Chris Bryant [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chris_Bryant] is, in lay language, a traitor. Member of Labour Friends of Israel, pro-Israel warmonger, and supporter of mass immigration into this country. A very sleazy ex-Church of England priest, former Common Purpose employee, and also an expenses cheat, effectively a fraudster. Appalling in every way.

People such as Bryant get money, honours etc in our degraded country. Just disgusting.

A sterilization programme should be high on the agenda (probably not necessary in the case of Bryant, though).

The voters of Rhondda, now Rhondda and Ogmore, have been too silly in the past to see that Labour (since 1997, at least) gives them nothing, and have voted Bryant in, repeatedly, despite everything about him saying “no“. However, Reform must at least be in with a chance next time: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rhondda_and_Ogmore_(UK_Parliament_constituency)#Elections_in_the_2020s.

The Kiev regime has shown itself capable (both in moral terms and practically) of carrying out quite sophisticated attacks akin to terrorism in and around Russia. What it cannot do is to win where it matters— in the battlefield space. Russian forces continue to make steady if unspectacular progress across Eastern Ukraine.

[Lindsey Graham, among others]

I think the next UK General Election has probably just been won.

Raus!

This is what happens when you commit mass ethnic cleansing, drive out the original inhabitants of a country, then repopulate that country with the sweepings of the ghettos, prisons, and labour camps of Europe.

Then the courts will have to be dealt with. We are getting into the glacial mess that characterizes American politics, whereby the executive power is trammelled by politicized judges (on the Supreme Court of the USA in that country, and by various higher courts in the UK).

Salus populi suprema lex esto— the welfare of the people is the highest law [Cicero].

As for that lady tweeter, she is fatally out of touch with the English/British heartlands. She has founded an offshoot of the Conservative Party she calls #Moderates. Her ex-husband was MP for Poole, turfed out by a mere 7 votes at GE 2024, and she was employed by him at about £50,000 a year via his Parliamentary expenses, “a nice little earner” (until it stopped).

I do not know whether the pseudo-Conservative “Moderates” exist outside the lady’s own mind (I suspect not); neither do I know whether they are the product of a bottle of whatever the lady may habitually drink.

In any event, the “Moderates” idea goes nowhere. UK politics (as this blog has always predicted) are becoming more “extreme”. People want clear and radical policies to —and I use the word advisedly— save this country at a very late hour.

At a guess, an educated guess, I should say that the policies for which that lady advocates (pro-immigration, getting rid of the Triple Lock, rejoining the EU, supporting the Kiev regime etc) would, as a compendium, probably attract the votes of, at best, 5% of the population. At best. Totally out of touch. In any case, there is already a party that pushes such policies— the LibDems (currently around 10% in the polls, but mainly because they are a default choice or “dustbin party”).

At, again, a guess, I should think that the membership of the so-called “Moderates” consists of the lady herself and however many bottles she can line up.

If “Rachel from Accounts and Customer Relations” Reeves scraps the Triple Lock, almost all voters from about age 50 or 55 will scrap her and, with her, Labour. At a time when Labour are running at about 20% in the opinion polls, that would be the final nail, if not already hammered home, in the Labour coffin.

As noted previously on the blog, a little judicious “racism” would have saved untold thousands of young English girls from being raped, exploited, and/or impregnated by non-Europeans. Unfortunately, System “education” in the UK (and other European countries, such as Norway and Sweden) does not teach young white English/British girls only to have relations with white English/British/real European men. On the contrary, it encourages race-mixing.

[BDM (League of German Girls) riders in the forest, 1930s]

How much longer can the exhausted army of the Kiev regime (those troops not killed, captured, or badly wounded) keep the front-lines intact? Not long, I think, no matter how much money and materiel the EU and USA send to Zelensky.

The poor taxpayers of the EU and UK are having billions of Euros wasted, thanks to Starmer, Macron, Merz, Ursula von der Leyen etc throwing money at the Zelensky regime.

I should not be surprised were the Jew Zelensky not to end up like Mussolini or Gaddafi; having said that, he will probably flee to California, Florida, or Israel.

I would not usually repost something from such a Jew-Zionist fanatic, but truth is truth, and his tweet there is completely correct.

Like something from a dystopian sci-fi film. The karmic weight on the (Israeli and other) Jews will be backbreaking.

A good idea. After all, turning it around, what stops Russian tanks also stops those of Western Europe. The Soviet Union would have been defeated in 1941 had it had decent roads. I like the restoration of Nature anyway.

