Even the Western msm are reporting that Russian forces are fast closing-in on Lisichansk, having taken nearby Severodonetsk. Sky News admitted that many civilians in Lisichansk are actually pro-Russian and await the arrival of Russian forces with anticipated relief.
It is only a matter of time before not only the Donbass region but all of Ukrainian territory within the polygon Kharkov-Mariupol-Zaporozhye-Kremenchuk-Kharkov falls to Russian control. Once that happens, the Ukrainians will be unable to prevent a massive Russian advance on a broad front generally northwestward, between the Dnieper and the Russian border.
The Ukrainians have insufficient fuel east of the Dnieper to last long in terms of infantry and armour mobility, and are running out of artillery capability. If Russian forces can occupy everywhere east of the Dnieper, and south of a line Kremenchuk-Kharkov, their approach towards Kiev might be both swift and unstoppable.
This is no accident. It is part of a giant push by transnational conspirators to “reset the global agenda”; aka The Great Reset, combined with The Great Replacement (of European populations by non-Europeans). No prizes for guessing (((which group))) is behind much of it.
The TV ads etc do not “simply reflect society”, as some weasels claim. The UK is, at least officially, still (still?) 85% white, and actual blacks are only about 3% of the population. In England, the figures would be maybe 80% white, and 4% black. Somewhere around there.

A trip to London
I now live in a coastal part of southern England. However, for many years, on and off, I lived in London; from 1976, when I was 19, to 1998. Various neighbourhoods in both South London and near-Central London. Lee/Blackheath, East Dulwich, Tulse Hill (briefly), New Cross (briefly), Holland Park/Shepherd’s Bush (briefly). London was always busy, of course, always fairly full of traffic etc, even in 1976. All the same, it was a functioning city that was also mostly English.
London in 2002 was still recognizably the same city it had been in the 1990s and 1980s, for all the many changes. Now? I think not.
Yesterday, it was necessary for me to travel to and through London. My first visit since I spoke at the London Forum in 2017.
The train journey to Waterloo was all right, bearing in mind that, for the first time in many years, I travelled Standard Class (i.e. Second). £27 one way (a discount ticket, bought online via Trainline). Included my onward journey to Gerrards Cross, Buckinghamshire. Not bad value, anyway.
The train filled up at Southampton, partly with quite a few Chinese. Is that something to do with Boris-idiot’s invitation to the Hong Kong Chinese to settle here? I do not know.
The train was reasonably comfortable, and the cool air-conditioning pleasantly powerful.
Arriving in London, I noticed how the skyline and cityscape has changed even since my last visit, five years ago. More tall residential buildings. I noticed out of the windows the once-prominent but now rather less noticeable bulk of Century House, the one-time SIS/MI6 HQ, now housing expensive apartments.
Exiting the train at Waterloo, I made the fateful mistake of avoiding the Underground for the connection to Marylebone, and opting for a taxi.
What on Earth has happened to London? There were at least two demonstrations impeding the traffic, including one by flag-waving anti-Brexit cretins in Whitehall. Nearby streets were full of literally thousands of Chinese and other tourists. Hundreds of police. Dozens of parked and moving police vehicles. Scruffy-looking uniformed police standing around laughing and joking with each other. Sirens everywhere. Just a dystopian hell.
To make it worse, Edgware Road was also blocked by police for some reason, but my driver managed to get police permission to go another route to the rest of the traffic.
At Marylebone Station, I was in another non-English world. Back in the 1980s, early 1990s, Marylebone was a pleasant, and most of the day seemingly deserted, traditional station. Now, white walls, white flooring, and coffee kiosks selling the stuff at £3 or £4 a pop. Hordes of travellers (most foreign). I heard little English spoken, but just a wave of jabbering in Arabic, various Eastern European tongues, even Hebrew (not that I speak it, but I know how it sounds).
The train to Oxford via (inter alia) Gerrards Cross, my first destination, was a small, three-carriage diesel. Rather pleasant, but too full. Not everyone got a seat. Again, most were not British. Not a bad journey though. Little more than 20 minutes and we were there. What a relief after the crazy chaos that is Central London in 2022.
It does the soul good to experience what is left of the beauty of the real English countryside, though. Later in the afternoon, I was driving through the area of Culham (Oxfordshire). Seems too beautiful an area to have a nuclear research station, but there it is.

As many of my blog readers will be aware, I quite often watch the TV quiz show, The Chase. I do well, I would even say very well, on many or indeed most topics, but fall down on pop/rock music, current “celebrities” and, to a lesser extent, sports.

There is no doubt in my mind that the Bar has become a kind of dustbin now. That is particularly true of what are often regarded as the lower levels of Bar work, meaning the criminal law Bar and the family law Bar.

