Diary Blog, 2 April 2025, including a few thoughts about Allison Pearson, Katie Hopkins, the couple from the Hertfordshire “Borshch Belt”, and free speech in the UK

Morning music

Talking point

Quite. Look at the Allison Pearson case. Oh, wasn’t she shocked when the police came to her door and questioned her about a few online comments. Yes, shocked. She put all her outrage in her next newspaper column scribblings, and the “usual suspects” in the “free speech” milieu all formed up to march behind her— Toby Young, the “Free Speech Union” he put together, the Spectator, the Daily Telegraph, the Daily Mail etc.

As a matter of fact, I myself think that the police behaved outrageously in that instance.

Where, though, was Allison Pearson when others suffered from similar or worse behaviour at the hands of the police and those behind the police, and indeed Crown Prosecution Service (CPS), who have wormed their way into positions of influence, sometimes having suborned those stupid “elected” Police and Crime Commissioners brought in a decade ago by David Cameron-Levita.

Much of such backstairs manipulation can be lain at the door of the very malicious Jew-Zionist org known as the “Campaign Against Antisemitism” or “CAA”, a pro-Israel pressure group (effectively a volunteer arm of the Israeli Embassy in London) whose self-styled “Director of Investigations and Enforcement”…well, let’s just call him “Slitherman”…is not infrequently to be found broadcasting his lies and propaganda on the “usually, no-one watches” Talk TV and GB News and even, sometimes, on Sky News.

At the foot of this part of the blog can be found a few blog articles detailing some of my own experiences. First, though, let us look at Allison Pearson’s [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Allison_Pearson] experience.

Jew haters tweet“[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Allison_Pearson#%22Jew_haters%22_tweet]

[“In November 2024, Pearson was visited at home by Essex Police asking her to undergo a voluntary interview after a complaint that she had incited racial hatred with a tweet posted in November 2023. During a period of scrutiny on British policing of pro-Palestinian protests during the Gaza war, Pearson had posted a photo of Greater Manchester Police officers standing besides supporters of former Pakistani Prime Minister Imran Khan‘s Pakistan Tehreek-e-Insaf party waving the party’s flag. However, despite the flag including the word “Pakistan”, she called the flagbearers “Jew haters” and misidentified the officers as Metropolitan Police officers, citing an incident where that service had not met with an Israeli-advocacy group. These errors were corrected by a Community Note and Pearson deleted the tweet.[15][16]

After the visit, Pearson wrote a Telegraph column criticising the incident and saying that the police had said it was a non-crime hate incident. Essex Police reported The Daily Telegraph to the Independent Press Standards Organisation, saying that it had body camera footage proving that they had never said it was a non-crime hate incident.[15][16]

Suzanne Moore writing about the incident and its implications in The Telegraph likened the Police’s treatment of Pearson to Ruhollah Khomeini‘s Fatwa against Sir Salman Rushdie in the wake of the Satanic Verses controversy.”]

[Wikipedia]

You see from that Wikipedia article that Allison Pearson criticized people as “Jew-haters“. She herself is not Jew, or even (as far as I can see) “part-” or “crypto”. A provincial scribbler by origin, who blagged a poor 2:2 in English at university and, as “journalist”, gets most of her facts wrong.

Allison Pearson has made common cause with the “CAA” snoopers and “lawfare” abusers. She said nothing when the Jewish lobby abused law and professional regulation to have me wrongfully and unlawfully disbarred in 2016; neither did she speak up for me when I was on trial for writing this blog (on trial in late 2023, sentenced in March 2024).

The police have been at my door about 5 or 6 times since 2013, always because some Jew or other has made up a contrived complaint. See the blog articles posted below. A few telephone calls too. The last time was only about a year ago, when some policeman at the door confronted me with Twitter/X posts, which (apart from the language used, which never could have been from me) were from, I think, 2024, and I have not posted on Twitter/X since I was permanently “suspended (expelled) in 2018, when —once again— a pack of Jews combined to “complain” about me.

Seems that the police (posing as a poundland KGB or Stasi) think that I am the only Ian Millard in the world, or in the UK, or posting online. Are they really so ineffective and unthinking? No wonder (real) crime is exploding.

Allison Pearson has also never said a word supporting other victims of Jew-Zionist lawfare, such as Alison Chabloz (imprisoned for posting satirical songs and cartoons), Jez Turner of the now-defunct London Forum (imprisoned for making a short speech in Whitehall saying that Jews should be removed from the UK), or Sam Melia of Patriotic Alternative (imprisoned for distributing completely lawful stickers).

The same is true of other controlled opposition types—Toby Young, the Free Speech Union, GB News, Talk TV, Farage, “Prison Planet” Watson, Matt Goodwin etc, not to forget Katie Hopkins herself…

Ms. Hopkins has never said a word in support of me (or any of those others mentioned).

The first test of that will be the by-election at Runcorn and Helsby on 1 May 2025, i.e. 4 weeks this Thursday.

Only total dummies are going to vote foe Starmer-stein’s fake Labour, but there are plenty of dummies out there, especially in the North of England where many vote Labour automatically, even today (because their great-grandfather always voted Labour…).

Leaving dummies of that sort aside, though, who will vote Labour now? Pensioners? Hardly! The young (under-30s)? Doubtful. Anyone on any State benefits? Very doubtful.

Not that Con is any sort of alternative, now that Labour is doing what the “Conservatives” used to do, and worse…

Shadow Chancellor Mel Stride wants to ditch the Triple Lock on State Pensions, so the over-60s voting “Conservative” would be turkeys voting for Christmas.

Reform is really the only game in town in the by-election, if one were to take seriously the “democratic” Schauspiel.

London. Zoo. More so…

I find it hard to believe that any or many would vote Lib, Lab, or Con after the past 15-25 years…

These latest figures would translate to a Commons with 223 Con MPs, 170 Reform, 130 Labour, 56 LibDem (SNP 43 etc). Underwhelming. Con minority govt. (supported by Reform?).

Still, would be good to see so many “Labour” careerists culled.

Among those kicked out would be that horrid little bastard Stephen Kinnock, Angela Rayner, Mary Creagh, Ed Miliband, Wes Streeting, Rachel Reeves, Liz Kendall, Sarah Champion, Kim Leadbeater, Torsten Bell, Lisa Nandy (it just gets better!), and Emma Reynolds.

https://www.electoralcalculus.co.uk/userpoll.html

However, showing how volatile now is the public mood, another poll has just been released:

That one would mean Lab 197 MPs, Reform 194, Cons 141 (etc), so maybe a minority Reform government.

What is holding back Reform is that it is not social-national, just conservative-national.

Aux armes, citoyens!

If Ukraine is defeated, that money will disappear. And the Russian army will destroy all foreign forces that find themselves on the territory of Ukraine. All those soldiers will be dead. All that will remain is to count their bodies After the summit of the “coalition of the willing (to help Kiev)” held in Paris on March 27, French President Emmanuel Macron said that several members of the coalition plan to send “deterrence forces” to Ukraine. As he emphasized, these forces, which will operate under the direction of Paris and London, will allegedly not replace Ukrainian troops and will not become peacekeepers. Their task will be to contain Russia, and they will be deployed in strategic locations agreed in advance with Kiev.“]

Exactly the same as Apes. This is an attack on the nuclear family.“]

At first, I thought that that tweet from Zoe Williams was uncharacteristically sensible, but soon realized that this is a different Zoe Williams, not the very silly Guardian scribbler [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Zoe_Williams].

Repression spreads across Western Europe

https://www.telegraph.co.uk/world-news/2025/04/02/germany-could-ban-far-right-politicians-running-for-office/

“Germany could ban far-Right politicians from running for office. Draft agreement seeks to ensure convicted extremists from parties such as the AfD cannot contest elections.

Far-Right politicians in Germany could be banned from running for office under plans by the incoming government, echoing a decision in France to block Marine Le Pen from a presidential bid…

[Daily Telegraph]

Well, there it is. NWO/ZOG cabals are planning to remove even the fig-leaf of “democracy”.

Of course, “convicted” is but a (not-very-cunning) lie. All that that means is that the System will ensure that troublesome dissidents are indeed convicted, under some or another repressive anti-free-speech “law” or other. Then, abracadabra!, they are barred from standing in elections in the supposedly “free” countries.

Well, if implemented (whether in Germany, in France, or elsewhere) that will only leave action directe as a way forward, as President Kennedy noted about 65 years ago…

A nuclear (?) attack on Iran? That would put the whole international order, as it now is, into the hazard. Anything could happen.

Seems my thoughts are echoed quite widely.

