That last one’s a killer! “...and how black people have to work harder than white people“! Since when? Maybe on a Boer farm in 1930, thanks to a few blows with a sjambok! Otherwise not.
Some of the replies to the original tweet are so “English” that they should be put in a glass case and exhibited alongside a copy of a Miss Marple book and photographs of England when it was a civilized white country. “You should write to the school“, opines one naive lady; “complain, with other parents“, writes another no doubt well-meaning lady…
When are these people going to realize that we, the white Northern peoples of the world, are in an existential war with the racially and culturally inferior?! The (((ones))) behind it all are sitting in North London gated communities, in Manhattan townhouses, on megayachts etc, manipulating the stupid (“Black Lives Matter” activists, “antifa” dupes etc) to do their bidding.
Members of the teaching “profession” are often prime examples of the rank and file of the brainwashed foot-soldiers of this war against us.
Writing polite letters, complaining to school staff, or to (often packed with enemies of British and European culture) boards of school governors etc will not “do de bizniz”.
Because freedom of expression is now so repressed in the UK, I am effectively barred from writing what I want to write about what should be done. My readers will just have to read between the lines, as has always been the case in unfree countries.
I like some of what Monbiot has to say about environmental matters, and even some of the cited article is not entirely misguided, but the taking of the cretinous “Extinction Rebellion” vandals as a positive example shows a very poor grasp on reality.
If the present form of representative Parliamentary democracy is very unrepresentative, which it is, than how much less representative is the idea of “citizen’s assemblies” etc?
Extinction Rebellion has tried to get people elected once or twice (as Independents, because “XR” is not registered as a political party). Its “co-founder”, Roger Hallam, presently sitting in prison awaiting trial (unless out on bail) stood for election in the 2019 European Elections (for the London constituency). He achieved a vote of 0.04%, 924 votes out of nearly a quarter of a million votes cast.
History shows that “citizen’s assemblies” are always just brief episodes between one state imperium and another: Paris 1789, St. Petersburg and Moscow 1917, Berlin and Munich 1918 etc.
“Citizen’s assemblies” are either chaotic or have to be regularized, which makes them into rough and ready parliaments. As Stalin realized (maybe Trotsky too, thinking of Kronstadt), what then matters is who controls the secretariat behind the assembly…
Monbiot is right, though, in thinking that the present political and electoral system is broken. The UK needs not only a proportional form of voting, but (as mentioned in Monbiot’s article) something that ties taxation and spending closer to the people as a whole. Perhaps a proportion of government spending, whether 10% or 5% (or whatever) left to popular decision and meshed into the taxation system.
The Threefold Social Order concept has never been consciously tried, albeit that it is developing slowly anyway and has been since the Renaissance. https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Social_threefolding.
He would never post a picture of a non-white family to make this point. Environmentalism is often a thin veil for antiwhite hatred. https://t.co/4xphNcQIA9
Quite right. The proportion of white Northern Europeans in the world is declining fast. It is already a tiny fraction of what it was a century ago; yet white Northern Europeans are the only hope for positive future evolution of humanity.
It will never end at this rate @aither_a . Until the whole logic of the Official State of Panic is questioned, these sorts of measures will continue indefinitely. https://t.co/KWdRAZAKxk
I think there was still quite a lot of hangover from the busybody state of the Attlee era, but by comparison with now it was quite mild. @jprnyct https://t.co/L3y2ZxliUH
It occurs to me @D1Bluebird that if this sort of over-reaction becomes commonplace the schools will effectively be closed again before too long. You either end the Panic for good, or you keep panicking for ever. https://t.co/gXRAJjvupj
More confirmation that "Lockdown" was monumental folly, placing us in a vortex of fear & socioeconomic carnage from which there's no escape unless a critical mass of people admit it was disproportionate nonsense.
The @FT, Britain's grandest, vainest newspaper, finally notices that the Tory Party is not in fact conservative. Let us have some Champagne. What will they notice next? That Lord Sumption has a better grasp of policy and fact than Matt Hancock? Too much to hope for. https://t.co/skzqv5Ji1F
Not sure I agree. The remains might well have been flattened or incorporated into a modern structure if this had not been done. Much of ancient Coventry survived the bombs but was destroyed anyway by planners. https://t.co/rPqsprJcDP
I myself do not really know Coventry. I have only been there twice.
I first went to Coventry (to the famous rebuilt modern Cathedral) in 1964, perhaps, at the age of 7 or so. I recall the (literally?) “iconic” metal sculpture of Archangel Michael spearing the Devil (a false memory, I now see, because the Devil, though bound, is not actually speared).
I also recall going into a snack bar (something my family hardly ever did) somewhere near that cathedral, and also visiting a large park which contained quite a few (I think) Indians talking in groups (there were then no Indians, Pakistanis —or blacks, for that matter— in Berkshire or Oxfordshire, at least I had never seen any, with the exception of an NHS consultant ENT doctor from the Caribbean who saw me a few times when aged about 6 or 7 at the Royal Berkshire Hospital).
I made a second visit to Coventry about 15 years ago. I stayed overnight in some Holiday Inn Express (I think). I did not see the better parts of Coventry (if any).
Musical interlude
How long before people really start to chafe?
Increasingly, nothing works in the UK, whether at central government level, local government level, or simply in the retail sphere, e.g. large companies such as Boots. The simplest things are either not done properly or not done at all.
I was just listening to the stupid woman Boris-idiot appointed to run the “Coronavirus” track-and-trace service (which is a total waste of time and money anyway, but let’s leave that aside). One Lady Dido Harding, who has apparently made a career of messing up one high-level job after another, but always getting another one by reason of connections.
Then we have Chris “Failing” Grayling, just appointed to a £100,000 a year job, which may not seem hugely overpaid (though it is several times what most people receive) until you realize that the salary will remunerate Grayling for “about 7 hours per week”. A day a week, and £100K a year… Nearly £300 per hour, or over £2,000 for a 7-hour week. On top of his MP salary (and expenses) and whatever else he is dragging down.
What does one expect of a country that has a useless c**t like Boris-idiot at its helm? I notice that even a deadhead like Toby Young has now woken up:
Yesterday, I blogged that Boris-idiot seemed crushed, in fact flattened, at PMQs. I do not entirely attribute that to Angela Rayner’s fairly brutal putdown. As I blogged, it seems to me that, for the first time, “Boris” has now himself woken up to the fact that his heart is not in the job of being a Prime Minister; perhaps also to the fact that he is useless at it.
Sweden is an object-lesson: liberalistic tendencies encouraged for decades, initially with, at least arguably, some positive results, but eventually a downward spiral into empty “toleration” of every kind of degeneracy.
Then the Jewish element and influence, already there but muted by reason of the formerly traditional and nationalistic Swedish society, grew. The notorious Barbara Lerner Spectre and (((similar))) arrived, bringing the taint of evil with them.
Finally the combination of Jewish influence and longstanding Swedish liberalism brought about the disastrous equivalent of the “refugees welcome” ideas so prevalent in the UK. Migration-invasion. The untermenschen flooded in from all parts of Africa and Asia. You see the results…(and yes, both the Swedish authorities and the Daily Mail prefer not to notice the immigration aspect of the crime written about above).
[Note the frequent and (((typical))) humourless “smiling for no reason” rictus]
Germany too…
“Angela Merkel said she would ‘make essentially the same decisions’ when a journalist questioned whether she regrets opening the German border to migrants in 2015.” [Daily Mail]
I am also told that, 'based on best case scenario for a false positive rate in the PCR test of 0.5%, if 100,000 people in Oxford were tested this weekend, 500 healthy people could test positive and they would all be false. On this basis, Oxford would be shut down.' Absurd. https://t.co/15Doz4kMXR
Any idea why people have such trouble understanding proportionality?
In 2003, for instance, the number of 0-16 year-olds killed by a respiratory illness (eg Influenza) was 182. Did we close the country down? Were we eugenicist for failing to do so? https://t.co/gmMAzW9BYv
This Coronavirus panic and madness just gets worse. People who feel and basically are well and healthy, or have minor and temporary symptoms such as a sore throat, are tested, and if positive in more than a few cases, are presented in the msm as “an outbreak” of “the virus”, and a whole city is then shut down! It’s just crazy.
The supposed “government” of this poor country is on a mad ride through the darkening world, shutting down cities, making the compliant (so far compliant…) population wear facemasks or muzzles. Meanwhile, and as a direct result, millions are and millions more will be unemployed, shops and chains of shops are shutting down, not (this time) by government order, but because they are insolvent, again a direct result of misguided and in fact mad policies of Boris-idiot and his clowns in Cabinet.
London and other cities are little better than ghost towns, and until this mad Coronavirus panic ends, will be.
The stupid thing is that no-one or virtually no-one is now dying from “the virus”. The decline in deaths has been steady from early April 2020 to now, when it has reached zero. Nearly 5 months of uninterrupted decline, during all of which time except the past month no-one was wearing facemasks except a few of the mentally unstable.
'Oxford on 'amber alert' after rise in coronavirus cases'… from virtually none to almost none, and *no* information on how many of these are actually ill. And now, as in Leicester they set up a new test centre to find more. https://t.co/ZwkHmRT1cn
The economy of my home town, Oxford, has been devastated by the panic measures imposed by our teenage government. Now, a faltering recovery is threatened by a tiny rise in tiny figures for so-called 'cases' of Covid, when we do not even know if any of them are actually ill.
Yes, that's about it, I think @jimkyle90. And where are the elected councillors, or indeed voices in the Oxford local media, prepared to criticise or examine this? I have seen and heard none. We have all the features of a one-party state, except the name. https://t.co/gsGI7k0XcS
Sadly, the mentally-unstable, who exist (it often seems) in hugely greater numbers than heretofore, have been triggered by the “virus” and subsequent facemask nonsense, and have found a spurious cause upon which to latch, and so be able to express their malice while pretending to be virtuous and altruistic citizens. See, for example, my encounter with a Waitrose cashier (in yesterday’s blog post); or read the tweet by one “@fakevexorian”, below:
Alas, there do seem to be people who genuinely believe this sort of thing @fakevexorian. The government propagandists who have brought this hysteria into being have much on their consciences. Meanwhile I am sorry for you, if you actually mean what you say. https://t.co/6qOXOiv9Tv
Exactly what one hears from elsewhere. Her neighbour has been too scared (by Boris-idiot and his clowns, and his surprisingly stupid scientific advisers, and the toytown police state, and the busybodies) to go out from his home…for months!
David Icke spotted in the crowd. Thanks to a follower for sending me views closer to the speakers.. pic.twitter.com/F0m65MndP7
What David Icke is saying in that brief clip is correct. There is an agenda being pursued, and it encompasses, along with many other things, the “Coronavirus” “laws” (not laws, just secondary legislation created via abuse of law) and “rules” (invalid legally: see preceding point), the governmental reaction and behaviour across the world, not only in the UK, and it may even encompass the “Coronavirus” itself, meaning in the way that it suddenly appeared not only in China but also almost (?) simultaneously in Europe.
As soon as the news media went mad over “the virus”, there was —immediately— a spate of “virus”, “pandemic” sci-fi movies, drama films and documentaries on UK television. Every day. This was surely no co-incidence.
The various oppressive measures such as the facemask nonsense (in the UK only mandated long after the virus itself had peaked and in fact when the traces of the virus were disappearing, along with the seriously affected —few— patients), are all part of a “control” agenda.
Another aspect is the “Black Lives Matter” campaign. I don’t mean the petty if unpleasant manifestations by the blacks themselves and the “antifa” “useful idiots” (American cities burning, British statues toppled). I mean the actions of those with real economic, political, cultural power.
That has all revved up. “Ordinary people” have started to notice that white people are being marginalized in TV ads, soaps, dramas, films etc. That despite the fact that about 87%, officially, of the UK population, is still composed of white (ie Northern European) people (it was 92% in 2001, though, only 19 years ago); even in England it is still maybe 80%: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/United_Kingdom#Ethnic_groups;
[proportion of non-whites in the UK]
Yet you can see that almost every TV ad contains “blacks and browns” (etc), as do TV dramas, including those set in the England of the 1960s, 1950s, even 1940s! The aim is obvious: to say to the viewers, many of whom were born after 1970, “look, see, there were always blacks and others here, even in the 1950s, even in small villages in Oxfordshire, Cambridgeshire etc“…
When members of the public call radio talk programmes to complain about all this, they are either laughed at, or put down, or simply not allowed to put forward their concerns.
The same is true of the (((controlled))) newspapers, even the ones that amount to “controlled opposition”, such as the Daily Mail. Many no longer have “readers’ comments” pages; or such pages are “moderated” (politically monitored and censored).
This (above) is all part of the so-called Great Replacement, which amounts to gradual genocide of white and especially white Northern European people in this world. The World Economic Forum [WEF] calls it, quite openly now, the “Great Reset”. The WEF openly welcomes “the virus” as a means to attaining that goal (look at their Twitter output).
Look what happened when the wave of “BLM” protests broke, a few months ago. Immediately, on UK TV (and around the world in the “white countries”), there were ads supporting “Black Lives Matter”. Who paid? Sky, ITV, Channel 4, large companies, transnational companies.
Openly proclaimed by President George Bush snr. in 1991 at the time of the first Gulf War, it was first publicly proclaimed as an ideal by President Woodrow Wilson during the aftermath of the First World War. President Franklin D. Roosevelt also referred to it in 1940, at a time when he was planning to get the USA involved in the war against the German Reich.
You see the way it works, the way in which the NWO needs war in order to advance its wider interests. Not American interests, but NWO interests which are embedded, however, in the USA, in its power structures, in its “Deep State” etc.
We are now looking at the next world war. Maybe only a couple of years away.

