News from the migration invasion

Keep importing inferior populations from the worst parts of the world and you will soon see how fragile civilization is— and I do not mean by reason of protests or other resistance by English people. I mean that the sheer weight of numbers of the migrant-invaders and the nature of their cultural, political, and religious norms will destroy our civilized, white European, English/British society utterly, even if there were to be no more protests at all by English/British people.

You can see what is already happening in our society, and again I am not referring to the protests. Consider what this society will be like in 4, 5, 10, 20, 50 years. Dystopian.

Moreover, those immigrants, alien though they were (and their descendants are), were from Commonwealth countries formerly part of our great Empire. Many of the present migrants, especially the rubber-boat invaders, are even more alien. Afghans, various types of Arabs, other Muslims, and Africans from, literally, “Darkest Africa” (Congo, Liberia etc); those, and every other kind of non-European.

Incredibly, despite his interventions on the world stage having been either negative or a complete joke, Starmer-stein still seems to imagine that he is some kind of world statesman…

Good, but that becomes impossible when the UK is being swamped by a million or more migrant-invaders (rubber boat invaders, other asylum-seekers, visa-holders who are economic migrants, births to non-Europeans and to British women impregnated by non-Europeans) every single year.

As Lenin said, “Worse will be better“. First, get rid of the main System parties by the voters voting for Reform UK in huge numbers, thus allowing Reform to get into power.

Secondly, after Reform fails to take the measures necessary because riddled with Jewish lobby and other non-European influences and candidates, or because Reform’s legislation is blocked in the Lords (where Reform is not represented at all— zero peers out of 836 sitting), or blocked by hostile senior judges, the frustrated will of the people will provide the chance for real social nationalism to arise.

The fox escaped the hunters that time, thank God. People know that to be sent to the crumbling front lines of the Kiev regime is a death sentence. 800,000 are hiding from the draft inside Ukraine.

What on Earth does John McTernan think that national and other flags are all about?! They are about a group identity, as against other identities (whether that group is also part of another identity, with another flag, or not). I do not think I ever saw the flag of St. George until one day, when I was about 7, about 1963, I was near St. Peter’s, Caversham (Church of England), on the other side of the Thames from Reading. I noticed the flag flying from the ancient tower. I had no idea what it even was.

This terrible and bitter war should never have happened. Russia should have done what the old Soviet Union was famous for— a swift and overwhelming onslaught and occupation, “a Blitzkrieg for the sake of mercy”, if you like. The Russian General Staff, Army, and GRU (etc) messed it up, terribly. It should never have been like this. Civilians and their companion animals should never have been hurt or killed. Having said that, we are in this situation. Russia must come out on top, even if that falls short of both total victory and a perfect post-conflict settlement.

The collapse of the Kiev regime armies and the regime itself cannot now be far off.

Saw brief interview, on either Sky News or BBC News, with one Steve Smith, yesterday, interviewed from his home in rural Cornwall. He is the CEO of Care4Calais, the pro-migration invasion “charity”, which has been repeatedly censured for mismanagement, misapplication of funds etc, though mostly or entirely prior to Smith’s leadership role.

Smith’s predecessor, Clare Moseley, was so fanatically pro-invader that, in France, she allowed one or two invaders to share her bed on many occasions, and not innocently. A former Army colonel, the said Smith came across on TV news as what many might term a “smug git” and, after all, no-one is going to make him, in his rural Cornish idyll, live in some festering UK urban slum area alongside migrant-invaders from backward parts of the world.

I agree with that position. Russia should rule all of Eastern Ukraine (Ukraine east of the Dnieper); also Crimea, and the littoral of the Black Sea and the Sea of Azov. Kiev and Odessa should either be standalone “free cities”, or run as condominia (between Russia and an independent and neutral Ukrainian state centred on Lvov).

Well, I cannot speak as to any of those details, but right from the start I felt that there was something not quite right about Paul Mason. I have blogged about him previously, two or three years ago.

