BREAKING: U.S. draft peace proposal to end Ukraine war calls for ceding land to Russia and limiting the size of Ukraine's military. https://t.co/GU4Y4v8bt7
At last. Not perfect (Russia should control all Eastern Ukraine, that is Ukraine east of the Dnieper, as well as the Black Sea littoral and, of course, Crimea), but anyway peace…so long as the Kiev regime agrees. I doubt that it will. So cut off all military and financial aid; only provide directly and purely humanitarian aid to the people of Ukraine.
Moscow has not yet received any information about Vladimir Zelensky’s agreement to negotiate based on the peace plan proposed by Donald Trump, Dmitry Peskov told journalist Alexander Yunashev:https://t.co/TIjrmcJufdpic.twitter.com/J8kKhUYdLZ

[“Iran declares it is now more ready than ever to deter an Israeli attack Iran’s Foreign Minister Abbas Araghchi stated that Tehran is now “even more prepared” to repel any Israeli aggression, citing significant advances in missile capabilities since the 12-day war earlier this year. In an interview with The Economist, he said that the improved quantity, quality, and deployment of Iran’s missiles have strengthened deterrence, asserting that readiness is the best way to prevent a new conflict. Araghchi also noted expanded cooperation with Russia following Moscow’s support during the war, describing their relationship as a developing “strategic partnership.” Regarding nuclear talks, Araghchi insisted that Iran is open to a “fair and balanced” agreement but rejected U.S. pressure, emphasizing that uranium enrichment is non-negotiable despite Iran’s pledge not to possess nuclear weapons. He said enrichment was paused due to recent U.S. attacks, but Tehran remains ready for negotiations, “but not to accept diktat.”]

I cannot recall any other people in modern times so brutally attacked, dispossessed, intimidated, bullied, and subjected to sadistic practices, as the Palestinian Arabs of Gaza, certainly not over such a long time (77 years on one reading, but even on the most restricted reading 2 years). The Israeli Jews and their facilitators are the guilty ones.
Many British men are not in work or education
Pollsters More In Common asked disillusioned men what they think
They said:
the social contract is broken, hard work doesn't pay off, politicians care more about women than men, and multiculturalism threatens their identity
[“NEW. 73% of British men feel in some way disillusioned I don’t think millions of men in Britain only feel disillusioned because of the economy or housing I think they are fed up of watching “leaders” and companies prioritise immigrants over British men Fed up of existing at the bottom of a moral hierarchy that puts straight white men at the very bottom Fed up of living in a culture and politics that openly celebrates their demographic demise Fed up of being written out of the national story, or only ever presented as problematic, suspicious, evil Fed up of watching British women and girls being raped assaulted and then called “far right” if they protest I think it all adds up to a feeling of dispossession –a sense among men that something is being taken from them and yet they were never even asked I mean, if you ever wanted to create a culture that actively alienates men it would look a lot like the one we are currently cultivating in Britain …”]
"Allowing money to corrupt your moral compass constitutes a grave betrayal of the trust vested in you by the electorate"
Ex-leader of Reform UK in Wales Nathan Gill sentenced for taking bribes as part of a pro-Russia influence campaign
When will the Israel-lobby MPs and fake “peers” go the same way? Only when this country has a proper government.
That aside, the sentence seems extraordinarily harsh.
10.5 years as headline sentence means that he might spend over 5 years in prison, though he might also get released earlier than that on licence; but he must, realistically, be looking at at least 3-4 years actually inside, unless he can appeal successfully on sentence.
Starmer-stein only took a couple of months to be comprehensively exposed to the general public as useless, but he seems (and “the chosen” backing him in a Labour Friends of Israel government seem) to want to cling on to power for as long as possible.
Of course, apart from the major point— that Starmer, along with “Rachel from Accounts” Reeves, “ape in a silk suit” Lammy, and “refugees welcome” would-be dictator Yvette Cooper (and others, such as Angela Rayner, who wants to be Britain’s first “chavscum” Prime Minister) are a bunch of utter clowns, completely hopeless, there is also the looming cloud of upcoming prosecutions of former or sitting Labour MPs in relation to underage sex with boys, to which might be conflated the alleged “Ukrainian rent boys” possible scandal involving Starmer-stein himself (and few know the truth about all that— certainly I myself do not, but there seems to be a news blackout about it all).
It looks as if the continuing Reform surge in the opinion polls is causing both main System parties to examine whether they have total deadheads at the top (they do).
It may be that both Starmer-stein and Kemi Badenoch will be ousted.
The opinion polls continue to show the former “three main parties” –LibLabCon— at a combined total of around 40%-50% (10%-20% each), while Reform sits variously between 27% and 36%, with the joke Green Party now on a similar level to Lab and Con, and well ahead of the LibDem dustbin-alternative party.
The fact is that, whatever scandals may hit Reform, the polling might not much change, and for one simple reason: people are intending to vote Reform not because they love or much respect Farage and/or his party, but because they do not want LibLabCon, and in fact want to stamp on them. Also, because the UK is sliding to a very desperate situation, and people are now finally starting to wake up to that.
Tracking our *negative* voting intention (who would Britons vote AGAINST):
Surely indicating also that the LibDems and Conservatives are now seen as largely irrelevant by most voters. Greens? Have always been irrelevant, though that will change if —as per recent polling— the Green Party can secure over 20 seats in (?) 2028 or 2029.
Incidentally, it looks to me as if Corbyn’s “Your Party” is going nowhere. It may still get a seat or two (Corbyn himself may be nailed on) but many of its potential voters will go elsewhere, the white ones to the Greens, amusingly enough, and the Muslims to some specifically Muslim party or to Galloway’s “Workers’ Party”, if it has a candidate in any particular constituency.