Those American aircraft carriers are incredible, both in themselves and as global power-projection tools. I once met an American carrier commander in the Caribbean. He and his wife were on leave. A funny little man to look at, a bit like the Penguin in the 1960s TV series, Batman, he carried his rank and responsibility lightly. I used to have a few drinks with them once the sun was going down.

Diary Blog, 31 March 2025, including material about Starmer, Labour, Macron, and Marine le Pen

Morning music

Starmer-stein and the Labour (Friends of Israel) misgovernment

So Starmer, with a potentially disastrous by-election (Runcorn and Helsby, 1 May 2025) coming down the track, is suddenly making meaningless “tough” noises about immigration gangs etc.

One thing is sure: the migration-invasion will not be stopped by such measures, even if implemented.

As far as Starmer is concerned, both as “world leader” or “statesman” (in his own little mind), he has, so far, managed to alienate both Russia and the USA, as well as 90% or more of the British people.

Marine le Pen and French “democracy”

Macron is widely despised. This judicial outrage is nakedly political, and has the aim of preventing Marine le Pen from standing as a (probably successful) Presidential candidate in 2027, and is aimed, beyond that, at keeping France under NWO/ZOG control.

The French people have overthrown tyrants in the past. Perhaps the time has come for a new French Revolution.

Remove Macron. He does not represent France but only NWO/ZOG.

Incidentally, I assessed Macron on the blog six years ago:

Very true, Goodwin, but one-sided. Ask the Jews in the UK, too.

The reference is to members or supporters of the malicious Jew-Zionist pro-Israel org known as the “Campaign Against Antisemitism” or “CAA”, effectively a volunteer arm of the Israeli Embassy in London, which org has managed to influence or suborn the police and CPS (in some cases).

Study the polls and see why Farage and Reform genuinely have a chance to govern.

Public put the Reform leader top in ‘best PM’ poll

Nothing is sticking. New polling for The Telegraph by Ipsos reveals that when asked who would do a “good job as prime minister”, Farage comes out on top on 28 per cent. Keir Starmer is one per cent behind, and Ed Davey two per cent. Badenoch is languishing at 18 per cent, her step-by-step approach to formulating a new set of Tory policies failing to register with voters who are still not listening to the “natural party of government”.

I went through the Ipsos numbers with Ben Butcher, our data editor, who identified just why Labour and the Conservatives should be worried.

“Labour is widely seen to be the party of the elite, with Reform trouncing Starmer with the C2DE and lower-paid respondents,” Butcher told me. The “red wall” is there for Reform’s taking, with the party polling well ahead of Labour amongst non-graduates.

“Ain’t nothing in the middle of the road but yellow stripes and dead armadillos,” said the American politician, Jim Hightower. As Davey attacks from the soft centre, Reform outflanks the Tories from the other side. The Conservative leader is on a perilous downslope, her skis pulling in different directions. Farage beats Badenoch with older voters, the working-class and lower paid people on the question of who would do a good job as Prime Minister.

Let’s fix broken Britain,” Farage told 10,000 people in Birmingham. “I’m not mucking about.” The old parties that once commanded the comfortable heights of majority support are very clear that he is not.

Only real social nationalism can save Britain, and Europe.

We know in our hearts what we have to do. We may have to steel ourselves, and take on karmic guilt, in order to do what has to be done, as Krishna counselled Arjuna, before the battle at Kurukshetra, and as recounted in the Bhagavad-gita.

[“I cannot remember the last time I saw six police officers together in Britain. But here they are, arresting two parents, in front of their children, for complaining about their local school in a Whatsapp group. Britain is completely and utterly lost. It used to be the home of individual liberty; now it’s morphing before our very eyes into an Orwellian nightmare. We need a political revolution to restore common sense. And we need it now.“]

https://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-14548379/Father-complained-teacher-recruitment-process-parents-WhatsApp-group-arrested-harassment-interrogated-11-HOURS.html

The repression on free speech and freedom of expression has been spearheaded by the Jew-Zionist or pro-Israel tendency, mainly.

Look at a few of my own experiences as “they” have tried to repress my free speech over the past 15 years and particularly since 2014:

Incidentally, Matt Goodwin, who seems to support the Jew-Zionist lobby, has never said a word in support of my free speech rights. Neither has Goodwin said anything to support persecuted satirical singer Alison Chabloz, imprisoned for posting songs and cartoons online; Goodwin never said a word on her behalf. Same goes for Jez Turner, imprisoned for making a brief speech in Whitehall (calling for the deportation of Jews from the UK).

It is suspicious that the Sun comic gives Goodwin (and Farage) a mass platform; TV shows do, as well. Would I ever be given such platforms? No.

Goodwin’s latest: https://www.mattgoodwin.org/p/britain-is-completely-lost-my-thoughts.

As you can see, not one mention by Goodwin on his blog of the Jew-Zionist lobby that is the main driver of censorship and repression of free speech in the UK; notably the malicious “Campaign Against Antisemitism” or “CAA”, whose so-called (self-titled) “Director of Investigations and Enforcement” was once exposed in open court, and by the CAA’s own bungling solicitor, as a vicious and perverse social media troll, targeting mainly women, and doing so pseudonymously.

That unpleasant nuisance still holds that (I presume, paid) role, and appears on joke TV stations such as GB News, Talk TV etc, as well as, occasionally, on Sky News. He even turned up to gloat at my free speech trial (which his own persistent backstairs manipulation of the stupid/ignorant police and CPS Wessex had procured), as well as at the later sentencing hearing. He quickly scuttled off, however, after my sentence (which he later described online as “absurdly lenient“) was pronounced. See my blog posts of 16 March 2024 and 17 March 2024 for more detail.

Sam Melia of Patriotic Alternative was imprisoned for distributing stickers, the content of which even the prosecution at his trial conceded was lawful.

Support for Melia, Turner, Alison Chabloz —or me— from Goodwin, Toby Young, Katie Hopkins etc? Nil.

The long-term Jew-Zionist attempts to criminalize “holocaust” “denial” (examination of the ever-less-credible stories around the repression of Jews in the mainland Europe of the early 1940s) have become a general strategy to criminalize any and all criticism of Jewish behaviour, or Israeli war crimes etc.

Likewise, we have seen how the plodding UK police, while failing at their proper job most of the time, enthusiastically tried to reinvent themselves as a poundshop KGB or Stasi during the “Covid” panicdemic/scamdemic of 2020-2022. Those dissidents pointing out the absurdity of shutting down the economy and society because of a virus that was actually killing hardly anybody were hounded and, in some cases, even arrested. They were labelled “Covidiots” and/or “Covid deniers

Some fanatics even wanted those sceptical of “climate change” orthodoxy to be criminalized. They too are called “climate change deniers“…

Starmer-stein’s fake Labour-label regime seems to be going even further.

That evil fraud should have been put up against a wall years ago.

The Kiev regime no longer tries to invent victories, advances etc. Russian forces are advancing steadily on all fronts.

If that lady (ex-wife of an ex-MP) thinks that the UK’s social fabric is “fine“, I really think that she should get out more…

I agree with her about Jenrick though (albeit for other reasons). He is a horrible little pissant, completely in hock (probably literally) to the Jew-Zionist/Israel lobby.

Re. that ex-officer and ex-MP:

“Party defection and expulsion

In 2004, Gordon-Banks switched party allegiance to the Liberal Democrats, joining the party’s Executive Committee in Moray, Scotland.[6][7]

Gordon-Banks was suspended from the Liberal Democrats in 2016 after an antisemitic Twitter tweet: “Farron’s leadership campaign was organised and funded by London Jews” and “I am glad I never had to represent a constituency with a significant Jewish community because [they] are all bloody hard work“. Marie van der Zyl, Vice President of the Board of Deputies of British Jews, said, “The comments by Matthew Gordon Banks on Twitter are of very deep concern. He talks about Jews and money and hints at the age-old canard of the ‘Jewish conspiracy’. He must urgently clarify and apologise for his comments, otherwise, we would expect the Liberal Democrat Party to invoke disciplinary procedures.[1][8]

[Wikipedia]

[“This is how absolutely INSANE this case this. This is what the local Member of Parliament said today: “I have constituents getting in contact with me saying their house has been burgled and the police have not turned up, or they have watched shoplifters come in and take things off the shelf, and police will not come. Now it appears Hertfordshire police were able to send six officers for parents’ comments on a WhatsApp group and emails to the school”. And now, we also learn today that the local police who staged this arrest warned off DEMOCRATICALLY ELECTED local councillors from getting involved in the case. Outrageous. What has happened to our country? As I say here, this is not simply a freak case, an unusual outlier. No, it is merely the latest symbol of our country’s major and growing free speech crisis. This is, at its core, about freedom. Whether you believe we are a free nation with free speech, free expression and the right to question authorities, or you don’t.“]

Toytown police state becoming a real police state…

[I am 43 years old. I cannot recall a time in my life when I have been as depressed about the state of Britain and England —a country I love—as I am today.

