I happened to see the comment below, appended to a video on YouTube.

“A friend of mine was very high-ranking in the British Army during the Iraq war and knew Tony Blair personally. When I asked what he was like he told me that Blair is ‘demon-possessed’. He was quite serious and meant this literally. This surprised me as he is a mild-mannered, diplomatic man and not given to overstatement.”

I have no idea of the provenance and authenticity of that statement, but it rings true.

Fraudulent perjurer and one-time Con politician (“con” in both senses), Jeffrey Archer, says that he has been surprised by how many people he has “met in the street” who say they are going to vote for Farage and Reform UK. I expect that it would surprise a dishonest chancer of the Archer type. He fails to see (or prefers not to see) that voters are turning to Reform not because Farage is (as Archer puts it) “the best mob orator since Michael Foot or Tony Benn” (the now-deceased fake “socialist” traitors and poseurs) but because the old System parties, Con, Lab, and LibDem, have run the UK into the ground, particularly over the last 35 years, arguably for far longer. The voters are intending to vote Reform not because of Farage, or indeed Reform itself, but because Reform is the only (quasi-) credible game in town that is not Lib, Lab, or Con.

It must be easier for Archer to “meet people in the street” now. The only time I myself ever saw him in the street was in the 1980s (I forget when exactly, probably circa 1985), somewhere in the Westminster area. As he exited one of several cars, his retinue of bodyguards and/or other idiots got in my way as I walked along the pavement. I actually had to walk onto the roadway to get past as that silly little man, about 5 feet tall, marched self-importantly inside a building, surrounded by his entourage of besuited nobodies. F*** him…

The devil is in the detail. Government, both central and local, needs revenue from various taxes, but what matters is not only how much is raised but also how and where it is spent. Much of the tax burden accomplishes little because the monies raised are mis-spent.

I was always anti the death penalty, but that was when this was a semi-decent, semi-civilized European country. It is now time to treat the untermenschen how they should be treated, to control them until we can get rid of them en masse one way or another.

The best part of that, if it happens, will be the grief and despair of all the Con and Lab careerist MPs, suddenly chucked out, and losing their ~£100,000+ p.a. salaries, their expense accounts, their networking opportunities etc. I’m lovin’ it!

That would be gamechanging in several ways, socially as well as politically. Politically, obviously, massive. The LibDems, though only with 68 MPs (fewer than they now have) as official Opposition in the Commons; the rout of Starmer-stein Friends of Israel “Labour”; also, the utter collapse of the once-great Conservative Party. 11 MPs! Brilliant. Just what they deserve (well, if what I would do to them were taken off the table). 11 MPs. Finished. Totally.

In fact, if that poll is realized in a general election, the fake Conservative Party will have only 3 MPs more (11) than the fairly pathetic Green Party (8).

That is the main point. In the UK, we see the pathetic msm “newspapers” and TV stations giving airtime to know-nothing talking heads, superannuated ex-officers etc and talking about Second World War things such as conscription, rationing etc, as if the nuclear age had not happened.

If a full-scale war —totally unnecessary— breaks out between NATO and Russia, you (especially in the UK, a major likely target) can forget about Dad’s Army, bread rations etc…just say a last prayer.

If Russia were willing to do it, Kiev and all other major Ukrainian cities under control of Zelensky would be radioactive holes in the ground within minutes. Russia has a different strategy, thank God. So far.

Imagine a former Conservative (she is the ex-wife of the one-time Con Party MP for Poole, who “employed” her via his MP expenses; he was voted out in 2024) who favours making British pensioners poorer so that (mostly non-European or non-white) families with several children can extract more money from the State!

The fact is, that “digital ID” would do nothing to stop or “control” illegal migration-invasion (which is, in any case, only 5% or so of all migration into the UK).

Academic argument anyway. The Starmer-stein government of utter clowns may be able to get the proposed new law (and this would require new law) through the Commons, thanks to his GE 2024 majority of young, know-nothing, fake-Labour MPs, but to get the new law through the Lords may be a great deal more difficult.