The U.S. Department of State is now saying out loud what millions of ordinary people know to be true but elites refuse to accept: "mass immigration poses an existential threat to Western civilization".
Join me at 8pm tonight @GBNews to discuss this and much more
All that matters, bottom line, is that a sufficient pool of post-Aryan Europeans survive and procreate, in order to establish, over time, an advanced people which can, over yet more time, be the foundation for a quantum leap in human evolution— a super-race endowed with abilities far beyond what we today call human.
I happened to drop by my local supermarket, a Waitrose outlet. I bought a few basic items (bread, coffee, water, tomato, banana, paw-paw etc) and then went to buy some Euromillions lottery tickets. The draw tomorrow has a high-value prize, £132M, so I decided to buy 20 tickets. The elderly woman cashier told me that the machine told her that she was “not allowed” to sell so many to one person! A mere 20 tickets (£50 worth)!
I told her that I had had as many or more in the past. Oh, no, this is a “new rule”, I was told. A supervisor was called. She commiserated with me but explained that the new National Lottery company (a Czech thing called Allwyn) had just brought in this rule to “protect” people. I presume she meant “problem” gamblers.
£50! I recall that, in the 1980s, some City of London barrow-boy trader whose name escapes me (Terry-something) gambled £500,000 each-way on his own horse running in the Grand National. Equivalent to at least £2M each-way, i.e. £4M altogether, in today’s money.
Incidentally, though that horse lost, coming in fourth, Terry-something’s bet did not lose, because an each-way bet in a race with so many runners covers the winning horse (win and place) and the three placed horses behind the winner. In other words, Terry-something lost his £500,000 win bet but won on his £500,000 place bet, which paid out either a quarter or a fifth of the odds. His horse was at a fairly high price, so Terry-something collected enough to go away with a profit of about a million.
Anyway, returning to Waitrose and the lottery tickets, I was “allowed” (!) to buy 10 Euromillions tickets. When I mentioned the nonsense of it all to another cashier, on paying for my groceries, she also commiserated but added, “I suppose it is because we have to be mindful…some people lose their houses and so on…“, to which I retorted that people have to grow up and bite the bullet, not be monitored and controlled by nanny-state rules.
Jesus H. Christ! This country is going mad (as I expostulated during the above-described events), and is becoming just impossible.
The stupid thing is that the nanny-state restriction is on tickets bought per transaction, so there would have been nothing to stop me going round the store, returning to the kiosk, then buying more tickets! Or, indeed, going to another store and buying there.
So typical of the UK today. A stupid box-ticking rule, brought in by some drone with (probably) a ridiculous job title such as (my guess) “community engagement nobody”, which rule accomplishes nothing, not even on its own totally fake “caring sharing” bs basis, and which just inconveniences people and takes even more joy and hope out of life in Britain.
Of course, the “Covid” panicdemic/scamdemic accelerated all of this fake communitarian bs, and was designed to do that.
The idiots are still trying to interest the public in a war with Russia. Roll up! Roll up! Roll up to have your family killed and your home town (and every town) destroyed by nuclear attack!
Those corrupt and/or stupid MPs seem to be unaware that the real invasion started some time ago, is continuing, and involves the influx of a million non-whites every single year, thus ruining the UK economically, culturally, socially, and causing shortages and/or price increases in housing, food, water supply, NHS provision etc.
As for China, not only is China vast, with a huge population dwarfing that of the UK (and with commensurate military and naval resources) but it poses no direct threat at all to the UK.
There is no direct Chinese military or espionage threat to the UK at all. What terribly important secrets is the declining, decadent UK supposed to have that China might want to know? Which Labour MPs have been involved with young girls or little boys? What have Eastern European rent boys have been doing with Starmer-stein?
What China is doing (not only in the UK) is exporting people. Taking over societies such as the UK by the sheer numbers of “legally-admitted” immigrants, businesspeople etc. Gradual and peaceful takeover.
“To win without war is the supreme excellence” [Sun Tzu].
The irony is that the MPs most agitated about both Russia and China are those most compromised by the actively spying Jew-Zionist and Israel lobby. Iain Dunce Duncan Smith, that disgusting individual, to name just one.
On the other hand, anyone who spends much time watching the Parliament channel also knows that the government benches are jam packed with insubstantial people. They don't make an impact or meaningful contribution as a result.
Ha ha! I am very much looking forward to most of those stupid little Labour MPs (Con MPs too) losing their seats (and then, I hope, suffering).

“Net”. Meaning that, every year, in recent years, about 1.5M non-white migrants have entered the UK, about 100,000 have left, and about 250,000 (real) Brits also left, fleeing this country.

The UK level now is about 8%. In England, about 9% or even 10%. In many towns and cities, far higher. Once the level gets to 20%, 30% etc in any particular city, town, or region, you will have either an attempted takeover, an actual takeover, or a civil war of some kind.
As a matter of fact, that is already happening, though —so far— only in certain areas of the country.

As previously examined on the blog, Morgan McSweeney, though not a Jew, is pretty obviously, and at the very least, an Israeli agent of influence (use the search box to see more), and the Starmer-stein “Labour” government of utter clowns is better described as a Labour Friends of Israel government. Almost all of them belong to Labour Friends of Israel.

The System talking heads and scribblers have still not woken up to the fact that Labour now has no “natural supporters” except some of the blacks and browns, some of the public service employees (teachers, NHS staff, local council staff), and a fairly small number of middleaged and elderly people who think they are living in 1975, not 2025.
Look at the opinion polls. The Labour vote at present seems to be 15%-20%, i.e. about the same proportion as non-whites in the UK.

First, it’s easy to be wise after the event. At the time nobody was quite sure what was happening. Second, that figure depends on modelling. And by now we should all have learned to be extremely sceptical of modelling.“]
The msm is still trying to push the line that “Covid” was some kind of massive international existential threat to humanity. In fact, a rather small “blip” virus was weaponized in order to serve the WEF/Davos/globalist agenda, and the propaganda was mostly prepared in advance— well in advance, in fact.
The motive seems to be to have the quasi-dictatorial measures rolled out again as and when required by the System, and as conditioning for a possible defence scam which might posit Russia, China, or both, as an immediate threat “requiring” a kind of martial law of sorts, as with the Covid scamdemic/panicdemic, but more intense yet.
As for “Boris”-idiot, I was exposing his nonsense (and sheer lack of ability) on Twitter years before this blog was even established (in 2016). However, his supposed defaults re. “lockdown” are scarcely worth talking about, because “lockdown” badly and perhaps irreparably damaged this country’s economy and society, and was entirely unnecessary, in reality.
As for “Panic-spreader General” Professor Ferguson, and the Michie woman, some societies would have them in prison, or up against a wall; some of the “vaccine” scientists and producers as well.

Even when I would drive to Plymouth to appear at the Plymouth County Court (between 2002 and 2007), the city was not a place where I would linger once my work there was done. From late 2005 to 2008, I also took the ferry between Plymouth and Roscoff (Brittany) every week or two, because I lived half the time on the French side. I did not visit the city itself much before evening embarkation, though I would sometimes get a fish and chips in the city beforehand.

Bombshell stats show what's REALLY happening in the UK
More and more immigrants are flooding into the UK from radically different cultures outside Europe while record numbers of Brits are leaving their own country
When I was subjected to my free speech trial (in late 2023, and at the instigation of the malicious pack of Jew-Zionists called “Campaign Against Antisemitism” or “CAA”), the rather poor Counsel instructed by the Crown Prosecution Service (some youngish fellow called Phillip Allman) put to me, as part of his brief (and, frankly, unskilled) cross-examination, that the Coudenhove-Kalergi Plan was a “conspiracy theory“. I retorted that it was not, and that all he had to do was look around him to see that. Collapse of not very stout cross-examination…
You only have to look around you to see the flooding of the UK, especially England, especially the English cities, by the migration invasion.