Here are 5 things that happened in the last week alone that point to the terrible future that awaits our once great country unless we urgently and radically change course.

1. In the political system, a group of MPs, many of whom preside over disadvantaged neighbourhoods here in Britain, decided to lobby instead for an airport in … Pakistan … to please their Muslim constituents, thereby continuing to usher in a dark and dangerous sectarianism into our politics that was further reflected this week in the election of “independent” local candidates campaigning not on issues central to Britain but … Palestine. We are heading, slowly but surely, toward a model of sectarian politics that looks more like Lebanon than Britain.

2. In the legal system, a remote, unelected, unaccountable and self-righteous ‘Sentencing Council’ refused a request from elected government ministers to change guidelines that will entrench a two-tier legal system, whereby people from racial, sexual and gender minorities will be treated more favourably than others when handing out prison sentences, thereby violating the principle that everybody in this country should be treated equally before the law

3. In the judicial system, police decided to arrest two parents whose only ‘offence’ was to complain about their local school in a WhatsApp group, with the Orwellian school and police authorities both prioritising the ‘emotional safety’ of a few fragile teachers over the need to uphold free speech and individual liberty in this country.

4. In the immigration system, meanwhile, we learned that 6,000 illegal migrants have now arrived on our shores on small boats in the first three months of this year, 40% up on last year, with crossings happening every day this past week, taking the total since 2018 to 157,000 illegal migrants who are costing struggling British taxpayers upwards of £7 BILLION a year. This isn’t only breaking our laws but is throwing full light on the total incompetence and inability of our politicians and the UK state to control our own borders, keep our own people safe, and maintain our status as a sovereign nation.

5. And in the economy, lastly, this week we learned that our hapless rulers in Westminster are now more interested in helping foreign nationals and illegal migrants than their own people, with a Spring Statement from the Chancellor confirming they are more focused on slashing welfare and support for British pensioners, workers, and farmers, who come from these islands and whose ancestors have contributed to these islands for centuries, than they are on slashing the BILLIONS these same British taxpayers are now being forced to spend subsidising foreigners, illegal migrants, foreign criminals, our broken asylum system, and foreign aid which is still being used to support the likes of eco-farms in Nepal, obese children in China, and LGBT campaigns overseas.

Sorry, but enough is enough. The people in power, the people who are presiding over these disastrous decisions, really need to start thinking about where all this is going, where all this is pushing us as a people and a nation.

Because it’s increasingly clear, to me at least, that the eventual destination will be a very dangerous, dark and divided place indeed. There is a total lack of strong leadership in this country. We need to change course, now. We need to start putting the British people first, now. And we need to start radically reforming the entire political, legal, judicial and economic system, now. Because unless we do then we are all heading into very serious trouble.“]

[Matt Goodwin]

Well, I am now 68, and I say the same, or similar.

Only social nationalism can save Britain and all Europe.

Exterminate evil, then build a state which can be a foundation for a better society and ethnostate and, developing over long periods of time, an eventual super-race.

Diary Blog, 14 March 2025, with latest opinion polling and comment on the Runcorn and Helsby by-election

Morning music

Starmer-stein is out of his depth. Useless in every way. Personally, I do not care whether Trump comes to the UK or not, but (as with Tony Blair and others) it is just pathetic to see what poodles British prime ministers are when it comes to the USA (and Israel).

[“No, wait! I voted Labour in 2024!” cried the poor mug as Liz Kendall, Rachel Reeves, and Keir Starmer-stein ordered the execution by stealth of the old, sick, and disabled]

Not sure I agree with all of that, but certainly agree about the net zero and mass immigration aspects. I wonder whether Matt Goodwin is positioning himself to become leader of Reform UK and, therefore, potentially, Prime Minister by 2028 or 2029?

As to the Runcorn and Helsby by-election, it is now surely Reform UK’s to lose, looking at the utterly disastrous Starmer-stein Labour Friends of Israel misgovernment. I have already covered the by-election on the blog:

Incidentally, Lord Ashcroft or his employees should learn to spell: “likelihood” is not spelled “likelyhood“.

That opinion poll is interesting, though. Labour support in the constituency seems to have almost halved since the 2024 General Election. In a way, however, the fact that a third of Runcorn and Helsby voters are still inclined to stick with fake “Labour” despite both the thuggishness of the former MP and the actions of Starmer-stein’s useless and unpleasant government says something, arguende, about the intelligence or nous of the average voter!

The fact is that the Conservative Party has no chance in that constituency anyway, so the way for Con or former Con supporters to stick it to Labour and/or Starmer-stein is to vote Reform.

As for disenchanted Labour or former Labour voters, they can protest against Starmer-stein’s and Rachel Reeves’ (and Liz Kendall’s) utter betrayal of everything for which “Labour” used to stand by voting Reform or, failing that, or if they cannot countenance that, by just staying home, abstaining from voting.

Incidentally, I just saw a Daily Mirror report about Kiev-regime drone strikes on Moscow yesterday or overnight. It included the classic error that one Ukrainian drone had hit an oil refinery near Moscow, “only 55 miles” from Putin’s palace on the Black Sea. Well, the nearest place —let alone palace— on the Black Sea from Moscow is about 865 miles away. The “British” msm is just full of absolute bs.

I agree with that tweet, but I also agree with this:

At present, the UK is importing about a million so-called “legal” immigrants every year, as well as 50,000-100,000 illegal ones. There is no indication that Starmer-stein, “Rachel from Accounts” Reeves, or Liz Kendall see any of that as the existential peril for our society that it is.

As for Rachel Reeves’ idea of building millions of hutches for people (many of them migrant-invaders): first of all, who will build those “houses”, in a situation where even poorly-trained artisans are in short supply? Secondly, few will be able to afford to buy or even rent the dwellings. Most will be subsidized. How will that save government money, or much stimulate the general economy?

More pathetic System-drone bs, in other words.

The above half-dozen tweets all relate to the libel action won by the tweeter, James Wilson, an academic from the North East of England, who won against a swamp of dishonest Jew-Zionist lawyers and perjuring or “unreliable” witnesses (every last one a Jew-Zionist).

Simon Myerson was a witness for the defence in that case. Myerson, a barrister based in Leeds, was later sacked as a part-time judge for other reasons, at least officially (his malicious and vituperative tweets and other social media comments). In the case in question here, Myerson’s testimony was given very little, if any, weight by the trial judge.

As for the defendants, one, a vicious pro-Israel social media troll called Pete Newbon, committed suicide before the trial had ended, he having failed to inform his wife that the libel case was happening, and that their family home might be on the line.

Another defendant, one Cantor, was (as it appears) either negligently or, quite likely, deliberately misled by the Jew-Zionist solicitor and Israel-lobby political fanatic Mark Lewis. It seems that Cantor will now lose his family home by reason of Lewis’s default(s), in order to satisfy the court-ordered legal costs of the successful claimant, Wilson. Not that I personally have the slightest sympathy for Cantor or any similar individual.

I do not know, but it seems not unlikely that, the defendants or surviving defendants having now a legal obligation to pay Wilson’s costs (though they are but a fraction of those that would have been claimed by the lawyers of the defendants, had they succeeded at trial), those surviving defendants will almost certainly end up suing Lewis and probably also Patron Law, the mainly Jewish law firm (based in a mews side-street in Notting Hill, West London), which is Lewis’s legal foothold in England (he is now, and has been since 2018, an Israeli citizen supposedly living in Eilat, Israel).

Good grief! Can you imagine that drunken and/or drugged and/or crazed shambles negotiating with Putin, or Zelensky, or Netanyahu?

There really is something wrong with the allegedly “democratic” process, both in the USA and the UK, when some creature like Kamala Harris can become Vice-President, and nearly become President, of the USA. In the UK, look at David Lammy, Angela Rayner, and most of the rest of Starmer-stein’s Cabinet.

Even after the past 15 years of chaotic mismanagement, the government of Starmer-stein is something else…Look at them! “Rachel from Accounts” Reeves, Liz Kendall, Angela Rayner (!), David Lammy (!), Yvette Cooper etc. Starmer-stein himself. What a crowd of cretins!

Good news. I hope the Kazakhs are following suit.

There are some enterprises, some kinds of economic enterprise, that should be in public ownership: water companies, major rail services, large-scale electricity production and distribution, large-scale domestic-use gas production and distribution; some other activities.