As noted previously on the blog. In fact, in the end, about 80% of the supposed “asylum-seekers” are allowed to stay. Starmer-stein will make sure that that figure rises to 90%, and even the ones that eventually fail to make a case will, most of them, not be deported.

Under the now completely outdated rules and principles established after WW2, there are quite literally hundreds of millions of people who might make out a case for asylum in the UK, the state the world is in. Are our so-called “leaders”, the System political idiots, going to allow them all in? What do you think our society will look like then (before it collapses)?

Exactly.

They prefer the kind of war that involves (((them))) raining down missiles on defenceless women and children, as in Gaza and elsewhere.

I examined that question, among many others, in one of my most popular blog posts (see below):

News you will probably not see in the UK msm.

A nasty, pointless, clueless bunch, posing as a government.

[“I was on my boat late last night & thought I heard a scrabbling noise coming from outside. I saw movement out of the corner of my eye & looked up to see a fox had come through my open boat hatch & was climbing into my bed! It didn’t flinch or run away when I turned to it & instead slowly sussed me out & gently sauntered back off the boat. It feels like the longer I live in nature, the more comfortable all creatures become with me and my presence.“]

Not before time.

The press-gangs of the Kiev regime working overtime to replace the huge losses on the front-lines.

That cannot be the main shopping centre. Kharkov had 1.2M inhabitants before the war.

Those British people who are still asleep must awaken.

All so that civilized European countries can waste the resources that should be going to the future of those countries on the maintenance —forever— of million upon million non-European parasites and their offspring. Scarcely any will make a positive contribution (even leaving aside the racial-demographic aspects); most will be (and are) at best parasites, at worst criminal or terroristic.

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2025/06/10/britain-could-be-heading-towards-civil-war-labour-reform-uk/

Even msm commentators are slowly waking up…

The Glamour Boys: The Secret Story of the Rebels who Fought for Britain to Defeat Hitler” tells the story of a small, loosely-knit group of rebel Conservative MPs who, from the mid-1930s onward, repeatedly warned of the dangers posed by Nazism, highlighted the plight of the Jews and vigorously opposed the appeasement policy of their own party’s prime minister, Neville Chamberlain.”

[Times of Israel]

Incidentally, the photo in the piece, purportedly Dachau camp in 1933, is in fact —as some readers’ comments also point out— Dachau camp in 1945, showing American soldiers in the course of shooting German prisoners.

Britain should never have gone to war with National Socialist Germany.

Runcorn and Helsby by-election— latest

https://www.newstatesman.com/politics/elections/2025/04/labour-has-nothing-to-be-happy-about-in-runcorn-and-helsby

Interesting view and analysis from the New Statesman. Not as tendentious as one might have expected.

Another view, this time from Cheshire Live: https://www.cheshire-live.co.uk/news/chester-cheshire-news/election-sees-voters-questioning-labours-31522527.

According to one poll, the only two significant contenders, Reform and Labour, are neck and neck, both around 35% of the vote. As to the bookmakers —in my experience a less reliable indicator— Reform are odds-on favourites at about 1/2; Labour 2/1: https://www.betfair.com/exchange/plus/politics/market/1.241434500.

As previously blogged, the only ways to sink Labour in this seat, and to at least “send a message” to Starmer-stein, are either to vote Reform or to vote anywhere but Labour or, failing that, not to vote at all. Whatever you do, do not vote (fake, taken-over) Labour.

I still think that Reform may smash this, but concede that I may be wrong. We shall soon know— the by-election is in three days’ time, Thursday 1 May 2025.

Import backward populations, import their religious, social, political and other behaviours. Surely that is not too hard for people to grasp, even those brainwashed by “anti-racist” propaganda?

Only a disciplined social-national movement can now save Britain and all Europe. Reform UK is a mere way-station. The real deal will come after Reform and all existing System parties are shoved aside.

She cannot believe that her treasured fake “centrist” parties have been found wanting by the British people. She has even invented a non-existent “moderate” party (it exists in her mind and tweets but nowhere else). Its “moderate” policies would include near-open borders, huge amounts of money funneled to Zelensky’s corrupt dictatorship, and huge, even unstinting, support for Israel and the Jewish lobby.

Nein danke…

Unfortunately, Douglas Murray is “a white man in a suit” who is a complete puppet of the Jewish/Zionist/Israel lobby. I should not complain about “racism” were it such that it were defending true European race and culture.