Many older people do not even have a “smartphone”. I had a mobile telephone before most people; from 1992, I think, certainly in 1993, but now that I do not have to have one (as I did when a practising barrister), I choose not to have one, for several reasons.

Will older people (65+) not in possession of a smartphone be forced to buy one? Will they be exempted? We do not know.

Such telephones cost hundreds of pounds, too.

I can see this being yet another Starmer disaster for Labour. Good in that respect, then.

Of course, behind the “digital ID” plan are the usual sinister forces and secretive cabals, as we saw during the “Covid” scamdemic/panicdemic.

Member of Labour Friends of Israel, pro-Israel warmonger, and supporter of mass immigration into this country. A very sleazy ex-Church of England priest, former Common Purpose employee, and also an expenses cheat, effectively a fraudster. Appalling in every way.

People such as Bryant get money, honours etc in our degraded country. Just disgusting.

A sterilization programme should be high on the agenda (probably not necessary in the case of Bryant, though).

The voters of Rhondda, now Rhondda and Ogmore, have been too silly in the past to see that Labour (since 1997, at least) gives them nothing, and have voted Bryant in, repeatedly, despite everything about him saying “no“. The Kiev regime has shown itself capable (both in moral terms and practically) of carrying out quite sophisticated attacks akin to terrorism in and around Russia. This is what happens when you commit mass ethnic cleansing, drive out the original inhabitants of a country, then repopulate that country with the sweepings of the ghettos, prisons, and labour camps of Europe.

Then the courts will have to be dealt with. We are getting into the glacial mess that characterizes American politics, whereby the executive power is trammelled by politicized judges (on the Supreme Court of the USA in that country, and by various higher courts in the UK).

As for that lady tweeter, she is fatally out of touch with the English/British heartlands. She has founded an offshoot of the Conservative Party she calls #Moderates. Her ex-husband was MP for Poole, turfed out by a mere 7 votes at GE 2024, and she was employed by him at about £50,000 a year via his Parliamentary expenses, “a nice little earner” (until it stopped).

I do not know whether the pseudo-Conservative “Moderates” exist outside the lady’s own mind (I suspect not); neither do I know whether they are the product of a bottle of whatever the lady may habitually drink.

In any event, the “Moderates” idea goes nowhere. UK politics (as this blog has always predicted) are becoming more “extreme”. People want clear and radical policies to —and I use the word advisedly— save this country at a very late hour.

At a guess, an educated guess, I should say that the policies for which that lady advocates (pro-immigration, getting rid of the Triple Lock, rejoining the EU, supporting the Kiev regime etc) would, as a compendium, probably attract the votes of, at best, 5% of the population. At best. Totally out of touch. In any case, there is already a party that pushes such policies— the LibDems (currently around 10% in the polls, but mainly because they are a default choice or “dustbin party”).

At, again, a guess, I should think that the membership of the so-called “Moderates” consists of the lady herself and however many bottles she can line up.

If “Rachel from Accounts and Customer Relations” Reeves scraps the Triple Lock, almost all voters from about age 50 or 55 will scrap her and, with her, Labour. At a time when Labour are running at about 20% in the opinion polls, that would be the final nail, if not already hammered home, in the Labour coffin.

As noted previously on the blog, a little judicious “racism” would have saved untold thousands of young English girls from being raped, exploited, and/or impregnated by non-Europeans. Unfortunately, System “education” in the UK (and other European countries, such as Norway and Sweden) does not teach young white English/British girls only to have relations with white English/British/real European men. On the contrary, it encourages race-mixing.

I should not be surprised were the Jew Zelensky not to end up like Mussolini or Gaddafi; having said that, he will probably flee to California, Florida, or Israel.

There is now effectively nothing left of the original, or even original post-WW2 (1945-1989), Labour Party.

The irrelevance of the Conservative Party is plainly seen there. Despite Starmer-stein having a disapproval rating of 60%, and Kemi Badenoch having one of “only” 35%, when it comes to positive approval, the two are both down in the trough of public esteem: Starmer 23%, Kemi Badenoch 24%. Indeed, fewer people actively disapprove of Kemi Badenoch (35%) than disapprove of Farage (41%), but when it comes to positive approval, Farage, on 37%, easily outpaces Kemi Badenoch’s 24%.

