A rather nice Chevy Suburban. I wanted to get one of those a few years ago, but they are expensive when sold new in the UK; there are almost none used on sale, and actually they are not so convenient either, being heavy on fuel consumption and also rather outsize for roads and (especially) the cramped parking places in this country. The same is true of the Lincoln Navigator, though there are usually a few used ones for sale in the UK at reasonable prices.

Quite interesting, despite the occasionally (unintentionally-) amusing commentary. The title or subtitle is a bit silly (though arguably borne out by the content).

Worth seeing. The lady at 12:54, dressed in mauve, is particularly stylish.

Petersburg is one of the few cities in the world which I both want to see and have not already visited.

Same situation exists in the UK in respect of the so-called “Campaign Against Antisemitism” or “CAA”, a pack of malicious, lying, perjuring Jew-Zionists. Effectively a volunteer offshoot of the Israeli Embassy in London (albeit that some of them are paid out of large funds donated from wealthy Jews in the UK, and from Israel), they make unfounded and untrue allegations to police, professional regulators, and others (eg the Crown Prosecution Service), and try to close down venues hosting anyone supposedly “antisemitic”. Glastonbury is their latest large target.

Latest example? Published by the malicious “CAA” cabal only this morning:

Of course, standards of education in the United States have always been poor. In the Second World War, German Military Intelligence officers were dumbfounded to discover, after the Normandy Landings of 1944, that many American military units were regularly supplied with comic books for the troops’ reading matter.

Anyone who has lived in the United States will be aware at what a rock-bottom level is the education and general knowledge even of many of those at university graduate or professional levels.

Unfortunately, that is also slowly becoming more true of the UK than it was in the past.

This afternoon, I was walking through Huntingdon (Cambridgeshire) on my way to the station when I heard a thud and a scream behind me. I turned round to see that a woman had fallen on the broken paving stones and was writhing in pain. I and the owner of a nearby tattoo parlour went to assist. The woman was complaining of pain in her arms, legs, and left hip. She was in shock and very distressed. She said she didn’t feel she could get up, even with assistance. Her breathing was laboured. I insist that we can’t just leave her on the hard pavement for 4 hours in the hope of a clinician deciding if an ambulance is needed, and that she needs to be checked out at the hospital asap. Any delay might exacerbate her injuries. Call handler says she is following protocol and that this ” is the most appropriate action”. I disagree, explain again that the woman has fallen on a concrete surface and can’t move, and her breathing is laboured, but it’s clear call handler won’t budge. The call ends with call handler telling me to shield the woman from the sun! Er… how? “Put a coat over her.” It’s 34C, and she’s telling me to procure a coat… I hang up, and after 5 mins, redial. A more switched on call handler responds this time. Ambulance arrives in about 8 mins. Had I not made that second call, the woman would have remained on the pavement for hours. The lady is now back at home.“]

Shocking, and a similar incident happened near me, at the local Waitrose, I think 2 years ago. By the time I passed by, the victim was already being attended to by Waitrose staff and some others, either her family or stray customers. I naturally assumed that an ambulance would be there before too long. In fact, Waitrose people told me the next day that an ambulance only arrived after 4 hours.

Having said that, I have also seen some sterling work both by ambulance paramedics and other NHS staff, but that is what happens in gradual societal collapse— it is indeed gradual, not the same everywhere, rather hit and miss.

Britain is not collapsing overnight, or in one year, or even in one decade. This is characteristic. When the Soviet Union eventually collapsed, and that took several years (some would argue, decades), the momentum of habit kept things running normally in places, even as near-chaos happened elsewhere.

I recall seeing a TV news piece from the BBC (I think) in the early 1990s about Yeltsin’s post-Soviet Russian society. I myself had already been there, in 1993, though not for long and only in and around Moscow.

In that news report, we saw a uniformed lady in some small place outside Moscow. She was the station-mistress of a very small railway station, just a halt really. Despite not having been paid at all for four years (!) she still kept the station clean, planted and weeded the flower troughs, and was there for most of the arrivals and departures during the day.

Was it Aristotle who said that civilization was immanent, something inherent, or inborn? Maybe it was St. Thomas Aquinas. Ah…looking now at Wikipedia, it seems not; quite the reverse, in fact: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Immanence.

Never mind. My point here is that people often go on doing their duty even as society decays and collapses. Some people, anyway.

