Memory Lane
I happened to see that someone with whom I was slightly acquainted at school in the early 1970s died a couple of years ago. Not someone I really knew, or knew well, because he, Matthew Perry by name, was in the “B” or “C” stream of my year, whereas I was in the “A” stream.
In fact, I really only became acquainted with Perry —and he was never a friend as such; I never visited his home or went anywhere with him— because, if I remember aright, we were both in the Bridge Club. An amusing fellow, with several stories to tell, often about (horse-) racing or gambling generally. The sort of person one might, in an older person, call “clubbable”.
I noticed from the piece I saw (from the online mag of my old school —incidentally, I should never have recognized him from the appended photo, perhaps taken in an unwell later year) that, after his school years were over, he had done well in pharmaceuticals, but had also flown aid to Africa (Uganda, I think it said).
Quite a few people of the same or similar age to myself, and whom I knew as a small child, older child, or generally in youth, are now no longer on this Earth. In fact, the same goes for several people I knew in later life. A reminder that we have to do what we can, accomplish our mission (of whatever kind) while still here.

My first wife told me that, as a girl of about 10, which would have been in the mid-1970s, she used to ride her bicycle across to Roosevelt Island. The tipping point may have been reached for Reform UK, and also for the once-great Conservative Party. Only time will tell. It is natural for people to assume that large political organizations, states, religions etc go on for ever. Not so.
Having seen a bit of what happened in the late 1980s and early 1990s, when socialism died across Europe and elsewhere, I know that large structures can indeed collapse rather unexpectedly, albeit after long periods of slow preparatory weakness.
When you look at who votes or intends to vote Conservative now, you are really looking, mainly looking, at retired people or people close to retirement.
People who have seen Britain, certainly British cities and towns, turn from being white (i.e. British) to being largely black and brown (etc).
People who have seen large social and economic enterprises (water supply, railways, telephone system, bus network, Royal Mail etc), whatever faults they had, become often unresponsive and failing private-profit bodies.
People who have seen the great institutions of the State fail, and continue to fail, badly— police, courts, judges, legal system, prisons, NHS, border control, immigration control, Army, Navy, Air Force. Civil Service. Royal Family too. All useless, or rapidly becoming so.
What is the rotting head of that failure? The political system, Parliament, MPs, and the now-ludicrous House of Lords.
So when those people go to vote, how will they vote, those disenchanted, angry, let-down people, especially those aged 50+? Not for Labour, which (as I said on the blog for years) has become mainly the party of the “blacks and browns” and in general those dependent on the State for money and/or employment. Only the naive and fairly comfortably-off, in certain places, vote LibDem.
Conservative MPs mismanaged the UK for 14 years 2010-2025. Huge immigration, including the continuing “small boats” invasion. NHS failures. The “Covid” scamdemic/panicdemic. Much else besides.
The only reason many older people stuck with the Conservative Party was the State Pension “triple lock”. Then the little Indian money-juggler, Sunak, reneged on that (for one year), though he reinstated it the following year. I think that that badly damaged trust.
In my judgment, things are now so bad in the UK and, importantly, seen to be getting worse, and rapidly, that many are willing to leave their old habits and loyalties behind, and to vote Reform. I would have put that middle-aged/elderly Con-voting group, and or with others willing to vote Con, as adding up to somewhere around 20% of the voting population (General Election 2024— 23.7%) but now I am inclined to think that, by 2028/2029, it may be as low as 15%. On that basis, the Conservative Party may be at the end of the line.
Using Electoral Calculus, and with Con 15%, Labour 25%, LibDem 15%, Greens 10%, and Reform UK 30% (its likely maximum), that would result in a House of Commons with 330 Reform MPs, 163 Lab, 72 LibDem, 20 Con, 4 Green (etc). Reform Commons majority.
Were Reform to get a lesser vote (25%), the result would change to Reform 220, Lab 208, LibDem 76, Con 49 (etc). Still no comfort for the Con Party; only fourth party in Commons.
The Conservatives would have to get 20% overall even to stay where they now are (121 seats). I doubt they will do it.