Of course, were anyone to denigrate “a black man in a suit” in the msm or System media, something seen daily, there would be uproar; the police (in their new chosen role as a poundshop Stasi) would probably get involved, in fact.

A legally-erudite nitwit and complete puppet of Israel: see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Kennedy_(Louisiana_politician) and https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/John_Kennedy_(Louisiana_politician)#Foreign_policy.

Yes, the USA might well be able to deploy 10x the military-destructive power that Russia can. Maybe even more. However, simple mathematics says that 0 x 10 is no different than 0 x 1. Once you are destroyed, you cannot be destroyed all over again.

Yes, it may be that the major Russian cities and towns and military bases could all be obliterated by American nuclear weapons, but I dare say that the 100 biggest American cities could also be largely destroyed by Russian missiles, together with the major American military facilities.

Would the Senator from Louisiana count that as a victory? New Orleans counts as no. 53, and Baton Rouge is at no. 107. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/List_of_United_States_cities_by_population.

Saturday quiz

Well, 6/10 this week, trumping the 2/10 scored by political journalist John Rentoul. I did not know the answers to questions 2, 3, 5, and 8.

The Jewish-Zionist plot to bring down Corbyn

The website Declassified UK has published a review of a book on the anti-Corbyn campaign, headlined “Morgan McSweeney’s ‘plot without precedent in Labour history’— A new book chronicles how Labour strategist Morgan McSweeney used ‘any means necessary’ to destroy Corbyn as leader and install Starmer.”

As one would expect, the book and the review both term the anti-Corbyn plotters “the Right“, rather than “Jews” or “Jew-Zionists”; and they use the now so-outdated “Right/Left” descriptors.

In fact, the plot to topple Corbyn was plainly one planned and funded by pro-Israeli, and probably actual Israeli, sources at root, though carried out by Zionists or pro-Zionists not all of which were Jews (though many were).

I followed Corbyn’s progress on the blog almost from when the blog started in late 2016; certainly from 2017. It was clear to me that there was a basically Jewish —and almost certainly also Israeli— conspiracy to topple him.

Not that I much favoured Corbyn, a relatively uneducated man with simplistic socialist policy viewpoints. Also, while being anti-Israeli, Corbyn always gave lip-service to some of the Zionist propaganda regulars, such as the WW2 “holocaust” narrative. He was not ruthless enough to crush his enemies.

Still, Corbyn was at least a recognizable and relatively decent English type. Starmer (“Starmer-stein”) has no decency and is just a careerist drone, out for what he can get, as witness his grabbing whatever freebies, expenses-paid items, holiday trips etc he and his Jewish wife can grab. Also, of course, his directionless travel on policy.

The fake-Labour “welfare” cuts, the cheating of the pensioners, unemployed, sick, disabled etc. The U-turn on the “trans” nonsense, too. On the one hand on his knees (literally, with Angela Rayner) before the black mobs of “Black Lives Matter”, but then playing the poundshop Stalin when English people got angry at the migration-invasion.

The website post is worth reading, but cannot be linked to, it seems.

I wonder. I am minded to think that, even if a temporary peace is agreed soon, it will not last. Russia must take and retain all of the territory east of the Dnieper.

Balashikha is, inter alia, a kind of colony for high-ranking Russian military people, situated east of Moscow, and a kind of outer suburb.

The Kiev regime seems to be able to hit individuals in Russia quite efficiently. It is an open question whether the Kiev-regime secret services have, or have had, the help of the CIA and/or MOSSAD to do that. Not the CIA any more, I should have thought.

Of course, such assassinations, while high-profile, do not change the fact that, on the ground in Ukraine, Russian forces continue to advance steadily on all relevant sectors of the front.

As I predicted long ago on the blog. I said that Starmer-stein would try to “solve” the “small boats” migration-invasion by “processing” claims (rubberstamping them) swiftly, possibly overseas, thus magically turning illegal immigrants into legal ones, then emptying the asylum hotels by gifting the invaders council housing or State-paid private rental housing that should be going to British people.

I hope that the voters of Runcorn and Helsby send a firm message —by voting Reform— to Starmer-stein at the by-election next Thursday.

Runcorn and Helsby, this is your chance to make history.

On those figures, Reform would have well over 250 MPs, Labour fewer than 190, and the Cons only 75. The Cons might then be the third-largest party in the Commons, but possibly only the fourth-largest. Terminal.