41% of people are unsure as to whether they approve or disapprove of Kemi Badenoch, a sure sign that she has made little impression on the public (and it can be seen that what impression she has made is mostly not favourable). By contrast, only 22% of the public are “unsure” about Farage— people either approve or disapprove of him, in almost equal numbers.

People are even more sure about Starmer. Only 17% are “unsure” about him, but 60% disapprove of him.

Quite simple. 14 years of total maladministration and misgovernment finished the Conservative Party with most of the electorate, though 3 out of every 12 voters who voted (3 out of every 20 eligible) still voted Con in 2024 (Labour had 4 out of 20 or 4 out of 12). Most of those Con voters were over 60 years of age, many over 80. They have mostly now gone to Reform UK, and many are expiring daily by reason of old age etc. The next general election may not be until 2029; how many habitual Con voters will have expired by then?

The young (anyone under 30, indeed the vast majority under 40) will not be voting Con. Most of the ethnic minority (rapidly becoming majority) voters prefer Labour or other parties. So who is left?

Once again, the “snake in the grass” here is the Jewish-Zionist/Israel lobby in the UK, which has most of the politicians of the two main System parties (and Reform, too, it seems) in its pocket. The (((lobby))) wants many many organizations banned or prosecuted; it wants many individuals prosecuted, too (they have already tried it with me: see below:

Strange that that former Conservative Party tweeter, Fiona-Natasha Syms (her ex-husband was Conservative Party MP for Poole until 2024; he lost by a mere 18 votes; and she worked for him, paid generously out of her ex-husband’s MP expenses) thinks that (of all people) Yvette Cooper is to be admired. Nein danke! Yvette Cooper is a would-be dictator, very dishonest, a moneygrubber and expenses cheat (as was her husband, Ed Balls), and a “refugees welcome” dimwit to boot! Also, like all of Starmer-stein’s Cabinet —except a few servile Muslims— a member of Labour Friends of Israel.

Short-sighted Con voters in some parts of England have, in the past couple of decades, shown themselves willing, in my view very wrongly, to vote for non-Europeans such as Kemi Badenoch as their constituency MP, so long as the right party label is affixed. Putting promises of low taxation etc above racial or national pride. That has led to the brainless Conservatives imagining that the country as a whole will vote, in effect, for a party led by a non-white MP. Very misguided. Look at Sunak.

True, that was not the only factor that sank the Conservatives at GE2024, but it was one important factor. Sunak was, in that sense, more “electable” than Kemi Badenoch. After all, people look at Indians en masse and see business, at least some organizational skills and, in Sunak’s case, a UK upbringing. Added to that, the vast wealth of his wife’s family and so his own wealth, meaning that, whether rightly or wrongly, he is at least perceived to be “in it” not for personal money reasons. Compare that to Kemi Badenoch, a loudmouth careerist carpetbagger.

Most Brits, not unfairly, look at Nigeria and see chaotic maladministration, corruption even worse than that of India, and nothing at all to admire. Kemi Badenoch was not even brought up in the UK. Her parents made sure that she was born in London, so that (under the law as it then was, in 1980) she could later claim a British passport, but she was only in the UK for a few days before being returned to Nigeria. She lived there and in the USA until at least age 16.

For those who say that Kemi Badenoch is scarcely a typical Nigerian, well, yes. As F. Scott Fitzgerald said, in effect (not an exact quotation), “the rich are different from you and me; they have more money“.

Yes, Kemi Badenoch is not a typical Nigerian. I have known a few like her, such as the Nigerian princess with whom I was acquainted in the mid/late 1980s, and whose (much older) husband was a Federal High Court judge in Nigeria. However, the basic model is still there, not far under the surface. (if anyone is interested, that Nigerian princess was shot dead in her luxury apartment in Lagos , nearly 30 years ago; Lagos is a rather dangerous place).

