Crime of Passion

The British TV series Crime of Passion, which ran from 1971-1973, is now almost forgotten. In fact, the main character who always appeared was the judge, played by Anthony Newlands [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Anthony_Newlands#Filmography], and his Wikipedia entry does not even mention Newlands’ role in Crime of Passion; neither is there a Wikipedia entry for the series itself [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Crime_of_passion_(disambiguation)].

In late 1971, I was just 15, and had returned from a 3-week stay with a French couple who lived in the Rue de l’Arbalete in the 5th arrondisement of Paris, a Paris which, I think, does not exist any more.

I loved Crime of Passion, which I thought at the time might be an Anglo-French production. In fact, not. It was the kind of literate, not-boring, well-made drama never seen today, and of course had no performative blacks/gays/lesbians (etc), nor any virtue-signalling nonsense in the script.

Crime of Passion was an ATV production, and was based on actual cases in the French courts, in which, until 1976, a plea of crime passionel was an excuse legale in relation to a prosecution for homicide in circumstances where a husband had caught his wife in flagrante with a lover. A successful plea of crime passionel reduced the sentence very considerably (from death or life imprisonment in most cases, to a couple of years in prison or even complete acquittal, though the latter was rare.

The change of law in 1976 was part of a general updating of laws previously based on the Code Napoleon.

Hard to believe that the surviving 29 episodes (3 others having been wiped) of that series have never been put on VHS or DVD, or revived on one of the “nostalgia” TV channels.

Exactly what happened in the early 1920s in Germany. The Weimar Republic regime stood by as hyperinflation destroyed the integrity of the German currency. He has a point. After all, look at Medvedev. He is far harsher. As for others, there are many Russians far far more extreme than Putin.

She is right, but the point is that Labour is as good as finished either way. Even in 2024, Starmer-stein’s Labour only managed to get 4 votes out of every 20 eligible voters; 4 votes out of every 12 votes actually cast.

Out of every 20 eligible voters, 8 did not vote, 4 voted Lab, 3 voted Con, 2 voted Reform, 2 voted LibDem (though in fact the LibDems were far below Reform in numbers), and 1 (just about) voted Green.

Well, since then, Labour has slid in the opinion polls, and the Con Party under its Nigerian woman leader has also slid. The latest poll has Labour on only 25%, Reform on 24%, and the Cons below 20%, compared to 34% (Lab), 24% (Con), and 14% (Reform) in 2024.

Strange in a woman who supported and still praises the part-Jews David Cameron-Levita and “George” (Gideon) Osborne, who intensified Gordon Brown-Labour’s attack on the disabled and/or unemployed to an unprecedented extent, allowing the dishonest, dim and nasty part-Jap expenses fraudster, Dunce Duncan Smith, free rein.

Oh, and she does not want to stop the migration invasion, yet thinks that the UK needs more “defence” against the non-existent “Russian threat”.

She seems to think that a black/brown Britain would be fine, and calls anyone against that future “fash” (“fascist”), a term I only ever see, otherwise, from “antifa” and/or Jew “antifascist” tweeters.

Even today, she was tweeting in defence of that black “academic” con-man, Jason Arday, who killed himself the other day when his fakery was publicized.

Well, there it is. One cannot expect rationality from the irrational, and I suspect and have suspected that the members of her “Moderates” fantasy party are about as numerous as the empty bottles in her kitchen. If that.

I doubt that the lady’s “Moderates”, even if they existed in the real world, would do better than the smallest fringe parties. Pensioners would not vote for her, anyone sceptical of the “need” for money to be wasted on defence against fantasy “threats” would not vote for her, and neither would anyone wanting to stop the migration invasion.

How time flies— there is my blog post from 3 years ago today, and that dates from three months before my free speech trial of November 2023. Nearly three years ago. Hard to believe. Still, nice to reflect on the fact that the malicious Jews of the so-called “Campaign Against Antisemitism” [“CAA”] failed to shut down the blog, even during the trial itself. It has been published almost daily since the trial and sentencing (of March 2024), and is still being published at least 25 days per month.

I was blogging about that months ago. Action causes reaction. Many effectively Russian ships fly flags of convenience. So do many effectively British ships, and the same applies across the world. This is the 21st Century, yet we are now seeing state piracy on behalf of the Kiev regime. Do not think that Russia cannot respond.

The madness should be stopped but, with the ruling circles in the West set on conflict with Russia, the situation may well escalate.

True, but —as with the Ukraine situation— this is also partly an excuse to make people forget that the disastrous and utterly stupid (but on one level, planned) “Covid” “lockdown” immediately placed the UK economy on a permanently lower level, and quite deliberately.