That evil spirit, Ursula von der Leyen, talks about peace, while supplying the brutal and corrupt Kiev regime dictatorship with huge amounts of arms, ammunition, and EU taxpayers’ money.

Wherever two or more are gathered in my name...” (but are they?).

Runcorn and Helsby voters!— do what you have to do next Thursday to sink Labour. If you vote Reform, well and good. If you want to vote Green or elsewhere, OK. Whatever you do, don’t vote Starmer-stein fake Labour, even if it means just staying home.

So that’s the end of that…

Glad I am not in his boots (whether guilty or not).

[“I firmly believe the UK is now hurtling toward a major political earthquake. Look at the numbers in the latest polling, compared to the general election last year. Amid the worst cost-of-living crisis since the Second World War, soaring and uncontrolled immigration, deteriorating public services, a glaring lack of social integration, and a succession of scandals that have rocked the Labour government, from the rape gangs to Freebiegate, voters are now on the move. Compared to the 2024 general election, Keir Starmer and Labour are down more than 10-points on just 24%. Kemi Badenoch and the Tories are down 2-points on just 22%, showing no sign of recovery. And the Liberal Democrats are up 1-point, averaging just 13.6%. But now look at Reform. As we’ve been predicting and analysing in our newsletter for two years (showing why people are voting Reform and the areas where it is building strength), Reform is now up 11-points to 25%. And that’s not all. As I explain below, Reform is now hitting both the Tories but especially Labour in unique and powerful ways, looking set for a major breakthrough as it inherits the post-Brexit realignment.”]

Yes, but Reform can only be a transitional party, existing in the space between the existing System parties and a social nationalist movement which, as yet, does not exist.

The next big test will be the Runcorn and Helsby by-election. 9 days from today. Those voters could make history. Will they?

We” are not imposing anything. It has been imposed on us by the System parties, and mainly at the behest of the Jewish/Zionist/Israel lobby…but don’t expect Goodwin to say anything about that

Does “their” thirst for vengeance and retribution never stop?

He noted that the Kiev regime continues to steal money from the Ukrainian people, we are talking about billion-dollar accounts that are located abroad. And Western weapons supplied to Ukraine constantly end up on the black market.“]

If the Kiev regime does not come to terms shortly, then the war will continue until unconditional surrender, or worse.

That could have been predicted.

I disagree with the lady tweeter. The “4 MPs” of Reform UK are 4 and not 93 (650 x 14.29%) only by reason of a stupid, illogical, and totally unfair electoral system. See https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2024_United_Kingdom_general_election#Full_results.

In rough terms, at the 2024 General Election, Reform scored about 2 votes out of every 12 cast. Labour got 4 out of every 12, the Con Party 3 out of every 12. In fact, 8 out of every 20 eligible did not even vote, so Labour was endorsed by only 4 out of 20.

About half of those Labour votes were cast by people who now realize that Starmer-stein lied to them about almost everything. That is why Labour (supported mainly by non-white voters) is now around the same level as Reform UK.

The unfair FPTP electoral system gives the false impression that only a tiny fringe supported Reform at GE 2024; in fact it was over 14%, and the Conservative Party, with all its money and history (and in government until the General Election) only scored 23%.

Widespread and angry political dissent is not going to go away even if Reform does. Popular discontent will simply find another channel to flow down. Another party, or a new movement of some kind, perhaps a social-national movement which goes beyond being simply a political party.

James O’Brien, a radio would-be know-all who is often pretty ignorant.

What’s wrong with the other 53%? Actually, the “53%” is nearer to 33% or even lower, because at least 20% of the whole population is now non-European and their votes should not be taken into account in such a poll.

A good majority of white (i.e. British) people are now firmly hostile to immigration.

At last.

Really? If so, the SVR is not doing its job very well…

Saturday quiz

Ah…this week my 5/10 was beaten by the 6/10 scored by political journalist John Rentoul. I might have scored higher but could only get the answers to questions 1, 4, 6, 7, and 8.

Wall. Squad. End.

The judge in question should be removed from the bench, having been influenced, as must have been the case, by the panicky demands of Starmer-stein on TV in relation to the street protests and connected online remarks made against the migrant-invaders.

There is no serious attempt to stop even illegal migration, while nominally or superficially “legal” migration continues at a rate about 20x greater, at least. We are talking about 500,000-1,500,000 every single year.

The major institutions of the UK are riddled with treachery.

