Qatar (which I visited twice, in 2001 and 2008) is more or less a “fake state”. Huge natural gas reserves, unlimited money, but its population is composed of 80% or even 90% temporary expats, and its financial power is not matched by any military power to speak of. Turkey is different, a major regional power and potential or near-world power, with huge and powerful armed forces.

Incidentally, Morgan McSweeney, though Irish and without any obvious Jewish connection, went to Israel when aged about 21 or so:
“[McSweeney] immigrated to London in 1994 aged 17, initially working on building sites and later attempting university, though he dropped out within 12 months.[9][7] He spent several months living in the Saridkibbutz in Israel in the late 1990s.[10]“
There it is again. The Jewish/Israeli/Labour Friends of Israel connection that runs through Starmer-Labour like Brighton Rock. MOSSAD, Aman, Epstein, the “Maxwells”, Mandelson, Peter Kyle, McSweeney (etc).

…and a detailed, much older but frequently updated blog post about the milieu of the now-defunct Jew rapist, sex trafficker, and Israeli agent, Epstein, which very long post goes into, inter alia, Epstein’s (and Ghislaine Maxwell’s) relationship with Israeli Intelligence, including both MOSSAD and Aman (Israeli military intelligence):
The Epstein inner milieu was essentially Jewish, though non-Jews with useful intelligence information, influence or “clout” (such as American future or ex-Presidents) were also invited to travel to “Lolita Island” on the “Lolita Express” private jet(s), and to stay on the island.
Some of the Jews invited by Epstein included Peter Mandelson, the famous Jew-Zionist lawyer Alan Dershowitz [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alan_Dershowitz], and prominent members of the Israeli intelligence apparat.

Or, to put it another way, the invaders have been ferried here. Google “Coudenhove-Kalergi Plan”…
Translates to a Commons with about 445 Reform UK MPs, 71 Lab, 48 LibDem, 41 SNP, 14 Con, 7 Green (etc).
Who would ever have thought it? Not only the Reform upsurge, but a mere 14 Con Party MPs in the Commons, only seven more than the Green Party, and scarcely more than a quarter of the LibDem contingent.
Also, Labour projected to be on 71, having won or retained 412 MPs only just over a year ago, in 2024.
What makes recent polls even more remarkable is that Reform has climbed so high despite most people polled residing little trust in Farage, Reform’s leader (and I dare say that Tice, Reform’s deputy leader, and a total doormat for the Jewish lobby and Israel, would poll even lower, assuming that the public generally are even aware of his existence).
Imagine where an upsurge-party could be if it had a leadership cadre in which the public could reside trust!

It is easy to say that the open-borders Greens are just loonies that have no traction, but those loonies are currently polling at 12% in some polls. That is almost as high as the current polling of the “Conservatives” and the LibDems (both around 15% in some polls; in others the LibDems are on 12%, Cons 15%).
Of course, the Green Party is mainly default voting for some disenchanted former Labour Party voters. They are unlikely to poll, in a general election, as high as 12% (6.39% at GE 2024), but it is disturbing that so many people are willing to accept such rose-tinted socio-political fantasies as having any reality.

“Jeffrey Epstein was a very wealthy man, but exactly how wealthy and where that money came from remains shrouded in mystery.
Newly unearthed emails last week shone light on Epstein’s role as freelance client development officer, acting as a channel between political figures and business titans, greasing up the former with lifestyles they could not afford and the latter with avenues of political influence.
…the questions about the source of Epstein’s wealth have never been fully resolved. He was worth nearly $600m at his death, thanks mostly to two wealthy billionaire clients – Victoria’s Secret founder Les Wexner and, later, Apollo Global Management co-founder Leon Black – as well as Johnson & Johnson heiress Elizabeth “Libet” Johnson, sister of former US ambassador to the UK Woody Johnson.
Between his collection of lavish homes in New York, Palm Beach and Paris, two private Caribbean islands, two jets and helicopter, Epstein held nearly $380m in cash and investments, according to his estate.
That wealth arrived suddenly. According to associates, until the end of the 90s, Epstein was living in a two-bedroom apartment on Manhattan’s Upper East Side close to the river. It was only when Maxwell arrived from London that his lifestyle was dramatically elevated.
Epstein moved to a townhouse on 68th Street and later to a 28,000-sq-ft mansion on 71st Street, later transferred to him by Wexner in 2011.
Steven Hoffenberg, a former business partner of Epstein convicted of running a Ponzi scheme, claimed that Maxwell’s father, disgraced press baron Robert Maxwell, introduced his daughter to Epstein in the late 1980s.“