This is the real cost of the futile “lockdown” (shutdown). The NHS staff protected from getting Coronavirus, but the price includes the lives of tens of thousands of NHS patients, untreated and even undiagnosed with serious medical problems.
Ha ha! The tweet below from “John Urquhart/@TheDryhtscipe” made me laugh: “I have no interest in interacting with racist fucking scum“, says he, under the banner of…the “Harmony Party UK”! Some people have so little self-awareness that it is hilarious!
You think we should be thanking Sir Keir Starmer whose reckless Brexit policy lost Labour 52 Leave-voting seats and helped enable Boris Johnson's 80-seat majority?
BBC needs to refocus as public continues to lose patience after Proms row
BBC ranks 178th in a list of the most popular brands in Britain and the Proms debacle has further frustrated viewers with odd decisions and getting caught up in needless side-showshttps://t.co/1zhEB9DGyg
Nick Griffin is right. BBC News reported that (only) “hundreds attended” and used a clip of film obviously taken after many had already left for home or wherever. The BBC is a lying System mouthpiece.
This crowds of many thousands [below] is what the BBC called “hundreds“…
I’m here at Trafalgar Square reporting on the protest against extending the Covid emergency measures, which will be reviewed by Parliament next month. Massive crowd and the police so far are simply observing. pic.twitter.com/1lDwUwvuMw
Yes, but this was a wholly illegitimate use of delegated legislation, creating powers never envisaged in the 1984 PH Act on which it was based. A decent Parliament, and proper courts, would have thrown it out. Law cannot be made lawlessly. https://t.co/Nylws5XXws
…which is why (as with the “lockdown”), all cases of persons charged with not wearing a facemask, all cases that actually come to court (as far as I know, none, yet…) will fail at court, or fall at appeal level, if anyone is ever actually brought to court on such a charge.
What is happening is that the government of clowns has brought in regulations that are mere secondary legislation, and under primary legislation never intended or drafted to be used for such a purpose. Invalid “law”, in short. Banana republic law. Fake law. Its purpose is to bully the population in conjunction with the scare propaganda about “the virus”.
Why @OxfordLordMayor? HM government itself has said that 'the evdence of the benefit of wearing a face coveringto protect others is weak and the effect is likely to be small' Plus, remember that many are exempt. https://t.co/N3WrY7RkC8
Interesting @mightybronan.I'm amazed at the way people can't see through the obsession with testing. It in no way diminishes the incidence of the virus. It detects cases with no symptoms. But it is then used as a pretext to maintain and deepen the panic. Its actual purpose. https://t.co/uxYGC1PtwS
It is reported that, yesterday, 3 people died, in the whole of the UK, from or at least with Coronavirus. Three people. Out of nearly 70 million in the country. Out of several thousand being tested every day now as having Coronavirus.
It follows that there now is no substantial public health threat in the UK from Coronavirus; what does exist is panic and unwarranted fear, being stoked up deliberately by the UK government and its advisers.
The facemask nonsense has nothing to do with public health. It is as divorced from reality as the Dutch Tulip Craze of the 17th Century.
The same is true of the quarantine nonsense, which has already led to a rash of stories about how ingenious Brits have made it back to our sceptred shores with minutes to spare before they would have had to “self-isolate” (quaere: does the government really believe that people are going to “self-isolate”? It’s another “fantasy law” from Boris-idiot).
As to those just beating the quarantine deadline, we have had, in the msm today, bicycling families just breasting the tape with minutes to spare, and an octet which, having performed in a monastery in Normandy, hired a French fishing boat to get back to Newhaven in time. Stylish. In all, a Dunkirk-lite reprise. As Marx said, “first time tragedy, second time farce”…(and cf. Churchill/Boris-idiot…).
A quarantine (even an ineffective “self-isolation” one) might have had some logic behind it in March or April, but not now. Like the facemask nonsense, it is completely pointless.
Another point worth noting is that the countries now seeing upsurges in “the virus” are the very ones stupid enough to have imposed severe “lockdowns”: Spain, Italy, France. Hello? Is anyone listening?
Of course, it's perfectly acceptable for the police to invite you down to the station to talk about your YouTube and Facebook accounts. They want to ensure you're thinking correctly. https://t.co/xjl1idByHY
This is what Britain now is, a place where people can be questioned by the police, not for anything truly criminal, but for posting about matters online, even posts which the police themselves accept, and in advance of interview, are not criminal! This is what the police now are— socio-politicized, biased, and riddled with Common Purpose drones at a high level.
Note that that letter was from the Nottinghamshire Police, a force which has one of the least-impressive records in dealing with real crime; the same is true of Derbyshire Police, who have been snooping on and persecuting the satirical singer-songwriter Alison Chabloz for years.
Snowden was obviously not an agent of Russian Intelligence at the start, meaning at the time of his flight from Hawaii. The Russians would have extracted him much more efficiently if he had been an agent. Instead, he went to Hong Kong and messed around there for days, risking capture and/or extradition.
Still, interesting that Trump is considering the possibility of a pardon. Unless, of course, the news is just bait, to interest Snowden in returning to the USA.