I just cannot believe that the British public will vote for a Prime Minister who is a Nigerian woman. The very idea, at least to me, is utterly farcical.

When you add to that her abrasive personality etc, you see how disastrous Kemi Badenoch is for the Conservative Party, which looks increasingly irrelevant.

No, don’t resign. Stay in place, dragging down your double salary (MP + ministerial) plus expenses, and making money out of being an exploitative private landlady. That will help to sink Starmer-stein’s Labour Friends of Israel government even faster.

Anyone who has had to deal with the chaotic crazy mess called “HMRC” will be familiar with the term “Kafka-esque“. I am glad to say that my interaction with them ceased some 13-14 years ago (in relation to matters now 20-40 years in the past). I found it hard to believe, at the time, that such chaotic maladministration could exist in this country.

In fact, HMRC reminded me slightly of the 1950 comic novel, The Way Backwards.

Translates to about 414 Reform UK MPs, 94 Labour, 54 LibDems, 37 SNP, Cons 21.

That would be a Commons majority greater than that of Starmer in 2024, and almost as great as that of Blair in 1997. Prior to that, very large majorities were achieved in the early 1930s, in the 1920s, and by Earl Grey’s government of 1832. All times of sweeping change.

Of course, 32% of the popular vote is not huge in historical terms, but is about what Starmer-Labour gathered-in in 2024. It hardly matters that your vote is “only” 32% if your main opponents are getting 20% and 16%.

War is hell, even when unavoidable. May victory attend the forces of Russia in Eastern Ukraine, and be the forerunner of genuine peace.

I wonder whether the fanatically pro-Israel Jew-Zionists of the UK (etc), such as those malicious abusers of the English legal system, the so-called “Campaign Against Antisemitism” [“CAA”], are listening?

Incidentally, I see that lying perjurer Gideon Falter, the head or figurehead of the “Campaign Against Antisemitism”, was allowed to publish a fairly long opinion piece in the Daily Telegraph. The horrible little bastard had the sheer gall to write about the small number of Israeli hostages held by Hamas in Gaza that they now look like Jews starved in German camps at the end of the Second World War.

That at a time when an Arab Palestinian population in the many hundreds of thousands, including huge numbers of civilians (many of them children), is being deliberately starved to death in Gaza by the (Israeli) Jews, a para-military campaign backed to the hilt by (non-Israeli) Jews such as Falter.

As a matter of fact, I should not be surprised if Falter, effectively an agent of influence of a foreign power, Israel, is not an Israeli passport-holder himself, perhaps a dual Israel/UK passport-holder (maybe even a triple passport-holder (Israel/UK/Austria).

I accept that the hostages in Gaza should be released, but the Palestinians have been pushed to the genocidal brink, and have few chips to play.

Israel should also release its own prisoners, of course. Some of them have also been brutalized and starved.

I once stayed overnight at Mappin’s hotel, a Victorian castle hotel at Tintagel, North Cornwall, the one-time seat of King Arthur. In late 2001; December 2001. It was not really run properly as “an hotel” should be; I believe that, since then, it has been taken in hand by Mappin, the heir to a very considerable fortune (think Mappin & Webb, the jewellers). I just read today that he bought it in 1999.

When I was there, it was hugely atmospheric, like a decayed private castle, an effect emphasized by the fact that my wife and I were the only guests, and the staff, in the evening at least, consisted of a not terribly welcoming middleaged Englishman and his (possibly Austrian) wife. I recall that our rather cold room (I think it may have had a four-poster, and an ancient bar fire set into the wall) cost £200 a night, quite expensive in the money of 24 years ago. Akin maybe to £400+ today.

I well recall, after eating informally at a local pub in the nearby village (no restaurant open then at the Castle), being seated before a Hollywood-film-scale blazing fire in the Great Hall, and being served a double or triple Irish whiskey, the absence of other guests making it seem as if we were in our own home (or castle).

In the morning, a very pleasant and very rickety old retainer-woman served breakfast in a long gallery, her tiny grandchild hanging onto her skirts, as the Cornish winter waves crashed onto the rocks below, as in Rebecca.

