“Pine martens return to Dartmoor after 150-year absence.
“Fifteen of the nimble, tree-climbing mammals were released last month at secret locations in Devon.
Fifteen pine martens are darting through the woods of Dartmoor for the first time in 150 years after the rare but recovering species was reintroduced into south-west England.
The nimble, tree-climbing mustelids were released last month at secret locations in the steep, tree-lined valleys of Devon in what conservationists are hailing as a historic step in the restoration of the region’s woodlands.
The eight adult females and seven males were caught from resurgent populations in Scotland, meticulously checked for health, and driven to 10 woodland pens, where they were released under the cover of darkness well away from people and busy roads. The threat of road traffic is a big risk for the mostly nocturnal animals.
Fitted with GPS or radio tags depending on their size (lighter radio tags were used on the smaller individuals), the animals were fed in the pens for three days to acclimatise, before the doors were opened and the martens slipped away into the night.
Pine martens were driven to extinction in England at the turn of the 20th century by the loss of forests and persecution, with gamekeepers in particular targeting the animals for preying upon pheasants and poultry.“
Such people are wedded to the idea that the job of the Civil Service is “the management of decline“, in the 1960s phrase.

Iranian attack on Israel
Puzzling to an observer. It seems that the attack was mostly if not entirely on military targets. The Israelis are keeping the scale of the damage secret. I had thought that there would be a large number of civilian casualties (as when the Israelis attack Lebanon, Gaza, Syria etc) but it seems that hardly any Israelis have been killed or even injured.
I have seen no indication of whether the Dimona nuclear weapons plant was hit.
Likewise, it seems odd that the main international airport suffered no, or no substantial, damage. I should have thought that that would have been a priority target.
Looking on from outside, it is hard to fully understand both the overall situation and the details, such as how many rockets (and of what type) Iranian forces have; likewise on the Israeli side.
Well, appoint members of the House of Lords from the bazaars of South Asia, from the slums of Jamaica and West Africa, and from the tribe of “the usual suspects”, and naturally the whole institution crumbles. Who would have guessed?…
NEW Overwhelming support for James Cleverly in 10 random interviews I’ve just done for @GBNEWS with members leaving the hall just now. Many have switched from other candidates. It seems Cleverly won the debate in the hall. Will MPs put him through to the final two next week?…
A half-African, with a “degree” in Hospitality Management from Ealing College, as Leader of the Conservative Party and, potentially, as Prime Minister? What could possibly go wrong? https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/James_Cleverly.
Having said that, the other three candidates are also bad jokes: a Nigerian woman married to a banker of uncertain provenance; a part-Jew former “chocolate soldier”; a dishonest and corrupt moneygrubber married to a Jewish woman lawyer. All three vocally pro-Israel.
At least Cleverly is rather less vocal in his support for Israel and the Jewish lobby.
I suppose that most scribblers and msm talking heads are expecting the Conservative Party to revive as Starmer’s hopeless government continues to falter (after only 3 months), but that may not happen.
For me, the most telling aspect of GE 2024 is that, in broad terms, out of every 20 eligible voters, 8 decided not to vote at all. Beyond that, out of the 12 that did vote, only 4 voted “Labour”, only 3 voted “Conservative”, and then 2 voted Reform UK, 2 voted LibDem, and 1 (just about) voted Green.
At present, the underwhelming Reform UK is the only game in town in terms of becoming an unofficial populist Opposition. The LibDems are just beneficiaries of a ridiculously illogical voting system. The “don’t know how to vote so vote LibDem” party.
None of the 4 contenders for Conservative Party leadership are really of any importance; none —say I— will ever be Prime Minister.

Illegal immigration is a scourge that is destroying the west. Countries have a duty to citizens to vet individuals who enter. Failure to do so it not merely irresponsible but potentially suicidal. https://t.co/F7rRMn3c7A
For someone such as John Rentoul, the political landscape is effectively unchanging. There will, he imagines, always be a “Conservative” Party, a “Labour” Party and a can’t-decide “dustbin” party (LibDems). There will, he thinks, never be radical or revolutionary change in the UK.
For the John Rentouls of this world, mass immigration is good or at least OK, and it is mainly beneficial, with a few small problems along the way. After all, in Hampstead and Highgate (socio-political) hurricanes hardly ever happen…
First @techneUK poll since election (showing change from election result) Lab 33% -2 Con 21% -3 Lib Dem 13% ±0 Reform 18% +3 Green 7% ±0https://t.co/A0QbyGgyEp
The Westminster Bubble journalists such as John Rentoul seem to have missed the main point about GE 2024, i.e. that “Labour”-label did not “win”; the “Conservative” Party lost, and it lost because the voters wanted to bin it. Labour’s fake “landslide” was merely an unavoidable by-product of that, as was the non-existent (despite the huge increase in seats) “LibDem upsurge”.
In reality, out of every 20 eligible voters, 8 decided not to vote (because there was no party they felt able to support, mainly). Of the remaining 12 that did vote, only 4 voted Labour, and many of those did so not because they really supported Labour but because they wanted to stamp on the last 14 years of “Conservative” misgovernment. Also, 3 of the 12 voted Con, 2 voted Reform UK, 2 voted LibDem, and (almost) 1 voted Green.
My point here is that voters voted primarily to bin the Cons.
Rentoul and his type are assuming that if, in 2028 or 2029, the voters want to bin Lab, they will revert to voting Con. Maybe not. Maybe they will, even if not much convinced, turn to Reform UK, whatever its flaws.
Look at that Techne UK poll. Both Lab and Con down 2 or 3 points, but Reform UK up 3 points. It is not improbable to imagine Reform UK getting 20% of the vote, and 25% is not impossible.
Hung Parliament territory, with the existing FPTP voting system.
What if the population were to turn like a school of fish, and 30% were to vote Reform UK? Still hung Parliament, but with Reform UK challenging Labour for the position of being largest party in the Commons.
Naturally, I could only support (or lead) a social-national party, and Reform UK is far from being that, but one can see that events (particularly the catastrophic and continuing migration invasion) may propel Reform UK higher over the next few years, and that will move —has already moved— the “Overton window”. Next stop— social nationalism.

Stats show using a public rapid charger cost 24.1p per mile, 16.4p for the slower public charger compared with 14.5p for petrol and 12.5p for diesel.
Homes which have a home charger are in much better shape due to dramatically cheaper electric meaning the journey will be between 2p to 7p a mile. But in cities three quarters of tenants and residents live in flats and terraces and therefore can’t have a home charging unit fitted and will have to use public chargers. This will turn out to be a big political issue as people will simply refuse to buy electric cars. The good news is that Ed Miliband will lose his job.
Electric car sales have stalled in the UK and fallen by 44% across Europe. The Times worked out that a London to Penzance return powered by super charger will be £148 compared with petrol at £89.”

Starmer is like one of the puppets used in those 1960s British children’s shows such as Thunderbirds or Stingray. At times, you can quite easily see the strings controlling his movements.
Starmer, Rachel Reeves, Yvette Cooper and the rest are all puppets of Jewish Zionism and the Israel lobby. Now intending to insist that every school student in the UK pays ritual obeisance to the “holocaust” mythus. Any who refuse, or do not tick all the required boxes (or who question the narrative, either as a whole or in detail), will probably be barred from higher studies.
This is an anti-British, anti-European, anti-historical dictatorship, controlled by an alien element, and which tries to impose an intellectual straitjacket on both history and politics.
As Starmer admitted, the contrived historical narrative is increasingly failing to convince British people; they are not interested, and/or do not believe the narrative usually blasted out at them.