Very little @joe_363_. Nothing is often a more sensible approach than a misdirected and damaging policy such as that followed by our present government. During previous outbreaks of disease, such as the much larger Mao Flu of 1968-9, none of these measures was taken. https://t.co/tAB64NszyY

PETER HITCHENS: My suspicion is that the wrecking of the economy and the state-sponsored panic of these times has killed more people than Covid ever did https://t.co/dV90rM8ZJA
As I have written previously on this blog, I repost quite a few Peter Hitchens tweets, not because I am a “supporter” or “fan” of Hitchens, but because he is quite often correct. That especially applies to his views about the “virus” panic and the absurd (and either mistaken or malicious) governmental over-reaction to it.
What is that supposed to mean? Marijuana possession, a deliberate act, has been a crime for decades, made so by a free Parliament. Now an arbitrary decree imposes fines for what has been normal behaviour since the beginning of time.. https://t.co/h0hl6fyADB
Of course, Hitchens is right to say that discontent should grow and be expressed now that the State is seriously restricting freedoms such as movement, association, personal clothing, as well as free speech; and the fact is that Parliament now scarcely exists except as a rubber stamp. However, if I were to state my hopes for what might happen, I should no doubt have evil and malicious snoopers reporting me to the “authorities” in what has become a toytown police state. So I stay silent, or at least superficially silent.
Free speech on historical topics again under attack by Jews
We see repeatedly that, in the UK, voters vote only for parties, not for individuals. One example was the ignominious defeat of Simon Danczuk in Rochdale in 2017. His first election, in 2010, resulted in a vote-share of about 36%. His second election, in 2015, gave him a vote-share of about 46%. Both times under Labour label. After Danczuk had been deselected by Labour, he tried to get elected as Independent in 2017. Result? 1.8% (883 votes). Fifth place (out of six). The new Labour candidate won, with 58% of the vote.
Another example. Anne Milton was Conservative Party MP for Guildford from 2005. She also won the elections of 2010, 2015 and 2017, at the last of which her vote-share was nearly 55%.
An important distinction from the Danczuk case was there had been no scandal attaching to Anne Milton; she was deselected (the whip taken away by Boris Johnson) purely because of her opposition to “no-deal Brexit” and she was given the chance to stand again as a Conservative Party candidate at Guildford if she dropped her opposition. She refused and stood as Independent.
Anne Milton’s principled stance availed her naught; neither did her 14 years as MP for Guildford, nor her uninvolvement in any expenses scandal (or any other scandal). She got only 7.4% (over 4,000 votes, a 4th place out of 5) at the 2019 General Election. The new Conservative Party candidate won, with about 45%.
While Anne Milton’s defeat in 2019 was more honourable than that of Danczuk, the result, in bottom-line terms, was similar, a bad defeat. Her only consolation: she retained her deposit.
The “main parties” (and that really means just Labour and Conservative) still have a complete stranglehold because the sleepy voters are still voting mainly for a label.
How ignorant are you of politics @argybargy1950, on a scale of one to 10? MPs are selected by closed committees of the major parties (which would never pick me), and then obediently confirmed by voters in safe seats. No truly independent candidate is ever elected. https://t.co/Hf35nUScg7
This is a very good example of the pathology, not of “the virus” itself, but of the fear of it. A teacher in a State secondary school resigns because he fears that he might contract “the virus” by being in the same building or room as children or young persons. Well, it is possible, of course, though unlikely; any such school students infected would probably themselves not show any symptoms and be in no danger.
As for the teacher, yes, he might pick it up from those pupils, though it is probably a thousand to one chance. If the teacher were unlucky and were infected, his chance of needing any medical intervention would be small, hundreds to one. His chance of being seriously affected would be tiny. His chance of dying from “the virus” would be even smaller. His age is not mentioned, but probably under 60, probably under 50. His fear is misplaced.
Thus we see the way in which the fear whipped up by the government of clowns and its ludicrous “SAGE” advisers has led many rather unthinking people to make panicked decisions.
In any case, the alternative is simply to have no schools open until an effective vaccine is found and deployed, which might be months, years, or never. I have little respect for the UK educational system as it is, but the result of, in effect, having no education at all given to the young, would be worse (probably).
Straw man @imdsm . Do you perhaps accept there is something new and important about a government compelling people to wear a garment, not to preserve modesty but to indicate compliance with a contentious policy, and spread exaggerated fear? https://t.co/cIxzi4cxEP

Tom Watson and Keir Starmer
Well, wouldn’t you know it? Tom Watson (Jewish lobby mouthpiece), is going to get a peerage after all, proposed by Keir Starmer (Jewish lobby mouthpiece). How utterly disgusting.
Personally, I prefer to keep out of this “Labour Party antisemitism” stuff, not because I am afraid of being sued (least of all by the extreme Jewish lobby solicitor of choice, Mark Lewis) but because I am not a Labour supporter or member, and am well-known for being an independent anti-Zionist, overall, and a social nationalist.
I am confident that I can defend myself, should it be necessary, against any charge of defamation by anyone, but I have a copper-bottomed armour anyway, inasmuch as I have no money or real property now, so anyone who sues me will lose out (hugely, I would make sure of that) even if (unlikely) they were to win in court. Checkmate.
Ha ha! I typed, in error, “unkikely” instead of “unlikely“. I suppose that a psychologist could make something of that!
If anyone wants to see what I have written about that self-promoting fake, Mark Lewis, please use the search function on my blog. There are a number of what I think are interesting articles (certainly many thousands of people have seen them). They are quite hard-hitting (though accurate) and date from late 2018 and early 2019 .
Lewis had the chance to sue me in 2018 or 2019 if he thought that I was libelling him. He was well aware of my blog posts. He never did sue, he never threatened to sue. My impecuniosity may have been part of the reason, but I maintain that another reason was because my blog tells the truth. It is not a pack of lies but true right the way through.
🇸🇪Sweden, even though the Swedes rarely wear masks or social distance. 🇬🇧London, England, where the bars and movie theaters are open, yet the health situation appears to be stable https://t.co/sk2FMwAZmcpic.twitter.com/flFPuBtdxg
📉 In both London and Sweden, case and death rates have plummeted.
Some research suggests that regions acquire partial herd immunity at 20% exposure. Earlier estimates had suggested up to 70% exposure would be needed. If true, this could be very good news https://t.co/sk2FMwAZmcpic.twitter.com/qZhYBP2aZr
My view about all that has changed little or not at all in the past 5 months. I think that “the virus” swept through Europe in March/April, peaked then, and after that subsided. The death toll in the UK has dropped steadily since just before the middle of April, and that has been the situation in most if not all of Europe, regardless of whether the country concerned had a “lockdown” (shutdown of almost everything) or not.
Naturally, mass testing has resulted in many more “new cases”, people who, yes, have “the virus”, but who have few or no symptoms. Ludicrously, the recent increase or bulge in “cases” has trumped the falling death rate in terms of the governmental response.
As for the facemask nonsense, only now, when the death rate is almost flat, has the UK government of clowns mandated the wearing of masks or muzzles.
At present, in August 2020, on any given day, any UK resident has a one in THREE MILLION chance of dying with or from (mostly “with”) Coronavirus! At present, for example, a UK resident would have to take about 11,000 train journeys to even be infected! Not to die; just to be infected.
A society cannot live, certainly cannot live decently, when its population is muzzled and its economy shut down. Now, at last, most businesses in the UK are again open, but the retail ones are supposed to police the wearing of facemasks by their customers. I cannot see that that will encourage shoppers; quite to the contrary.
Already, millions of people in this country have been laid off (or not taken on) despite the “furlough” and other payments from central government funds. There will almost certainly be millions more.
This should be, in logic, the moment when everything is allowed to open up again, with the arguable exception of pubs and nightclubs. Of course, had it been my decision to make, Britain never would have been “locked down” anyway (except for pubs and nightclubs…and inward flights).
Boris-idiot and little Matt Hancock (advised by the ludicrous SAGE people) did everything wrong, pretty much: “locked down” most businesses, forced Britain to take a massive hit economically, destroyed much of the feeling that UK people still had civil rights, destroyed the proper functioning of the legal and courts system, turned the police into toytown bullies and nuisances, failed to stop inward flights; and even now are making the wrong decisions: mandating useless facemasks or muzzles, “locking down” towns or parts of cities etc.
Britain has survived a lot in its history, but I am not so sure that it will survive, in a recognizable form, this “virus” panic. Respect for the police and law has been greatly weakened, people know that the government are a bunch of clowns, but the official Opposition is similar and in fact almost invisible.
The consequences of the “virus” panic might be overcome, were they to stand alone. However, Britain has to contend with other pressures coming at the same time: the Brexit effect for one.
I supported Leave, support Brexit, but the governments of Theresa May and Boris-idiot have mishandled Britain’s exit to an extent that surprised even a reluctant cynic like me. Now, Britain is looking at potential chaos in some areas, at least initially.
Then we have the continuing migration-invasion, which not only does the government seem powerless to halt, but which it is actually encouraging! Boris-idiot has invited 4 million Hong Kong Chinese to live in the UK, which would require (will require?) enormous amounts of building, road construction etc.
To put it one way, 4 million people equates to nearly 1.5 times the population of the whole of Greater Manchester (2.8 million) or approximately the population of the Birmingham metropolitan area (4+ million).
To put it another way, Boris-idiot has invited a population the equivalent of between a quarter and a third of that living now in the entire London area sprawl to come to the UK.
Also, the “points-based” immigration system which is present government policy will mean that 660 MILLION immigrants could, in principle, come here. Yes, I know that 660,000,000 will in fact not come here, but 66 million might, and 6 million (oh…) or more certainly would.
In other words, we see that the incompetence of the present UK government masks more obviously sinister motives by those standing behind the present government.

One has to ask, what kind of country allows itself to be “led” or “ruled” by a Cabinet composed almost entirely by persons of alien origin? Jews, part-Jews, Indians etc.
Rishi Sunak makes it sound like our dependence on services (and relatedly low paid jobs) is a function of how sociable we are as a nation rather than (at least in part) a direct consequence of government policy over the last 40 years – chickens, home, roost… https://t.co/z1NdRB72qA
Well @Keir_Starmer – do you support this expression of Zionism, do you want Labour members expelled for naming Israel as an apartheid state?https://t.co/XubYJG2RxT

Two points on the above: firstly, the tweeter may or may not be aware that, just like that little pissant Robert Jenrick, Keir Starmer is married to a Jewish woman (a lawyer), and their children are being brought up as Jewish. In other words, Starmer is completely in the Jew-Zionist pocket (to say the least); Starmer is also a Labour “Friend of Israel”.
Secondly, that sad scene from Jerusalem reinforces the fact that where Jews live in any but very small numbers, non-Jews have no decent life and certainly no freedom. That applies as much in the UK as it does in occupied Palestine (“Israel”). You only have to look at how Zionist Jews in the UK are trying to strangle free speech. Take a look at my own experiences in this regard, or some of such, over the past 6-7 years:
What the pseudo-socialists of today cannot accept is that National Socialism in Germany actually created, in a few short years (really 6 years only, the years of peace 1933-39) a society which gave the majority, in fact the vast majority, of the German population, benefits hitherto only promised as “pie in the sky” by finance-capitalist parties and the social-democrat and socialist parties, let alone the KPD (German communists), who supported the blood-soaked and poverty-stricken rule of Stalin in the Soviet Union.