Some other things, relating to the State and/or wider society, should also be run by the State itself, or by a quasi-State authority: Royal Mail, prisons, National Lottery; some others as well.

Incidentally, her remark about Lord Hamilton [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Archie_Hamilton] relates to this: https://www.theguardian.com/politics/2025/mar/05/conservative-peer-accused-of-using-antisemitic-tropes-in-lords-debate.

What a difference a year makes…

Alert regular readers of the blog may have noted that it is exactly a year (14 March 2024) since I was sentenced as a result of my free speech trial in November 2023.

Amazing. A whole year has elapsed since the sentence, and about 16 months since the trial itself. I repost my accounts of the trial, sentence, and aftermath here below:

I was able to continue blogging right through the process, and am still blogging almost every day, about 25-30 times per month.

As previously explained, I am under no greater legal constraint now than I was in 2024, 2023, 2022 (etc).

I have no doubt that the malicious Jew-Zionist element will continue to try to destroy the freedom of speech and expression not only of me but also of all British and other people. However, one must stand up for free speech and expression.

As far as I am concerned, “one human soul is a big audience“.

Rather noble. I have not been to Slovakia, though I have been through the part of Moravia (part of the neighbouring Czech Republic) not too far to the west of what is now the border (when I was travelling through by car, 36 years ago, it was all one country— Czechoslovakia).

So that is what Robert Largan is now up to. He lost his MP status at the 2024 General Election: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/High_Peak_(UK_Parliament_constituency)#Elections_in_the_2020s. His previous job was as an accountant at Marks & Spencer: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Largan.

Largan has been volubly pro-Jew-Zionist and pro-Israel. As MP, and even before being elected in 2019, he frequently tweeted against those he considered “antisemitic”, including local resident and persecuted satirical singer-songwriter, Alison Chabloz. He tweeted a few times against me, too, if I recall aright.

I have no idea whether the trustee position about which Largan tweets is paid; I expect so. He does not seem to have taken on other work since he lost his Commons seat 5 months ago. However, the entire annual income of the organization is, apparently, less than £400,000, so any payment to trustees must be modest.

Seems that Israeli and U.S. “confidential contact”, Ruth Smeeth (now in the House of Lords) is or was another trustee of this organization. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ruth_Smeeth;

https://register-of-charities;charitycommission.gov.uk/en/charity-search/-/charity-details/3981970/trustees.

Others connected with that organization are Luke Akehurst, now an MP, and sinister former MP, “Lord” Ian Austin (search for my previous comments about him via the search box on the blog). https://antisemitism.org.uk/group-members/.

Having just looked at Largan’s Twitter/X timeline for the first time in months, I notice that its tenor is that of a politician still (local elections, local events, Westminster occurrences). Can it be that he hopes to be the Conservative Party candidate for High Peak next time? That is how it looks to me.

Largan, seemingly now resident within the constituency, will have an uphill climb if he wants to get elected again at High Peak. He won High Peak in 2019 by only 1.1 points (590 votes) over Labour’s candidate, but lost in 2024 by 16.1 points (7,908 votes).

In 2024, Reform UK came in a fairly respectable third, but Labour got more votes (just) than Conservative and Reform put together. Reform can only do better, arguably, next time, and may either win or deny the Con candidate the win.

Looking at a few of his recent tweets, I find a few things on which I can agree with Largan: for example, his opinion that The Battle of the River Plate is a very good film indeed. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Battle_of_the_River_Plate.

I really dislike everything about Jeremy Clarkson.

Most attacks on free speech in the UK come from the Jewish/Zionist pro-Israel lobby, who have been making malicious complaints about me and many others for (in my case) at least 12 years.

That tweeter seems to be hostile to persons expressing anti-Zionist views.

Law requires” maybe, but not all laws are in use every day or at all. English law still has statutes nominally in force which are now never applied. No doubt Iranian laws are similar in that sense.

Announcement

According to what I have seen on Twitter/X, the young activist David R. Morgan (@david_r_morgan on Twitter/X) has been arrested by “anti-terror” police after complaints made by the (((usual))) troublemakers.

While I do not agree with everything he posts (manner rather than substance, though, in most cases), to be arrested merely for (as it seems) having posted some satirical cartoons etc would be yet another ludicrous misuse of police “anti-terror” powers in the UK.

Reminiscent of the persecution of satirical singer-songwriter Alison Chabloz and others in previous years.

If Britain ever has a real government, it will have to use some islands off the coast as its own, though hopefully less brutal, version of the Solovetsky Islands [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Solovetsky_Islands], so numerous are the enemies of our race, culture, and future.

Even that is but the tip of the iceberg. Most minor and some major crimes are never reported to the police, who in any case are often, maybe even usually, uninterested.

I have just finished A View from the Foothills: The Diaries of Chris Mullin, bought a while ago in paperback for about 20p from a supermarket charity shelf, and read slowly, a few pages a day, in the car.

In those diaries (quite interesting, but not as fascinating as the more famous ones of Alan Clark: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Alan_Clark#Diaries), Mullin recalls having visited the “anti-social behaviour” police in his own constituency; a pleasant enough group, but spending much if not all of their time in their office, rarely covering the ground where anti-social behaviour was actually happening.

That is what Jewish-lobby puppet Ian Austin (then MP, now “Lord” Ian Austin) tweeted long ago (now, I believe, deleted, unsurprisingly). Austin was also one of the worst expenses cheats.

A one-time “Labour” MP who accepted his “peerage” from “Boris” Johnson, another Israel-lobby puppet. A contrived “honour” which allows him to continue to receive money, both directly and indirectly.

For the sake of transparency, I should add that, in or about 2019, Austin also actually wrote to the then Director of Public Prosecutions on behalf of the malicious and tiny, though (((very well-funded))), “Campaign Against Antisemitism” [“CAA”] demanding that I be prosecuted for allegedly “antisemitic” tweets (I had a Twitter account until 2018).

Yes. Sadly.

Starmer is both overtly and covertly supported by Israel and its agents.

I have just watched part of a Sky News interview; Starmer interviewed by Beth Rigby.

Starmer was utterly pathetic as he was asked to define the “working people” his government and Rachel Reeves’ budget was intended to help. He said “in my mind’s eye” about 5 times even in the few minutes while I was watching and listening.

Starmer does not know what he is doing. A person both nasty and pathetic, as well as totally out of his depth.

Sometime about a decade ago, some newspaper or magazine referred to me as “the pro-Russian barrister Ian Millard“, but that, I thought, was far too broad to be libellous (it might have been said, to give just one example, merely to refer to my being interested in pre-revolutionary Russian literature, or Russian and Soviet orchestral and other music, which in fact do both apply to me).

I never seriously considered suing in defamation. In any event, I doubt whether such a suit could ever be successful, for a number of reasons. In fact, I took so little interest in the matter that I have forgotten where I saw the comment about me. I was looking for it recently, but had no success.

The US government is allegedly aware of this, but keeps the talks secret. It is reported that in the fall of 2022, political scientist Ian Bremmer said that Musk told him about his conversation with Putin and the Kremlin’s “red lines.” Another example cited is that in late 2023, the Kremlin asked Musk not to turn on Starlink over Taiwan – as a “favor” to Xi Jinping.

The overcrowded prisons, the aftermath of the recent protests, and about real criminals released early

There are nuances in the situation, and a few minor objections might be made to that amiable rant, but fundamentally he is right. Even the Guardian admits it: https://www.theguardian.com/society/article/2024/aug/17/fresh-uk-prisons-crisis-as-riots-lead-to-fears-of-overcrowding.

Basically, 1,000+ people have now been arrested following the recent protests and connected minor “riots” (or violent outbreaks) here and there.

Many of those people have been charged, and many of those have been remanded in custody, meaning put into prison until trial (which might be as long as a year or more later, unless fast-tracked). Those who have pleaded guilty so far mostly seem to have been imprisoned anyway.

The fact is that many (probably almost all) of those imprisoned, either pending trial or after having pleaded guilty, are not in any way, even in the lay sense, “dangerous”. Many have no previous convictions, and even those who do (and the sentences of which have been reported after guilty pleas) have convictions mainly for non-violent offences (shoplifting, drugs etc).

What Starmer, Yvette Cooper, and (absurdly) Shabana Mahmood, have done is to release known and active criminals early (many non-white, and after they have completed only 40% of their sentences), in order to free up space which is now being used to incarcerate English people who are, almost all, not active criminals.

Those released early under that scheme will, many of them, re-offend within a fairly short space of time, whereas relatively few of those arrested in the aftermath of the recent protests will re-offend at all, ever, and certainly not in terms of violent disorder. That of course applies even more to those arrested/charged/imprisoned because they merely made comments, justified or otherwise, on social media.