I hardly think you’re in any position to comment on anyone’s suitability for anything. This is you isn’t it? “a nominated judge found that Recorder Myerson’s behaviour amounted to #misconduct.”https://t.co/j1k4nlMQqB
Myerson did not take that “advice” (reprimand) of March 2024 on board, continued to post vituperative tweets etc, and was then, in effect, sacked earlier this year (June or July 2024) as a Recorder (p/t judge), though he was allowed to present it as “resignation”.
Now Myerson is implying in his tweets that the (Israeli) Jews were “clever” in their Lebanon pager-explosive operation.
As a matter of fact, I agree with Myerson as to that. It was clever. It was also very wicked, particularly in that something like 1,000 people other than the supposed Hezbollah personnel killed, were injured; most if not all were ordinary passers-by, shoppers etc.
Thank God that someone as unpleasantly nasty as Myerson, and so lacking in basic decency, is no longer able to sit in the seat of legal judgment over British and other people.
One can see why the Bench had to have Myerson removed. He was —and is— unfit to pronounce judgment on anyone.
Thanks. I will. As you mourn the terrorists you so admire. From a safe place of course – you’d not actually want to be near them. Sleep well. Leave your phone outside.
Perhaps the Bar Standards Board might like to take a look at Myerson. I am not usually in favour of free-speech restriction, but in this case it would be only just, Myerson having been one of the Jews who (as an active member of “UK Lawyers for Israel”) had me disbarred for having posted a few tweets long after I ceased to be a practising barrister: see

Exactly. It is easy to be bien-pensant when the only non-whites you ever meet are of the educated and/or intelligent, or pleasant, few; especially when, if you are John Major, you have VIP protection and security where you live and whenever you travel.
John Major was a disaster for this country I seem to remember. The Maastricht Treaty which he signed up to without consulting the electorate didn't help. I actually once met him, when he was a bus conductor.
That last tweet is a typical example of false memory (or maybe an outright lie): John Major never was a bus conductor. He did apply, and was accepted for the job provisionally, but was rejected because he was too tall. He therefore never worked as a bus conductor, and that tweeter could therefore never have met him in that role: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Major#Early_post-school_career_(1959%E2%80%931979)
Such false memory is actually quite common. The noted —but apparently not much liked— big businessman, “Tiny” Rowland [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tiny_Rowland] was said to have once worked as a porter at Paddington Station (Wikipedia does not mention it, but I believe Rowland did work there as a porter, though only very briefly, and in the early part of the Second World War, when he was about 20).
A friend of mine, a lady who often walked through Paddington Station from the early 1960s to the late 1980s, sometimes told me (in the 1980s), when Rowland was in the news, that she remembered him as a young man working as a porter at Paddington.
My old friend did not, I think, mean to lie, but she was mistaken, and had to be. If and when Rowland was briefly a station porter, it would have been around 1939 or 1940.
The lady I knew would have been still in her teens then, having been born in 1926. She had been born in East Prussia (on her family’s vast estate, or one of them), had attended the Sacre Coeur convent school in Paris for a year just before the Second World War, but was then a kind of hostage under NKVD control in the Soviet Union for 3 years, at first in a prison on a river island on the Kazakhstan-Russia border, then working briefly on a state farm before becoming a student-nurse. When she escaped from the Soviet Union in 1942, she was just 16. She was in Persia, and then British East Africa. She first visited London sometime in the late 1940s, but not for long.
In other words, my old friend could never have seen Rowland as a porter (assuming he ever was one), Rowland having been working in business in the City of London during the early/mid 1940s and then, from 1948, in the then Southern Rhodesia (the later Rhodesia and then Zimbabwe).
We often see false memory, not least in (mainly Jewish) recollections of life in Germany and Poland during the so-called “holocaust” years of the early/mid 1940s. It is often hard to say which of the hundreds, indeed thousands, of accounts are simply misremembrances and which are outright frauds, but both are very common.
…and that has been only about 5% of the full migration-invasion figure…
For decades all political parties have duped the public into thinking the NHS is the 'best in the world. ' It's not. Many European health services are way better. In a league table, the NHS is just above the relegation zone or, at best, in midtable obscurity.#politicslive

I would urge anyone arrested, and (unlike that lady) charged with anything effectively “political”, to plead Not Guilty.
Force the System to attempt to prove the case, and force the politicized police and “Clown” Prosecution to spend time and resources on the matter, and so (in terms of time) “kick the can down the road”.
If you do that, the System drones may have to drop the case (in the case reported on, of course, it never got that far; she was never charged). If you plead Not Guilty, the case may only be tried after many months (and if heard in Crown Court, maybe even a couple of years).
True, if convicted after a trial, you may get a sentence notionally more severe than had you pleaded (Guilty) to the charge, but these politicized cases are now being treated absurdly and unfairly harshly anyway. As far as Crown Court cases are concerned, we have seen people sentenced to years of imprisonment for doing really not very much, while real (non-political) criminals are often getting very lenient punishment.
I am not so sure that, from the perspective of a “political” “criminal”, there is much difference between getting, say, 15 months in prison on a Not Guilty plea then resulting in conviction after a trial, and 10 months on a Guilty plea.
The “political” convict, often someone of previous good character, or at least “not so bad” character, ends up in prison anyway in the current climate, either way.
In terms of time, too, a 15 month sentence might translate to 6 months actually incarcerated (40% of 15 months), as compared to 4 months after a Guilty plea and a sentence of 10 months. Still extra time, of course.
There is also the point that a Not Guilty plea might pay off in terms of you, as defendant, being found Not Guilty on technical grounds by a magistrate/District Judge or on a (Crown Court) Judge’s direction. Or you might be found Not Guilty by a magistrate, or a Crown Court jury.
There is also the possibility that something may happen during the trial, esp. if in the Crown Court, to render the trial ineffective.
In cases where imprisonment is never likely to happen, there may be little difference between being found guilty after a trial and pleading Not Guilty ab initio.
In my own case, related here below, I would never have pleaded Guilty under any circumstances anyway. As it was, I very nearly got off on technical grounds at “half time” (at the close of the Prosecution case).
My trial continued, however, and I was pronounced guilty by the District Judge, though on slightly confused (in my opinion) grounds.
My sentence was firstly to pay the purely notional costs of the trial and also to pay a “victim surcharge” (just another impost), the two together adding up to £734. Secondly, I was to complete 15 “rehabilitation days” under the supervision of the Probation Service.
Of course, the Jew-Zionists of the “Campaign Against Antisemitism” [“CAA”], who had procured the case against me by suborning the police and CPS in my county of residence, and who pressured the CPS politically, and quite improperly, to prosecute me, were livid at the perceived “leniency” of the sentence, so much so that it took them days, in fact I believe 2-3 weeks, to respond on Twitter/X and their own website. I can just imagine them fuming and arguing about it.
Well, a few generous donors who read the blog sent just over a third of the financial penalty monies, via a crowdfunder I established; the rest I paid off (I still have one small-ish payment left to pay) on a monthly basis. Irritating but not too onerous.
As to the “15 rehabilitation days”, it turned out that each “day” was a meeting with the Probation Service, the meetings as short as 20 minutes in a couple of cases (though 3 or 4 such meetings did for some reason not count toward the 15).
There was no “rehabilitation day” as long as an actual day, or even half a day.
Until a few weeks ago, I thought that I had only done about 3 or 4 actual “rehabilitation days” (meetings) counting towards the 15. However, I was then told that, by reason of larger-scale events not connected with me personally, my “days” were finished and I would be (as I have now been) deemed to have completed the “15” days to which I was sentenced.
So there it is. The politicized police (our new poundshop Stasi) and the politicized CPS, apparently spent hundreds of hours, maybe even thousands of hours, “trawling through” (as the CPS put it) hundreds of blog posts. The costs in terms of police and CPS time must have been large. The CPS instructed outside Counsel to prosecute. That barrister made several appearance prior to trial, at trial, and after trial, when (briefed again by, shall we say, “the fat lady” singing) he made a doomed attempt both to restrict my freedom to blog and to make the sentence more severe (only to find that the sentencing judge agreed with me).
All that money and effort, taking well over a year by the end, not to mention Court time, and the only result was that I had to pay out a few hundred pounds and meet a (rather polite and charming) young Probation Service lady about 7 or 8 times.
Further to the above, of course a defendant can appeal a Guilty verdict. In my case, it was expedient not to do so, though I considered that I had a 50-50 chance of success.
I was never arrested, incidentally, just charged by postal requisition, and was on unconditional bail throughout the proceedings in court.
Naturally, I should never have been bothered by the police, let alone charged or prosecuted.
A fortiori, I should never have been convicted or sentenced, but there it is.
My own perception of my trial and sentence, and the aftermath:

Dan Hodges seems to have forgotten (assuming that he ever knew) that, in the Soviet Union, in Stalin’s day and even afterward, ordinary criminals were often treated better than “politicals”.
In any case, the “police state” aspect in question is not Hodges’ “early release” red herring but the incarceration of people for minor disorder, or for tweeting comments etc.
The present UK situation is similar (don’t forget Starmer’s extreme pseudo-socialist ideological background): the real criminals are being released after having served only 40% —with other measures in place, as little as 20%— of their headline sentences, but —by any other name— political, or treated as political, prisoners are being swiftly incarcerated, and are being more harshly sentenced as well.
Incidentally, not only those convicted following the recent protests and/or “riots” (nb. I myself do not consider saying “boo!” to a police riot squad operative, pushing at his plastic shield, looting a sausage-roll shop, or even overturning the odd police car, a “riot” nor indeed a “political protest” as such).
A while ago, I read that a young man had served his entire headline sentence (6 years, I think), having been convicted on one of those trumped-up bs pseudo-“terrorism” charges the UK police and Clown Prosecution Service seem to love today (they often involve an accusation that the accused shared some or another “terrorist” material online, and at the same time owned completely lawful objects such as copies of Mein Kampf or a picture of Hitler; random pieces of circumstantial “evidence” put in to bamboozle a typical low-IQ rubber-stamp “British” jury).
More broadly, the lack of real knowledge of history is widespread now. As G.K. Chesterton said, he feared the uneducated less than he feared the badly-educated.
The “Chaser”, Jenny Ryan [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Jenny_Ryan], fluffed the question “which of these three was first to be named as Time magazine Man of the Year in 1923?“, the three being Mussolini, Hitler, or Stalin.
I thought Mussolini (because of the October 1922 March on Rome, after which Mussolini became Prime Minister), and that turned out to be the correct answer. However, it occurred to me that there was at least a possibility that the correct answer would be Hitler (because of the Beer Hall Putsch of November 1923).
However, Jenny Ryan, “the Vixen”, thought that Stalin was the right answer, afterwards commenting that she had “thought that Stalin was a much bigger figure back then“, thus showing ignorance of the history of all three countries concerned (Stalin’s more or less supreme power in the Soviet Union only dated from about 1928, though it increased from 1924; in 1923, Lenin was still alive, and the leadership still somewhat collegial). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Joseph_Stalin#1924%E2%80%931927:_Succeeding_Lenin.
“The Vixen” later made another mistake on the same show, in failing to choose Offa as the answer to a question on Anglo-Saxon history; she chose “Cnut” (Canute), but he was not even an Anglo-Saxon king (though admittedly a king during the Anglo-Saxon period). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Offa_of_Mercia; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Cnut.
That’s the problem with such quiz shows, esp. The Chase. The “Chasers” and others have memorized lists, and (some) facts, but generally have no real in-depth background. I have noticed that with other Chasers, such as “The Beast”, Mark Labett.
“A little knowledge is a dangerous thing“, especially in political journalism.
Au contraire. Starmer and his pack (Yvette Cooper etc) do care about free speech— about shutting it down, that is.
This government response to a letter from over 500 academics concerned about the repeal of the Higher Education (Freedom of Speech) Act is disappointingly partisan and ill-informed. https://t.co/ingyVTTbaWpic.twitter.com/9GqW8udVrO
In the end, though, the Starmer-Labour government, for all its “massive majority” triumphalism, only got the votes of 4 people out of every 20 (eligible), 4 out of every 12 people (that voted). Quite a number of even the voters that voted Labour only did so to make sure that the Conservative Party lost the election.
The real support for Labour is about 10% of the population. The real support for the attack on free speech etc is even smaller, only a few percent of the whole population.
Starmer and Labour have no legitimate mandate.

“Storming a plane, arresting someone, & sentencing them to prison for 20months…For being ‘among a group of people’ & ‘throwing a single item’… Then Police making a social media boast video, complete with music, about it (while turning comments off). http://What.On.Earth ?! Did I fall asleep & wake up in China or something.
Meanwhile… A) You can literally be filmed (allegedly) battering police officers in an airport & be released on bail to do press conferences etc, whilst still weeks later remaining uncharged. B) You can sexually assault children in the sea and go without even being described in the press. Tho people are supposed to be ‘helping look for you’. C) You can be a convicted child rapist and avoid jail if you break your license terms ‘because there is no space’.
This country is becoming a complete basket case. Shame on anyone who celebrates this situation.”
I agree.
The police and Clown Prosecution Service love the “performative” stuff such as “storming” a plane to arrest someone (rather than waiting until the passengers disembark and go through immigration in the normal way, then quietly detaining the suspect).
It’s all part of the Starmer-Labour poundland police state and TV/Press show for the masses. Pretending that throwing a plastic bollard or a wheelie bin is “terrorism” etc.

If ever you needed confirmation that Lily Allen is a truly awful human being it’s her getting rid of her dog because her own stupidity meant she left passports in a place that the dog could get to them https://t.co/97M5QPM5iM
I know (and want to know) little about Lily Allen, but everything that I have heard or read about her makes me despise her.

Let us hope that something unpleasant happens to Lily Allen.
I shall be hoping that bad luck strikes her.

That whole area of complex-sounding but meaningless bs is its own “industry” of nothingness now. It has ballooned over the past half-century, mostly in quiet corners of academia and the civil service. People may call me “biased”, but I should like to bet that much of it (if not all) started with “the usual suspects” (((them))). (cf. Freudian psychoanalysis).

Keir Starmer’s failure to protect public safety while targeting social media critics is disgraceful, especially given his long tenure as a prosecutor. His problem is he’s a prosecutor trying to play PM with a lock-'em-up attitude, betraying public trust.
Who would have thought it? Still, no doubt (in the tiny little minds of Starmer, Yvette Cooper, and ludicrous “lord chancellor” Shabana Mahmood) that real criminals doing real crime is the better option, as compared to middle-aged housewives and others being released and then making socio-political remarks on Facebook or Twitter.