Starmer-stein has just sent the latest tranche of British taxpayers’ money, £450M of it, to the brutal dictatorship of the Jew Zelensky in Kiev.

Meanwhile, also, Starmer-stein and thick-as-two-short-planks Angela Rayner have postponed many local council elections across England.

The Runcorn and Helsby by-election, though, has not been “postponed”, and it looks as though Reform may win it. I should have thought that Reform would smash it, but the “experts” are all saying it may be close between Reform and Labour.

True, Labour got over 50% of the vote in 2024 (Reform 18.1%, Cons 16%), but 2024 was a different world.

Since then, the Labour MP (who looked like an idiot anyway) for Runcorn and Helsby has stepped down after having drunkenly assaulted a constituent in the street. Also, Starmer-stein has thrown away billion upon billion to “Ukraine” (the Jewish regime in Kiev), to Israel (via military assistance), and to those in Africa and Asia who hate us.

Britain continues to be invaded, daily, by literally thousands of blacks and browns (millions every couple of years); also, British people are not only having their living standards further reduced (after 14 years of equally bad and in fact very similar “Conservative” misgovernment), but having their free speech rights hacked away.

Are there really enough dummies voting, even in a once-hardcore Labour area such as Runcorn, to elect another Starmer-stein drone MP? I hope not. Former Labour voters will, I think, either stay home or vote Reform, while only the most stupid and hide-bound former Con voters will turn out to vote at the by-election for a Con candidate who has no chance at all and may well lose his deposit. Those former Con voters who mainly want to stick it to Labour have no choice but to vote Reform tactically.

There are 15 candidates [https://www.bbc.co.uk/news/articles/c8d4yvg1lzgo] but only Reform and Labour are of any importance.

Something has to give in the body politic. It may be that that will become apparent at Runcorn and Helsby. Reform UK is just the start of a process, however. Social nationalism must eventually arise.

The “Campaign Against Antisemitism” [“CAA”] operates, like so many Jewish/Zionist/Israeli orgs, under a cloak of secrecy. Its address is secret, its funding is secret, and most of its supporters’ names are secret. It contrives complaints to professional regulators and to the police (usually via “Slitherman”, as some call its self-styled “Director of Investigations and Enforcement”), and tries to bully both individuals and organizations.

“Slitherman” himself was exposed years ago, in open court, and by the bungling of the CAA’s Jewish solicitor, as a pseudonymous online troll, taunting (almost exclusively) women on social media; some had suffered nervous harm as a result. Since then, “Slitherman” has not, as far as I know, had the courage to give evidence (or perjured evidence) in court, but relies on backstairs manipulation of police and CPS.

Incidentally, “Slitherman” was not alone in his online trolling of women (and a few men as well). There was a whole little group. The others, though, all seem to have —permanently— stopped…

“Slitherman” himself now mostly retweets tweets from the “CAA” (quite likely drafted by him anyway).

I understand (I believe I read, anyway) that Starmer-stein, despite being a total puppet of Israel and Jewish Zionism, instructed his staff a couple of years ago not to interact with the “CAA”; in any case, and whatever the truth of that, Starmer is probably more connected to the more “established” Jewish/Zionist orgs, such as the “Board of Deputies of British Jews” and the “Community Security Trust” [“CST”].

The “CAA” has damaged itself by its constant litany of false complaints, wasting of police time, wasting of CPS resources, and by the lies and actual perjury (albeit never punished properly, as yet) of its leading members and supporters.

Graham is a complete puppet for Israel. They must pay him plenty.

All the same, it is worrying that a U.S. Senator thinks that a country with a possible (soon, or potential) 6 nuclear devices could “destroy” both Israel and the USA itself by the use of them! Admittedly, his phrasing was not quite as the tweet reports, but Graham is still a danger to his own constituents.

He must be far more afraid of Russia, which is said to possess some 6,600 such weapons!

[“Trump is not interested in continuing to support Ukraine with weapons or participating in conflicts , said Margarita Simonyan, editor-in-chief of the Russia Today media group and RT. “We have every reason to believe that he (Trump – editor’s note) would really like to end the war in Ukraine in one day. And he really doesn’t care about this Ukraine. And he really doesn’t want to help with even more weapons, to spend an insane amount of money on this,” Simonyan said on the air of the program “Right to Know”.”]

Of course, “Rachel from Accounts” Reeves is a pathetically-incompetent System political drone, elevated (like so many MPs and ministers) far above her level of both competence and education, let alone integrity.

