Yes to more English/British children, but no to more children from non-whites resident in the UK.

Even that does not tell the whole story, because quite a high proportion of the grandmothers, or grandfathers, or both, of the remaining 66% are in fact also non-white, non-European.

About 1,600 babies are born daily in the UK. Only about 400 of those are actually English/British, or fully English/British.

8 out of 10 of those countries are very backward, and so are most of the people. As for “Romanians“, I would be prepared to bet that most, the vast majority, are not real Romanians at all but Roma Gypsies.

He cannot now conveniently travel in either Russia or the USA, and is believed to live and/or have property in Surrey, south-west of London.

According to Wikipedia etc, Steele acted as a paid FBI source between 2014-2016, and was paid around USD $100,000 in toto.

In my opinion, probably not at all reliable.

As an outsider, not involved in secret activities, I have always been sceptical of the value of the SIS/MI6 apparat. I still am. Where are the successes? (and it is no answer to reply that they have to be kept secret).

Looking at Steele’s tweet, I might bat back at him the same question, but about his own activity— cui bono?

I have just looked at a few recent tweets by Steele. He is, it seems to me, in danger of becoming obsessed by the idea of Trump as Russian secret (or not-so-secret) agent.

Reform has probably fallen back a bit by reason of two factors: its kneejerk pro-Israel, pro-Jewish lobby pronouncements, and the perception (seen in comments by pro-Reform Matt Goodwin, as well in some by Tice etc) that Reform wants to radically cut back the Welfare State.

As for the Conservative Party, probably damaged beyond repair now. 14 years of terrible misgovernment in almost all if not all areas, and now “led” by hopeless Nigerian woman Kemi Badenoch.

That is because Starmer-stein and his cabal are not really a Labour government, except in terms of label; they are a Labour Friends of Israel regime. Starmer, Rachel Reeves, Liz Kendall, all of that rubbish lot.

High Peak is an unfortunate constituency. First they had Conservative Friends of Israel MP Robert Largan (2017-2024), now they have Labour Friends of Israel MP Jon Pearce (2024-). The difference is mainly the party label.

I have only ever met one person who has been to Vorkuta, and his was an involuntary visit that lasted for many years; a Pole sent there as a young man, I think in or about 1940, along with many others. I believe that he somehow survived a decade there, and was eventually repatriated to his family in Bielsko-Biala, south-west Poland. Maybe about 65 when I met him and his family in 1988, he was a bit of a tough guy, and he must indeed have been tough, in more youthful days, to survive for 10 years as a prisoner and slave-labourer in Vorkuta.

Looking at that film (above), I am again struck by the harshness and brutality that humans can inflict on each other, but also by the incredible resilience and ability to create that humans have.

Vorkuta, like other cities in inhospitable areas and harsh climates (Magadan, Norilsk etc) which were wholly a product of the Stalinist period of the Soviet system (Vorkuta did not exist even as a hamlet until the 1930s), had at one time (1960s, 1970s, 1980s) a real city life, with a railway station, buses, an airport, a city theatre, hospitals, cinemas, sports centres, even a symphony orchestra; also, some fairly impressive-looking official buildings.

Vorkuta had, at one time, 115,000 inhabitants. The real population is now thought to be well below 50,000, perhaps as low as 30,000.

My point is that civilization is not a simple continuum. Rudolf Steiner, Valentin Tomberg etc have described human evolution as a staggered spiral. There can be breaks in the spiral. Civilizations or cultures arise, but also decay and disappear. Amazing places can be created and built out of “nothing”, but those same places can fall to pieces and disappear even from memory and/or from recorded history.

The beautiful city of St. Petersburg was created from swamp and forest by the vision, in origo, of one man, Peter the Great, and still exists, now with millions of inhabitants (it is commonly said to be the 4th or even 3rd-largest city in Europe, depending on whether Istanbul is accepted as European). On the other hand, famous Sparta left almost nothing behind it but memories become history. Troy was, for many centuries until its site was rediscovered in the 19thC, thought to be not even legendary but mythical. New York City was created from “nothing”, from the 17thC onward, and still exists, yet the huge cities which once existed in Mexico and Central America and elsewhere have either disappeared or been supplanted (as at Mexico City) by very different successors.

