When I was 18, in 1975, I had a fairly brief correspondence with Colin Jordan. I was hoping that he would support my political emergence; unsurprisingly, in retrospect, he was unwilling. A brave man, to have faced down the mob and the brainwashed in the UK in the decades following the superficially victorious but actually catastrophic end of the Second World War.
🚨 NEW: Nearly 80 Labour MPs have signed a letter demanding Andy Burnham scraps Shabana Mahmood’s immigration reforms
"We need an expansion of managed asylum routes, a review of the pause on family reunion and the introduction of right to work for asylum seekers" pic.twitter.com/qj6wuNemRs
As I predicted years ago, the migration invasion which has trashed our country is now going to be increased, but presented as “managed”, “controlled” etc. Migrant applications of all types simply rubberstamped overseas. Ecce! Magically “legal”…
Should be shot down in the street. So perish all alien mobs and crowds. Maybe in a future UK.
As a matter of fact, I hate all mobs and most crowds, even those not composed of untermenschen, and a proper government would suppress the majority of such manifestations.

Happened to see a few minutes of BBC News. I was watching the weather forecast. That was the only useful item.
After the weather, several trailers put out by the BBC for its own shows. First, something about Wimbledon, the BBC coverage of which, apparently, is now presented by some black. Then there was something about Hollywood, to be presented by some old Jew.
Then the main news broadcast came on, the headline item being about, not Iran, Ukraine etc, but the World Cup. It seems that the blacks of Team A beat the blacks of Team B.
Nein danke. (switched off).
Incidentally, one of the BBC’s main points in its argument to keep the so-called “licence fee” impost is that the BBC carries no advertising. In fact, the BBC carries a huge amount of advertising, but only for its own shows as well as, at times, government misinformation.

It will be interesting to see whether that Yermolayev Jew, who was not killed in the attack, will now expose some of the corruption of the Kiev regime, or whether he will try to keep his head down. He himself, after all, is a huge criminal who should be in a Siberian camp, not in Monte Carlo.

Interesting historical information
The Bar of England and Wales— a multikulti dustbin
“A trailblazing young barrister’s career is in ruins and she is facing years in jail for helping a gangster to avenge an assassination attempt on him.
Samreen Akhtar was considered one of the brightest new barristers on the circuit as she built a profile by speaking out against prejudice suffered by young black and Asian aspiring lawyers.
But her career is now in tatters after she was convicted of using her professional contacts to attack an organised crime gang member who tried to murder a rival gangster in a drugs turf war.
Akhtar, 37, from Huddersfield, is said to have helped career criminal Tabish Ali after he was shot in West Yorkshire.
She had learned the identity of the man who shot Ali – and then conspired with him to track down the gun man – and maim him.
It is not known why she threw away such a promising career at the bar and put her life in danger to help a career criminal, Ali.
But she was found guilty after a week-long trial at Manchester Crown Court of intentionally encouraging or assisting grievous bodily harm with intent.
The offence which carries a maximum sentence of life in prison. She will be sentenced on September 7.“
[Samreen Akhtar, “gone girl” barrister]
Casual perusal of the website of the Bar Standards Board will reveal that the majority, even the vast majority (certainly on a per capita basis), of barristers found to have defaulted, are non-Europeans. Most are disbarred, suspended etc for dishonesty of various types.
Regular readers of the blog will be aware that I myself was disbarred in 2016 (8 years after I had ceased practice), but not for dishonesty; for honourable political reasons, and only then because a pack of malicious Jews contrived a complaint against me: see
Only real English/British persons should be barristers or, a fortiori, judges. At present, the Bar and Bench are importing the mores of South Asia and Africa into their milieux, along with the alien hordes.
Incidentally, Jews were barred from the Bar until the mid-19thC. Now, there are large numbers of them.

I loathe groups because they so easily turn individual cowardice into collective abuse. This is exactly the sort of mob behaviour that gets my hackles up: following one person, intimidating him, and then pretending numbers confer moral legitimacy.
Why on Earth would anyone want to stroll around Oxford these days, let alone live there? I have visited the city a few times over the past year. Ghastly in every way, pretty much. My first visits since the year 2000, when I gave someone a lift from Oxford to Hereford (and my previous visit to Oxford was sometime around 1975, I think, when I visited Blackwell’s bookshop).
Actually, I had the possibility of attending one of the most prestigious colleges there; that was in the 1980s (a kind of backdoor entry, not the usual sort of application), and thus might have taken my degree at Oxford, which would have been a good thing from a careerist point of view at least, but I did not take up the possibility because I (foolishly) wanted to stay in London for personal reasons.
I do not know why some mob of the ignorant and/or brainwashed should follow Peter Hitchens about, but it would not be the first time. “Black Lives Matter” idiots, facemask/vaccine/Covid cretins, “Ukraine” (Kiev regime) me-too partisans. Etc.
Looking again at the clip, the police and some of the mob are wearing facemasks, so they may be facemask loonies filmed a few years ago. Hard to say.

EU leaders say it’s needed to stop child abuse material but critics argue it’s just another step toward a full surveillance state.
After failing to pass the law multiple times previously, tomorrow’s vote has been rigged through procedural maneuvers to favor approval.
After MEPs rejected the measure in March with 311 votes against, the largest group suddenly pushed an urgent procedure this week to force a new plenary vote on Thursday, the final session before summer recess.
This revives the proposal as a second reading, meaning rejection now demands an absolute majority of 361 votes rather than a simple majority against.
Proponents thus need only prevent strong opposition, inverting the usual dynamic.
Timing ensures many MEPs will be absent or traveling home for the summer vacations, with non-votes effectively counting toward passage by making the high threshold harder to reach.
Opponents denounce this as unprecedented and anti-democratic, bypassing the prior “no” and Parliament’s own rules.
The critics claim the sudden vote ignores widespread concerns over mass surveillance without warrants, false positives flooding police with innocent content, encryption risks and treating all citizens as suspects.“]

In December, I wrote to the Treasury and asked them for details of how much different migrant groups pay in tax, and how much they claim in benefits.
Most migrants in the UK are, to a greater or lesser extent, parasites. A smaller but still very significant number are criminal to some degree; a yet smaller group are supporters of, or actual, terrorists or para-terrorists.
We do not need them. We do not want them. They must be removed.

