Pathetic, in a way, but he is after all the most powerful person on Earth, at least in potential.

Trump’s negotiating style may work in New York, or southern Florida, but Russians are chess players, not poor poker players; they think ahead. Slow and determined thinkers and, eventually, doers. The same goes, mutatis mutandis, for the Chinese. Trump’s style of negotiation may seem impressive at times, but his waves break helplessly upon the rocks of Russia and China, the two other global major powers of the age.

There is much wrong with our present society, but to have it all destroyed, and then have to start to try to build from scratch, from a Stone Age level (but worse, because of despoilation, devastation, radiation poisoning etc) would be bitter on a wholly new level.

The devil would be in the detail, e.g. what about ownership of assets with rapidly-rising value? Should they be taxed upon sale? If so, at what level, and under what conditions?

For now, though, we should, as a society, start to be thinking of flattening the income/capital curve. Start on the journey.

Incidentally, I think that many naive people think that Schindler’s List, adapted from the novel, Schindler’s Ark, is “history”, a factual account of events, whereas it is actually “faction”, i.e. mixed fact and fiction. You might compare it to the book and film, Day of the Jackal. In the latter, most of the main characters existed, as did most of the surrounding factual basis— the Algerian conflict, the OAS, General de Gaulle, the rebel leaders etc. The story, however, was a skilful blend of real events and made-up events and people.

As a matter of fact, the author of Schindler’s Ark (at time of writing of this blog still alive at the age of 89), was only a small boy in the early 1940s, and is Australian. His book is a novel, not “history” as such.

Rachael Maskell. Think I have not heard of her previously. Looks and sounds actually insane, as Dan Hodges says (and rarely do I agree with him!). She must be mentally-ill. Alternatively, she looks as if she might be affected by some drug or other. Her demeanour is very odd.

I would, had I the political power, “stop the boats”.

How? By shooting down all cross-Channel invaders, and by rooting-out those facilitating the invasion (both on the European mainland and in the UK itself).

I should also “stop the boats” by degrading and punishing the Navy and Border Force (“Farce”) if they were to prove unable or unwilling to do their duty, then by replacing those orgs with another marine force, and/or by “privateers”, i.e. licensed “stop the boats” motor vessels crewed by bounty-hunters.

Further, I would task special forces (or, again, private and specially-licensed bounty-hunters, if necessary, i.e. if the SAS, SBS etc refuse to do their duty), those “privateers” or “bounty-hunters” to be charged with eliminating the gangsters in the EU (France, Belgium, Netherlands, Germany etc) who are facilitating much of the invasion. It seems clear that the USA was induced by the American Jewish lobby and Israel directly to attack Iran because Israel was in serious danger of losing the recent contest, its international airport closed, its ports mostly closed or avoided by foreign ships.

Those underground facilities in Iran indicate a long-term goal— regional hegemony. If Israel disappears, that leaves Iran as sole regional “superpower”, which may be why the craven Gulf Arabs are now effectively satraps of Israel and the USA. They are afraid of Iranian/Persian power.

War with Russia would be mad, but that does not mean it cannot or will not happen.

What can I say?

Stray thoughts on a hot afternoon

I have never claimed a long culinary repertoire; indeed, before I married for the first time, I lived almost entirely on cold food (whatever the season), or fed while outside my residence(s), though I did occasionally cook buckwheat kasha (quite nice if boiled then fried), scrambled eggs and, from time to time, vegetable curry.

Two marriages etc have, perhaps counter-intuitively, led me to pick up a few other recipes, such as fish pie. Today, though, I embark on something new, formerly had only at other people’s houses (often in gardens) in summer— okroshka.

Sometimes, okroshka has ham in it, but I do not eat meat, and I think that (as with Russian or “Olivier” Salad), ham or other meat is an unnecessary extra anyway.

I doubt that mine will match examples had elsewhere, prepared by foodie people, and I lack kvass (a drink made from fermented rye bread), a usual ingredient, but I expect it will be good enough.

On this hot day, I have also been thinking about something else, namely the fact that the Starmer-stein Labour Friends of Israel government has lost control of this country in every way.