Vorkuta was built on brutality and suffering, but then so was Petersburg…

The world, particularly Europe but also the Middle East, North America, Russia, stands in peril from massive and probably nuclear war. The cities of the West and Centre of Europe also stand in peril from internal strife caused mainly by migration invasion by backward hordes from other parts of the world. Our present overall culture and civilization may not survive the 21st Century, not in their current forms.

We should all be thinking about these matters and about how to salvage as much as possible of our present advanced culture and civilization, should that become necessary.

Looks like I missed out in a big way on my two visits (1993 and 2007) to Moscow! In some ways, at least… Still, they were business trips (mainly).

Having said that, there were huge changes visible in 2007 as compared to 1993, and it seems clear that the changes since 2007 have been at least as great.

Letting existing sick and disabled people continue to receive help, but cutting off help (income) from similar people in the near future, is “morally wrong“, in my view. That is almost unarguable, surely?

Starmer-stein is too busy complying with whatever Israel and the UK Jewish lobby want done to actually do anything positive for this country or its (real) inhabitants.

Russia is slowly, painfully slowly, winning by attrition. It should never have come to this, but “we are where we are”…

That is a big difference when it comes to any taxes Reeves may have to raise or any spending she may have to cut. So a growing number of Labour MPs see this subservience to the OBR and the fiscal rules as just the stupidest motivation for making today’s decisions that affect the lives of the most fragile of UK citizens – decisions that will, on the government’s own calculations, shift 150,000 vulnerable people into poverty. These MPs were bitten once by the OBR dog when Reeves chose to means-test the winter fuel allowance as proof of her fealty to the OBR’s jurisdiction over her own fiscal rules. With the disability reforms, many of them now feel twice shy. They don’t ask why a Labour government respects the OBR, especially after the Truss/Kwarteng fiscal debacle caused by their disrespect for the OBR. But they do question why the Chancellor and Treasury endow the OBR with an almost mystical ability to determine which policies are sensible and why Reeves has seemingly abdicated responsibility for trying to sell the government’s initiatives to the country’s creditors independently of the OBR and fiscal rules straitjacket. So whatever the outcome of the vote tomorrow on the welfare reforms, Reeves and Starmer are now under enormous pressure – probably irresistible pressure – to lose their OBR religion.“]

The rest of that thread is unintentionally funny: some Labourite cretin fantasizing about how much better this fake-Labour government would have been had either Liz Kendall (WHAT?!) or (Jesus H. Christ!) Gloria de Piero had become Labour leader! The latter, incidentally, was the useless and brainless TV presenter who became a “Labour-lite” MP in 2010, stepped down as MP in 2019 (knowing she would not be re-elected) and is now, thankfully, all but forgotten.[https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Gloria_De_Piero].

I do not know much about Rod Stewart, but I get the impression that he is someone who does like to give someone a chance. Starmer-stein has had his chance, and continues to do things that make him and Labour either hated or held in contempt, or both.

Needless to say, for me, Reform UK is underwhelming, not really “national”, and is pro-Jewish lobby, pro-Israel, pro-finance-capitalism etc, BUT also the only game in town to crush the existing System party set-up that has been around for so long, certainly since the 1930s, and effectively since about 1900 if not prior to that date.

For me, it scarcely matters that Reform UK is itself basically a germinal System party, because its role is to chuck Labour and Conservative parties into the dustbin of history. After that, we shall see…

Ha. If only! The Russians have rather painted themselves into a corner with the “Nazi” stuff. The fact is that the Kiev regime is basically Jew-Zionist, and allied to Israel. What has slightly surprised me over several recent years (since about 2009, when I returned to live full-time in the UK) is how utterly clueless, totally ignorant, so many MPs are, including Cabinet ministers and, indeed, Prime Ministers (Starmer-stein, Liz Truss, Boris-idiot, Theresa May, Cameron-Levita, Sunak, even Gordon Brown).

Apart from that, though, imagine a party (“Conservative” by name) which apparently intends to help Starmer-stein, Rachel Reeves, and Liz Kendall pass their social security/”welfare” cuts package, so cruel and unfeeling, and so unnecessary.

