Whatever the facts of that, there are facts that are indisputable: Natalie Elphicke could have stood at GE 2024 as Con Party candidate. She received 56.9% of the vote in 2019 under that aegis.

I was puzzled as to why Natalie Elphicke crossed the floor, she after all knowing that a general election had to be called sometime before a date in January 2025. Does she have some better offer from outside Parliament? Seems doubtful to me.

Natalie Elphicke gives me a dual impression: not particularly intelligent, but particularly focussed on her own ambitions.

As a former member of Lincoln’s Inn, I have met several people over the years who were (as was Natalie Elphicke— see the Wikipedia entry) beneficiaries of Hardwicke scholarships. None impressed.

I saw this comment:

“Hardwicke Scholarships aren’t that prestigious. A mere submission of an application is more than enough to win one. They give about 150 away each year, and not many more people apply to each inn for a scholarship, surprisingly enough.” [online commentator].

I think that the real figure is nearer to 100 than 150.

To intrude a personal comment, I recall a young blonde lady barrister who (unsuccessfully, in all cases) opposed me in court a number of times during 2002-2008 when I was in chambers in Exeter (she was in another set, also in Exeter). She was a former Hardwicke scholar, just like Natalie Elphicke. I used to think of her as “Mrs Malaprop”, because her use of English was so poor. Comically so. A pretty poor barrister in terms of both legal knowledge and presentation, in my view, though wearing a sense of self-importance as thick as a suit of armour.

I had better not name that lady, mainly for reasons of propriety (I am too poor now to be worth suing; and there would be no basis for such a suit anyway). I just looked her up online for the first time, and found that she is still in Exeter, and still in the same chambers as she was 20+ years ago, apparently flourishing like the green bay tree.

I note that, having been Called to the Bar in 1994, only a few years after me, Natalie Elphicke decided to leave the Bar and to convert to be a solicitor (something that, at least then, basically meant filling out a few forms).

Natalie Elphicke only worked as a lawyer for a year or two, as a salaried employee of the Inland Revenue (as was; now HMRC) during 1995-1997. She married her now ex-husband, Charlie Elphicke, in 1995. They have two children. She appears to have returned to legal work for a year or two during the years 2011-2013, before helping to found a company which was dissolved 2-3 years later.

After that, her husband’s connections seem to have got her a couple of brief public appointments in the years 2016-2019, as well as the CEO job at the Housing and Finance Institute: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Housing_and_Finance_Institute. This may not be very lucrative, though, looking at the Institute’s funding. Hard to say.

Ah…[10 mins later…]… seems that my hunch was correct: that HFI CEO position is entirely unpaid: see https://members.parliament.uk/member/4795/registeredinterests.

Many will know that, though having displayed (performative?) “loyalty” to her disgraced MP husband, Charlie Elphicke, during his trial, Natalie Elphicke had by then already taken over as MP for Dover in 2019. I have to say that I agreed (and still agree) with Natalie Elphicke’s comment at the time of her husband’s unsuccessful appeal (against sentence only— he had been sentenced to 2 years, plus ยฃ35,000 costs, and was released after a year) that the 2-year sentence was harsh. He had really done very little: “During his trial the court heard how Elphicke groped one of his accusers, chased her around his house, and sang “I’m a naughty Tory, I’m a naughty Tory.” [Wikipedia].

I should have thought that a suspended sentence would have been enough. From what I read at the time, his three crimes were all just silly, really; almost identical, too, and surely only just coming within the “sex crime” area. Pathetic more than anything, in my opinion.

To my mind, if crimes and criminals can be divided into “bad, sad, or mad“, Charlie Elphicke’s conduct was surely “sad“, with a dash of “mad“, but nothing seriously “bad“.

Having —whether rightly or wrongly, and I think rightly— identified Natalie Elphicke as a “go for the main chance” opportunist, why on Earth did she defect to Labour? Looking at the electoral statistics for Dover, she had a very good chance of being re-elected. Maybe Starmer offered her a peerage (seems unlikely, though), or some quango chair (more likely), or a safe Labour seat (relatively unlikely, surely?).

I admit, Mrs. Elphicke’s motivation is still puzzling to me.