It is beginning to look very much as though Starmer, Yvette Cooper, and the ridiculous Shabana Mahmood (currently posing as “Lord Chancellor” and Secretary of State for Justice) have no idea what they are doing. To me, their over-reaction to the recent minor disorders that took place (by English people— those done by Roma Gypsies in Leeds, and Pakistanis in Birmingham etc, have gone largely unpunished) seems much like that of the Queen of Hearts in Alice’s Adventures in Wonderland: “Off with their heads!

[“Off with their heads!“]

Incidentally, was there ever a “Lord Chancellor” and Justice Secretary less qualified? A moot point after some in recent years, I concede. However, Shabana Mahmood is an absurd choice for the role. She was only at the practising Bar for a few months, if that (after a year of pupillage), and then worked as a salaried gopher in a firm of solicitors, and only for a couple of years: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Shabana_Mahmood#Early_life_and_career.

Shabana Mahmood’s entire legal career only lasted about 3-4 years.

She was probably appointed to placate the Pakistani Muslim element in the UK.

Pakistanis as such are now about 3% of the population; Muslims as a whole (many of which are also Pakistani but born in the UK) comprise 6% of the UK population now. Both anyway are significant voting blocs, and important in general political terms.

Kursk incursion

https://www.theguardian.com/world/article/2024/aug/18/zelenskiy-ukraine-shock-russia-offensive-incursion

Nearly early two weeks after its surprise incursion into Russia, Ukraine finds itself struggling to find a balance between seizing territory across the border in Kursk and losing it at the heart of the eastern front in central Donetsk.

On Friday, Ukraine’s commander-in-chief, Oleksandr Syrskyi, claimed advances were being made of up to two miles a day inside Russia, but Moscow’s forces have gained about three miles this month as the Kremlin bets heavily on capturing the hub of Pokrovsk.

In Pokrovsk, meanwhile, officials have stepped up civilian evacuations. Serhiy Dobryak, head of the city military administration, warned that Russian forces had “almost approached” the city and that alarm about its future was growing.

Until a year ago, Pokrovsk was considered safe enough to act as a regional base where journalists and aid workers could stay overnight. Its road and rail connections link the central city of Dnipro with Kramatorsk and Sloviansk. Capturing it would in effect cut the part of Donetsk oblast still in Ukrainian hands in two.

There are persistent rumours that Col Emil Ishkulov, the popular commander of Ukraine’s 80th brigade, now among those involved in the incursion into Kursk, was removed from his position at the end of July because he was opposed to the incursion into Russia – unsure his unit had the strength for the task. At the time, soldiers from the unit issued an unsuccessful public appeal for him to be reinstated.

Sumy, which has a population of about 250,000, has remained busy and lively in the summer heat, though the noise of explosions from Russian glide bombs in the distance stepped up over last week. Its hospitals, though, have been filling up with frontline casualties, and an appeals for blood donations went out to help treat wounded soldiers a week ago. It took an hour for the need to be met.

The city has also received about 4,000 people fleeing the agricultural villages in the area towards the border in the north, many of whom plan to rent apartments.

In the border zone, six miles from the boundary, meanwhile, only a tiny handful of civilians and little functioning infrastructure remain. One shop with smashed windows was still selling groceries, but most places were boarded up. An aid agency, Global Empowerment Mission, supplies nearly 26,000 food rations every month because market supplies are absent, visiting frontline villages every week to distribute to the remaining population.

[Guardian]

I recently examined this situation on the blog. My thoughts were that either Putin might push the incursion forces back using conventional military means, or blast the entire area from the air, destroying the Kiev-regime forces (as well as any unfortunate Russian and Ukrainian villagers still trying to live there).

Another possibility, less likely, would be a massive bombardment of either Kharkov or Kiev, using bombers and missiles.

Now, I have come to think that there is a fourth possibility, one which has roots in Russian and Soviet history.

When, as Tolstoy put it, in War and Peace, “the forces of Western Europe invaded Russia” in 1812 (the forces commanded by Napoleon were not all French, though about two-thirds were), the strategy adopted by the Russian leadership under Kutuzov, once he was appointed, was to withdraw and withdraw out of reach, while carrying out some limited flanking attacks and what we might now term “special operations”.

According to the preferred strategy, St. Petersburg, the capital, was protected both by troops and by distance, and so was never threatened by the Grande Armee. Moscow, however, was abandoned and set on fire.

Napoleon’s retreat from Moscow was famously disastrous, his armies all but destroyed by attritional flank attacks, cold, lack of food, and by disease.

Of the initial half million men, only about 100,000 made it back to France or other countries.

On 24 June 1812 and subsequent days, the initial wave of the multinational Grande Armée crossed the Niemen River, marking the entry from the Duchy of Warsaw into Russia.

Employing extensive forced marches, Napoleon rapidly advanced his army of nearly half a million individuals through Western Russia, encompassing present-day Belarus, in a bid to dismantle the disparate Russian forces led by Barclay de Tolly and Pyotr Bagration totaling approximately 180,000–220,000 soldiers at that juncture.[21][22]

Despite losing half of his men within six weeks due to extreme weather conditions, diseases and scarcity of provisions, Napoleon emerged victorious in the Battle of Smolensk. However, the Russian Army, now commanded by Mikhail Kutuzov, opted for a strategic retreat, employing attrition warfare against Napoleon compelling the invaders to rely on an inadequate supply system, incapable of sustaining their vast army in the field.

[Wikipedia]

In the German invasion and war of 1941-1945, the Wehrmacht advanced to within sight of central Moscow, but were then held and pushed back. Stalin was unwilling to abandon Moscow, the capital, for reasons of morale and administration.

However, elsewhere in European Russia, the Stavka (high command) allowed the Germans to advance and advance into the apparently limitless space (prostor, in the Russian word), as the German supply lines became elongated and eventually unable to supply enough food and ammunition; this came to a head particularly during the battle for Stalingrad.

Reverting to the Kursk situation in 2024, it can be seen that the operation was designed by Zelensky, against the advice of some of his commanders, as a public relations exercise. The suppliers of arms and vast amounts of Western taxpayers’ money had to be shown that the Kiev-regime forces were not beaten. Those forces achieved surprise, and, at first, considerable success.

The area presently held seems to be less than 1,000 sq. km: https://www.ft.com/content/84c60abe-1eab-4440-8511-c13218c7bbe7. That is rather more than twice the size of the Isle of Wight.

The Kiev-regime forces were advancing several miles a day in that Kursk border region, but have probably now almost stopped.

Russian forces far to the south, in the Donbass, are advancing 1-3 miles a day, apparently. The Kiev-regime forces are outmannned and outgunned there, a situation made worse by the use of some experienced Ukrainian troops for the Kursk incursion.

What Putin could do (though it might be politically difficult) would be to do little but just about hold the line in the Kursk region, or even fall back on Kursk city (about 30-40 miles from the present front-line), while pounding the Kiev-regime supply lines and rear echelon areas. The Kiev regime forces do not have the manpower or ammunition etc to advance endlessly. Their tide may already have reached its fullest extent.

In other words, Putin could almost let those Kiev-regime forces in the Kursk region “die on the vine”, in MacArthur’s memorable phrase.

Once those Kiev regime forces are stuck in the Kursk region, or have retreated, or are destroyed, those forces will not be able to be deployed, or re-deployed, on the Donbass front. Even now, it looks as though Russian forces will soon split the Kiev-regime forces there into two. Once that results in further crumbling of the front, startling Russian advances may be seen, either in the next few months or next summer. All of Eastern Ukraine may fall to Russian forces in 2025.

The Notting Hill Carnival should never have been allowed in the first place, and should be terminated now but will not be, because the Government is afraid of weeks of rioting and looting by blacks if such a step were to be taken.

I attended that carnival once, out of curiosity. In the early or mid 1980s. Absolutely ghastly. Intolerable noise, mostly from horrible amplified “music”. Intolerable crowds. Also, no way of getting out without walking miles. In the end, I walked all the way back to Little Venice.

Another strange Mark Lewis tale

So it seems that the “poor and victimized” Jewish couple, supposedly targeted by an American black comedian, then booed out of an Edinburgh Fringe comedy show by the irritated audience, were none other than Mark Lewis, the egregious self-promoting solicitor, and his wife/partner/carer Mandy Blumenthal. They made a big fuss about emigrating to Israel six years ago. They said that Britain was too “antisemitic” for them to remain here, and so were, in effect, getting out while they could.

A pack of lies. They spend quite a bit of time here, and do not seem to feel any obligation to stay and help Israel in its hour of need.

