I have only ever met one person who has been to Vorkuta, and his was an involuntary visit that lasted for many years; a Pole sent there as a young man, I think in or about 1940, along with many others. I believe that he somehow survived a decade there, and was eventually repatriated to his family in Bielsko-Biala, south-west Poland. Maybe about 65 when I met him and his family in 1988, he was a bit of a tough guy, and he must indeed have been tough, in more youthful days, to survive for 10 years as a prisoner and slave-labourer in Vorkuta.

Looking at that film (above), I am again struck by the harshness and brutality that humans can inflict on each other, but also by the incredible resilience and ability to create that humans have.

Vorkuta, like other cities in inhospitable areas and harsh climates (Magadan, Norilsk etc) which were wholly a product of the Stalinist period of the Soviet system (Vorkuta did not exist even as a hamlet until the 1930s), had at one time (1960s, 1970s, 1980s) a real city life, with a railway station, buses, an airport, a city theatre, hospitals, cinemas, sports centres, even a symphony orchestra; also, some fairly impressive-looking official buildings.

Vorkuta had, at one time, 115,000 inhabitants. The real population is now thought to be well below 50,000, perhaps as low as 30,000.

My point is that civilization is not a simple continuum. Rudolf Steiner, Valentin Tomberg etc have described human evolution as a staggered spiral. There can be breaks in the spiral. Civilizations or cultures arise, but also decay and disappear. Amazing places can be created and built out of “nothing”, but those same places can fall to pieces and disappear even from memory and/or from recorded history.

The beautiful city of St. Petersburg was created from swamp and forest by the vision, in origo, of one man, Peter the Great, and still exists, now with millions of inhabitants (it is commonly said to be the 4th or even 3rd-largest city in Europe, depending on whether Istanbul is accepted as European). On the other hand, famous Sparta left almost nothing behind it but memories become history. Troy was, for many centuries until its site was rediscovered in the 19thC, thought to be not even legendary but mythical. New York City was created from “nothing”, from the 17thC onward, and still exists, yet the huge cities which once existed in Mexico and Central America and elsewhere have either disappeared or been supplanted (as at Mexico City) by very different successors.

Vorkuta was built on brutality and suffering, but then so was Petersburg…

The world, particularly Europe but also the Middle East, North America, Russia, stands in peril from massive and probably nuclear war. The cities of the West and Centre of Europe also stand in peril from internal strife caused mainly by migration invasion by backward hordes from other parts of the world. Our present overall culture and civilization may not survive the 21st Century, not in their current forms.

We should all be thinking about these matters and about how to salvage as much as possible of our present advanced culture and civilization, should that become necessary.

Looks like I missed out in a big way on my two visits (1993 and 2007) to Moscow! In some ways, at least… Still, they were business trips (mainly).

Having said that, there were huge changes visible in 2007 as compared to 1993, and it seems clear that the changes since 2007 have been at least as great.

Letting existing sick and disabled people continue to receive help, but cutting off help (income) from similar people in the near future, is “morally wrong“, in my view. That is almost unarguable, surely?

The work and pensions secretary’s unspoken reason for sticking to the four-point reform is that without it, and under the OBR-assessed fiscal rules, Reeves would have to fill a £5bn hole in her finances in the autumn’s budget, and not the £2.5bn hole created by Kendall’s partial welfare-reform climb down. That is a big difference when it comes to any taxes Reeves may have to raise or any spending she may have to cut. So a growing number of Labour MPs see this subservience to the OBR and the fiscal rules as just the stupidest motivation for making today’s decisions that affect the lives of the most fragile of UK citizens – decisions that will, on the government’s own calculations, shift 150,000 vulnerable people into poverty. These MPs were bitten once by the OBR dog when Reeves chose to means-test the winter fuel allowance as proof of her fealty to the OBR’s jurisdiction over her own fiscal rules. With the disability reforms, many of them now feel twice shy. They don’t ask why a Labour government respects the OBR, especially after the Truss/Kwarteng fiscal debacle caused by their disrespect for the OBR. But they do question why the Chancellor and Treasury endow the OBR with an almost mystical ability to determine which policies are sensible and why Reeves has seemingly abdicated responsibility for trying to sell the government’s initiatives to the country’s creditors independently of the OBR and fiscal rules straitjacket. So whatever the outcome of the vote tomorrow on the welfare reforms, Reeves and Starmer are now under enormous pressure – probably irresistible pressure – to lose their OBR religion.“]

