Well, that poll (with notional LibDem vote around 12%, and Greens on 10%) would result in a Commons with 198 Lab MPs, 187 Reform, and 156 Con (51 Libdems, 27 SNP, 4 Greens). The polls are variable at present, but all tell the same story— Reform UK either the most popular party or a close second. Not (yet) quite the view I have been putting on the blog for the past three years, i.e. Russia to take all of Ukraine east of the Dnieper, as well as a wide coastal strip from the Dnieper as far as a point west of Odessa. Kiev and Odessa to be free cities (either autonomous or jointly-controlled). The rest of Ukraine west of the Dnieper to be ruled by a Ukrainian administration based in Lvov.
I think that the above formulation by me would be fair, and could form the basis for a lasting, if not very friendly, peace.

Ha. The fact is that, for all his brief “celebrity” about 10-12 years ago, Lewis is not much of a lawyer, in my opinion. That is even if we leave aside Lewis’s own admission, before the Solicitors’ Disciplinary Tribunal in 2018, that at times he had no idea what he was saying, writing, or doing (by reason of his intake of prescription drugs).
Solicitors Regulation Authority principle 7 states a solicitor must “act in the best interests of each client”.
1. In Nov 2021 I suggested a nominal (say £5) settlement with Mr Cantor.
2. Mr Lewis rejected it in principle, apparently on Mr Cantor’s instructions.
3. Mr Cantor now says Mr Lewis said the only way to get a zero money settlement was to ask me for £5k.
4. Because I could never offer Mr Cantor anything better than a nominal settlement, and that was explicitly rejected by Mr Lewis, Mr Cantor lost at trial and is likely to lose his home. What was going on here?“
This is far from having been the first time that “Mark Lewis Lawyer” (his old Twitter/X name, now supplanted by “@MLewisLawyer”) has acted entirely unprofessionally, but up until now the fanatical and semi-loonie Lewis has managed to wriggle out of professional sanction, except in 2018, when the Solicitors’ Disciplinary Tribunal fined and censured him for having tweeted violently-abusive things on social media.
Even then, supportive Jews stumped up, via a crowdfunder, the £12,500 penalty (being a fine plus costs). Lewis’s fine itself (£2,500) had been reduced by two-thirds because he had effectively no money. His own Counsel said to the Tribunal that Lewis had not only been affected mentally by his (prescription) drug intake, but that “his only assets” consisted of his own clothes, a mobility scooter, and a private pension worth £70 a week.
Lewis’s honesty, as well as his competence, has been in question for many many years.
In the Wilson case, should the recent defendant, Cantor, wish to have reduced his liability for the costs of the successful Claimant (Wilson), he has (it seems) little choice but to go after Lewis. Should Lewis have no or not sufficient means to satisfy the costs, then I suppose that Cantor’s remedy would be, in principle, to go after Lewis’s legal partners in the law firm to which he is now attached, Patron Law.
It will be interesting to see what eventually happens. Unfortunately, the costs will be less than they normally would be (had solicitors and Counsel represented the Claimant); it seems that Wilson represented himself much of the time.
Still, Cantor and maybe Wilson can both complain to the Solicitors’ Regulation Authority. I hope they both will.

If that were to happen, Russia will be able to take Ukraine east of the Dnieper very easily. It might even be able to take all of Ukraine, though it would, arguende, be both kinder and more statesmanlike to take only Eastern Ukraine, the Kiev area, the Black Sea coastal zone (including Odessa), also of course retaining the areas already controlled by Russia and which are inhabited by Russian-speakers (Crimea, Donbass etc). Leave a rump Ukraine centred on Lvov as a Ukrainian state, or at least autonomous territory.

I do not usually agree, or disagree, with the shambolic mess that is Rod Liddle. As with what he has to say in that clip, I usually find that I can agree with some of what he says or writes, but also disagree with much, and often more.