As to Charlie Elphicke, I had little time for him when he was an MP, but I have to say that his fall from status and relative affluence has the elements of a minor Greek tragedy. Apparently, he now lives in a small rented flat somewhere like Earl’s Court, and may (I do not know) be either unemployed or working in some obscure occupation. I can find no record of him still on the Solicitors’ Register, and the same is true of Natalie Elphicke, but as far as I know both are still able to practise; again, I cannot say.

Turns out that the Elphickes bought a house on the Kent coast for about ยฃ800,000 in 2012, and were able to sell it only a decade later for over ยฃ1.5M. The house almost doubled in value in 10 years. A commentary upon the house-price madness in this country.

There is also no evidence that Reform UK is getting anywhere. Nothing lower than an across-the-board 20% will win any seats; even a few percent more may only win a small handful, maybe 3-5. 11%, 12%, even 15%, is “nowhere” territory in seat-winning terms.

The LibDems and Greens are on a lower nationwide support, yet have seats in the Commons because their vote is concentrated, here and there.

Having said that, I make two points. Firstly, most intending Reform UK voters know perfectly well that RF is not going to win many, if any, seats. Their vote is a protest vote and/or a way of kicking the Sunak government and Conservative Party, by weakening greatly the Con Party vote in almost every constituency, but without voting Labour.

Secondly, as mooted yesterday, there may be a number, perhaps even a large number, of “secret Reform UK voters”, who do not show up in the opinion polls because they say “Don’t Know” or nominate a mainstream party out of embarrassment. Very English, arguably.

I doubt whether the usual general election convergence will happen this time. People hate and despise the useless Conservative Party governments of the past 14 years, and especially the past 5 years. That includes a huge number of 2019 or previous Con voters.

In fact, I should not be surprised were the Lab-Con gap to widen, though more because the Cons may slide again rather than because Labour increase their percentage.

A plurality of voters do not know where Starmer stands. For Starmer, that may be what he wants.

General Election news

According to my use of Electoral Calculus, that might result in a House of Commons with 541 Lab MPs, 46 LibDem, 28 Con, 12 SNP, 3 Plaid Cymru, 2 Green, and 18 various Northern Irish.

On those figures, what Disraeli described as “the great Conservative Party, which destroys everything“, would be itself almost destroyed, reduced to a rump of 20 MPs; not even the official Opposition, which would be the LibDems.

Such a result would be a strategic defeat for the SNP too. 12 MPs, down from 56 (out of 59) at the 2015 peak, and 48 at the 2019 GE.

Britain 2024— roads full of holes and poor surfacing, patched slightly here and there. A million unwanted immigrants a year flooding in. Living standards being slashed. What price “democracy”? Get rid of Sunak and his Cabinet of clowns, and the only result is that a pseudo-Labour “elected” dictatorship under Israel puppet will carry on in a similar way; maybe worse. Freedom of expression will be destroyed even more, Israel and the Jewish lobby will be supported even more, and the Kiev regime will be propped up even more.

In effect, the UK will swap a Conservative Friends of Israel misgovernment for a Labour Friends of Israel cabal misgovernment.

By all means clear out Conservative Party MPs. They deserve it. Vote elsewhere, or at least do not vote Conservative, but do not imagine that anything will change for the better under Labour.

From what one sees of Berlin today on TV etc, I find that I have no wish to visit the city. It might have been interesting to see, in the pre-1989 period, the contrast between East Berlin and West Berlin, but I never did, though I did see the southern part of the DDR (East Germany) in 1988, and I have seen (both pre-1989 and more recently) what was West Germany. I have blogged previously about my impressions.

Berlin has other, smaller, hills of that type. The Guardian understands there were strong objections to Falter being offered the part-time civil service role advising the Commission for Countering Extremism (CCE) in 2022 and that John Mann told the then home secretary Suella Braverman he would quit if Falter was offered the post.

As for Suella Braverman, thank God her time in the political limelight is probably over. A low-level barrister unaccountably selected/”elected” to the Commons and then, even less plausibly, appointed to Cabinet. She is what the Indians in her mother’s native Mauritius call —I have heard them say it— “bas-class“. Married to a Jew, and completely in the pocket of the Jewish/Zionist lobby and Israel.

Suella Braverman’s seat at Fareham is considered “safe”, but when the Conservative MP numbers are cut down at the General Election this year, Suella Braverman will just be one of about (?) 50 Conservative Party MPs left. God knows what group-karma is eventually going to come down the tracks at Israel, the Israelis, and all those outside Israel who support the quasi-genocide.

