desk, and a member of staff took it from me. Probably the woman who lost it got it back soon afterwards. I imagine that she must have called the store in a panic.

Not that I promise to be a good citizen if someone leaves an attache case containing a million pounds somewhere, which amount of cash could not, in my view, be the property of any honest person. No, the (so far, hypothetical) million pounds stays with me, in that event.

The Conservative Democratic conference. Hall almost empty. Rows and rows of empty seats. The photos show no more than 100 in the audience. In fact, I think that I addressed a larger audience than this one when I spoke at the London Forum in 2017.

Hard to judge the age demographic accurately from the photos, but apart from a few younger persons under 30 (possibly students), and a few youngish blonde women (possibly journalists), the audience seems to have been predominantly grey-haired or bald. I should say, at a guess, that there were more people over 70 than there were people under 50.

“They” always love to play the “victim”, even when victimizing others. Not only in the Middle East; in the UK (etc) as well,

Leaving aside the migration-invasion, this is about the gradual censoring of scenes and names in film and TV, and in particular about one film.

In The Dambusters, made in 1955 but set in 1943, the companion dog of the raid commander, Guy Gibson, is called (as he was in real life), “Nigger” (he was a black Labrador), but in recent years the film has been altered so that Nigger is referred to as “Trigger“. In fact, I happened to see a few minutes of the film last week on some channel or other and, indeed (in the subtitles too) “Nigger” had become “Trigger”. See also https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/The_Dam_Busters_(film)#Censorship.

Now the poor dog’s grave is going to be disturbed so that a pack of unwanted non-European migrant-invaders will not be offended. What an absolutely pitiful country we have become.

I am scarcely a Trump partisan, but he is the best of the potential candidates in the USA right now, and of course far better than corrupt and demented Biden.

Abolished“? Yes, you could call it that…

The funniest thing was when, in 2012, little William Hague opined on TV news that Assad would be gone within days.

I have found, in past years, that many police personnel are actually completely ignorant of the law, and vastly overestimate their own powers. A very bad combination, especially when Jew-Zionist organizations easily bamboozle the police and even CPS as to both what the law is and what the police etc should do and can do.

People are turning away from much of the propaganda on the msm platforms. In fact, I understand that many younger people (meaning under-35s in this case) rarely watch TV now, and even fewer bother with the news and talking-head shows often earnestly tweeted about on Twitter.

If you took your ideas from the Twitterati, you would think that BBC Question Time, one of the most-watched current affairs shows (perhaps the most-watched), is of moment to the entire UK population whereas, in reality, the usual audience is estimated to be between 1-2 million. Out of maybe 70 million persons in the UK.

The biggest audience for QT was in 2009, when Nick Griffin was on (but then ambushed and “lynched”)— 8.3M viewers. Another sizeable audience, also in 2009, was about the MP expenses cheating scandal— 3.8M viewers. Those two facts show the direction of travel, surely?

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Question_Time_(TV_programme)#Audience_figures

All part of a long-term plan to reduce the UK to far lower standards of living, and packed with non-whites as well. I worked that out in the mid/late 1970s, when I was only about 20. People laughed at the idea. Now? Well, they are not laughing at the collapse of the NHS, shortage of housing, low pay etc, but most —still misled by the msm— do not connect the dots. Causation is misunderstood. The blame is placed on “Covid”, on “Putin”, on “Ukraine invasion”, on “climate change”, and so on.

Ukraine (meaning the Kiev regime) is running out of road militarily. Above all, its morale, sky high last summer, seems depressed now, and many recruits have to be forcibly pressed into service.

Soon, it will be impossible to write or speak about anything that does not follow the System narrative in the UK. There have already been dozens of faked-up “terrorist” trials in relation to other, including domestic, groups. Juries now are so supine, they are almost no guarantee of liberty. They just rubberstamp the prosecution.

Oddly enough, the Kiev-regime online and msm propaganda continues to persist with the “Russian soldiers ran away” story even though Russian forces have now taken Bakhmut/Artyomovsk. So who “ran away”? Or “withdrew”, in the more polite term?

Old sins cast long shadows. The Israelis can never cleanse their hands of the blood shed by them in and after (in some cases even before) 1948: ethnic cleansing, mass executions of villagers, theft of houses, apartments and land, and now the attempt to “settle” Jew fanatics from the USA, UK, Australia etc in the remaining Arab areas, displacing the remaining Arab communities

The Israel/Palestine situation is a Gordian Knot…

I heard that idiot on the car radio this morning, on BBC Radio 4 Today Programme. Dishonest deflecting but which was not even intelligent deflection. A characterless drone. Just looked him up on Wikipedia: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Greg_Hands. Background suspiciously cosmopolitan.