[“OUR FREE-SPEECH DOCUMENTARY HAS BEEN CANCELLED THE RICH MIX CINEMA HAS BANNED OUR PREMIERE, BECAUSE OUR FILM DOES NOT ALIGN WITH ITS ‘VALUES’.
You would think that banning a documentary about free speech would be a bad look for a cultural institution. But that’s precisely what Rich Mix in east London has just done.
We were all set to hold the premiere of our documentary, Think Before You Post, about the rise of the British speech police, at Rich Mix on Tuesday 25 November. But last night, we received an email saying the venue would be ‘terminating [our] booking contract’. ‘Since confirming your booking, it has come to light that the content and speakers featured do not align with our values and mission here at Rich Mix’, reads the email. ‘Our founding objectives are to support marginalised communities (primarily communities facing racial inequity), promote intercultural understanding, eliminate racial discrimination, and foster equality of opportunity through arts and culture.’
Those of you who have watched the documentary might be wondering what this is getting at. After all, the film is about the people who have been arrested, prosecuted and even held on remand for alleged speechcrime – even though they hadn’t said anything the least bit hateful.
Rich Mix claims that the ‘nature of the event was not fully disclosed to us upon booking’. This is despite the fact the documentary was already available to watch online when we snagged the slot. And all of the speakers who were due to take part in the post-screening Q&A were in the film itself.
I wish I could say I was surprised. The cultural sector is overrun with woke scolds who wouldn’t know what free speech is if it bit them on the backside. The gentleman who emailed us about the cancellation naturally had his pronouns in his email signature, too.
This isn’t even the first time our documentary about censorship has been censored. On X, it has been slapped with age restrictions, despite having no age-inappropriate content in it, thanks to the illiberal Online Safety Act.
I suppose we should be happy to have been proven right. But vindication is cold comfort when it comes at the cost of a great evening of screening the film and discussing it with our contributors, friends and – most importantly – supporters.
If you have bought tickets, please bear with us. We are working flat-out to find a new venue for the same night. But if we fail to do so, we will of course refund everyone in full, and postpone for a later date. (If you’d like a refund now anyway, just get in touch and we’ll process it.)
In any case, we are determined not to be silenced. Clearly, the core message of Think Before You Post – for free speech and against censorship – is more important than ever. Even if it doesn’t jive with the sacred ‘values’ of Rich Mix.“]
📢Some personal news: I have taken the difficult decision today to resign from the Conservative Party after 30 years. I have joined @reformparty_uk and will be assisting as Chief Advisor on Global Affairs. Britain needs change. And only Reform can deliver what is required.
So more Jewish/Zionist influence at the heart of Reform UK…
That one is a co-founder, and executive director, of the NWO/ZOG pressure group, the Henry Jackson Society.
For me, Reform is good for one thing only— to smash the long-running System “two main parties” scam. Once that happens, it can fall away and burn, like the booster rockets at space launches.
yes and to say nothing of the "brand damage" for all the very smart politics commentators who spent a full year telling us all how assuredly brilliant starmer and his team were going to be
I wrote on the blog, about 3-4 years ago, that Keir Starmer, “slightly to my surprise“, was turning out to be “utterly clueless“. Was I right or wrong? I think, right…
That msm talking head, Goodall, though, should take into account the sea-change in UK society over the past half-century. I have discussed this on the blog a number of times over the years.
The “industrial proletariat” no longer exists except in small scattered places, like an endangered species. What does exist is the Welfare State’s version of a modern lumpenproletariat, whether white “chavscum” or the equally cultureless, value-less, and raceless, black/brown hordes.
Then we have the associated but slightly different “precariat” of people sometimes employed, sometimes self-employed, sometimes unemployed. People without much job security or life security. Very widespread. Regular readers of the blog may have seen a few of my own experiences in that regard.
What does misnamed (now) “Labour” have to say to all of those? Not much, certainly not since 1989, and even less since Starmer-stein, Rachel Reeves, and Yvette Cooper took over..
Those demographic elements also suggest considerable political volatility.
Starmer-Labour is a nullity. Stands for nothing. Achieves nothing. Its MPs are little nothings. Starmer-stein himself is spiritually empty, a political and personal nothing, in the pocket of the Israel lobby, and motivated only by careerism and money-grasping.
I’ve been getting a lot of messages recently from people thanking me for speaking up about everything going on.

[“I’ve been getting a lot of messages recently from people thanking me for speaking up about everything going on. I never spoke up to get money, notoriety or a career from this. I was just absolutely sick to death with what our country has become and the South West of England in particular. I was in a far better position than most to speak out too as I didn’t have much to financially lose in doing so and no children who would be affected if that was to happen. But getting these messages has been nice and especially when I’m having a bad day and questioning if I should have done this face out in the first place. I don’t regret my decision overall, I think my message has spread far more being face out, but it has become quite isolating at times due to a lot of people in my personal life still under the Marxism spell. Things are definitely changing though. My brother went to this school in the 70s, me in the 80s. Awesome school. My son went through it late 2010s. Of the ~120 students in his grade he was the only white kid. 95% south Asian. The principal would be on SBS banging on about how much diversity there was in the school.
Not at all like the Sydney (Mosman and Cremorne) I recall from my years aged 10-13 (1967/1968/1969). The schools I attended (Middle Harbour P.S. and North Sydney Boys’ High) had no ethnic minorities (except one Aboriginal girl at Middle Harbour, sent there as part of a government programme).

The big exception to the BBC “no ads” policy is…the BBC itself. It promotes itself (and/with its favoured agendas) constantly.

As for that useless Nigerian, “Femi”, the bastard was born here to Nigerian parents who are both medics, and has managed to get to age 35 without ever having to do a job, acquire a profession, or anything else, save reading for a “soft” degree in French and Law sometime around 2010, and doing some EU-funded anti-Brexit campaigning about a decade ago. He seems to live off his parents’ affluence, the odd donation, and occasional “token black” appearances on TV discussion shows.
I suppose he gets a bit from Twitter/X now that Elon Musk has instituted some kind of pay for click regime (I believe). “Femi” has, incredibly, nearly 388,000 Twitter/X followers, despite being both useless and entirely ignorant.

I have come to dislike the BBC in recent years but (needless to say) not because of alleged anti-Israel bias. The BBC still broadcasts WW2 anti-German “holocaust” propaganda, so can hardly be said to be “antisemitic” (I wish it were). No, the BBC has biases (eg support for a fake “multicultural” society), but not an anti-Jew bias. For God’s sake, half of its staff and entertainers seem to be Jews!
The Jewish-created “holocaust”/quasi-genocide in Gaza has been reported upon, showing the suffering of the Gazans, and that is the only reason Israel and the more fanatical type of UK-resident Jew hate the BBC.

The main System parties are despised, so voters look for an (any) alternative, usually Reform, but sometimes Green or elsewhere. In such a poisoned arena, the Greens may actually become a significant bloc in Parliament, maybe 10, 15, 20, or even 30 MPs.

[“The Book Boat Women of the Mississippi 1904 In 1904, when river towns along the Mississippi had little access to schools or libraries, a small group of women brought knowledge to the water. They were known as the Book Boat Women educators, widows, and dreamers who turned old barges into floating libraries that drifted from town to town, delivering books, newspapers, and hope to riverside families. One of them, Eleanor Finch, a former schoolteacher from Iowa, spent her savings on a decommissioned cargo barge. She and two friends painted it white, filled it with donated books, and christened it The Knowledge Belle. They loaded it with shelves, kerosene lamps, and a hand-cranked printing press that produced small pamphlets of local poetry and news. As the Book Boat drifted downstream, children would run to the shore, shouting, “The library’s here!” Farmers traded apples, quilts, or cornmeal for borrowed books. In a time when literacy was rare in rural America, the women taught reading lessons right on deck often by lantern light as river fog curled around the hull. During one harsh winter, when the river froze, Eleanor refused to stop. She walked miles across icy banks carrying sacks of books on her back, ensuring no child missed their reading. “The river”, she said, “only sleeps. The stories do not”. By the 1910s, their floating library inspired copycat boats in Minnesota and Illinois, spreading learning through the heartland. The Book Boat Women proved that education could travel even on restless waters.”]

Many Jew-Zionists do display signs of being “brainwashed”, in a sense; brought up in a very strict schedule of ancient religious festivals etc (most of which celebrate Jewish ethnic supremacism and/or military and/or intelligence successes, including ethnic cleansing).
Then add to that the largely-fake”holocaust” mythus and narrative, and the modern “Israel” foundation myth or “ur-mythus” as seen in so many post-1945 “American” films, such as Exodus [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Exodus_(1960_film)], and Spielberg’s Schindler’sList (a film made as quasi-“fact”, but in fact based on a novel written by an Australian who was only 4 years old in 1939. Even Wikipedia calls his book (Shindler’s Ark) “historical fiction“: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Thomas_Keneally.