I’m loving this. The future for the UK lies in a loose but friendly relationship with Russia (and, if possible, the rest of Europe), not with the outworn UK-US “Special Relationship” which, for at least the last 70 years, has been a one-way colonial relationship, with Britain as the colony.

News from the migration-invasion

“A 12-year-old girl was forced into carrying out an abortion by one of her alleged rapists, a court has heard.

The schoolchild was coerced into being filmed during the gang attack in Vienna, Austria, by multiple teenagers from different countries.

The girl was attacked between February and June of 2023 in different locations across the city, with 17 people under investigation on suspicion of sexually abusing the victim.

Earlier this month, Austrian police said the suspects, mostly minors, included Austrian, Italian, Bulgarian, Serbian, Turkish and Syrian boys.

But the young girl’s 18-year-old ‘boyfriend’ was the first to be convicted of sexual abuse in a gang rape incident.

Named Wais S, the Afghan national reportedly knew the victim was underage, and impregnated her.

He also admitted to blackmailing her into aborting the child, coercing her to do so with videos of the pair having sex.

Wais was sentenced to just 15 months probation and £670 in damages.”

Re. the case Wilson v. Mendelsohn, Newbon (deceased), and Cantor

Those tweets by James Wilson, the victorious claimant (plaintiff) in the libel case Wilson v. Mendelsohn, Newbon (deceased), and Cantor, refer to two of the solicitors (perhaps the only two) and barrister (perhaps the only one— I do not know) of the defendants.

As seen, all the lawyers shown are Jewish. All of the defence witnesses were also Jews, as were the defendants (one may have been only part-) .

As far as I know, every last one of the witnesses were Jews. The trial judge assessed those witnesses’ veracity and relevance as having been (in my own words) rock-bottom. Worthless.

One of the witnesses for the defence was the fanatical and obsessed Jew-Zionist barrister and, until dismissed, part-time judge (Recorder), Simon Myerson of Leeds/Manchester, infamous for his nasty and malicious tweets etc.

The successful claimant in that case, Wilson, a Northern English academic, did well to stand up to the usual Jew-Zionist “claque” and clique pressure (whereby “they” band together to relentlessly attack a victim).

Well, Wilson won, and now (because notorious Jew-Zionist solicitor, Mark Lewis, was apparently both dishonest and negligent in his handling of the matter, and may also have deliberately misled the Court) at least one of the defendants, Cantor, will probably lose his family home (not that I have any sympathy for him).

Well, if Wilson believes that, and has the evidence (as it seems he may have), he should complain to the Bar Standards Board: https://www.barstandardsboard.org.uk/for-the-public/reporting-concerns.html.

Regular readers will be aware that I have in the past blogged extensively about the defaults of the egregious Jew-Zionist solicitor, Mark Lewis. See, for example:

“Rachel from Accounts and Customer Relations” Reeves is an idiot. As is cretinous Liz Kendall.

While I do not think very much of Reform UK, the voters of Runcorn and Helsby must vote Reform at the by-election, to stick it to the System, to fake Labour, and to Starmer-stein.

Good grief. Even someone as callous as Therese Coffey thinks that some of the Liz Kendall/”Rachel from Accounts” Reeves/Starmer-stein social security cutbacks are too harsh and blanket! (and she supports the rest!).

Is this a Labour government in anything other than name or, really, label? I think not. Over to you, voters of Runcorn and Helsby.

Incidentally, my assessment of Therese Coffey, from some years ago but updated many times, has proven very popular:

Talking point

She has a point.

As for Goodwin, I recently flagged the possibility, no more, that he might be on the following trajectory— win a by-election (Runcorn & Helsby?) as a Reform UK candidate, take over from Farage the leadership of Reform (with Farage’s support), and then (once Reform has become the largest party in the Commons after the next general election ) become Prime Minister.

It might just happen.

However, as that tweeter “Serena Brown” notes, either the UK becomes again a homogenous society, or it does not. There would be no point in a Reform UK government if it were unwilling to take the steps necessary.

This is not merely about immigration, and certainly not only about that relatively small part of immigration which comes in via the infamous “small boats”. It is about the non-whites already here, who are breeding much faster than the English/British, who themselves are not even reproducing their own numbers.

When we see Reform, we notice that it is ideologically in hock to the Jew-Zionist lobby, and pathetically adherent to Israel and Israeli interests.