Migration-invasion continuing at an even greater rate, with an average of about 1,000 a day now crossing illegally, and a further 5,000+ coming in “legally”, as (or posing as) “dependent family”, “spouses”, “fiances”, “tourists”, “high-skilled workers” (Indians able to work a computer, medical staff etc), “students” (few ever return home), and so on.

We also have an “invasion by births”, births of non-Europeans, whether born in the UK or not.

Court system on its knees, street crime ubiquitous (in the London area). The latest wheeze is to release “some” (presumably, non-political) prisoners after they have served 20% of their headline sentence, so someone sentenced to a year will only do about 10 weeks, and a 3-month sentence will presumably be, in reality, 2-3 weeks .

If there were no non-Europeans in this country, or only small numbers, the prison population would not be about 120,000 but nearer to 20,000. In fact, if the Irish “tinker”/”traveller” element, and the Roma Gypsy element, were also both removed, the number of prisoners would fall to about 10,000.

The court system has backlogs which are getting worse. I noticed that Professor/Dr David Miller, now being privately prosecuted in the magistrates’ court by the malicious Jew-Zionist org “Campaign Against Antisemitism” or “CAA”, had his first appearance a few days ago. Trial is set for December!

In the Crown Courts, many cases starting their process now, have trial dates, in some instances, set as far ahead as 2029!

The streets, especially in London, are becoming an urban jungle.

This government has pretty much lost control. Ironic, really, because there has not been a UK government so full of control freaks since the days of Tony Blair.

Penny Mordaunt (whom, as a politician, I do not entirely dislike) is now politically irrelevant, and still seems to regard the Conservative Party as the main show in town, whereas in reality the Con Party is on its last legs. The polling says it all: Starmer-Labour is a dead party walking, in much of the country, but that does not mean that the Conservative Party will bounce back as in the past. Look at the opinion polling. The Con Party is on 16%, 17%, somewhere around there, with no sign of increasing its support.

Politically, and at only 52, Penny Mordaunt is finished, in my opinion. She has no Commons seat, and is unlikely to win back her former seat (though I concede that that might just be possible in a 3-way Labour-Reform-Con contest in —?— 2029 at Portsmouth North). I doubt that she would join Reform under any circumstances (and, to give her her due, I think that she is driven, partly, by principle as well as by expediency— but after her near-win in 2024, she would surely be “nailed on” if standing again but under the Reform banner).

Russia or, rather, the Russian people, will eventually, in about 1,500 years, become the leading edge of the world, just as the Germanic/Anglo-American element now is. Marshall is one of the better-informed journalists, but I have to say that I find him insufferably big-headed. More pro-Israel than anti, if I am not mistaken.

In any case, Shapps (who is nothing but a dishonest Jew fraudster) is talking nonsense. The RAF, even if deployed in Israel’s defence, could not, in all likelihood, stop Iranian hypersonic missiles from hitting their designated targets. RAF planes, if so tasked, could stop some of the other missiles, drones etc attacking Israel, but the Israeli Iron Dome and other systems have shown themselves well capable of doing that anyway. The Israelis are already doing that themselves, in other words.

I am pleased, especially, that those Jews and/or any non-Jew pro-Zionists who have dual nationality, and the young Jews who go from the UK to get paramilitary training, are now stuck there, awaiting their fate. I suppose that, in principle, those ones could leave, but how, when the main international airport is shut down?

If those fanatics want to “fight for Israel”, well, here’s their chance! They can just pack a Desert Eagle, or an Uzi, and hole-up waiting for their enemies to arrive.

Re. Labour’s recent supposed “stunning victory” in the recent Hamilton by-election (Scottish Parliament): when you look at the figures, Labour won but with only 31.6% of the vote. The SNP vote fell markedly (unsurprisingly) to 29.4%, and Reform UK, which had not previously put up a candidate in the constituency, came in a close third, with 26.1%; all three main candidates were within a band of 1,400 votes.

The Conservative Party got only 6%, a huge fall from its previous vote, and the six other candidates (including the LibDem) lost their deposits.