Huge amounts of money are wasted on all sorts of nonsense, such as the nuclear-weapons-carrying fighter-bombers the UK is apparently going to waste money buying from the USA. Do the cretins pretending to run this country really believe that Russia, as it now is, wants to invade Western Europe, even invade the UK? The idea is ludicrous.

Meanwhile, the only invasion that matters is continuing: 500-1,000 across the Channel most days now, with a further ~5,000 coming in “legally” as (supposedly) “high-skilled” workers (who never leave), spouses, fiancees, tourists (who never go back), “students” (who never go back) etc. Also, births to non-Europeans already here (about 1,600 births a day occur in the UK, of which the majority now are non-white). Call it a total of about 7,000. Every day…

People spend 13, often 16, sometimes as many as 20 years, in full-time education in this country, and most know FA. Truly radical change needed.

Dystopian London, on the island of strangers

Just look at that. Near-Central London. A citizen is attacked by an untermensch from God-knows-where. No station staff are around, no passers-by try to help much, or at all. The “island of strangers”, as Starmer-stein recently called it (and he ought to know— after all, he helped to bring it to birth…).

Eventually, the police do arrive, and arrest the untermensch, who struggles violently. At least that’s one detained, but how many more tens of thousands (or more) are still out there? What, anyway, will happen to that one? A suspended sentence for attempted robbery? Only a wall, and a squad, will eliminate that sort.

I know that underground station, the District/Circle Line station at Earl’s Court. In bygone days, mid-1970s and up to mid-1980s, I would go there from time to time, then walk to the now-defunct and disappeared Kensingston Rifle and Pistol Club, then located in a hidden place (unseen from the street) behind a caravan sales place at the junction of Warwick Road and Cromwell Road. The site is now yet another Tesco “superstore”.

I used to enjoy going there. Good company. Just me and my Browning. Actually, the other members were OK, if hardly the life and soul of the party. Mostly middle-aged civil servants and unspecified professionals, plus a policeman or two (I remember one policeman whose ambition it was to be on the training team for the police; as I recall, Met. Police, but the training zone was outside London, in Essex; he wanted to get paid for doing his hobby, in effect). The actor, Peter Wyngarde, was there too.

At the clubhouse bar, I used to drink rum and pineapple, mostly, but the secretary had bought a job lot of old Carlsberg Special Brew, and sold it half-price, so sometimes that as well or instead of.

Blair’s and Major’s kneejerk anti-gun laws killed off pistol and rifle clubs like that, but at least we no longer have gun crime! Oh, no, wait…

Restaurants are visibly struggling and often hideously overpriced

I had dinner in a neighbourhood where the average rent is £3,663 per month while half of all local social housing has gone to people who were not even born in the UK

I was constantly aware I should not get my phone out on the street as 80,000 were stolen last year

I also read on the way back while checking that stat that there were 90,000 shoplifting offences in London last year, up 54%

My train back —delayed—was suddenly changed at the last minute with all passengers on board.

They were told it would no longer be stopping at all stops.

I bought a tin of instant coffee on the way home and it had a security tag on it

I am very glad that I have not lived in London since 1998 (though I did live in Higher Denham, just outside London, for 6 months in 2001-2002, and worked at that time as international lawyer in London, both at Gray’s Inn, where I was leaseholder of a set of chambers, and just off Berkeley Square in Mayfair).

Ironically, my later disbarment (2016) was pronounced (by a superannuated former circuit judge chairing a 5-member panel) in the very same building where I had sat as notional “Head of Chambers” (it was actually an offshore set-up dealing with Russia, former Soviet Union, Caribbean, Brazil etc, not ordinary English Bar work), and leaseholder.

If I were to live in London today, I should probably have my Rolex watches stolen. In fact, I no longer have them anyway (sold many years ago for reasons of financial pressure, i.e. I needed the money!).

He asked if I wanted to take it any further and, honestly, I didn’t. The pointlessness of reporting a crime so long after the event is infuriating – it’s a tick-box exercise, nothing more. 

The chances of the police catching a gang with my vague description of their clothes and ethnicity must be almost nil.