Met Police Federation chairman Ken Marsh: "Let's get this very clear. Dawn Butler wasn't stopped and searched. She spoke to some officers and was quite belligerent and rude to them. They handled themselves in a fantastic way".
It turns out that Ms. Butler was not stopped (in fact the car seems to have been being driven by a white man of some kind) “because she is black“, because that car had tinted windows! Or maybe it was after dark. Will check…
I expect that Dawn Butler would make a good candidate for my occasional series, “Deadhead MPs”. In fact, looking at her Wikipedia entry, I am unsure how she has avoided being profiled by me already: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Dawn_Butler#Expenses.
Some Parliamentary constituencies in the UK, particularly in London, are becoming like some of the more “ghetto” cities in the USA, places where only blacks can stand for election, realistically, because the black mobs there will only vote for a black candidate, no matter how stupid, uneducated, uncultured, incompetent or corrupt.

Coronavirus (again)
“More Britons have been killed by flu and pneumonia than coronavirus for seven weeks in a row, new data has revealed.
Research published by the Office for National Statistics found influenza caused more deaths in the UK than Covid-19 between June 19 and July 31.
In the seven-week period, 6,626 Britons were killed by flu or pneumonia – compared to 2,992 coronavirus deaths.” [Daily Mail]

I’m going to be taking a step back from here (again). Not because I want to, but because if I don’t, I worry that I’ll lose my job. And I have a family to support.

In the car earlier, heard a piano piece (via Radio 3) by someone whose name I did not catch, and who apparently was a noted young female composer who died young (I think that the presenter said aged 27). It caught my attention because it was called “Maida Vale“, and may have been (I don’t know) inspired by visits to the BBC studios, Maida Vale, which still exist: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Maida_Vale_Studios (Wikipedia says that closure was announced in 2018, but as of today, the studios are, it seems, still in temporary use, if I did not mishear; I thought that the programme was being broadcast from there, but I was reading at the time too).
[BBC Maida Male Studios, London]
I myself lived in Maida Vale for about 20 years (but with breaks), though I was in Little Venice, and the BBC studios are much further out.
As to that short piano piece, it was actually quite intriguing, the style see-sawing between a French Belle Epoque composition and something almost in the style of Gershwin, I thought. That was my not very considered impression, anyway.
I was obviously wrong about her possible connection with Maida Vale Studios though, despite the fact that the building was constructed in 1909. She may have known the building, though not as studios. It was an ice-rink at first, and only became BBC studios after reconstruction in 1933-34.

Well! Small world. The lady was apparently friendly with not only D.H. Lawrence, but Ezra Pound, the near-martyred American poet [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Ezra_Pound], and with Prince Yusupov [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Felix_Yusupov], the leader of the assassins who killed Rasputin. I myself knew a lady who, as a young girl, knew Yusupov, who became a friend of the girl’s father and stayed with them in the 1930s at their estate in East Prussia. By a strange quirk of fate, the lady I knew lived, when I knew her, in Maida Vale and had done since the late 1950s.
An annoying early-morning start to the day, waking up not far past the middle of the night to typical rubbish on the BBC World Service. A programme called United Zingdom, in which what sounded like two Welsh women (one certainly was, being one Lisa Angharad) got together to trash England, the UK, and the British people. One of them apparently has a Singapore passport as well as a British one.
Everything, it seems, is the fault of “the British” (English). They, the English, are basically nasty, “racist” etc. They should not want their own country, language, customs, population. Now Wales, Wales is different! It (apparently) should have its own language etc. The bias and sheer untruth in that little broadcast was incredible.
The woman with the Singapore passport was asked about whether she would prefer to live there and seemed to affirm, though she said that “but they have anti-gay laws there…”, which apparently was a drawback. She then added “…but the British brought those to Singapore“. Ah, so once more the British (and failing that, no doubt any other white Northern Europeans) were to blame! I should have guessed. The other woman then chimed in with “ah, the British again“. Why are we paying (forced to pay) the BBC so that it can pay bitches like that to spout anti-British propaganda?
They should have added that, until the British arrived on the island of Singapore, there was nothing there at all, and had not been for at least 200 years: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/History_of_Singapore
Another couple of deliberate inaccuracies: we were told that the Welsh language is vibrant and becoming more spoken, and that there is “a huge upsurge” in Welsh nationalism.
Language: I myself know from experience in the 1980s that Welsh is naturally a first language in some areas, in West Wales especially. It seems however that less than a quarter of the Welsh population as a whole speak Welsh to any useable standard: https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Welsh_language
Welsh nationalism: Plaid Cymru is only nominally “nationalist” anyway, willing to have people in Wales “whatever their race, nationality, gender, colour, creed [etc]” [Plaid Cymru platform].
Plaid Cymru controls only one local council in Wales (out of dozens). It also has 4 out of 40 Westminster MPs (a figure unchanged or not much changed since the 1970s), and in the last (and final) EU elections had elected 1 MEP out of 4 (their best result was in 1999, 2 out of 5).
Conclusion: there is no upsurge of Welsh “nationalism”, let alone a huge one.
The trashing of the World Service has been one of the saddest things over the past 30 years. It was once interesting, lively, truthful, stimulating. 1970s and 1980s. Now, it cannot even seem to be able to tell the time clearly! The World Service seemed to go into a kind of spiral of decline in the 1990s. A Jewish woman whose name I forget was on constantly, and —quelle surprise— obsessed on air about “holocaust” and “Nazis” almost nonstop.
The decline of BBC World Service continued, reaching (I hope) the bottom round about 2010. In the past year or two, there has been a slight improvement, but only slight. There are still only a few worthwhile programmes, the best being The Forum, especially when presented by Bridget Kendall: https://www.bbc.co.uk/programmes/w3cszjvchttps://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Bridget_Kendall.
Martin Bell, the famous broadcaster, journalist and one-term MP [Independent, Tatton] made the point several times that, in dangerous parts of the world (Iraq, Bosnia etc) people know the BBC World Service, yet the World Service is funded on a shoestring compared to rather useless projects such as the British Council [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/British_Council]
I really value the BBC World Service, which is precisely why I despise what it has largely become. As Nietzsche wrote: “the great despisers are also the great reverers” [Friedrich Nietzsche, Also Sprach Zarathustra].