This happened also in the First World War— Russian generals and others all conspiring against, and fighting, each other. In the Second World War it did not happen, because Stalin kept a very firm control over the Stavka, the armed forces generally, and the intelligence services, and everyone, from high to low, was —with reason— afraid of his wrath.

If that is not tough talk, what would be?

Zelensky may be as much of a figurehead or even puppet than he is a leader as such, but he now is the face of the Kiev regime. If Russia can eliminate him, take him off the board, that is as good, or would be, as destroying a whole army. Zelensky is the lynch-pin of this situation. He is the one arranging for shipments of free armament, ammunition, other supplies and, crucially, actual money from the West, in huge amounts.

Senseless, but what more does one expect from the sort of boneheaded generals usual in the US Army? I have to admit, he looks better on paper: see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Mark_Milley#Early_life_and_education.

Polemical and a little one-sided, but he has a point…

Diary Blog, 4 May 2023, with more thoughts about freedom of expression, and about the new Public Order Act 2023

Morning music

[the Firebird, from a Palekh lacquer box]

From the newspapers

https://inews.co.uk/news/essex-pub-displayed-golliwog-dolls-beer-supplies-2314995?ico=most_popular.

A pub in Essex that had its collection of golliwog dolls defended by Home Secretary, Suella Braverman, has shut down after suppliers cut off their beer supply.

[from the i newspaper]

Very typical of our times: the System repressing freedom of expression not only by opposing individuals politically but also by attacking their personal, family, and business life. It happened to Laura Towler, Sam Melia, and Mark Collett of Patriotic Alternative. Their personal bank accounts were shut down, not by the State directly, not by the courts, but by the unilateral decision of each individual’s bank. Meaning by malicious individuals in those banks, sitting in positions where they had the executive power to do what they did.

In the same way, one sees on Twitter the Jew-Zionist element very keen to contact the employers, or professional regulators, of anyone tweeting supposedly “antisemitic” tweets. See, for example, my own experience of 2014-2016, and up to the present day: https://ianrobertmillard.org/2017/07/09/the-slide-of-the-english-bar-and-uk-society-continues-and-accelerates/.

Reverting to the pub golliwogs story, obviously Heineken and Carlsberg should both be boycotted, but that is mere gesture-politics, really.

This is no trivial story, but goes to the root of what was once, but is no more, a “free society”.

One has to ask, at what point does the repression contra freedom of expression in this society invite direct action against those repressing free speech?

https://inews.co.uk/opinion/most-draconian-assault-free-speech-living-memory-now-law-2313273?ico=most_popular.

The most draconian assault on free speech in living memory is now law.

The Public Order Act was given royal assent and became law yesterday. Today, the Government will activate powers which prevent demonstrators from engaging in all kinds of activities.

[the Act] introduces Serious Disruption Prevention Orders (SDPOs), a kind of protester Asbo, which, if they’re imposed, can demand the individual report to authorities, or be banned from meeting certain associates, or be blocked from campaigning online.

The House of Lords did what it could to kick back. The original text of the bill allowed the courts to impose an SDPO even if the person had never been convicted of a crime, a truly unthinkable Orwellian proposition. The Lords killed it. They also killed a power to impose a 24/7 GPS monitoring tag on those who received a SDPO.”

[from the i newspaper]

Still, it is easy enough in these times for the political police, or malicious special-interest groups, such as the so-called “Campaign Against Antisemitism”, to conspire to get someone convicted on some trumped-up minor charge (the Jew-Zionist fanatics have been doing that for years, as with the Alison Chabloz prosecutions), after which that individual will now perhaps be made subject to one of these “Serious Disruption Prevention Orders”, which in their effect are not really any different to the way in which the Second Chief Directorate of the KGB, prior to about 1989, controlled and regulated minor dissidents in the Soviet Union.

Of course, the i newspaper people will have been all in favour of the repression exercised against the golliwog pub owners, while paying lip service to freedom of expression re. the new Public Order Act.

It is that hypocrisy that prevents so many “free speech” campaigns being effective, as with Toby Young and his “Free Speech Union”, which seems to take the view that free speech is all-important except when Jews complain about the free speech of those opposing Israeli or Jewish interests. The “FSU” never said a word in defence of Alison Chabloz or others; neither has it ever said one word in defence of my rights.

Come to think of it, I do not recall the writer of that opinion piece, Ian Dunt, supporting my free speech rights. In fact, rather the reverse, if I recall aright. One can guess why, of course…

Diary Blog, 28 April 2023, with a few thoughts about the upcoming Coronation

Morning music

From the newspapers

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/royals/article-12022491/King-Charles-Coronation-ceremony-sees-key-roles-given-diversity-trailblazers.html.