Not a very good week. I merely equalled the modest score of political journalist John Rentoul— 4/10. I knew only the answers to questions 1, 2, 3, and 7.

I take issue with the quiz-setter on question 10. As far as I know, no European country has forest cover as high as 78%, though Finland has, I believe, about 74%, and Sweden the same or slightly less. John Rentoul claims to have answered that question correctly, though; well, there it is…

The continuing abuse of the UK legal system by the Jew-Zionist troublemakers known as the “Campaign Against Antisemitism” or “CAA”

I happened to see the following tweet put out by the malicious and troublemaking “Campaign Against Antisemitism” or “CAA”, whose chief spokesperson, “Slitherman”, despite having been exposed (by the carelessness of the CAA’s own lawyer, and in open court) some years ago as a serial and sadistic online troller of people, especially women, is often featured on the “no one watches” Talk TV online outlet, GB News, and even Sky News, as well as LBC radio, all msm outlets under the (((usual))) influence, of course:

The right of individuals and organizations to bring private prosecutions, once, in practice, mainly the preserve of bodies such as the RSPCA and RSPB, is now being abused, mainly by tendentious political organizations such as the fake charity, the “CAA”.

The “CAA” is basically a volunteer arm of the Israeli Embassy in London. It has been, for about a decade, conducting both harassment and “lawfare” against individuals and bodies it considers anti-Israel and/or “antisemitic”.

So far, apart from me —not privately-prosecuted, the “CAA” having somehow suborned police and Crown Prosecution Service [“CPS”] personnel in order to have me prosecuted by direct police/CPS action (see blog posts above)— the CAA has harassed such as the famous David Icke, the (half-Jewish) jazz musician Gilad Atzmon, former footballer and TV pundit Gary Lineker, Al Jazeera TV, the BBC and its reporters, and many others, and has in the past privately prosecuted the satirical singer, Alison Chabloz, whose case was then taken over officially by the CPS.

Private prosecutions can be taken over by the CPS either on its own initiative or upon application by either the private prosecutors or the defendant(s). The CPS can then either stop the prosecution, or take it over and continue it officially.

The “CAA” seems to have had plenty of money donated to it, either by wealthy Jews in the UK, or from Israel. Indeed, their latest “lawfare” abuse follows on from their long-running attempt to recruit a competent lawyer as “General Counsel” (they love important titles— “Slitherman” is called “Director of Investigations and Enforcement”…):

The “CAA” usually tries (as in my own free speech trial) to use/abuse the notorious “bad law” of Communications Act 2003, s.127, which was recommended for repeal by the Law Commission, but which (so far) remains on the statute book mainly because Jew-Zionist organizations (principally the “CAA”) made representations, via “friendly” MPs and corrupt members of the House of Lords, to the effect that the provision should not be repealed (during the quite recent passage of the Online Harms Act).

This type of “lawfare” should be prohibited. It is a flagrant abuse of the English legal system.

Incidentally, the “two Israelis” mentioned in the report of the Daily Mail are the two dishonest Jew-Zionist fanatics mentioned in the blog posts above, in fact, that is “Mark Lewis Lawyer” and Mandy Blumenthal (his wife/carer), acting together with Daily Mail scribbler Sabrina Miller to create a contrived “incident”.

It is pretty clear why the abusive and malicious “CAA” cabal is now trying once more to bring private prosecutions. The police and CPS are now, more than heretofore, aware of the CAA’s “lawfare” abuse, and are less and less willing to take the contrived “CAA” complaints at face value. Ergo, with the CPS and even the fairly clueless police unwilling to be used as “CAA” puppets, the “CAA” has had to shift for itself.