The Stanley Spencer gallery in Cookham would have no such qualms! Sorry, it’s too important a painting to shove in a basement because your trustees are pussies.”
I remember seeing that painting at the Tate (as it was then called— Tate Britain now) long ago, I think in the mid-1980s. It was once, in 1927, called “the most important picture painted by any English artist in the present century. … What makes it so astonishing is the combination in it of careful detail with the modern freedom of form. For once, I agree with Hodges, but the fact is that this is Farage’s contest to lose. It would be a huge upset if he were to lose, even were the System parties to stand candidates. Without them, he must have a 99% chance of winning (which is why he is doing this).

Hodges’ attacks on Farage are becoming obsessional. Hodges has not yet worked out that people are voting Reform UK mainly because they hate and despise the System parties, especially Lab and Con, so whatever flaws Reform and Farage may have will not, if exposed, have the devastating effect Hodges imagines.

I saw Annie Machon once, with her then boyfriend David Shayler. They jumped onto the platform of a bus I was already on, in Baker Street, at the traffic lights at Marylebone Road. I believe that such buses with open platforms no longer exist; what a pity— brilliant and useful design.
I have no idea whether that was their way of throwing off surveillance, or whether they just wanted to catch the bus. I recognized them immediately.
At that time, Shayler and, by association, Annie Machon, were fairly if briefly famous, and were in the newspapers fairly often. Must have been around 2002. I think that they were on their way to what had once, in the mid-1990s, been my old stamping-ground, the Royal Courts of Justice in the Strand.
Small world. I later spoke, in 2017, at the London Forum, where Shayler also gave a talk about half an hour before me, though I did not actually meet him or exchange any words with him. By that time, he had already been —and then not been— both a sort-of transsexual “cosplay” and, by his own account, the Son of God.

Farage must be odds-on to win the by-election. He got a vote-share of 46.2% in 2024.
At GE 2024, the Con Party put up their (former) MP candidate, retired actor and Garrick Club member, Giles Watling, at Clacton; he came second with 27.9% of the vote. Labour put up some young African, which was a deliberate insult to the English people of Clacton; the African got 16.2% of the vote.
Since 2024, Labour’s popularity has sunk, and I doubt whether the expected replacement of Starmer by Burnham will change much; it might even compound Labour’s problems.
As for the Conservatives, they have, it seems, now decided not to stand a candidate at the by-election. They may be afraid that their 2024 27.9% would sink to somewhere around 20% or even 15%. Whatever the truth of that, their absence must mean that Farage is a shoo-in. He may end up with over half, or even three-quarters, of the vote.
I cannot recall a (former) “main party” in the UK ever failing to put up a candidate at a Parliamentary by-election.
I have just now read that Labour will also not be standing a candidate at that by-election, and presumably for the same reasons— fear of getting a very humiliatingly-low vote; maybe about 10% of the overall vote. Farage is thereby guaranteed to get something like 75% of the vote.
A by-election is a by-election and she bottled it. This looks insane. https://t.co/kaMDc6BEek

Not sure that I agree with the lady’s conclusion, but the failure to stand a candidate does scream out “we are afraid of getting a tiny vote“; same goes for Labour.

So a Reform UK minority government, only able to do anything via the votes of the Con MPs. Also, the Cons, Labour, LibDems , Greens, and SNP all having between 40-100 MPs.
A useless Parliament of that sort might help to pave the way for a social-national upsurge, whether electoral or, more likely, otherwise.

As blogged previously, in the early 20thC Ireland only had 1% tree cover, which has now, over the past few decades, increased to over 11%, perhaps over 12%. The potential, though, is huge.
The old Anglo-Irish, Protestant Ascendancy Irish, owned old castles, or Georgian houses; many still do. On the other hand, as I noticed when I was first in Ireland in the 1970s, the Roman Catholic Irish who are the bulk of the population preferred to live, given the opportunity (i.e. the funds), to build modern bungalows and other —usually quite ugly— houses, often with little in their gardens beyond lawn. Practical, in that climate, though. Roofs that keep out the rain; central heating…
My parents were friendly, long ago, in the late 1970s and 1980s, with a number of Irish people who lived in the counties around Dublin; they were all involved with racing, or other equine activities, in some way. One couple were involved in training horses, and the husband, whose name I forget (thanks to Google help, I recall now) was Tom Taaffe, who rode the Grand National winner, Quare Times, in 1955. I never met him, but did meet his very charming wife in England; that would have been late 1970s, maybe 1977 or 1978. Sometime around then.
I recall visiting, in 1985 or 1986, the home of one family of that circle; my parents were staying there at the time. Punchestown House, near Naas, County Kildare. The family, Doyle by name, were wealthy Roman Catholics involved in all sorts of business. They also owned a stud farm there.
Their home was a very comfortable large modern house, and what interested me was that, right there, a stone’s throw away, stood the ruins of the original house, 18thC but totally taken over by Nature. No roof to speak of, and no window glass. There was even a big tree growing through the remains of the roof area.
I suppose that English people in that position might try either to rescue the old house (if at all feasible), or build a modern copy. Perhaps, anyway.
Triggered by that memory, I just used incredible Google AI to bring back the detail I had forgotten. I see now that that one of that hospitable couple’s sons, Jack Doyle, an Olympic showjumper sponsored by Kerrygold, and whom I met (mid-1980s) in both England and Ireland, is still involved in all such activities— showjumping, stud farm etc.
Google AI is an incredible resource. I just fed in a few details about how my father and I drove to visit a lady (friendly with that Doyle family) and who lived at Baltyboys House, Blessington, County Wicklow, not very far away, a house previously the home of famous ballerina Ninette de Valois. Our hostess filled us up with Irish whiskey in mid-afternoon, and was very hospitable. I knew no more of the background until today, and now only thanks to Google AI.
Turns out that that lady, an Australian, was the wife of famous racing trainer Vincent O’Brien. I had no idea until today. I thought at the time that she was probably a widow. Turns out that Vincent O’Brien lived mainly elsewhere, in another large house, in Tipperary. I also had no idea that, at one time, one of the daughters of the O’Brien couple also lived there, and was married to one of the producers of the James Bond film, Thunderball, someone called McClory, whom I now see led a very adventurous life: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kevin_McClory.