Ultimately, pursuing a report would mean me enduring a bureaucratic hurdle – filling in more forms online, having more phone calls. And for what?

All of this could have been avoided if there were more police on our streets, which would serve as a deterrent to these thugs. It’s futile having a police force at all in London if they can’t adequately react to something like this.

The United States, even more than Israel, has an entitled “I can bomb you but don’t you bomb me” attitude. I well recall the scalded reaction in the USA when the World Trade Center attack happened in 2001. That only happened to other people (who, many Americans think, are scarcely people at all)…

I think that that attitude goes back at least to the Second World War, when the U.S. bombing campaign in Europe laid waste huge areas not only of Germany but of several other countries as well. At that time, there was no danger at all of any country retaliating against the U.S. mainland or its population. A feeling of invulnerability.

Farage is almost pathologically pro-Jewish lobby, and pro-Israel. That is my biggest black mark for Reform UK, and supports the theory that Reform is being lined-up to take over when the main System parties finally fall, which cannot be far off.

Hotels much the same. I was due to speak back in 1978 at the Clarendon Court Hotel, Little Venice. As a result, the Clarendon cancelled, and I had to pay out for a coach to bus people who arrived there to my new venue, a large room with a bar over a pub somewhere near the river, not far from Dolphin Square.

As to the Clarendon Court Hotel, which had once been a fairly good place (foreign Test cricket teams playing at quite-nearby Lord’s would stay there in the 1970s), the last time I saw it, around 1990 or so, it was full of…yes… “asylum-seekers”, East European Gypsies etc. Yes, that’s right…35 years ago! That crap did not start in 2024, or 2010, or even 1997.

Incidentally, the Clarendon once had an amusing notice outside, relating to its spa studio: “The Body Feminine— Entrance at Rear“!

Ah. Just looked it up. The building has evidently been extensively remodelled, and is selling as multi-million-pound apartments, like the rest of London (even the old SIS/MI6 building, Century House, at 100 Westminster Bridge Road, near Lambeth North underground, is now “luxury” apartments).

Madness. The governments of the EU states and UK do not care at all about the welfare of their own citizens.

Ha ha! Jews are quite funny (without meaning to be) a lot of the time. It’s always “all about them”, in any and all circumstances. For example, Israeli Jews destroying every single hospital in Gaza is simply war damage, and really the fault of those being bombed, but if a hospital in Israel as much as has its windows broken, it’s some kind of evil “holocaust” (and so on…).

A few hundred cowardly Jews with dual nationality leaving their own (supposed) beloved country because they wish to avoid all risk is apparently the same as the 1940 Dunkirk evacuation of the British Expeditionary Force (my own maternal grandfather having been one of those taken off the beaches then) facing possible annihilation; and with the 1940-41 London Blitz thrown in as well! People are always saying how wonderfully talented Fry is. I cannot see it, for all his fame, acting career etc. In Jeeves and Wooster, that wonderful adaptation of P.G. Wodehouse, Fry was admittedly very good as Jeeves, but Hugh Laurie was the star, really. In Gosford Park, Fry’s police inspector ruined, in my view, the atmosphere, by importing a kind of cheap comedy into the film. As for his film about Oscar Wilde, it was nowhere as good (or as historically accurate) as the 1960 film starring Peter Finch, The Trials of Oscar Wilde. Fry’s version (if I recall it aright— I have seen it, though long ago) almost completely expunged Wilde’s heterosexual side [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oscar_Wilde#London_life_and_marriage], and said little about Wilde’s life or views outside of Wilde’s obsession with Lord Alfred Douglas and various disreputable youths.

I knew a barrister who met Fry at a wedding, and said that he, the barrister, had been quite shocked at how “left-wing” (a term I myself rarely if ever use) Fry was. Said barrister was himself Labour, though of the John Smith “centrist” (?) tendency. Where Fry’s true sympathies lie is disputed: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stephen_Fry. I am unsure whether he really has what might be called an ideology. He is, of course, half-Jewish.

Iran’s most deadly missiles may not be capable of interception.