The idea that 500,000-1,000,000+ immigrants coming into the UK (mostly not via “small boats”) annually is in any way sustainable is just mad. This government has hugely increased immigration (hardly surprising…look at the Cabinet, composed largely of non-Europeans), and the Labour Friends of Israel government of Starmer, expected to start this year or early next year, will be even worse.

People look at their living standards plummeting, goods costing more, transport services, roads, NHS, schools etc getting worse, housing becoming totally unaffordable, but (in the case of many people) prefer to ignore the links between all of that and the tsunami of immigration.

If I had to guess, I should say that embezzling fake Zelensky will be gone within a year or so, either into exile and to his several multimillion-dollar houses in Florida and elsewhere or, well, just gone…

I do not want “a debate“. I want an end to this invasion. So do the British people.

Also, it is quite clear why such information remains secret or unavailable, which is because public release of the statistical evidence would underline how hugely negative mass immigration has been to this country. That photo, showing President Assad, reminds me of when little William Hague, about 12 years ago, said that Assad was finished and would be on a plane out to exile somewhere or other within days, if not hours. Well, you people, most of you “Conservative” and “Labour” voters, never supported those who tried to warn of the likely consequences of the mass immigration invasion of the UK —from the 1950s through to today—, meaning Enoch Powell, the National Front, the BNP, social-national thinkers etc.

Many tried to get a public hearing, but were ignored, or persecuted, or even prosecuted. You people kept voting for System parties and their corrupt and/or stupid MPs. Even now, you vote for a System party. Now see the results…

Forget about knives. Knives are just a peripheral symptom. Look at and then deal with the causes. Those who carry the knives. They are probably already breeding the next generation of knife-carriers and stabbers.

At the end of the day, the choice will be a poor one, because the US political system is sclerotic and almost incapable of substantial change. That will be so even were Biden and Trump not to be the candidates in the end.

I think that the American public are looking at the two, and are seeing that (to put it that way) one of them is as good as “off his head”…so game over (?).

There was a time in England, not so very long ago, when people had real freedom of expression. Even in the 1970s, when free speech had already been cut back, it still existed to an extent unthinkable in the England of 2024, in which the “woke” or “politically correct” rule almost supreme, and in which the malicious and fanatical Jew-Zionists “monitor” anything British people say or write, lest it might be —or can be be contrived to look— “grossly offensive” (to “them”).

The great British jury has also fallen by the wayside, and now almost inevitably finds anyone accused of “inciting racial hatred” guilty, no matter how flimsy the evidence. Rubber-stamp juries. I have no idea whether that was the case in respect of the Sam Melia trial. I know only what has been in the Press over the past day or two.

Not only that. Anyone found with such innocuous things as “racist” stickers may get, not even months but years of incarceration, in an England where real crime, even violent crime, is often scarcely punished by the courts.

Look at that Yorkshire Evening Post report. Things actually perfectly lawful (having a poster of Hitler on the wall at home, owning a book by a long-dead British politician) added to the mix in a “nudge-nudge, wink-wink” way…

I do not know Sam Melia, only of him, and only slightly even on that basis, but I very much regret that he has been found guilty. My thoughts are with him, and with his wife, the socio-political activist Laura Towler.

Ukraine’s (Kiev regime’s) only hope in this war is to bring in NATO on the Kiev-regime side; to widen the conflict. That is OK, in principle, but Finland last year joined NATO, which has moved from being a mainly defensive alliance during the Cold War to its present expansionist and rather aggressive posture.

Who are they trying to fool? As soon as he is kicked out, the little Indian money-juggler will be off, with his ultra-wealthy Indian heiress wife, to somewhere like Palo Alto or Bel-Air. Yes, he was born here, went to Winchester and then Oxford, but he has about as much in common with this country as Ali Bongo (the African one).

Partly-true, but the State could control pay if that were required (which I think it now is): set limits for pay, with exceptions for genuine inventor-entrepreneurs such as Dyson. People who are just executives could be restricted to somewhere around ยฃ500,000 a year (gross), or even as “little” as ยฃ200,000 (net). The same goes for the likes of TV presenters, footballers etc.