Translates to about 392 Reform MPs, so a substantial overall majority. Lab 99, LibDems 64, SNP 33, Cons 30 (etc).
I have seen a few tweets noting that, in another recent opinion poll, Reform’s share dipped to about 28% after its recent annual conference, but those tweets are mistaken insofar as they say that the lower Reform UK level therefore shows increased support for Labour or Con. I think not. People are not intending to vote Reform to get a Farage/Reform government; they are intending to vote Reform in order to stamp on and kick Lab and Con.
Look at 2024. Voters voted Labour (or abstained) in order to kick out the Cons and their “great non-white hope”, the little Indian money-juggler, Sunak. Labour thus gained an unmerited large Commons majority even though, out of every 20 eligible voters, a plurality, 8 out of the 20, did not even vote; 4 out of every 20 voted Labour; 3 out of every 20 voted Con; 2-3 out of 20 voted Reform; another 2-3 voted LibDem, and 1 out of 20 voted Green.
The point is that, having binned the fake Conservatives, the voters now want to bin fake Labour. The result of that will be that Reform benefits by default, as Labour did in 2024. The wish of the people, though, is not Reform government, as such. They accept, whether consciously or not, that that will be the inevitable result of binning both main System parties, but their wish is just to have an effective government, and a society which puts Britain and British people first.
It is hard to say what the “ceiling” of Reform, in percentage terms, may be. The opinion polls have had Reform as high as 35%, so far. That may stretch to 40% or higher; we do not know. I certainly think it doubtful that either Con or Lab will get to 35% before the next general election. Lab may or may not get to 30% (I doubt it); the Cons are unlikely to go higher than 25%, or even 20%.
As often said, my hope is that Reform beats Con and Lab, but then fails in government, leaving the field wide open for the advance of a social-national movement that, at present, does not exist in a formal sense.

Well, we know that Mandelson is uninterested in young (or any) women, so what is the connection? It must be the Jewish and Israeli connection. Mandelson is a Jew. Epstein was a Jew (Epstein now, of course, having “gone up the chimney”, but Mandelson not yet).
Mandelson is yet another member of Labour Friends of Israel, along with Starmer-stein and almost all of his Cabinet.
There is a clear Jewish, Zionist or pro-Zionist, and Israeli Intelligence (MOSSAD, Aman etc) aspect to the whole Epstein case. Look at the involvement of the half-Jew, Ghislaine “Maxwell”, whose horrible full-Jew father, “Robert Maxwell”, is believed to have been MOSSAD’s chief agent in Europe, until (very probably) assassinated on MOSSAD or Aman orders. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Military_Intelligence_Directorate_(Israel).
Look at my very detailed, and frequently updated, examination of all such matters around Epstein:
Hodges thinks Starmer-stein’s position is hard to understand. Not when you factor-in Starmer’s slavish pro-Israel position, which is egregious even compared to that of Sunak, Truss, “Boris”-idiot, May, and Cameron-Levita.
Look at Starmer’s Cabinet, at his elevations to the Lords etc. Starmer may actually be a conscious and willing agent, or at least an “agent of influence”, of the Israeli state.
Has everyone in Government gone completely insane. How can they think this is a tenable stance. https://t.co/qlN5oczjdS
Like previous no-good prime ministers, Starmer was the preferred candidate of the Israel lobby. That lobby trashed poor old Corbyn, and (via a Labour Friends of Israel, and pro-Zionist msm, conspiracy) installed Starmer and his Labour Friends of Israel ministers.
Speaking for myself (and as can be verified by my blog posts going back several years), I always saw Starmer as “dull as ditchwater“; also, having been at the Bar myself, I knew that quite mediocre people often get quite high positions in English law, in Starmer’s case as Director of Public Prosecutions (DPP). I therefore thought, until about 3-4 years ago, that Starmer, though dull and also in the pocket of the Israel lobby, would —as a Prime Minister of this country— be at least administratively competent. I was therefore surprised, circa 2022, to see that, in fact, Starmer was so incompetent that I described him that year as “utterly clueless“.
I think, though should not say so, that I was right…