We may be witnessing the beginning of the end of the British Monarchy.

The odd thing is that, as opinion polls —and simple observation— show, most of the blacks and browns (certainly those under 60) have no time for, or interest in, the Monarchy.

The same is true of the metropolitan LGBTQXYZ crowd, as seen on Twitter.

Yet Charles is bending over backward in the attempt to appeal to those and other “diverse” groups.

In other words, Charles is trying to appeal to those who either hate him and the Monarchy (a relative few), or to those (the vast majority) to whom the Monarchy is a total irrelevance.

It will no doubt be argued by the msm that Charles is being brave and principled. To me, that whole project comes over as weak and ineffectual. As does he.

As blogged in the past, I have nothing much against Charles himself, whom I once met at a small diplomatic reception in Kazakhstan (in 1996). He has championed some issues of importance, including matters of architecture, town planning, animal welfare, and the environment. He may not always have been successful in that —a chequered picture—but he has tried. I think that that cannot be denied.

It must be hard simply to behave decently when you are told by pretty much everything and everyone around you since birth that you are wonderful, special, way above others etc.

At least Charles does try. Look, by way of contrast, at his brother, Andrew… [and see https://ianrobertmillard.org/2019/08/11/the-jew-epstein-and-prince-andrew-the-british-royal-family-has-another-scandal-maybe-its-time-to-just-get-rid-of-them/].

However, this Coronation, far from boosting Charles, may well prove to be the start of his —and the Monarchy’s— downfall. He has invited the head of Sinn Fein to attend, yet not members of families close to the Monarchy for decades, even centuries (and not some individuals close to the late Queen).

The whole thing seems to be a “woke”, fake-“diverse” circus of nonsense grafted onto the comfortable and customary mediaeval and Victorian base.

Maybe that is why Meghan Mulatta is not going to attend, because she realized that she would just be one more “diverse” exhibit in the show.

The last Coronation, in 1953, was (apparently) eagerly awaited by much of the population. Sales of then-still-new- TV sets exploded, because it was going to be the first televised Coronation. Much of the population was engaged and, it seems, felt involved, even if, inevitably, only as background chorus and spear-carriers.

Now? Well, writing this piece, I actually had to look up the date of this Coronation, to remind myself (Saturday, 6 May 2023). I noticed one of the Readers’ Comments to that Daily Mail report: the comment said “I am being swept along in [sic] a wave of apathy“. Despite the error, surely correct. I have not yet spoken to anyone who has mentioned the Coronation in any way, positive or negative. Public interest is at or near rock-bottom.

I have blogged before to the effect that what will kill the Monarchy is not hatred, anger, or even principled dislike, or ideological opposition. No, what will kill it (and is killing it) is apathy as much as anything; the fact that the Monarchy, the Royal Family, their activities etc, have just no connection to, or relevance for, most of those living in the UK today.

For all the “diverse” nonsense, most of the non-whites, indeed most of the non-Brits, are simply not interested. Even in the white (British) “community”, there is a demographic split, most of the over 65s not only interested in the Monarchy but supportive of it; as for the under-30s, not. I think that a recent opinion poll said that about two-thirds of the under-30s would like to get rid of the Monarchy. Again, though, the reason is not anger (as in England in 1649, France in 1789 or Russia in 1917) but simple apathy and lack of interest both in the Monarchy and in getting rid of it.

The other glaring fact is the sheer struggle so many now have simply to pay bills, keep a roof over the head, children and companion animals fed, and so on.

The Monarchy will go at some point but , in the much-used phrase of Nevil Shute, “not with a bang but a whimper”.

Marina Purkiss

“In one astonishing moment, she raised the recent renaming of Black Boy Lane in Haringey, north London. Believing she had found a winning line, she insisted that ‘If you had a street named White Trash you might want to rename it’. Why Purkiss considers ‘black boy’ to be a slur on a par with ‘white trash’ was never made clear.

[Spiked magazine]

Marina Purkiss, a “woke” idiot who thinks that civil rights or human rights such as freedom of expression are unimportant.

Alarming but not surprising that huge numbers of Twitterati think that she is great (and that she somehow “smashed” Jacob Rees-Mogg in that interview).

No doubt Marina Purkiss will continue to make a kind of career out of intellect-free emoting on socio-political issues. She apparently also has other, and remunerated, activity online.