Successful defendants to private prosecutions have the right to ask for the costs of their defence, which may be, in some cases, very substantial, by the way.

That made me laugh. Liz Truss is ancient history, politically (in the real Britain outside John Rentoul’s Westminster Bubble). I doubt that many voters care about any similarity between Farage’s economic views and those of already-near-forgotten Liz Truss.

As for whether the (non-existent) “books” or statistics “add up”, the people have had so much of all that nonsense wash over them for 15-20 years that it makes little or no impact.

People want to stamp on both Labour and Conservative parties. They know in their hearts that those System parties have to go, whatever the flaws of Farage and his Reform UK party.

Just a Westminster Bubble club, which has as its main aim (together with personal careerism) amplifying the System message(s)…

It is not a pro-Farage vote, or even pro-Reform vote, as such, but neither is it a “protest vote”. It is a seriously-angry vote against the System parties, their smug freeloading politicians, and about everything now going very very wrong in this country, and against the key cause (of several connected causes)— mass immigration, the trashing of a white European country, and turning that country into a black/brown/Chinese/God-knows-what dystopian mess.

I suppose that the others are either non-Brits anyway, or too young (under 30? under 40? and brainwashed in the schools) to realize what Britain has lost, and what it has become.

The appeal judge in the Rowan Laxton case disbelieved Falter’s sworn testimony, but it could not be proven “beyond reasonable doubt” that Falter and another Jew “witness” for the prosecution at the first-instance trial were lying, so Falter was never prosecuted for perjury.

…or, indeed, my own “case” (see this blog, above). Toby Young, the “Free Speech Union”, Matt Goodwin, Katie Hopkins etc, all the “controlled opposition” dissidents, are effectively in the pocket of (((the usual suspects))). Which is why they are “allowed” to hold public events, fundraise, get money, get onto TV etc.

I missed that tweet from a few days ago. Jews brutalizing Palestinian Arabs in one of their new Jew-Zionist concentration camps in and about Gaza.

Not 100% accurate. I was not imprisoned after my free speech trial ended in conviction in November 2023 (sentence passed in March 2024). I was not even given a suspended sentence. I was given a financial penalty (fine and costs) amounting to about £740, and a “community order” of 15 “rehabilitation days” over 9 months, which in the end was finished (effectively though not officially) after about 5 months, and which basically consisted in my having about 6 or 7 chats (from 20 minutes to over 2 hours in duration, mostly about 30 minutes or so) with a rather charming and polite young lady from the Probation Service.

Something for the Israelis to worry about.

Puppet and mouthpiece of the Jewish/Zionist/Israel lobby, Iain Dale, does not think that the public should be allowed to see or hear the truth on this issue.

The fact is that, proportionate to the population(s), non-whites commit far more crimes than white English/British people.

In fact, even publishing the formal national origins of persons convicted does not and will not tell the whole story, because many of the non-whites committing crimes hold “British” nationality; indeed, many were born here. In quite many cases, those non-whites committing crimes have parents and indeed even grandparents born here, by reason of the mass immigration that has hit Britain in the past 80 years (mostly the past 60 years, indeed the past 30).

I recall how amazed I was, as a belated Bar pupil (trainee barrister) and then junior barrister (early 1990s) to see how high was the proportion of non-whites on trial in the criminal courts of London. That was 33-34 years ago. Imagine now!

If you were to take out the figures relating to “travellers” (Irish tinkers) etc, the proportion of actual English/British defendants would be even smaller, very considerably so,

Security guarantees of the type demanded by Zelensky are practically equivalent to NATO membership anyway, and would be also of the type given by Britain and France to Poland in March 1939. That one made the Second World War almost inevitable. Don’t make the same mistake twice.