Well, there it is. Some Indian “Bombay Failed” is still at the Bar despite proven dishonesty, and (looking at the background of that photo, New Hall and the Library of Lincoln’s Inn, London) still welcome at what was my own Inn of Court, whereas I myself was wrongfully —and actually unlawfully— disbarred in 2016, which therefore also triggered automatic expulsion from Lincoln’s Inn. See:
To give the Bar Standards Board their due, they did write to me a couple of years later, admitting that I should never have been disbarred (because my “case” should have been heard by a 3-person Tribunal panel, and not a 5-person one; 3-person panels have no power to disbar). I declined for several reasons, among which the facts that I would be unlikely to return to active Bar practice and that the Bar is now a dustbin anyway.
What were my supposed defaults anyway? To have tweeted on Twitter five —yes, only 5, out of 150,000— supposedly “offensive” tweets (and retweets).
All five “offensive” (not at all offensive) tweets were completely true. For example, that that snivelling little bastard, Michael Gove, was a puppet of Israel and the Jewish lobby, as well as having been an expenses fraudster when serving as an MP.
All true.
At that time, it was unknown (at least to me) that the little bastard (Gove) was also a drunk and a drug abuser.
So, as seen, the said “Bombay Failed” is now reinstated as a barrister (indeed, still holds the —now-very-degraded— status of “KC”), while Gove has been, ludicrously, elevated to the House of Lords (despite the drugs, drink, fraudulent dishonesty, and other deviant behaviour).
I, on the other hand, am now effectively an “unperson”…
Does that not say rather a lot about our whole society?
As regular readers of the blog will know, my matter only came to the attention of the Bar Standards Board (2014) and so to a Bar Disciplinary Tribunal (2016) because of a long and conspiratorial campaign by connected packs of Jews— UK Lawyers for Israel, and the so-called “Campaign Against Antisemitism”, the memberships or support cadres of which overlap to a certain extent.
The latter pack also managed to have me tried in the magistrates’ court in 2023 for entirely true and correct blog posts. See:
The blog continued to be published, and on a near-daily basis, right the way through the process of trial and sentencing in 2023 and 2024. It will continue to be published, no matter what, even if it has to be switched to another jurisdiction.
It will quite soon be 10 years since I was so wrongfully and unlawfully disbarred (in October 2016), nearly 3 years (November 2023) since I was wrongfully put on trial for exercising my free speech rights, and well over 2 years (March 2024) since I was sentenced for having exercised my right —and duty— to publish the truth. Time flows on, and truth continues to be the truth.

We hear so much about “the high street” and how the shops there have to be helped etc. I am not so sure we even need to “save the high street”. After all, you go there, and half the time you cannot find a park spot, and when you do you are expected to pay for it, even if you are only going to be there for half an hour.
Most of the really useful high street stores and facilities have been closed or are about to be closed (banks, post offices, Woolworths, W.H. Smith etc).
Maybe it is time to accept that, just as the towns of Roman Britain fell into disuse, many of them being abandoned, once the Romans left Britain and Roman society stopped working in Britain, the 18thC/19thC/20thC “high street” has now outlived its usefulness in the UK.
Fertilizing of fields
I was idly wondering whether human bodies, in large numbers, are a beneficial source of fertilizer for soil, or more of a contaminant. As people say on Twitter/X, “genuine question”. I do not know.
I know that Rudolf Steiner made the point that certain types of tree, in the northern temperate zone, have always been planted in or around churchyards with the idea of decontaminating the area. Yew trees are the best-known of such trees.
I do not know, cannot recall, though, what Steiner said specifically about all that.
Of course, there are areas of the world, particularly areas where large-scale battles took place, and where most of the fallen were buried where they fell: the Somme in Northern France; the area around Volgograd (former Stalingrad) in southern Russia etc. The farmers around Volgograd still find skulls which come to the surface in the Spring.
I myself have travelled through the area of the Somme several times, and there is a strange feeling at times there, a heaviness in the spiritual atmosphere; sombre. However, my interest at present is more in the practical biochemical aspects.
Perhaps I shall consult with the excellent Google AI system.