If those tweets by Reginald D. Hunter are true (accurate), that puts another complexion on the “victimized Jewish couple” story as first published and broadcast recently.

First of all, one has to ask why Lewis and his companion went to such a show in the first place, if the comedian, one Reginald D. Hunter, is known for being “antisemitic” (I have to admit that I had never heard of him at all).

What was their motive even for going there if they were aware of the comedian’s expressed views?

It will be remembered by some that Mandy Blumenthal deliberately tried to book passage, quite many years ago, on a Middle Eastern airline operating out of Heathrow, and made it known that she was Jewish (perhaps using her Israeli passport rather than her UK one). Once refused by the airline, a “typical” fuss was made, both at the airport and in the (((Press))), and the airline quickly stumped up, apparently, quite a few thousand pounds by way of “compensation” (to shut her up).

Is this yet another cynical way to get money, this time out of the comedian, the promoter or the theatre? Was the whole thing contrived in advance, like that airline scam, or not? We do not know, and can only try to draw logical conclusions from what we know.

Incidentally, here is the Times of Israel report about the airline “compensation” scam: https://www.timesofisrael.com/kuwait-air-to-compensate-israeli-for-refusing-to-fly-her-report/. It makes clear that lawyers from “UK Lawyers for Israel” [“UKLFI”] helped Mandy Blumenthal to make her claim, which resulted in her receiving “substantial damages“.

Mark Lewis is —quelle surprise— a member, indeed perhaps even a leading member, of UKLFI, as well as the notorious “Campaign Against Antisemitism” [“CAA”], both of which have been involved in attacking me over recent years (since 2014): see, eg, https://ianrobertmillard.org/2017/07/13/when-i-was-a-victim-of-a-malicious-zionist-complaint/ and https://ianrobertmillard.org/2017/07/09/the-slide-of-the-english-bar-and-uk-society-continues-and-accelerates/.

Reading about what the comedian said on stage, it seems that he recognized the “anonymous” Jewish couple of the Press stories, and that that is why he said that he had been “waiting” for Lewis, assuming that it was Lewis, to turn up:

During the furore, Hunter, 55, appeared to double down on his initial joke, telling the couple: “I’ve been waiting for you all summer, where the f*** you been?” [Jewish Chronicle]. https://www.thejc.com/news/uk/israeli-couple-hounded-out-of-reginald-d-hunter-fringe-show-as-he-makes-jokes-about-jews-g6dtt4ip.

Lewis has been in considerable legal trouble recently: see https://ianrobertmillard.org/2024/07/26/diary-blog-26-july-2024-including-the-latest-news-about-the-unprofessional-behaviour-of-mark-lewis-lawyer/.

As for his previous history, the blog post below covers, or has links about, Lewis’s previous and rather inglorious activities: https://ianrobertmillard.org/2019/01/11/update-re-mark-lewis-lawyer-questions-are-raised/.

See also: https://ianrobertmillard.org/2018/12/20/self-publicizing-supposed-top-lawyer-mark-lewis-full-transcript-of-disciplinary-hearing-judgment-now-released-by-tribunal/.

That’s even before one considers the way in which he treated his ex-wife, one-time low-level TV face, and radio voice (now washed-up and over the hill), Caroline Feraday. I have little time for her anyway, so let’s leave that aside for now (she joined with Lewis in abusing me very unpleasantly on Twitter, about 12 years ago, so she deserved to suffer once she married him, in my view).

As for that Daily Mail scribbler who claims to have “tracked down” the “Jewish couple”, that is none other than Sabrina Miller, who was at the centre of the contrived storm around anti-Zionist academic Dr. David Miller [https://x.com/Tracking_Power] formerly of Bristol University, who was sacked but later won at an employment tribunal: https://www.telegraph.co.uk/news/2024/02/05/bristol-university-professor-discrimination-anti-zionist/; and https://www.gbnews.com/news/anti-zionist-professor-wins-landmark-case-against-unfair-dismissal-video.

Sabrina Miller, when a vociferous Jewish girl student at Bristol, found time to defend Jewish-lobby-puppet and then-MP, Ian Austin, who had tweeted that bestiality pornography and other similar material should be decriminalized. Now she is a “journalist” with the Daily Mail.

The Mail might not have the best reputation, but it really should draw the line at contrived “stories” such as this Edinburgh Fringe scam.

Looks to me as though the audience recognized Lewis specifically, and were loudly disapproving for that reason.

As for the comedian, the promoter (if any), and the theatre, they should resist any contrived legal claim that “any” ambulance-chaser might make…

More tweets seen

This all makes me feel that “a certain person” was right (about “them”)…

Lewis must be desperate to invent a case…

The Daily Mail should sack Sabrina Miller. Jews always demand sackings for far less default, so what is good for the goose, etc…

As I surmised.

(((Typical)))

[Mandy Blumenthal screeches at the comedian Reginald Hunter, while washed-up Israel fanatic Lewis supports her aggressive rant]

Looks like the pair will not be getting a pay-off this time…

[what horrible “people”, if such is the bon mot]

Looks as if I guessed correctly…

What does Starmer think those imprisoned protesters, tweeters, Facebook posters feel about the UK government of traitors now? Happy? Angry? Determined?

God help John Betjeman, were he still alive. “Come, friendly German bombers, and drop your bombs on Slough“… he would probably be arrested by the “Anti-Terror Command” or other poundshop UK Stasi police, and/or imprisoned for years.

Almost anything now published or spoken by msm scribblers and talking heads can be discounted. If they ever cross the line into uncomfortable and “unapproved” reality, they soon lose those lucrative jobs— and they know it.

All in the Donbass, where Russian forces are now steadily advancing at a rate of up to 3 miles per day.

Russia cannot lose this war and will not lose this war.

Late music

Diary Blog, 17 August 2024, with thoughts about David Starkey, dissidence, free speech

Morning music

[Knightsbridge, 1930s]

Saturday quiz

A poor week. I scored only the same as political journalist John Rentoul— 3/10. I knew only the answers to questions 1, 2, and 5; had I thought a bit more, I should also have recalled no. 9 and no. 10.

Talking point

As David Starkey says, Starmer is (along with others and, particularly but not exclusively, in “the party formerly known as Labour”) attempting to institute a kind of “woke” and multikulti police state.

Where I differ from Starkey is in having no faith in the idea that a different ethos of national identity can suddenly emerge or be fostered, not without a homogenous population. The UK population is going the other way, becoming ever-more heterogenous, and spinning out of control.

I also differ from Starkey in that he thinks, or hopes, that, if he or someone else puts forward a reasoned and reasonable argument, eventually people will accept the propositions put forward. The credo of the traditional or classical academic.

All very well, as far as it goes, but Mao put forward the credo of Realpolitik, that is “political power comes out of the barrel of a gun“.

Not that that I agree wholeheartedly with that Maoist quotation either. The —by any other name— “revolution” in the DDR/East Germany in 1989 was not violent. There were vast, though peaceful, demonstrations in several major DDR cities (Dresden, Leipzig etc). The Lutheran Church was part of all that.

The East German state was still arresting some dissidents even in 1989, but the heart had gone. I recall the strange feeling I had when spending a couple of days in the DDR in 1988. Like a stage set of a state rather than a real one, an impression made stronger by the seemingly almost-depopulated southern parts of East Germany through which I travelled by car. I have blogged once or twice previously about my impressions of the place(s).

As a matter of fact, the slightly contrived “revolutions” of the late 1980s in Romania, Czechoslovakia etc were mainly non-violent, as they were in the pribaltika (Baltic states). I myself saw Czechoslovakia briefly in 1988, just before it all happened, and was in Poland several times in 1988 and 1989.

In Poland, even in 1988, one got the impression that the state there was going through the motions of being a “socialist” state but that, just under the surface, the whole population, pretty much, was “dissident” in one way or another; a kind of vast, non-violent anti-socialist conspiracy of a whole people.

Even in the Soviet Union, a huge “revolution” happened over several years in the late 1980s and early 1990s, mostly though not entirely peaceful, and including (as in Romania and elsewhere) many elements of the socialist-state structure.

Starkey is or was a Conservative, politically. He seems at least slightly taken with Kemi Badenoch and Robert Jenrick. Why? The first is a Nigerian (though born in London) and so, in my opinion, unfitted by that fact alone to be a British political leader, let alone Prime Minister. I have, also, never heard anything worthwhile from her.

As to Jenrick, I have several problems with him too. He appears to be at least partly English, but his full provenance is not in the public domain; at least, I myself have never seen it. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Robert_Jenrick#Early_life_and_non-political_career.