Time flies to such an extent that, when I read that book, 14-15 years ago, around 2010 or 2011, I got halfway through before I realized that I had known the author’s mother (though only slightly) in the early 1980s, when I was taking a part-time Russian language course at a language institute near Euston Square in Central London. The language school was part of what is now the University of Westminster. Ludmilla Matthews was one of about 5 teachers I had. I think that her subject was Russian Conversation.

Ludmilla Matthews had something not quite right with one of her feet. She was kind enough to say once that my (in fact quite rudimentary) Russian at the time was “stylish“. Once again, therefore, a minority Reform government, 72 short of an absolute Commons majority, and about 62 short of a working majority.

Late thoughts

This blog punches above its weight. It may only have a relatively small number of regular readers (and far fewer commentators), but it has influenced many many people. It has reached directly about 150 states and territories in the world, and quite possibly all 200 or so indirectly.

I have always taken the view that “one human soul is a big audience“, and that if I can influence one young Alexander, Adolf Hitler, Mahatma Gandhi or, indeed, Moses, then the fact that I do not have a huge audience or a readership of millions becomes irrelevant. As Dietrich Eckart said when nearing the end of his life, “do not mourn me…I shall have influenced history more than any other German“.

I often see used distinctive phrases I myself have used (first) in the past, whether on the blog or from tweets when I still had a Twitter account (a pack of Jews had me expelled from Twitter in 2018, following a concerted campaign or conspiracy which lasted several years, and which continues).

For example, I think I was the first to use the terms “migration invasion” and “migrant invaders”, since echoed by many politicians and others, including even some Prominente from System parties.

If you put a drop of intense ultramarine dye into a pool, pond or lake, after a while, the water goes blue; all the water. My blog has that kind of influence, despite the fact that most of my blog posts have been read by, at most, only a few thousand people (each), even after several years.

It is because my blog has influence far beyond its actual numbers of readers that the Jew-Zionist lobby has made extensive efforts to shut it down over the past 8-9 years since first publication in late 2016.

Well, so far I am still here, and the blog is still being published near-daily, despite malicious complaints by Jews, despite backstairs attempts to procure prosecutions (by Israel puppets such as ex-MP —now “lord”— Ian Austin), despite repeated police interference, despite my having been put on trial in 2023, despite my having been sentenced in 2024, despite everything.

On the macro level, I see things beginning to move my way.

On the numbers there, Labour would have 154 MPs, Cons 58, and LibDems 45. If that were to happen, the Conservative Party would be utterly irrelevant, and likely to decline to near-zero over time.

Not sure whether that likely Con terminal decline would be the best result, or whether the best consequence of such an electoral result would be that Labour would have only 154 MPs instead of 403 (as now). A loss of 249 MPs. 249 upset System drones (plus 63 equally-upset Con ex-MPs; wonderful again…).

In any case, were there ever a real military attack from (presumably) Russia (a conflict with which would be mad from the UK point of view— it would finish this country forever, probably), one of the first places to be attacked and eliminated (possibly by Spetsnaz attack, prior to the launch of any missile) would be Fylingdales itself.

On the wider aspects, while those working in such establishments may be fed the line that they are protecting the UK from attack and/or invasion, the reality is that the UK society those soldiers think they are protecting is decaying from within, and being invaded daily by literally thousands of migrant-invaders, both “legally” and “illegally”, and by births to non-white mothers within the UK.

Another of those 5 tweets was that calling Nicolas Sarkozy a corrupt little Jew. I was partly wrong there (he is only a half-Jew). Sarkozy has of course now been found guilty in a French court of corruption, alongside other Jews.

All my famous or (according to the Jewish lobby) infamous “5 tweets” (posted online between 2010 and 2014) have now been proven to have been true in almost every particular.

Incidentally, in more recent years, the Bar Standards Board wrote to me inviting me to have the disbarment annulled and a “rehearing” take place, mainly because I should never have been tried by a 5-person panel but only by a 3-person panel (which would have had no power to disbar), but I declined, partly because I was already well over 60 and unlikely to resume Bar practice, partly to show my contempt for the Bar (which is now a craven, multikulti dustbin afraid of its own shadow and especially the shadow of the Jewish/Israel lobby).