The vast majority of UK workers and others in this country (eg pensioners, disabled non-workers, unemployed etc) receive net pay and/or benefits of ยฃ25,000 p.a. or below. Even my own relatively modest income when a barrister (1991-2008), though sometimes (rarely, though, and expressed in the money of 2024) above ยฃ100,000 p.a., was often far far less (sometimes almost zero).

I do not think that many people will be sorry if the high-paid were to be restricted to a net income of, say, ยฃ200,000 p.a.

Unless, of course, the USA and EU take away Zelensky’s ricebowl and stop funnelling arms, ammo, and cash to Kiev. In that event, the war will grind to a halt in a few months.

When I had to leave behind (in France) almost my entire library of 2,000 or more books (in 2009, 14 years ago— long story), the loss felt catastrophic (and the books were not the whole of the story). Strategically, what really challenges the Conservative Party is not that Israel-puppets Starmer, Rachel Reeves, Yvette Cooper etc might form an “elected dictatorship” for 4-5 years starting in 2024, but the fact that, at present, only 10% of those under 50 intend to vote Con. As for those under 30, I do not have the figure to hand, but it is something like 4%.

At the same time, very few of the ethnic minority voters, even Indians, are intending to vote Con; also the ethnic minorities, at present about 20% of the voting public, may soon be 25% or even 30%. A large minority of those under 18 in the UK are already non-white.

That means that, even in the next decade, unless something very big and unexpected happens, the Con Party vote will not even be at 20% (where it now is) but more like 10% or so. LibDem level. UKIP (2015) level. Reform UK level. That is when the Con Party will probably fade out, except for a few outposts here and there. Around 2030.

So about twice the number of children killed or mutilated by the (Israeli) Jews since the conflict (this time around) started, in early October 2023.

That seems to indicate that the population growth in Gaza is about (?) 4% per year. Something like that, anyway. There seems to be a sinister agenda here, promoting a false narrative according to which Russia wants to invade Central and Eastern Europe. It’s rubbish. Indeed, the opposite is the case.

The old Soviet Union gradually lost its expansionist ideology in the 1980s, and the post-Soviet Russia has no expansionist ideology akin to Leninism.

Russia is nationalist in a defensive way, and even the Ukraine war can be seen as defensive, as being within the old imperial boundaries that existed long before the revolutionary upheavals of 1917.

Let us be clear. If there is a NATO-Russia war, among the first countries to be entirely wiped out by nuclear attack would be the UK (because of the American and other bases here) and the smaller states of NATO in Europe. The Netherlands would have no chance.

The UK should join with Russia, but the secretive Zionist and Masonic cabals that rule this country from behind the scenes are completely against any such idea. They stand ready to sacrifice the people of the UK to their evil NWO/ZOG plans.

The most important thing for the future of the world is that a core of people of white European humanity survive and are able to repopulate the world after any such disaster; indeed not only to repopulate the world but also to create the racial-cultural basis for a future superculture.

Having said that, the only way to (“peacefully”) destabilize the failed two-party rigged system in the UK is to destroy at least one major party. The “Conservatives” have volunteered, by their corrupt ineptitude, to be that party. At the upcoming General Election, all that is required is for people to punish the Con Party by not voting for it. Either abstain, or vote anywhere but Con.

Tice, of Reform UK, is scarcely my kind of politician, but he has caught the mood. In a recent interview (a few days ago), Tice made the necessary point: punish (his word) the Con Party, no matter whether voting for Reform UK means more Labour MPs. Labour will almost certainly “win” anyway, and almost certainly with a large majority. Think strategically. Wipe out the Con Party by either abstaining or by voting anywhere but Con.

Skidmore tries to present an “intellectual” front, but not convincingly. He does not have the horsepower, when all is said and done.

Skidmore, though now claiming to have resigned on a matter of principle, had himself earlier said (in 2022) why he would not be continuing as MP:

“On 26 November 2022, Skidmore announced that he would be standing down at the next general election, later stating in Parliament that ‘my constituency of Kingswood is being formally abolished in the boundary changes and there is nowhere for me to go.’[37][38][39]” [Wikipedia].

Translation: he has been both useless and disliked as MP and junior minister, and no other constituency would want him once his present one is abolished. In any case, there may well be few Conservative Party seats left after 2024.