I’m so sick of this ‘The British People’ nonsense. It’s inflammatory and divisive and also errant vacuous nonsense with no meaning in a multi-party democracy. The phrase should be banned from political discourse. https://t.co/zVW56W5qlZ
Here we see science popularizer Professor Brian Cox putting forward, yet again, his tendentious political views. The sort of person all too common in the UK, meaning someone who wants the country to become even more of a multikulti dustbin. After all, “I’m all right, Jack”.
There are two types of scientist: the ones doing serious research and perhaps making real and even great discoveries or leaps forward; then there are the others, who are basically popular in the mass media, write books popular with the public, are on TV frequently, rack up official honours (and plenty of money) for all that. Nuff said…
Cox is a good example of the “clever person” (not infrequently someone of scientific background) who has come to think that he is a good deal more clever than he is and who, at least when out of his specialist area or areas, is rather silly.
Incidentally, he presumably meant to say “arrant nonsense“, not “errant nonsense“…
they are criminals trying to break in to our country illegally. We shouldn't be saving these people at all. They could stay in France and have zero need to come here apart from to fleece our country.
I fancy a nice house on the beach in either Africa or Asia. I'll admit, government benefits would do nicely too, along with free education & health care. Guaranteed sunshine. Do you think the natives would accept me & my white arsed family when we pitch up?
There are huge numbers of bien-pensant idiots in the UK, who love to think of themselves as kind, compassionate, generous etc, as they virtue-signal on Twitter and elsewhere. The famous or infamous ones, such as Yvette Cooper, Lily Allen, Gary Lineker etc are only the tip of the iceberg. Below their capital, income, and public-recognition levels, there are thousands, perhaps even millions of others.
I hesitate to say that none of those people, the “refugees welcome” dimwits, would ever accommodate migrant-invaders in their own homes. A few of the brainwashed and obscure ones might, just as, out of tens of millions, a very few people swim the Channel (to France, usually!), or learn to speak 10 languages fluently.
I met a man once who worked near Elephant and Castle, London, and who could speak, not 10 languages, admittedly, but certainly 8 languages fluently, and those languages did include some of the near-“impossible” ones, such as Finnish and Hungarian.
Such people are rare. They are not the general run. Most of the “refugees welcome” dimwits want the State and/or other people (which is all the State is, in the end) to house and feed those migrant-invaders, and to educate the children of the invaders. The dimwits prioritize the invaders over English/British people such as the ex-soldiers sleeping on the streets, or the middle-aged Brits struggling to survive after the (basically Jewish-influenced) “austerity” of 2010-2020 and the socio-economic upheavals which have occurred and those which lie ahead.
I thought that Richard Tice, 2-i-c of Brexit Party, had been nominated for a peerage; apparently not. Claire Fox has, though. What a strange nomination that is.
I first saw Claire Fox [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Claire_Fox] on TV about a decade ago. I think that it was on Newsnight. Or Daily Politics. I think the former. She was supposedly the head of something called The Institute of Ideas. I was curious enough to look it up via Internet. There was not much to see. The “Institute” seemed to consist mainly of Claire Fox, and (I found out after a while) seemed to be funded mainly by a City of London hedge fund speculator Jew, whose name I cannot at present recall.
As for Claire Fox herself, as seen on TV, she was not at all impressive, not convincing; there was something fake about her and her “Institute”, even before I started to look into it.
I found the “Institute of Ideas” to be little more than a facade; indeed, little more than a catchy name. I was unable to discover much about it. The whole thing seemed opaque, insubstantial. One could not grasp hold of it.
I see now that others, such as the journalist and TV news presenter, Jon Snow, had similar problems:
” The news broadcaster Jon Snow, according to a Guardian article, withdrew from an event to which he had been invited by the Royal Society of Arts after realising the IoI’s involvement. Snow felt there was a lack of transparency. ‘I didn’t have a clear idea of who they were,’ he said. This lack of transparency affects almost every aspect of IoI events, as the article notes: ‘From the platforms and the floor, the LM [Living Marxism] line is assiduously promoted by the magazine’s supporters and contributors – often without clear attribution of their affiliations.’ ” [Lobbywatch] http://www.lobbywatch.org/profile1.asp?PrId=142]
It seems that the “Institute” was founded in 2000 by Fiona Fox, sister of Claire Fox, and other undisclosed persons. Fiona Fox also heads the Science Media Centre [http://www.lobbywatch.org/profile1.asp?PrId=121], which is embedded within the very Establishment scientific body, the Royal Institution [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Royal_Institution]. Another sister, Gemma Fox, heads an EU-funded IT organization in Wales.
Another fairly high-profile person connected with the above is Frank Furedi, a person of Hungarian origins, frequently on BBC radio [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Frank_Furedi], whose wife is the head of the UK’s largest abortion “advice” organization.
Some of the tweets of Spiked can command my support, many cannot, such as this pitiful article:
Hiroshima was an experiment in extermination. The West viewed the Japanese as racially distinct and inferior. Sadly, this kind of racial thinking has returned with a vengeance. We must say loud and clear: there is only one human race, says @MsDinglehttps://t.co/vKTf4MrWc1
Taking just the main contention of that article, the Anglo-American atom-bomb project aka the Manhattan Project or Tube Alloys [https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Manhattan_Project; https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Tube_Alloys] had as its primary aim the destruction of Germany and the German people, not Japan. Most of the scientists of importance were Jews. They hated Germany and National Socialism. Some were also Communists. Germany was only saved from atomic destruction by its unconditional surrender before the bomb was ready to be used.
The above exploration may or may not be interesting, but what interests me now and particularly is why did Boris-idiot (Boris Johnson) nominate Claire Fox for a peerage? Why?
Claire Fox has no real academic pedigree. Even in the 1980s (i.e. before the start of the present “award inflation”, by which almost all students get a supposed “First” or “Upper Second” degree), a 2:2 in English and American Literature scarcely cut it in the academic world! She was a mental health social worker for some years after graduation, then for 10 years a lecturer in English Literature at a couple of technical colleges in South Essex and in South Hertfordshire.
I think that we can be sure that Claire Fox’s peerage nomination was not for “services to education”!
We have already seen that, as a “think tank”, the “Institute of Ideas” scarcely existed. Even as an active lobby group, its activities do not seem to have had much impact. Claire Fox, despite a few appearances on TV, including the —now very outdated— Question Time, was not until recently (until 2019) a very publicly-known person; neither has she been involved with anything normally likely to attract an honour of any sort, let alone a peerage.
What about Claire Fox’s political life? Well, membership of the Revolutionary Communist Party or anything like it has never been an easy route to the House of Lords! Anyone with similar views who ended up with a peerage at least had to pretend to be “Labour”! I cannot think of many, even so. A few Jews, now long gone, perhaps. As for a “revolutionary communist”, even one now sort-of apostate, being ennobled “on the recommendation of” a Conservative Party Prime Minister would have been unthinkable, until now.
Claire Fox joined Nigel Farage’s pop-up “Brexit Party” in 2019, was selected (along with at least two other “former” Revolutionary Communist Party members) as a candidate for the European elections. She was elected, and was an MEP for about a year, until the UK nominally left the EU. One year…
It goes beyond that. Claire Fox has said things that many consider unforgiveable, such as, and in particular, her championing of IRA bombing in 1993, specifically the killing of a child.
Looking at it all, it seems inconceivable that, even a few years ago, or today, such a person could ever be nominated for a peerage, to become one of the UK’s upper house legislators, even bearing in mind the weird collection now in the Lords. Yet there she sits (soon). In fact, her previous (never reversed) support for the IRA has not stood in her way. Even the Sun “newspaper” has her on its YouTube channel!
Not that I disagree with everything she says. I agree with some of what she is saying in the above clip. [Having now —several hours later— seen all of the interview, I concede that I agree with a good deal of what she says in it].
So why was she given (nomination for) a peerage? I cannot entirely work it out, but it is obviously connected with her work for Brexit, and even more so with the standing down of most Brexit Party candidates while the election campaign was ongoing. A stunning act of betrayal by con-man Nigel Farage. He shot his own party in the neck. Or the back. Moreover, he stood down only candidates facing previously-incumbent or new Conservative Party candidates! Including Conservative Party candidates who were Remain supporters!
Nigel Farage ensured that the Conservative Party won the 2019 General Election. It might have won anyway, but might not have done, and certainly would not have achieved a Commons majority of 80 (or any majority).
If I am correct, and Claire Fox has been somehow rewarded for supporting Farage in his betrayal, why has Farage himself (or his 2-i-c, Tice), not been nominated for the House of Lords? There could be a number of reasons, such as (speculating) that Farage has been paid, as his reward, millions of pounds into an offshore secret account. Why not? I have no evidence that that is the case, but it seems not unlikely to me. £10 million? £20 million? Cheap at the price, when you get the UK in exchange…
Anyway, “the night is young”. Farage still might get a peerage from Boris-idiot; next year, or the year after. Tice too, maybe. Maybe Claire Fox getting one now is in the nature of a “statement of intent” or down-payment to Farage. Maybe giving Farage a peerage right now would make the corruption and betrayal just too obvious. Next year? 2022? Maybe.
The present politics of the System is more than sleazy. It has to be exterminated.

I think that the film is one of the best of its type that I have seen. Quite long on TV (with ad breaks, 2 hrs 35 mins), it nonetheless kept the attention throughout (and that is not always the case with me: in younger days, as a 20-something, I was notorious among my friends for getting bored and walking out of cinemas after 20 or 30 minutes of the start of a film).
Assuming that the film was accurate (and I do remember some of the details of that terrible event of 2013), the wife of the main terrorist —she was a Muslim convert, he a Chechen resident in the Boston area— was lucky that it was considered that there was insufficient evidence to charge her.
As for the surviving terrorist, he only last week won his appeal against the death sentence he eventually received. He will spend the rest of his life in some soulless American prison. He was only 19 when he helped his brother to bomb the marathon event.
Such people cannot be described as “urban guerrillas”, if that term is still in use. They are purely terrorists, actuated by malice rather than anything approaching real ideology.
Some may say, “but look what American forces do, bombing civilians“, and that is true, but even from the point of view of hearts and minds, and leaving aside ethics, to bomb a civilian event like the Boston Marathon has no point and indeed is counter-productive: the Islamists gain nothing but the enmity of a superpower and its people.

The extraordinary thing is that many in government, commerce and the msm seem to assume that the public will rush eagerly to pubs, wine bars, other places, even if forced to wear muzzles orsome sort, and perhaps even be enclosed in separate areas by plastic shower curtains. Screw that! Barbers too.
If my barber insists on me wearing a facemask in his shop (presumably the ladies he employs will also be wearing masks), then I shall just get my hair cut again at home. I am not a pop singer or male model, and no-one cares if I am not perfectly coiffed. I shall also be saving nearly £20 a pop. Ten more Lotto tickets. Yay!