[“Professor of the University of Chicago, international political scientist John Mearsheimer:
I constantly encounter broken logic. For example, everyone is saying that Ukraine is winning – Russia is suffering huge losses, and Ukrainians are regaining their territories. But when you look at the figures for the exchange of dead bodies, the ratio is from 1 to 20, and even 1 to 40. A huge number of Ukrainian remains versus a relatively small number of Russians. Where’s the logic? If Russia is suffering huge losses, the ratio should be the opposite! They object to me: the Russians are constantly attacking and picking up their own. But how can they attack if we simultaneously hear that Ukrainians are regaining territories? Where’s the logic?
Let’s talk about losses. The New York Times just published an article about the ratio of losses, where losses refer to those killed on the battlefield, plus the wounded. The Times cites an estimate of the number of dead on both sides, which is based on data from the Washington-based think tank CSIS (Center for Strategic and International Studies). So the newspaper writes that 450,000 Russians were killed, and somewhere between 125,000 and 150,000 Ukrainians. Well, let’s say there are 150,000 Ukrainians and 450,000 Russians. A ratio of 1 to 3. That is, for every Ukrainian killed, there are three Russians. But this is impossible to believe. This can’t be true. I don’t understand how they came up with these figures?
The main losses on the battlefield, as is well known, are caused by artillery fire. Throughout most of the war, the Russians have maintained an advantage in artillery, with various estimates of 5 to 1, 7 to 1, and even 10 to 1. And so-called smart bombs, guided artillery shells, dropped from the sky? The Russians have countless arsenals of these bombs, which they constantly rain down on the heads of Ukrainians. But the Ukrainians, in turn, have almost none of these bombs.
To those who say that the Russians are constantly attacking (and picking up bodies), there’s also something to object to. Firstly, the Ukrainians also attacked a lot. Just remember the Kursk operation. Or their famous summer counteroffensive in 2023, which was supposed to turn into a blitzkrieg, take Ukraine to the Azov Sea, and split the Russian front in two. In the first year of the war, the Russians suffered two defeats when the Ukrainians attacked near Kherson and Kharkov. Not to mention the current counteroffensive actions of the Ukrainian army. That is, Ukraine attacked a lot in this war, so it’s impossible to say that it’s always on the defensive, and in the defensive, the army suffers fewer losses and therefore, it’s not surprising to see the figures from The New York Times.
No, using such arguments, these figures cannot be explained. They’re meaningless. I think that when we eventually learn the real figures, there will be a million losses on the Ukrainian side. And that’s just the dead. To say 150,000 is ridiculous and meaningless.
Nevertheless, all this is presented as “facts” and on the basis of these “facts”, people are trying to assess what is happening between Russia and Ukraine now and guess what our next steps should be. It’s impossible to believe these figures, they’re ridiculous. But there are those who believe them. And they, relying on these figures, advocate for raising the stakes in the game against Russia, increasing support for Ukraine, breaking Russia and ending it as a great power. There are many such people.
I ask myself: “What’s the matter with them? Are they just making it up? Taking figures out of thin air? I’m talking about The New York Times. No, hardly. Rather, they themselves trust these figures. Objectivity blinds them, and they don’t notice it. But, alas, in the end, we have elites who have convinced themselves of what they believe. This is a false narrative, but they are guided by it and continue to move forward.“]
“Ukraine” (support for the corrupt, shambolic, and brutal regime in Kiev) has become a kind of totem for the decadent political class in Western Europe. At the same time, their own societies are falling apart via migration invasion, finance-capitalist exploitation, and rightly-disenchanted and angry native populations.