Sorry to see that notice. I was a member of Lincoln’s Inn from 1986 until I was (wrongfully and unlawfully) disbarred in 2016, at which point my membership of the Inn was, effectively, terminated automatically.
As a very frequent user of Lincoln’s Inn Library, I knew Catherine for many years (1988 to about 2002). She was from the North (maybe North East) of England, from a family in a coal-mining community. Beyond that, I knew little of her personal life, though I believe that she got married at some point after having joined Lincoln’s Inn (and the photograph in that tweet, showing a ring, would seem to support that).

Well, looked at from an ethics-free view (and/or from the Israeli point of view), that operation has the hallmarks of skill and cunning. Equally obviously, to kill patients prostrate in a hospital (one photo shows a single bullet-hole in the centre of a hospital pillow, with blood around it) is pretty abhorrent and, indeed, very wicked, something one would associate with the worst criminals and terrorists.
Frederick Forsyth was or is very pro-Israeli. I saw something from him once to the effect that terrorists who then gain state power (as happened in Israel/Palestine when the various Jew-Zionist terrorists of the Irgun, Palmach, Stern Gang /”Lehi” etc became part of the Israeli power structure) can leave their terrorism behind and become “normal” political leaders of “normal” states.
Forsyth’s view may have had its arguments when he was most fervently pro-Israel, in the 1960s, 1970s, but now the facts have changed or become more evident: Israel’s massacres of Arab civilians every few years, and of course the truth coming out more in the West about the ethnic cleansing (mass murder, and theft of land) carried out by the Jews in Israel/Palestine from 1948 to the present day.
Forsyth himself, who always strikes me as rather dim, at least politically, was cheated out of much of his invested money by a Jew he trusted (“Roger” Something), insult then being added to injury by the said Jew receiving a mere suspended sentence for the embezzlement of millions of pounds. Regular readers will be aware that I am to be sentenced tomorrow for allegedly having posted “grossly offensive” (anti-Jew-Zionist) material on 5 out of some 1,700 blog posts published since this blog started in late 2016.
It may be that part of the sentence will include a restriction on the publication of the blog. If so, the restriction might last for a year. We shall see.

I recall reading, in the early 1980s, the biography of the head of the Cheka, Feliks Dzerzhinsky [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Felix_Dzerzhinsky], a book produced in Soviet days (around 1970, I think) but never translated into English. Whites are a tiny minority on earth and it's only our countries being flooded by genocidal levels of mass migration, yet we're the only ones not allowed to have racial/ethnic identity.
If they want to convince most people that lockdowns were a 'mistake' and therefore not a viable future solution, it's because they can then say that mass mandatory vaccination is the only option.
Locking 70 million people in their homes and stopping almost all access to healthcare will OF COURSE cause massive problems. But it doesn't result in young people, who've been out of lockdown for months and feeling perfectly healthy, suddenly having strokes and heart attacks.
After the “gas chambers” part of the WW2 “holocaust” narrative, the bulk of the “Covid” narrative, and within that the “vaccination” scam, must be the biggest hoax ever.
I grow increasingly pessimistic about the international situation.
The only chance that the Kiev regime of the Jew Zelensky has to survive in power there is to continue to get more (and better) arms from the NATO bloc. That, and to provoke a wider conflict.
We see that, in the past 24 hours, a series of Ukrainian (?) attacks on Crimea (where 90%+ of the population is Russian) and on Russian territory itself.
The Russian advance has slowed to a crawl.
Putin is not going to withdraw from either Crimea or the Donbass, yet he is not in a position to deal the Kiev a knockout blow conventionally, as things stand.
Tactical nuclear weapons offer the Russian side a potential edge. The Ukrainians have none. A very horrific possibility, because it might mean large urban areas being destroyed, with all the pain and hurt that would entail. In such a scenario, NATO might take the opportunity to assist the Kiev side directly.
Who was “to blame” for WW2? To say “Germany”, is trite and simplistic. What about WW1?
If WW3 starts out of this Ukraine situation, it might be that Russia’s finger will be on the trigger first, but that, again, is a simplistic way of looking at a complex situation.
Can it really be that we are looking at the possibility that much of civilized Europe will be destroyed for really nothing, that “nothing” being because the NWO cabals want both to encroach upon Russia, and also to support the corrupt, shambolic, failed “state” of Ukraine? Horrifying.
