    The war will be long and exhausting. No side will admit defeat.

    My view: this is exactly what happened in Ukraine. Americans have no exit strategy, only an entry strategy.
  2. Why can’t America exit?
    Iran will demand $1 trillion in compensation + complete US withdrawal from the region.
    If America withdraws:

Gulf states will become clients of Iran.

Petrodollar will collapse.

America — with $39 trillion in debt — will face a real economic collapse.
The point no one talks about: America is not fighting for Iran… it is fighting so it does not collapse itself.

  1. Iran’s smart plan — $800 billion per year
    Iran plans to impose a 10% passage fee on every ship crossing the Strait of Hormuz.
    Expected revenue: $800 billion per year.
    This amount will rebuild Iran stronger than before.
    If this is correct — and I see it as not far-fetched — Iran will emerge from the war richer than it entered.
  2. The biggest loser is not America — but China
    China imports 40% of its energy from the Gulf.
    Its economy is entirely built on cheap energy.
    Even artificial intelligence — which everyone talks about — requires cheap energy.
    Any disruption in energy supplies will hit China more than any other country.
    And what no one notices: the war in Iran is not just an American war — it is a war on China’s future as a great power.
  3. The real beneficiaries? Israel and Russia
    Israel:

Wants “Greater Israel” from the Nile to the Euphrates.

Draining America in a long war = pushing it out of the region.

Weakening the Gulf = removing any competitor.
Russia:

America lifted sanctions on Russian oil (130 million barrels).

Russia sells its oil at record prices.

And finances its war in Ukraine from America’s pocket.
In short: America is paying for others’ wars while thinking it is winning.

  1. The religious factor — the hidden power no one talks about
    There are religious factions in Israel and America that genuinely believe this war is a prelude to the return of Christ.
    Blowing up Al-Aqsa Mosque and building the Third Temple is part of the plan.
    Netanyahu and Trump — according to Professor Jiang — are just tools in a project far older than them.
    This is one of the most dangerous statements in the episode, because when political decisions are driven by end-of-the-world ideology — there is no room for rationality.
  2. The ground invasion is coming — a new Vietnam
    America is considering sending 2,000 Marines to control Kharg Island (90% of Iranian oil exports).
    But Professor Jiang said clearly: “You can take it, but you cannot hold it.”
    What begins with 2,000 soldiers could end with half a million — just like in Vietnam.
  3. Weakening the UAE — the bubble is about to burst
    Dubai was built on the illusion of security.
    Simple Iranian strikes revealed the model’s fragility entirely.
    What was a “safe haven” became a target. And the confidence upon which all those towers were built is eroding.
    The UAE will not “end” — but its economic model will be severely shaken, because everything is based on the assumption of regional security — and that assumption has collapsed.
  4. Japan will recover — and China will decline
    Professor Jiang literally said: “If I had a billion dollars — I would put it all in Japan.”
    Japan has historically risen from anything: the Mongols, World War II, nuclear bombs.
    China, however: agricultural, closed, and unable to adapt to the new era.
  5. The West is collapsing from within
    Europe, Canada, and Australia are experiencing deliberate demographic change.
    The “democracy” that emerges looks more like the “organized demolition” of Western civilization.
    And the question: who is driving this? No one has a clear answer.

Conclusion
What Professor Jiang said tonight:
America is stuck in a quagmire it cannot escape.
Iran will return stronger after the war.
Israel achieves its expansionist dream.
China will be the biggest loser.
And the West destroys itself.

The remaining question:
If Professor Jiang predicted Trump’s victory and the start of the war — and he was correct…

On the face of it; though what Trump may say on day 1 may be the opposite of what he says on day 2, and both may be different than what he does on day 3 [etc].

The U.S. Congress is 99% “occupied”:

Ted Cruz, Lindsey Graham etc have blood on their hands, and gold in their pockets.

The facts speak for themselves, so there is little need to use such descriptive phrases as “fifth column” or “a state within a state“.

Having said that, there are other private ambulances in the UK, which may or may not (I do not know) also offer emergency cover.

I myself have only had private healthcare (insurance) in the past when living overseas at times (former Soviet Union, Caribbean), or travel insurance, and never had to call upon it.