Labour is now openly working with international organisations like the European Convention on Human Rights, the United Nations Refugee Agency, & global multinationals, universities, & self-anointed ‘community groups’ to flood Britain with yet more migrants and refugees while forcing the British people to pay for it.
This is all in the detail of the latest plans.
What you see is not an attempt to ’empower’ the British people. Quite the opposite. It is to transfer power AWAY from the people to distant, unaccountable organisations that exist beyond the realm of our national democracy and to then use these to dramatically increase the number of refugees, asylum-seekers & immigrants coming into Britain.
Even worse, Labour is now doing this despite having failed to stop the boats, fix the borders, and restore any sense of public confidence and trust in the system.
They are now also rapidly backtracking on other plans to tighten up indefinite leave to remain, happily handing the British people a bill of some £600 billion that will be left by giving millions of low-wage Boriswave migrants the right to stay in Britain forever, despite the British people voting for the very opposite of this, in 2019.
Labour say we need more safe and legal routes to help stop illegal migration but this is bonkers. We gave 5 million people legal routes into Britain during the Boriswave and yet another 200,000 illegals still came into the country. Wake up, folks.
The end result, I fear, will be total chaos, accelerating demographic change, instability, and the further erosion of public trust in politics and even democracy itself.
Nobody voted for this. Nobody asked for this. And only a very few fanatics in Labour & the Greens want this.
The only good news is that by veering sharply to the left on immigration and asylum, and by completely giving up on any claim to represent the British people, there will now be enormous space in British politics for a party to connect with the decent majority of hardworking Brits who have had enough of the constant gaslighting and lying in Westminster, and had enough of being treated like second-class citizens in their own country.
And Reform UK will fill this space.
We will speak up for the broad coalition of decent Brits who can now sense and see that they are being completely screwed over, and who know there is nothing “fair” about constantly putting the rest of the world ahead of your own taxpaying citizens.“]
Goodwin says that voting Reform will “do de business”. No.
I have nothing against people voting Reform or Restore or whatever, but the fact is that, since Blair’s repressive laws, the UK electoral system has been monitored, controlled, and rigged, and no real social-national party can achieve any measure of power via the ballot box.
Nature, managed Nature, homesteading, permaculture, rewilding, and the potential symbiosis of rurality and advanced technology
Some of the background to the Nastya and Village Life videos.
Incidentally, that person makes a very good income via YouTube: see
She gets some direct donations, even if only a few hundred U.S. dollars per month. She seems to have an overall income from online activity somewhere in the region of USD $7,000 per month at present, which is decent, to say the least, especially in Russia, and even if (as I expect) it is taxed at about a third.
I had noticed in some of her videos that she (or her now-ex husband or boyfriend) owned a foreign vehicle; her German kitchen appliances etc were also noticed.
Not that I am criticizing. It is very clever to mix a rural life with an income largely derived from the most up-to-date technical advances, such as online vlogging.
Another example of similar or not entirely dissimilar (though more “eco”-oriented) activity would be Bealtaine Cottage, in Ireland: https://bealtainecottage.com.
As a matter of fact, when I had a Twitter account (a pack of Jews had me expelled in 2018), the lady from Bealtaine Cottage used to retweet my material sometimes; then the same Jewish cabal harassed her, and tweeted to her about how I was supposedly “mad, bad, and dangerous to know“, as Lady Caroline Lamb said of Byron. The Bealtaine Cottage lady then blocked me. Still, I am bigger than that. #MoralHighGround…
Tree cover in Europe varies from a mere 1% on Malta to 74% in Finland. Ireland has only about 11%, so the example of Bealtaine Cottage is well worth both noting and emulating.
The UK is also deficient in tree cover (about 13.5%, though possibly increasing slightly). I believe that, immediately after WW1, the situation in the UK was even worse, about 5%, which is why the Forestry Commission was established in 1919, though at first only to grow conifers for timber production.
If you see old photos and film of England from the First World War era, or even 1930s, the denudation of the landscape in many rural areas is clear.
Ireland, after WW1, had a miserable tree cover of only 1%, incredibly, so even the 11%-12% presently seen is a huge improvement, even more so than in the UK.
Both countries are moving over to Nature-friendly broadleaf planting now.
Bealtaine Cottage has only 3 acres, in fact (though the dense vegetation makes the plot seem larger), and the lady owner has planted 1,000+ trees herself, mostly from seed or from cuttings. The so-called “power of one”:
The “power of one” indeed, but that just emphasises how much more a group, even a small group, can do (in any area of activity). When scaled-up to a whole society doing things, the available power of transformation can be huge (again, in any field of activity, not just ecological and environmental).
The main point made, though, is that you do not, in the end, need a group or organization. One person can do it, alone.
The cartoons below show what can happen when biodiversity is reduced, but not everywhere is going in the wrong direction.
As far as Bealtaine Cottage is concerned, this is what Google AI has to say:
“The lady behind Bealtaine Cottage is Colette O’Neill, a native of Omagh, County Tyrone, Northern Ireland. Born into a large family of eleven children, her journey to creating her famous woodland sanctuary involves a fascinating mid-life reinvention. [1, 2, 3]
Early Life & Teaching Career
Education: Colette won a scholarship to attend the Loreto Convent Grammar School in Omagh.
Life in London: She spent a major portion of her adulthood living in London, raising her three children. As a mature student, she attended Middlesex University, graduating with honours in education in 1992.
Profession: Prior to her ecological work, she spent over a decade working as a full-time schoolteacher in London. [1, 2]
The Escape to the “Good Life”
By 2004, tired of the relentless pace of London life and single in her late 40s, Colette plotted her return to Ireland to pursue a simpler, self-sustaining lifestyle. She spent holiday weekends hunting for property, eventually buying a derelict, roofless stone cottage sitting on three acres of severely waterlogged, north-facing bogland in County Roscommon. [1, 2, 3]
Despite having no plumbing, electricity, or local family support, she moved in alone to prove that one person could restore the poorest land into a thriving ecosystem. [1, 2, 3]
Current Identity & Work
Now in her late 60s, Colette has lived at the cottage for over 21 years and identifies deeply as a writer, folklorist, vegan, and Pagan “Tree Mother”. Her daily philosophy has evolved from standard permaculture into what she calls “Goddess Permaculture”—a deeply spiritual, mindful connection to the Earth. [1, 2, 3, 4]
She is a officially recognized artist by the Irish government and funds her lifestyle entirely through her ad-free YouTube channel, Patreon, and Bealtaine Cottage Publishing, through which she has written and self-published several books, including A Cottage and Three Acres and Walking Between Worlds.”
So there you see the practical aspects. Her 3-acre plot does produce quite a lot of food, probably all or most of what she needs. She even sells any surplus locally. Heating is mainly from wood she has planted, cut, and dried.
Apart from that, the Bealtaine Cottage lady has no direct income via her YouTube channel, (ad-free, by her own choice, which is very principled, in view of the fact that she has 90,000 YouTube subscribers). She could otherwise get maybe £1,000-£1,500 per month from that source alone.
Actually, I am seeing ads on her vlogs, but whether she herself profits from them, I have no idea.
She does get donations (at least £300-£400 per month) via Patraeon (~127 subscribers), and a little more via other online donation sites. Her own books, self-published, must bring in some income, and that is all tax-free in Ireland, because recognized artists, writers etc are untaxed.
I do not know whether she gets any direct income via Twitter/X; maybe not.
At age 65-70, that lady must also get UK and/or Irish state pension payments, and probably also has a small private pension from her decade teaching in London.
My point is that the lady has diverse income streams (and few expenses). The Russian lady, Nastya, is more limited in where her income originates.
Ideally, one does not put all eggs in one basket.
I always recall seeing a TV show, circa 2001, about a black American financial specialist adviser. One person advised was a young man from somewhere like Luton or Bedford who had arranged to hire a jet airliner simulator. He then sold blocks of time for 30 minutes at a go, as a novelty. He was making something like £100K a year in the money of 2000 (you could double or triple that in the money of 2026).
He was offered £650,000 in cash (so over £1.5M in 2026 money) for his business —and was advised to accept— but refused. A few months later, the 2001 attack on New York happened, and BA (who owned the simulator) and all other airlines were told by government not to allow any stray people to use flight simulators. The young man’s business collapsed overnight. He vanished into obscurity, having thought of himself as an “entrepreneur”, when really he had just had one lucky and time-limited success.
Eggs. Basket(s).
Another case. I knew via a friend, a middle-aged Scottish lady who thought she knew everything about finance and business, but in reality knew nothing. Her father had owned a very large business in Scotland; it produced hydraulic pit props (for coal mines), I believe. By the time her father died, in the late 1960s or early 1970s, the National Coal Board was not ordering many such props. The business was insolvent. It employed thousands of people.
The lady of my fairly slight acquaintance was a civil servant in London. She took over despite knowing nothing of business. Her motivation, well-meaning but silly, was to try to keep the business going for the sake of its employees. All that happened was that the collapse, which might have been mitigated, was total, and delayed by only months, not years. All the employees were left with neither employment nor even corporate redundancy payments.
After that, the Scottish lady had some money, and a large mansion flat in St. John’s Wood High Street, very close to Regent’s Park. Such apartments, especially of that size, are now valued in the millions. Even then, the value was very high. She sold it and, with a proportion of the proceeds, bought the one-time private residence of Ribbentrop, from when he was Ambassador of the German Reich in London. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joachim_von_Ribbentrop#Ambassador_to_the_United_Kingdom. That detached house, in Barnes, just south of Hammersmith Bridge, and down a quiet side road, had a pleasant garden with mature trees, at least by the early 1980s when I saw it a couple of times, and a large number of bedrooms.
The Scottish lady rented out at least a dozen rooms to foreign girl students, cash in hand. I suppose that that would have brought in the equivalent (in 2026 money) of a couple of thousand pounds, perhaps more, each week. In cash. Almost certainly not declared to the tax authorities. Was she satisfied with that? No, of course not…
The Scottish lady conceived the idea of a clothes shop with nice fashions for fat women (to put it bluntly). She herself was enormous. Clothes for very fat women were, at the time, apparently hard to find in the UK, so she went to the USA to source stock.
She actually mortgaged her house in order to launch this doomed venture. A shop was leased, in Marylebone High Street, and its name emblazoned above the doors— Largesse. Maybe not a very diplomatic name…
I myself, then in my mid-twenties and not yet embarked on my law degree, actually slept on the shop’s floor overnight once or twice, because the burglar alarms had not been installed.
Anyway, suffice to say that that shop failed, spectacularly, and the lady eventually died, about a decade later, effectively and maybe actually bankrupt.
Lesson? Self-knowledge prevents too-ambitious an undertaking. Also, that sometimes one can get by quite well on what one has. That Scottish lady had few essential expenses and, in the money of 2026, a cash income, untaxed (in effect) of at least £10,000 per month; significant capital as well.
Compare that to Ms. O’Neill of Beltaine Cottage, who has a small fraction of that income, yet lives, it appears, rather well on it. As a friend of mine at the Bar once remarked to me, “it’s not what you make, it’s what you spend.” Trite, of course, but true.
The way forward for many may be to disconnect as far as possible or convenient from the general society, to link up with others fairly loosely, and to prepare for the quite likely collapse of that general society.
Naturally, everyone will have a pathway that suits the individual circumstances; the knowledge-level of Ms. O’Neill in Ireland is very greatly higher than that of the Russian girl. Both cases, however, are worth studying for what they can impart,