Memorable.

I blogged, years ago, about our stay. The Castle once played host to many of the rich and famous, especially in the years before the First World War. I happened to see the following tweet put out by the malicious and troublemaking “Campaign Against Antisemitism” or “CAA”, whose chief spokesperson, “Slitherman”, despite having been exposed (by the carelessness of the CAA’s own lawyer, and in open court) some years ago as a serial and sadistic online troller of people, especially women, is often featured on the “no one watches” Talk TV online outlet, GB News, and even Sky News, as well as LBC radio, all msm outlets under the (((usual))) influence, of course:

The right of individuals and organizations to bring private prosecutions, once, in practice, mainly the preserve of bodies such as the RSPCA and RSPB, is now being abused, mainly by tendentious political organizations such as the fake charity, the “CAA”.

The “CAA” is basically a volunteer arm of the Israeli Embassy in London. It has been, for about a decade, conducting both harassment and “lawfare” against individuals and bodies it considers anti-Israel and/or “antisemitic”.

So far, apart from me —not privately-prosecuted, the “CAA” having somehow suborned police and Crown Prosecution Service [“CPS”] personnel in order to have me prosecuted by direct police/CPS action (see blog posts above)— the CAA has harassed such as the famous David Icke, the (half-Jewish) jazz musician Gilad Atzmon, former footballer and TV pundit Gary Lineker, Al Jazeera TV, the BBC and its reporters, and many others, and has in the past privately prosecuted the satirical singer, Alison Chabloz, whose case was then taken over officially by the CPS.

Private prosecutions can be taken over by the CPS either on its own initiative or upon application by either the private prosecutors or the defendant(s). The CPS can then either stop the prosecution, or take it over and continue it officially.

The “CAA” seems to have had plenty of money donated to it, either by wealthy Jews in the UK, or from Israel. Indeed, their latest “lawfare” abuse follows on from their long-running attempt to recruit a competent lawyer as “General Counsel” (they love important titles— “Slitherman” is called “Director of Investigations and Enforcement”…):

The “CAA” usually tries (as in my own free speech trial) to use/abuse the notorious “bad law” of Communications Act 2003, s.127, which was recommended for repeal by the Law Commission, but which (so far) remains on the statute book mainly because Jew-Zionist organizations (principally the “CAA”) made representations, via “friendly” MPs and corrupt members of the House of Lords, to the effect that the provision should not be repealed (during the quite recent passage of the Online Harms Act).

This type of “lawfare” should be prohibited. It is a flagrant abuse of the English legal system.

Incidentally, the “two Israelis” mentioned in the report of the Daily Mail are the two dishonest Jew-Zionist fanatics mentioned in the blog posts above, in fact, that is “Mark Lewis Lawyer” and Mandy Blumenthal (his wife/carer), acting together with Daily Mail scribbler Sabrina Miller to create a contrived “incident”.

It is pretty clear why the abusive and malicious “CAA” cabal is now trying once more to bring private prosecutions. The police and CPS are now, more than heretofore, aware of the CAA’s “lawfare” abuse, and are less and less willing to take the contrived “CAA” complaints at face value. Ergo, with the CPS and even the fairly clueless police unwilling to be used as “CAA” puppets, the “CAA” has had to shift for itself.

Successful defendants to private prosecutions have the right to ask for the costs of their defence, which may be, in some cases, very substantial, by the way.

That made me laugh. Liz Truss is ancient history, politically (in the real Britain outside John Rentoul’s Westminster Bubble). I doubt that many voters care about any similarity between Farage’s economic views and those of already-near-forgotten Liz Truss.

As for whether the (non-existent) “books” or statistics “add up”, the people have had so much of all that nonsense wash over them for 15-20 years that it makes little or no impact.

People want to stamp on both Labour and Conservative parties. They know in their hearts that those System parties have to go, whatever the flaws of Farage and his Reform UK party.