Not that cost-of-living issues are unimportant. In fact, when people start to really struggle, in large numbers, that is precisely when they turn to radical and even revolutionary alternatives which may, down the line, be dictatorial and anti-free speech.

Ask not for whom the bell tolls…it tolls for thee“…

That could be the moment for social nationalism to strike. The missing element is a party or movement. At present there is none worthy of the name. However, in times of crisis and desperation, a party, movement, or individual personality may arise suddenly, out of the depths of the people and events.

Look at that crematorium drone, ordering better people than himself back to their places. The “panicdemic” really brought out numbers of self-important nobodies of that type. No more were they simple supermarket workers, shopworkers, or filling station cashiers. Oh, no! Now they were workers on the front-line of the “Covid” “emergency”, armed with powers (they thought) to order people back, forward, sideways, or to wear muzzles etc, just like instructors dealing with slow-minded military recruits. I had a few clashes with that sort in 2020-21. How they must have hated having to return to stacking shelves…

You still see anti-Hitler propaganda about the alleged euthanasia of some medical “hopeless cases” in the late 1930s. Not everything done in the Reich was correct, but what was done of that type was pretty much on a par with what was happening in the UK, USA and elsewhere. The Jewish lobby (mainly) screams endlessly about “the evils of Nazism“, when in fact the same was happening across Europe and North America, but you never or rarely hear about that.

As for a situation such as that in the last few years in the UK, even the Jewish lobby can hardly blame Hitler and the NSDAP for that

By reason of the repression of free speech already well-advanced in the UK, I am “not allowed” to say what I want to say about what should be done right now…

So people will be “expected” (required?) to stay incarcerated in something akin to an open prison, albeit with cafes and wine bars (in some cases)? Presumably, also forbidden from saying or writing anything anti-“communitarian”…

From the newspapers

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11957405/Pub-landlady-defies-police-orders-puts-five-golliwogs-display.html.

A pub landlady today defied authorities and put more of her golliwog collection back on display just days after 20 of them were seized by police as part of an investigation that she and her husband had committed a hate crime.

Benice Ryley proudly placed five of the controversial dolls behind the bar of The White Hart pub in Grays, Essex, which she has run for the past 17 years with her husband Chris.

The couple, who are in their 60s, had six officers enter the pub last Tuesday and take away 20 dolls displayed on a shelf behind the bar after an anonymous complaint was made against them.

They also seized an assortment of golliwog badges and magnets that adorned the bar.

[Daily Mail].

Meaning “defied” the clown police of Essex. My own experience, from 2017: https://ianrobertmillard.org/2017/07/13/when-i-was-a-victim-of-a-malicious-zionist-complaint/.

Read that article. The Essex Police clowns are still claiming that the golliwogs they seized are “part of an investigation” into a so-called “hate crime“, which is complete nonsense. It is not unlawful to own or display a golliwog.

One of the alarming aspects of contemporary Britain is the degree to which the police are (wilfully?) unaware of the limits to their power and, indeed, jurisdiction.

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11958309/Suspected-terrorists-posing-Channel-migrants-job-keeping-safe-harder.html

Today’s revelation that suspected terrorists have entered Britain posing as small boat migrants brings a whole new context to the Channel crisis.

It was already known that hundreds of criminals had been identified among arrivals from France – raising huge questions about Britain’s porous border and the Government’s ability to protect its citizens.

Now we know that the problem is far, far worse.

The 19 terror suspects who camouflaged themselves as would-be refugees to enter the UK are known to be affiliated with some of the most murderous groups in the world, including Islamic State and the Somali Islamist insurgent group al-Shabaab.

The security services were already under pressure keeping tabs on thousands of individuals who pose an active threat in the UK.”

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/world-news/2023/04/10/ukraine-russia-war-news-putin-latest-biden-bakhmut-zelensky/

Ukraine’s air defence could crumble ‘within weeks’, according to leaked US intelligence documents.

The New York Times reported that newly leaked Pentagon documents and US officials suggest that a huge influx of munitions is needed to keep Russia’s air force from changing the course of the war.

According to one leaked document, missile stocks for Soviet-era S-300 and Buk air defence systems, which constitute 89 per cent of Ukraine’s protection against most fighter aircraft and some bombers, could be fully depleted by May 3 and mid-April.

One leaked document reportedly assessed that Ukrainian air defences designed to protect troops on the front line will be “completely reduced” by May 23.”

[Daily Telegraph]

There it is. The air defences of the Kiev regime may have “crumbled” and will be “fully depleted” and “completely reduced” within 1-5 weeks from now.

At the same time, the Kiev-regime infantry still living is suffering poor morale and huge losses.

The conclusion must be that Russia can press its advantage in the warmer weather expected soon.