System MPs such as Lucy Powell are just clowns, really.
Good grief, just listen to that silly bitch spouting her soundbites about “decent, well-paid jobs“, good housing etc. Meanwhile, in the real England and Wales, migrant invaders are still flooding in, there is a near-collapse of law, order, and previous social norms and, in soundbite language, the rich are getting hugely richer, and almost everyone else is sinking, as shown in the cartoon below from 15 years ago (and still valid):
Luxury Belief Class. Greens, Labour & Lib Dem’s advocate extreme policies like open borders until they have to live with the consequences.
This is why Reform has pledged to put detention centres in left-wing neighbourhoods. https://t.co/qm6MtX7QGO
Anyone supporting the migration invasion should also be placed in a detention centre, if you want to call it that. Or work on projects creating canals, or in forests.
As for “what is happening“, what is happening is relatively slow-burn social and political collapse, for which System politicians and (((the usual suspects))) are largely responsible.

The Kalergi Plan in action.
Under Andy Burnham the UK is in even greater peril than before.
Translates to a Commons with about 226 Labour MPs (100 short of an overall majority); 221 Reform UK (strong official Opposition); 57 Cons (about half of the present number); 52 LibDems; 43 SNP; 14 Greens; 12 Plaid Cymru [etc].
A hopelessly hung Parliament. Burnham would only be able to pass legislation with the assistance of all the LibDems, all the Greens, all Plaid, and all SNP (adding up to 121, so even then several short of an overall majority, but about half a dozen more than a bare working majority. Hopeless.
As a matter of fact, I think that a Burnham government is going to become pretty unpopular pretty quickly.
I cannot see Burnham holding a general election at present, i.e. later this year, because I am assuming that Labour’s large present majority would disappear (as it loses 200+ MPs). On the other hand, if Burnham just takes over, as Sunak did from Liz Truss/”Boris”-idiot, and refuses to call an election for years, then we are back to square one, and Labour is toast.
Good for social-nationalism, probably.

Their response was to tell Weir to never mention Asian men again and book her onto a two day ethnicity and diversity course. A few months later her files vanished from a locked office. Computer records were altered too. Nobody was ever charged for that either. It took until 2016 for Arshid Hussain to get 35 years and Qurban Ali to get 10. Fifteen years after Weir handed the council the names on a plate. The Jay Report in 2014 confirmed 1400 children were abused in Rotherham. The Casey Report in 2015 called the council not fit for purpose and pointed straight at a culture that put political correctness above child protection. I saw on TV news a clip from the speech. As I have already predicted on the blog, the Andy Burnham Labourite circus, like some wine, does not travel far from its native terroir, in this case Manchester.
As predicted, Burnham is already a disaster, and he is not yet even elected by the Labour MP drones as their chosen leader (and so, Prime Minister by default).