Born 1982, qualified late as solicitor, aged 26, but was in legal practice for only about 4 years (with two of the leading American law firms, sequentially; presumably quite junior), and was then (somehow; how?) a director of Christie’s auctioneers (though only until he became an MP a few months later).

Jenrick’s provenance interests me. It also disquiets.

Jenrick, yet another member of Conservative Friends of Israel, is tied up with Jewish businessmen and property-developer sharks, and pushed for the ruination of the small park by the Palace of Westminster by the proposed construction of a hugely-ugly “holocaust” “memorial” and propaganda centre.

In addition, Jenrick ordered, as minister for immigration, murals for children of migrant-invaders to be painted over because the colourful murals might give them pleasure and comfort.

No-one, I think, could accuse me of being either pro-immigration or in favour of granting privileges to migrant-invaders, but that mean-spirited targeting of any small children of such invaders by Jenrick felt morally wrong to me.

Like Starmer, Jenrick is married to a Jewish woman and has had children with her.

Jenrick just feels wrong to me. He’s a bad apple.

As to the Starkey interview, while I can agree with much of what he says there, he is too much in the ivory tower in the end.

Ironically, for someone “cancelled” by the System for making “racist” remarks, he seems to me insufficiently so. How does he imagine this country will recover in the way that he hopes when 20% of the population is already non-European, and with another ~million coming in every year at present? Make that, conservatively, about a 2% increase annually.

It seems to me that Starkey knows in his heart that I am right (even if, as is quite likely, he has never heard of me), but fears to say so; don’t forget that he “apologized” and tried to retract after he was “cancelled”. Never pretend to apologize to either the mob or to “them” (((them))).

The video is worth watching, though.

Further talking points

Good grief.

Listen to that “muppet” (on the second video clip), one Benjamin Butterworth. Complete idiot. Complete traitor to this country’s people and their future, too. Former (?) Chairman of Young Labour (in London). Scribbled a few times for the Guardian some years ago, apparently. https://www.theguardian.com/profile/benjamin-butterworth.

Poor thinking skills. Very poor, in fact. A fanatic, but one with nothing of interest to say. Claims that “legal immigrants” (the vast majority of all immigrants) all “come into the country with a job“. A straight lie. Huge numbers enter as supposed “fiances”, “fiancees”, “spouses”, “students”, “family members”, “asylum seekers” etc; and even those supposedly entering “with a job” (on work visas) are often not bona fide at all.

I fear that much of Starmer’s strongest support comes from semi-educated and anti-British fanatics of that sort.

I rather think that GB News had that Butterworth on because they knew that he would create a kind of petty storm among the discussion panel.

Interesting to note that the msm always applauds “resistance” (including violent “resistance”) in, for example, historically, the Third Reich, the Soviet Union, Italy, Spain, and in various other parts of the world; in South America, even in contemporary North America and Europe, so long as Jews, non-whites, or sometimes Communist partisans, are doing the various forms of “protest”, but as soon as contemporary white people do the same, they must, apparently, be shut down, “cancelled”, even prosecuted and, indeed, even imprisoned. Not even because they have been violent, in fact. Look at Jez Turner, imprisoned for making a speech, Alison Chabloz, for singing satirical songs and posting cartoons; more recently, Sam Melia, for having published stickers the subject-matter of which was not even unlawful.

Remember “two-tier Keir” and thick-as-two-short-planks Angela Rayner being photographed literally “taking the knee” (bowing down before) the fraudulent “Black Lives Matter” nonsense?

Carol Vorderman thinks that Nigel Farage is a snake-oil salesman. Well, not much argument from me on that, but wait until La Vorderman discovers the truth about Starmer, Yvette Cooper, Rachel Reeves etc…

Of course, the main reason that Farage recently distanced himself from the English protests, and especially their riotous offshoots, was because he does not want OFCOM to pressure GB News to cut off his work (and money).

Well, I certainly hear what tweeter Paul Embery is saying there, but look at the alternative— Kamala Harris, a hugely-ignorant non-white who will be but a figurehead while the “Deep State” around her, and really running the show, foments war with Russia, a war they think they can “win” but which —if it happens— will leave Europe, as well as North America and European Russia, in irradiated ruins.

Dead men walking looting.

The only question is whether Putin will simply utilize conventional military methods to push the Kiev-regime forces out of that part of the Kursk region which they have recently invaded, or whether he will do something entirely unexpected by the Western msm, such as use very powerful bombs and missiles (even tactical nuclear ones) to blast clear the whole of the occupied area. There is an outside chance that he might even launch a massive air bombardment on Kharkov or even Kiev.

Whatever the Russian response is, the Kiev-regime forces will be unable to hold the recently-invaded territory. Zelensky himself has admitted as much, though saying that Kiev “is not interested” in doing so. If that is so, why invade that territory in the first place? Clearly, as a public relations exercise to keep Western arms and money flowing in.

Meanwhile, in the Donbass region to the south, Russian forces are steadily advancing at present. About a mile per day. Not spectacular, but the Kiev-regime forces, short of —most of all— soldiers, will have no chance of regaining those areas, or of stopping the Russian advance, all the more so now that some of the better Ukrainian detachments have been re-deployed to assist with the Kursk incursion.

Life in remote Western Siberia

A simple and, in many respects, hard life. Not completely isolated, though. I see that they seem to have electricity (“Socialism means Soviet power plus the electrification of the whole country“— Lenin) , and that their milk comes from a carton rather than from their one cow.

The old lady is cooking (I think) manti [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manti_(food)] or pelmeni [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Pelmeni], foods quite similar inter se, and not dissimilar to ravioli. Cuisine is not really my forte, so I had better say no more. As for what she is frying, maybe cubes of bacon, maybe pork fat.

The old man is seen mending his fishing traps (there is a nearby small river).

Retired people in Russia now get a pension of about £200 a month. Not much (under Yeltsin, it was only about £25, and not always paid), but it must go quite far in a Siberian village. Milk, tea, bread, flour etc.

It occurs to me that, were the world to be hit by nuclear war, and depending on how severe that would be, people of that type might survive better than those who live, as most of us do, in Western (or Russian) cities, towns, suburbs, or partly-suburbanized countryside.

As someone once said of the Louisiana Cajuns living in and around the Mississippi Delta, “when the rest of the world is starving, these people will still be eating.”

Starmer-Labour is clueless. The time for a National Wealth Fund would have been in the 1970s and onward, using North Sea Oil revenues, but the System parties gave most of the benefit to oil companies and foreign speculators.

Again, clueless. Mad. Crazed. Would-be dictator Yvette Cooper, who is closer to her evil dream than ever before, is even more of a police-statist than Starmer. She must be stopped. Starmer must be stopped.

Where is real journalism in this country?

[“British” journalism]

I mean by that, journalism that points out loudly and often that the Starmer-Labour regime was “elected” on the votes of only 33.7% of those who voted, i.e. a third of the actual voters, and only 20% (if that) of all eligible voters: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2024_United_Kingdom_general_election#Full_results.

This government has no real popular mandate.

Already, people who have nothing to do with “terrorism” (even taking the term at face value) are being snooped upon and sometimes raided by the police, under (some of them) their new-ish Stasi-lite grand title of “the Anti-Terror Command”. I think that even the satirical singer and entertainer Alison Chabloz was arrested by them one day, several years ago.

Morning thought

So the Israelis have now killed over 40,000 people in Gaza, the vast majority non-combatants, and the majority of them women and children (or at least juveniles under 18).

According to the Israeli authorities themselves, the Jewish/Israeli death toll in Southern Israel arising from the attack by Hamas operatives on 7 October 2023 was just over 1,100, of which about a third were Israeli soldiers, police, and operatives of the Shin Beth security organization. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/2023_Hamas-led_attack_on_Israel#Revision_of_casualty_numbers

So, Israeli death toll on 7 October 2023— about 1,180.

Palestinian Arab death toll in Gaza since 7 October 2023 to date— over 40,000.

40x the number…

Also, the Israelis have made Gaza all but uninhabitable.

The question arises: at what point will the “Israelis” consider that they have received sufficient “payback”?

Talking point

I myself have not thought that for a long long time anyway…

Britain is now infested by these fake “think tanks”, “institutes”, fake “charities” etc, staffed and headed by useless persons (often, though not always, non-European), and subsidized (often, not always) out of public funds. A kind of propaganda industry dedicated to the subversion of our race, culture, and civilization.

You often find that MPs who are chucked out after having lost elections, and especially those who belong to “Friends of Israel” groups, are found well-paid jobs either heading such fake think-tanks etc, or similar “jobs” with various commercial regulatory bodies.