Stalingrad meets Mad Max.

The above analysis is very weak re. Weimar hyperinflation. The Weimar Republic did not collapse because of hyperinflation.

The Weimar hyperinflation period was 1921-1923, but mainly summer 1922 to November 1923. In other words, hyperinflation really only existed for about 18 months.

The hyperinflation did notcollapse” the Weimar Republic, though it did destroy the savings of those who had savings, thus making the whole political situation in Germany, already unstable, more unstable. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Hyperinflation_in_the_Weimar_Republic. It did rob the Weimar Republic of authority, to be sure. People distrusted it.

The final collapse of the Weimar Republic, which stabilized to some extent in the mid/late 1920s, came about more because of the Depression, which was born outside Germany, in the USA.

Hitler and the NSDAP did not attain full State power until 1933, a decade after the end of the hyperinflationary period.

The NSDAP only garnered 2.6% of the vote in 1928. Over the several elections succeeding, that vote-share grew to 37.3% in 1932, and then to 43.9% in 1933. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Nazi_Party#German_Reichstag.

Vanity publishing

I was just looking at the memoirs written (actually, ghost-written) by some “senior” (so-called) politicians. Liz Truss’s Out of the Blue, which came out too late, after she had already been deposed, is at present selling about 200 new copies monthly on Amazon. Not very impressive, but better than Andrea Leadsom’s effort, Snakes and Ladders, which is managing a mere 20 per month.

The Jew Zelensky is somewhere between dictator and figurehead, or between figurehead and puppet, and his regime has shot or imprisoned its political opponents, closed down trade unions, and repressed free speech.

It is noticeable that, in Western news photos and footage, the Ukrainian children repatriated to Ukraine, after having spent time in Russia, always look happy and well-fed.

Why on Earth would Russia, which left Marxism-Leninism behind 30+ years ago, want to invade Western Europe (inc. UK)? How could it even try? The whole idea is ludicrous.

American memories

Idly “surfing the net”, I came across a brief obituary of a lady I had met a few times between late 1989 and early 1993, during which years I spent about half my time in the USA (mostly in New Jersey and New York City). I shall not name the lady or her family.

In 1989, I travelled with my then fiancee from New Jersey (near the Jersey Shore) to Fox Chapel, an affluent semi-rural area near Pittsburgh, Pennsylvania, we having been invited to spend Thanksgiving with a family there.

The couple who owned the large, comfortable house were in their fifties, and their daughter, aged about 25, was a friend of my then fiancee. The father of that family was a nuclear scientist, and his wife what the Americans charmingly call a “homemaker”, a much more respectful term, I think, than the Anglo-German terms “housewife” or “hausfrau”. American to the core, they had both been born and brought up in the Mid-West, but had also lived in Belgium, and had travelled very widely, to dozens of countries from Mexico to the Soviet Union.

The house, though on a semi-rural, semi-suburban road with a few other similarly-large houses, had a large hinterland, mostly not so much a “garden” as a tranche of forest; I think they said about 40 acres, where some of Pennsylvania’s millions of deer were often seen.

The lady’s husband was a tough but very decent type, very solid (in both senses), rather like a more intelligent version of John Wayne (to my European perception). He was a fan of American football, and I think that he had played football himself at college (university) level.

I admired the lady’s collection of Palekh lacquer boxes [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Palekh_miniature], and also their very American cars, his a Cadillac (I forget the model), and hers a Lincoln Town Car, probably my own favourite at the time, though I myself did not have a licence then (I only held a driving licence —a foreign one— from 1999, and a UK one from 2002).

The couple were very hospitable to me; I have always remembered them with good feelings.

I last saw the couple in Maryland, in (I think) 1992.

The lady mentioned died a few years ago, it seems, aged 85 (at that time, at least, her husband was still living). I was unaware until today, not having kept up with any of those I knew or met so long ago.

I have been struck recently by renewed realization at how transient life is in any one incarnation. We must do what we can while we are still on the Earth.

“Peak Britain” in 2023?

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11816591/How-Matt-Hancock-Priti-Patel-celebrated-news-Covid-crackdowns.html

Ensuring lockdown and quarantine rules were stringently enforced became something of an obsession for Matt Hancock and the rest of the Cabinet as Covid cases continued to spiral throughout 2021.

Leaked messages from his WhatsApp account show the Health Secretary, Boris Johnson and Priti Patel reacting to examples of police down on rulebreakers with almost childlike glee – hailing the cases as ‘brilliant’ and ‘superb’.

