I have seen a few tweets noting that, in another recent opinion poll, Reform’s share dipped to about 28% after its recent annual conference, but those tweets are mistaken insofar as they say that the lower Reform UK level therefore shows increased support for Labour or Con. I think not. People are not intending to vote Reform to get a Farage/Reform government; they are intending to vote Reform in order to stamp on and kick Lab and Con.
Look at 2024. Voters voted Labour (or abstained) in order to kick out the Cons and their “great non-white hope”, the little Indian money-juggler, Sunak. Labour thus gained an unmerited large Commons majority even though, out of every 20 eligible voters, a plurality, 8 out of the 20, did not even vote; 4 out of every 20 voted Labour; 3 out of every 20 voted Con; 2-3 out of 20 voted Reform; another 2-3 voted LibDem, and 1 out of 20 voted Green.
The point is that, having binned the fake Conservatives, the voters now want to bin fake Labour. The result of that will be that Reform benefits by default, as Labour did in 2024. The wish of the people, though, is not Reform government, as such. They accept, whether consciously or not, that that will be the inevitable result of binning both main System parties, but their wish is just to have an effective government, and a society which puts Britain and British people first.
It is hard to say what the “ceiling” of Reform, in percentage terms, may be. The opinion polls have had Reform as high as 35%, so far. That may stretch to 40% or higher; we do not know. I certainly think it doubtful that either Con or Lab will get to 35% before the next general election. Lab may or may not get to 30% (I doubt it); the Cons are unlikely to go higher than 25%, or even 20%.
As often said, my hope is that Reform beats Con and Lab, but then fails in government, leaving the field wide open for the advance of a social-national movement that, at present, does not exist in a formal sense.

I have just looked at a few recent tweets by Steele. He is, it seems to me, in danger of becoming obsessed by the idea of Trump as Russian secret (or not-so-secret) agent.
Reform has probably fallen back a bit by reason of two factors: its kneejerk pro-Israel, pro-Jewish lobby pronouncements, and the perception (seen in comments by pro-Reform Matt Goodwin, as well in some by Tice etc) that Reform wants to radically cut back the Welfare State.

Ah. Interesting. Looks as though the numbers of alleged victims have been edited down. I thought that the Jews/Israelis were still claiming that about 1,000, or even 1,500, had been killed. Seems that (as happened at the “reconstructed” site of the early 1940s Auschwitz camp, where a “4 million victims” sign was officially altered to about a quarter of that figure), the 1,500 supposedly killed by Palestinian Arabs in southern Israel in 2023 is now 378, at least at the festival itself. The other hundreds of victims, if they existed at all, were presumably killed by the brutal Israeli armed forces themselves as “collateral damage”.
None of that, though, explains how the Israeli Jews (and those supporting them in the UK and elsewhere) think that the deaths of 378 Jews etc by a particular paramilitary/political group somehow justifies the killing by Israeli Jewish forces of anything up to 200,000 Palestinian Arabs, mostly civilian, mostly women and children (about half of the victims being under 18 years of age). Retaliation? Revenge? Blood lust? Cruelty and sadism?

He asked if I wanted to take it any further and, honestly, I didn’t. The pointlessness of reporting a crime so long after the event is infuriating – it’s a tick-box exercise, nothing more.
The chances of the police catching a gang with my vague description of their clothes and ethnicity must be almost nil.
Ultimately, pursuing a report would mean me enduring a bureaucratic hurdle – filling in more forms online, having more phone calls. And for what?
All of this could have been avoided if there were more police on our streets, which would serve as a deterrent to these thugs. It’s futile having a police force at all in London if they can’t adequately react to something like this.

Hotels much the same. I was due to speak back in 1978 at the Clarendon Court Hotel, Little Venice. Ha ha! Jews are quite funny (without meaning to be) a lot of the time. It’s always “all about them”, in any and all circumstances. People are always saying how wonderfully talented Fry is. I cannot see it, for all his fame, acting career etc. In Jeeves and Wooster, that wonderful adaptation of P.G. Wodehouse, Fry was admittedly very good as Jeeves, but Hugh Laurie was the star, really. In Gosford Park, Fry’s police inspector ruined, in my view, the atmosphere, by importing a kind of cheap comedy into the film. As for his film about Oscar Wilde, it was nowhere as good (or as historically accurate) as the 1960 film starring Peter Finch, The Trials of Oscar Wilde. Fry’s version (if I recall it aright— I have seen it, though long ago) almost completely expunged Wilde’s heterosexual side [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oscar_Wilde#London_life_and_marriage], and said little about Wilde’s life or views outside of Wilde’s obsession with Lord Alfred Douglas and various disreputable youths.
I knew a barrister who met Fry at a wedding, and said that he, the barrister, had been quite shocked at how “left-wing” (a term I myself rarely if ever use) Fry was. Iran’s most deadly missiles may not be capable of interception.
It may be (speculating wildly, so be it) that the Iranians, often though not always noted for their subtlety, have been using their “pawns” (drones and slower missiles) as sacrificial pawns (as in chess), with the idea of exhausting the Israeli supply of ground-to-air defensive missiles. Then, when the Israelis run out of countermeasures such as Iron Dome and Arrow missiles, the Iranians will launch the real stuff…
That occurs to me as I recall the arguably most famous game of the Soviet chess grandmaster Mikhail Tal (a Jew, incidentally), who sacrificed almost every piece he had on the board, even his queen, in order to deliver the final brilliant and inescapable line of moves that led to checkmate (via a minor piece, at that). I think that that game was in 1968 or thereabouts.