As often blogged previously in the past months, this situation has actually nothing much to do with Labour or Starmer, and everything to do with the fact that the once-great Conservative Party has been reduced to an incompetent snake-pit occupied mainly by careerist know-nothings, most of whom are not even British in any real sense.
Look at the past few years! First of all, the “panicdemic” or “scamdemic”, with its huge and unnecessary hit to the UK economy and society (don’t forget the latter). Vast sums spent on propaganda (including building pop-up “hospitals” that were never used, “test and trace” centres that were scarcely used, equipment that was mostly never used etc).
A Prime Minister who had no idea what to do, and so just did what sinister or crazy in-groups wanted: “SAGE”; Cummings, that cretin; Johnson’s own uneducated and foolish wife; over-promoted idiots of the Matt Hancock type.
Then we had that vacuous creature, Liz Truss, assisted by Woollyhead Trussbanger (Kwasi Kwarteng). 7 weeks of chaos.
Now we have, as supposed Prime Minister, Indian money-juggler Rishi Sunak, and a Cabinet such as has not been seen in the modern era, if ever— a collection of non-whites, Jews etc, few of whom are capable of running the whelk stall of popular perception.
The voters are mostly voting with their feet, not to Labour, as such, but away from any relationship with Sunak’s desperate rump of a party.
What lack of self-confidence has led the once-solid Conservative-voting ranks of (mostly) the South of England to accept as their MPs the likes of Suella Braverman, Kemi Badenoch etc? The idea that race and nation is irrelevant? The idea that someone such as (soon stepping down) Sajid Javid, a cultureless Pakistani obsessed by the worship of Jews, including the horrible “philosopher of selfishness”, “Ayn Rand” (Alisa Zinovyevna Rosenbaum), might make a suitable prime minister?
I attribute much of that to the worship of money. Sajid Javid made millions by helping to run Deutsche Bank into the ground. Sunak worked for Goldman Sachs, and married an ultra-wealthy Indian woman. What though, of Suella Braverman, a mediocre —at best— former practising barrister? The political crisis, a crisis of personnel largely, has come out of a race-culture crisis. British people are somehow embarrassed to express a wish for their leaders to even be, in any real sense, British.
Labour is no better, but the present Government is “Conservative”, at least in name. It is their General Election to lose, and it looks as though they are going to do that in style.
What is the present Sunak government actually doing that is good? Funnelling money and support to “Ukraine” (Zelensky’s regime) and Israel? Who in the UK, outside the special-interest cabals, wants that? Railways? Disastrous. Roads? Disastrous. Standards of living? Poor, and declining. Crime? The police are useless, the courts are useless. Immigration? Still they flood in…
Some, mainly elderly, people will still vote “Conservative” no matter what. Perhaps 20% of the whole. The rest will not.

Instead of doing that, Powell joined up with the Ulster Unionists. By doing that, he automatically became just a fringe politician. I suppose that he wanted to be a new Parnell, the head of a bloc of Westminster MPs. If so, he was deluding himself. Parnell had, at peak, 85 MPs; Powell’s UUP had only half a dozen, and he was not even their leader.
Nothing has exposed the corruption of politicians like calling the mass murder of defenseless children in Gaza ‘self-defense’.
Now you know how many politicians and media outlets the Israel lobby owns. Only the dishonorable and propagandized call such atrocities ‘self-defense’.

Almost worse than, and quite as sickening as, the behaviour of the armed forces of the Israeli Jews has been the weaselling behaviour of Jews in the UK, who claim (without any justification) to be “afraid”, yet who —many/most of them— either cheer on the Israeli attacks, or claim that bombing little children (who are at least a quarter of the population of Gaza) is “self-defence”, or in any case justified revenge for the attack by Hamas on southern Israel a month ago.

A good attitude. I myself have always taken the view that “one human soul is a big audience“, so it matters to me only slightly whether I get 1,000 hits on the blog in one day, 100, 10, or even 1.

For those who held their ground, they pulled out the big guns. People were banned from public spaces, they created a two tier society. Canada removed children from their unvaccinated father. Australia put people in camps.
They will do the same with 15 minute cities, a cashless society, AI brain chips and the list goes on. They start by convincing as many as possible to do it for their own good. Then they gradually increase the pressure until almost everyone complies. They know they can’t get everyone, but they will try. And they have far worse up their sleeve.
What they have planned next will make the scamdemic seem like a day at the beach in comparison. I’m not hear to spread fear, or negativity. This is the reality we face. Now is the time to be ready for the next stage. Never, ever let them do this to you again.“
Most people will comply, though, for reasons of convenience, money, careerism, whatever. A separation of the sheep from the goats has already started, and not only via the “scamdemic”/”panicdemic”. Various System campaigns.
The few who are awake are the better future, the many who comply are the evil future.
Because they realised if they sacked all of us non compliant staff the service (ie NHS) would stop and fail, as there were 100k+ of us who refused to have it.
Same here. Worked 32 yrs for the NHS. Loved it. The last 3 plus yrs I've been ashamed by what I've seen. It's been pseudoscience. Masks, stickers on the floors, 1 way routes, testing and jabs. I'm just waiting for leeches to be introduced.
“Campaign Against Antisemitism” rally in Parliament Square
The so-called “CAA” held a kind of rally in or by Parliament Square today. From film I saw on Twitter/X, looked as though it consisted of a few hundred Jews. The “CAA”, however claims “thousands“. They could not tell the truth if it bit them.
I predicted years ago that the missiles used by Palestinian Arab forces would become far more sophisticated than the early models, which were much like large fireworks. That was about a decade ago. Think a decade ahead. What will confront the Israelis then? Israel is still the pre-eminent military power in the region, but this may be the tipping point for Israel, even if the Israeli Jews flatten all of Gaza, and then kill or drive out its 2M suffering people.