It is not a pro-Farage vote, or even pro-Reform vote, as such, but neither is it a “protest vote”. Not 100% accurate. I was not imprisoned after my free speech trial ended in conviction in November 2023 (sentence passed in March 2024). I was not even given a suspended sentence. I was given a financial penalty (fine and costs) amounting to about £740, and a “community order” of 15 “rehabilitation days” over 9 months, which in the end was finished (effectively though not officially) after about 5 months, and which basically consisted in my having about 6 or 7 chats (from 20 minutes to over 2 hours in duration, mostly about 30 minutes or so) with a rather charming and polite young lady from the Probation Service.

Something for the Israelis to worry about.

Clacton and Reform UK

The System is now getting very worried about the level of support being shown even for Reform UK, a basically small-c conservative-type party. The anti-Reform UK rhetoric is now close to that displayed in the past against more social-national parties such as the BNP and, further back still, the National Front.

The System thinking must be, “if even Reform UK can be so disruptive, how more so would be a credible and genuinely social-national party?“

That anti-Reform UK propaganda is broadcast as Reform UK reaches heights of popular support few thought that it would or could reach.

Some polls are putting Reform UK as high as 20%, and all are putting it well above 15%, the average now being around 17%.

Meanwhile, support for the Conservative Party has dropped to as low as 18%, and may go even lower. I have just yesterday heard admittedly anecdotal evidence that, in my own local area (in coastal Hampshire, and one of the most heavily-Con in England), lifelong Con voters are planning to vote anywhere other than Con or Labour. Many, perhaps most (?), are switching to Reform UK, and some to the LibDems.

I was just looking at my blog from about 8 or 9 months ago. I thought then that Reform UK would get a nationwide popular vote of at least 15% and, at the outside, 20%. Seems that I was right (so far).

Estimates of the number of MPs Reform UK might have by 5 July 2024, i.e. once the votes are counted, range from 1 or 2 to as many as 22. A few Reform UK optimists are doubling or even tripling that. It seems very open, with less than a week to go.

I doubt whether the Channel 4 undercover silliness will change the minds of many people planning to vote Reform UK, as witness the tweets below:

In any case, Channel 4 News is only seen by a small minority of people. I doubt that more than a few hundred of the voters of Clacton will have even seen the “expose”. In any case, the main person shown was merely a volunteer. It may even be that some people will be more inclined to vote for Reform after having seen the Channel 4 piece. You never know.

There is also the point that postal voting has already taken place. Many of the older and/or disabled British voters, as at Clacton, will by now have voted.

Farage seems nailed-on to win at Clacton, as far as I can see. The Conservative Party candidate has not even been seen (by me anyway) on TV or online, while the young African standing as Labour MP has apparently been redeployed to help another Labour candidate, in the West Midlands, and has thus left the field of battle at Clacton.

I can only suppose that Starmer decided that only the Con candidate had any chance of beating Farage, having scored 72.3% in 2019, so scaled back the Labour effort at Clacton to zero for nakedly tactical reasons.

Also, the fact that Labour deliberately chose an African for its candidate at Clacton, of all places, would be likely to prompt a surge in support for Reform UK. Anyway, he’s gone elsewhere, and will probably not be seen at Clacton until the count on Election Night. I still think that he might lose his deposit.

As blogged previously, while I am not a Reform UK supporter, as such, its existence moves the “Overton Window” a bit, at the very least, and will help to break down the “two main parties” scam.

The public’s view of the mostly System politicians is not favourable. Even Starmer, on the crest of his “popularity by default”, is only viewed favourably by just over a third of voters.

Look at Sunak. Only 19%, the same as the Conservative Party. I begin to wonder whether previously undecided voters will actually start to pile in against the Conservative Party now, or at the last minute, thus reducing the Conservative vote to somewhere below that 19%, maybe as low as 16%. We shall know in 6 days’ time.

I tend to agree, up to a point, with that last tweeter. Yes, the Cons are doomed, but look at what the Labour Party now is! In fact, and by my use of Electoral Calculus, it may be that, were Reform UK to poll at 24%, only 3 points higher than in this latest poll, Reform could edge the LibDems out of second place, which would mean Reform UK as the official Opposition, and Farage as Leader of the Opposition! Were that to happen, I should have to eat my words of a year or two ago (dismissing him as not such an effective politician despite his oratorical and mass media skills).