Readers may be surprised to see me repost tweets from now-binned former MP [High Peak], Robert Largan, a conscious tool of the Jewish lobby, but I certainly agree with him about the necessity for architecture to be both beautiful and functional.
I have not been to Dresden, though I was once, in 1988, not far away. As to Manchester, I appeared a few times c.2007 as Counsel at the County Court, at that time situated at Crown Square; I believe that the Crown Court still sits there.
I have, once only, seen Piccadilly Gardens, Manchester, but that was even earlier, sometime in the mid-1980s, maybe 1985 or 1986, when the Georgian State Dance ensemble was performing in and around the city (they also went to Preston). The dancers, stage people, interpreters, KGB, and me (unpaid, and uncredited in any way) were all staying in a fairly ghastly hotel called the Britannia, not far from those Gardens (not even a park, but just a flat area of grass, with a few very low and scrubby hedges). I wandered down to pass the time one early evening. Once was enough.
Incidentally, I also saw the Manchester Royal Infirmary, the main hospital, because one of the Georgian dancers had cut his hand right down to the bone as he and others were practising with their swords (part of their spectacular dance act). The swords were razor-sharp, sharpened daily in order to create the sparks that flew during the performance.
The interpreters, including my then girlfriend, were all busy with the performance that evening, so I was asked to accompany the dancer (who only spoke Georgian and Russian, no English) to the hospital in a taxi.
At the hospital, I tried to have him seen to at once (there was a lot of waiting around), and I think we were seen slightly ahead of time, though not soon enough for the Georgian, who though pleasant had the impatience typical of his countrymen. The nurses (if my memory serves) were both pretty and pleasant, as well as efficient (once deployed). So the Georgian survived to fight (onstage) again, and indeed I believe he was the one chosen to meet Mrs. Thatcher when she visited either Moscow or Tbilisi (I think the latter) in a later year.
Those dancers certainly put on a superb show (which I saw for free in Manchester, Preston and some other places). The women in their long costumes seemed to glide rather than walk or dance.
A long time ago now, nearly 40 years…
[a more recent Georgian dance show]
Went to Dresden in 92. Although the Churches and palaces had been restored the ordinary buildings were all gone. Wonderful to see it as it should be
Largan’s comment also refers to the recent statement by thick-as-two-short-planks Angela Rayner, re. Starmer-Labour’s apparent intent to build millions of ugly hutches, in the once green and pleasant countryside, in which to stable migrant-invaders.
The amazing reconstruction of the Frauenkirche in Dresden, completed in 2005.
So a narrative has been created and is spreading out across mainstream media. I saw it this morning on both BBC News and Sky News.
The narrative goes something like this: “a tiny group of ‘far-right’ social media influencers incited a larger group — but still a tiny proportion of the population— to smash things, to riot, and to express ‘hate’ against non-whites and especially Muslims, but ‘the community’ gathered in huge numbers to beat off their attempts to sow ‘division’.“
In reality, there were fairly large gatherings here and there in protest against what has been happening in the UK, especially as regards migration-invasion, and especially what has been developing in the large cities, over the last 30 years. A much smaller group of silly people went further, looting shops and playing into the hands of the System, which then went into “police state” dictatorial mode. “Useful idiots” also started to demand the shutdown of all free speech platforms, such as Twitter/X.
At the same time, the BBC and Sky started to show a Soviet-style melange of grey-haired people in churches praying for “peace”, and a few large crowds of supposed “antifascists” (posing as “the real citizens” etc).
London has a Metro-area population of 15M, so a crowd of 5,000 or even 15,000 is really a very small percentage, not even a tenth of 1%. In reality, it seems that even the largest “counter-protest” (at Walthamstow in N.E. London) consisted of only about 1,000 persons, many from elsewhere: https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c623g0xnrero.
The lesson is— “don’t trust the mainstream media”.
The elephant in the room is mass immigration, which continues, day after day. 100-1,000 daily across the Channel, illegally; also, another 3,000 or so “legally”, by air and sea, every day.
I imagine that the present protests and their riotous offshoots will die out…for now. As to what might happen in a year’s time, or 10 or 20 years, we shall see. I don’t mean street protests that, in themselves, achieve little, but political and para-political upheavals.
The DDR (East Germany) could not hold back popular discontent in the end. Do Starmer and Yvette Cooper think that they can hold back the tide?

In 2016, I warned if governments did not listen to the British people and end mass immigration then public concern would return with a vengeance
It is now the top issue for Brits –ahead of the economy, crime, the NHS, housing
Many and indeed almost all of the other problems of the UK have been caused, or made much worse, by the migration-invasion that started as long ago as the 1950s, became a river by the 1980s, and became a torrent after 1989 and especially after 2001. The only word that can now describe it is tsunami. It will break this society apart.
A majority of Americans now oppose using U.S. troops to defend Israel from Iran. Support has dropped to just 41%, and only 35% of independents and Democrats support military intervention to defend Israel –Report pic.twitter.com/5d1grtTmnc
At least 2% should be chopped off those figures, the Jewish proportion of the US population. If the known (((ownership))) of the mass media were not as it is, brainwashing the American public, the figure overall would reduce to not much more than that 2%.
That lady is very mistaken though, if she really believes that “legal” immigration is not a problem. Indeed, it is far more of a problem, because 10x or even 20x the number of the “illegals”.
If the Labour councillor calling for outright murder doesn’t get more than this we know we’re living in a two tier totalitarian state with a fascist leftie dictator in charge. The courts literally spewing out the same statements as number 10. Supposedly independent. #TwoTierKeir
People allegedly part of the more riotous recent protests are not being bailed (as almost all would normally be) prior to sentence (if they pleaded guilty) or prior to trial (if they pleaded not guilty). This is quite obviously covert interference by the political element over the supposedly “independent” judicial element. Indeed, Starmer purported to lay down such practice in his poundland-dictator speech the other day.