I have blogged previously about the bad joke that is Shabana Mahmood as “Lord Chancellor” and Secretary of State for Justice— a Pakistani woman whose total legal experience has been a 12-month Bar pupillage (decades ago), followed by a year as a salaried “gopher” at a firm of solicitors. Use the search box on the blog to find out more.

Starmer-stein is not a Labour prime minister (even of the Tony Blair/Gordon Brown type); he is a Labour Friends of Israel prime minister, and that applies, mutatis mutandis, to virtually his entire Cabinet.

Starmer-stein and his Cabinet should face real resistance from the British people.

Meanwhile, Starmer-stein continues to try to play the “world statesman” and would-be war leader, and looks ever-more pathetic as he makes that attempt.

When simply noting the totally obvious sounds radical…

That influx of non-white doctors has another consequence: by reason of the high pay received by doctors in the UK, any offspring are automatically given a better life-chance than most white English/British children. The knock-on result is that more non-whites are going to be placed into the higher socio-economic groups in the UK, thus further weakening our civilized European culture and society.

Coudenhove-Kalergi Plan: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Kalergi_Plan; https://www.amazon.com.be/-/nl/Richard-Coudenhove-Kalergi/dp/1913057097.

Exactly. Reform is the last hope of many, but it is also the last chance for the System itself to survive. If Reform is squashed or disappears, we are looking at quite likely civil war, or social war, and the national revolution, down the line. However, if Reform manages to be either the largest or second-largest party after 2028 or 2029, or even in government with a Commons majority, but then fails to take the steps necessary, we shall also be looking at not-unlikely civil/social war.

We must not forget that the Jew-Zionist element is embedded in Reform. One only has to look at the pronouncements of Farage, Tice, and now Goodwin.

Still, at present, Reform UK is the only game in town:

Hopefully, that little bully will be found and prosecuted, but of course his punishment, if any, will be slight, in the present society.

When the law ceases to be respected, or enforced (by reason of weak and/or politicized police, prosecutors, courts), such lawlessness leads, in the end, to the public taking the law into their own hands, and meting out more condign punishment to evildoers.

Not for nothing has “the Bailey” (Central Criminal Court, London) the following inscription on its facade: Punish the evildoer, and protect the children of the poor

I agree, but it may be that Reform has to succeed but then crash and burn before a social-national movement (of any type) can arise.

It will be recalled how warmly Starmer-stein welcomed Farage into the chamber of the House of Commons for the first time.

Russian forces continue to advance on all fronts.

Who makes up stupid rules like that anyway? Small-minded people who think that the natural world is not connected with humanity. Glad that those BBC people broke the “rules” laid down.

I often break rules, and feel good about doing so.

…and cretins of that sort (Mark Field, Liz Truss etc) purport to have the right (and ability) to rule over us. Wall. Squad. End.

My question is whether Goodwin himself is going to be the candidate…

If so, the date of the by-election will soon be set, maybe even tomorrow.

The government says it wants to make significant savings on welfare payments to the disabled and help the disabled into work. The point, say all ministers – led Sir Keir Starmer – is not to harm the disabled, but to free them from a life of dependency. That, they claim, is why this is a truly “Labour” reform — and not just brutal cuts engineered by Rachel Reeves because she needs billions in savings so as not to breach arbitrary, self-imposed fiscal rules on the assessment date of 26 March. Is any of this plausible?

The first thing to say is the point of fiscal rules should be to help focus minds in government about how best to share scarce resources between different important resources. They should not set hard deadlines for making decisions with potentially profound consequences for the lives of millions of people.

We’ve already seen an example of the political dangers of trying to rush through changes to personal independence payments (PIP) and the health related elements of universal credit – because one element that was particularly upsetting to Labour MPs has already been dropped, namely a one year freeze on PIP payments.

But as my colleague Anushka Asthana has been exclusively disclosing for the last ten days, this was only one part of the welfare reform package. The other elements were to restrict entitlement to personal independence payments, while cutting the health-related universal credit payments and recycling those UC savings into an increase in the standard rate of UC. You can see in this the simple story and perhaps simplistic story about welfare payments to the disabled that the government believes and is trying to tell.

First, that hundreds of thousands of people receive cash to help with their living and mobility costs, but don’t “deserve” it.

Second, that the structure of UC payments provides too great an incentive to disabled people to sign themselves off work to get the health-related benefits top up.