The NHS is a bit of a touchstone in the UK. For some, it is unique, envied worldwide, the greatest development of Britain, ever, and staffed by wise medics, angelic nurses, and public-spirited support staff. For others, it is a giant waste of money, badly-organized, and run largely for the benefit of its own employees. Examples of all of the above can be found, even in the same hospital or relating to the same patient’s care, and easily enough.

The same with society generally. Parts of UK society can be seen, even today, as advanced, optimistic, worthy of admiration. Other parts of our society can, equally objectively, be seen as horrible, toxic, and worthy of being eradicated, exterminated.

A process such as the development, or decline, of a society cannot easily be seen fairly or accurately by people who themselves are within that process. cf. the “Fall of the Roman Empire”, a complex process that took place over hundreds of years.

Nevil Shute, quoting T.S. Eliot, put it well at the end of his once-famous novel On the Beach (as a child of 10-13 in 1960s Australia, I noticed that almost every house had a copy): “...this is how the world ends, not with a bang but a whimper“. At what point do British people say that the present “one man one vote” supposedly representative “democracy” has become invalid (for several reasons, one being that only real English/Welsh/Scots/British people should be allowed to vote)? An open question.

I live only 15-20 miles from Southampton (depending on route etc). Alien, in several ways. As for Reading, I was born there (in 1956), but when I last saw it, some 18 years ago, 2007 I think, both the central parts and some of the outlying parts to the east had changed out of all recognition, though the area where I spent part of my childhood and part of my teenage years, Caversham Heights (on higher ground on the other side of the river from the main town) had not changed very much.

The Kiev regime is losing 1,000-2,000 soldiers daily, perhaps more (especially if you include medivac cases and desertions) . That is a rate of attrition that must lead to the collapse of the front-line before very long.

Rachel Reeves. Hateful woman. Member of Labour Friends of Israel. Thought she was so tough as she hit those she thought unable to defend themselves— pensioners, the sick, the disabled etc.

As a confirmed “supporter” (near-agent) of Israel and the Jewish lobby, Rachel Reeves has no interest in the dead of Gaza (or the poor of the UK, come to that).

Labour is just a label now. In fact, one of its least impressive MPs, Jess Phillips (an expenses cheat, freeloader, and moneygrubber) admitted as much several years ago.

Rachel Reeves and her husband, combined, are dragging down a total of about half a million pounds a year.

I should love to see her lose her Commons seat too. 2029?

My advice to her is to get on your broomstick and fly far away, until you are forgotten (should take a few weeks).

Yes to more English/British children, but no to more children from non-whites resident in the UK.

Even that does not tell the whole story, because quite a high proportion of the grandmothers, or grandfathers, or both, of the remaining 66% are in fact also non-white, non-European.

About 1,600 babies are born daily in the UK. Only about 400 of those are actually English/British, or fully English/British.

8 out of 10 of those countries are very backward, and so are most of the people. As for “Romanians“, I would be prepared to bet that most, the vast majority, are not real Romanians at all but Roma Gypsies.

He cannot now conveniently travel in either Russia or the USA, and is believed to live and/or have property in Surrey, south-west of London.

According to Wikipedia etc, Steele acted as a paid FBI source between 2014-2016, and was paid around USD $100,000 in toto.

In my opinion, probably not at all reliable.

As an outsider, not involved in secret activities, I have always been sceptical of the value of the SIS/MI6 apparat. I still am. Where are the successes? (and it is no answer to reply that they have to be kept secret).

Looking at Steele’s tweet, I might bat back at him the same question, but about his own activity— cui bono?

I have just looked at a few recent tweets by Steele. He is, it seems to me, in danger of becoming obsessed by the idea of Trump as Russian secret (or not-so-secret) agent.

Reform has probably fallen back a bit by reason of two factors: its kneejerk pro-Israel, pro-Jewish lobby pronouncements, and the perception (seen in comments by pro-Reform Matt Goodwin, as well in some by Tice etc) that Reform wants to radically cut back the Welfare State.

As for the Conservative Party, probably damaged beyond repair now. 14 years of terrible misgovernment in almost all if not all areas, and now “led” by hopeless Nigerian woman Kemi Badenoch.

The only thing that makes System MPs afraid is […COMMENT REDACTED because the UK no longer has much freedom of speech…].