“South Africa – 1st for deaths by knife globally – 8th highest murder rate globally – a woman is more likely to be raped than learn to read – 32% unemployment rate – [only] 46% of children in secondary education.”
[from a tweet seen]
…and yet the whole System mass media, all the fake “celebrities”, all the “antifa” dimwits, pretty much all the Labour Party membership etc still think that South Africa is better than it was in the 1960s, 1970s, 1980s. They still think that thick-as-two-short-planks Nelson Mandela was both saintly and incredibly intelligent (in fact, he was a would-be terrorist leader who turned to African revolution at the age of 42, and after having failed his law degree several times, and the only reason he was not an active terrorist leader is because he was so inept at conspiracy, and was arrested before he could start a race war against South African whites).
Few people in the West are aware of the true facts, or that those behind Mandela and his botched race-war terror strategy were Jews, including at least one formerly involved in the bombing of the King David Hotel in Jerusalem in 1946: see https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/King_David_Hotel_bombing.
South Africa may have needed reform in the 1960-1990 period, but African “majority rule” was always going to be disastrous. It has been.
I wrote that almost two years ago on the blog. Still true.
Even now, the name “Nelson Mandela” is customarily intoned on TV quiz shows and news broadcasts in the UK with ludicrous reverence. That thick African “secular saint”, in reality a failed law student and a failed, inept, would-be terrorist “leader” is (or so they pretend) venerated by System talking heads, scribblers, political drones etc. All part of the overall conspiracy, of course.
This policy placates at least two lobby groups in the UK— Jewish/Jew-Zionist (because it gets rid of Palestinian Arabs out of Gaza, which is being ethnically-cleansed so that Jews can populate it as part of “Israel”), and the Muslim lobby. Both.
What group is not benefited by it? Oh, yes, the white European people “formerly known as British”, but of course the Labour, Conservative, and other treacherous System bastards care nothing for us, or the future of the English/British people.
It’s almost funny— all the MPs (inc. Farage and his cabal), System talking-heads and scribblers etc, are horrified at the very idea that the migrant-invaders might be shot down in the Channel, yet they think it wonderful that WW2 Germans were, or that 21stC Russians might be. Both Germans and Russians would be a thousand times better than the current black/brown invaders.
Stop the migration invasion in any way necessary. It is an existential danger.

[“When I was arrested, Met Police officer Julia Bill specifically cited my use of the term ‘jewish supremacy’. Let that sink in. The charge that any criticism of ‘jewish supremacy’ is hatred of all jews ironically presumes that all jews are supremacists. Whether 60% or 98% of a group supports a supremacist ideology does not change the reality of an oppressive system. The only thing that percentage affects is the system’s potential to survive. In Britain, you can criticise White supremacy freely without fear of being sacked, defamed, or arrested. Health Secretary Wes Streeting has himself used the term ‘White supremacists’. Was he punished or arrested for it? Of course not. To make one ideology immune from criticism levied against all others is the essence of supremacy. This is not an academic point. It is even more profoundly sinister when this particular system underpinned the two-year Holocaust of Palestinians we have just witnessed. This immunity has fatal consequences. My case, Dr @EllenKriesels‘s, and others are the live test. Elites of any variety simply do not go to Dubai anyway because it is widely recognised to be a very large brothel; a refuge for scammers, fraudsters and drug-dealing rappers; and a dumping ground for illicit cash in gaudy Sajwani tower blocks designed for mob bosses who boast about their Versace interiors.
But yes, large swathes of Muslims and black influencers — certainly not the ‘elites’ of their communities — do waste their money in Dubai to fund the genocidal colonial expansion of this vassal state to the Zionist project. And even they must now reflect on their choices. Going to Dubai on holiday will soon be as taboo among Muslims and black communities as going to the genocidal Zionist state itself.
But the last stalwarts of crass Dubai genocide tourism will be white working-class Britons, who have displayed over the past four decades a startling inability to care about anything, much less the industrial-scale imperial murder of Arabs and Africans. The UAE, or as I put it, Luton-on-the-Gulf, will continue attracting those for whom it is simply small-town Britain but with hotter weather. Any effective boycott of the UAE must much more aggressively pull in atomised, nihilistic, depoliticised audiences across all demographics, and the most depoliticised audience of all remains white working-class Britons.”]
I have to say that, were I the ruler of Dubai, I should have created a far better city-state than that ugly pastiche of Miami Beach and Monaco. The same goes for the other UAE emirates, and Qatar.
The weird thing, of course, about Muslim statelets such as the UAE and Qatar is that, on the one hand, they have the very latest technology, the latest and most expensive cars etc, but at the same time an underlying way of life which is feudal, mediaeval and, indeed, almost in the dark ages: Islam, and legal systems based on Islam.
The other odd thing about those Gulf statelets is that 90% of the population of most if not all of them is foreign, all of which foreigners are there short-term, in a few cases medium-term, trying to make and save money before they head home (as they have to do— they have no right to remain…).
Mini-states that take themselves too seriously are always open to ridicule, of course. I have never been to Monaco, but recall seeing a two or three-part series about the Principality, which has 510 acres, about the size (somewhat smaller) than Hyde Park (350 acres) and Kensington Gardens (265 acres) combined, and much smaller than New York’s Central Park (843 acres). The excessive respect (servility, indeed) shown by everyone there to its ruling prince, Albert, was very funny.
Not that there seemed to be anything terrible about this American-sounding fellow (the son, of course, of the American film actress, Grace Kelly), but it just is rather funny to see quite a bit of pomp and circumstance going on in this tiny semi-enclave not much bigger than Hyde Park; a Ruritanian feeling.
Pretty amazing, if anywhere near accurate. About 422 Reform MPs, 51 Greens, 49 LibDems, 44 SNP, 34 Lab, 14 Cons [etc].
That would be a stunning result, giving Reform a huge Commons majority of nearly a hundred MPs.
If that came to pass, you could pretty much knock out the Conservative Party completely. It would never recover. Labour probably much the same, though less clearly so, because the Conservative bases have been eroding for a long time despite, maybe even because of, the 14 years of (incompetent) Con Party government. Labour is still well-embedded in the trade unions, public services, and the ethnic minority “communities”.
Looks as though many of the actual “socialists” or play-socialists, have abandoned Labour for the Greens, just as a certain number of former Con voters have abandoned the Cons for the LibDems, and others for Reform UK.
Incidentally, if my present feeling is right about the Con vote declining to as low as 10% by 2028/2029 (partly because many of the very old people who are the Con mainstay will not be living by then, and partly because many will go either Reform or LibDem), then the Conservative Party might be left with only 1 MP, Labour about 30, the SNP, Greens, and LibDems 30-40 each, and Reform as many as 459 MPs out of 650.
Just 16% of British people now support Keir Starmer’s Labour government —a record low
This government will go down as one of the most incompetent and unpopular on record
Does that mean that his thick, ugly, daughters are now, following suit, not “Princess”? I hope so.

The Epstein inner milieu was essentially Jewish, though non-Jews with useful intelligence information, influence or “clout” (such as American future or ex-Presidents) were also invited to travel to “Lolita Island” on the “Lolita Express” private jet(s), and to stay on the island.
Some of the Jews invited by Epstein included Peter Mandelson, the famous Jew-Zionist lawyer Alan Dershowitz [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alan_Dershowitz], and prominent members of the Israeli intelligence apparat.

One factor alone: a couple of days ago, the first “unescorted” migrant-invader boat for about 2 years came to UK shores. In other words, every day, give or take, for the past 2 years, the migrant-invader untermenschen have been “escorted” to the UK by the Royal Navy, Border Force (farce?) or the (captured by traitors) RNLI’s vessels. Or, to put it another way, the invaders have been ferried here. Google “Coudenhove-Kalergi Plan”…
Translates to a Commons with about 445 Reform UK MPs, 71 Lab, 48 LibDem, 41 SNP, 14 Con, 7 Green (etc).
Who would ever have thought it? Not only the Reform upsurge, but a mere 14 Con Party MPs in the Commons, only seven more than the Green Party, and scarcely more than a quarter of the LibDem contingent.
Also, Labour projected to be on 71, having won or retained 412 MPs only just over a year ago, in 2024.
What makes recent polls even more remarkable is that Reform has climbed so high despite most people polled residing little trust in Farage, Reform’s leader (and I dare say that Tice, Reform’s deputy leader, and a total doormat for the Jewish lobby and Israel, would poll even lower, assuming that the public generally are even aware of his existence).
Imagine where an upsurge-party could be if it had a leadership cadre in which the public could reside trust!