First of all, despite having trained as a musician, and worked as such, and also having lectured in musical studies at Loughborough (Leicestershire), Mason (a quarter-Jew, one of his grandparents having immigrated from Lithuania), never having had any formal financial or economics training, suddenly appears as a freelance financial journalist in London in 1991 at age 31 (after a “missing” three years). Then, from 2001, he is seen on shows such as Newsnight (as Business Editor), and his political persona at that time is a kind of semi-Marxist and semi-anarcho-syndicalist mixture, hard to pin down.

You can see from that piece how, over the years, Mason has veered from so-called “left-wing Communism” and Trotskyism to (he himself claims) “social democracy” and both Marxism and post-Marxism. At one point, he was writing in support of Jeremy Corbyn. More recently, Mason declared himself a supporter of Keir Starmer.

You see the point. Politically, for all his worn-on-the sleeve pseudo-radicalism, Mason is the political grey man, superficially at home here, there, and everywhere. He sort-of fits in almost anywhere in the (generally anti-British type of) political milieu, almost like a secret agent of some sort…

In one matter, Mason has always been consistent: he has always supported dictatorship and repression of opposing views and dissenting opinions:

His age is no bar; there are plenty of unfortunate Ukrainians aged 55+ serving on the crumbling front-lines of the Kiev regime.

In fact, Jewish dictator Zelensky would love to have even one overweight middle-aged drunk volunteer; hundreds of thousands of Ukrainian soldiers have deserted (apparently, about 200,000 in the past year or so), and about 800,000 Ukrainians are currently hiding from the draft (and the press-gangs) inside Ukraine. Not to mention the hundreds of thousands, if not millions, dodging the draft by staying outside Ukraine’s borders.

Moscow is about 300 miles north/northeast, Petersburg far further (about 530 miles due north of the nearest Ukrainian border). However, those missiles could reach smaller cities to the north, northeast, and east of Ukrainian territory.

That opinion poll translates to a Commons with no less than 450 Reform UK MPs, Lab 61, LibDems 52, SNP 43, Cons 14, Greens 6 (etc).

Whether you call it (were it to happen) a very large majority for Reform, a “supermajority”, or a peaceful revolution, the fact is that such a result would render the existing System parties irrelevant and, certainly in the case of the Conservative Party, redundant, or near-dead.

Among Con Party MPs for the chop would be Kemi Badenoch, Suella Braverman, Priti Patel, Kit Malthouse, Mel Stride, and Robert Jenrick. I have not worked out who would be among the 14 left standing, but that would be merely of academic interest anyway, were there to be such a cull.

Cleverly was a bad joke as Foreign Secretary but not by reason of the fact that, like David Lammy, he is non-white (actually a half-caste), because Liz Truss and “Boris”-idiot were both mainly white British, and they were also bad jokes in the role (and both later became bad-joke Prime Ministers). Cleverly was a bad joke, like all others mentioned, by reason of his ignorance and stupidity.

The lady tweeter might like to note what all of those (Badenoch, Sunak, Cleverly) except Jenrick have in common— non-whites. Most British voters will, even after decades of msm brainwashing, not prefer a non-white as Prime Minister. It is not the only factor voters take into account, but it is one factor. They are, in effect, not even voting for MPs, but for a party, and a Prime Minister-designate.

I should imagine that the lady tweeter, Fiona-Natasha Syms, once married to —and employed via expenses by— a Conservative MP who lost his seat by only 7 votes in 2024) is correct that Jenrick will replace Badenoch as Con Party leader. Jenrick is not merely, in neurolinguistic terms, modelling Farage and Reform UK, but almost mirroring them.

The Conservative Party is actually without a purpose or role now. The England (Britain, but mainly England) from which it came has largely disappeared. Its former heartland or core— the rural counties, the patriotic working and middle classes and the landowning and factory-owning classes, have all morphed into different creatures entirely.