“The chair of the Criminal Cases Review Commission has rejected calls from the justice secretary to resign after a report on its handling of the Andrew Malkinson case laid bare “a catalogue of failures”.
The new justice secretary, Shabana Mahmood, said Pitcher was “unfit to fulfil her duties” and that she was seeking her removal in light of the findings. It is understood that she made her position clear to Pitcher on Thursday morning in the hope that she would resign.
But Pitcher said she was the “best person” for the job and that she had no intention of standing down.
James Burley, who led Appeal’s investigation into Malkinson’s case, said the report was “utterly damning” and detailed “a catalogue of failures by the CCRC”.
He said: “No one can doubt now that the CCRC is a broken safety net which sets the bar unreasonably high for innocent prisoners trying to clear their names. The CCRC must be completely overhauled.”
“Helen Pitcher OBE Chair of the Judicial Appointments Commission talked to Bhini Phagura from Raydens solicitors about her career.
Tell us about your career progression which led to your appointment as the Chair of the Judicial Appointments Commission:
“I studied law at QMC London and used this degree as a basis for a career in commerce, where I rapidly progressed up the ranks to become an Executive and Divisional Director in Grand Metropolitan. I retained a footprint in the law in various roles related to Standards, Fairness, Equity and Diversity.“
Well…wouldn’t you just know it?
There’s more:
“The first role I held in parallel to my Commercial career was as a lay representative of the Professional Conduct and Complaints Committee of the Bar Council.” [now split into the Bar Standards Board and the Bar Disciplinary Tribunal].
Yes, there is usually at least one useless woman of this sort sitting (well-paid, too), but doing nothing, when a Bar Disciplinary Tribunal sits. In 5-person tribunal cases (as mine was, in fact wrongly— it should have been a 3-person tribunal, which has no power to disbar) there are usually two such women (they always seem to be women, as on benches of lay magistrates), invariably a pair of unsmiling and stupid “bookends”. Useless box-tickers. See also https://ianrobertmillard.org/2017/07/09/the-slide-of-the-english-bar-and-uk-society-continues-and-accelerates/.
“I also became a lay representative on the Employment Appeal Tribunal and still hold this office.
I then joined the Queens Counsel (as it was then) Selection Panel and rapidly became its chair. Whilst there we improved the Diversity Statistics.“
Again the “diversity statistics“… Why am I not at all surprised?
“I held this role for 9 years. On stepping down, I decided not to apply for another role as I also had a burgeoning Consultancy and Portfolio Career. About 18 months later, however, an advertisement for the role of the Chair of the CCRC (Criminal Cases Review Commission) was brought to my attention.
Last year the role of Chairman at the JAC (Judicial Appointments Commission) became available. A Headhunter contacted me having uncovered my background on LinkedIn. I checked with the MoJ that there was no conflict of interest and submitted my application. On December 31st following a Justice Select Committee earlier in the month, I was appointed and took up the post on January 16th [2023].”
My role as chair involves leading the Board, ensuring appropriate oversight on governance and providing appropriate challenge and support to the executive. I am also involved in some of the most senior appointments.
I have rationalised my portfolio (which was a Commitment I gave to the JSC) in order to ensure I have the appropriate amount of time to devote to this key role.
You are holding this role for 3 years from January 2023, what are your aims/goals?
The strategic aims were already set, however they are due for a refresh as the period they covered draws to a close. These aims, which are developed in conjunction with the Board and executive, are on our website and thus in the public domain.
Our primary purpose set out by statute is to recruit on merit, our secondary (and no less important role) is to assist the rest of the judicial system to increase the diversity pool. It is for this reason that I also chair the Judicial Diversity Forum, which has a clear action plan to achieve its aims.”
So the secondary role is as important as the primary one? How muddled and wrongheaded is the stupid woman?
[Legal Women (online-only) magazine]
The interview is rather badly written, unfortunately, with superfluous upper-case here and there; as can be seen, it is the product of an Indian woman.
Well, there we have it. That greedy and plainly incompetent Pitcher woman has made a whole career, and no doubt a very lucrative one, out of “diversity”, tokenism etc. First of all, in her own person, by being a “token woman”, or one token woman, on commercial and quango boards. Secondly, by being a Trojan horse for more “diversity” and “inclusion” (etc) in important public offices.
Helen Pitcher, who seems to me to be a useless “diversity” box-ticker, has, inter alia, sat in the seat of judgment over employment appeal cases, over the cases of supposedly defaulting barristers etc, and has even been (and apparently still is) the head of the body which appoints judges, including those at the highest level.
Helen Pitcher is, at time of writing, doing, and of course getting paid for doing, several different jobs simultaneously. She is probably making between half a million and a million pounds a year. For what? Ruining various bodies? Ticking various “diversity” and “anti-racism” boxes? Shoving our society further into the mire?
Look at how Helen Pitcher is clinging on to her CCRC role, presumably in order to maximize the money she gets before she is forced out. At least, that seems to me to be her motivation. Very telling, if so.
This latest scandal, including Helen Pitcher’s “march through the institutions”, is so typical of the way in which things generally have been allowed to develop in the UK in the past 30+ years.
You can see the way the UK is going, at least partly because of stupid and over-promoted women such as Helen Pitcher (and, yes, also men, not infrequently)— straight down.
God knows what state this country will be in in 2029 or 2034, let alone 2054 (which last I shall not have to witness, thank God, not from the Earth plane anyway).
Andrew Malkinson has called the former head of the miscarriage of justice watchdog “shameless” as she resigned from the job saying she had been “scapegoated for entirely legitimate decisions” taken over his case.
Helen Pitcher handed in her resignation as chair of the Criminal Cases Review Commission (CCRC) on Tuesday afternoon after learning that an independent panel had concluded by a majority of two to one that she was no longer fit to be chair.
In a letter to the justice secretary she said she felt that she had been chosen as a “scapegoat at an early stage” for the Malkinson case and that “a head had to roll and I was chosen for that role”.
Malkinson said: “Helen Pitcher’s attempt to portray herself as the victim here is shameless.
The Guardian revealed thatPitcher had been in Montenegro promoting her property business in the weeks after Malkinson’s conviction was overturned and the organisation was in crisis after its failure to apologise to him.“
[Guardian]].
“Her property business” (as well as all the rest)?
Helen Pitcher thus managed to blag another 6-7 months’ pay and expenses, and pension contributions, when she should have resigned in mid or early 2024.
“Shameless” indeed, the horrible and avaricious old hag.

“Summary of the Israeli strike according to what is known so far: – Approximately 25 F-15 and F-35 aircraft, accompanied by refueling planes, flew about 2000 kilometers toward the city of Hodeidah in Yemen.
– The strike was carried out in 8 waves.
-The attack destroyed fuel depots, inflicted damage on the port, and destroyed a power station north of the port.
– The fire is still burning and is expected to continue for several more days.
– There is a power outage across the entire region.
– The message of the strike is clear: this is not a strike on military targets (which has been done by the coalition over the past 9 months) but an attack on the already struggling Yemeni economy, causing significant economic damage.
– The attack on the port is a direct response to the damage Yemenis have caused to the port of Eilat.
– The message to the rest of the Middle East is also clear: the Bandar Abbas port and the Kharg Island, from where most of Iran’s oil is exported, are in Israel’s sights, as well as the port of Beirut.
– Israel has decided to take off the gloves; this is not a minor strike like those in Iran.
– The Houthis are threatening to retaliate, but it is unclear what the threat entails, as they have already attacked Israel 200 times.”

Middle East, Ukraine, Eastern Europe, Far East. All now under threat of major regional wars.
Even worse, those maniacs are actually considering Hillary Clinton. Direct war with Russia will then be a certainty.
There are too many egos at stake, and too many sunk costs. What this means is that the pro-Ukrainian true believers won't concede anything has collapsed until Kiev is under Russia's control.
“Ukraine lines are collapsing. After 380 billions of aid pledged to Ukraine since the war begin; 118 billion are direct military aid; many countries literally emptied out entire inventory countless military units to give their weapons to Ukraine. Ukraine is STILL losing grounds everyday. Lost 5 towns in the past 48hrs. The fortress city of Krasnohorivka is falling as we speak; Russia threatens cut the Oskil Frontlines in half with the likely capture of Pishchane. Still not collapsing? This is not collapse of frontlines, then what is?“
I'm no military man, but from a purely common sense perspective, assessing the saleability in terms of effective manpower Ukraine has left, disregarding poorly trained conscripts thrown uselessly into the meat grinder, then the rubber and road meeting indeed appears to draw near.