There is far less intellectual curiosity generally in 2022 as compared to, say, 1962, 1972, or even 1992. It is a societal shift; the world of the student “snowflakes” is just a part of that.
Repression of free speech comes from a number of sources, though the worst is the Jew-Zionist element. Others? The Muslim/Islamist element is one other, though relatively minor except where the speech or other expression directly impinges on the religious sensibilities of the Muslims. For example, this evening, I saw an ad break with a number of ads. Only one, showing a white pensioner enjoying a hearing aid, did not have blacks in it. Some of the others were really ludicrous, such as the ad featuring a black woman as a dairy farmer in England! Are there any such? I do not rule out the remote possibility that one exists somewhere, amid the thousands of white dairy farmers.
Another ad I saw, advertising Cornetto ice-cream, had what seemed to be a basically white family sitting on and around a sofa, with a black man tacked on to one end (like a bookend).

Kremenchuk sits between Dnipro and Kiev, on the river Dnieper. Incidentally, I recently heard of someone’s experience in the North Kent area. Someone had a heart attack at home. His wife, an NHS employee holding a senior nursing rank, called immediately for an ambulance, using the 999 system. The ambulance arrived after one hour.
The above was not in some rural outpost, but in a heavily populated urban and suburban area.
It is clear that the NHS now offers what might be called a skeleton service. My own experience over the past decade (not, mostly, as patient) has led me to characterize the NHS as a “hit or miss” service, sometimes amazingly good, often not terribly good, not always reliable, often not even competent, and often simply ridiculous in its maladministration. As we know, the UK has been cutting defence for years, indeed decades. Large numbers of Army, RAF, and Royal Navy bases are now private housing tracts, and the graphic above makes clear how deep the cuts have been.

Thus it was that Britain relied on French and Italian help to refuel the small RAF forces deployed, mostly bombers. The French Navy also had greater resources to deploy than the British.
In the end, as we know, rebel Libyan forces, semi-barbaric, overthrew Gaddafi, brutally killed him, and instituted a period of chaotic lawlessness which today, 11 years later, still reigns.

What I find risible about Admiral Lord West’s Daily Mail article is that he (perhaps understandably) thinks in terms of fighting a seaborne or other invasion force, as in the days of the Armada, Napoleon, or the wars against Germany in the 20th Century, or conflicts such as that of the Falklands Campaign in which he himself served (the ship he commanded was sunk under him, he being the last to abandon the vessel). Quite a few tweets seen this morning talking about the “suspension” (expulsion?) of the “Andrea Urban Fox” Twitter account. I have seen, in the past, a few tweets from that person (who seems to be tied up with the Jew-Zionists in some way). Not one tweet was of any interest whatever. Just rubbish. Why do so many people post meaningless rubbish on Twitter, and in some cases for hours daily? I can only suppose that it gives them something to do.
I cannot remember now whether Andrea Urban Fox ever tweeted about me. I think that she may have done, critically, and several years ago. No matter, anyway.
Maybe now, if the “suspension” actually turns out to be a permanent expulsion, “Andrea Urban Fox” will find something useful to do with her day(s).

The BBC is out of its time, really. Its output is now certainly not of higher quality than that of its competitors, and as for it being “ad-free”, not so; it advertises itself and its output constantly, and shows government propaganda quite often (as well as in its shows).
The BBC receives excessive funding via the “licence fee” system, a tax by any other word, enforced by bailiff-like enforcement staff. Even today, there are people (often poor single mothers etc) in prison for (following court order) not paying, or being able to pay, that bloody “licence fee”.
Now I read that the best of the BBC TV channels, BBC Four, is going to be axed to save money! The only decent part of the BBC left. It really is time to get rid of the BBC’s “licence fee” funding and make it compete on a level with the other channels (now numbered in the dozens).
I might take a different view, were the BBC on a higher general cultural level, but that is not the case (even on BBC2) now, and has not been so for decades. As said, the best bit of the output, on BBC Four, is going to be axed.
As for BBC Radio— appalling. Radio 4 is almost entirely unlistenable now, while Radio 3 has been greatly dumbed down.

I recall meeting the then very young (maybe about 4-y-o, cannot quite recall) Sasha Yevtushenko, sometime in the early 1980s, when at Bournemouth with my then girlfriend, who was a friend of his mother, the third wife of the poet.
The maternal grandmother of Sasha Yevtushenko lived in some expensive part of Bournemouth, very close to the sea, and had one of those Victorian wooden beach huts in which people change for swimming, which huts now sell, sometimes, for tens or even hundreds of thousands of pounds. That one was on a quasi-private beach.
Despite the hot weather, we were the only people there. It was like a small cove, as I remember. I also remember the almost (?) hyperactive little boy holding the door handle from the outside, shouting out “Nilzya!” (“Not allowed!” in Russian) repeatedly and (for no reason) refusing to allow me to exit the wooden hut. There were small windows in the door. I could see him holding the handle.
What can a polite guest do? One can hardly force open the door and possibly hurt the small child, no matter how peculiar his behaviour. In the end his mother called him.

How can this be acceptable?