The Empire, Commonwealth (in any real way), monarchy, have gone, or effectively gone to perdition. The Con Party in 2025 is basically the property of the Jew-Zionist lobby, the Indian and other ultra-wealthy cabals etc, and is totally out of touch with British people and events.

Civil wars (which is really what the Russia-Ukraine conflict is) are bitter and awkward. The USA really only emerged from the shadow of the American Civil War a century or so after it finished; maybe in the 1980s, so well over a century later.

Of course. At age 25, they will be drafted. Their answer? To flee the fake state of “Ukraine” and try to live elsewhere. To be drafted, and then sent to the Kiev regime’s crumbling front lines, is a death sentence.

The problem is not, mainly, high taxation, as such (so long as that does not seem utterly confiscatory), but —quite precisely— what those taxation monies are spent on.

I am no expert on aviation, but my understanding is that, unlike commercial-fleet passenger or freight aircraft, and most bomber aircraft, fighter aircraft are made, quite deliberately, unstable, in order to be swiftly manoeuvrable by a skilled pilot. In the past, some fighter aircraft have been almost unusable for that reason; the Lockheed Starfighter of the 1960s was one such.

Chris Bryant [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Chris_Bryant] is, in lay language, a traitor. Member of Labour Friends of Israel, pro-Israel warmonger, and supporter of mass immigration into this country. A very sleazy ex-Church of England priest, former Common Purpose employee, and also an expenses cheat, effectively a fraudster. Appalling in every way.

People such as Bryant get money, honours etc in our degraded country. Just disgusting.

A sterilization programme should be high on the agenda (probably not necessary in the case of Bryant, though).

The voters of Rhondda, now Rhondda and Ogmore, have been too silly in the past to see that Labour (since 1997, at least) gives them nothing, and have voted Bryant in, repeatedly, despite everything about him saying “no“. However, Reform must at least be in with a chance next time: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Rhondda_and_Ogmore_(UK_Parliament_constituency)#Elections_in_the_2020s.

The Kiev regime has shown itself capable (both in moral terms and practically) of carrying out quite sophisticated attacks akin to terrorism in and around Russia. What it cannot do is to win where it matters— in the battlefield space. Russian forces continue to make steady if unspectacular progress across Eastern Ukraine.

This is what happens when you commit mass ethnic cleansing, drive out the original inhabitants of a country, then repopulate that country with the sweepings of the ghettos, prisons, and labour camps of Europe.

Then the courts will have to be dealt with. We are getting into the glacial mess that characterizes American politics, whereby the executive power is trammelled by politicized judges (on the Supreme Court of the USA in that country, and by various higher courts in the UK).

As for that lady tweeter, she is fatally out of touch with the English/British heartlands. She has founded an offshoot of the Conservative Party she calls #Moderates. Her ex-husband was MP for Poole, turfed out by a mere 7 votes at GE 2024, and she was employed by him at about £50,000 a year via his Parliamentary expenses, “a nice little earner” (until it stopped).

I do not know whether the pseudo-Conservative “Moderates” exist outside the lady’s own mind (I suspect not); neither do I know whether they are the product of a bottle of whatever the lady may habitually drink.

In any event, the “Moderates” idea goes nowhere. UK politics (as this blog has always predicted) are becoming more “extreme”. People want clear and radical policies to —and I use the word advisedly— save this country at a very late hour.

At a guess, an educated guess, I should say that the policies for which that lady advocates (pro-immigration, getting rid of the Triple Lock, rejoining the EU, supporting the Kiev regime etc) would, as a compendium, probably attract the votes of, at best, 5% of the population. At best. Totally out of touch. In any case, there is already a party that pushes such policies— the LibDems (currently around 10% in the polls, but mainly because they are a default choice or “dustbin party”).

At, again, a guess, I should think that the membership of the so-called “Moderates” consists of the lady herself and however many bottles she can line up.

If “Rachel from Accounts and Customer Relations” Reeves scraps the Triple Lock, almost all voters from about age 50 or 55 will scrap her and, with her, Labour. At a time when Labour are running at about 20% in the opinion polls, that would be the final nail, if not already hammered home, in the Labour coffin.