That is because Starmer-stein and his cabal are not really a Labour government, except in terms of label; they are a Labour Friends of Israel regime. Starmer, Rachel Reeves, Liz Kendall, all of that rubbish lot.

High Peak is an unfortunate constituency. First they had Conservative Friends of Israel MP Robert Largan (2017-2024), now they have Labour Friends of Israel MP Jon Pearce (2024-). The difference is mainly the party label.

More seriously, Basic Income is the way forward. Akin to Pension (Guarantee) Credit, but rolled out to every (real) English/British citizen (i.e. not fuzzie-wuzzies straight off the boats).

95% or more of the vulgarly-named “Jobcentres” could be shut down, 99.99% of the ludicrously-named “job coaches” etc (most of whom are probably otherwise unemployable themselves) could be dismissed; huge numbers of buildings could be shut down, saving billions.

I have only ever met one person who has been to Vorkuta, and his was an involuntary visit that lasted for many years; a Pole sent there as a young man, I think in or about 1940, along with many others. I believe that he somehow survived a decade there, and was eventually repatriated to his family in Bielsko-Biala, south-west Poland. Maybe about 65 when I met him and his family in 1988, he was a bit of a tough guy, and he must indeed have been tough, in more youthful days, to survive for 10 years as a prisoner and slave-labourer in Vorkuta.

Looking at that film (above), I am again struck by the harshness and brutality that humans can inflict on each other, but also by the incredible resilience and ability to create that humans have.

Vorkuta, like other cities in inhospitable areas and harsh climates (Magadan, Norilsk etc) which were wholly a product of the Stalinist period of the Soviet system (Vorkuta did not exist even as a hamlet until the 1930s), had at one time (1960s, 1970s, 1980s) a real city life, with a railway station, buses, an airport, a city theatre, hospitals, cinemas, sports centres, even a symphony orchestra; also, some fairly impressive-looking official buildings.

Vorkuta had, at one time, 115,000 inhabitants. The real population is now thought to be well below 50,000, perhaps as low as 30,000.

My point is that civilization is not a simple continuum. Rudolf Steiner, Valentin Tomberg etc have described human evolution as a staggered spiral. There can be breaks in the spiral. Civilizations or cultures arise, but also decay and disappear. Amazing places can be created and built out of “nothing”, but those same places can fall to pieces and disappear even from memory and/or from recorded history.

The beautiful city of St. Petersburg was created from swamp and forest by the vision, in origo, of one man, Peter the Great, and still exists, now with millions of inhabitants (it is commonly said to be the 4th or even 3rd-largest city in Europe, depending on whether Istanbul is accepted as European). On the other hand, famous Sparta left almost nothing behind it but memories become history. Troy was, for many centuries until its site was rediscovered in the 19thC, thought to be not even legendary but mythical. New York City was created from “nothing”, from the 17thC onward, and still exists, yet the huge cities which once existed in Mexico and Central America and elsewhere have either disappeared or been supplanted (as at Mexico City) by very different successors.

Vorkuta was built on brutality and suffering, but then so was Petersburg…

The world, particularly Europe but also the Middle East, North America, Russia, stands in peril from massive and probably nuclear war. The cities of the West and Centre of Europe also stand in peril from internal strife caused mainly by migration invasion by backward hordes from other parts of the world. Our present overall culture and civilization may not survive the 21st Century, not in their current forms.

We should all be thinking about these matters and about how to salvage as much as possible of our present advanced culture and civilization, should that become necessary.

They don’t ask why a Labour government respects the OBR, especially after the Truss/Kwarteng fiscal debacle caused by their disrespect for the OBR. But they do question why the Chancellor and Treasury endow the OBR with an almost mystical ability to determine which policies are sensible and why Reeves has seemingly abdicated responsibility for trying to sell the government’s initiatives to the country’s creditors independently of the OBR and fiscal rules straitjacket. So whatever the outcome of the vote tomorrow on the welfare reforms, Reeves and Starmer are now under enormous pressure – probably irresistible pressure – to lose their OBR religion.“]

I am surprised that Iran has (apparently) not thought of using 1980s-style Soviet-engineered atomic “suitcase bombs” in both the USA and Israel. The original ones were powerful enough to destroy anything within a radius of about 1-2 miles of the point of detonation.