I have no reason to suppose that such Jewish ambulance services would ignore a non-Jew suffering in front of the operatives concerned —if for example there were a car accident right in front of the private ambulance when it had not already been booked— but most people only have the option of calling a normal NHS 999 ambulance or paramedic.

English/British (i.e. non-Jew) citizens would not even know the emergency or other numbers for these “Hatzola” ambulances.

I am guessing, admittedly, but surely only Jews, and in certain areas of London, Manchester etc, would know those emergency numbers, and thus be in a position to appeal for help in the first place.

So it would seem that they are not —100%— “apartheid“-style Jewish-only services, but probably, admittedly at a guess, 99% so. If anyone knows differently, comment appropriately, and I may publish the comment or correction on the blog.

Of course, none of the above justifies the destruction of the “Hatzola” ambulances, any more than it would justify, mutatis mutandis, the destruction of private ambulances belonging to, say, BUPA or other private healthcare provider.

After all, if Jews in certain areas are using their Jewish ambulances, it must mean that they are not using NHS ambulances, thus ipso facto helping the non-Jew communities by not stretching the NHS skeleton service even more.

Still, it does show what a fractured society this now is, and how some people, some communities, are more privileged than others.

Finally, I note that £600,000-£700,000 has already been raised by Jews in order to replace the destroyed vehicles. Imagine that level of resource being available, within a few hours at that, to ordinary English/British communities…

Incidentally, and at least according to Google, “Achdus” seems to mean “day”, and “shacharis” seems to mean Jewish morning prayer services, presumably part of Israeli army routine.

A third factor may be (again, merely guessing from what I have read) that the Iranian counter-espionage groups have rolled-up many suspected MOSSAD, Aman, and CIA networks on the ground.

That does seem strange. After all, this was an act of criminal damage. Vehicle insurance should cover that, regardless of any (supposed) Iranian “terror” aspects. The insurers might try to wriggle out but surely a normal insurance policy would cover criminal damage, which is basically what this was.

Also, the UK Government is now going to stump up monies to buy new ambulances, while the normal ambulance service for English/British people is being cut back to nothing? Certainly gives the impression of prioritization of the Jewish community over the English/British…

Anyway, I read that well over £600,000 had already been raised by Jewish groups. Was that inaccurate? If not, why is the government wasting taxpayer money on vehicles not really available for most citizens, and when monies have already been raised anyway?

A totally incompetent and totally “occupied” Labour Friends of Israel government, headed by “Starmer-stein”.

This is a grey area. At what point does “public prayer” etc become religiously-tinged socio-political supremacism, a signal that the “praying” group’s tribe rules the roost?

Not just Muslims, by the way. Look at those busloads of Jew-Zionists engaging in quite deliberate Jewish “religious” (but really socio-political and supremacist) “dancing” in Oxford Street a couple of years ago.

In a different way, the same applies to that hugely ugly “holocaust” “memorial” planned to sit right next to the Palace of Westminster. It says “we are in charge of Parliament; we control it”…

Of course, Jews do not “pray” en masse in public spaces in the UK. For one thing, there are “only” 250,000-500,000 of them, as compared to 5 million Muslims (and that number growing fast via both immigration and births).

Secondly, Islam, like Christianity (historically, though not much today) is a proselytizing religion; it actively seeks converts. Judaism does not seek converts and, though some modern forms deviate, generally does not allow non-Jews to become quasi-“Jewish” on a whim or simply by choice.

Having said that, the Jewish/Israel lobby has attempted to show its power or influence via large or publicized public displays: apart from the “dancing Jews” in Oxford Street a couple of years ago, there was a large and illuminated “Hannukah” symbol in Trafalgar Square not so long ago, and a Jewish religious candlestick-holder shown prominently in a window of 10, Downing Street; also, the Israeli flag projected for several days onto the facade of 10, Downing Street a couple of years ago.

The fact is, that Israel, and its attendant Jewish lobby in the USA, UK etc, has launched this war, and demanded (maybe via the “Epstein files” blackmail of Trump) that the USA join in and add to the Israeli war machine’s power the immense forces available to the USA.

As for the UK, like the rest of Europe (EU and non-EU), we are going to suffer because of what the Israelis and Americans are doing. The UK should not be facilitating the madness in any way whatsoever.

I bet that book “forgets” to mention the influence of the Jewish lobby, though.