The tweet below amused me. “Antifa” cheerleader (always from well behind the lines), Mike Stuchbery of (now) Stuttgart, claims, not for the first time, that he has several jobs. In reality, he spends most of his time playing the “historian” (deriving his comments from guide books etc), travelling around Baden-Württemberg to see the sights, drinking coffee or beer in cafes, while tweeting and trying to get those of whom he disapproves removed from Twitter, Facebook etc.
Was just texted by one of my employers, who found it very amusing that a 'Steffi Meadows' had emailed, saying that I was a notorious 'anti-white' racist who had to flee England. 🤣
— Mike Stuchbery 💀🍷 (@MikeStuchbery_) July 2, 2020
Actually, I quite like some of his Germany-based tweets about mediaeval and Renaissance history, but he will keep supporting the destruction of white Northern Europe… unacceptable.
Oh, here is the self-styled “historian” unable to spell the name “Mosley”…
She's not being 'cancelled'. She was never acceptable. Oswald Mosely fangirls advocating a white ethnostate aren't exactly stars. However, they are making money through videos.
Hate is no way to pay the bills. She should be looking at seeking gainful employment. https://t.co/0Mxl7FTNZ7
— Mike Stuchbery 💀🍷 (@MikeStuchbery_) July 2, 2020
On previous occasions, “historian” Stuchbery (he also claims to be “journalist” and teacher, among other things) has made other howlers, such as misidentifying a photo of Enoch Powell https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Enoch_Powell as one of Oswald Mosley, and claiming that the Gestapo held the great thinker Rudolf Steiner prisoner for several days in the 1930s, while they interrogated him.
This would have been impossible, because the Gestapo was not even established until 1933 (and in Prussia only, until 1936). Apart from that, Steiner died in Switzerland, and of natural causes, in 1925 (8 years before the Gestapo was established), and was not even in Germany after 1923.
Copying bits out of books or tourist guidebooks does not make anyone “historian”; neither does inventing cartoon-level “anti-fascist” “history”…
Note that Stuchbery tells someone that she should be “seeking gainful employment”, when he himself grifts constantly on all the online donation sites, as well as now getting subsidized by the German “welfare” system. What a hypocrite!
Well, that is interesting. Among the more striking aspects, only 40% think that Boris-idiot “has the nation’s best interests at heart”, only 34% think that he “can be trusted to take big decisions”, only 34% think that he is barely competent! Even his famed “likeable” persona now only fools 39% (as against 51% just a month or so ago).
Oh my goodness…I only just realized that the monkeys who destroyed that English Civil War memorial at Worcester probably thought that “Civil War” meant American Civil War! That must have been why they did it!
Sometimes even I am caught out by the sheer historical illiteracy of those crawling over the country today! (no wonder that many believe that the Germans of WW2 “gassed” millions of Jews in “gas chambers”…)
Meanwhile, in the next county…
Genuine offer to @ShropCouncil leader Peter Nutting.
One of the worst aspects of this pathetic fake “protest” called “Black Lives Matter” is how spineless many English people now are.
Priti useless
“None of the 1,100 migrants who have arrived in Britain illegally by boat over the last seven weeks have been deported – despite persistent pledges from Priti Patel.
The Home Secretary consistently vowed to eradicate crossings and return those who enter the country, but just 155 of nearly 4,000 migrants have been sent back since January last year.“
Seems that there is anyway one person of integrity in the acting “profession”…
“Laurence Fox has vowed to ‘not stand by’ and be silenced by Black Lives Matter protests and will continue speaking out against the ‘inconsistent god of progressivism’ even if he never gets another acting job again.
Referring to the protest movement in his Spectator column he added: ‘Righteous global outrage at a cruel and vile killing has morphed into a different agenda.
‘Similar things have happened with other movements; #MeToo,Extinction Rebellion, Brexit, even the Covid-19 pandemic.” [Spectator/Daily Mail]
Back in the day, Australia had a White Australia Policy. It meant that, until the 1960s (and, because of time lag and events, in effect until the 1990s) Australia was an almost entirely white society. As a child in Sydney in the years 1967-1969, I saw nothing but people of European origin, bar one Aboriginal in the centre of Sydney and one Aboriginal girl in my class at Middle Harbour PS in Mosman (it was equivalent to a British primary school), which girl was on some kind of special programme from the Northern Territory whereby she spent half of the year in a white community.
In the 1970s, a ghastly Australian Labor Party Prime Minister, Gough Whitlam, said that Australia was “a South-East Asian nation“. All the subsequent errors stemmed from this one ur-error. Australia is geographically sui generis (with New Zealand and a few small islands) as Australasia, not merely an extension of Asia.
From the 1970s, under political leaders such as Bob Hawke, Australia widened its doors. The Asians, Africans and others flooded in. The country is now a multikulti mess, though you will hear little of that from the msm.
Melbourne, Australia.
White girl beaten by black gang of 8 (Sudanese?) in train for being the wrong colour.
Because she is white the media & police look the other way.
Why has Australia imported even Africans? Evil intent by those with influence and power. How was it sold to the Australian public? Some farrago of nonsense about “refugees welcome”, “boat people”, “Australia has a responsibility” etc. Not so different from the way in which the same socio-ethnic problems are and have been imported into the UK and the rest of Europe. NWO and (((ZOG))).
Sad. However, we should more importantly note the fact that only a fundamentally white ethnostate can also build a decent society now.
[but note how the mother and child shown are non-European!]
Happy Midsummer – celebrated most in Scandinavia of course, but part of our (currently largely forgotten) traditional year too. pic.twitter.com/p59kb7xJxL
"There are migrants all over, the White Cliffs of Dover…" They're ferried from France by Islamist gangsters aided by the Navy & RNLI. Not ONE of the 1,100 illegals this year has been deported, despite pledges of Home Sec. Priti Useless? Totally! https://t.co/jIn5YFUL3S
But Douglas @DougkasKMurray, there *is* such a book. It is called 'The Abolition of Britain' and was first published in 1999. You really should read it, along with its companion volume, 'The Abolition of Liberty', published in 2004 https://t.co/eBb9lPwu0fpic.twitter.com/DvKJ8pbXQp
(((Someone))), or (((some people))). chose this dystopian emerging semi-chaos for us. Termites working away in government, Civil Service, msm newspapers, TV and radio stations, publishing, academia.
Your worries come years too late, @jonnytoe0363. This is just the cherry on top of a 50-year cultural revolution. Maybe, if anyone had paid any attention to me 20 years ago, we might have stoppedit. But not now. Its happened. ' https://t.co/h1u2yIWcmS
It’s just like when you disparage the fact that Britain is now about 25% non-white (officially nearer 15%, but that is probably a fake statistic). The msm is constantly pushing the idea that the blacks (etc) were always here. You get Twitter idiots claiming that there were numerous blacks here even in Tudor times! Indeed, some malefic academics even claim that the Romans, in Britain or generally. were black! The masses are ignorant and do not know what or who to believe, so this multikulti poison seeps in, but not by accident. There are traitors quite deliberately doing it.
Some part of that history @ammacro is in my 2004 book 'The Abolition of Liberty'. https://t.co/73XR8GZT9c
Ah…Keir Starmer and Robert Jenrick. A “Conservative” Cabinet minister, and the new “Labour” leader and head of the Shadow Cabinet. What could they possibly have in common? Well, how about these?
Keir Starmer: married to a Jewish woman lawyer; their half-Jewish children are being brought up as culturally Jewish; member of Labour Friends of Israel;
Robert Jenrick: married to a Jewish woman lawyer; their half-Jewish children are being brought up as culturally Jewish; member of Conservative Friends of Israel.
Get the picture?
Priti Patel and Yvette Cooper