As noted previously on the blog, a little judicious “racism” would have saved untold thousands of young English girls from being raped, exploited, and/or impregnated by non-Europeans. The poor taxpayers of the EU and UK are having billions of Euros wasted, thanks to Starmer, Macron, Merz, Ursula von der Leyen etc throwing money at the Zelensky regime.

I should not be surprised were the Jew Zelensky not to end up like Mussolini or Gaddafi; having said that, he will probably flee to California, Florida, or Israel.

I think that the British people have largely made up their collective mind: Farage and Reform are slightly underwhelming, but are the only game in town to vote for in order to hit out at the System parties that have done so much damage. Everyone now knows that, at every by-election, and every local election, from now until the next general election, and then at that general election, the way to stamp on both Lab and Con is to vote Reform.

The Reform vote at the next general election will probably be between 30% and 45%, and even the 30% level will be enough to sink Starmer-stein and his Labour Friends of Israel regime.

“Labour” ceased to be “the party of the working man” a long long time ago, and certainly no later than 1997.

I shall be interested and amused to see the progress, if any, of the new party being set up by Corbyn and the comedic-named Zara Sultana. I am told that about a quarter of Labour members will join, defecting from Starmer-Labour. A quarter of members, maybe, but I apprehend that only about a tenth of Labour voters, if that, will defect at the next general election. At present, official Labour is registering about 20%-28% in the opinion polls. That seems to put Corbyn-Labour on maybe 2% or 3%. I doubt that Corbyn’s new party will attract more than 10% of the entire election vote; maybe 5%. Even 10% may not result in more than one or two MPs. Corbyn himself, and maybe Ms. Sultana, in both of whose constituencies the vote may be more concentrated.

The recent Israeli attack on Iran has no doubt convinced any waverers in Iran that the only meaningful defence against Israeli aggression is to match the Israeli Jews in nuclear capability. Israel has created its own nemesis, as in a Greek tragedy.

One could also imagine Iran employing fleets of drones to exhaust the Israeli air defence shield, then using hundreds, even —in a future year— thousands of powerful conventional-warhead missiles, to overwhelm the remaining Israeli defences and to level the Dimona nuclear site, the Ben-Gurion airport, and Tel Aviv itself, without even having to use nuclear weapons.

Of course, Iran is a long way from Israel (at least 1,200 miles border to border), far beyond the flying distance of most drones at present, though some of the most advanced ones being used in the Ukraine war can reach about 600 miles.

Time will tell, but I think that Israel is doomed.

Not so sure about that. The protests may be at present mostly “peaceful” but the pressure on government comes from the fear that they may well become not-“peaceful”.

In any case, even if all the hotels are closed, the migrant-invaders will not be eliminated but will simply be hidden in the multikulti trash “communities” which now scar much of Britain. The taxpayers will pay out for either social housing or expensive private housing for the invaders.

Most if not all of those cities are already ghastly; God knows what they will be like in 5, 10, 20 years’ time.

We know what may have to happen in the end, but are “not allowed” to discuss it publicly, or to post analysis or comments about it.

In any case, the “rubber boats” invasion is only about 5% of the overall migration problem, which consists of cross-Channel rubber-boat invaders, “students”, “fiancees”, “family members”, fake “tourists”, “key workers” (mostly low-pay employees) and, last but not least, births (to immigrant mothers, to mothers whose parents were immigrants, and to white British women who have been impregnated by non-whites).

Eventually, the future will have to be faced; mass immigration and migration invasion is not the whole of it, though an important part of it. It is also cultural, social, and economic.

I agree. The judge who allowed himself to be “nod-and-wink” told to pass a truly Draconian sentence, as Starmer-stein and Yvette Cooper wanted, thus showed himself unfit to sit in the seat of judgment.