One aspect of London that seems to have radically improved in recent years, though, is the public transport network. New lines, new trains, new ways of travelling around the conurbation. Crossrail/Elizabeth Line for one. I do not speak, however, from personal experience of the new lines, just from what I have read online.
Universities are the Home Office basically, and their policy is open borders – often with taxpayer funds. https://t.co/AxJRdv9XFd
Well over 20 years ago, in 2000, I happened to meet and get to know (somewhat), in Bournemouth, a young blonde woman (20 or so) I first encountered in a photography shop, and who was very proud of her father, vice-Chancellor of (if I remember aright) Lancaster University. She talked about him rather a lot, and thus I learned that (again, if I remember aright) his salary was over £200,000 a year, which would be pretty good even today, by most people’s standards. In fact, the Bank of England online calculator shows that you could almost double that in today’s money. So today— maybe £400,000.
The tertiary educational sector in the UK has been a kind of “rotten borough” for a long time. At least 30 years.
Matt Goodwin
I notice that the “alt-Right” (?) academic and commentator, Matt Goodwin, has retweeted a tweet about the UNRWA by the malicious and publicity-seeking Jew-Zionist org, “Campaign Against Antisemitism”. Foolish. The credibility of that malicious cabal is shot; even most pro-Israel Jews are against its activities and behaviour. By retweeting the “CAA”, Goodwin risks his own credibility too.

My own admittedly anecdotal and completely unscientific guess for this area (coastal western Hampshire), is that support for the lazy and useless Conservative Party incumbent has slumped, but that he is so entrenched in this ultra-safe Con heartland that he will survive without too much trouble.
I did see, somewhere or other, one Con Party poster, a while ago, and I have seen one solitary Labour one now; an outlier in a constituency where Labour usually comes in third or even fourth; Labour only managed (a very poor) second once (in 2017, under Corbyn). I have, however, now seen quite a few LibDem posters.
The LibDems usually come second here, and their high point was in 1997, when they still only scored 27.8%.
The only joker in the pack is Reform UK. Their likely vote is unknown in this constituency, but may reach 20%; we shall see.

Protecting just 1.2% of the Earth’s surface for nature would be enough to prevent the extinction of the world’s most threatened species, according to a new study.
Analysis published in the journal Frontiers in Science has found that the targeted expansion of protected areas on land would be enough to prevent the loss of thousands of the mammals, birds, amphibians and plants that are closest to disappearing.
From Argentina to Papua New Guinea, the team of researchers identified 16,825 sites that should be prioritised for conservation in the next five years to prevent imminent extinctions of animals and plants found nowhere else.”

NEW POST. Is support for Nigel Farage and Reform SLIDING? What the latest polls suggest after Nigel Farage's Ukraine commentshttps://t.co/L58R1GN7Sd
Most people in the UK are not pro-“Ukraine” in the sense of being pro-Zelensky and his brutal yet shambolic regime. Many are sorry for the ordinary people there, and their companion animals —indeed, that applies to me too, which is why I hoped for a very swift Russian victory in 2022— but few really support the Kiev regime to the point at which it becomes a UK General Election issue.
I do not think that Reform UK is sliding. In any case, many postal votes have already been cast, often by the middleaged and elderly people who are more likely to vote Reform UK.
Only 8 days now separate us from Election Day. Many people are angry, and almost all want to bin the Sunak-led Conservative Party, or even the Con Party under other management. I still think that many of the “undecided 20%”, if they vote, may decide to back Reform UK. We shall see.
I should not be surprised to see Reform get to 20% in the end. At the present, the election remains to that extent open. The Cons are surely doomed, and Labour, without much merit, looks heavily odds-on not only to win but to win at a level which may turn out to be historic. However, the level of Starmer’s victory is still undecided, as is the extent to which the very uninteresting LibDems will, purely as an electoral side-effect, have their MP numbers boosted. Perhaps by as many as 70 in total, almost certainly by 30-40 in total.
The number of Con MPs after 4th of July may be as few as 40 or as many as 140. My guess has always, in the past months, been closer to 40 than 140.
Whoever wins and whatever the detail, the bottom line is that the incoming Labour government will be trying to install a police state. That will have to be fought.

Look at how free speech, freedom of expression has become largely a thing of the past in the UK. Also, consider how there is a double standard: anyone social-national, or even conservative-national (even someone as basically near-centre-ground as Farage) is under far more scrutiny and restriction than either the hostile Jewish/Zionist Israel-lobby element or the often-connected “antifa” types, let alone the “useful idiots” of the transnational conspiracy, such as the Black Lives Matter nonsense, the Just Stop Oil and Extinction Rebellion pawns etc.

Johnny Mercer voted to cut veterans benefits. Took £85k from a Veterans Charity. Pays his wife £45k a year. Took an extra £30k a year being a Veterans Minister and did nothing except vote against them.
As previously blogged, I have been disappointed in Mercer. I thought that the ex-officer would be a breath of fresh air and integrity at Westminster. In fact, he has been basically useless and, worse than that, rather a freeloader, even somewhat corrupt (in my opinion).
I rather like the humorous and sometimes combative tweets of his wife, but they cannot save him. Time to bid adieu.

Natalie Elphicke
This isn't true. All MPs leaving will get nearly £20k as a "winding down payment". Additionally those that fight the GE will get an additional redundancy sum according to their time in parliament. Elphicke has been there 1 term so it would have been be something less than £5K.
Whatever the facts of that, there are facts that are indisputable: Natalie Elphicke could have stood at GE 2024 as Con Party candidate. She received 56.9% of the vote in 2019 under that aegis.
I was puzzled as to why Natalie Elphicke crossed the floor, she after all knowing that a general election had to be called sometime before a date in January 2025. Does she have some better offer from outside Parliament? Seems doubtful to me.
Natalie Elphicke gives me a dual impression: not particularly intelligent, but particularly focussed on her own ambitions.
As a former member of Lincoln’s Inn, I have met several people over the years who were (as was Natalie Elphicke— see the Wikipedia entry) beneficiaries of Hardwicke scholarships. None impressed.
I saw this comment:
“Hardwicke Scholarships aren’t that prestigious. A mere submission of an application is more than enough to win one. They give about 150 away each year, and not many more people apply to each inn for a scholarship, surprisingly enough.” [online commentator].
I think that the real figure is nearer to 100 than 150.
To intrude a personal comment, I recall a young blonde lady barrister who (unsuccessfully, in all cases) opposed me in court a number of times during 2002-2008 when I was in chambers in Exeter (she was in another set, also in Exeter). She was a former Hardwicke scholar, just like Natalie Elphicke. I used to think of her as “Mrs Malaprop”, because her use of English was so poor. Comically so. A pretty poor barrister in terms of both legal knowledge and presentation, in my view, though wearing a sense of self-importance as thick as a suit of armour.
I had better not name that lady, mainly for reasons of propriety (I am too poor now to be worth suing; and there would be no basis for such a suit anyway). I just looked her up online for the first time, and found that she is still in Exeter, and still in the same chambers as she was 20+ years ago, apparently flourishing like the green bay tree.
I note that, having been Called to the Bar in 1994, only a few years after me, Natalie Elphicke decided to leave the Bar and to convert to be a solicitor (something that, at least then, basically meant filling out a few forms).
Natalie Elphicke only worked as a lawyer for a year or two, as a salaried employee of the Inland Revenue (as was; now HMRC) during 1995-1997. She married her now ex-husband, Charlie Elphicke, in 1995. They have two children. She appears to have returned to legal work for a year or two during the years 2011-2013, before helping to found a company which was dissolved 2-3 years later.
After that, her husband’s connections seem to have got her a couple of brief public appointments in the years 2016-2019, as well as the CEO job at the Housing and Finance Institute: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Housing_and_Finance_Institute. This may not be very lucrative, though, looking at the Institute’s funding. Hard to say.
Many will know that, though having displayed (performative?) “loyalty” to her disgraced MP husband, Charlie Elphicke, during his trial, Natalie Elphicke had by then already taken over as MP for Dover in 2019. She separated from him in 2020, and later divorced him, prior to which she sold her story to the Sun “newspaper” for £25,000. https://www.kentonline.co.uk/deal/news/mp-wife-of-naughty-tory-paid-25k-to-tell-all-234749/.
I have to say that I agreed (and still agree) with Natalie Elphicke’s comment at the time of her husband’s unsuccessful appeal (against sentence only— he had been sentenced to 2 years, plus £35,000 costs, and was released after a year) that the 2-year sentence was harsh. He had really done very little: “During his trial the court heard how Elphicke groped one of his accusers, chased her around his house, and sang “I’m a naughty Tory, I’m a naughty Tory.” [Wikipedia].
I should have thought that a suspended sentence would have been enough. From what I read at the time, his three crimes were all just silly, really; almost identical, too, and surely only just coming within the “sex crime” area. Pathetic more than anything, in my opinion.
To my mind, if crimes and criminals can be divided into “bad, sad, or mad“, Charlie Elphicke’s conduct was surely “sad“, with a dash of “mad“, but nothing seriously “bad“.
Having —whether rightly or wrongly, and I think rightly— identified Natalie Elphicke as a “go for the main chance” opportunist, why on Earth did she defect to Labour? Looking at the electoral statistics for Dover, she had a very good chance of being re-elected. Maybe Starmer offered her a peerage (seems unlikely, though), or some quango chair (more likely), or a safe Labour seat (relatively unlikely, surely?).
I admit, Mrs. Elphicke’s motivation is still puzzling to me.
As to Charlie Elphicke, I had little time for him when he was an MP, but I have to say that his fall from status and relative affluence has the elements of a minor Greek tragedy. Apparently, he now lives in a small rented flat somewhere like Earl’s Court, and may (I do not know) be either unemployed or working in some obscure occupation. I can find no record of him still on the Solicitors’ Register, and the same is true of Natalie Elphicke, but as far as I know both are still able to practise; again, I cannot say.
Turns out that the Elphickes bought a house on the Kent coast for about £800,000 in 2012, and were able to sell it only a decade later for over £1.5M. The house almost doubled in value in 10 years. A commentary upon the house-price madness in this country.