Quite dispersed. At least 6 or 7 target zones. I have seen tweets suggesting nearly over 500 actual points of impact.

Remember Clausewitz. Concentration of forces. Schwerpunkt.

People generally are pretty tired of that whole hypocrisy of government saying that cuts to disability and other State benefits are somehow being “kind” or “caring”. Not so. At best, callous and aimed at “saving money” (which will then be really wasted, elsewhere). At worst, a refined form of cruelty and indeed sadism. Ian Dunce Duncan Smith, a fraud, an expenses cheat, and a total deadhead, was one of the first to do this.

In the end, some form of Basic Income, even if very modest, must be the way forward. End the bureaucratic nonsense of jumping through hoops, snooping, “assessments” etc.

Starmer-stein— no ideals, no ideas, no decency, no honesty. Just a freeloading, careerist, pro-Jewish lobby, pro-Israel, little bastard. Utterly clueless and incompetent as well.

I too agree. As I blogged at the time of the Brize Norton incursion, had the MOD or RAF had even one dozy security guard or policeman, unarmed but awake, on duty, the protesters would have been scared off or, even if not scared off, easily detained or arrested within a few minutes, once back-up had been summoned.

Ah. Interesting. Looks as though the numbers of alleged victims have been edited down. I thought that the Jews/Israelis were still claiming that about 1,000, or even 1,500, had been killed. Seems that (as happened at the “reconstructed” site of the early 1940s Auschwitz camp, where a “4 million victims” sign was officially altered to about a quarter of that figure), the 1,500 supposedly killed by Palestinian Arabs in southern Israel in 2023 is now 378, at least at the festival itself. The other hundreds of victims, if they existed at all, were presumably killed by the brutal Israeli armed forces themselves as “collateral damage”.

None of that, though, explains how the Israeli Jews (and those supporting them in the UK and elsewhere) think that the deaths of 378 Jews etc by a particular paramilitary/political group somehow justifies the killing by Israeli Jewish forces of anything up to 200,000 Palestinian Arabs, mostly civilian, mostly women and children (about half of the victims being under 18 years of age). Retaliation? Revenge? Blood lust? Cruelty and sadism?

The disproportion is incredible.

Bombing, white phosphorus bombing, flamethrower attacks, drone attacks, shooting, grenade attacks, cutting off of medical supplies, cutting off of food, cutting off of water, shooting people lining up for food and water.

“They” are still whining about (alleged) German actions 80-95 years ago, yet look at what is happening now in Gaza, the West Bank, Iran etc!

Of course, the Israeli Jewish game-plan seems to be to kill as many Gazans as possible, and to incarcerate the rest in concentration camps (under some such name as “safe areas”), so that Jews can colonize Gaza again.

Is it surprising, really? After all, the State of Israel was founded on “ethnic cleansing”, massacres of Arab civilians (men, women, and children), and theft of land and housing. I was asked for money by homeless people 3 times in one day

I noticed several people who are paid to give information to taxpayers and tourists over the tannoy on the London Tube cannot speak English properly

A cabbie told me “London is dead most nights”, unless you are the global high net worth set or top 1%

Restaurants are visibly struggling and often hideously overpriced

I had dinner in a neighbourhood where the average rent is £3,663 per month while half of all local social housing has gone to people who were not even born in the UK

I was constantly aware I should not get my phone out on the street as 80,000 were stolen last year

I also read on the way back while checking that stat that there were 90,000 shoplifting offences in London last year, up 54%

My train back —delayed—was suddenly changed at the last minute with all passengers on board.

They were told it would no longer be stopping at all stops.

I bought a tin of instant coffee on the way home and it had a security tag on it

Of course, the migrant-invaders see nothing the matter with London as it now is, because where they come from is worse yet. They are from Bombay and Bangalore, the slums of teeming South Asian and East Asian cities, the ramshackle neighbourhoods of Lagos or Accra, or wherever.

Look at London’s Mayor, Sadiq Khan, a Muslim apostate carpetbagger in the pocket of the Jew-Zionist lobby. He himself is part of the problem, but only part.

I am very glad that I have not lived in London since 1998 (though I did live in Higher Denham, just outside London, for 6 months in 2001-2002, and worked at that time as international lawyer in London, both at Gray’s Inn, where I was leaseholder of a set of chambers, and just off Berkeley Square in Mayfair).