After his defeat (though a very honourable 2nd-place) at the Gorton and Denton by-election, Goodwin is not tweeting about Iran etc but is concentrating on his book, and on his Substack blog etc; he makes hundreds of thousands of pounds a year from that, GB TV etc.

Hunter matter, but also his order that a transcript of his judgment in the case (a judgment extremely, scathingly, critical of the dishonesty of the “CAA” and its Jewish lawyers) should be put before the judges in all future cases involving the “CAA”, and in particular all future private prosecutions (Jewish “lawfare”) brought by the “CAA”.

I am not a fan of the comedian in question (an American black who lives in the UK, I believe), and had in fact never heard of him until the CAA cabal started to try to have him arrested and prosecuted. They tried another way a couple of years ago.

Some readers of the blog may think that I supported Trump in both the 2016 and 2024 U.S. Presidential elections. In a sense, I did, but for one reason only, namely because I believed that Trump would not ignite a war between Russia and NATO, whereas Hillary Clinton might have, and Kamala Harris (a stupid woman completely under Israeli/Jewish lobby control, just like Biden) also might have. Avoidance of war, a war which might have gone nuclear, was pretty much my sole reason for preferring Trump to the alternatives.

Whatever happens in the present 2-front war being waged by Israel, in the long term, Israel has no future.

Not an issue that affects me personally now, though it would do were I still living in the large country house of which I had a lease in the 2002-2004 period. That house had an oil central heating system so complicated that two engineers had to come from the Midlands, maybe Derby, to tell us how to set the controls on the control panel (in the cellars), a panel that looked like something out of an old sci-fi film, or Stingray.

The oil was delivered by road tanker once a month, and they pumped enough to fill the tanks, so the price varied depending on usage, i.e. on the season.

As to the cost (and bear in mind this was well over 20 years ago), one cold January I got a bill for oil, for the month, of not much less than £700. For today’s value, I suppose you would have to add on the cost of coal and logs for the open fires (another £100 at least), then more than double it. Make it £1,600. For one month. That did not even cover heating the whole house, just some bedrooms, drawing room. library, kitchen/morning room area, Victorian conservatory, and the inner hall. We closed off many sections, including the ballroom.

God knows what the actual cost today, and/or soon, might be.

I am not a professional psychologist or psychiatrist, but I wonder what such a scientific or medical specialist would make of a patient who persistently minimizes the suffering, physical pain, or trauma of others, particularly that caused directly by the said patient, while magnifying or even inventing any trauma, inconvenience or irritation —however slight— of his or her own?

On the large scale, that is what we often see in the reactions of the Jews and Israel. The quantum of deaths (many of which are plain murder) and injury caused to the civilians of Gaza, numbered in the hundreds of thousands, and involving the death or mutilation of children and even babies, and over 2-3 years, daily, is answered by the screech “and what about the several hundred Jews killed on one day in 2023 by Hamas operatives?” [and also by Israeli free-fire protocols].

The starvation of many people in Gaza, and the death by starvation of some, is answered by Jews who either deny that there ever was starvation, or who say that “people only went hungry because Hamas militiamen took all the food generously allowed in by the Israeli Jews“, or that —in various ways— it is or was the fault of the starving children themselves, and/or of their families.

Jews (both from Israel and from countries such as the USA and UK) on Twitter/X etc often delight in adding to such comments pictures of Jews having a good time at barbecues, or enjoying the foods that form part of their quasi-religious supremacist holiday festivals.

If a school or hospital is bombed or rocketed by Israeli forces, and a Palestinian Arab platoon or military storage unit is later found there, or nearby, that is enough, in “their” psychology, to justify the “slaughter of the innocents” (usually described as, when admitted at all, “unfortunate collateral damage”).

Jews in the UK etc often deny that those suffering because of Jewish/Israeli actions are suffering at all, or if they are, are suffering by reason of their own defaults, and/or that the Israeli war machine is being somehow “kind” in the way in which it destroys people’s whole lives (for example, by dropping leaflets “advising” their victims to leave home before said home is blasted to pieces, together with the families who lived there, and their possessions).

However, if Jews in the UK, USA etc happen to see a swastika drawn on a steamed-up train window, or chalked by a child on a wall, the heavens fall, and the world almost comes to an end. The police even have to get involved, quite often, after such trivial matters are reported by hysterical Jewish organizations or individuals as “hate crime” or even “terrorism”.