The Second World War broke out on this day 86 years ago, when Britain and France declared war on National Socialist Germany.
The Second World War was disastrous in so many ways. The devastation of much of Europe and Russia (the latter taken as sui generis), the death and overall misery inflicted on millions of people, the advance of Stalinism into Central Europe, the destruction of the German Reich (the only European power almost free of Jewish influence and control). Then there was the economic damage across Europe. Six years of a war economy.
Beyond the above, the Second World War had consequences arguably even more disastrous. The fall of European rule, or slow abandonment of European imperial and quasi-imperial power over most of Africa, much of Asia, parts of Latin America etc. That led in turn to large-scale civil conflicts, regional wars by the newly-independent states (as with India-Pakistan), a huge increase in urbanization, enormous environmental damage, deforestation, extinction of wildlife etc.
Latterly, also the flooding of Europe with “refugees” and economic migrants from across the more backward parts of the world.
It just goes on.
Now, in 2025, 80 years after the end of that disastrous conflict, we see the possibility of a new “world war”. Siren voices in the UK, USA, France etc call for war with Russia, even with China, as well as against smaller states.
There are few “statesmen” around, certainly not in the West, but all political leaders and commentators should think twice and thrice before placing their weight on the scales in favour of war, particularly when the ostensible casus belli is the fake “state” of Kiev-regime Ukraine, a country under the control of a Jew-Zionist cabal which has banned elections indefinitely, banned opposition parties, banned trade unions, arrested or killed dissidents; the army of which is manned by ill-trained troops often abducted on the streets and forced to serve. A brutal, corrupt, and shambolic regime, ruling a “state” which did not even exist 35 years ago.
Of course, “world wars” are a misnomer. Large parts of the world were not directly affected by the Second World War while it was ongoing; the actual destruction was largely confined to parts of Europe, parts of Russia, parts of North Africa, parts of Asia. Vast areas of the world technically “at war” never saw a battle. Even in Europe, there were neutral countries which saw no actual fighting or bombing: Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Sweden.
Today, though, we are in a world overshadowed by nuclear weapons. Still, it may be that, should the worst happen, life will eventually resume. Let us hope so.
In the meantime, let us also hope that the voices calling for war are silenced.

He even removed the need for British firms to advertise jobs in Britain first. I'd take @ZiaYusufUK + Reform any day of the week over that. https://t.co/BSo7agZaxF
That buffoon, Clarke, thinks that “Boris”-idiot is a “leader“. Well, no, he is not. He is just an over-entitled silver-(plated)-spoon psychopath who should have been locked in a box decades ago and kept there.
“Boris” Johnson was puffed to absurdity by a supine Press and TV over two decades and more, largely because he has always been connected to the Jewish lobby and Israel (and is himself part-Jew). The public were told what a great brain he was or is, how educated and informed he is or was, what a “leader” he was or is etc. All lies. Stupid schoolboy ideas at best (bridges over the Irish Sea, an island airport between Kent and Essex etc etc), no ideals at all, no ability to inspire or even administer, no honour, no honesty…just a big nothing. A kind of public entertainer.
“Boris”-idiot never had either the ability or the character to be a prime minister; he also lacked (and lacks) any useful or realistic ideas.
I shall add one thing, that I noticed, and noted on the blog, years ago: “Boris” Johnson is no strong-willed leader; in fact he is no kind of leader at all and, far from imposing his will on people, organizations, countries, events, is and was pushed around by all of those.
As for Clarke, he is a know-nothing who, until selected and elected as an MP in 2017, at age 32, had never really had a job. He lost his seat in 2024 and is now director of one of those Jewish-lobby-connected fake think-tanks, in this case called “Onward”: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simon_Clarke_(politician).
I suppose that Clarke thinks that he can regain his seat at Middlesbrough South and East Cleveland, lost to Labour in 2024 by only 214 votes. That seems unlikely to me, looking at the collapse of support for a —daily less credible— Conservative Party; also, the seemingly irresistible rise of Reform UK (which did not contest that seat in 2024).
The *very first thing* the new leader of the "liberal" Greens in the UK does is publicly endorse the arrest of a comedian for sharing gender critical views. This is where radical "progressive" authoritarianism leads: shut down anybody who disagrees with them. Be warned.
One Zack Polanski, apparently. Are you surprised? I have little doubt that (((Polanski))) also supports the idea of the UK having “holocaust” “denial” heresy laws too, repressive laws similar to those in France, Germany, and elsewhere. So far we have managed to avoid such police-state nonsense, at least as far as examination of history is concerned.
Of course, the Greens in the UK are a joke party, supposedly environmentally-conscious yet supportive of the mass immigration which is trashing the environment.
The Greens are only about 10% in the polls; were Labour under Starmer-stein not such a shambles, the 10% would be about 5%, if that.
In case you’re wondering what is happening in the UK, the Labour prime minister who told Donald Trump “we don’t have a free speech problem” is now criticising police for sending five armed officers to arrest a comedian who shared gender critical views on Twitter/X.
The moneygrubbing, and petty corruption, of this Labour Friends of Israel government were both evident from the start, of course.