The sheep (you know, the voters…) almost all complied with the ludicrous farrago of fake laws, “rules” etc put out by “Boris”-idiot, little Matt Hancock, and others.

Now those sheep are suffering, or starting to suffer, and the villain is supposed to be Russia, or Iran, or anything but the Western cabals who imposed those fake laws and closed down the UK and other economies for months and years.

I was shocked to see how easily the sheep were led by those with control of the levers of mass propaganda.

“Lockdown”, “social distancing”, “the Rule of Six”, the facemask nonsense etc. All entirely unnecessary (in reality, only a handful of people in the UK actually died of Covid).

As I blogged at the time, on one level the whole “Covid” thing was a massive psychological experiment; sadly, millions of people went along with it and probably even today believe it. Even years later, I occasionally see poor loonies wearing a facemask. Probably the same contaminated piece of cloth they have been breathing through for 6 years. Complete idiots, and victims of a “psy-op” which actually was not hugely sophisticated, though plainly co-ordinated at the start.

A kind of comfort blanket for the weak-minded.

I should love to hear the real views of people such as Sir Richard Dearlove [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Richard_Dearlove], though I am not convinced that such people know a great deal more, overall, than me. They just know more detail (arguably).

Burnham continues to underwhelm. The weather this year is fairly brutal, but political leadership cannot change it one little bit.

As for “climate change”, the evidence for its existence is patchy, and its causation via “emissions” not proven, as far as I am concerned.

Further, even if there is climate change and even if it is caused by the said emissions, only what is done by the largest industrial powers, notably China, India, and the USA, would make a real difference. Britain is only sending out 1% of the said emissions, if that. In other words, even if Britain disappeared completely, or achieved “Net Zero”, the difference in emission-output would be somewhere between 1% and zero.

What political leadership in the UK can do is to plan ahead and to take strategic decisions that have practical outcomes.

The most important action that should be taken is to stop mass immigration. All the millions of migrant invaders (“small boat” invaders, “legal immigrants”, and those born to immigrant mothers or to stupid British women impregnated by non-Europeans) use water, for one thing. 55 million people lived in the UK when I was born (1956); now, 65-70 million.

The next thing that government can do is to ameliorate the effects of continued hot weather. Build more reservoirs. Not one public reservoir has been constructed in 34 years in the UK. I now read that some are being planned and that a few have even been started. However, it takes years to construct a large reservoir, and months or —more usually— years for such reservoirs to fill, especially in periods of low rainfall.

A further action that would help is to give some financial help to planters and growers who want private reservoirs (which can cost up to £2M). That helps because the water for irrigation would then come from the private reservoir, not from public reservoirs, rivers, and aquifers.

Of course, none of the above can change the weather, but those and other measures might help to mitigate the effects.

I once lived for a while on a Caribbean island without reservoirs or (when I was there) any desalination plant (one was being built while I was there). In fact, there was no mains water on the island at that time. However, all large or medium-size houses were built around a large tank, so that when it did rain (torrentially, in hurricane season), water was retained. Certainly, the villa in which I lived never ran out of water for showers etc (you had to buy drinking water, imported from the USA, mostly).

UK governments should make new buildings include such tanks, and also potential air-conditioning. Yes, there is a cost penalty; well, boo-hoo. It is necessary.

Reverting to Burnham, my initial view of him as someone who just wants to do what appears popular (except for stopping the migration invasion, of course) is daily reinforced.

Look at the “P.C. Harper” case, re. the tinker/”traveller” criminals who killed a policeman a few years ago. The big picture strategy would be to remove or eliminate such “traveller” criminals, if necessary as a whole “community”, rather than horse around, as Burnham is, trying to prevent a few individual ones from getting early release from prison. In fact, he is only doing that because he does not want the mass media to report that he is doing nothing.

Strategy, not day-to-day tactics.

Seems to translate to a Commons with about 194 Labour MPs (a plurality, but about 132 short of a majority), 149 Reform UK (official Opposition), 146 Cons (well up on present numbers), 66 LibDems, 38 SNP, 34 Greens [etc].

Hopelessly-hung Parliament.

The Reform numbers may be an overestimate, in that Restore Britain may well eat into that mooted 149, without itself getting any MPs at all.

Surprising that the Cons might actually get more MPs, but then Cecil King once did say that no-one ever lost money by underestimating the intelligence of the British voters.

I used to love the little hummingbird which came every morning, as soon as dawn broke, to the bushes on the terrace while I breakfasted (on a Caribbean island where I lived and worked for a little while nearly three decades ago).