It is easy to say that the open-borders Greens are just loonies that have no traction, but those loonies are currently polling at 12% in some polls. That is almost as high as the current polling of the “Conservatives” and the LibDems (both around 15% in some polls; in others the LibDems are on 12%, Cons 15%).
Of course, the Green Party is mainly default voting for some disenchanted former Labour Party voters. They are unlikely to poll, in a general election, as high as 12% (6.39% at GE 2024), but it is disturbing that so many people are willing to accept such rose-tinted socio-political fantasies as having any reality.

In any event, Labour is toast whichever clown may replace Starmer-stein. Labourites can take comfort in the undoubted fact that the Con Party is even more “toast” than Labour.

I cannot now remember how much my First Class monthly season ticket Brockenhurst-London Waterloo cost when I used that line near-daily in 1999 and then again in 2001, but it seemed extortionate, and for a not very reliable service. I just looked up, out of curiosity, what it would cost this month. £1,400 for the month. Nein danke!

Oxford University, like the rest of the UK, is sliding very fast now.
Incidentally, the Oxford Union elections brought forth the following names:
“The full breakdown of results is as follows:
President-elect: George Abaraonye
Librarian-elect: Brayden Lee
Treasurer-elect: Matthew Chiu
Secretary: Samy Medjdoub
The six candidates elected to the Standing Committee are Arwa Hanin Elrayess, Liza Barkova, Prajwal Pandey, Daniel Eldridge, Katie Pannick, and Catherine Xu. Victor Marroquin-Merino was the runner-up.
The eleven candidates elected to the Secretary’s Committee are Vijay Pathak, Will Lawson, Milo Donovan, Sara Hughes, Qasim Ahmad, Zahra Saeed, Dheeraj K. Singh, Catherine Kola-Balogun, Trishaad Surty, Oliver Douglas, and Oliver Green.”

“Jeffrey Epstein was a very wealthy man, but exactly how wealthy and where that money came from remains shrouded in mystery.
Newly unearthed emails last week shone light on Epstein’s role as freelance client development officer, acting as a channel between political figures and business titans, greasing up the former with lifestyles they could not afford and the latter with avenues of political influence.
…the questions about the source of Epstein’s wealth have never been fully resolved. He was worth nearly $600m at his death, thanks mostly to two wealthy billionaire clients – Victoria’s Secret founder Les Wexner and, later, Apollo Global Management co-founder Leon Black – as well as Johnson & Johnson heiress Elizabeth “Libet” Johnson, sister of former US ambassador to the UK Woody Johnson.
Between his collection of lavish homes in New York, Palm Beach and Paris, two private Caribbean islands, two jets and helicopter, Epstein held nearly $380m in cash and investments, according to his estate.
That wealth arrived suddenly. According to associates, until the end of the 90s, Epstein was living in a two-bedroom apartment on Manhattan’s Upper East Side close to the river. It was only when Maxwell arrived from London that his lifestyle was dramatically elevated.
Epstein moved to a townhouse on 68th Street and later to a 28,000-sq-ft mansion on 71st Street, later transferred to him by Wexner in 2011.
Steven Hoffenberg, a former business partner of Epstein convicted of running a Ponzi scheme, claimed that Maxwell’s father, disgraced press baron Robert Maxwell, introduced his daughter to Epstein in the late 1980s.“
The Second World War broke out on this day 86 years ago, when Britain and France declared war on National Socialist Germany.
The Second World War was disastrous in so many ways. The devastation of much of Europe and Russia (the latter taken as sui generis), the death and overall misery inflicted on millions of people, the advance of Stalinism into Central Europe, the destruction of the German Reich (the only European power almost free of Jewish influence and control). Then there was the economic damage across Europe. Six years of a war economy.
Beyond the above, the Second World War had consequences arguably even more disastrous. The fall of European rule, or slow abandonment of European imperial and quasi-imperial power over most of Africa, much of Asia, parts of Latin America etc. That led in turn to large-scale civil conflicts, regional wars by the newly-independent states (as with India-Pakistan), a huge increase in urbanization, enormous environmental damage, deforestation, extinction of wildlife etc.
Latterly, also the flooding of Europe with “refugees” and economic migrants from across the more backward parts of the world.
It just goes on.
Now, in 2025, 80 years after the end of that disastrous conflict, we see the possibility of a new “world war”. Siren voices in the UK, USA, France etc call for war with Russia, even with China, as well as against smaller states.
There are few “statesmen” around, certainly not in the West, but all political leaders and commentators should think twice and thrice before placing their weight on the scales in favour of war, particularly when the ostensible casus belli is the fake “state” of Kiev-regime Ukraine, a country under the control of a Jew-Zionist cabal which has banned elections indefinitely, banned opposition parties, banned trade unions, arrested or killed dissidents; the army of which is manned by ill-trained troops often abducted on the streets and forced to serve. A brutal, corrupt, and shambolic regime, ruling a “state” which did not even exist 35 years ago.
Of course, “world wars” are a misnomer. Large parts of the world were not directly affected by the Second World War while it was ongoing; the actual destruction was largely confined to parts of Europe, parts of Russia, parts of North Africa, parts of Asia. Vast areas of the world technically “at war” never saw a battle. Even in Europe, there were neutral countries which saw no actual fighting or bombing: Portugal, Spain, Switzerland, Liechtenstein, Sweden.
Today, though, we are in a world overshadowed by nuclear weapons. Still, it may be that, should the worst happen, life will eventually resume. Let us hope so.
In the meantime, let us also hope that the voices calling for war are silenced.
IN BRIEF: What is known about overnight Ukrainian drone attacks on Russian regions. Falling drone debris damaged an apartment building and three private houses, as well as four cars, in the city of Bryansk, regional Governor Alexander Bogomaz said:https://t.co/L9o0km6DpFpic.twitter.com/LwudXuV7mP
As previously said on the blog, neither side should be directly targeting civilians.
Boris destroyed and betrayed Britain. He imposed masses of low-skill, low-wage, non-European migration, making us poorer & more divided. He even removed the need for British firms to advertise jobs in Britain first. I'd take @ZiaYusufUK + Reform any day of the week over that. https://t.co/BSo7agZaxF
That buffoon, Clarke, thinks that “Boris”-idiot is a “leader“. Well, no, he is not. He is just an over-entitled silver-(plated)-spoon psychopath who should have been locked in a box decades ago and kept there.
“Boris” Johnson was puffed to absurdity by a supine Press and TV over two decades and more, largely because he has always been connected to the Jewish lobby and Israel (and is himself part-Jew). The public were told what a great brain he was or is, how educated and informed he is or was, what a “leader” he was or is etc. All lies. Stupid schoolboy ideas at best (bridges over the Irish Sea, an island airport between Kent and Essex etc etc), no ideals at all, no ability to inspire or even administer, no honour, no honesty…just a big nothing. A kind of public entertainer.
“Boris”-idiot never had either the ability or the character to be a prime minister; he also lacked (and lacks) any useful or realistic ideas.
I shall add one thing, that I noticed, and noted on the blog, years ago: “Boris” Johnson is no strong-willed leader; in fact he is no kind of leader at all and, far from imposing his will on people, organizations, countries, events, is and was pushed around by all of those.
As for Clarke, he is a know-nothing who, until selected and elected as an MP in 2017, at age 32, had never really had a job. He lost his seat in 2024 and is now director of one of those Jewish-lobby-connected fake think-tanks, in this case called “Onward”: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Simon_Clarke_(politician).
I suppose that Clarke thinks that he can regain his seat at Middlesbrough South and East Cleveland, lost to Labour in 2024 by only 214 votes. That seems unlikely to me, looking at the collapse of support for a —daily less credible— Conservative Party; also, the seemingly irresistible rise of Reform UK (which did not contest that seat in 2024).
The *very first thing* the new leader of the "liberal" Greens in the UK does is publicly endorse the arrest of a comedian for sharing gender critical views. This is where radical "progressive" authoritarianism leads: shut down anybody who disagrees with them. Be warned.
One Zack Polanski, apparently. Are you surprised? I have little doubt that (((Polanski))) also supports the idea of the UK having “holocaust” “denial” heresy laws too, repressive laws similar to those in France, Germany, and elsewhere. So far we have managed to avoid such police-state nonsense, at least as far as examination of history is concerned.
Of course, the Greens in the UK are a joke party, supposedly environmentally-conscious yet supportive of the mass immigration which is trashing the environment.
The Greens are only about 10% in the polls; were Labour under Starmer-stein not such a shambles, the 10% would be about 5%, if that.
In case you’re wondering what is happening in the UK, the Labour prime minister who told Donald Trump “we don’t have a free speech problem” is now criticising police for sending five armed officers to arrest a comedian who shared gender critical views on Twitter/X.
The moneygrubbing, and petty corruption, of this Labour Friends of Israel government were both evident from the start, of course.