Farage is, of course, a bit “Marmite”; people mostly either love or hate him. I should say that my own feeling is closer to dislike than like, Farage being pro-Israel, pro-Jewish lobby etc, and a finance-capitalist to boot. Also, as many say, a “snake-oil salesman”. No argument. However, to destroy the main System parties, there must be a destroying force. Reform is that force.
If Reform makes it into government in 2028/2029, it will be blocked at every turn. It will fail to accomplish most of what it wants to achieve. That situation, in turn, will lead on to real social nationalism. Raise the banners!

In fact, she personifies the change in the demographic, as part of the working class or proletariat became, after the 1970s, the contemporary “chavscum” element (or latter-day British lumpenproletariat), with its grabbing of whatever is going free, its tattoos (even for women), its “vaping”, the underage pregnancies, and so on.
Galloway got his point across clearly without having to resort to the obvious (though true) comment that Angela Rayner and her colleagues are “filling their boots” while they can.
Next stop— the postponed local elections.

Hey, Matt Goodwin! Don’t forget to mention that, in the UK (as in many other countries), it is the Jewish lobby, aka Israel lobby, that is behind almost all of the repression of free speech.
Sadly, Goodwin is very much in the pocket of the Jewish/Israel lobby, just like Farage, Tice, Toby Young, the Free Speech Union etc.

[“Hundreds of lawyers across the UK have been investigated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and Bar Standards Board after they speak out against Israel’s genocide of Palestinians, following demands made by the UK Lawyers for Israel and other Zionist lobby groups. The BSB is now invoking the deeply flawed UK Terrorism Act to prosecute barristers that provide legal analysis of the rights of organisations under international law to armed resistance to the genocidal @IDF, even in circumstances where the police have not taken action. This is a massive expansion of the deeply flawed Terrorism Act, leading the UK to extremely dangerous and authoritarian territory. One such case is Ousman Noor, who worked as a human rights and refugee law barrister and now faces prosecution by the Bar Standards Board after providing legal analysis of the rights of Hezbollah under international law to use military force against the IDF. He has instructed barrister Franck Magennis to defend this case in a way that causes maximum damage to the racist ideology of Zionism and apartheid state of Israel. Zionism, like all past colonial projects, will be defeated on the battlefield. But those of us not on the ground in Palestine can still do our part to damage Zionism and create more space for anti-genocide and anti-apartheid speech. As a matter of fact, years ago I supported (on the blog) that Linehan person, after he was chucked off Twitter (he was later reinstated), despite the fact that he had crowed mightily when I was expelled from Twitter at the instigation of a pack of Jews in 2018.
Still, I have never had a problem with seizing and retaining the “moral high ground”…
Similar to many other recent polls. Reform more than simply “well ahead”; really the only contender at present. Labour abandoned by senior citizens/pensioners, and most white English/British voters generally, and even by “the young” (16-24 age group), who are switching to Green or the LibDems.
Labour is now really just the party of a small tranche of virtue-signalling English/British idiots, some of the better-paid public service workers, and some of the ethnic minorities, mainly the blacks and Pakistanis etc, though Starmer-stein’s Israel puppetry or serfdom has turned off even many of those.
As for the Conservative Party, its voter base is now almost exclusively those better-off pensioners who do not really keep up with events, and have voted Conservative all their lives. Habit voters.
It is not impossible to imagine a Con Party national vote of around 15% at the next general election, which would leave the Cons with as few as a couple of dozen MPs.