Ironically, my later disbarment (2016) was pronounced (by a superannuated former circuit judge chairing a 5-member panel) in the very same building where I had sat as notional “Head of Chambers” (it was actually an offshore set-up dealing with Russia, former Soviet Union, Caribbean, Brazil etc, not ordinary English Bar work), and leaseholder.

If I were to live in London today, I should probably have my Rolex watches stolen. In fact, I no longer have them anyway (sold many years ago for reasons of financial pressure, i.e. I needed the money!).

Even were I to hit the Euromillions lottery, and so be able to live in a Nash terrace at Regent’s Park, I doubt that I should bother.

But at the time they were due to arrive, they rang to say they couldn’t come because they couldn’t find an available police car.

Really? The station is barely a half-hour walk away. Disappointed, I had to make do with discussing it over the phone with the officer instead. Such muggings were, he said, ‘rife’ in the capital at the moment.

He asked if I wanted to take it any further and, honestly, I didn’t. The pointlessness of reporting a crime so long after the event is infuriating – it’s a tick-box exercise, nothing more. 

The chances of the police catching a gang with my vague description of their clothes and ethnicity must be almost nil.

Ultimately, pursuing a report would mean me enduring a bureaucratic hurdle – filling in more forms online, having more phone calls. And for what?

All of this could have been avoided if there were more police on our streets, which would serve as a deterrent to these thugs. It’s futile having a police force at all in London if they can’t adequately react to something like this.

The United States, even more than Israel, has an entitled “I can bomb you but don’t you bomb me” attitude. I well recall the scalded reaction in the USA when the World Trade Center attack happened in 2001. That only happened to other people (who, many Americans think, are scarcely people at all)…

I think that that attitude goes back at least to the Second World War, when the U.S. bombing campaign in Europe laid waste huge areas not only of Germany but of several other countries as well. At that time, there was no danger at all of any country retaliating against the U.S. mainland or its population. A feeling of invulnerability.

Farage is almost pathologically pro-Jewish lobby, and pro-Israel. That is my biggest black mark for Reform UK, and supports the theory that Reform is being lined-up to take over when the main System parties finally fall, which cannot be far off.

Ecce the Nigerian woman who will soon (next general election) be “leader” of a Conservative Party with as few as 10 MPs. I imagine, though, that her MPs will dump her by the end of this year.

The premium for being slavishly pro-Israel is not high when the leaders of “Labour” and Reform UK, maybe the LibDems too, are no different.

Hotels much the same. I was due to speak back in 1978 at the Clarendon Court Hotel, Little Venice. As a result, the Clarendon cancelled, and I had to pay out for a coach to bus people who arrived there to my new venue, a large room with a bar over a pub somewhere near the river, not far from Dolphin Square.

As to the Clarendon Court Hotel, which had once been a fairly good place (foreign Test cricket teams playing at quite-nearby Lord’s would stay there in the 1970s), the last time I saw it, around 1990 or so, it was full of…yes… “asylum-seekers”, East European Gypsies etc. Yes, that’s right…35 years ago! That crap did not start in 2024, or 2010, or even 1997.

Incidentally, the Clarendon once had an amusing notice outside, relating to its spa studio: “The Body Feminine— Entrance at Rear“!

Ah. Just looked it up. The building has evidently been extensively remodelled, and is selling as multi-million-pound apartments, like the rest of London (even the old SIS/MI6 building, Century House, at 100 Westminster Bridge Road, near Lambeth North underground, is now “luxury” apartments).

Madness. The governments of the EU states and UK do not care at all about the welfare of their own citizens.

Ha ha! Jews are quite funny (without meaning to be) a lot of the time. It’s always “all about them”, in any and all circumstances. For example, Israeli Jews destroying every single hospital in Gaza is simply war damage, and really the fault of those being bombed, but if a hospital in Israel as much as has its windows broken, it’s some kind of evil “holocaust” (and so on…).

A few hundred cowardly Jews with dual nationality leaving their own (supposed) beloved country because they wish to avoid all risk is apparently the same as the 1940 Dunkirk evacuation of the British Expeditionary Force (my own maternal grandfather having been one of those taken off the beaches then) facing possible annihilation; and with the 1940-41 London Blitz thrown in as well! No wonder so many Jews are comedians…

Having said that, I believe that the lady tweeter is herself at least partly Jewish, but not (not completely, anyway) pro-Israel.