Farage is, of course, a bit “Marmite”; people mostly either love or hate him. I should say that my own feeling is closer to dislike than like, Farage being pro-Israel, pro-Jewish lobby etc, and a finance-capitalist to boot. Also, as many say, a “snake-oil salesman”. No argument. However, to destroy the main System parties, there must be a destroying force. Reform is that force.
If Reform makes it into government in 2028/2029, it will be blocked at every turn. It will fail to accomplish most of what it wants to achieve. That situation, in turn, will lead on to real social nationalism. Raise the banners!

Angela Rayner, Deputy Prime Minister, is on the make. She's gone from no money to rolling in it. She's on Supermarket Sweep, piling her trollery full from whoever gives to her
I rarely repost anything from George Galloway, who is himself rather a “grifter”, and one who tweeted some silly and negative things about me some years ago but, in the Australian phrase, “fair do’s“. Angela Rayner deserves to be binned. I always hold the moral high ground…
As Galloway implies and indeed expresses, Angela Rayner’s political career, which has done nothing for the British people, has enriched the woman herself. In fact, she personifies the change in the demographic, as part of the working class or proletariat became, after the 1970s, the contemporary “chavscum” element (or latter-day British lumpenproletariat), with its grabbing of whatever is going free, its tattoos (even for women), its “vaping”, the underage pregnancies, and so on.
Galloway got his point across clearly without having to resort to the obvious (though true) comment that Angela Rayner and her colleagues are “filling their boots” while they can.

Hey, Matt Goodwin! Don’t forget to mention that, in the UK (as in many other countries), it is the Jewish lobby, aka Israel lobby, that is behind almost all of the repression of free speech.
Sadly, Goodwin is very much in the pocket of the Jewish/Israel lobby, just like Farage, Tice, Toby Young, the Free Speech Union etc.

[“Hundreds of lawyers across the UK have been investigated by the Solicitors Regulation Authority and Bar Standards Board after they speak out against Israel’s genocide of Palestinians, following demands made by the UK Lawyers for Israel and other Zionist lobby groups. The BSB is now invoking the deeply flawed UK Terrorism Act to prosecute barristers that provide legal analysis of the rights of organisations under international law to armed resistance to the genocidal @IDF, even in circumstances where the police have not taken action. This is a massive expansion of the deeply flawed Terrorism Act, leading the UK to extremely dangerous and authoritarian territory. One such case is Ousman Noor, who worked as a human rights and refugee law barrister and now faces prosecution by the Bar Standards Board after providing legal analysis of the rights of Hezbollah under international law to use military force against the IDF. He has instructed barrister Franck Magennis to defend this case in a way that causes maximum damage to the racist ideology of Zionism and apartheid state of Israel. “You have my absolute word that a reform government will repeal the Online Safety Act.”
Well, the by-election is to be held the day after tomorrow, Thursday 1 May 2025. The chance for the voters of that area to make British political history. At present, Reform and Labour are neck-and-neck, according to the opinion polls. I have already blogged that I think that Reform can smash it, but that depends on all Reform-leaning voters getting out and voting, if they have not already done so by postal ballot. As for 2024 General Election Con voters, the Conservative Party candidate has no chance at all at the by-election (and got only 16% last year); so to stick it to Labour, vote Reform.
Any 2024 Labour voters wanting to send a message to Starmer-stein can either vote Reform (or, failing that, at least for some other party that is standing a candidate) or simply abstain.
If Reform can win the by-election, then both Labour and Con are doomed; if Labour manage to hang on, that too says that Labour is doomed, because Runcorn and Helsby was the 16th most-Labour seat as recently as July last year. A mere Labour win, unconvincing, would say that most of the country hates Starmer-stein and his fake Labour-label.

It's so important we support our Armed Forces Personnel 🇬🇧
I agree with tweeter “@CambrayXX”. Who are the Labour Party supporters in these polls? I think that the answer is that the UK is now about 20% non-white. Labour Party support is running at about 25%. Most blacks and browns (and other non-Brits) vote Labour.
By my reckoning, and using Electoral Calculus, those figures would give Reform 271 MPs, Labour 176, LibDems 69, Cons 68. Enough of the surviving Con MPs would defect to Reform, or make an accommodation, to give Reform a working majority.
Hard to understand why any white English/Welsh/Scottish person would vote Labour-label now. The policies are indistinguishable from those pursued by “Conservatives” David Cameron-Levita and George Osborne from 2010-2015.
I think that, especially in the North of England, there are still people around who support Labour in the same manner as they do their local football team— unthinkingly, and because their grandparents did; and maybe they have not noticed that Starmer-stein’s Labour-label of 2025 is just not the same party Labour was in 1975, or 1965, or 1945. It has become a different party with a similar label.
The same or similar is true of many unthinking “Conservative” voters in the more southerly parts of the UK.

Who would vote for that Labour-label drone? Dishonest and useless. A local council “grifter”.
Seems that the Labour brand, so to speak, is being trashed not mainly by the drunken behaviour of thuggish ex-MP, Mike Amesbury, but more by Starmer-stein and his rabble of a fake Labour Cabinet. That woman in the doorway is going to vote not for Reform but for the Greens, as she finally said.

What a disappointment Dan Jarvis has been. I had thought that, as an ex-officer, and with a varied life-background, he would be better as an MP than he has been. Seems to be very pro the Jewish/Israel lobby, for one thing.
Actually, ex-officers usually are disappointing, not infrequently useless, both as MPs and, especially, as ministers (cf. Johnny Mercer, Iain Dunce Duncan Smith, Ben Wallace etc).
The real question is: Why the hell are these devils still in our country?

