When I lived in Devon and Cornwall (both, first in a large country house in Cornwall, then in a farmhouse in Devon), I would see badgers at night quite often; sometimes, on the Devon side of the Tamar, I would drive down an almost unused single-track lane at night which was a back-lane off a back-lane. Russia could, in theory, tell the United States that, should the US bomb Iran, Russia will bomb or rocket Israel. That would stalemate the situation, and stop the Americans from attacking Iran. It might also trigger WW3, though, and make “Armageddon” reality, both in Israel/Palestine and elsewhere.

As to Matt Goodwin, at first I thought him just a minor academic who had woken up to the madness of permitting mass immigration etc and so had, shall we say, “modified” his views.
Later, more recently, I thought that Goodwin was either trying to lay the basis for a new political movement, with himself as the director —and/but for genuine reasons— or perhaps was trying to make money out of it; his Substack blog is monetized and he now has 24,000 paying (?) subscribers.
Now I really wonder whether Goodwin is under some sort of “control”. His views as expressed have undergone a considerable metamorphosis over the past few years. Of course, people do often, and genuinely, change their views, either “just because” or because they see the impossible-to-ignore in front of them.
Goodwin’s pro-Israelism, and apparent pro-Jewish lobby views, give me cause for concern.

The msm in the UK, USA etc can no longer conceal the military crisis overwhelming the Jew-Zionist regime in Kiev. The military chief, Zaluzhny, has been replaced, and the ranks of the Kiev-regime forces are being thinned by both battlefield casualties and the unwillingness of both Ukrainian men and foreign volunteers and mercenaries to serve.
The foreigners have mostly been killed, captured, or have returned home, while Ukrainian men in very large numbers are avoiding the draft, either by remaining in foreign countries or by keeping their heads down in Ukraine itself. The Kiev regime employs brutal press-gangs to capture draft-evaders. One has to ask, though, whether people forced to join up under violent duress are going to be of much use in the field.
Strategically, as noted on the blog for 2 years now, Russia cannot lose this conflict, and will not. Tactically, both sides have encountered problems, but in terms of both manpower and arms, Russia now has the edge, very obviously.
I would not rule out a large-scale Russian offensive in 2024, though it may be that Putin will prefer to see what happens politically in the USA first. The US Presidential Election is in November 2024.

People usually want things to be black-and-white, simple. Not everything is black-and-white. Look at modern history. It seems to me —as far as I have read etc— that Israel is now quite centralized on Tel Aviv and its region, though the Jerusalem area has as many or more inhabitants. The economy is centred on that region.