Currently a bit of speculation about the role of Josh Simons. Whatever some people's concerns, the reality is Andy Burnham believes he wouldn't be preparing to be Prime Minister if it wasn't for Simons. He's going to be a key part of the Burnham operation moving forward.
Josh Simons: Jewish or, maybe, half-Jew; former Director of anti-Corbyn pro-Jewish-lobby and pro-Israel organization, Labour Together; former Chair of Labour Friends of Israel; met his wife at Harvard, but her exact provenance is unknown; was MP at Makerfield but gave up his seat so that Andy Burnham could be parachuted into Downing Street to replace Starmer-stein (because Starmer had lost the confidence of the voters). Now Burnham’s Chief of Staff.
Exactly what this blog has been predicting for years, at least 2 years if not longer— “asylum” and other claims rubberstamped before the bastards ever get here. The other, similar, scam is of course “closing asylum hotels”…yes, because the migrant-invaders are being placed in council or private rental property, while British people languish endlessly on housing waiting lists.
Apart from anything else, everyone knows (even the hardened pro-immigration drones) that virtually all the immigrants are parasites, and even if a small number are not, their extended families are or will be. A significant number are also, or will be, criminally-inclined, one way or another, and a very small (?) but not insignificant number will be either terrorists, terrorist sympathisers and possibly facilitators, and/or dangerous mentally-disturbed crazies.

It’s starting to feel unlikely we’ll ever have a general election again. If the state is going to work against the interests of the British people, the British people will be forced to pursue solutions outside of politics. The government is creating the conditions for civil war.
Much depends on what happens with both Reform UK and Restore Britain. Even if voters are voting against some party (eg Lab), and so voting elsewhere (eg Reform, Restore), they still, most of them, will not vote for parties that are an absolute shambles.
The System may foment a war with Russia —or create a pre-conflict period— thus also providing the excuse to “postpone” a general election. Were that to happen, though, the vanguard of the British people might have to rise up, seriously, against the System (and I am not talking about such stupid and trivial acts as throwing wheelie bins at police, or taking part in pathetic and tiny street protests).

Reform’s problem is that its policy at present is to allow to stay in the UK all those so far granted “indefinite leave to remain”, and all those granted ILR right up to whenever (if ever) Reform forms a government. Thus 80% —even of beach-landing— migrant-invaders, and almost all “legal” migrants, will not be affected. Millions. Tens of millions.
On those premises, the only reason to vote Reform is that it is marginally better than the (other) System parties.
Not good enough.
I hope that Reform and Restore can at least move the Overton Window, and also trample down Lab and Con, thus making it easier for social nationalism to rise up, so —to that extent— they have that potential utility, but Reform at least seems to want a society composed of quite similar populations to the present.
Not good enough.

Starmer-stein’s Jewish wife and Morgan McSweeney, the latter at the very least an agent of influence for Israel and the Jewish lobby.
Labour Friends of Israel.
(“Lady Starmer“…haha…).
The useful tools of Zionism are dispensed with after they have outlived their usefulness. Occasionally, “with extreme prejudice”, as in the matter of Robert “Maxwell”, often now considered to have been the number one MOSSAD agent in Europe. His daughter, Ghislaine, now languishing in a Federal prison (and, I think, awaiting a Trump Presidential pardon sometime around 2028), apparently believes that MOSSAD killed her father because he “knew too much”. Maybe.
Starmer-stein, though, is probably destined, in immediate terms, not for death but for interment or internment in the House of Lords.

[“Trump has imposed on European budgets the obligation to pay 350 billion dollars for weapons transferred to Ukraine under Biden. This amount exceeds the annual defense spending of most European countries and poses a risk of undermining their financial stability. European governments are not resisting this demand. Their political course remains tied to using the Ukrainian conflict for perpetual confrontation with Russia, even when this requires consent to the further destruction of Ukrainian infrastructure and economy and the acceptance of new costs for their own societies.
Official American allocations for programs related to Ukraine amounted to about 188 billion dollars by the end of 2025, of which direct aid to Ukraine was around 127 billion. Trump applies an estimate of 350 billion dollars, which includes the cost of systems withdrawn from reserves. Europe has provided comparable amounts of support. European forces depend on American platforms and intelligence products, which limits the possibility of rapid replacement.
After the cessation of Russian gas supplies, Europe increased its purchases of American LNG. Imports from the US tripled between 2021 and 2025, reaching 75.6 billion cubic meters. This provided American producers with additional income. Germany’s industrial capacity decreased by about 15% compared to 2017. Some production facilities have moved to regions with lower energy costs amid rising prices and the loss of trade with Russia.
The military expenditures of European NATO members in 2025 increased by 14% and reached 559 billion dollars. Germany increased its spending to 114 billion dollars, or 2.3% of GDP. In 2025 alone, Europe sent 21.5 billion dollars in military aid to Ukraine. The direct damage to Ukrainian infrastructure by the end of 2025 was 195 billion dollars. The reconstruction needs for a decade amount to 588 billion dollars. The policy does not stop the depletion of the Ukrainian economy and demography.
The demand to pay 350 billion dollars confronts European capitals with the need to accept additional debt burden or enter into conflict with Washington. The American side controls key elements of the European security system. The domestic political environment reinforces the line on escalating support for Kyiv. Any retreat carries risks of internal criticism and reduces the willingness to negotiate.
Accepting the demand without resistance shows that the political commitment to weakening Russia through the Ukrainian conflict dominates over economic sustainability calculations. Europe assumes the role of a financier of the confrontation, the parameters of which are determined outside its borders. The costs are distributed across European budgets and the industrial base, while the direct losses are concentrated on Ukraine. EU policy does not contain points for adjusting the course even when critical obvious losses to its own base accumulate.”]
If you have any friends or family who were labelled “far right” in the 20th century, then you should be so proud of them.