"In the latest polls, this week, Nigel Farage, Richard Tice, and the Reform Party averaged 11.2%, compared to 11% before Rishi Sunak called the election. There is basically no evidence, yet, that Reform is being squeezed" https://t.co/5t6abIHJtn
There is also no evidence that Reform UK is getting anywhere. Nothing lower than an across-the-board 20% will win any seats; even a few percent more may only win a small handful, maybe 3-5. 11%, 12%, even 15%, is “nowhere” territory in seat-winning terms.
The LibDems and Greens are on a lower nationwide support, yet have seats in the Commons because their vote is concentrated, here and there.
Having said that, I make two points. Firstly, most intending Reform UK voters know perfectly well that RF is not going to win many, if any, seats. Their vote is a protest vote and/or a way of kicking the Sunak government and Conservative Party, by weakening greatly the Con Party vote in almost every constituency, but without voting Labour.
Secondly, as mooted yesterday, there may be a number, perhaps even a large number, of “secret Reform UK voters”, who do not show up in the opinion polls because they say “Don’t Know” or nominate a mainstream party out of embarrassment. Very English, arguably.
"Just before Rishi Sunak called the election Labour averaged 45.5% and the Tories 23.3%. Today? Labour’s averaging 43.8% and the Tories 24.5%. Labour's lead has barely moved at all. There's not much evidence (yet?) disillusioned Tories are returning" https://t.co/5t6abIHJtn
I doubt whether the usual general election convergence will happen this time. People hate and despise the useless Conservative Party governments of the past 14 years, and especially the past 5 years. That includes a huge number of 2019 or previous Con voters.
In fact, I should not be surprised were the Lab-Con gap to widen, though more because the Cons may slide again rather than because Labour increase their percentage.

General Election news
According to my use of Electoral Calculus, that might result in a House of Commons with 541 Lab MPs, 46 LibDem, 28 Con, 12 SNP, 3 Plaid Cymru, 2 Green, and 18 various Northern Irish.
On those figures, what Disraeli described as “the great Conservative Party, which destroys everything“, would be itself almost destroyed, reduced to a rump of 20 MPs; not even the official Opposition, which would be the LibDems.
Such a result would be a strategic defeat for the SNP too. 12 MPs, down from 56 (out of 59) at the 2015 peak, and 48 at the 2019 GE.
I get the impression that the SNP’s version of fake “nationalism” (blame England/the UK for everything, keep importing non-whites into Scotland, and think it normal to have a Pakistani as First Minister) has well and truly foundered on the rocks of socio-political reality). https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Scottish_National_Party#House_of_Commons.
Of course, a change in the Labour vote of even one point either way would add several to (or subtract several from) the Conservative total, and even more to or from the Labour total.

“Ukraine knows that it’s all over” While the UK is preoccupied with the general elections, Kyiv “cannot withstand Putin’s brutal attack,” reports the British The Telegraph. Main points:
Kiev was forced to transfer thousands of soldiers to the northeastern part of the front line to try to slow down the advance of the Russian Armed Forces in the Kharkov region.
The war is reaching a critical point as Western interest in helping Ukraine risks weakening again.
Zelensky seems to understand that time is running out for Ukraine: over the weekend he called on Joe Biden and Xi Jinping to take part in the upcoming “peace summit” in Switzerland.
Zelensky’s team is concerned about the shift of attention in the United States to internal elections: Ukraine is receding into the background.
The harsh reality is that Ukraine risks simply running out of people to fight.“

Britain 2024— roads full of holes and poor surfacing, patched slightly here and there. A million unwanted immigrants a year flooding in. Living standards being slashed. Poor pay for most workers, and another round of attacks on the unemployed, disabled and sick. Almost nothing in the administrative realm working properly. Free speech under unprecedented attack by the Jew-Zionist/pro-Israel lobby, with Government connivance. The NHS sinking ever-deeper into a situation where, in some areas, it is scarcely a health service at all.
Meanwhile the misgovernment of the little Indian money-juggler posing as a Prime Minister sends arms and ammunition to the dictatorship of the Jewish tyrant in Kiev, and entangles the UK in the wars of the Middle East and Eastern Europe.
What price “democracy”? Get rid of Sunak and his Cabinet of clowns, and the only result is that a pseudo-Labour “elected” dictatorship under Israel puppet will carry on in a similar way; maybe worse. Freedom of expression will be destroyed even more, Israel and the Jewish lobby will be supported even more, and the Kiev regime will be propped up even more.
In effect, the UK will swap a Conservative Friends of Israel misgovernment for a Labour Friends of Israel cabal misgovernment.
By all means clear out Conservative Party MPs. They deserve it. Vote elsewhere, or at least do not vote Conservative, but do not imagine that anything will change for the better under Labour.

