Russia could, in theory, tell the United States that, should the US bomb Iran, Russia will bomb or rocket Israel. That would stalemate the situation, and stop the Americans from attacking Iran. It might also trigger WW3, though, and make “Armageddon” reality, both in Israel/Palestine and elsewhere.
However, Putin will not want to get Russia directly involved.
So far, Russia is winning all ways: the oil price is rocketing, gold is rocketing too, and Russia is one of the largest producer-states of both.

Were Johnson to get some sympathetic Con MP to stand down in his favour, Johnson might well win a safe-seat by-election.
Why would any MP do that? In return for a promise of getting a peerage later. That would not require Johnson to be Prime Minister, because the Leader of the Opposition also has peerage-nomination rights.
Johnson would then have to wait (probably) until November 2025 before at least 15% of Con MPs send in letters of no-confidence in “Carpetbagger Kemi” Badenoch. That means 18 MPs, as matters stand. That would happen. Con MPs know that Kemi Badenoch is a total turn-off for most voters, sure to lose the next general election and, thus, a number of seats.
Then, all Johnson would need would be a small number of MPs (in the 2024 leadership election, the number was 10 MPs) to nominate him as a candidate (quite likely possible).
Opinion polls of 2024 Con-voting people show that Johnson is far more popular (despite his evident unfitness to hold office, despite his total incompetence) than Kemi Badenoch.

What Jones fails to point out is that that British-imposed law probably had a penalty for breach of a small fine or a short prison sentence. I admit that I do not know exactly how much or how long. When I was practising at the Bar in London during 1993-1996, I used to do quite a bit of Judicial Review work at the High Court. Most, though not all, was either immigration or housing-related. One such case was a Pakistani fighting deportation to Pakistan on the ground that he was a member of an Islamic sect considered heretical by the other Muslims.
I think, subject to correction, that there are about 70 different sects in Islam.
The said “heresy” was punishable (probably still is) by a maximum penalty of death. The original law prohibiting such belief and/or membership had been passed by the British rulers under the Raj, in the 19th Century.
The devil is in the detail. The original British law provided for a small fine by way of punishment. After Independence and Partition (1947), the law itself was kept exactly as it had been when first passed, but the penalties increased gradually from that original small fine to larger fines, terms of imprisonment, and finally (I think in about 1980 or so) to the death penalty.
The outcome of that case at the High Court in ~1994 is not relevant to my point but, as far as I can recall, the case was listed before a judge who said that he had made a study of the particular sect in question (God knows why). I suppose that he was well-placed to judge the matter fairly. I think that he remitted the case to be reviewed further by the Home Office in the end.

I hope not. If it were to happen, it would quite likely slide into a nuclear exchange. Britain, as the USA’s “unsinkable aircraft carrier“, would be one of the worst-hit parts of the world.
Staff colleges in the 1960s/1970s (including the UK’s Staff College, and the Soviet Army General Staff Military Academy etc), wargamed this. A “limited” nuclear exchange always led to an all-out strategic exchange.
Even we, the few social-nationalists (in the UK), are completely unready for the aftermath of that. It might be the opportunity to eliminate the forces and cohorts of evil within UK society, but we have not the means with which to do that, not as things stand, even were we (and the enemies) to survive the large-scale war devastation.