In other words, had I taken up that suggestion, I should by now have been reinstated as both barrister and —perhaps more useful to me— as a member of Lincoln’s Inn (a pleasant place for a lunch or dinner when in London). Still, I have no regrets, none of importance anyway.

When will “they” have had enough revenge, and enough blood?

Not (yet) quite the view I have been putting on the blog for the past three years, i.e. Russia to take all of Ukraine east of the Dnieper, as well as a wide coastal strip from the Dnieper as far as a point west of Odessa. Kiev and Odessa to be free cities (either autonomous or jointly-controlled). The rest of Ukraine west of the Dnieper to be ruled by a Ukrainian administration based in Lvov.

I think that the above formulation by me would be fair, and could form the basis for a lasting, if not very friendly, peace.

The Kellogg plan is frankly not as good as mine. It involves British and French forces effectively working with those of the Kiev regime on the ground, and has every likelihood of entangling the Western forces in conflict with Russia, directly.

Russia will never accept that plan anyway.

In any case, from the British point of view, why should we be involved at all? Ukraine has only been a supposed state for 34 years, and Britain has no historical connection with Ukraine, nor any national interest in getting directly involved.

The bottom line, though, is that Russia will never accept such a plan.

Incidentally, Matt Goodwin, who seems to support the Jew-Zionist lobby, has never said a word in support of my free speech rights. Neither has Goodwin said anything to support persecuted satirical singer Alison Chabloz, imprisoned for posting songs and cartoons online; Goodwin never said a word on her behalf. Same goes for Jez Turner, imprisoned for making a brief speech in Whitehall (calling for the deportation of Jews from the UK).

It is suspicious that the Sun comic gives Goodwin (and Farage) a mass platform; TV shows do, as well. Would I ever be given such platforms? No.

As you can see, not one mention by Goodwin on his blog of the Jew-Zionist lobby that is the main driver of censorship and repression of free speech in the UK; notably the malicious “Campaign Against Antisemitism” or “CAA”, whose so-called (self-titled) “Director of Investigations and Enforcement” was once exposed in open court, and by the CAA’s own bungling solicitor, as a vicious and perverse social media troll, targeting mainly women, and doing so pseudonymously.

That unpleasant nuisance still holds that (I presume, paid) role, and appears on joke TV stations such as GB News, Talk TV etc, as well as, occasionally, on Sky News. He even turned up to gloat at my free speech trial (which his own persistent backstairs manipulation of the stupid/ignorant police and CPS Wessex had procured), as well as at the later sentencing hearing. Sam Melia of Patriotic Alternative was imprisoned for distributing stickers, the content of which even the prosecution at his trial conceded was lawful.

Support for Melia, Turner, Alison Chabloz —or me— from Goodwin, Toby Young, Katie Hopkins etc? Nil.

The long-term Jew-Zionist attempts to criminalize “holocaust” “denial” (examination of the ever-less-credible stories around the repression of Jews in the mainland Europe of the early 1940s) have become a general strategy to criminalize any and all criticism of Jewish behaviour, or Israeli war crimes etc.

Likewise, we have seen how the plodding UK police, while failing at their proper job most of the time, enthusiastically tried to reinvent themselves as a poundshop KGB or Stasi during the “Covid” panicdemic/scamdemic of 2020-2022. In the immigration system, meanwhile, we learned that 6,000 illegal migrants have now arrived on our shores on small boats in the first three months of this year, 40% up on last year, with crossings happening every day this past week, taking the total since 2018 to 157,000 illegal migrants who are costing struggling British taxpayers upwards of £7 BILLION a year. This isn’t only breaking our laws but is throwing full light on the total incompetence and inability of our politicians and the UK state to control our own borders, keep our own people safe, and maintain our status as a sovereign nation.

My reading of that opinion poll is that the voters are unimpressed by all existing political parties. There is a vacuum at present. Reform UK was leaping ahead; it has now stalled. It too much tries to be “reasonable” and “moderate”.