French media: France has quietly informed hospitals to prepare for mass casualty scenarios by March 2026, with a capacity of up to 50,000 wounded soldiers. pic.twitter.com/nUBytN2Ith
Well, the French Army (l’armee de terre) has, including all reserves, a strength of 150,000, so if casualties evacuated are to be 50,000, the dead and wounded together might be around (?) 75,000, i.e. half the strength of the entire land army.
Is Macron really intending to get involved in a war with Russia? Does he really think that he can re-introduce conscription in France? If so, how long does he think that he has to get untrained youths battle-ready from scratch?
Actually, if France gets involved in a war with Russia, 50,000 hospital beds will be far from enough— Paris has over 2M people, and might be subjected to attack by nuclear missiles, as might the major strategic military and naval facilities, such as the submarine base at Crozon in Brittany.
A second French Revolution might happen if Macron is doing more than rattling his sabre.

[“The reason Substacks and new media are thriving is because millions of people are utterly sick of the same liberal centrist dross being served up and shoved down our throats —from the BBC to much of the MSM—and then presented as some kind of “insight” when, in reality, it reflects the worldview of a 5-10% elite minority who still think we are living in 1997 and have failed to see that, actually, people don’t want liberalism on steroids. This elite minority is filled with people who went to the same schools, the same universities, who all basically think the same, live in the same postcodes, and are so obsessed with conforming to the Groupthink or their own social status that they never come close to representing or understanding the wider country. The only thing they want to do is maintain a dismal status-quo that was largely built by this elite class to serve the interests of this elite class. You can criticise me, that’s fine, but this is also why we are now one of the largest independent politics newsletters in the West (http://mattgoodwin.org), and why many others are also emerging, because people see through the Blob and they’ve had enough of it. Because they are the ones having to live with the reality of what this elite class has done to the country —an elite class that now also has the gall to say “yes we get your concerns but don’t be too annoyed/we don’t like your tone”. Do you see how utterly deluded large parts to legacy media now look to everybody else? Look for example at the stuff your own paper has been pushing on immigration. It is so obviously biased and disconnected from the mounting pile of evidence that it is embarrassing to read and, even worse, the reason you won’t change your tune is because you view the truth as “low status” and everybody can see it. Do you have one columnist, a single columnist, who genuinely reflects the mood of the average voter right now? Nope. Hence why the Tories are collapsing. Hence why legacy media is haemorrhaging viewers and listeners. Hence why liberal centrists (sorry, “conservatives”) are sitting around, scratching their heads, wondering why nobody is interested in them anymore. Still, the failures of MSM are what is driving the success of new media and the realignment of politics so keep doing what you’re doing …“]

I think that the British people have largely made up their collective mind: Farage and Reform are slightly underwhelming, but are the only game in town to vote for in order to hit out at the System parties that have done so much damage. Everyone now knows that, at every by-election, and every local election, from now until the next general election, and then at that general election, the way to stamp on both Lab and Con is to vote Reform.
The Reform vote at the next general election will probably be between 30% and 45%, and even the 30% level will be enough to sink Starmer-stein and his Labour Friends of Israel regime.

I shall be interested and amused to see the progress, if any, of the new party being set up by Corbyn and the comedic-named Zara Sultana. I am told that about a quarter of Labour members will join, defecting from Starmer-Labour. A quarter of members, maybe, but I apprehend that only about a tenth of Labour voters, if that, will defect at the next general election. At present, official Labour is registering about 20%-28% in the opinion polls. That seems to put Corbyn-Labour on maybe 2% or 3%. I doubt that Corbyn’s new party will attract more than 10% of the entire election vote; maybe 5%. Even 10% may not result in more than one or two MPs. Corbyn himself, and maybe Ms. Sultana, in both of whose constituencies the vote may be more concentrated.

Both sides of the legal profession run scared of the Jew-Zionist lobby, as I found when I was wrongfully and (it later turned out) unlawfully disbarred in 2016:
It is a misuse of the laws permitting proscription of supposedly “terrorist” organizations to label ordinary protesters “terrorist“. In fact, it makes a mockery of the whole thing.
This is what happens when (as with the present pathetic Labour Friends of Israel “government” of utter clowns), politicians act as puppets for the Jewish/Israel lobby.