On the blog yesterday, I highlighted the case of two South London thugs convicted a day or two ago of (in one incident) serious theft, grievous or actual (I forget) bodily harm using fists, feet, and a baseball bat, and serious criminal damage (wrecking a car), the victims being a man in his 50s and a pregnant woman.

Incredibly, the judge in that London case gave the defendants (one having serious previous convictions) a suspended sentence, plus a bit of unpaid picking up of litter etc, and rather modest compensation (probably will never be paid). Why? Mainly because (the judge said) the prisons are full to bursting; also because the defendants might be able to access some kind of anger-management bs.

Incidentally, Lucy Connolly may now be “free”, and able to return to her unwell husband and two small children, but will still have to undergo the boredom and silliness of being under probation supervision bs for another 22 months!

One more untermensch to be captured and put on the one-way train…

After Reform— the deluge (real social nationalism).

Incidentally, that poll would translate into a Commons with no less than 434 Reform MPs, 68 Labour, 51 LibDems, 42 SNP and 25 Cons (etc). As near to an electoral revolution as anything.

Long-term and regular readers of the blog will know that I have blogged a few times about the month I spent at the oasis of Siwa in the Western Desert of Egypt in 1998 (part of three straight months I spent in Egypt that year). Siwa had slave caravans coming through from Central Africa to the Nile and Nile Delta right up until the 1940s, I think the late 1940s.

Both must pay compensation to their victims and attend rehabilitation days instead.

Williams-Gillett reached through the window and took his car keys. When his pregnant partner asked for the keys back, Williams-Gillett tried to punch her. By now the dad 50, had come back down the stairs and tried to pull Williams-Gillett away from the partner, triggering a brutal assault.

“Your response to that was to launch a violent attack on him. To stab him repeatedly to his face, so hard the keys were bent out of shape from the impact,” said Judge Baraitser.

Unable to start the car, the man phoned his cousin for help, while Williams-Gillett’s brother Fabian Bennett also arrived carrying a metal baseball bat. The cousin was punched in the face, but the first male victim managed to drive everyone away leaving his Hyundai behind. When he came back to get the car, the doors had been broken and his partner’s purse containing £350 in cash and her Monzo card was stolen.

Williams-Gillett was sentenced to 18 months suspended for 20 months with 25 days rehabilitation activity requirement. He must also pay £1,700 in compensation. Bennett got 12 months suspended for 18 months with 25 days rehabilitation activity requirement. He must pay £500 compensation.”

Famakinde, a gym instructor from south London, was given an 18-month community order and ordered to do 150 hours unpaid work, as it was deemed that a custodial sentence would be too severe.”

The so-called “Glorious 12th”, start of the grouse season. A “sport” of which I disapprove, so good luck to all grouse today.

There are those who claim that shooting helps conservation of a number of species [see, e.g. https://www.sykeshousefarm.co.uk/news_stories/why-grouse-is-becoming-more-exclusive-than-ever/] but I feel that there are other ways to do that. In the end, I just feel that to take pleasure in shooting a creature, a warm-blooded one at that, is morally wrong.

In the years 2002-2008, when I was a barrister based in Exeter and (2002-2006) living on the Cornwall/Devon border, prime shooting territory, several of my colleagues in chambers shot. I recall one incident when one member of chambers shot a pheasant which then fell on the head of either his wife or someone else’s wife (I think the latter), the lady in question being knocked out as a consequence.

I cannot now recall whether the shooter was or was not the person who later had an affair with the lady in question, who later left the one barrister for the other (causing a big kefuffle in chambers, as might be imagined; however, this being England and not Texas or the Caucasus, no-one opened fire on anyone else, and no blood was spilt).

Awkward, and I quite liked all three members of chambers involved (one involved simply as another gun on the fateful day; the lady involved was not a barrister, though I think that I did meet her once).

In fact, as someone who does not interfere with other people if it can be avoided, and because in those years I spent half my time at my then home in Finistere, or elsewhere, I was apparently the only member of Chambers for some time unaware of the personal upset that had occurred (though I had heard about the earlier, pheasant-caused, injury).