The Jews in Israel/Palestine will not be content (and in fact not even then) until they “own”, by conquest or trickery or terrorist gangsterism, all of the land in the country. Many of those Jew “settlers” (terrorists) are not even of “Israeli” origin, but have recently arrived from the USA, Australia, the UK, France etc.

Harold Wilson

Happened to see this recently-republished 2016 Guardian reminiscence of Harold Wilson [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Harold_Wilson] and the Isles of Scilly:

https://www.theguardian.com/commentisfree/2016/may/27/scilly-harold-wilson-prime-minister

Harold Wilson was (in the 1960s; he returned for a couple of years in the 1970s) Prime Minister at a time of transition, when Britain still had (more) remnants of our once-vast Empire, and when it still stood up sometimes to the demands of our supposed “ally” across the Atlantic. Wilson refused to join the USA in the Vietnam War, though Australia and New Zealand did, considering themselves bound by their SEATO membership [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Southeast_Asia_Treaty_Organization]. The UK, though, was also a SEATO member, as were other states.

Domestically, the UK still had so many possibilities (in the 1960s as well as the 1970s), partly because mass immigration had scarcely started, as compared to 2024 (you rarely, almost never, saw black, brown, or other non-European persons). The very few (literally one or two, except at Oxford University) seen by me in the 1960s in Berkshire and Oxfordshire, where I lived, were occasional people such as NHS consultants.

I should know what the UK was like back then: I was born in 1956.

In the 1960s, there were many modernizing developments in the UK (for good or ill, sometimes for good) such as the Open University, the first motorways (M1, M4), Concorde etc. Also, after 20 years, Britain was just starting to pull away strongly from the restricted post-WW2 atmosphere that had hung over the country since the Pyrrhic victory of 1945.

As for Wilson himself, I encountered him when I was 9, or maybe just 10, in 1966 (my birthday being in early September). I was for some reason determined to meet him and, knowing that he was on the island, stalked a few people who looked, to my mind, a bit like him until I found my quarry on the quay at Hugh Town, St. Mary’s, accompanied by his sole bodyguard, a slim “British officer” type with a pencil moustache, his pistol and holster hidden under a cricket jumper tied around his waist, only the thin brown gun belt over the shoulder giving it away.

[the 9-10 year-old Millard, at left, with younger brothers and Harold Wilson, in 1966]

Wilson has been much-criticized over the years, but had some good qualities, not only personally but politically. He was unlucky inasmuch as the trade unions were all-powerful at the time, and because Britain was still, psychologically, fighting the Second World War.

Darren Grimes cannot believe it…he must have missed the times when, to take only one or two examples from recent years, Jez Turner (Jeremy Bedford-Turner) was sentenced to a year’s imprisonment for making a brief speech in Whitehall which merely suggested, in one sentence, that Jews should be expelled from England, as they had been (more than once) centuries ago. Darren Grimes and all those other “alt-right” talking heads and scribblers must have also missed the imprisonment of Alison Chabloz for having posted a few satirical songs and cartoons.

Other such free speech martyrs have included Sam Melia of Patriotic Alternative and “Sven Longshanks” (James Allchurch).

Completely useless, and in fact negative, a millstone round the neck of our present society, let alone any more advanced version. Not needed, not wanted.

I have seen examples of that attitude in London (including, but not only, on trains) since the early 1980s.

Those without respect for society, or for (real) British people, may at least be controlled, and their behaviour contained, via fear.

I very much dislike Douglas Murray’s pro-Israelism and pro-Jewish/Zionist-lobby stances, but he is surely on the right track here, leaving aside his wrongful negativity towards National Socialism.

Quite.

Incidentally, the only reason there are any cases at all of “mpox” (monkeypox) in Sweden and a few other European countries is because there are African populations in Europe.

The academic milieu in the UK is a “rotten borough” that should be purged.

El Al flights out of Israel fully-booked again, I expect.

Stalin asked, sardonically, “how many divisions has the Pope?” (Pius XII), yet Stalin is gone, the Soviet regime is gone, and the Pope (albeit a successor-Pope) is still around, as is the Roman Catholic Church (though many think it will not outlast the present century).

Trump says he’s disappointed that the Israel and Jewish lobby isn’t as powerful now as it was 15 years ago. “15 years ago, if you said anything bad about Israel or the Jewish people, you were finished as a politician — the most powerful lobby in this country by far, was Israel and Jewish people. Today it’s almost like, what happened?

People at last, and at least, started to wake up, that’s what happened.

Part of that is younger people (worldwide) not using the Jewish/Zionist controlled or influenced “legacy media”, aka “mainstream media”, very much these days.

Trump, as President, always was a squawking parrot in a gilded cage, guarded by Jews, but at least he might be able to prevent WW3, if re-elected.

I thought, before Biden stood aside, that Trump was “nailed on” to win, but the Kamala Harris candidature changes that, stupid and incredibly ignorant though she is.

For one thing, the American masses now vote mainly according to identity box-ticking. Many of the blacks will vote for Kamala Harris just because she is non-white (half-Jamaican, half-Tamil Indian). Many American women will vote for her simply because she is a woman.

I am beginning to think that Trump might lose this. Maybe that is why he is trying to get the Jews on-side. They may only comprise 2% of the American population, but their influence over the mass media makes their support all but indispensable for Trump.

I now find the US Presidential Election impossible to call.

Race, crime, and police reporting

Take a look at this local newspaper report.

https://www.advertiserandtimes.co.uk/sport/cctv-500-of-medicinal-products-stolen-from-lymington-store-9379199/

Shoplifters caught on cctv. The police describe them both as “white“, which they plainly are not.

I wonder how accurate many such reports are (or, rather, are not).

The police of the UK are pretty close to being just useless now, and are utterly suffused with “woke” nonsense.

Well, 9/10 this week, trumping John Rentoul’s 5 and a half. The only answer I definitely did not know was that to question no. 1. I admit that I “educated-guessed” several, though.

The 2024 Olympics

Not everyone was happy when the Olympic Games were resurrected from the vaults of classical history. Rudolf Steiner, for one, did not like the idea, the form it took and, I think, the aesthetics of what was re-invented.

The modern Games have little in common with what existed over 2,300 years ago: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Olympic_Games#Ancient_Olympics.

The sports have varied over the years. Tug-o-War was once a recognized Olympic sport, for example, and I personally cannot accept several of the present-day sports as real sports. Synchronized swimming and equestrian dressage, to name but two.

To my mind, the main damage was done when the Olympic Games became a competition among nations rather than among individuals. I suppose that the idea was to mirror the original Games, in which Greek villages and city-states sent representative athletes.

The Games developed from an early amateur and folksy festival to a peak of aesthetics at the 1936 Games in Berlin, but since then the whole thing has become an international corporate Schauspiel with little reality.

I don’t care if Lammy has half a dozen tick-box “degrees” or diplomas. I prefer to look at the real person. Just listen to that ignorant [REDACTED]…

Also, it is clear that Lammy cannot think on his feet. Perhaps that is why he never worked as a practising barrister. In fact, I think that he never was actually in practice at the Bar at all, just did a few months as a kind of “diversity”-hire gopher and/or intern at a law firm in California, then a year doing the same thing in London at a different firm. That year or two together constitute the only non-political work Lammy has ever done, when aged about 26, before he latched onto the old MP racket (like so many other useless wastes of space).

Exactly as I predicted would happen. Instead of a highly-visible armada of “small boats” across the Channel, UK “vetting centres” in mainland Europe will rubberstamp 90% of all applicants.

The rest will either be deterred or, more likely, will still try their luck at crossing illegally, but of course the visual and public relations impact will be diminished— 50 a day instead of 500, but with the other 450 coming in “legally”.

Straight treachery.

Starmer-Labour is a kind of bastard progeny of Blair’s trickery.

Incidentally, you can see there what a nest of evil exists in the “British” mainstream media (of which Talk TV would be part, if anyone actually watched it). Most scribblers and talking heads in this country are enemies of the future of the British people.

Not sure that I agree that the policeman who kicked one compliant suspect in the head and then stamped on the suspect’s head did behave “appropriately“, bearing in mind that the suspect was still, was lying face down, and was presenting no risk.

That two-stage action, the kick and the stamping, can be separated from the main fight, because the recipient of the attacking police actions was effectively a prisoner and not fighting when he was kicked and stamped upon.

Of course it is easy to pass judgment after the event, but that is what has to happen— cool judgment later, whether in a court or tribunal, or in the court of public opinion.

I think that those were “flashbangs”, not grenades as such.

Where was Matt Goodwin when Jez Turner was imprisoned merely for saying that Jews should be deported from the UK? Where was Goodwin when Alison Chabloz was imprisoned for creating and posting a few amusing cartoons and songs about Jewish behaviour?