I think that, were an individual person, a patient, with such traits, to present before, say, a psychiatrist, that patient would no doubt be found to have a severe case of some or another mental illness. What to say or do, though, when a whole people seems to have such traits?

In the real America, beyond the (Washington D.C.) Beltway, that “special relationship” concept has no traction whatsoever. I was in the USA fairly frequently from 1989-1993 and then from 1999-2002, and I never heard or saw the phrase used once, not by American colleagues etc, not on radio or TV, not even in the Press (and I bought the New York Times several times a week).

The “Special Relationship” is a largely-meaningless phrase, and always was, really, certainly after about 1956 (my own birth year but, more significantly in this context, Suez). Something with some reality, perhaps, from about 1941 to about 1956.

The phrase is only really heard from British politicians, talking-heads, and scribblers. In any case, the US/UK relationship has become a one-way street, with the USA getting all of the benefit.

Why should the lady tweeter assume that, just because someone (in this case, Dearlove) was Chief of SIS, that he really is worth listening to in his retirement, when he is making money in the private sector? I think it far more likely that the Solicitors Regulation Authority has (not for the first time) caught up with Lewis and so he has locked his now-quite-inactive Twitter/X account to avoid the embarrassment of random questions about that from people.

The UK Jew/Israel lobby almost succeeded, at first, in protecting Lewis from publicity (online, and in the Press etc) in 2018, when he was being prosecuted by the SRA for abusing people online. It may be that we shall discover that Lewis is again being put before another disciplinary tribunal, this time on more serious charges.

Incidentally, while Lewis had at one time a flat in Eilat, Israel, more recent information (unverified) seems to suggest that he is based, when not in the UK, in Netanya, near Tel Aviv.

That woman, Fiona-Natasha Syms, is the ex-wife of the former (until 2024) Conservative MP for Poole. Despite, in the past, having been generally pro-Israel, pro-Jew etc, she found that, when she expressed her horror at the mass slaughter of tens of thousands of Palestinian Arab civilians, the majority women and children, in Gaza, and the injury and mutilation of hundreds of thousands of others, her UK-resident Jewish “friends” all turned against her.

While it cannot be said for certain, it seems likely that either Israeli online hackers or other fanatically-Zionist Jews have targeted her. She, as someone who could not be, plausibly, labelled “antisemitic” (let alone “Nazi”, “neo-Nazi” etc), and as someone once well-connected in the Conservative Party, was a dangerous voice of truth and conscience about Gaza, Palestine, Israel etc on Twitter/X, and has probably been targeted by Jewish and/or Israeli elements for that reason.

9) The war is proving very expensive. The need to divert NIS 28 billion ($9 billion) to the military has forced the government to freeze social projects, leading to the first significant anti-government protests since the war began, specifically from the middle class bearing the tax burden.


10) They are aware that the war is very unpopular in the US and that Israel is being blamed. They are concerned about the ramifications for the alliance.

The past itself is rewritten to emphasise only its sins while ignoring its achievements.

Even the quiet symbolism of everyday life — the images on our currency, the names of our streets, the monuments in our squares — is steadily edited and sanitised.

What replaces these symbols is rarely anything meaningful.

Instead of historically significant figures who helped shape the nation, we are offered neutral, universal imagery that stands for almost nothing at all — landscapes, wildlife, abstractions.

On the surface this seems harmless.

But symbolism matters.

For centuries, historical figures served as cultural signposts, reminders of the history, struggles and achievements that shaped the nation and its people.

Remove those signposts, and something subtle but important begins to change.

The past becomes distant. Then contested. And then disposable.

Gradually, the story of a nation — its triumphs, failures, and defining moments — is hollowed out.

In its place emerges a new idea of national identity that is deliberately thin: one that defines Britain not through its history or traditions but through the abstract celebration of diversity itself.

In other words, the only thing that is meant to define us is that we have no defining identity at all.

The endpoint of this cultural project is not inclusion but historical amnesia, or cultural erasure.

A society that is detached from its past, uncertain of its traditions, and unsure of what binds it together.

This is what Sir Roger Scruton meant when he wrote: “A society that loses its memory loses its identity.”