Three useless pointless System parties, and Reform UK, which is semi-System (at the top) but not perceived by people as being as weak and useless as the others. As I blogged previously, in relation to both the USA election and Labour’s present situation in the UK.
The difference lies in the fact that the people of the UK had 14 years of inept “Conservative” misgovernment 2010-2024, and the voters wanted the Cons out, at almost any price.
Having said that, and as previously noted several times on the blog, out of every 20 eligible voters in the UK at GE 2024, and in rough figures, about 8 were so disenchanted with the whole political process, with society, and with the political choices available, that they voted with their feet (did not vote at all).
For me, the most significant figures would be the 8 out of 20 who did not vote, and the 2 that voted Reform UK.
Obviously, Labour, Starmer-Labour, has little real popular mandate, particularly in view of the fact that Labour’s “4 out of 20” or “4 out of 12” would have included those who, faced with a Lab-Con fight in many constituencies, voted Lab to do down the Cons; the same, in reverse, may also be true, though to a lesser extent; those who voted Con to prevent Lab from winning. Negative voting.
There is at present, or as yet, no sign of a real social-national party emerging in the UK.
I think that Matt Goodwin may be right, i.e. that Reform UK will emerge as the real opposition to Labour in the public mind.
Reform UK now has 5 MPs, though all are rather underwhelming. Reform should of course (were the electoral system not both illogical and unfair) have had about 93 MPs, not the mere 5 awarded to them under FPTP.
It is ridiculous that a party, Reform UK, can get 14.29% of the popular vote and end up with 5 MPs, and that another party, the LibDems, can be voted for by only 12.22%, yet end up with 72 MPs! That does offend the still quite strong sense of fairness and fair play in this country.
Come to that, Labour itself captured only 33.7% of the popular vote, not greatly more than double the vote of Reform UK, yet now has 411 MPs.
A pure proportional-voting system would have given Labour 219 MPs, the Conservative Party 154, Reform UK 93, LibDems 79, and Green Party 42.
In other words, under pure proportional voting, on GE 2024 vote figures, the UK would still be under a Labour Party government, but it would be a minority one.
In practice, 320 MPs give a UK government a Commons majority. Under the proportional-voting scenario, and in order to get over the line, Labour would have been required to compact with either the Conservative Party, or with Reform UK, or with both the LibDems and Greens. I suppose that that last choice would have been the most likely— Labour with LibDem and Green support.
Having said that, were there a fairer and more proportional voting system in the UK, voters would be able to cast their votes knowing that, unless they were to vote Monster Raving Loony Party or the like, their votes would almost certainly result in at least one MP of their preference getting elected. On GE 2024 figures, even George Galloway’s party, Workers’ Party, would have had 4 or 5 MPs in the Commons (0.73% of the popular vote, 210,194 actual votes).
There is little doubt in my mind that, were the UK voting system fairer, most UK voters would not be voting for the System or “legacy” parties. Not only would Reform UK surge forward, but a real social national party might be able to capture both the imagination and the votes of the British people. That, of course, is why System politicians want to retain the present voting set-up.

That is about Simon Myerson, Leeds-based barrister and one of the “CAA” and “UKLFI” Jew-Zionist crowd, who was sacked as a Recorder (p/t judge) several months ago as a consequence of his extremely unpleasant and persistent social media trolling.
According to Myerson, the terrible slaughter visited upon the people of Gaza is, “legally”, not “genocide”, presumably because not all Gazans have been killed or wounded (“only” 150,000+, i.e. about a tenth of the population), and because the Israelis at least claim not to intend eliminating all Gazans or other Palestinian Arabs from Israel/Palestine.
Well, could not a similar claim, mutatis mutandis, be made by Germany about the Europe-resident Jews of the early 1940s?
Not my area of law (when I had “areas of law”). In any case, my own view of the Gaza slaughter is not based on some “dancing on a pin” legal sophistry. I say, just look at what the Israelis have been doing, and what they continue to do. Whether it is called “genocide” or not is irrelevant, really.
I have noticed that some of the non-Jews (who are pro-Jew-Zionist or, maybe better said, pro-Israel), and some of those who are part-Jew (what the Reich termed Mischlingen) but Zionist, are actually more fanatical than many of those who are fully-Jewish. Strange. That phenomenon has been covered on the blog, on this very popular page: https://ianrobertmillard.org/2019/07/18/theyre-coming-to-take-me-away-ha-ha/.

I recall seeing the Australian TV series Skippy the Bush Kangaroo a few times after my family moved to Sydney in 1967 (I was 10 at the time). The show was on TV from early 1968.
TV shows and films such as Skippy may seem like sentimental rubbish to some people, and to some extent they may be, but there are innumerable examples of the intelligence and capabilities of our animal friends. Some such stories become famous, others are either unknown or are known only to the few people directly involved.
Interesting. I have been to Famagusta (now in Turkish-ruled Northern Cyprus), but some years ago, in fact many years ago— January 2000. I did not see the ruins of the Varosha resort, though. That is a mile south of the main town, I think.
When I drove to Famagusta (from Kyrenia), the ruins of its ancient heritage were deserted. My then girlfriend and I were alone there. There were not even any people selling postcards or the like. Even the more modern parts of the town were far from busy. That was 24 years ago, though. Things change, of course. I think that there has been quite a lot of development in some areas.
I rather liked Northern Cyprus. Relaxed and, in 2000 at least, with relatively few tourists, and really none once you left Kyrenia (officially, now, Girne). A little cold at night (in January) but warm-ish during the day, usually, and with numerous interesting ancient sites (which one shared with no other people at all) set amid orange groves. I even had a rather bracing swim off a deserted beach, but it was no colder in the water than it is in the UK in summer, and the sun was shining.
I drove one day from Kyrenia right the way down the Karpas Peninsula [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Karpas_Peninsula] to the eastern end. At that point, you are only 60 miles across the Eastern Mediterranean from Latakia in Syria.
“In a straw poll of veterans, Farage’s campaign message seemed to be getting through.
Jason Stewart was in a green beret and a biker jacket studded with medals; after a long career in the Royal Marines, he “thought it was time to get out after I was blown up twice in one day in Afghanistan”.
He offers a version of an argument heard all day. “The two main parties look both the same to me,” he says. “The Tories don’t care about us. And Labour say they will reopen prosecutions of soldiers who served [in the Troubles] so that’s a no-no. Farage and Reform seem like the only option.”
Up the road, meanwhile, opposite McDonald’s, there was an alternative display of army jeeps and vehicles alongside veterans in fatigues. The display was organised by David Bye and his partner, Linda Hazelton, who run a charity delivering homemade pie and mash to needy veterans around the town. Bye had a one-to-one chat with Farage when he visited and claims he was given certain commitments, which will remain between them.
He grew up here; he remembers earning pocket money as a kid running tourist luggage down busy streets to Butlin’s. It’s been a long decline, he says, since the holiday camp went. “I thought I’d seen it all,” he says. “But the other morning I saw a long queue of blokes on bikes waiting for McDonald’s to open. They were collecting takeaways for people who couldn’t be bothered to make breakfast for their kids.
“I don’t know where you start with some of that,” he suggests. “But I think Nigel gets it.
The place holds symbolic relevance to Farage. Exactly a decade ago, under his Ukip brand, a meeting here paved the way for that party’s only Westminster election success, for Douglas Carswell. If you were to define the moment that Brexit became a possibility, and then a reality, you might begin there. Nine hundred people showed up, many of whom had not previously taken any interest in national politics. In the course of their populist pitch, Carswell and Farage quoted liberally from a Times newspaper column the previous week written by Matthew Parris.
Looking back at that column a decade on, you can see in it all the faultlines that were exposed and exploited so cynically by Farage and Brexit, the roots of the crisis that threatens to destroy the Conservative party in this election (a humiliation from which Farage, inevitably, hopes to benefit).
Parris, in his waspish style, on a visit to Clacton in 2014, had declared its irrelevance to modern Conservatism: “This is tracksuit-and-trainers Britain, tattoo-parlour Britain, all-our-yesterdays Britain,” he wrote. He asked his party a question which would now get a very different answer: “Is this where the Conservative party wants to be? [Or] do we need to be with the Britain that can admire immigrants and want them with us, that doesn’t want to spend its days buying scratchcards?”
Parris insisted that he was not “arguing that we should be careless of the needs of struggling people and places such as Clacton. But I am arguing – if I am honest – that we should be careless of their opinions.
Farage could not have scripted a better scene for himself than the spectacle of a Tory prime minister leaving the D-day celebrations early. Tragically, as this week is proving, the forces that made his bleak and divisive message relevant in 2014 have not gone away, and in the weeks to come you suspect that Westminster political parties will still ignore Clacton at their peril.”
[The Guardian].
Not once does the full article mention the fact that the person presently posing as PM is “unelected” (at least, unvalidated by a General Election) and a little Indian money-juggler; but there you are…”The Guardian”…
Interesting, though, all the same. I think that Farage has every chance of being elected at Clacton. The only reason that the Conservative Party candidate Giles Watling (MP since 2017, a long-retired actor, and a member of the Garrick Club, who lives at Frinton, the more expensive part of the constituency) got over 70% of the vote in 2019 is because his political stance is akin to that of UKIP/Brexit Party/Reform UK anyway.
Watling came second, behind ex-Conservative Douglas Carswell (for UKIP) both at the 2014 by-election and the 2015 General Election, and only won in 2017 because Carswell stood down. Having said that, Watling did get 36.7% in 2015, only about 8 points behind Carswell.
While the election at Clacton might yet be close, Farage has every chance now. Labour and other parties are spectators at Clacton. Labour’s best was 25.4% (in 2017, when the Cons got over 60%).
Interestingly, that 2017 Labour candidate, Natasha Osben, is now, in 2024, the Green Party candidate. Starmer is really not very popular even within the Labour —or recently Labour— ranks.
Will Labour voters vote tactically? If so, for Reform UK or for the Conservative Party? My money is on Reform UK.
“Alarmingly for Conservative HQ, many polling experts believe the conditions are ripe for a repeat of 1997, when tactical voting benefited Labour and the Lib Dems and cost the Tories dozens of seats, most notably the toppling of Michael Portillo in Enfield Southgate. This time, Shapps is among the big beasts who could suffer their own polling night infamy.
Tactical efforts came to little at the last election. Hopes among pro-Remain campaigners of an anti-Brexit tactical vote were dashed as Boris Johnson won an 80-strong majority. But conditions have changed. Peter Kellner, the veteran pollster, wrote in the Observer before the 1997 election that while he detected little “positive enthusiasm” for Labour, an electorate with “a burning desire to end 18 years of Tory rule” made for receptive tactical voting conditions. He believes similar ingredients are present today.
While the net effects of tactical voting are hard to calculate, the Liberal Democrats could gain 10-20 extra seats through anti-Conservative tactical voting, according to an analysis by the Electoral Calculus consultancy. Meanwhile, with the added help of Nigel Farage and Reform UK, the tactical dynamic could push Labour closer in another swathe of previously safe Tory seats.“
“Writing in the Observer, Rob Ford, a leading expert on voting intention and trends, says the evidence from polls shows that “an electoral asteroid is streaking through the atmosphere” and is heading for the Tory heartlands. Ford no longer thinks it impossible that the Conservatives could end up with less than 100 seats, so badly is their campaign misfiring and so much trust have they lost over 14 years and the tenures of five prime ministers.
Other polling experts say that such is the geographical spread of the Tory vote, and the brutal nature of the first past the post system, that once their vote drops into the low 20% region, the number of seats could fall into double digits – and could go as low as 20.“
[Observer/Guardian]
I have speculated for quite a while that the Con vote might go low enough nationwide to leave the Cons with as few as 50 MPs. Perhaps I was right (I sometimes am…).