There is now effectively nothing left of the original, or even original post-WW2 (1945-1989), Labour Party.

The irrelevance of the Conservative Party is plainly seen there. Despite Starmer-stein having a disapproval rating of 60%, and Kemi Badenoch having one of “only” 35%, when it comes to positive approval, the two are both down in the trough of public esteem: Starmer 23%, Kemi Badenoch 24%. Indeed, fewer people actively disapprove of Kemi Badenoch (35%) than disapprove of Farage (41%), but when it comes to positive approval, Farage, on 37%, easily outpaces Kemi Badenoch’s 24%.

41% of people are unsure as to whether they approve or disapprove of Kemi Badenoch, a sure sign that she has made little impression on the public (and it can be seen that what impression she has made is mostly not favourable). By contrast, only 22% of the public are “unsure” about Farage— people either approve or disapprove of him, in almost equal numbers.

People are even more sure about Starmer. Only 17% are “unsure” about him, but 60% disapprove of him.

Quite simple. 14 years of total maladministration and misgovernment finished the Conservative Party with most of the electorate, though 3 out of every 12 voters who voted (3 out of every 20 eligible) still voted Con in 2024 (Labour had 4 out of 20 or 4 out of 12). Most of those Con voters were over 60 years of age, many over 80. They have mostly now gone to Reform UK, and many are expiring daily by reason of old age etc. The next general election may not be until 2029; how many habitual Con voters will have expired by then?

The young (anyone under 30, indeed the vast majority under 40) will not be voting Con. Most of the ethnic minority (rapidly becoming majority) voters prefer Labour or other parties. So who is left?

Once again, the “snake in the grass” here is the Jewish-Zionist/Israel lobby in the UK, which has most of the politicians of the two main System parties (and Reform, too, it seems) in its pocket. The (((lobby))) wants many many organizations banned or prosecuted; it wants many individuals prosecuted, too (they have already tried it with me: see below:

Strange that that former Conservative Party tweeter, Fiona-Natasha Syms (her ex-husband was Conservative Party MP for Poole until 2024; he lost by a mere 18 votes; and she worked for him, paid generously out of her ex-husband’s MP expenses) thinks that (of all people) Yvette Cooper is to be admired. Nein danke! Yvette Cooper is a would-be dictator, very dishonest, a moneygrubber and expenses cheat (as was her husband, Ed Balls), and a “refugees welcome” dimwit to boot! Also, like all of Starmer-stein’s Cabinet —except a few servile Muslims— a member of Labour Friends of Israel.

Short-sighted Con voters in some parts of England have, in the past couple of decades, shown themselves willing, in my view very wrongly, to vote for non-Europeans such as Kemi Badenoch as their constituency MP, so long as the right party label is affixed. Putting promises of low taxation etc above racial or national pride. That has led to the brainless Conservatives imagining that the country as a whole will vote, in effect, for a party led by a non-white MP. Very misguided. Look at Sunak.

True, that was not the only factor that sank the Conservatives at GE2024, but it was one important factor. Sunak was, in that sense, more “electable” than Kemi Badenoch. After all, people look at Indians en masse and see business, at least some organizational skills and, in Sunak’s case, a UK upbringing. Added to that, the vast wealth of his wife’s family and so his own wealth, meaning that, whether rightly or wrongly, he is at least perceived to be “in it” not for personal money reasons. Compare that to Kemi Badenoch, a loudmouth careerist carpetbagger.

Most Brits, not unfairly, look at Nigeria and see chaotic maladministration, corruption even worse than that of India, and nothing at all to admire. Kemi Badenoch was not even brought up in the UK. Her parents made sure that she was born in London, so that (under the law as it then was, in 1980) she could later claim a British passport, but she was only in the UK for a few days before being returned to Nigeria. She lived there and in the USA until at least age 16.

For those who say that Kemi Badenoch is scarcely a typical Nigerian, well, yes. As F. Scott Fitzgerald said, in effect (not an exact quotation), “the rich are different from you and me; they have more money“.