People are always saying how wonderfully talented Fry is. I cannot see it, for all his fame, acting career etc. In Jeeves and Wooster, that wonderful adaptation of P.G. Wodehouse, Fry was admittedly very good as Jeeves, but Hugh Laurie was the star, really. In Gosford Park, Fry’s police inspector ruined, in my view, the atmosphere, by importing a kind of cheap comedy into the film. As for his film about Oscar Wilde, it was nowhere as good (or as historically accurate) as the 1960 film starring Peter Finch, The Trials of Oscar Wilde. Fry’s version (if I recall it aright— I have seen it, though long ago) almost completely expunged Wilde’s heterosexual side [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Oscar_Wilde#London_life_and_marriage], and said little about Wilde’s life or views outside of Wilde’s obsession with Lord Alfred Douglas and various disreputable youths.

I knew a barrister who met Fry at a wedding, and said that he, the barrister, had been quite shocked at how “left-wing” (a term I myself rarely if ever use) Fry was. Said barrister was himself Labour, though of the John Smith “centrist” (?) tendency. Where Fry’s true sympathies lie is disputed: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Stephen_Fry. I am unsure whether he really has what might be called an ideology. He is, of course, half-Jewish.

Iran’s most deadly missiles may not be capable of interception.

It may be (speculating wildly, so be it) that the Iranians, often though not always noted for their subtlety, have been using their “pawns” (drones and slower missiles) as sacrificial pawns (as in chess), with the idea of exhausting the Israeli supply of ground-to-air defensive missiles. Then, when the Israelis run out of countermeasures such as Iron Dome and Arrow missiles, the Iranians will launch the real stuff…

That occurs to me as I recall the arguably most famous game of the Soviet chess grandmaster Mikhail Tal (a Jew, incidentally), who sacrificed almost every piece he had on the board, even his queen, in order to deliver the final brilliant and inescapable line of moves that led to checkmate (via a minor piece, at that). I think that that game was in 1968 or thereabouts.

Horrifying. A form of infanticide or even murder, in lay terms. The deliberate killing of a completely viable foetus (which after all only means unborn baby). When you consider that it is commonplace for babies to be born days or even weeks prematurely, and then go on to thrive, this proposed law, which will obviously become law now, decriminalizes the killing of any unborn child, even if done only hours, minutes, seconds even, before actual birth, and for any reason whatsoever, so long as the expectant mother does the killing. Truly horrifying.

Not sure whether the new law will validate that, exactly, because the killing will (from what I have read, anyway) have to be by the mother to escape legal sanction.

The fastest bird in level flight (top speed: 69mph/111kph), they feed on airborne insects. Swifts are in trouble because of steep declines in insects, but also because they are losing traditional nesting sites. Swifts once nested in caves and hollow trees but moved into buildings hundreds of years ago. Modern insulation, particularly in roofs, removes the crevices and cavities where they have nested for centuries.

What are the prospects for swifts?

Grim. Swift populations in Britain slumped by 66% between 1995 and 2022 and have continued a rapid downward trend. Since the last count of 59,000 breeding pairs, the population this summer is set to be just 40,000 pairs. In five years’ time there could be fewer than 25,000, unless action is taken.

A swift brick is a hollow brick that slots into the brickwork of new or old homes, providing a cavity where swifts can nest. The bricks have also been found to help other cavity-nesting birds, including the rapidly declining red-listed house martin, house sparrow and starling. Other species including blue tits, great tits, nuthatches and wrens will also nest in the bricks.

Swift bricks are made by brick manufacturers large and small, and typically cost about £35. There is a British standard for them and some developers are already fitting them to new homes.

Amusing to see rubbish newspapers in the UK, such as the Daily Mirror, talking about what occupations might be exempt from conscription if WW3 were to start! In the nuclear age, when immensely powerful missiles can reach UK targets in minutes (I am told, maybe 8 minutes) from launch sites thousands of miles away…

I wonder how many people actually read and believe all this 1940-cosplay?

The fact remains that, in any continental-level war, with Russia on one side, and NATO states on the other, the UK would quite soon be a charred and irradiated giant bombsite. In that terrible scenario, the Daily Mirror, the other “lying Press” outlets, and warmongers such as Tobias Ellwood, would be among the first to go (whether with a bang or a whimper).