From what one sees of Berlin today on TV etc, I find that I have no wish to visit the city. It might have been interesting to see, in the pre-1989 period, the contrast between East Berlin and West Berlin, but I never did, though I did see the southern part of the DDR (East Germany) in 1988, and I have seen (both pre-1989 and more recently) what was West Germany. The Guardian understands there were strong objections to Falter being offered the part-time civil service role advising the Commission for Countering Extremism (CCE) in 2022 and that John Mann told the then home secretary Suella Braverman he would quit if Falter was offered the post.
Falter told the Guardian: “These claims show a lack of understanding of how the Jewish community works. CAA works closely with CST, Shomrim [a volunteer-led security group that works with the strictly Orthodox Jewish community] and numerous other organisations.
“As part of our work we make complaints against antisemites in all walks of life…”
It is disgusting that this horrible little individual was ever considered for an official role. A liar and, some say, a perjurer, just like a couple of his self-publicizing colleagues.
Incidentally, I believe that the present Commissioner for Countering Extremism is Jewish.
As for Suella Braverman, thank God her time in the political limelight is probably over. She is what the Indians in her mother’s native Mauritius call —I have heard them say it— “bas-class“. Married to a Jew, and completely in the pocket of the Jewish/Zionist lobby and Israel.
Suella Braverman’s seat at Fareham is considered “safe”, but when the Conservative MP numbers are cut down at the General Election this year, Suella Braverman will just be one of about (?) 50 Conservative Party MPs left. No influence, and no political future except as a backbencher of a party which might even fail to become the official Opposition. I doubt that she will become the leader of that now very degraded party.

The idea that 500,000-1,000,000+ immigrants coming into the UK (mostly not via “small boats”) annually is in any way sustainable is just mad. This government has hugely increased immigration (hardly surprising…look at the Cabinet, composed largely of non-Europeans), and the Labour Friends of Israel government of Starmer, expected to start this year or early next year, will be even worse.
People look at their living standards plummeting, goods costing more, transport services, roads, NHS, schools etc getting worse, housing becoming totally unaffordable, but (in the case of many people) prefer to ignore the links between all of that and the tsunami of immigration.

Incidentally, those opinion poll statistics add up to only 77% of voters asked. Is most of the remaining 23% a group of people who might support something perhaps not on the question-paper, such as a social nationalist movement as yet not in existence?
At GE 2024, such figures might result in the Conservative Party being left with as few as 30 MPs, as noted on yesterday’s blog post.
NEW. More Brits SUPPORT leaving the ECHR than staying if it means they control their own borders. And two-thirds of conservatives think so. They are right to think this way. We MUST put the security of the British people above illegal migrantshttps://t.co/lEgeuOQ5wCpic.twitter.com/9FLF3GkSsp
A country which has no control over its borders, no control who has civil rights within borders, no right to expel non-citizens for default or at will, is not a nation but just a territory open to all, and not far from chaos or civil war, a place where disparate tribes occupy space for a time; or a kind of “Hotel California”…

“It’s now a week since Scotland’s new Hate Crime Act became law and 8,000 hate complaints have been logged with the police —about one a minute. Police union bosses described the law as ‘a disaster’ and claimed officers are already ‘swamped under a deluge of complaints’. Senior officers also warned that police will be forced to make cuts to frontline crimefighting to deal with the deluge and face a big overtime bill which the Scottish taxpayer will need to pick up — or the police will cut back elsewhere.”
Scotland, a region where a bunch of pseudo-nationalist clowns and foreign ideologues have taken power over the past 9 years, and where the white Scottish majority population is a hated and reviled group, despite numerical and other superiority.
Not just the SNP under Pakistani “First Minister” Humza Yousaf. “Scottish” Labour under Anas Sarwar, another Pakistani, is no better. I was always told that Scottish education was better than English, and Scottish people shrewd. What happened?

For those unaware of the term, aliyah is a Hebrew term meaning, in everyday usage, “immigration“, and usually refers to immigration to Israel/occupied Palestine by Jews living elsewhere in the world; see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Aliyah.
“In February 2002, Charlie Burrell and his wife Isabella Tree sent a letter to Defra declaring their intent ‘to establish a biodiverse wilderness area in the Low Weald of Sussex’. Twenty years later, their rewilding project on the 3,500-acre Knepp estate is a huge success story – a pioneering project that has inspired dozens of similar enterprises around the UK.”

Rewilding. Worth reading.
The UK needs a “wildlife grid”, perhaps one partly under private ownership but with a central state office to offer help and advice, and to co-ordinate useful initiatives.

It's absolutely bananas Britain does NOT collect/release data on how immigration impacts the economy, welfare & crime (as @NeilDotObrien notes). I polled Brits & found a majority want this data made available. They want a serious debate about immigrationhttps://t.co/lEgeuOQ5wC
I do not want “a debate“. I want an end to this invasion. So do the British people.
Also, it is quite clear why such information remains secret or unavailable, which is because public release of the statistical evidence would underline how hugely negative mass immigration has been to this country. A conspiracy by secret cabals embedded in the body politic to import non-whites into the UK (and the rest of Europe).

Residents of Ukraine must realize that none of them will be able to sit out during the mobilization, since there are not enough people in the troops.”

Even the press-gangs have not brought in enough people to become cannon-fodder for the incompetent Ukrainian high command. Now they want to press into service the old, the extremely young, women, even disabled people.
In the end, I think that many Ukrainian people will be glad to welcome the Russian armies as they advance.

“The Sunday Times reports that among the residents of Ukraine there are no people left willing to fight, and a breakthrough of Russian troops to Kyiv is quite real “The front line is 480 km away, but to nervous young people from Podol, a Kyiv district famous for its nightclubs and cafes, the war suddenly seems much closer. “I’m afraid,” the publication quotes 31-year-old Dima as saying, specifying that he is a “heavy smoker.” Main points of the article:
Ukrainian generals said that there is no alternative to mass mobilization to stop Russia’s offensive. Zelensky warned allies to expect more territorial losses and called on Ukrainian men who fled abroad to return and serve their country.
But under the bright spring sun of Kyiv, the answers to questions about Zelensky’s desire to mobilize are clear. The video producer, who wished to remain anonymous, said that he travels between Ukrainian cities only at night to avoid being drafted into the army.
Western partners hesitant about arms supplies face brutal calculations: the population of the remaining Ukraine is approximately 31 million, compared with 144 million in Russia. The longer the military conflict continues, the greater the fear that the numbers will prevail.
Ukraine, suffering from the lowest birth rate in the world, tried to save young people from the horrors of war. But now, when the average age of a Ukrainian soldier is 43 years old, the desire to protect the country’s future prevails.
In the capital of Ukraine, hundreds of thousands of people are browsing Telegram channels in search of advice on how to avoid conscription into the army. The messages are encrypted: “They just dumped a lot of snow on one person near the Polytechnic Institute station,” “It’s very cloudy on the street near the Festivalny shopping center now.”
People are accustomed to the idea that the front line is far away, that it is unshakable. But the truth is that the Russians could break through at any moment. We can fight for Kyiv again. People don’t understand the threat,” says military medic Boris.“
Regular readers of the blog will note that many of the above points have featured on the blog over the past 1-2 years.
Russia cannot lose this war. Russia will not lose this war.

That photo, showing President Assad, reminds me of when little William Hague, about 12 years ago, said that Assad was finished and would be on a plane out to exile somewhere or other within days, if not hours. Ha ha! The UK is ruled by clowns of the William Hague sort— or even worse in fact, now. No wonder that 80% of the electorate want to stamp on the Conservative Party, and stamp and stamp…

Whilst there is no serious deterrent, it will get worse. No politician of either colour has the balls to do what is needed. It is out of control.
Well, you people, most of you “Conservative” and “Labour” voters, never supported those who tried to warn of the likely consequences of the mass immigration invasion of the UK —from the 1950s through to today—, meaning Enoch Powell, the National Front, the BNP, social-national thinkers etc.
Many tried to get a public hearing, but were ignored, or persecuted, or even prosecuted. You people kept voting for System parties and their corrupt and/or stupid MPs. Even now, you vote for a System party. Now see the results…