We shall soon know.

Labour chooses suicide

The Labour Party thinks that all it has to do to win a general election is to wait for Boris-idiot and his government of fools to mess up. Well, there is some basis for that, as witness the latest opinion polling, but it is probably more accurate to say that the two parties are converging in the polls, but that all that is happening is that the Conservative Party is reverting to a slight lead over Labour.

When one looks at Labour Friends of Israel Keir Starmer and Angela Rayner bending the knee in fealty to the anti-British mob, it becomes impossible to see them as leading a government.

In 2019, the misnamed “Conservatives” did not gain many voters (contrary to the msm narrative); their vote increased by only one percentage point vis a vis 2017. Labour, however, lost eight points vis a vis 2017. Half of those Labour losses were former Labour voters simply abstaining.

A major reason why Labour failed in 2019 is because very many English and Welsh people thought of it as anti-white. I doubt that Labour can get back from that. Politics is becoming polarized, partly on racial lines but more on racial-cultural lines.

The present government is plainly incompetent, but I doubt that Labour can persuade the voters that it can be trusted either.

My conclusion from the above is that the British people are crying out for social-national leadership, though largely unconsciously.

As far as the UK is concerned, Coronavirus is now almost in the past. What is not in the past is the damage done (by “lockdown”/shutdown) to the economy. To say that is not to prioritize “money” before “people”. Countries without functioning economies cannot maintain sophisticated or even adequate health services (and if you think that Cuba proves otherwise, look more closely at Cuba).

I should imagine that, overall, Nelson Mandela did a great deal more harm in this world than the Bristol merchant and slave-trader Edward Colston.

By the way, when Mandela, who had been (somewhat) educated as a lawyer, turned to direct political violence in the mid-1950s, he was no naive young man. He was nearly 40 years old. In fact he failed his LLB (law degree) three times and only finally passed it in 1988, when he was a celebrity prisoner aged 70.

Incidentally, Mandela was not sent to Robben Island for “political activism”, but for conspiring to start a race war and for conspiring to commit sabotage etc. In the UK today, he would be convicted of terrorist offences on similar facts.

Most of the defence advocates for the several defendants were Jews.

At the end of the trial (which took 8 months), Mandela was allowed to make a 3 hour speech! Try that in a British court! So much for Mandela having been chucked into prison after an unjust show trial…

I had previously assumed (for several reasons) that this person must be Jew or part-Jew (despite the “Irish” surname), but this tweet puzzled me.

Admittedly, I am probably not very deeply informed about Jewish dietary rules (they call them kashrut), but my understanding is that oats, being vegetable, are what Jews call parev, i.e. neither dairy produce nor meat.

Surely “milk” made from oats is still parev, however like real milk it is? In any case, I had thought that anything parev could be eaten with either meat or dairy produce, so long as those two were themselves not mixed. I expect that I am missing something (or was the tweet a kind of joke?). (and why am I wasting time on this? I think that I need some breakfast myself…).

Now (Friday evening) I have just heard Cressida Dick, Common Purpose member and Commissioner of Metropolitan Police, say that those [i.e. “Black Lives Matter” non-whites and “Antifa” idiots and thugs] planning to come to London tomorrow to “protest” [i.e. deface and/or tear down statues of historical personalities] should not come to London because there are those “intent on disorder” [white British people —mainly, overwhelmingly— intent on defending their history, culture and civilization from untermenschen and/or the mob].

The inference is clear: the Metropolitan Police Commissioner is basically on the side of the mob, of the untermenschen, of the traitors. The mob are those merely “protesting”, the defenders of Britain are those “intent on disorder”. She just wants the “de-legitimizing” of the British people —and European bloodlines— to be done without [white] “disorder”…

The ordinary police are just tools, and are under the command now of subversives posing as “senior police officers”.

Where Hitchens is at least on the right track is in noticing that the new revolutionary party (if one emerges) and its victory can be, I hope will be, both social and national; it needs to be both.