Entitled self-seeking political hog Emily Thornberry, who only became “Labour” in the first place after her highly-paid UN-working father deserted her and her mother, abandoning his wife and daughter, and resulting in their having to relocate to a council house. She is motivated by malice and early spite and/or envy.
Emily Thornberry and her husband (a retired High Court judge) are buy-to-let parasites, incidentally; I believe that I read that they own, or used to own, at least 8 buy-to-let properties. Pro-Israel, too.

The Conservative Party now deserves to be not only removed from government, and preferably entirely wiped out, but do not imagine that fake “Labour” will be much if at all better. Look at its leaders and major influencers: Keir Starmer, Rachel Reeves, Yvette Cooper, Liz Kendall. All members of Labour Friends of Israel. All self-seeking moneygrubbers too.
David Lammy, that ignorant creature, as well.
That thick creature might be Foreign Secretary soon. Poor Britain…

Lady Nugee aka Emily Thornberry with a property portfolio in excess of £4million who sent her children to a partially selective school and who is a former human rights lawyer speaks for the people.
I can’t stand Emily Thornberry. She’s Champagne Socialist delusional. She got own four properties how wealthy she is. She lives in an Islington townhouse worth roughly £2.9million and owns a £600,000 flat in Guildford. She also bought a property in Clerkenwell for £572,000.
Emily Thornberry slightly reminds me of Mrs Mossberg, a fat, short and jolly Jewish primary school teacher, usually —in my memory— dressed in a long dark-brown mink coat; I knew her circa 1962, when about 5 or 6 years old and a pupil at Caversham Primary School near Reading. Mrs Mossberg, though, was far more pleasant than Emily Thornberry seems to be.
In retrospect, I wonder why Mrs Mossberg ever bothered to be a teacher, which I doubt paid much. She lived not far from my family, a few roads away, in a large detached house. The main reception room, which I saw at least once, seemed enormous to the 5-y-o me, and it had a large grand piano in it. Maybe she just enjoyed teaching.
The last tweeter says that Emily Thornberry owns 4 properties; I thought I read 8 somewhere.
NEW POST. The Tory elite class is completely lost. What the reaction to Nigel Farage and the rise of Reform tells us about our out-of-touch eliteshttps://t.co/pnbLrAmJvy
“Elite“, though, seems the wrong word to describe that bunch of clowns.
This is a superb piece of analysis – the truth is Tory liberalism both social and economic has failed and failed utterly – what none of the Tory pundit class have confronted is the abject failure of their economic model – from Osborne to Hunt it has been a calamity https://t.co/GE7v1VSbNk

From what little one hears or reads, some of the chiefs or former chiefs of Israeli Intelligence (MOSSAD, Shin Beth, Aman etc) are also not optimistic about Israel’s long-term or even medium-term survival.
The Tory elite class should spend less time attacking Nigel Farage and more time reflecting on how they created him by wrecking the country. Now open to all 👇👇 https://t.co/NYMHLINPeW
“Conservatives face election wipeout with Labour set to gain a 416 majority that could see Rishi Sunak LOSING his seat and the Tories being left with just 39 MPs, shock Mail on Sunday poll reveals.”
[Daily Mail]
If that turns out to be correct on 4 July 2024, I will have been proven correct, and the “experts” and “specialists” (who have been saying 100-200 Con MPs left post-GE 2024) would be wrong (again)…
Also true, arguably. About the same, I should say.
Clacton is currently polling Reform at 33%, tories on 30% ans labour 25%. Everywhere else, reform are averaging about 17% with either labour or tories on over 30%
The first tweet confirms what I have been blogging re. Clacton. It is between Reform UK (Farage) and the Cons (Giles Watling). Labour has no chance at all, but Labour voters in Clacton can be the kingmakers. Their votes can swing it, either for Reform or for the Cons.
Even if the second tweet is accurate, and it may not be, voters can still give the Cons a mighty and historic kick by voting Reform UK and thus preventing the Conservative Party from thriving, or even surviving.
The very fact that such a grassroots campaign is even necessary shows how sick society has become.
He was so in denial, so dismissive and unprepared for being challenged on the most basic questions on his behaviour the past 4/5 years. Really depressing , and I feel quite sad for him.
Refers to Robert Largan, the Israel-puppet and Jewish-lobby puppet who is desperately trying to keep his Commons seat at High Peak (Derbyshire), with its good pay and better expenses and perks, but he really has no chance. Make him get a real job.
High Peak voters should vote either Reform UK or Labour to get rid of Largan.