If voters want “centrist” bs and lies, they can vote LibLabCon. Why would they vote Reform? Reform’s leaders are too much focussed on “small boats” etc. Not that that is not a major issue, but “legal” immigration is 20x “illegal”. Yes, 1,000 or even 2,000 migrant-invaders hit the beaches daily now but, on the same day(s), 20,000 or even 40,000 arrive superficially “legally”.

Also, some of the main figures in and around Reform UK are non-whites. That’s no good, and sends a mixed message.

Either Reform UK goes social-national or it will go the same way as both UKIP and Brexit Party. “Conservatism-plus” is not a vote-winner.

Incidentally, that latest opinion poll translates, via Electoral Calculus, into a Commons with 188 Lab seats, 174 Con, 155 Reform, 68 LibDem (Greens 4, SNP 35 etc). Hopelessly hung Parliament, so maybe a Reform/Con coalition.

Thoughts about Reform UK— where does it go from here?

Reform UK peaked (at least so far) recently at about 28% in the opinion polls; the latest shows Reform around 25%. Not bad, all the same, when the Cons are around 21% and Labour between 25% and 28%. What now, though?

We have been here, more or less, before, with Brexit Party. That deflated for various reasons, not least because voters saw it, not wrongly, as a kind of (real?) Conservative Party. Arguable either way. Farage then stabbed his party in the back so that “Boris”-idiot’s Con Party could “win” the 2019 General Election.

This time around, I think that Farage at least, and maybe the other 4 Reform MPs, want to succeed. After all, they have every chance now that the fake Labour (Friends of Israel) Government is proving even less popular than it was when elected (by the votes of only 4 out of every 20 eligible voters, and out of every 12 actual voters).

At present, we do not have a Labour government, but a Labour Friends of Israel government.

The Conservative Party, equally fake, is still only around 21% in the polls, and few see it as having much chance under the Nigerian woman.

Reform has now hit a reef. Rupert Lowe has been binned, and so will stay on as only an independent MP, unless he either re-enters Reform, defects to the Con Party, or steps down (thus precipitating a by-election).

Reform is a System party in embryonic or fledgling form. Not social-national. However, it has (still) the potential to raise awareness among the people, to shift the “Overton Window”, thus facilitating social national organizations, including political parties, to rise up.

The System would like to revert to the old tweedledum/tweedledee Lab/Con binary (with LibDems as the “alternative” System “dustbin” in the middle). Failing that, to turn Reform into a kind of deeper blue Con Party.

Which way will Reform go?

It has to go for more social-national policies. I see that Matt Goodwin, arguably Reform’s best propagandist (though he may or may not be a member) is now saying that the State should not support the unemployed, sick, disabled etc (so much). This is a rehash of not only the failed and nasty policies of Dunce Duncan Smith, the Jew “lord” Freud etc (2010-2015) but also those being put forward by both Con and Lab at present. Beggar the pensioners, the sick, the disabled, the unemployed, so that money can be thrown at the Jew-Zionist regime in Kiev, or wasted on more useless “defence” spending, or wasted aiding the Jew-Zionist regime in “Israel”/Occupied Palestine.

Reform UK needs to go outside its comfort zone of discontented former Con voters. 8 out of every 20 eligible voters did not vote. Go for their votes.

At present, Reform seems to have a ceiling of 30% support. It needs to nail down some of the truly disenchanted votes. If it can reach 30%, then stretch to 35% by the time of the next general election, it can change British politics forever, and then, if it fades, usher in a truly social-national movement.

Also, the present disunity repels voters. In unity is strength.

If it can weather the storms, Reform can form the next government, but it needs to present an attractive and, above all, powerful image. If it cannot, then the whole thing may just fall to pieces.

Whatever happens with Reform, though, social nationalism is starting to get moving, under the surface of events.