It may be (speculating wildly, so be it) that the Iranians, often though not always noted for their subtlety, have been using their “pawns” (drones and slower missiles) as sacrificial pawns (as in chess), with the idea of exhausting the Israeli supply of ground-to-air defensive missiles. Then, when the Israelis run out of countermeasures such as Iron Dome and Arrow missiles, the Iranians will launch the real stuff…

That occurs to me as I recall the arguably most famous game of the Soviet chess grandmaster Mikhail Tal (a Jew, incidentally), who sacrificed almost every piece he had on the board, even his queen, in order to deliver the final brilliant and inescapable line of moves that led to checkmate (via a minor piece, at that). I think that that game was in 1968 or thereabouts.

Re. Labour’s recent supposed “stunning victory” in the recent Hamilton by-election (Scottish Parliament): when you look at the figures, Labour won but with only 31.6% of the vote. The SNP vote fell markedly (unsurprisingly) to 29.4%, and Reform UK, which had not previously put up a candidate in the constituency, came in a close third, with 26.1%; all three main candidates were within a band of 1,400 votes.

The Conservative Party got only 6%, a huge fall from its previous vote, and the six other candidates (including the LibDem) lost their deposits.

Bad news. Why was Iran not better prepared? Not that I support the Iranian regime, as such, but I would, needless to say, never support the Jew-Zionists either.

Had I been in the responsible position in Iran, I should have prepared well in advance (as the Israelis did). Not only in the obvious ways. For example, the Iranians, via their Hezbollah proxies, and with better technical and financial resources, could have dug very deep tunnels from pro-Iran areas of Lebanon, much deeper than those uncovered in Gaza, and penetrated Northern Israel using those. Via such tunnels, mobile flying columns on jeeps, and also using armoured vehicles including armoured cars and even tanks, could then have emerged as a viable fighting force somewhere in Northern and maybe even Central Israel itself, perhaps as special forces used only to attack targets of the highest strategic importance on the ground.

Obviously, those proxy forces would then have waited before launching their attacks, not (as they did) attacking prematurely a couple of years ago. Co-ordination. Strategy. Logic. Remember Clausewitz— concentration of forces; Schwerpunkte.

Typical. “They” are always bullies, but cringe when they themselves are attacked, and then present themselves as “victims”.

Netanyahu claims that Iran has or had 20,000 missiles, not the 3,000 figure bandied about. That means that, even if the Israelis are destroying 95% of those incoming, there might yet be up to 1,000 able to reach their targets.

As previously blogged, for me the three main strategic targets in Israel must be the city of Tel Aviv (particularly targets of military or economic importance), the Ben-Gurion Airport 12 miles southeast of Tel Aviv, and the Dimona nuclear research/weapons complex in the Negev Desert in southern Israel.

There may be other worthy targets of strategic importance unknown to me (and/or completely secret) of course, but concentration of forces doctrine dictates choice of target; not everything can be hit by an attacking force anyway.

Interesting. So the Israelis hide command centres under civilian hospitals…is that why they destroyed the hospitals in Gaza, because they knew or assumed that Hamas was doing the same?

Of course, these days in the UK, people cannot be identified as Roma Gypsies; they must always be referred to as “Romanians”, which is both inaccurate and, also, insulting to real Romanians.

A similar pathology is seen in the reporting about the dreadful Air India crash a couple of days ago. We are told that, among the hundreds of dead in the crash, 53 were “British”. On Thursday night, Air India confirmed that 241 of those on board had been killed in the crash, with a Briton, Vishwash Kumar Ramesh, the sole survivor.”

Another example of this distorting-mirror is when German soldiers, sailors, or airmen of WW2 are referred to, even in large contingents, as “Nazis” (National Socialists). Thus we might read (or hear on the BBC) that such and such number of “Nazi ships” were in a sea battle, or that “Nazi armies” did this or that.

I happened to be somewhere not far from my home (coastal southern England) and passed two men talking. As I walked past, I caught a sentence or two of the conversation. One man (about 55, perhaps) was saying to the other that “it will not be long before civil war starts in this country“. Interesting…

Not a traditional type of civil war, at an educated guess. Not a typical “race war” or ethnic conflict either, but more of a multiform civil/racial/social/cultural war, and one with more than two sides; perhaps several, or even many, sides.

I shall be watching events with keen interest.