And that loss happens gradually, through thousands of seemingly small decisions — a statue removed here, a curriculum altered there, a historical figure quietly replaced on a banknote.

Each individual change may appear insignificant.

But taken together they represent something far more profound: the slow disconnection of a people from their own history and collective memory.

A people who no longer really know who “we” are.

I doubt the bureaucrats who made this decision at the Bank of England fully grasp the cultural significance of what they are doing.

But intention is not the point. The effect is what matters.

When we remove the symbols of our past, we further weaken the very foundations of our identity.

Or Orwell warned: “The most effective way to destroy people is to deny and obliterate their own understanding of their history.”

This is what is happening and accelerating around us.

This is what Furedi meant by the “War Against Our Past”.

And this is why it really matters.

Not because of one banknote.

But because of the much larger cultural story it represents.“]

While I have great hostility to what Churchill did (especially the globally-disastrous war against the German Reich), he was and is still a towering modern historical figure (though arguably not quite as “towering” as his present admirers think).

To adapt one of Marx’s best-known aphorisms, though, the point is not only to understand what is happening, but to change the direction of travel, and that will almost certainly not be a “peaceful” process.

The whole idea of “political appointees” to ambassadorial positions (common in the US, rare in the UK) is not a good one.

James Callaghan appointed his son-in-law, Peter Jay, as Ambassador to the US in the mid-1970s. A criminal and terroristic tribe has taken over, or very strongly influences (via mass media, political funding, finance, banking, infiltration into legal systems, pressure groups etc), most Western governments.

Lebanon, Iraq, Libya, Syria…when will they learn? Turning it around, though, maybe the ultimate strategy is precisely to create chaos, civil war, banditry, the collapse of state institutions etc in the Middle East. The USA, like the UK, has in its midst a Jewish, Zionist, pro-Israel “fifth column” that has infiltrated not only business, finance, the legal world, publishing, and the mainstream media, but the highest councils of national policy. That lobby is the problem.

Whatever happens in the current ME conflict, one state already comes out as a winner— Russia. The world price of oil and gas has rocketed; Russia is a major producer of both. As the USA allows its dependent “ally”, Israel, to control US actions, American credibility slides worldwide, so that is a diplomatic win by default for Russia. Finally, the missiles and other weapons going to the attacks on Iran, and defence of Israel, will not be going to the Kiev regime. Overall, then, a tripartite win for Russia and Putin.

Wilfully deluded. Self-deluded. That mirrors my own experience of “them”. Always the “victims”, even when they are the ones conspiring, attacking, behaving as criminals and terrorists, and drawing first blood.

Also, in reality Dubai is a backwater, for all of its —until last week— frenetic business and tourist activity. If I wanted to live in a non-European backwater, and could choose, it would be somewhere like Rio, or the Caribbean, not the Middle East, certainly not the Arabian/Persian Gulf, and certainly not Dubai.

Talk TV, owned by a Rupert Murdoch company, is so amateur that it reported, inaccurately (and the lie may still be up on the Internet), that I was “jailed” after the malicious Jewish-lobby “Campaign Against Antisemitism” [“CAA”] pressure group cabal (a volunteer arm of the Israeli Embassy in London) managed to procure a criminal prosecution of me a few years ago (2023; sentencing was in 2024).

In fact, I did not even get a suspended sentence, just a brief “community order” (basically, a few hours of discussions with a probation lady, about 5 hours altogether) and a fine (some internet sites “reported” that I had been sentenced also to do “community service”, i.e. slave labour. Also, had Farage put in more walkabout time there.

That said, the by-election result is most significant for the fact that Labour was trashed and trodden down. The fact is that Reform UK, despite its flaws, is still riding high, up to 30% in opinion polling, with both Con and Lab as low as 15%. Gorton and Denton may have rejected Reform UK, but Reform is still on track to gain hundreds of MPs in other areas at the next general election.

I was just reminded that the distance from Tel Aviv to the border of Gaza is a mere 47 miles, almost exactly the distance from my one-time (2002-2008) barristers’ chambers in Exeter to my (leased only, sadly) country house on the Cornish side of the Tamar. Once or twice, in emergencies, I managed to go door to door in only 30 minutes (on the dual-carriageway of the A30 for most of the journey but including single-track lanes and, in Exeter, traffic and traffic-lights).