Starmer will doubtless take comfort from the fact that – according to polling by the Good Growth Foundation – 60% believe the system provides too much support to people who don’t want to work and 39% think that it’s too easy for people to get benefits who don’t need them. But popular belief does not make it true. And before going further into the nitty gritty, it is worth doing a quick economic reality check. It is a fact that the proportion of British people in employment has fallen since Covid and, unlike many other rich economies, has not recovered to 2019 levels. But the proportion of British people who are working remains high by international standards. According to the OECD, in the third quarter of 2023 the UK ranked fifth in the world, with an employment rate of 74.9%, well ahead of the US for example, and behind only Iceland, the Netherlands, Japan and Germany

Even if it is a laudible ambition to encourage more people into work. The UK’s is not an economy whose failure is that too few people are working. The grotesque failure of the British economy is hardly a mystery.

It is that living standards for those in work have barely increased for more than 15 years and too many of those in work receive too little to pay even for food, energy and other essentials.

Pretty much every competitor country whose employment rate has recovered to pre-covid levels has higher productivity and higher wages than the UK. Which might tell you that Britain’s problem is not that its benefit system is skewiff but that it’s the labour market itself that is broken, that remunerated toil in Britain delivers inadequate incentives. And by the way, we don’t have a benefit system in the UK that is remotely generous or lavish by international standards.

Research published only last week by the National Institute for Economic and Social Research showed that we spend less on welfare as a share of GDP than the average for developed nations.

Also when it comes to the so-called replacement rate – what any unemployed person receives as a proportion of earnings from employment – only the unemployed in Australia and the US receive less.

Unemployment payments are significantly higher everywhere else in Europe, for example.

And another thing. As the Joseph Rowntree Foundation has shown, standard universal credit does not cover the costs of basics and essentials, for families or single people. “Ah ha!” you may exclaim, especially if you are the PM or chancellor. Surely this proves that there is a unhealthy incentive in the UC system for any claimant to prove that he or she has “limited capacity for work or work related activity” – to be diagnosed as unfit for work – so that their UC entitlements would go (for a single person) from £400 to £823, a month. But is an extra £106 a week the kind of incentive that would persuade a vulnerable person to permanently shut down their availability for work?

And if it were cut and partly offset by a rise in standard universal credit – which is what Starmer plans – would that persuade the vulnerable person to look for jobs?

That doesn’t feel compelling as an argument – especially in a world where most employers are reluctant to employ disabled people, let alone retain them on their books.

So another concern about the timing of these welfare changes is they come well before the findings of an equally important government review, that by former John Lewis boss Charlie Mayfield about how employers can be helped to retain and hire disabled people. Later this week he will publish his “discovery” document, about why employers struggle to keep in employment those who start to feel unwell, especially those suffering from mental ill-health. However Mayfield is still months away from recommendations.

In other words, it feels cart-before-horse to take cash from the disabled before a new support system is in place for employers to keep on their books those who are struggling.

As for the proposal to increase the threshold for those claiming the PIP, this will have an impact both on new claimants and those in receipt who are subject to review. How many disabled people could see their PIP payments reduced or withdrawn altogether?

Very large numbers indeed, according to the Resolution Foundation if it remains the Treasury’s aim to find net savings of up to £6bn by 2029-30. Louise Murphy of the Foundation estimates that more than 600,000 people, most on low incomes, would lose £675 a month on average.

Obviously this is all still hypothetical. Proper judgement awaits publication of the Liz Kendall’s policy paper tomorrow. But a change in entitlement on that magnitude will generate massive anxieties in those who both receive PIP and may need it in future.

None of this is to argue that any government should ignore the forecast that on current trends the cost of PIP is set to rise by £15bn by 2029 or that large numbers of especially young people are being excluded by disability from the world of work too young. It is to suggest that reforms that could reduce benefit bills in the long run will require large expenditure in the short term on mental health provision, skills, rewiring coaching and job search at the DWP, occupational health support for companies and so on.

A rational approach would see the costs of supporting the disabled rise in the short term. It would be an investment programme, not a cuts programme. With the supposedly all-important fiscal assessment looming, we’ll see if that’s what Starmer , Kendall and Reeves unveil. 2/2

[Robert Peston]

A long comment, but important.

For me, the answer to all this a a “basic income” system, whereby all citizens (note, citizens, not any African or Afghan or similar just off the boat) get some modest amount of income regardless of any factor such as contribution, need, or “deservedness”.

That would also save vast amounts by enabling the shutdown of 95% of the DWP bureaucracy.