Skidmore has spun getting kicked out of Parliament (by the time of the 2024 General Election) as a principled resignation, no doubt hoping to be given some lucrative and maybe environment-oriented quango appointment later. He might have been better to wait to see whether he would be in line for a peerage. No chance of that now.

Anyway, he’s off. Good.

By comparison, the UK overall has an average population density of about 280 persons per square kilometre, the highest density being in London (about 5,500 per square kilometre).

Imagine about a quarter of the population of London (c.2M) being ordered, effectively on pain of death, and by an alien force, to move from one end of London to the opposite end. The UK did not bomb Dublin or Dundalk, still less invade the Republic.

Married to a Jew, she now seems to be moving from a position (some time ago) of support for “free speech” to, now, one of saying that anyone criticizing Israel or Jewish behaviour, or supporting the people suffering in Gaza, will face prosecution.

I know that she was never much respected when she worked as an ordinary barrister, but this is moving to a police-state position on freedom of expression.

In fact, how long will it be before anyone in politics, law, the mass media, will have to pledge allegiance or fealty to the Jews and Israel, or face complete “cancellation” professionally? It has already gone some way towards that in the UK, USA, Australia, even France and Germany.

When Suella Braverman made her speech about migration-invasion recently, I found some aspects of it with which I could agree, despite (of course) believing that persons only notionally British should not be Cabinet ministers, or indeed prime ministers.

However, any UK politician who curries favour with the Jewish lobby/Israel lobby is not one who deserves any respect at all.

Incidentally, she has now thrown the “Community Security Trust” or “CST” (the Jew-Zionist strongarm and snoop organization) another ยฃ3M of taxpayers’ money (they were given ยฃ14M just recently).

I read about that the same day as I found out that a hospice known to me, a wonderful peaceful place which I visited several times about 6 years ago, may have to close because it faces a financial shortfall of “only” ยฃ100,000. About 11% of its income comes from government funds.

ยฃ3M given to an organization controlled by ultra-wealthy Jews at a time when hospices (etc) are closing because Suella Braverman’s government will not supply more money (a small fraction of the monies given to the “CST”).

The priorities of UK politicians are rotten to the core.

The Bealtaine Cottage lady’s website is very interesting, and I say that despite the fact that she blocked me on Twitter, when I still had a Twitter account (a Jew cabal pressured Twitter to expel me by 2018), simply because (once again— it’s ALWAYS “them”) a Jew kept contacting and harassing her, misrepresenting my socio-political views.

Owen Jones

I see that Owen Jones has contrived to get more public attention:

What Jones fails to point out is that that British-imposed law probably had a penalty for breach of a small fine or a short prison sentence. I admit that I do not know exactly how much or how long. The Arab/Islamist penalty (I presume, and have seen news to that effect previously) is something like getting thrown off a building, or getting a bullet in the head.

When I was practising at the Bar in London during 1993-1996, I used to do quite a bit of Judicial Review work at the High Court. Most, though not all, was either immigration or housing-related. One such case was a Pakistani fighting deportation to Pakistan on the ground that he was a member of an Islamic sect considered heretical by the other Muslims.

I think, subject to correction, that there are about 70 different sects in Islam.

The said “heresy” was punishable (probably still is) by a maximum penalty of death. The original law prohibiting such belief and/or membership had been passed by the British rulers under the Raj, in the 19th Century.

The devil is in the detail. The original British law provided for a small fine by way of punishment. After Independence and Partition (1947), the law itself was kept exactly as it had been when first passed, but the penalties increased gradually from that original small fine to larger fines, terms of imprisonment, and finally (I think in about 1980 or so) to the death penalty.

The outcome of that case at the High Court in ~1994 is not relevant to my point but, as far as I can recall, the case was listed before a judge who said that he had made a study of the particular sect in question (God knows why). I suppose that he was well-placed to judge the matter fairly. I think that he remitted the case to be reviewed further by the Home Office in the end.

Are such missiles being too widely-dispersed? Surely Clausewitzian doctrine, as developed over the past 200+ years, demands a concentration of forces to create a Schwerpunkt in or on the enemy territory?

Perhaps the Israelis are planning to simply reduce the main populated parts of Gaza to rubble, like the Romans did to Carthage, so that no-one can live there for many years, perhaps hundreds of years. They might decide to poison the area with radioactive elements, for example. Very evil.