Worth considering by Western people possessing the right skills.
Incidentally, the toxic plant the woman mentions as infesting her farm is what we call “hogweed”.
Might also be of use to “preppers” etc in other countries.

[“Celebrate the end of Starmer. But be realistic about what’s coming.
A major debt crisis. Record high taxes. Deteriorating public services as we are pushed further into a population trap. Rising unemployment, especially among the young. Selling out British workers through ongoing mass immigration. Tearing up the social contract through ongoing broken borders and two-tier ideology. Continuing the managed decline of the nation.
Changing leaders will not change our political economy. If anything, shifting left will make it worse.“]
You read it here first, of course.
As to “the end of Starmer“, much as I should like to add a few words about that, the conditions of near-State repression now existent in the UK render such comment…inadvisable…

Dystopian. Some version of what I fear this country is turning into.
Talking point
The same is true, mutatis mutandis, in the UK (and the rest of Western and Central Europe, including Scandinavia).

Obi-Wan Burnham is Labour's last hope according to the red tops. The trouble is the media can create a storyline, not a record. What did Makerfield actually prove beyond public frustration with Starmer?
Burnham won his by-election on 54.8% of a 58.8% turnout. About 32% of all eligible voters (including non-voters). The other 68% either did not vote (in many cases probably because they wanted something very radical) or voted elsewhere, mostly for Reform or Restore (all other candidates lost their deposits; the Con Party scored only 2.2%, and all others were well under 1% each).
The Guardian hailed that underwhelming result as “Andy Burnham wins huge victory“. Pathetic.
The System newspapers, TV etc are all invested in Burnham as the new Great White Hope, someone whose supposed “vision” will save the existing political system and parties…they hope.
Hard to remember now, for many, but when Starmer-stein became Prime Minister, only 2 years ago, he too was hailed as something wonderful by the msm. Some stupid woman scribbler in the Guardian even gushed about how she felt suddenly sexually attracted to him!
What a difference two years (and reality) make…
Can Andy Burnham get into Downing Street? Not without the help of a policeman it would seem… I was digging through BBC's archives and found this gem from 2007 pic.twitter.com/VW5TuLLXLl
'It's a racist tweet, let's be honest.' @Lewis_Goodall puts Tory peer Daniel Hannan's comments on France and Senegal's footballers to Shadow Chancellor Mel Stride. pic.twitter.com/eKcfkpj7oX
MSM drones such as Lewis Goodall naturally cannot bear anyone saying or tweeting, or blogging, the truth…
I have said for years that football, and most other sports in the UK, USA, EU states etc, now consist of what my be described as the boast that “my blacks can beat your blacks.”
Ironically, the only sport —racing— in which, at one time, in South Carolina, Georgia, Louisiana, and parts of the Caribbean, blacks were the only participants (young black boys riding bareback as jockeys) is now one of the few (certainly in the UK and mainland Europe) in which there are almost no blacks riding (and I think in the USA too, to a large extent).
The way that Flat season jockeys especially now ride, almost on the necks of the horses, was first developed by those small black boys in the Southern states of the USA in the 18thC.
''This is what you expect in a banana republic, not a supposedly mature western democracy''. At last Dan! you're beginning to see exactly what this vile party of yours has turned us into!!!
“A massive majority” but, crucially, of Commons seats in an outdated and rigged electoral system, not in terms of popular vote.
The Starmer-Labour popular vote in 2024 was only 33.7% of all votes cast (only about 1 point up on the 2019 General Election and Corbyn-Labour), and that gave Labour over 63% of all Commons seats. Ridiculous.
In fact, fewer than 60% of eligible voters even voted. Starmer’s active voter support or citizen support was, even in 2024, no more than 20% in reality. People also voted, mainly, or most of them, to get Sunak and the Con Party out, not specifically to get Starmer-Labour in.
The Con Party vote in 2019 had been 43.63%; that fell to 23.7% st GE 2024.
In short, Starmer-Labour won GE 2024 by default, and won big by reason of the outdated/flawed/rigged electoral system.
What I mean by “rigged” is the boundaries drawn to preserve fake “fairness” and a two-tone, or at most three-sided, result.
Well, @tobyperkinsmp nails it here. You can like Starmer or not, but saying that “I won in spite of him” 2 years ago… that was quite rude. pic.twitter.com/vZCOE1WVjf
Jess Phillips really seems to think that she was re-elected despite Starmer, maybe even despite being a Labour candidate, but when you look at those who lose their main-party approval and try to get re-elected purely on their own popularity, not many do. Corbyn is the only ex-Labour one that comes to mind.
Jess Phillips: pro-Jewish lobby, pro-Israel, and one of the worst freeloaders in the Commons. God knows why anyone would want her as an MP.
As previously blogged, nothing Trump now says can be relied upon, not even for a single day.

…and that is just the conventional, non-nuclear, arsenal. Give Russia Eastern Ukraine, the Black Sea littoral, and a condominium status in Kiev, and establish a rump Ukrainian state centred on Lvov. I have been suggesting that as a suitable outcome for 4 years now.
Late thought about BBC TV News
Saw about 10 mins of the BBC TV News broadcast earlier. Some non-white woman was reading the news. I can just about tolerate “Keeev” for Kiev (well, only just— it is ludicrous), and that seems to be BBC house style at present, but the woman then referred to the Colombian capital, Bogota, as something like “Bargaaartar“.
For God’s sake, if you cannot find any educated or semi-educated (real) British people to read out your tendentious propaganda, at least get a non-white who can pronounce such a name as as Bogota without sounding utterly stupid.