Interesting. I knew that barrister and (sacked) part-time judge, Simon Myerson (of Leeds and Manchester) had been a witness in the case, and that the trial judge disbelieved his evidence (or discounted it as having been worthless) but had no idea that he was one of what looks now like a conspiratorial gaggle of Jews who apparently were “advising” the three losing defendants.
Just to be clear about what is frightening me.

…and that is why I am hoping that Reform do well in the next few years; because when they form a government, and it fails because (it will be) too pro-Jewish lobby, too pro-Israel, and not nearly radical or social-national enough, then a real social-national movement can arise and, the “Overton Window” having shifted, take the people with it.

Much of a muchness with other recent polls. Reform with 375-400 MPs and a large Commons majority, Labour with about 122 MPs, and the Con Party left utterly irrelevant with about 27 MPs, making it only the 4th, possibly 5th-largest, party (after Reform, Lab, LibDems, and possibly the SNP).

I hold out little hope for Corbyn’s “real Labour” party. I should place its appeal somewhere in the 5%-10% area, and I doubt that it will be able to contest more than a hundred seats. However, in a few of those seats, it might have enough of a concentration of votes to win; in some others, it will split the vote to enough of an extent to topple existing Labour MPs, mostly to the benefit of Reform UK.

[“Within 48 hours, Jerusalem is expected to make a critical decision: if Hamxs refuses to release the hostages, Israel may move to formally annex parts of Gaza. Unlike military withdrawals, which can be executed at any time, annexation is a near-permanent step. Under Israeli law, reversing annexation isn’t simple, it requires either a supermajority of 80 Knesset members or a national referendum. In other words, once annexed, the land doesn’t come back without a political war.”]
So Lebensraum for American and Israeli Jew settlers, basically, and the Palestinian Arab population “deported to the East” (somewhere), into Israeli Jew-constructed and Israeli Jew-guarded concentration camps which, given that the Israelis are starving the Arab population, refusing to supply medical attention to them, and just killing them outright by shooting them, would amount to “killing camps” or —would the appropriate term be?— “extermination camps”…
I wonder whether the Israeli population as a whole, or the Israeli political milieu and military/security apparat have thought much about what might happen down the line if/when Israel eventually gets defeated on the battlefield? Something akin to what happened in southern Israel in late 2023 but on a vastly bigger scale. When people are treated the way the (Israeli) Jews have treated those, the Arabs, who, pre-1948, owned most of Palestine, their revenge will be bloody indeed.