In another exchange, Mr Hancock and Simon Case, the UK’s top civil servant, are seen joking about travellers being forced into quarantine hotels at airports – with Mr Case calling their plight ‘hilarious‘.”

[Daily Mail]

Hancock, Priti Patel, and that useless nerd Simon Case, all deserve a good kicking at the very least. The same is true of all ministers and MPs involved in the “panicdemic” nonsense.

One of the comments of the Daily Mail readers says it all:

Emily1848, Birmingham, United Kingdom, moments ago

So now we see the contempt and actual joy with which Hancock, Patel and others felt and acted as they destroyed our freedoms and futures. All this mockery of the populations suffering at their hands, and yet they couldn’t even do their bloody jobs competently either!

Until recently, Russian people did not think of Ukraine, or Belorussia (now Belarus), or the Baltic states (the “pribaltika“), or other areas such as Kazakhstan (where I myself once lived for a year) as “foreign“, but rather as (during Soviet times) part of the same country as Russia, and/or as (since 1991) “the near-abroad“.

It goes further than that. Non-whites not only could never build our white European culture and civilization, nor its American, Australasian and other offshoots, but also are unable even to maintain what our peoples have already built.

That is the point of importance at present, as our white European and European-origined countries are swamped by non-whites. As the proportion of non-whites in the population increases, the level of the culture and civilization not only will not rise, but will start to fall; disastrously so.

You can see that everywhere now: in the UK, in Scandinavia, in the USA etc.

Is there no real Scot nationalist who can deal with the problem?

Presumably meant to write “being“, not “not being“.

Would it matter if 99.99% of the UK population were to disappear, so long as the remainder (about 7,000) were both white English/British and on a decent cultural and behavioural level? I say not.

That characterization of the 1980s is only, at best, a half-truth, I think, though I personally was not involved in ordinary (even radical) politics in that decade.

I knew people in the mid/late 1970s who belonged to the National Front and the League of St. George. Mostly very reasonable English (and a few Irish and Scottish, or other) people. The “knuckle-dragging” “skinheads” (etc) did exist (elsewhere), yes, but were a small minority.

Far right” is, anyway, just a meaningless label. “Social-national” is more accurate.

The Israeli state was born, in the late 1940s, out of ethnic cleansing, murder, torture, intimidation, theft of land and housing, in fact every kind of criminality, all carried out by Jews who were the sweepings of the ghettos, criminal gangs, prisons, and concentration camps of Europe.

The Israelis covered up much of that, and spread the largely fake “holocaust” farrago around the world to create sympathy for the Jews in Israel and elsewhere. Now the ingrained evil is coming out very obviously, to such an extent that even some Jews (Sanders being one) cannot bear what is happening.

Emily Thornberry, aka “Lady Nugee”, a porcine freeloader who has a property portfolio (with her part-Jew husband) worth £5-10 Million, and who “earns” money from renting out houses etc, in addition to the MP salary, the generous Parliamentary expenses etc.

Emily Thornberry personifies much of the problem people have with Starmer-Labour. Not just the Jewish and Israeli connections, but the overall impression (I think accurate) that so many of these Labour MPs are people not far distant in lifestyle, money, and views from the “Conservative” MPs they claim to “oppose”.

cf. Rachel Reeves, Yvette Cooper, Jess Phillips etc.

In fact, or in my opinion, the only reason Emily Thornberry joined Labour in the first place is because she had a massive chip on her shoulder from her father having abandoned his wife (her mother) and Emily Thornberry herself, and the mother and daughter then having had to live for some years in a council house (and in what is generally an affluent town, Guildford , in Surrey, which must have stung even more). See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Emily_Thornberry#Early_life.

I think that that mixture of snobbery, reverse snobbery, chip-on-shoulder resentment, and hypocrisy comes out in her pronouncements at times, such as her notorious “white van man” and “St. George’s flag” comments.

Like many people, I want the Conservative Party to be annihilated, certainly electorally (it’s a start, anyway) but, in our rigged binary electoral system, that does mean a massive Labour landslide, an “elected” Starmer-Labour dictatorship that might make that of Blair-Brown look mild.

There is no way out of this. We, the British people, have to grasp the nettle. The Conservative Party, destroyed, will lead, eventually, to the destruction also of the Labour Party, perhaps via the uprising of a new social-national party not yet in existence.

I had thought that a hung Parliament might be the best result in 2024 (if that is when the next general election comes), but now I think that the only way is to kill off 90% of the Conservative Party seats, even if at the expense of a huge Labour Party majority in the Commons.

That might also lead to extra-Parliamentary action.