It is the latest in a string of incidents in which police have investigated people for social media posts, including newspaper columnist Allison Pearson, feminist writer Julie Bindel, and former policeman Harry Miller, whose name was added to a database for his ‘non-crime hate incident’. Mr Miller, who founded the Fair Cop campaign group, said of Mrs Jones’s treatment: ‘It flies in the face of our freedoms and it’s wrong. That’s far more akin to a European police force – or even worse a Stasi police force.’

At around 1.30pm last Tuesday, while Mrs Jones was looking after her baby grandson at a nearby house, a detective sergeant and another officer knocked at her door and spoke to her husband Lee, 54, via an intercom.

A shocked Mrs Jones rushed home fearing something tragic had happened to a loved one. At 2.15pm she received a phone call from an officer thought to be the same sergeant who knocked on her door and was told the police had received a complaint about her recent social media posts.

Speaking exclusively to the MoS, she said: ‘[The officer] said, ‘We’ve had a complaint,’ and I immediately asked, ‘From who?’, and he said, ‘Well, I can’t tell you that’.’

She asked if Cllr Sedgwick or his partner had made the complaint. ‘[The officer’s] exact words were ‘Your thought process is correct in that’,’ said Mrs Jones. ‘I asked the police officer, have I committed any sort of crime. Why did you call at my door? They said, ‘Someone has spoken to us about your social media posts.’

‘I then said, ‘If I don’t take your advice and continue doing what I am doing, will I be committing a crime?’ He said no. I then asked. ‘What will you do about it?’ He said, ‘There’s not a lot we can do, we are just giving you advice’.’

I never use “right“, “far right“, “left” etc, but the meaning is fairly clear— Europe is reawakening.

Late thoughts

Saw a few minutes of Sky News Press Preview. Guest? The Jew (I think the name was Rosenberg) who apparently heads the Board of Deputies of British Jews, i.e. the voice of the Jews, or most of them (?), in the UK. Needless to say, pro-Zelensky etc.

Zelensky’s “offer” to resign if he gets what he has been demanding for several years, i.e. Ukraine’s membership of NATO, is of course just a bad joke, a complete nullity.

The fact is that the balance of power in that war, and in Eastern Europe, perhaps all of Europe, has tipped decisively. Zelensky is an irrelevance now, and his Kiev regime is obviously going to implode; either that, or Russian tanks will be in or around Kiev by 2027 at the latest.

Likewise, Starmer, Macron, and whoever now heads Germany, are sidelined.

This may change everything, even in the UK.

An opinion poll that should be perused closely by, inter alia, the police (including Hampshire Police, Gloucestershire Police, and Essex Police), and the “Clown” Prosecution Service, among other bodies.

“Britain’s in decline. Democracy has lost its way. Yes, many would squeal – but it’s no wonder so many of my generation believe it’s time for a dictator: CHARLIE DOWNES offers a provocative view.

Young people in the UK – born, like me, in the 21st century – are constantly told how lucky we are to have ‘freedom’.

To our parents and grandparents, steeped in the baggage of the Second World War, ‘freedom’ is the ultimate democratic right. 

But many in Generation Z can see that our ‘free’ society has degenerated into instability and uncertainty. 

If ‘freedom’ means being unable to afford a home, to live in overcrowded and overpriced rented accommodation, to work soulless jobs in order to pay sky-high taxes, and to have no sense of belonging or identity, perhaps freedom is not what we need.

So it’s no shock to read that a recent survey commissioned by Channel 4 found that 52 per cent of Britons aged 13 to 27 have lost faith in democracy and would welcome a dictator – a strong leader ‘who does not have to bother with parliament and elections’. 

A third of my generation believe ‘the UK would be a better place if the Army was in charge’. 

Other polls have found that many of us are likely to back the death penalty, while a Mail on Sunday survey this week found that two-thirds of us favour castrating sex offenders.

These reports have caused much alarm among liberal commentators – for whom democracy and the social contract are sacrosanct. 

They don’t want to face the brutal truth that the social contract has been ripped up by a political class that has long refused to put the interests of ordinary British people first, or to deliver on our repeatedly expressed wishes at the ballot box – on immigration, crime, tax and much else.