That lady (the ex-wife of an ex-MP) still seems to be pushing the line that there is a party or tendency called “the Moderates”, basically Conservatives who do not want to stop immigration. I have blogged before as to my belief (my guess) that the membership of the “Moderates” numbers about the same as the empty bottles in her cellar or kitchen.

She wants to “take off the unaffordable triple lock day 1“.

First of all, the Triple Lock is not “unaffordable“, and only appears so because this country is wasting vast amounts on supporting the useless lives of black/brown immigrants and the offspring of previous waves of non-white immigrants, and wasting other huge amounts on the Jew/Ukrainian-thug regime in Kiev, among other wastages (e.g. military procurement in order to confront Russia, when we should be growing closer with Russia).

Secondly, any party which says it wants to (or does) dump the Triple Lock loses, automatically, the votes of 95% of those over age ~60. That demographic comprises about a third of the entire effective electorate, i.e. the electors who actually bother to vote.

The lady in question seems to be pro-immigration, pro-multikulti society, pro the crazed war against the German Reich 1939-1945, pro increased benefits for some (but not pensioners).

Of course, she herself is rather affluent (her ex-husband employed her at Westminster using Parliamentary expenses, and probably paid her rather well (no-brainer, surely?), she may well have other income streams, and she seems to own two properties, one near Hastings, and one in the Holland Park Avenue area of London.

That is what always astounds me— how out of touch these Westminster Bubble people almost always are.

That hotel was once a decent 3-star place. I remember it even from the 1970s, when I rode past once or twice on my tiny and underpowered Vespa scooter when aged 16 or 17.

I also recall seeing it a decade or so later, when I was staying in another hotel nearby with my girlfriend and a Soviet dance troupe.

Well, in recent years it has been occupied and trashed by migrant-invaders, paid for by the British taxpayers.

Late thought around BBC Newsnight and Andy Burnham

For the first time in years, watched the first few minutes of BBC Newsnight. Oh dear…It started to be rubbish when Kirsty Wark took over (about 30+ years ago). Now, it seems that dull Paddy O’Connell is the presenter.

Terribly dull.

I saw that Andy Burnham gave his first speech in the Commons since his return. Oh my goodness…he focussed on the bloody Hillsborough thing, which some people “up there” (Manchester, Liverpool, mainly) have been drivelling on about since it happened. Yes, it was terrible, yes, the police were incompetent and dishonest, but it happened 37 years ago!

In a way, that so sums up what Britain now is. It is obsessed with past glories, past tragedies etc. Hillsborough. The 1966 World Cup. “The War” (and “our” Pyrrhic victory over the German Reich) etc.

Backward-looking. Provincial. Even parochial. Second-rate (at best).

Burnham had a chance here to really set out a strategy, his ideas. Well, now we know— he has none.

What Burnham has done is to have thrown some red meat to his Manchester (call it Manchester and 50-mile radius) power base. Same with his “deport the Paki-stani child sex criminals“. Nothing wrong with that, but he is only doing it, now, because it buys cheap popularity, especially “up North”. Until recently, he was just part of the Labour Party cover-up.

So that is Burnham. Useless (as I suspected). It is also Labour going, going, gone in a year or three…

I think that we can already see that Burnham will trash what is left of Labour’s support even more than has Starmer-stein.

I covered that silly nasty online “grifter” and would-be influencer on the blog, briefly, a few times in the past.

In the general area of such types as “Jack Monroe” (Melissa Hadjicostas, the “Bootstrap Cook” fraudster and grifter, at one time making tens of thousands a month from foolish trusting mugs), “Man Behaving Dadly” (an Essex Jew called Simon Harris, who cheated Essex County Council out of about £600,000, while also “grifting” by begging for donations), Julia Grace Patterson (worked as junior doctor for about a year —she claims ten years but that is a lie, I am sure— before moving to the more lucrative online “grift” racket, and selling facemasks online during the “Covid” panicdemic/scamdemic; she also ill-treated her only child by forcing him to wear a facemask, even on walks in the park, the loonie woman).

“Supertanskiii”, as I predicted, has not prospered during the reign of Starmer-stein. Previously, her selling point (to the mugs, mostly if not all middleaged or elderly “neckbeards” who send her money in various ways), was to shout and swear online at the (admittedly ghastly) “Tories”. A very “one-trick-pony” online offering, but apparently enough to get quite a few mugs to send her money to add to her various State benefits.

Well, the last Conservative Party government ended 2 years ago. As I predicted on the blog, the “Jack Monroe” and “Supertanskiii” types who thought that the “Tories” were the only game in town when it comes to stamping on the poorer sections of society, have been rather blindsided when it turned out (as also predicted on this blog) that fake Labour would prove to be quite similar, maybe even worse than, the “Tories”.