Saunders is expected to examine Abedi’s connections to known extremists, including one who he was in frequent contact with in the run-up to the attack, and why he was not questioned when he returned from fighting alongside Islamists in Libya four days before the arena attack.

Within MI5, the atrocity is considered one of the darkest days in the history of the Security Service. Abedi was on the fringes of the spy agency’s radar, one of 20,000 closed subjects of interest in 2017, yet he was able to assemble a homemade bomb without his purchases or activity being picked up by the agency or police.

At the end of the day, though, if you have about 3 million Muslims in the UK, even if 99.9% are not actively pro-terrorism, that still leaves about 30,000 who are. If, however, the “innocents” are 99.8% of the whole, then about 60,000 might do, or support, terrorism in the UK. Therein lies the problem, i.e. that the UK is now a multicultural dustbin.

Yes, but what are the losses on the “Ukraine” (Kiev-regime) side? Similar? Is that why Kiev-regime goons are roaming the streets of Kiev and Kharkov in press-gangs, kidnapping those unwilling to “volunteer”?

I am sure that that idiot must be part-Jew. At any rate, a very sinister character, apparently a part-time colonel in the 77 Brigade disinformation unit of the Army Reserve. Complete mouthpiece of the NWO and ZOG.

Like Defence Secretary Ben Wallace, he only reached the rank of captain in the real Army, but now plays the field marshal from his perch at Westminster.

He seems to want war between Russia and NATO. Were that to happen, the UK might —probably would— be the target of enough Russian ICBMs to leave our still (in part) beautiful country a charred and irradiated hell-zone.

https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tobias_Ellwood.

I posted that despite hating to see that evil Jew tyrant, Zelensky, on my blog pages; I frankly cannot look at the bastard. Still, I had to post that tweet. Zelensky’s evil message must be exposed.

The fact that Ferguson, despite having wrongly predicted huge numbers of deaths from various causes since 2002, and despite having been proven wrong repeatedly during the 2020-2021 “panicdemic” (not to mention the illicit trysts with the “ho”), is still en poste, must mark him out as an embedded conspirator.

What will be the next step in the UK? An end to elections, because of (maybe) a faked-up “crisis” involving “Ukraine”, together with some new Chinese virus supposedly about to kill us all?

That might be the excuse to cancel the next general election, and to form a pseudo “National Government” of, mainly, Labour and Conservative Party drones. After all, Starmer’s Labour Party is similar to Rishi Sunak’s Conservative Party. There is scarcely enough space to slip a penny piece between them ideologically, and certainly in terms of actual policy.

Such a pseudo-national government could impose all manner of restrictions, take the UK to war, remove all free speech (that is left), and repress any social-national voices.

That is one scenario. The other, leading to the same result, would be a “Labour” landslide at the next general election. Same effect. No free speech, UK on a fake war footing, and no opposition whether official or real.

Not so much a battle between Good and Evil as a quarrel among different forms of Evil…

Exactly, or nearly, what I have been saying for years.

The digital microchip “passport” will not be brought in at once, by force, but slowly. Those who do not submit to it will gradually be squeezed out of foreign travel, then most domestic travel, then most State benefits and pensions, then any banking.

The few who keep on fighting will eventually, over several years, be marginalized, unable to travel, stay in hotels, play the lottery, have bank accounts, have jobs (any but the low-level, off-grid and paid-in-kind type of work). They will be unable to vote (for what that is worth), unable to have internet access, unable to access NHS services or other medical and dental services.

Not being able to function in mainstream society, they will inevitably fall foul of repressive laws, and will find even shelter and food hard to access, and so quite likely end up being detained in prison, or in camps disguised as “open prisons”.

The upcoming dystopian UK being planned by the evil ruling circles.

…and while making sure that the police waste much of their time “investigating” malicious complaints by Jew-Zionists about social media postings, as happened to me: see https://ianrobertmillard.org/2017/07/13/when-i-was-a-victim-of-a-malicious-zionist-complaint/; and https://ianrobertmillard.org/2022/01/15/diary-blog-15-january-2022-including-an-outline-of-the-failure-of-the-latest-jew-zionist-attempt-to-prosecute-me/.

That first one above was undertaken by Essex Police.

Revenge is a dish best served cold“, in the well-known phrase.

Worth watching.

My view as an outsider is that, in eastern Ukraine overall, and as far as one can see, there is no “Ukrainian” or Kiev-regime defence in depth, just a long long front with a belt of Kiev-regime forces along it, and then embedded defences within individual cities such as Kiev, Kharkov, Odessa etc.

If the Russian forces can break through that front and/or encircle elements of the Ukrainian defence line formations, they might be able to power on through eastern Ukraine to the Kiev area facing little heavy opposition.