Whether you like her or loathe her, you have to agree that a Home Secretary who runs off and hides during the biggest national crisis since the second world war is shameful. https://t.co/vhZaYPU7Hr
As I have often noted, it was only the rise to power, in Uganda, of Idi Amin that stopped Priti Patel from spending her life behind the counter of a Kampala grocery store. She’s another member of Conservative Friends of Israel. Thick as two short planks. A proven agent of Israel, for which she was actually sacked by then Prime Minister Theresa May. Still, in the UK of today, being stupid and corrupt (and basically foreign) does not prevent someone from becoming an MP and even a Cabinet minister, albeit a bad-joke one.
Not that I like Yvette Cooper either: a proven expenses cheat in the 2005-2010 Parliament, together with her —then Cabinet minister— husband, Ed Balls. Member of Labour Friends of Israel. Moneygrasping. A “refugees welcome” drone, who claimed that she and her nasty husband, Balls, were ready to welcome “refugees” into their home (and that everyone should do the same). Oddly, the ghastly pair never did welcome “refugees” into one of their several homes (paid for over the years by the British taxpayers). The “refugees” (and the public) are still waiting…
Yvette Cooper made work capability assessments more humiliating for disabled people, abstained on the Tories' consciously cruel Welfare Bill, abstained on the Tories' hostile environment Immigration Bill, voted for the Iraq War. Jeremy Corbyn opposed them all. #Newsnight
— Frank Owen's Legendary Paintbrush🥀🇵🇸🇾🇪 (@OwenPaintbrush) April 8, 2020
When New Labour's persecutory & widely-condemned disability welfare tests & ATOS bounty hunters failed to produce the hordes of scroungers of Mail/Express lore, but drove vulnerable people to suicide instead, unbelievably Cooper tried to make the tests EVEN HARDER TO PASS!…
Priti Patel? Yvette Cooper? I would like to [redacted], if truth be known. Ed Balls too. These are all enemies of the British people. Terrible people. Lying people. Moneygrasping people. Cruel people.
Ha ha!
Jewish Chronicle and Jewish News go up the chimney…
One unexpected bonus arising out of the Coronavirus crisis is that the police are so busy throwing their weight about, shouting at old couples walking on the fells of Northern England, at motorists who have decided to take their cars on —entirely harmless— drives, and at young ladies modestly sunbathing in London parks, that some of their other usual activities have been frozen until somewhere down the line. Not dealing with ordinary (real) crime, such as burglary, bank robbery, or even murder. Those crimes have all but fallen off a cliff during “lockdown”. No, I refer to online social media “crime” and particularly political “crime”.
According to relevant legislation, notably the notorious Communications Act 2003, s.127, and the laws dealing with procedure in the magistrates’ courts, any prosecution for “grossly offensive” tweets or Facebook posts (etc) must be taken (i.e. charge made) within 6 months of complaint to police and/or CPS (there is now also a backstop limitation of 3 years, but that does not over-ride the 6-month limitation which starts to tick once the police and/or CPS have been notified of the alleged crime).
My readers will see the point. Malicious organizations and individuals, mostly Jewish, have fastened upon this bad law and abused it to try to shut down freedom of expression. The disgraced solicitor, Mark Lewis, now resident in Israel (apparently), was a leading figure in such evil abuse of the British legal system.
[above: self-promoting Jew solicitor, obscene Twitter troll and “lawfare” abuser, Mark Lewis, now an Israeli citizen and resident in Israel]
Tame police have gone along with that to a large extent, as witness numerous cases, most of which however never made it to court (a few did, mostly resulting in small fines, though there have been a few instances where heavier penalties were imposed, e.g. the case of Alison Chabloz, the satirical singer-songwriter). Here is my own story in relation to such “lawfare” abuse:
More thoughts about Communications Act 2003, s.127
Well, it seems that, by reason of Coronavirus, the police have a perfect excuse not to do both their proper job (dealing with real crime) —despite the falling-off of crime during the “lockdown”— and also their fairly-recently acquired joke-job (monitoring and censoring comment on social media).
Further to previous comment, the chances are that, at least in respect of socio-political views expressed on Twitter etc, any complaints by (((the usual suspects))) will be filed somewhere right at the back of the priority line, meaning that (bearing in mind the now-glacial work-rate of the CPS and courts) few if any such complaints will make it to a charge within the 6-month usual limitation period. A window of Internet freedom…
Happy time!
An interesting blog article
This article by “@CrimBarrister” is disturbing and worth reading:
[above: a migrant-invader lands in Sussex. He looks happy, well-fed. The bastard even has what looks like a camera phone. No doubt signalling to thousands to follow on after him from France]
So UK police can misuse drones to spot elderly couples or solitary trekkers walking in the Peak District, but Border Force cannot do the same contra migrant-invaders in the Channel. We need a Feliks Dzerzhinsky…
Virtue-signalling Twitter idiots will say “oh, it was only 63, yesterday. Not so many...” but even if you —naively— assume that no others arrived surreptitiously, that is still about 2,000 in a month, 24,000 in a year. Most are single men. Even if you say that 6 share a house or flat, that’s still 4,000+ dwellings a year unavailable for British people. Same with medical services and everything else. And that is before they pick up English “hoes” (brainwashed into being “non-racist”…) and start to breed with them…Few have any skills in any area that might be of any use here, so they will mostly be on State benefits, inc. housing…
It sounds harsh, but these invaders should not be “rescued” but allowed to perish in the Channel, not given a free ride from a few miles off the French coast. They are invaders and must be treated as such.
Despite the fact that I consider most of the restrictions now in play nonsense, I shall not be going out for a couple of days, perhaps not until Monday (written on Thursday). In the meantime, here I recount my experience of the outside world as seen yesterday, my first outing for 2 days.
Roads quiet in my little corner of Southern England, but not as empty as they were a week ago. At Waitrose, a long line of “socially-distancing” persons all waiting to be allowed entrance by the black-clad, scarf-wearing Handmaid’s Tale militia (Waitrose marshals). My fault for going early. Go half an hour before close and you can pretty much go straight in.
The shoppers looked fairly ordinary, though there were a few idiots (as I think, anyway) wearing Chinese-style masks and, in one case, medical gloves as well. In the car park…
Inside, once allowed in (as another shopper exited), no great shortage of anything except dried pasta, which I did not need (fortunately, as it was almost all gone again, and again only the unpopular stuff like wholewheat spaghetti left). In fact, this is certainly hoarding behaviour, because there was —again— fresh pasta available aplenty. Flour was mostly gone, as was stuff used in baking bread, such as bicarbonate of soda, yeast etc. Bleach was unavailable in large containers, only the spray stuff.
Everything else formerly in short supply because of panic-buying or bulk-buying was available: bread, eggs (restricted to one pack per customer), loo paper, kitchen roll, lemons. Not much chicken left. I myself was buying mainly bread, kitchen roll (restricted to one pack) and things you need for Indian dinners: Madras, Korma and other curry pastes, Patak’s Lime Pickle, poppadums, coconut cream, chutney etc. No real shortage, though most of the rice had gone.
The UK’s toytown police state and its poundland KGB
This is a toytown North Korea in genesis. If the police think that they can repress the public indefinitely, I think that they may be in for a big shock when (not if, but when) the (so-far-compliant) public mood shifts decisively.
When I heard that police woodentop commander from Northampton say that his men would be searching people’s shopping trolleys for “non-essential” shopping (who is some police woodentop to make that judgment anyway?) I could hardly believe my ears! Actions going well beyond even the repressive “instant tyranny” of the new overnight Coronavirus Act. “Leading beyond authority”? A typical Common Purpose drone. Toytown North Korea indeed.
.@PoliceChiefs Could you have a word with the Chief Constable of Northampton Police, Nick Adderley, and explain to him that there is no coronavirus law which allows his officers to search shopping trolleys because there is no law against buying 'nonessential items'? Thank you.
I agree the lockdowns are having an effect, they are destroying jobs, destroying supply chains, destroying the economy, creating permanent psychological effects, depriving the NHS of future funding, wrecking SMEs, evaporating civil liberties….
“I don’t think there is any possibility, any likelihood of these lockdown measures being lifted immediately or even imminently,”
“We don’t yet really have enough data from what has happened so far to know for sure the impact they’re having.” [Nicola Sturgeon, talking on Sky News]
So Nicola Sturgeon has no information as to the public health effects of the “lockdown”, but is prepared to extend the “lockdown” for a great deal longer?
Goodbye, Scottish economy…
After the “lockdown” is eased, politics will be interesting
The Government (UK) has decided to keep the lockdown going, possibly until May or even later. That despite the fact that proven Coronavirus cases have not been so numerous. In fact, there is a steady decline in new cases. My theory is that, with the person currently posing as Prime Minister in hospital, his Cabinet colleagues are unwilling to take the responsibility for ending the “house arrest of the British people”.
All the same, that “house arrest” has to be ended, and soon. The damage done to the UK economy may already be close to terminal. The EU economies too:
Europe is heading into a major economic slump that will be deeper than the 2008 Great Recession. Many Eurozone states have still not recovered from the last crisis. And so far their leaders have failed to agree on a serious plan. We are all, once again, in a perilous place.
Indeed @climbwales. But Chancellor Sunak's magic money forests will eventually be stripped of their pretty blue and brown leaves. And then what? https://t.co/wHfnhQTvh9
The numbers are staggering. Roughly one in 10 American workers have now lost their jobs in only three weeks. The largest & fastest string of job losses in records dating to 1948. More than 20 million Americans may lose jobs this month.
Europe is heading into a major economic slump that will be deeper than the 2008 Great Recession. Many Eurozone states have still not recovered from the last crisis. And so far their leaders have failed to agree on a serious plan. We are all, once again, in a perilous place.
1/2 Remarkable. The more Parliament becomes like a Supreme Soviet, representing the state to the people rather than the other way round, the better its members are rewarded https://t.co/exk76kTnlk
2/2 Sir Alistair Graham, a former chairman of the committee on standards in public life, questioned the decision. "It seems to me a very crude approach [from Ipsa]," he said. "I think the public may be slightly puzzled…" https://t.co/AK8olXU1kC
Any MP who accepts the £10,000 extra for home working is a disgrace in my view.Matt Hancock should have donated his to NHS already if he has any principles?Rees Mogg should have donated his plus the profit he has made from tragedy. This is sick, when many live in uncertainty.
Labour is lost. It is lost in England, lost in Scotland and looking more lost in Wales by the day. The Corbyn project completed the gentrification that began under New Labour and now we have lost touch with the language, culture and priorities of the working class. 2/5
Did you ever think you'd witness Europe like this? Streets, Square's, gardens and towns deserted. Europe has become an eerie ghost town under #Covid19 lockdown.
— The Local Austria (@TheLocalAustria) April 9, 2020
For years, I have been writing and speaking about 2022, the most significant year since 1989. In 2022, 33 years will have passed since the fall of socialism. From 2022, a new ideology must replace both old-style socialism (including social democracy) and globalist finance-capitalism and its political excrescences.
As far as the UK is concerned, there will never be so opportune a time for social-national politics and para-politics as from now, through 2022, and on from there. I myself shall not see the dawn of 2055 (2022 + 33) but I am still here at present, struggling for the right and just and, by Grace of God, will still be here in 2022 when I reach 66 years of age.
It has been said by some, by me too, that as things stand, politics, ordinary politics, start a party and get elected politics, holds out little prospect of success for us.
We have seen successively-greater waves of non-European immigration since 1945 change Britain out of all recognition. We know that that gradual invasion means that our sort of politics is always fighting its way uphill. The faster breeding rate of the non-Europeans adds yet another factor. On the other hand, even England is still about 85% “white” (European), despite the fact that some major cities are no longer majority non-white.
If the economy of the world goes into recession or even depression, the political realm will be changed out of recognition. Look at how, after 10 years of lying “there is no money” fake “austerity”, even a “Conservative” government has suddenly thrown open its coffers. Desperate times betoken desperate measures. The most radical ideologies may soon seem plausible to desperate and struggling people.
Politics, for us, is about people, about the race and, beyond even the race, the future race we wish to create.
Aaron James Williamson, of Grimsby. Bit off part of his kitten’s ear in a number of separate attacks; punched the kitten on numerous occasions. Sentence? 12 weeks, which means 6 weeks actually in prison, at most. I usually oppose extra-judicial justice, aka “mob justice” or “lynch law”, but there are exceptions. The law should have sufficient weight to deal properly with such an offence. To my mind, the current law is inadequate (the max is a 6-month sentence, though a new law is currently before Parliament). Even so, why only 12 weeks? I should have thought that this crime (the evil little bastard pleaded to one speciment charge) at least merited 4 or 5 months, bearing in mind that the real term served would be only half anyway).
Amusing, though not very useful. In a sense though, all one can do is laugh, when there is little of a practical nature that the individual can do.
My supposition of a week ago, that the main hope for us in relation to this nuisance (that could become some sort of catastrophe) is that the weather warms and so (we are told) weakens the ability of the virus to live on surfaces etc, is now echoed by scientists and talking heads.
I myself went this morning, early, to my local Waitrose (the only supermarket within miles, except for a smallish Marks & Spencer food store). I intended to buy some real Manuka honey (which stimulates the human immune system). The best type is about £20 a jar, but it works. No luck. The entire stock had already been bought and the shelf was empty.
…I speculated about whether our present civilization might be ended by a virus pandemic, or by some other global threat. Coronavirus/Corvid-19 is not that virus, but the next one of the same sort may be. The present virus is 1,000x more infectious than was the SARS virus of several years ago, but less deadly. What if the next virus is 1,000x as infectious as the present one, and is also many times more dangerous to life?
As it is, we are almost thrown back on mediaeval remedies: avoidance of human contact, secure food and water supplies, “magic” honey, hope, prayer etc. There is at present no medicine, no vaccine available. Antibiotics are useless because they do not affect viruses. All that even the best hospitals can do, so far, is to relieve symptoms, and they will not be able to do that for long if the already-struggling NHS is swamped by huge new demand.
Russia
“Russia’s Putin wants traditional marriage and God in constitution” [BBC News]
Suddenly I feel a lifting of spirits, as I contemplate the short to medium-term future…in fact I feel quite excited!
Joanna Lumley
“‘Your money or your life!’: Joanna Lumley reveals terrifying moment armed bandits held her at gunpoint during filming of TV documentary in Haiti.” [Daily Mail]
“Joanna Lumley was threatened by armed bandits while filming a travel series in Haiti. They abushed [sic] the 73-year-old actress while she was driving through a mountain range with her camera crew. The gun-wielding gang told Miss Lumley and her team that they would kill them if they did not hand over their cash. But two of the Absolutely Fabulous star’s bodyguards stepped in and she escaped unscathed.” [Daily Mail]
“The incident is not shown in the programme.” Well, no…I mean, we could not have British TV viewers coming away with the impression that black people, without white rulers or administrators, cannot run a reasonably civilized society…
I suppose that the incident might have been omitted because there were no cameras rolling at the time, but I doubt it.
The disease is spreading
I mean the Swedish disease…Finland is now also sick:
My home town has launched a 2,5 million euro project called Safe Oulu that aims at combating the (migrant) rape crisis.
This is where the money goes.
Kill me now.
At least, be kind and lobotomize me so I won't have to live with this image in my head. pic.twitter.com/NuAPAS1UQF
Saw some dull System drone on Sky News, talking about all the wonderful work of the Coastguard, rescuing those in trouble at sea. Very good, but not when what it means is that migrant-invaders are basically given a fast-shuttle service from mid-Channel to the shores of England.
No less than 100 are known to have crossed the Channel on small boats yesterday alone (with or without UK government help). That’s the ones that were known about…What about the thousands of others no doubt smuggled in by ferry or via the Channel Tunnel? Some even come via light planes that land on grass strips in rural areas.
Then there are the “legal” migrants, in their thousands, daily. “Family members”, “asylum seekers”, “students” etc.
100 in a day (minimum) = about 40,000 in a year. Total arriving every year legally/illegally— about HALF A MILLION. No civilized economy or society can survive that for long.
I notice that these “poor refugees” (migrant-invaders, mostly economic migrants) seem to have access to good quality rubber boats or RIBs. Those boats cost from about £1,000 (with small outboard motor) to not only thousands but sometimes tens of thousands of pounds. The ones I saw in newspapers and on TV, and which were involved in yesterday’s incidents, cost about £4,000 each…
My view is that there is a will across Europe to reverse the process, but that that will, or at least wish, is only found in the people (and some cartoonists), and not in the ZOG/NWO governments of most of the EU states (and UK), which are, in their most secret councils, part of the Coudenhove-Kalergi conspiracy.
Rather harsh satire, perhaps, or arguably, but it does portray the wish of the bulk of the European peoples as a whole.
Katie Hopkins
Katie Hopkins is back on Twitter (slightly to my surprise):
As always, Ms. Hopkins aims again at the Muslims, when it was a Jewess and/or the Jewish lobby, and a lobby group allegedly funded in whole or in part by George Soros, that got her suspended from Twitter. Not “conspiracy theory” but admitted fact:
Had an overwhelmingly positive response to @Twitter’s actions today. The British public hates hate! 🇬🇧❤️
As well as Katie Hopkins, CCDH and I specifically asked for a review of George Galloway on @Twitter.
As others deleted tweets and apologised for spreading this lie when it was debunked, Galloway made it his pinned tweet. Exploiting a tragic accident for racist incitement. https://t.co/FtznyAYYdF
Katie Hopkins should think again and tweet accordingly, while she still can…
Like so many, Rachel Riley thinks that Twitter = The World or The Public, whereas in fact Twitter is an ever-narrower echo-chamber, as previously blogged about.
Talking about Twitter, the platform made a profit in 2018, the first since Twitter went public in 2013. Until 2018, Twitter had lost well over $USD 2.2 billion! I have often wondered why the big investors have been content to lose billions of dollars funding Twitter. What is really behind it (and Facebook etc)? Is it just a huge trawling operation to discover and archive users’ political views? Maybe. Maybe not. Look at Uber:
Another example of Silicon Valley’s extraordinary patience with tech firms – Uber loses $1.1bn in three months but it’s on the “path to profitability” so that’s all good https://t.co/BUjyQd9Xxy
Whatever the truth of that, the Katie Hopkins/Rachel Riley/Twitter incident highlights again the precarious state of free speech online. If you annoy some daytime TV game show presenter, and that TV face is a loud enough nuisance to Twitter, Facebook, whatever, you’re kicked off those platforms and to hell with your supposed right to freedom of expression. Sick society.
Equal chance?
In the clip below, some no doubt sincere fellow from the North of England says that everyone has “an equal chance” and “it is what they do with it…”.
Seems that my posting of this video has really wound up some people. I’m being monstered here on Twitter, just like during the General Election.
Boris Johnson: part-Jew; educated at considerable expense so that he might make the right sort of connections; sacked from various jobs but connections always sorted out other ones for him; no good at anything except self-promotion. Bang! Prime Minister 2019-; useless;
David Cameron-Levita: part-Jew, educated at…[see above]…. Inherited £40 million. Connections had him given a job as Special Adviser to a Con Cabinet minister and then as head of a TV publicity dept. Underwhelming, but still got selected as Con MP for a safe seat. Bang! Prime Minister 2010-2017; useless;
Zac Goldsmith: part-Jew, educated [see above]. Inherited about £300 million. Never had a job, really. Selected as MP. Bang! Appointed minister; lost Commons seat later but then immediately elevated to House of Lords; useless;
You get the picture. That poor sap in the clip really thinks that, under a Conservative Party government, he has or will have, or his offspring if any will have, the same life-“chances” as someone replete with family money, and with connections garnered at somewhere such as Eton (and then Oxford, in the first two examples given). It’s sad…
The reality is that
this government is for (at best) the most-affluent half of the society (and arguably for the most-affluent 10%); and
the whole idea of “equality of opportunity” is flawed in any case, leaving 90% of the people out in the cold.
Richard Strauss, Ein Heldenleben [A Hero’s Life]
“You have to act like a hero today, merely to behave like a decent human being” [Sean Connery, as Barley Blair, in 1989 film The Russia House].
These days, Jesus Christ would probably have to face the magistrates for his forthright views! As for Leviticus, that old bastard would be “doin’ a tenner in the Kesh”!
Well, I know six, maybe seven, of the answers to those 10 questions. How come John Rentoul got only three right (and is fairly famous, influential etc) and I am not? There’s the question…[10 mins later: in fact I only got 6, not 7, right; “Anderlecht”, Question 9, stumped me, as did Questions 1, 4 and 8].