Drug use, shoplifting and defrauding the state go unpunished. Millions of economically burdensome migrants from places and cultures vastly different from our own are invited in, housed and fed at our expense – and we are attacked and slurred as bigots if we complain.

As for democracy, it’s obvious from the visible decline in our country – which worsened after the 2008 financial crash and which has accelerated under Keir Starmer – that it isn’t delivering the right results.

Our supposed parliamentary rule is either an illusion, an anachronism or, if it does exist, clearly not fit for purpose.

After Labour’s landslide win last summer, it rapidly dawned on many of us who had voted for the first time that we were essentially politically impotent.

Britain is crying out for leadership that can steer the country to safety.

Gen Z’s demands are not unreasonable: fairer taxes, affordable homes, cheaper energy and an end to unlimited immigration. 

We ask that everyone contributes their fair share and that crime is properly punished.

We want to trust our neighbours, and talk to them in our own language. We want a sense of identity and belonging.

Which is why, I believe, we now need decisive action: a leader who would declare a state of emergency in response to illegal migration.

Without a strong leader who can reverse deindustrialisation, neoliberal economic policy and mass immigration, our country seems condemned to a future of being riddled with crime, political strife and social unrest.

Yet perhaps, out of this ongoing catastrophe, renewal will come. 

History, after all, has a way of throwing up great men or women when the hour calls for them.

…young people in particular recognise that political leaders of all parties have made an abysmal mess of running things. No wonder so many believe it’s time for a radical alternative.

It sounds drastic – because it is drastic. 

But otherwise we all face the continued rule of grey, miserable politicians with grey, miserable ideas, dragging us towards disaster. 

And Gen Z will not tolerate that much longer.“

Where to start? Firstly, “freedom” and “democracy” are not the same concept or even similar concepts. The linkage, though it exists, is loose.

I examined the idea of democracy some years ago on the blog:

Of course, if people lack shelter, clothing, warmth, food, other needs and/or wants, then “freedom”, let alone the existing form of supposed “democracy”, will not seem of the most pressing importance.

One has to wonder why the Daily Mail is allowing such views, those of this Charlie Downes, to be blasted so explosively on its pages. It seems to me that the main reason is that the Conservative Party is as good as dead among the vast majority of the electorate, and the Labour Party is in a similar condition except that it is still psychologically embedded in the mentality of the voters of much of the North of England and, also, most of the blacks and browns vote Labour en masse, and they are now 20% of the whole electorate, much more in the great cities.

Labour support among white people (the people formerly known as British) is no more than about 10% (at most), in reality. Maybe only 5%.

The Daily Mail’s owners, and others, now look for a party neither socialist nor national socialist/social nationalist but which may capture mass support. Reform UK.

A quasi-dictatorial period may be necessary in the UK, but only if the policies are those I have promulgated on the blog over the past 8 years. Basically social national policies. Anything else is useless and wrongheaded.

This country is just mad now. Also, can you imagine how much this Tuckett person must get, not only in salary but also in generous expenses if he can travel weekly, or more often, from his home in Finland to London? All that might even be acceptable…were he and his office(s) of any use whatsoever.

“The Conservative Party remains in complete denial. It thinks Reform will soon disappear and voters will forget the Tory years of broken promises and national decline. When will the once great party of Churchill and Thatcher wake up and draft a plan to put its house in order? The country still hasn’t been given even the beginnings of an explanation for why the party failed so comprehensively in the painful years of May, Boris, Truss and Sunak. Losing 251 MPs didn’t do the trick. Reform overtaking the Conservative Party in membership and opinion poll strength hasn’t shaken Badenoch or her throwback shadow cabinet. Even an exodus of donors has provoked little signs of life or resolve. The top tier of the party still thinks they’re the natural party of govt and that Labour unpopularity will eventually restore sense to the vast bulk of former Tory voters. Most Tory commentators are going along with this complacency. The lack of urgency and the modesty of Badenoch’s first 100 days really shocks me. I am beginning to contemplate that the party’s decline might be terminal.“