For that, the Russians will need numbers, armour, transport, and air cover.

Meanwhile:

Quelle surprise. Still, were the Americans to have concluded that the release had been deliberate, that would have left the USA (and UK etc) with two questions: “why?“, and “how to respond?“. China is too large, too populous, and too powerful to be impacted by either economic or military sanctions, so it is more diplomatic to conclude, officially, that any “Covid” release was “a terrible accident“…

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-11788309/Putin-knows-trouble-year-long-conflict-Ukraine-says-former-FSB-chief.html?dicbo=v2-nuqfz6t.

Vladimir Putin is ‘terribly scared’ as he marks the first anniversary of his invasion of Ukraine, says an ex-Russian secret services general.

The Russian dictator has badly misread the West’s resolve to stand up to him, and did not realise his army’s incompetence, according to the former chief of the Moscow division of the FSB.

The time will come, and [in Russia] we will see empty shelves, goods shortages, people impoverishment, and technological backwardness in all areas.

Savostyanov predicts that Russia now faces a bleak future. If Putin somehow succeeds in Ukraine he would enact a repressive crackdown.

His angry inner circle ‘which has lost everything accumulated over 20 years’ would need to be eliminated.

Despite Putin’s desperation, Savostyanov rated the chances of Putin using his nuclear arsenal as slight. ‘I can say no more than one per cent that Putin will decide to carry out the nuclear threat,’ he said.

This could lead to breakaway attempts by some regions, he said.

‘As the federal budget is reduced, subsidies will be reduced, respectively, in the regions…., and they will say: ‘Why do we need Moscow?’

He forecast an attempt to bring to power a figure who ‘will be able to keep the situation under control and, on the other, start reforms’.

[Daily Mail]

I suppose that Savostyanov assesses the use of the nuclear arsenal as “one percent” mainly because there is no “big red button” to be pushed by Putin; the missiles can only be launched by a series of protocols involving Putin, the Strategic Rocket Forces (in Russia, separate from other arms: see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Strategic_Rocket_Forces) and both the navy and aerospace commands as well as the relevant directorate(s) of the FSB (security service) which last (if the protocols are the same as in Soviet days) control parts of the launch codes.

As I blogged a year ago, it should never have been like this— the invasion should have been swift, overwhelming, and near-bloodless, a Blitzkrieg for the sake of mercy, minimizing harm to the Ukrainian civilians and their homes (and infrastructure).

All the same, the war in Ukraine is one which Russia now has to win, bitter though any victory will be— for both sides in the conflict.

Factors which may help Russia to victory include its much larger population, and so its larger potential recruit pool; its unused weapons of enormous destructiveness, both conventional and nuclear; the fact that Russia’s size and dispersed large population mean that Russia itself cannot be successfully invaded and occupied (unless, arguably, by future Chinese forces); the fact that Russia is still a functioning economy (unlike Ukraine) and with enormous reserves of valuable hydrocarbons; finally, the fact that the forces of the Kiev regime may now be running out of arms and ammunition, as well as manpower.

If that were to happen, and the Russian Federation split into a number of pieces (perhaps as many as a dozen), the Chinese would find it easy to pick up the pieces, not by war but by —mainly— slow osmosis. The former Soviet Far East, Eastern Siberia, maybe as far west as the Urals.

It may be that a terrible choice lies before Putin.

UK journalism and the death of basic literacy

https://www.mirror.co.uk/news/uk-news/twisted-killer-millionaire-mistress-murdered-29310955

Take a look at that crime report. Not untypical of many seen these days, especially in the Daily Mail and, as here, Daily Mirror.

The narrative confused generally, and in its details; the second defendant sentenced to, in one paragraph, “four-and-a-half years” but, in another, “four years“; unnecessary adjectives and adverbs put in almost randomly (“twisted“, “sick“, “bizarrely” etc); ages of the defendants at some of the relevant times not printed, making the report less informative than it could have been; also, “Unbelievably, her and Jarvis told officers that she was in fact Carol“.

Her and Jarvis“?!

Enough. That report was, according to the byline, written by not one but two Daily Mirror “journalists”, named as Lauren Davidson and Joe Smith.

The best newspaper now, from the point of view of literacy, seems to be the Guardian.

Strange that, now that so many newspaper scribblers have degrees or diplomas in journalism, their product has become so unprofessional. In my opinion, the same, mutatis mutandis, can be said of barristers now (and in fact since the 1980s/1990s). As late as the mid-1970s, barristers did not even need a degree to be Called, though in fact most had attended university. Is the Bar better now? I think not.

Just a few “thoughts out of season”…