As the featured tweets prove, “Supertanskiii” is a very nasty woman, but also one who has absolutely nothing to offer in terms of serious social or political ideas. An idiot, basically.

I was unaware of the incident referred to, but that Sam Armstrong is the same one who was part of the bully-cabal around washed-up half-caste and one-time “Conservative” Westminster candidate Mark Clarke, who was at the centre of the Con Party Road Trip battle bus scandal a decade ago (David Cameron-Levita called Clarke a “nightmare“: he broke his “ho” girlfriend’s jaw during rough sex, and was also involved with various Con Party women including the ghastly MP and Cabinet Minister, Justine Greening —now apparently a lesbianka!— and lived off his doctor wife’s money at the same time).

Well, that was all 10-15 years ago, and Mark Clarke has submerged into well-deserved obscurity, but Sam Armstrong, one of —some say the worst one of— a bullying cabal directed by Clarke (one young man killed himself), has continued in the political milieu, though he will never now be an MP, certainly not a Conservative MP, which was apparently his ambition.

I suppose that Armstrong must be 33 or 34 years of age now.

Restore is proving to be, like Reform UK, disappointing. It is also even more of a one-man-band than Reform. For me, though, the main thing is to trash Lab and Con; Restore is likely to split the overall conservative-nationalist vote, and so make the trashing of the main (old) System parties less devastating than it could be.

We hear much about the Muslim world and how the West is in peril from its expansion etc. In fact, the Muslim world has only, or at least mainly, the strength given to it by the West, meaning, mainly, White European people.

Who discovered oil and natural gas as fuels etc? Europeans and those of European origin (Americans etc). Who found uses for oil and gas? European-race people. Who discovered oil fields and gas fields, and refined oil? European-race people.

The Arabs (particularly) only have economic power because their states and mini-states were allowed a degree of independence during the Cold War period. They lived between the great blocs.

What will happen if oil becomes less valuable? Those Arab countries will become the sideshow they were before WW2 and especially WW1.

The Islamic countries are basically men of straw.

Even the Jewish element, including Israel, is a sideshow.

The blocs that matter are Russia and its Russophone near-abroad, North America, China and, if it can collect itself, Europe.

As for the invasion of Europe by Muslim migrants (and births to same), Europe has the means to deal with that, if it can gather the political will.

I was in Karlovy Vary in 1988, though for less than 24 hours and did not see that colonnade. Pity.

Looks as though billions of pounds are now going to be wasted on “defence”, and to be entirely spent on confronting Russia. Everything else, from pensions to social security, to rail and road improvements, to education, to the NHS and elder social care etc, is going to be sidelined so that the New World Order/Zionist Occupation Government (NWO/ZOG) can prod the Bear.

Russia has 6,000-7,000 nuclear weapons. Is that a country the UK should be provoking? I say no, and Russia in any case is not our enemy, unless the “British” government(s) make Russia our enemy.

In the 1950s, 1960s, 1970s, even 1980s, there was justification for both the existence of NATO and for British defence against a real Soviet threat, however overplayed it often was, of an invasion of Western Europe by Warsaw Pact forces. That threat does not now exist.

We have seen how Russian forces have struggled over the past 4 years to subdue even the ramshackle armed forces of the Kiev-regime dictatorship. What in that leads those who pretend to lead the UK to conclude that Russia might invade any more of Eastern Europe, let alone Central or Western Europe? It’s mad.

Actually, why on Earth would Russia want to take over the gradually (steadily) crumbling British society, even were that possible? Russia has no need to rule Britain’s ever-more-crumbling cities, full of blacks and browns.

We are told that Russia may wish to re-absorb, in some form, the Baltic States or pribaltika, and maybe parts of present Moldavia. So? Actually, I doubt it anyway.

I have always supported the right of the Estonians, Latvians, and Lithuanians (and, indeed, Moldavians) to self-determination, especially culturally, also politically, but the only reason why Russia is now in Cold War-style opposition to those states is because they now belong to NATO, and persist in hostile actions against Russia, actions taken after “consultation” with NATO states (i.e. NWO/ZOG).

There are evil powers in the West pushing for war with Russia. The UK is a large part of that, as can be seen by the fact that huge donations (sometimes called “loans”, but non-repayable, in reality) have been made by the UK and EU to the Kiev regime, and that despite the crying needs of the British people, from whom necessary monies and services have been cut off, with more fake “austerity” to come.