Israeli media: "- Significant increase in the number of Israeli soldiers with mental health crises in recent months. – More than 10 thousand Israeli soldiers are receiving treatment for mental health crises." pic.twitter.com/NzFKlm4i6I
The karmic consequences devolving upon Israel, the Israeli Jews, and their supporters overseas, will be crushingly heavy.
The Times cartoon is a perfect symbol of how the elite class view the rest of the country
If you protest unvetted migration, if you protest broken borders, if you protest the sexual abuse of our children by migrants, you are lumped in with far-right extremism
Islamic and Jewish traditions, laws etc, cannot be tolerated in Europe except as niche eccentricities among small minority populations. Once those populations become large, and once those traditions and “laws” start to interfere with the country as a whole and/or its general or universal laws, the said traditions and laws have to be subordinated to the general law of (in this case) England and the UK.
I have never claimed a long culinary repertoire; indeed, before I married for the first time, I lived almost entirely on cold food (whatever the season), or fed while outside my residence(s), though I did occasionally cook buckwheat kasha (quite nice if boiled then fried), scrambled eggs and, from time to time, vegetable curry.
Two marriages etc have, perhaps counter-intuitively, led me to pick up a few other recipes, such as fish pie. Today, though, I embark on something new, formerly had only at other people’s houses (often in gardens) in summer— okroshka.
Sometimes, okroshka has ham in it, but I do not eat meat, and I think that (as with Russian or “Olivier” Salad), ham or other meat is an unnecessary extra anyway.
I doubt that mine will match examples had elsewhere, prepared by foodie people, and I lack kvass (a drink made from fermented rye bread), a usual ingredient, but I expect it will be good enough.
On this hot day, I have also been thinking about something else, namely the fact that the Starmer-stein Labour Friends of Israel government has lost control of this country in every way.
Migration-invasion continuing at an even greater rate, with an average of about 1,000 a day now crossing illegally, and a further 5,000+ coming in “legally”, as (or posing as) “dependent family”, “spouses”, “fiances”, “tourists”, “high-skilled workers” (Indians able to work a computer, medical staff etc), “students” (few ever return home), and so on.
We also have an “invasion by births”, births of non-Europeans, whether born in the UK or not.
Court system on its knees, street crime ubiquitous (in the London area). The latest wheeze is to release “some” (presumably, non-political) prisoners after they have served 20% of their headline sentence, so someone sentenced to a year will only do about 10 weeks, and a 3-month sentence will presumably be, in reality, 2-3 weeks .
If there were no non-Europeans in this country, or only small numbers, the prison population would not be about 120,000 but nearer to 20,000. In fact, if the Irish “tinker”/”traveller” element, and the Roma Gypsy element, were also both removed, the number of prisoners would fall to about 10,000.
The court system has backlogs which are getting worse. I noticed that Professor/Dr David Miller, now being privately prosecuted in the magistrates’ court by the malicious Jew-Zionist org “Campaign Against Antisemitism” or “CAA”, had his first appearance a few days ago. Trial is set for December!
In the Crown Courts, many cases starting their process now, have trial dates, in some instances, set as far ahead as 2029!
The streets, especially in London, are becoming an urban jungle.
This government has pretty much lost control. Ironic, really, because there has not been a UK government so full of control freaks since the days of Tony Blair.
Incidentally, another cold soup I like is vichyssoise. Maybe tomorrow or the next day.
Foreign Affairs magazine notes an unexpected trend: contrary to expectations, the aggressive policies of the United States and Israel have not weakened Iran, but on the contrary, have strengthened the country from within.

[“Opposition politician slams Macron for selling out French nuclear independence to US “[Emmanuel] Macron is pushing to put our nuclear deterrent in the hands of NATO and the United States!” French Patriots party leader Florian Philippot blasted on X, slamming the president’s decision to sync nuclear policies with London. According to one of Macron’s loudest critics, British nuclear strategy is already fully integrated into NATO and coordinated with the US. “This man is methodically working against ALL aspects of our national independence. He must be removed as soon as possible!” insisted Philippot.“]
Macron is a Jewish-lobby, Israel-lobby, NWO/ZOG puppet.
The Gaullist force de frappe was the right idea— enough to deter hostile attack during the Cold War, but independent of the USA, and also not likely to cause a nuclear war. Defensive.
“I don’t know what Jake thinks he’s gone to, but it certainly isn’t a different flavour of the Conservative Party.”
I almost (but not quite) feel sorry for Penny Mordaunt. After a non-“silver spoon” childhood and youth, and some years in public relations, she became an MP at 37 (in 2010), a minister in 2015, and a Cabinet minister by 2017. By 2022, she was regarded as a potential Conservative Party leader and so, at the time, Prime Minister.
Now, Penny Mordaunt apparently makes an income as part-time “consultant” to British-American Tobacco, though it is hard to see what value, if any, she might bring to such a role.
Penny Mordaunt (whom, as a politician, I do not entirely dislike) is now politically irrelevant, and still seems to regard the Conservative Party as the main show in town, whereas in reality the Con Party is on its last legs. The polling says it all: Starmer-Labour is a dead party walking, in much of the country, but that does not mean that the Conservative Party will bounce back as in the past. Look at the opinion polling. The Con Party is on 16%, 17%, somewhere around there, with no sign of increasing its support.
Politically, and at only 52, Penny Mordaunt is finished, in my opinion. She has no Commons seat, and is unlikely to win back her former seat (though I concede that that might just be possible in a 3-way Labour-Reform-Con contest in —?— 2029 at Portsmouth North). I doubt that she would join Reform under any circumstances (and, to give her her due, I think that she is driven, partly, by principle as well as by expediency— but after her near-win in 2024, she would surely be “nailed on” if standing again but under the Reform banner).
Penny Mordaunt looks defeated on that video.
“Many are called but few are chosen” applies to politics as much as other things.