The last three polls in Scotland have a majority for independence: Survation, 20-22 Jan: 50.2% YouGov, 22-27 Jan: 51% Panelbase, 28-31 Jan: 52% Excl don't knows https://t.co/3dHkuU35jj
As I have often said, if the people of Scotland really want “Independence” from the UK, fine, but don’t expect any further financial help from England. Or an open border. I myself cannot see that Scotland is really “independent” if it is still under (not just part of) EU, NATO, and the international financial web, but there it is…; also, is Scotland going to continue to take in non-Europeans and pretend that they and their offspring are Scottish?
“Brexit” and “uncertainties around Brexit” look like joining “the cheque’s in the post” and other phrases as an excuse of choice. BBC News: “[Axminster]…had previously come close to closing in 2013 and was subsequently rescued by a consortium led by a private investor Stephen Boyd.” No comma before “Stephen Boyd”…well, that’s the BBC now, full of 20-somethings with “Firsts” from Oxford but who cannot even put a comma in the right place.
…and with the same excuse: “...less than two years later, in the same week the UK was to leave the European Union, the firm has gone into administration after reportedly struggling to pay a tax bill. The owner also blamed Brexit uncertainty.”
So it was not poor management, lack of demand for large motorcycles, fraud, or anything like that, just “Brexit uncertainty”…oh, and the apparent fact that the company has not been paying its tax bills…
“However, the story is far more complex than that. It is a pile-up that includes hundreds of hapless pension holders, together with unsuspecting Norton customers, staff and even government ministers, who repeatedly endorsed Norton as millions of pounds in taxpayer support flowed into the firm. All will take a lot of persuading that this is merely a story of a plucky British company that is a victim of circumstance. Their anger looks likely to be directed principally towards one man: Norton’s boss, Stuart Garner.” [The Guardian]
“An associated business owned by Stuart Garner, the nearby Priest House Hotel, is also in administration, being run temporarily by an outside hotel chain.” [Wikipedia].
Brutal thug attacked a man in a surprise attack, having already hit another nearby. Four punches, delivered to a helpless victim. Victim had to have metal plate inserted etc.
“Bassnett initially gave a no comment interview to police, before he was picked out by Mr Bimpson at an identity parade”
“When interviewed again, he claimed he was threatened by the two men in the car park, which prosecutors did not accept.”
“Bassnett, who admitted causing grievous bodily harm, has 29 previous convictions for 39 offences, including an affray in 2003.”
“In August 2013 he punched a man during a taxi queue row in Liverpool city centre, knocking out one of his teeth, and pushed a woman to the ground.”
“Bassnett was convicted of battery against the woman in December 2013 and assault causing actual bodily harm against the man in 2015, for which he received a nine-month sentence, suspended for two years.” [Liverpool Echo]
Spared imprisonment because he has a business with 2 employees (it must be a small business indeed, if his own pay is only £1,600 per month), and because he has children. This is not justice.
I see the judge’s reasoning, but this was a brutal crime by someone with no less than 29previous convictions!
Just as well that the defendant did not do such a wicked thing as mention the bloody Jews in a speech, as did Jez Turner (1 year immediate imprisonment, despite being of previous good character and having spent 12 years in the British Army, including active deployments to both Afghanistan and Iraq)…