Yes, Kemi Badenoch is not a typical Nigerian. I have known a few like her, such as the Nigerian princess with whom I was acquainted in the mid/late 1980s, and whose (much older) husband was a Federal High Court judge in Nigeria. However, the basic model is still there, not far under the surface. (if anyone is interested, that Nigerian princess was shot dead in her luxury apartment in Lagos , nearly 30 years ago; Lagos is a rather dangerous place).

I just cannot believe that the British public will vote for a Prime Minister who is a Nigerian woman. The very idea, at least to me, is utterly farcical.

When you add to that her abrasive personality etc, you see how disastrous Kemi Badenoch is for the Conservative Party, which looks increasingly irrelevant.

Anyone who has had to deal with the chaotic crazy mess called “HMRC” will be familiar with the term “Kafka-esque“. I am glad to say that my interaction with them ceased some 13-14 years ago (in relation to matters now 20-40 years in the past). In fact, HMRC reminded me slightly of the 1950 comic novel, The Way Backwards.

Translates to about 414 Reform UK MPs, 94 Labour, 54 LibDems, 37 SNP, Cons 21.

That would be a Commons majority greater than that of Starmer in 2024, and almost as great as that of Blair in 1997. Prior to that, very large majorities were achieved in the early 1930s, in the 1920s, and by Earl Grey’s government of 1832. All times of sweeping change.

Of course, 32% of the popular vote is not huge in historical terms, but is about what Starmer-Labour gathered-in in 2024. It hardly matters that your vote is “only” 32% if your main opponents are getting 20% and 16%.

Incidentally, I see that lying perjurer Gideon Falter, the head or figurehead of the “Campaign Against Antisemitism”, was allowed to publish a fairly long opinion piece in the Daily Telegraph. The horrible little bastard had the sheer gall to write about the small number of Israeli hostages held by Hamas in Gaza that they now look like Jews starved in German camps at the end of the Second World War.

That at a time when an Arab Palestinian population in the many hundreds of thousands, including huge numbers of civilians (many of them children), is being deliberately starved to death in Gaza by the (Israeli) Jews, a para-military campaign backed to the hilt by (non-Israeli) Jews such as Falter.

As a matter of fact, I should not be surprised if Falter, effectively an agent of influence of a foreign power, Israel, is not an Israeli passport-holder himself, perhaps a dual Israel/UK passport-holder (maybe even a triple passport-holder (Israel/UK/Austria).

I accept that the hostages in Gaza should be released, but the Palestinians have been pushed to the genocidal brink, and have few chips to play.

Israel should also release its own prisoners, of course. Some of them have also been brutalized and starved.

I once stayed overnight at Mappin’s hotel, a Victorian castle hotel at Tintagel, North Cornwall, the one-time seat of King Arthur. In late 2001; December 2001. It was not really run properly as “an hotel” should be; I believe that, since then, it has been taken in hand by Mappin, the heir to a very considerable fortune (think Mappin & Webb, the jewellers). I just read today that he bought it in 1999.

When I was there, it was hugely atmospheric, like a decayed private castle, an effect emphasized by the fact that my wife and I were the only guests, and the staff, in the evening at least, consisted of a not terribly welcoming middleaged Englishman and his (possibly Austrian) wife. I recall that our rather cold room (I think it may have had a four-poster, and an ancient bar fire set into the wall) cost £200 a night, quite expensive in the money of 24 years ago. Akin maybe to £400+ today.

I well recall, after eating informally at a local pub in the nearby village (no restaurant open then at the Castle), being seated before a Hollywood-film-scale blazing fire in the Great Hall, and being served a double or triple Irish whiskey, the absence of other guests making it seem as if we were in our own home (or castle).

In the morning, a very pleasant and very rickety old retainer-woman served breakfast in a long gallery, her tiny grandchild hanging onto her skirts, as the Cornish winter waves crashed onto the rocks below, as in Rebecca.