The only real invasion of Britain (and Western/Central Europe) happening, or even likely to happen, is the migration invasion, a deliberate flooding of white Europe by blacks and browns. The “British” government is not only not stopping that, but actually facilitating it, by providing non-Europeans with free houses, money, services etc. It’s treason, in ordinary language.

The Soviet Union had an expansionist military doctrine, a supremacist ideology (Marxism-Leninism), and very powerful conventional military forces, as well as sometimes very effective intelligence agencies. None of those even apply to contemporary Russia.

My preferred policy would be for the UK to leave NATO (which outlived its usefulness by the mid-1990s), and to cultivate closer relations with Russia. We would get cheap or even cost-price oil and gas, as well as a huge market in Russia for British goods and services. We should also be able to redeploy the billions set to be wasted on armament to projects and services, and infrastructure, seriously needed here at home.

Let’s reset British-Russian relations.

The more I see, not so much of Burnham himself but more of the hysterical adulation around him and focussed on him, the more I think that his tenure in office will be disastrous, even if it lasts for the full 3+ years until a 2029 General Election.

As for the BBC and Sky wasting large amounts of money on helicopters to follow “Caesar’s” train (“royal train”? or “imperial train”?) and then taxi, that just underlines what a sycophantic propaganda Schauspiel those msm outlets now are.

What a stupid —and basically performative— action. How many ships owned by UK-based companies sail under flags of convenience? Thousands. What if Russia starts to seize them? This kind of state piracy is not the right kind of thing at all. This is the 21st Century, not the 16th or 17th.

Peter Murrell is now in prison on remand, and awaiting sentence, while his wife or ex-wife, Nicola Sturgeon, the self-important Scottish fake “nationalist”, would-be “world statesperson”, and probable lesbianka, is politically finished, and living in some sort of luxury rental in London (presumably hoping to become a mass media TV talking-head and newspaper scribbler), but the SNP itself staggers on.

In a sense, one can see why the SNP is still riding fairly high in the opinion polls. Labour is washed-up north of the border as well as in England and Wales, the LibDem default-vote joke party is only supported in a few niche and/or former Conservative areas, and few these days will vote fake “Conservative” in most of Scotland. So for whom do Scottish people vote? It is said that both Restore Britain and Reform UK are gaining support, but surely not enough to worry the SNP. There again, between a third and a half of Scottish people still think that they want notional “Independence” from the UK, so that does limit their choice of party.

In the end, the SNP is just another globalist System party; pro-Israel, pro-Jewish lobby, pro-EU, pro-immigration. Same-old, in short. However, at present, enough Scottish people are fooled sufficiently by the fake flag-waving of the SNP (despite it at one point having been led by a Pakistani!) to keep the SNP in play.

Replacing the monkey will not change the music being played, nor the identity of the organ-grinder(s).

Reform could have smashed its way right through the politics of the UK, but Farage and Tice allowed the Jewish/Israel lobby to influence and control them, and also started to flood Reform with non-white candidates. That is why Restore, though also very flawed, is making ground.

Cornwall has plenty of (mostly 18thC/19thC) ruins and follies. My own (sadly only leased) house (2002-2004) near the Tamar, about 4 or 5 miles north of Launceston, had 4 acres of gardens, ornamental ponds, and Victorian grottos and, beyond that, about 80 acres of woodland (with black deer etc), and a small river. Hard to believe, now.

I have no idea who that ugly, stupid woman (who obviously thinks herself very clever for some unknown reason) is; I presume a Labour MP.

Said stupid woman tries to play to the BBC Question Time audience, as if to say about the Reform UK candidate in the Makerfield by-election, “Hey, look, people! This idiot actually thinks that, if we were to close the borders, and not continue to allow in a million migrant-invaders a year, there might be less of a housing crisis. What a knuckledragger!“

Like so many pro-immigration types, and most Labour MPs, that woman is unable to use basic logic. Of course immigration has an effect on housing availability and pricing. It may not be the only factor, but it is a major factor and, overall, the major factor.

They want near-open borders, unlimited housing for all, even if tens of millions arrive here (which is starting to happen, btw), and generous social security for all the new arrivals (hardly any of whom are employable in ordinary jobs, or any jobs beyond delivering pizza).

Apart from that, we know that, without immigration and births to immigrants, the UK population would have been reducing steadily for about 20 years.

In other words, overall, the only really significant factor in the housing situation is the migration-invasion (both “legal” and “illegal”.

Why are people confronting the police in situations where the numbers of protesters (vis-a-vis those of the police) and the protesters’ lack of tactical discipline (and no leadership) mean that the police are always going to come out on top? That is stupid.

It would be different were the protesters equipped, disciplined, properly led, and large in number (like the SS and SA in the 1920s).
